black guys have massive [ __ ] it is racist technically but it's not negative but nobody Minds you saying it yeah well yeah that that's the thing cuz I've never really good fighting games I don't know why all right well maybe you just need to practice okay either that or I need to get Moral Kombat I guess either that or you just don't get choose where you eat I'll get better I wonder if that could work for bigger fights as well you know I mean I I I have a lot of like pretty serious arguments with my partner trying to decide where we eat but uh you know we just we just punch yeah punch we just punch on you and your partner that's the way you said that implies that you and I are together no no I mean Jen and I and then you know like and and sometimes you know someone will stick there grab your

not familiar with it sorry yeah you hadn't seen that before now I'm not a Catholic but I know when someone does the sign of the cross I didn't know that's what he was doing I I honestly did not I know what you mean like head and stomach and shoulders or whatever spectacles testicles yeah see I'm not I'm not familiar with it I know it like if if someone does it very obviously then I can go oh that's that thing right but if he's just waving his hand I don't know what he's doing do you know why I know that and you don't Matt why because I was raised as an atheist right so all of that stuff was kind of up for grabs for me to just put into my brain you were raised as like a strict Anglican well no I was Protestant yeah same thing and not and not not

particularly strict was [ __ ] you went to a religious primary school did you not uh they [ __ ] kicked you out of scripture did they not asking questions my original primary school was and then I got was was public sorry was a public school and I got moved to to a Christian one yes and I did and I attended Christian Schools um for high school yeah but again there were they just made you they made it a personal crusade to not let you find out about Catholicism well not Anglican or Catholic or Catholic so and they're the two more I thought Ang was the same as Protestant is that not the case no absolutely not of England isn't it no absolutely not all right I don't know anything about it clearly Anglican Church branched off from the Catholic church when um King

Henry VII decided that he wanted to divorce his wives right and so he just invented a new church church of England the Anglican church so that he could make up the rules himself and so that that Church formed and then during the Reformation I believe yeah Martin Luther nailed his complaints to the door of the church and said okay you giv me the shits and then he started the Protestant movement of which there are which is give away all your possessions and and wear a sack around and there's like a a whole bunch of of different types of that as well I also believe he was the first one who wanted to translate the Bible out of Latin into languages people could read could be could be and they they didn't like that the administration so anyway no I'm sorry I'm not not

terribly famili with Catholic tradition sorry about that okay that's enough for multiple religion gasm today yeah do we have any more advice for Luke we do this is from Simon Simon cole who's he's been a listener and and fan fan of the show for a long time fan Simon cole is The Unofficial fifth member of this podcast I know he does all the artwork I know if listeners if you've seen any of our stuff online you've seen his work and he's a genius not even online glance down at the device you're listening to right now good point good point Simon says best advice I can think of right now is to always listen to your partner whatever they're talking about give them your focus and make sure they know you are always there to hear what they have to say after a few years you'll be able

to do this while still playing the Xbox as many of the conversations will be just about emptying the bins helping to tidy around the house and do the washing up once in a while once you've memorized the responses to each of these they become muscle memory and are easy to recall while still gaining achievements that is brilliant advice yes and I'm sure your advice man that's a good advice you'll be taking it spoken by a man who's had to learn the hard way spoken by me or just written in written in by transcribed by him I guess spoken by you sure listen to Darcy hey Darcy how you going he says don't die and make sure the same happens with your lady good advice solid advice I hadn't been planning on dying but maybe I should yeah I should probably incorporate hater

somebody in the audience was like get up and so we got up uh we paid more attention at the rehearsal and then told you guys what we had to do look it was fine it was fine Chris mcgr writes in and says just keep doing what you're doing you're on to a winner mhm and listen I'm realized that I'm not saying everybody's name that's not intentional it's just it's just how it's happened Michael O fear I know I did I know cuz it was such an impressive cool last names I just haven't haven't noticed that I haven't even written everybody's last name down so uh sorry but listen to Randall writes in and says ask her for 150 bucks every Sunday so you can go to the pub and get drunk uh he will be doing that I assume won't you I will be now yeah I listen to her

listener's advice that's like getting $200 for and go you know just by getting around another week you just get a little bit of pocket money and finally we had somebody send in uh I believe it's probably the person who runs this website because it was from the user account wife hacks and they've sent us a link to this website wife hacks which seems to be a bunch of uh advice for for men uh for example the best time to ask for favors is on the way to the bathroom okay what what women love seeing a man do chores plan to start 30 minutes before she gets home ooh that's good when your lady says what it's not because she didn't hear you she's giving you a chance to change what you [Laughter] said if at first you don't succeed try doing it the way she told you [Laughter]

to oh dear in in arguments you have two options be correct or be happy never laugh at your wife's choices you are one yeah this is not bad not bad yeah your wife won't start an argument with you if you're [Laughter] cleaning I yeah no I was once told that I needed to clean 10% more than I currently was which was the start of an argument I was like like the [ __ ] did you just say to [Laughter] me I do really like the one about just starting half an hour before they get home yeah it's good this one as well if you say I'll fix that fix it she'll

[Laughter] remember yeah yeah so uh that's that's also some useful advice even though I think it was technically spam it turned out to be quite useful fine for me I I take the advice of any spam given to me yeah all right well so that's that's our coverage of Luke's wedding I guess is anything you want to add guys uh yeah I I want to add something actually okay yeah because um I uh I AMC The Wedding actually um said a few things did a great job oh thanks Luke I'm glad you think so I tried to tried to just move things along uh bring a a little bit of humor but not too much I didn't want to David Brent the situation you know what I mean y but um one of one of the stories I told one of the things that I mentioned

right was that in high school Luke and I used to be a bit Scrappy right yeah we we we didn't start off as best friends we were a bit Scrappy we rubbed each other the wrong way got into you know a couple of scrapes and and then eventually became best friends right yeah that's the short story but I mentioned the time there was a couple of times where you know things came to blows uh and you know it's kind of ironic cuz now we're such close but I think and I'm not quite why maybe I didn't go into enough detail right with the stories because everybody there and a lot of people spoke to me about it afterwards everyone took every single memory they had of you being picked on in high school and attributed that to me right and everyone had all these

different stories because we all got picked on right I mean everyone gets picked on in high school so I had people come up to me and say oh I can't believe you bash lukee that time under this circumstance this ccum whoa whoa whoa whoa no no no no that wasn't me I don't know who you're talking about but that wasn't me right and other people come up to me and saying oh [ __ ] Luke bashed you good and I'm like no neither of us bashed each other okay we were just Scrappy that's it right I don't know who you're talking about then but that wasn't me and your dad Luke came up to me and started saying yeah Luke used to talk about you didn't realize it was at the time but Luke used to tell me that he was getting picked on and I was like just [ __ ] hit the [ __ ] I'm like Dean

I don't think that was me I'm sure that was one of the many [ __ ] wits who was picking on us back in the day stop attributing all the stories to me yeah it was not you for half most of those fights I got suspended quite a few times in high school for fighting we all did it was a dangerous place to be yeah the only person on crutches or a wheelchair to get suspended for fighting if you apologize for what you've done to Luke's leg you falling off the internet I just don't know what to I don't know what to say don't to say you guys do need to apologize by the way not to not to me and not to each other necessarily no no not not even necessarily to each other to the listeners maybe depending on who those listeners happen to be I I wasn't

present for this and I only found out about it later cuz I I was shown a clip from uh from from the episode that I missed oh and I just want to say I was disgusted and now I'm going to play the clip oh sure and you guys just think about what you've done just think about what you've done all right have listen to this [ __ ] my robot [ __ ] Daddy I'm such a bad naughty I [ __ ] hate they should all die and burn in hell Bush did 9/11 and Hitler would have done a better job than that we've got now I [ __ ] hate I wish we could put the all in concentration camps with the and be done with a lot kill right I hate the Jews unbelievable you didn't even bother beeping Luke's uh well I mean everyone just everyone knows how he feels it wasn't much

watch and you think about for days and I've been thinking about the witch since I saw it so this is a movie that came out last year it's called The Witch a New England folk tale and I watched this because people told me it was legitimately scary well spoilers it's not because how can an actual mov be actually scary I don't actually understand that concept right like it's true but it is unsettling for sure and it is creepy and its commitment to its premise is very strong uh and the performances are very strong it's set in the kind of you know Salem witch trial days uh although it's not it's not actually about Witch Trials but it's

it's it's set in that kind of environment and it's just cool it's just [ __ ] cool Matt you would like it Luke yeah I've very good things about it and I do intend to watch it did you get it from Italy yeah of course yeah yeah okay Che if I can't watch something on Netflix and more specifically if I can't watch something on the Singapore Netflix then I just go to Italy yeah okay cool I I've got I got Netflix now and I also got to Stan recently cuz I got a free three-month trial from uh Xbox so uh but I'll talk about that more in a bit when I talk about a TV show that I watched okay so it it looks very interesting I know that it's got a goat in it because I've seen that that uh that goat's name is Black Phillip and uh he will haunt your dreams the the goats of character yeah

okay and I know that it's set in the New England Country Side that's that's about all I know beautiful and yet harsh New England Country Side mhm Luke yes your favorite actor go favorite actor yeah you've answered this before hting at something specific here so just just say the okay fine it's Dwayne The Rock Johnson right would it excite you sexually to learn he's a good actor all right it's not my favorite he's a good actor uhhuh I still stand by that do you think he's as good as Robin Williams was he's better at Staying Alive better at not killing himself well we don't know that yet Robert Wills was older so far he is yet all right well uh he's apparently starring I'm not quite sure in what capacity starring in a remake of

Jumanji okay just before we go any further who has been asking for a is this really a movie that needs to be remade as I alluded to that I don't know who the rock is going to play in this plays one of the kids the child yeah exactly oh I mean yeah I don't I don't know it's obviously going to be different well clearly but here's the thing right I like Jumanji and if Jumanji was on TV i' probably watch it what I wouldn't do is go to the cinema to watch a Jumanji remake even if it STS someone a lot better than Dwayne The Rock Johnson yeah it's weird it's not why do a remake can't they just do like a sequel cuz they already had one sequel didn't it need a sequel either yeah but that I think that would be better than a remake what he says is taking existing

properties that are beloved worldwide like Baywatch and Rampage telling their stories in dope new ways to a whole new generation is truly an honor he said dope he said the word dope he said dope we'll produce and deliver to A Whole New Generation a title that I love and is one of my alltime faves there's games you play for fun then there's games that change your life Jumanji doesn't say which Jumanji is he just just says Jumanji uh also should be there are games not theirs games but whatever but yeah I don't know what this is going to be like but it's probably going to be a bit more exploding than the last one yeah I guess even one explosion would be more than the last one I like Dwayne The Rock Johnson as well I just don't know what this movie

is yeah I've got no problem with Dwayne The Rock Johnson I he was [ __ ] excellent in Fast and the Furious six y yeah he excellent as The Scorpion King in that movie The Scorpion King yeah he was except when he was that um really early CGI version of himself that he was wasn't he wasn't as good at being that you can't really blame him no I don't think he was required to do the the CG himself he said no I got it and they're like man I wish this was better but the actual actor has to be the one who does the animation rules I would almost believe it if somebody told me that Andy Circus did that like insisted on animating his own characters thanks to a court case by crisen Glover in the80s uh the actor portraying a character is required to animate that

character just in case in case yeah yeah that is that is an obscure reference and I'm sorry if you you know what if you don't understand that reference that's just bad luck for you go back and listen to other episodes of this podcast I'm pretty sure we've mentioned chrisp and Glover before even I get that reference yeah look up why is not crisp and Glover not in the Back to the Future sequels and you can look it up on YouTube actually not on Google because then you can hear it from the [ __ ] straight from the horse's mouth he'll tell you about it [ __ ] Chris Glover is so good so good [ __ ] trying to kick fascinating [ __ ] letman in the face he's fascinating if you're a school in Texas right yeah and you're named after Robert E Lee General Lee uh you know the uh

confederate general yeah you mean the car from Jukes of Hazard yeah you're named after the car from Jes of Hazard uh and you decide you want to rename the school potentially you want to you put up a petition to rename the school do you open up to the public um no no not generally I mean it's it's kind of elegant it's a controversial name right because the South lost the war right um controversially I actually support the South uh in the in the American Civil War not because I believe that uh they should have the right to own slaves but because I believe that um States who who want to Annex themselves into a separate country should have the right to self-govern and so I would I would fight to the death for their right to fight to the death for their right to own slaves

yeah going to say unfortunately you get lumped in with so I don't I don't I don't support the slavery but I do support their right to self-govern yeah it's tough imagine you're that one guy right who's there going no no no it's not about that that's right give us our slaves no no no don't mention the slaves what are you doing whoa whoa whoa no no no just yeah well they they ask for suggestions right to rename the school from Robert E Lee Elementary School uh the new names that are up up highest number of votes at the moment Donald J Trump Harper Lee right y Spike Lee I see where this is going and Bruce Lee yep and then there's also this one the Adolf Hitler school for friendship and tolerance well see that sounds like the

watch the rest of it and put episode 3 on and just instantly I was [ __ ] loving it so I don't know what happened cuz I really really enjoyed the rest of the season well good yeah like you guys seen it right no I haven't actually I've not seen any of it oh man yeah I really feel like the of the season was it just felt like I was watching you know one of the one of the old movies again yeah so thumbs up for me and it's been left wide open for season two yeah so they're yeah they're doing another season I wondered actually I don't want to give away the ending but I wondered if they had shot two endings just in case like they did with army of dark because yeah because it kind of could have gone either way I guess at the end there yeah I'd be interested to to

discover well not surprised to find out that they had shot two different actually I thought the ending was a bit [ __ ] I I can see why they did it because they wanted to continue it on but I agree actually I thought it was a little bit of a jump but whatever I don't want to I'm trying not to do spoilers for Dan I think we can do spoilers this has been out for Dan has seen long time now oh yeah Dan hasn't seen it all right give me a week or two and I'll catch up all right and we'll talk spoilers but yeah no I know what you mean I didn't mind it but I did think it was a bit Yeah well before we go and just on the subject of telion uh are you guys going to watch Game of Thrones or are you going to wait I haven't watched last season oh right what season are they up

to now six I think so I think I think I maybe haven't watched five I'm not sure if I've even watched four I just stopped because people give me the [ __ ] yeah cuz here's the problem that I've got right I like to binge once the entire season is ready to watch yeah but the internet and social media make that impossible now because if I want to not get spoilers I just have to not go on the internet now for 10 weeks yeah exactly and people think they're not spoiling by saying really vague things that if you have any brain at all wor actually makes it really specific yeah it's the worst last season I managed to get almost through to the end of season 5 whatever it was almost being ready to

watch with no spoilers and then somebody wrote well I'm not going to spoil it but uh I hope nobody uh is g to miss Jon Snow and it's like well okay [ __ ] with he's dead is he I know and all through was it season season 3 was it everyone kept going I'm not going to say what happens but blood will flow at the Red Wedding like oh thanks for that that's right yeah I guess I guess I know [ __ ] everyone's going to get murdered at a wedding and then behold oh there's a wedding coming up that'll be it then yeah I guess I guess we know whose wedding it is and who gets murdered yeah yes you didn't explicitly tell me what happens but you I know it just frustrates me and I know it's not a big

deal and and to be honest no it is a big deal stop being a [ __ ] fair enough but yeah I haven't watched last season I don't know if I'll bother I just I don't know I watched season one having stopped watching it I don't actually I'm not that compelled to keep going anymore so I might just not well I think I've mentioned on this podcast before but in between the end of the last season and the start of this one I've gone back to the start and watched all through again and watching it a second time is far better than watching it the first time you were just aware of so much more of the politics and things that they mentioned casually in the first season that you just ignored the first time around because you didn't know they were important you

get the relevance this time and and I'm just really pyed for this new season yeah all right well I don't know I'll probably wait till it's out or something like that I've actually I've been on social media a lot less uh of late and I'm I feel like I'm mentally better for it so maybe that won't be a problem because I'm just not going to be on there I find social media really draining oh yeah yeah I agree with that but you know I mean there's certain things you can't avoid I know and I know L's famously dropped off the social media hav you I I I use Instagram to look at pictures yeah I do that too that's what most people use Instagram for yeah but I mean that's like the only social media I use I use Instagram to watch films
