jingle for lawsuits that are stupid oh yeah we still have that let's have a look uh check the old playlist I've got are you sure that's a law which is uh quite popular should I play that cuz I know people like that one yeah it's a good one it's a good uh it's a good jingle it's not particularly relevant though well it's all about the law I don't want to be throwing them around all right here we go are you playing it I am playing it are you not hearing it just playing it man well that's disappointing let me try well it's not disappointing for you it's disappointing for us and ultimately for the listeners well I mean no cuz the

listeners I can just add it in later like they'll get to hear it you just might not don't give it away don't give away the magic of how this works can you hear me can you still hear me I can hear you can hear you yeah all right no well I just changed the setting so there was a potential for you not to be able to you make it sound like I'm crazy I'm changing a setting yeah Matt everyone's crazy but you all right let me try that again when my jaw hit the floor when I heard what you said but I'm sure in days of your would have made more sense it seems so strange and I need to know the score so I really got to ask are you sure that's a law are you sure that's a law what I love most about that is that little repre at the end it like ends and then it's like no [ __ ] it

one more time one more just cuz I like the way it rhymed yeah are you sure that's a law I've got uh bizarre court cases that's probably the one oh that's it before you move on though to that it just occurred to me that are you sure that's a law only works because of the Australian accent oh yeah I know like Jenna if Jenna said are you sha that's a law it wouldn't rhyme no because Sha's got an r in it yeah that we don't bother with yeah yeah no time for the uh what are we talking about there's plenty of things where uh or burger right I say Burger funny well you know no you don't say say the way I say it yeah it's Burger it's a b u r g ah H yeah burger people can always tell I'm Australian in in like a a burger joint

cuz I'm always going to say because you always say chips instead of fries yeah a large chips and a burger so that's that's the tell is the uh is the ER if you're wondering how to tell in Australian burger burger talk about knives a lot yeah you don't even open your mouth when you say it the American way Burger I suppose it's an American word though so yeah that's true well more on that later all right I'm going to play this other the [Music] jingle that's Harvey Birdman I've never seen Harvey Birdman hopefully this will that's right it was a it was a podcast Luke and I were doing without you and we were very specific about what we wanted the jingle to be yeah I had to look up

the opening titles for Harvey Birdman you know uh speaking of Jingles just quickly before we there's a lot of rat holes in this episode in the first couple of minutes um people don't listen to us for the news Dan I know that uh I don't know if you've caught up Matt on the on the last podcast that that Luke and I recorded while you were in uh New Hampshire right but um we we had the need of doing a new jingle right oh um for uh vagina news okay because we had the dick news jingle but sometimes uh the news isn't about dicks it's about the opposite of dicks that's a good point equal opportunity genital news that genital news genital news

yeah we need a new one yeah well let's see if there I think there might be some genital news later so um this there's at least something we can uh we can force in there you got an update for us Dan but first I just want to tell you about uh when I was making the uh vagina news jingle um which when you'll hear it you'll notice that it is slightly derivative of an existing jingle um Luke I'm assuming you haven't listened back to it either uh no yeah forgot that there was an episode I wasn't on cuz I would have listened to it otherwise sure okay excuses excuses um it's not my fault well I asked H the other day cuz I heard her listening to the latest podcast I'm like oh what did you think of the one that just mean Luke did and she's like oh ski that

one what a thanks way she then went back and listened to it but I I think it was only cuz I reacted so poorly yeah and then she accused me of embellishing the dwarf story so uh to the point where she she also doesn't believe it was a dwarf so we'll see we'll see what happens there now I've got to listen to it I see what you're doing now I know I need context for that so anyway I'll go on without giving too much context but um I had to record the word vagina uh and I was at work while I was editing the podcast so I oh no I went into I went to to another room and just on my phone recorded the word vagina uh just once using the uh the voice recorder on the iPhone uh and emailed it to myself then I went back into the main office we live in an open

plan office where I clicked download uh and then I left to go to the bathroom and uh when I got back it downloaded it had it had opened itself and it was just it was looping yes the word vagina in my voice loudly throughout the office so I got back to the desk quickly closed it and sat down and looked around and and what was most horrifying about this at all is that nobody reacted not in the slightest he just said did anyone hear that well it probably heard worse coming from your computer so yeah yeah that's possible or or maybe they were just like don't make eye contact don't let him explain it and because know no offense

Dam but you're the kind of person who would accidentally do this is just sit there chilling out watching videos with your headphones in but not plugged in I've done it I knew you would have I knew it I've absolutely done it yeah a uh John who I worked with if he's uh if he's listening hey John once I sent him a video and he put his headphones on at work it was actually you remember the Crispy Cream music video pretty famous video I probably knew it at the time but I've I've ER I'll send it I'll send it to you guys later anyway it's just this this goofy rap song that this guy made I sent it to him and he uh he hit play he put his headphones on and just didn't realized that they weren't plugged in and thenone was like what the [ __ ] is he doing very

good isn't the problem with that that you also would have to turn the volume up a little bit because you can't quite hear it your headphones you got to hear it over the um passive noise cancellation yeah you know I was working at HMV years ago and uh we used to have these listening stations with these little booths that took one CD and you put headon in you CDs before you bought them anyway we had this kid once about a 14-year-old kid who uh was absolutely rocking out to uh Black Betty by that Australian band what spider bait spider bait yeah um really rocking out had his eyes shut right that's the level of rockout he was doing right full body rockout and singing along and when I noticed he was doing it I just brought

down the music in the store slowly faded that out so that by the time this kid realized that he was audibly and Visually rocking out Not only was he in dead silence but the entire populace of the store was staring right at him and he's now the new le singer for spider bait back to right are we preach of copyright for calling this a podcast Matt no we're good the uh it was a close call and over the years people have um have taken measures to protect to protect themselves because of this cuz there was there were some patents given out uh when were they given out 2012 so ridiculous 2012 so quite a fair amount of time after the invention of the podcast in 2012 when did we actually start doing owls

2011 when we when we got back from uh America the first time so can we sue them uh well maybe but uh I think they they're definitely podcasts that have been around longer than we have cuz that's why we did it cuz we listened to them and we're like yeah we didn't we didn't invent the concept someone someone told us we should I forget who it was cuz you know we just get drunk at parties and talk [ __ ] and someone was like you should record that and we're like all right yeah we did and here we are five uh yeah some patents were issued in 20 12 uh to a company called personal audio LLC and uh and they've been threatening to sue podcasters uh particularly Adam

Corolla over his podcast the Adam Corolla show MH MH because they uh they they claimed that they earn the rights to podcasting the patent to podcasting but then they've it's gone to court and they've said well how can you earn the patents for something that's been around since 2001 when you only got a patented in 2012 so mhm no that's a very good question yeah and I'm glad someone finally asked it I also I like that nobody bothered to patent it before that which is kind of nice yeah I was about to say nobody patented it because it was this really great open source thing that just people were doing but you know and I guess the the other thing is too that the again the reason it got thrown out is because I mean it's quite obviously just downloading a file off the Internet

it's not really like you know yeah it didn't invent anything it's just kind of like a new way of using a thing that already existed like can you patent that I think it's a file and then you download it you listen to it can you patn that probably not well uh these guys are discovering that no you can't yeah well there you go which is good and it probably cost them a lot of money to find out but they probably made money off sewing someone else for something yeah they probably have patents for shoes or something well even Nintendo's getting sued again for bu by um you know within switch with their controllers yeah they're being sued for that because the company that came out in 2015 creates controllers for phones and tablets and things and they're saying switch stall

ID give us money a [ __ ] controller for a game console Nintendo stole your idea I don't think so I'm not having to go with you Luke thanks cuz it really felt like it was my fault I haven't done anything well I know that there was person who successfully sued Apple uh or iTunes specifically because they they said they came up with the idea of a playlist right what have they never heard of a mixtape apparently not apparently they never had a girlfriend in high school well that's that's kind of obvious [Laughter] actually but no we're safe Apple lose that one yeah did they really there was a settlement yeah yeah Jesus there must have been more to it than that but that was the gist of it they probably just wanted them go away yeah they got enough

money well sometimes it's easier just to pay them the go away right which is why people keep doing it yeah yeah exact unfortunately yeah well famously the the um Adam Corolla show got sued in the past I forget by who exactly because they they were saying that they should be sharing some of their revenue and and then they basically went to court and the court looked through all the documents and said podcast don't make would I don't know well maybe it's too late cuz you've got to protect that [ __ ] I think it's too late yeah you got to protect that [ __ ] pretty early on otherwise it's like yeah not going to happen so anyway all good podcast away so it we'll continue yeah yeah whether you want us to or not we nothing better

to do yeah stop listening see if we're care we won't even notice do we want to talk about hamburgers I mean we we kind of started segue into hamburger talk yeah there's a a town in uh in New York called Hamburg and they have a big water tower and it kind of looks like a hamburger and so they want to paint it like a hamburger which I think is a brilliant idea that's great I'd be painting literally everything uh like a hamburger if I was in that town well the the uh the town fathers which is an adorable uh thing have decided no we don't want that thing to look like a big hamburger and so now spoil Sports I know so now you can help by going well probably not really but you can feel

petition with at least 1 th000 signatures to paint the water tower to look like a hamburger I guess there's no guarantee that's going to have any effect but you know um I would just like to I I know everyone try inside but yeah i' just like to see a report that shows any change.org petition that successfully did anything oh skeptic do yeah do do petitions have any effect listeners if you if you know of a a petition that's had some kind of affair what someone's inhaling sharply like I'm saying something I think that was there but my thing with petitions they can mean something but not an internet petition I think I think if a petition is all you're willing to do you're not willing to do much well what I'm

thinking of if for that town it might mean something if they got a thousand people from that town getting a thousand random people from the internet who are never going to see this scene yeah not only that but if there were only a th000 people in that town then a petition is called a vote and that counts yeah do you guys remember remember uh that time that everybody on Facebook changed their Facebook picture and then we cured cancer that was pretty cool yeah and remember that time we got con that was that was impressive as well I'm so glad we got con because we got the likes yeah we got it I'm glad everybody just forgot didn't just forget that he existed yeah and he's still out there in the jungles of Africa kidnapping and raping children I've always wanted to do a uh like a

Luke um I don't think so try it I actually got um when my brother came over to visit a couple of weeks ago I got him to bring me a few bottles of it cuz it's he can't get it's actually British but uh it's it's brown sauce and it's I I guess like barbecue sauce no it's it's more I think it tastes more like what you're describing which is like a must vinegar mustard and vinegar yeah it's like [ __ ] what the that is the worst description for anything what does it taste it tastes like mustard and vinegar you know what I discovered I like recently that I had no idea I liked don't don't snigger Matt it's not going it's I'm not it's not going in the direction you think it's going going on go on no um so in uh oh what would it

have been 1998 1999 I uh I tried sushi for the first time right oh yeah you know I didn't have that [ __ ] growing up but you know in my late teens early 20s living in the city tried Sushi quite liked it uh didn't like Wasabi right thought that [ __ ] was [ __ ] disgusting no man Wasabi's good haven't eaten Wasabi on anything for the last 20 years accidentally ate some when we had sushi this week cuz somebody had gone ahead and put Wasabi on everything yeah um and realized that I uh quite enjoy it and uh don't know where the change happened but uh I've been missing out no I get you I was different I tried it when I was younger I did I like the Wasabi but I didn't like the soy sauce I didn't like soy sauce wow didn't like soy sauce and then tried it again a couple years ago

love it I get uh I get this and I put it in a little little container thingy that they give you and I dump a bunch of soy sauce on it and I smos it all up into like a an improved sauce that does not taste like mustard and vinegar and then I dip my sushi in it and enjoy it's really good that's it's pretty much what I plan to do from now on M yeah I don't know if I put too much soy sauce I thought about this actually the other week when I was eating drown too salt is there a lot of soy is it a salt in soy sauce I know I know when I got old enough that I was worried about that yeah I mean the jewelry deal out on whether salt is actually bad for you in any way so uh you know all right let's just leave it m I have it is well too

much of anything can be bad for you yeah and if you were a slug it'd be very bad oh yeah that's right yeah you should really limit your soul if you're a slug yeah remember that episode of monkey magic where um where they got assult portal over him I'm I don't but speaking of monkey magic uh I went somewhere last weekend that I think is worth noting here now you guys might have seen some snaps I did yes so I I went to a 1930s era theme park here in Singapore that they uh so was that built in the 30s or just it was built in the 30s right and then they revived it in the

80s uh but nobody went to it so they took out all the stuff they added basically put it back to the way it was and now half of it is abandoned and overgrown and half of it you can still just walk in and look around it right and it is a theme park based on traditional Chinese confusion mythology so it's very specific right uh but there's this entire set that is uh of the the monkey magic characters um so uh I was really enjoying that [ __ ] pigy because they're based on uh like like act like mythology but then we

just [ __ ] it up for the for the English audiences or yeah whoever right cuz they just dubbed it over and yeah and I think this is one of those examples of where they didn't even translate the scripts first they just literally got actors to come in and dub yeah yeah right yeah which is not the most respectful I mean they did that with Astro Boy and Transformers and no one was really offended but you know I mean this is this is deeply religious so I don't know I don't know how this went down asro boy fans are a little religious about it sometimes yeah that's true uh they did the same with Matt if you if you ever if you ever come here to Singapore I'm going to take you to this place uh specifically for um what they call the 10 courts of hell

right which is a it's to teach kids uh what happens when you do the wrong thing during your life by graphically graphically illustrating what happens to you in hell sounds fun and it actually has it has like you're you're in this big thing apparently in the 30s you went through it in a boat but um now you just walk through it they've uh they've paved over the uh the Little River um and it's got these kind of immersive uh diaramas that are all around you that are incredibly graphic um and little uh little captions for what gets you what you know like um you know adultery will get you um you know skinned and then boiled you know and then you'll see who determined what the

punishment was uh confucious I believe oh all right yeah as long as they're qualified yes yes yes uniquely qualified um but but crimes varied from you know Murder and rape down to things like disobeying a sibling you want to know what the punishment of for disobeying a sibling is an eternity of being crushed between two Boulders [ __ ] me all right Sarah I hope you're listening it's not Luke's fault that conversation was before the show I think so now I've made a joke that no one's going to understand so never mind wait I thought he was just being General we talking about something specific no no the the it's not my fault

oh right yeah just L claiming it Luke always saying that it's not his fault I'm like did I black out when we were having a discussion where Luke was saying that his sister Sarah disobeys him on a regular basis no no just his his his it's the first thing he says whenever he gets caught doing something yeah speaking of being caught doing something MH is this uh is this an article that we may need to inaugurate our genital news jingle yeah it may be it may be genital news so that's what that was whatever whatever that was is the genital news jingle uh and this is a this is about a gentleman uh at a concert which is I'm sure a situation we've all been in before yeah we've all

been at a concert yep uh and I assume this is at some kind of Concert Hall uh this is this is actually a Metallica show in in in Arizona okay uh so it's probably in a in a very large Arena type y y Concert Hall cuz I'm pretty sure they still play those so uh exactly what you're picturing a lot of people uh M teared teared seating standing up enjoying Metallica for yeah everything they've become lately and and sometimes uh I don't know I'm sure I'm sure you've well you've all probably experienced this you be watching a band and and you're too entertained to to go to the bathroom I'm frequently too entertained to go to the bathroom and the lines are really long well and so you don't want to miss any

of the show yeah so you you do what any other normal person would do and that's just uh piss on the family in front of you yeah although I love the way that this article describes it a 44-year-old man was arrested for allegedly urinating on a 10-year-old girl and her parents what it's that's as if he specifically targeted this girl and you pissed on her parents a bit because because they just happen to be close by just for good measure now Kudos firstly to the parents of this 10-year-old girl who are like yeah you can come to Metallica yeah good point mind you I think the youngest person in Metallica is 50 so you know although I bet they told her are you sure it's a bit rough you know like people can get very loud and boisterous and she was like no I'm

sure it's fine no you got pissed the worse that can happen well it's a lot worse you've heard the stories about what happens sometimes girls in the MH pits and stuff when they come out and they find other fluids on them yeah and it's not Luke's fault everyone but yes they uh they were enjoying the show when they felt warm liquid washing over their backs and legs so see so it's not like he even just sort of tried to oh God I really want to go and tried to sort of duck down and just he just no used him as a urinal apparently he was he was drunk and then when the the father who not named none of the family are named when they turned around and confronted him he just Shrugged yeah uh the father quote observed and now I'll just take this

time to really emphasize this guy's name Daniel Francis Daddyo d a d d i o Daniel Francis Daddyo standing behind them in the row of seats just above theirs with his penis out of his pants and his hands Daniel was urinating on all three of his family members so don't do that I guess that implies there four people including the dad there wasn't this is badly worded on himself and two of his family members right you're not your own family member well maybe there was someone else there no I suppose you're in your own family you're a member of your own family you just got to be well it doesn't actually say there was three of them does there all three of his family members felt maybe they're Mormons maybe

he didn't get pissed on yeah huh maybe the the family were just like what's this warm liquid on our backs and legs and he turned around he's turned around seen it laughed and then his wife's looked at him going fine I'll do something about it yeah um so I will say this though um pissing on an entire family at of Metallica concert is one of the most [ __ ] metal things you can do that's true so you can't really fault the guy for that did you piss on an entire family yeah I was at a Metallica concert oh well rock on Metallica reached for a statement and they said really huh what about yeah that's right yeah they just they just instead of giving us a quote they just did the Texas Longhorn symbol in the

air yeah and then L went [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] buy one of my paintings for $3 million [ __ ] is a word again [ __ ] I would delete that uh just an update uh just cuz I saw an article about it in the sidebar regarding uh Taylor Swift's court case which I mentioned yep yep the judge has dis missed the case of the uh of the DJ who grabbed her on the ass so she doesn't get her $1 no she's been awarded I believe her $1 ah and the guy's been told [ __ ] off pay the $1 and then stop sexually molesting pop stars yeah I've got to actually no he just I don't think that was the the thing he probably just told

to pay the dollar her statements during the uh the trial fantastic by the way I've like obviously uh never met Taylor Swift but have you been following this yeah well I follow a bunch of music websites it's music news uh do we have a Taylor Swift news jingle I know God all right jingle time it's got to sound like a Taylor Swift song [Music] Maddie when uh the judge asked Tay Tay if mu touched her any the point Swift said no he was too busy grabbing my ass to touch anywhere else and then can I just say okay so what has happened here is that a precedent has been set Right Touch Taylor Swift's ass for $1 it cost a

dollar you know what you know what I will pay a dollar and I will give that ass a little grab you know I mean she dates everybody anyway so it's it's going to be our turn eventually she's just working her way down right so we'll able to get our hands on it eventually anyway but I guess you can just jump the queue by just throwing a dollar in to the hat and just having a little grab mu's attorney said suggested that Taylor Swift could have taken a break after the incident Taylor Swift responded your client could have taken a normal photograph with me uh when they said is she critical of her bodyguards for not grabbing him at the time Swift said no I'm critical of your client for sticking his hand on my skirt and grabbing my ass yeah yeah that's fair that's fair

and and to be fair she wasn't going to do anything about it until he sued her right that's exactly right yeah yeah yeah yeah she she uh it happened she said to one of her security guards that guy just grabbed my ass and they said do you want us to do anything and she said no I'll make a call later cuz they thought he was drunk apparently he wasn't drunk and then and then so she was like well then [ __ ] you and oh yeah this is my favorite bit uh when asked if she saw the man grab her ass she said she couldn't exactly see because her asses on the back of her [Music] body yeah these are quite benial questions aren't they yeah yeah she sounds fun well I'll let you know after I get my dollars worth can we call this episode a bucks

worth of Tay Tay oh sure why not it's not the worst name we' we've come up with no it's not doesn't have the word dick in it we got a geek of the week this week oh we do unfortunately we do who geek of the week this week is a man named Haro Nakajima and before you say anything Matt I'm not saying hello to him that's his name y yeah uh he is what did he make he is best known for being the legs of Godzilla oh oh you sound disappointed well I'm sure his parents were disappointed too when they said you going to be a lawyer a doctor an accountant he said no I want to be the legs of Godzilla I'm G to be firstly they were

like what's Godzilla that doesn't exist yet he was like the bottom half of a giant lizard to be fair he was the top half as well as far as I can tell but the most of the shots were just the legs right oh yeah of him like smashing through the city I just assumed they got a different person to play Godzilla every time no no played him in FMS over 18 years yeah a different person might have might have not captured the character as well well he actually did a lot of research um he uh he went to the how can you research an animal that doesn't exist he he based his uh walk on he watched his own movies and remembered what he did and did that again no he uh he based the initial gate on an elephant mhm oh there you go yeah used to go to the zoo uh but then he also makes this uh kind

of troubling troubling comment quote without the training my body received in the Navy I wouldn't have been able to do it so is you referring to working walking bowlegged I assume that's what he means but just the phrase the training my body received in the Navy considering heard what they [ __ ] do out there I assume it's not comfortable uh getting around in one of the those suits no but he has said thought you got to talk about the training in the Navy but he has come out and said that it was uncomfortable uh and that some takes could last up to 7 Seconds which I would argue is not actually that long to be uncomfortable for not I've been uncomfortable for longer than

that yeah yeah he also said that um in Japan I've made people uncomfortable for longer than that apparently being an actor in Japan is actually quite a uh it's an okay um you know it's an honorable profession to have um but only if your face is shown so he was uh shunned even within the community even by the other actors in the films that he was in because he was a a suit actor but they actually a lot of the Japanese stuff is Suits isn't it like with masks and stuff yeah but not the respectable jobs hold on other than characters in Godzilla movies site me one example Power Rangers all right fair enough well Haru

Nakajima you are a geek of the week I said that really slowly so I could find the jingle and I still didn't find it in [Music] time do we want to stay in Asia for some Asian news well you're there we might as well yeah I mean all that we just got news here um but I did see a very interesting article this week about a Chinese restaurant uh or as they call it in China a restaurant um that slogan is the bigger your tits the less you pay and there's actually a chart out the front that has the cup size and the corresponding price wow so um is is there a reason behind it or is it just that's the reason behind it what more reason do you need what

more reason could there be I don't know I was trying to think that maybe seeing the good in someone but no no no no no no no so uh it's the guy likes tits yeah yeah so for a for a set meal an A cup will set you back uh 91 uh for a gcup you're looking at about 350 so it's a considerable difference what is what are the what is the currency called it's called a one so the the the poster for this is also a little bit there's just a lot of opinion in it like not only do the tits get bigger um next to the prices but the women are also just uglier at at the a cup level and getting successfully more beautiful and voluptuous as they go along so yeah it is a little you know cuz the one on the left looks like like a a child almost and

a stupid enough idea to get a movie made maybe that's what it is I don't know man I've come up with some stupid ideas oh yeah but even like they want to release it in 2019 like that's the fidget spin cat is already over it's it's like they just sat there and they're like looking around the room what can we make a movie about oh yeah fidget Spinners [ __ ] genius what you what is so confused it isn't anything I don't know I have a couple I just don't get them well I've got them apparently you do get them yeah apparently I don't have one we raced them at work you mean you RAC how you can go for the longest oh oh like you just spin it and see when it stop we timed them right yeah we just all put them on the table we get a stop watch out and then we them and see who

goes the longest in other words there is very little to do at your work on a day-to-day in CA they have a weekly Meetup all of the can yeah finally found some a hobby y just head that yep head out to the local sports Hall and we watch fidget Spinners on a table down to fidget Stadium piss on a family oh I kind of wish that was the end just because that's such a great line to go out on I've been playing uh I've been playing some video games this week again yeah are you still playing games yeah I well I've been playing some more Wolfenstein man I really like it okay I don't I mean I'm you're allowed to like it no no I it's not I know that I'm just

confu I'm just I want to know I want to know why Dan didn't I'm I'm just I'm interested I also don't like it really okay fair enough just never captivated me to the point where I couldn't even remember if I'd even played it yeah okay and that's not a good sign I'm having fun with it but CU did you get to the bit where it's like you know the Nazis won the war and everything and they've taken over the world and now you're part of the resistance yeah yeah and I thought that was a that's a great premise the game set in the' 60s if the nais won the war in the 40s and how the world has changed during that time uh which is why I bought this game as soon as it came out because that sounds fascinating to me but it just felt like just a really

basic run-of-the-mill shooter within that pretty cool premise and it just couldn't well it sounds cool but it also didn't really feel like you were in the 60s and it was just felt like a war movie right yeah yeah fair enough also I was I was uh you do break out of a prison in it it's just it's not the first thing that you do which is why I um right got confused because I loaded up the game after you know doing the episode the other week and then I was like oh wait a minute I did break out of a prison I just forgot that that was because that wasn't the start ah well I clearly forgot everything came before that yeah there you go but the other game I've been playing uh and I'm kind of uh I've transitioned into playing this exclusively now because I'm enjoying it

so much is um the second DSX game mankind divided and I don't know why it took me so long to play this because the first one uh it was [ __ ] awesome and it's basically everything that I like in a video game so yeah I don't know why it took so long it's uh they CED a lot of flack for some of their marketing if you recall because they they were using the slogan the mechanical apartheid if you recall because it's about uh I did you guys play the first one not not the first dayx I mean the the uh was yeah Human Revolution yeah uh I started playing it I'll be honest it was a little tough and I kind of got sick of getting killed by Bosses and so I stopped oh yeah that's the boss has

killed it for me as well that's right we did we had a talk we had a conversation about this the other week I think well this one it's said after the events of the first one so sorry if it's a spoiler but uh in the first one there signal gets sent out to all the augmented people they all have this kind of uh code implanted in them surreptitiously and the signal goes out and they all kind of go crazy and attack everybody and and uh that all gets resolved but then now people don't trust the augmented humans and so I can understand that Society is split into augs and uh normals kind of and it's uh they CED a lot of [ __ ] for the marketing but it's kind of that is how it's set up

in the game it's like you know like apar South Africa and you've got like separate lines for augmented people versus you know you know normal people okay so it was actually completely in context exactly yeah yeah and people that didn't understand the context were offended that's literally what they were going for it wasn't just a marketing PL that's that's kind of the game is like a you know it's like a take on that kind of like how District 9 was with the alens yeah and uh yeah and so you're that's the world that you're in now and you play as Adam Jensen again and he's uh I'm going to have to give it in it's really good the only problem I have with it on the Xbox one is that uh because the the game world is like big like there's [ __ ] so much stuff to do uh

that I was kind of like overwhelmed at first uh and it's the the visuals are very good except the frame rate isn't great because of that I think oh so it took him it I mean it's not that bad but you get used to stat and you just move past the difference is the problem is I played Wolfenstein and then I played it and the the frame rate in Wolfenstein is like silky smooth and then I switched to this and Visually it looks better but it like jumps more so but then I think Skyrim is the same so if you're okay with Skyrim on the Xbox I think it's the same and honestly it it's so far it's fantastic it's like it's a really good game I recommend it I don't know why it took me so long to play it like I've even I've owned it for months never it's on my list to play

well remember last week how I spent that $100 on a gift card for Xbox Live the US one well I spent all that and brought about 10 games mhm mhm haven't played one of them 10 games for $100 is not bad yeah yeah they're not good games no clearly but I hear you're still playing clicker Wars I cannot stop what is clicker Wars It's clicker Heroes it's click Heroes Matt it's a free game go and download it on the Xbox One straight after this all you do is you start off and you got to click a lot to make money and then you buy Heroes that go and can do damage when you're not clicking and that's the game sounds stupid is this like that uh remember that there's an iOS game that that got really popular somehow it was called Bitcoin

billionaire and you just tap the screen to M Bitcoins and then that's all it isy it was a game about virtual Bitcoin it was it literally the game was it was like a little cartoon man sat on a computer but you don't get Bitcoin from it no you just get points oh my God and then you just tap the screen and then like at the faster you tap the more Bitcoins he mines and unless I missed something that was the whole [ __ ] game well that is this whole game all right sounds [ __ ] and there is but you get achievements stop playing it um no the achievements are actually really hard to get as well so you're not even getting achievements and you hundreds of hours away from getting another achievement in this game so why are you playing it I

can't stop I have a problem jeez all right time for an intervention one of them is to get up to level 3,600 and what level are you now um I'm struggling but the way the game works is you level up and then you ascend which is you reset back to level one but you've got extra power so you can level up faster but I'm only up to about level um 900 okay and I've been playing it 3 weeks straight this is your life now you just what you just hit the hit the button well no that's the thing I actually just let the game Run and then I just I'll watch YouTube or Netflix and then I'll just log back in check it sounds like a [ __ ] amazing game spend some money rearrange some

stuff and then I'll go back to watching and then I'll check back in another 15 minutes half an hour it sounds like that uh which is I think it's I don't think it's Skyrim I think maybe it's Oblivion there's one of those one of the Elder Scrolls games where if you want to level up you would you go jump into some water and then swim against the wall and put like an elastic band on the controller just to keep swimming against the wall and then just put the controller down I think it was some Morrow wind or something Morrow wind all right and then you just go and do something else while you level up yeah and Skyrim it was the uh iron daggers you just make iron daggers constantly yeah but and you spent a lot of time just jumping everywhere yep in Morrow wind yes yeah you level up your

acrobatics morrowwind was a great game yeah it was anyway plenty games Dan um no not really there you go all right what have you been doing I watched a couple of movies this week interesting uh let me let me go down a quick list of movies I watch this week I watched quite a few uh new Planet of the Apes oh yeah I haven't seen any of those the new ones are you serious I yeah I hear they're good I just oh mate they're excellent with the exception of this one which is not that it's not good it's just that it's exactly the same as the previous one oh all right right there's only so much you can do with Apes versus Humans although they did insert a lot into this one to tie in with the original 1960s on

so just kind of making sure it all joins up together so I don't know if they're going to remake them or whether they just want them to have continuity but uh it got a young Charon hon in there it doesn't have a young Charon hon but it does have a young Nova and it does have a young Cornelius so okay yeah all right yeah they so explain away Why the humans can't talk in the original plan of the Apes huh all right yeah yeah we just assumed when we watched the movie that that was an evolutionary thing uh no it's a virus huh they're good they're good movies the last one was really excellent and this one would have been just as good if the last one didn't exist but it was just more of the same so it was a bit disappointing for

me um one thing that I did watch just to follow up from last week is I downloaded the old Casino Royale that we talked about now I'm not all the way through this CU quite honestly it's it's actually quite hard to watch um it is it is so silly it is so [ __ ] silly um but it's not not funny I've I've chuckled okay I haven't got up to the part where David PR is in it or Aon worlds yet but ah prin champ but the premise is good the premise is that James Bond was a super spy as he as he was um and that uh when he retired rather than admit to the world that James Bond was not you know

there anymore and they don't need to fear him anymore they just started calling another agent James Bond and they keep passing that name on so that there's always a James Bond so for a movie made in the 60s when there only was one James Bond it's kind of interesting cuz that kind of is what happened yeah yeah the dread pirate Roberts exactly exactly right H and the last thing I watched which I watched uh yesterday uh which I said I was going to do which is I rewatched Batman v Superman right the extended version or the uh standard the extended version do you guys remember how much I liked this movie and how much I defended this movie did you yes I should have just I should have just left it how it was in my mind a bad movie dan oh it's so bad it

is so bad now I'll say this anytime uh Ben Affleck is on screen I'm happy right anytime just in life yeah anytime no but in this anytime Ben Affleck is playing either Bruce Wayne or Batman and Jeremy Irons is playing Alfred I'm [ __ ] right so I will I will watch a Batman stand alone even if [ __ ] Zack Snider is [ __ ] raping it or whatever like I still Matt Rees is directing it well Matt Reeves is is pretty good so he's got my blessing but anytime [ __ ] Clark Kent or Lois Lane or Lex Luther it it is the worst movie ever yeah I I didn't like it at all no

no I wanted to I was like I tried really hard which is I think I wanted to like it a lot and and yeah I think you might have been lying to yourself a little bit yeah yeah it's not it's not good guys I just I'm the tone of them is is just not good and I I mean all the Justice League stuff that I've seen I just don't I don't want to I don't want to watch it like I know I will watch it because we're going to have to discuss it but I don't want to watch it no same I I would watch I would watch a Batman obviously and I would watch I would watch another Wonder Woman if it was directed by somebody else uh because I think she's a good character I think G does a good job I just think that that was awfully

scripted and and terribly directed movie but like I literally have no no interest in watching Aquaman other than it's James Juan I'm that's the one of the most interesting just because I'm like Curious what about cyborg cyborg do you remember cybor cameo in Batman B Superman yeah just when they're looking through like it looked so bad yeah [ __ ] it looked like a television yeah it looked like an episode Warehouse 13 or something yes yeah and Flash visiting Batman from the future well yeah they didn't explain that at all and you know what I in my head that sequence that I guess is what flash is telling Batman second time through I'm like okay that that's

what flash has come in back in time because he can do that because he can go really fast and go back in time um created himself by doing that if you if you know the comics but uh he comes back tells Batman this whole [ __ ] about in the future you'll be fighting in the desert in a trench coat fighting Superman's armies uh and then he realizes in the movie that he's come back too far back in time and that his whole story is out of context um which is ironic because it really is to the viewer as well yeah yeah yeah stupid movie yeah it was stupid when's it coming out is it next year Justice League uh yeah I think so right well I mean they're still filming it so it's not coming out oh yeah

they've been doing re-shoot apparently they changed the tone of uh of it quite a bit sh a new ending I heard as well really still says 2017 uh but I don't know when November 16th 2017 well are we also getting a Batgirl yeah apparently are we just just is yeah just J Sweden yeah he's doing a badir as well okay right which I think that could be interesting I wouldn't mind seeing Josh's take on it well I know we're going to see his take on the Justice League but we've seen is take I think he'll get a bit more various other comic book movies but don't worry guys Justice League is uh written by this by the writer of Batman v Superman so if you uh oh good if you like plot twist like the

Martha scene uh then then you'll uh you why did you say Martha oh we're friends now I don't I look I understand people like Batman and Superman and stuff but I don't I just don't understand when people are like no no no it is a good movie no it's not it's a terrible movie if you like it that's fine but come on guys it's not good that I'm like that with Wonder Woman you know I love bad movies and if you like Wonder Woman for what it is knock your [ __ ] out but it is a terrible movie and Batman Superman is a terrible movie I didn't like either of them I liked bits of Wonder Woman but overall I like I have no desire to watch that ever again I thought it was I'll say this though they must they must have either filmed a lot of that or planned

it out pretty good because like her sequences in Batman B Superman uh you know tieing pretty directly no I I read an article about how they went a lot of effort to recreate cuz there's a photo in yeah Batman vers Superman they actually went to a lot of effort to recreate that they had to oh I see so that was just basically a a nonse right and then they buil that in oh okay that makes sense that makes sense because watching it knowing about that photo and knowing it's a sequence from the film I thought oh [ __ ] they must have already shot that before they even got to here yeah no apparently they yeah it took a bit of effort to get it to to be the same I forget the details I read I I

read it and I was like I don't care yeah I guess I guess I'm just a Marvel Fanboy well I'm really enjoying going through the marbles oh yeah you still going yeah still going uh got some good ones behind me some good ones ahead uh but did you guys see that um Tao white has come out this week and said that um when Thor Ragnarok comes out he's going to do a version where he revic all the characters with sing New Zealand accents all right I'm I'm down for that yeah this movie going to be on the DVD this movie's going to be so weird I don't understand but I'm I'm on board movie is weird I'm on board 100% but I have no idea what it is so weird so

weird did you uh Chris Hemsworth just reminded me of this did you watch the new red letter media review pinket has reviewed the 2016 Ghostbusters oh has he see I'll be very intering to watch that not just because I love those guys and I love their reviews but because I have no interest in ever seeing the film and this this will at least tell me what was in it it kind of does I got to say it's the most so rather the least I think well handled review like it's I thought it was funny and it did point out you know a lot of issues with the film but it wasn't as constructive as some of his others have been well I think that so the the strength with those guys review is that they point out dumb things about good movies that you didn't see right uh

whereas just pointing out listing the dumb things in an absolutely stupid movie is probably not really surprising anyone yeah yeah no they did a few good points though and uh and I like I haven't seen the 2016 Ghostbusters I don't think I I might watch it at some point just because but it just looks just looks really bad yeah I don't I don't have much desire to watch it I thought it looked bad from the first trailer and uh so far no one's convinced me otherwise anyway yeah review is interesting it's pinket so it's full of immature humor and uh and not really polit politically correct well you won't be able to watch any of those Marvel movies on Netflix pretty soon if you

were I don't know if you can in your country but we have them on there here but not for long we've got them here Disney I don't know cuz I'll be honest I just went to Italy for them without even checking H well Disney's changed its mind on the uh on the contract and it's going to start its own streaming service which is stupid and annoying that's getting there's too many I know they're gonna like it's going to be like ah no one wants to pay for anything anymore no just [ __ ] stop double dipping you [ __ ] like you you need a few so there's competition and stuff but yeah not that many if you're all going to go and create your own we're going to stop paying for them like what don't you understand like I'm not paying $10 a month to like a hundred things I'll pay

$10 a month to one or two I already subscribed to three I've got Amazon cuz I have Prime so I get Amazon with it as well I don't even get everything on Amazon with prime I don't think only certain things I've got Netflix well I will say this if you get Amazon Prime you can watch the tail job oh I I can and I I everybody at my work's been watching it so they uh they often yell fisting at me randomly fingering which is fun fisting as well yeah I don't want to I don't want to pay for another one I've got Netflix Stan and Amazon Disney doesn't have enough stuff that I'm going to pay monthly for it like I'm not going to watch Disney movies exclusively you know well that's the thing like apart

from like Star Wars and Marvel there's nothing really that from Disney for me I don't think no and I mean those movies like I've got Rogue one on on Blu-Ray now oh did we talk about this how um cuz you know we've discussed in the past which platform right I I didn't know which platform I was going to go on now so I just um when bu a Disney this is thing Disney well you buy a Disney movie you get Disney movies anywhere which is an online thing you go in you put your code in and it unlocks it on all platforms and you get the Blu-ray and the DVD oh wow so I have Rogue one on Blu-ray and DVD and I also have it on iTunes and Google and Amazon

and everywhere what about Microsoft yes what we've always discussed as being the best case scenario that once you've bought the right to watch it you have the right to watch it regardless of platform okay so you go to so I'm glad that some listener of this uh podcast has uh taken our advice on board yep Walt Disney but yeah so that's Michael I'm I'm now happy to buy uh Disney movies on on Blu-ray as long as it's one of those so I was going to get Guardians and Guardians 2 in that format because I know I've said this before like I with special features like behind the scenes and commentary I prefer to put a disc in for that and I don't know why that just feels like I'm going to sit down to watch that some of them you can't you

don't get the commentary anyway for example example Guardians volume one you don't get commentary if you don't buy the disc well that's what I mean like yeah I want on the disc anyway but I still when I'm sitting down to just watch a movie I just I'm lazy and I just want to push a button you nah so yeah I might have to start buying some yeah discs again pretty pretty good deal I was uh I I bought Rogue one because I wanted to test it and I was like well if I buy Rogue one at least I'm going to watch it yeah because I I want to rewatch it and then I got I think watch that again soon it's great registered and everything and then a couple of days later Netflix put Rogue one

on you [ __ ] bastards but long no you don't get any of the bonus stuff so I think Netflix need to change how they're doing some stuff I think they need to stop when they make their own shows I think they need to stop putting it all on there in one go really I think binging is the thing now you've got to binge watch things you're not allowed to just watch things week to week anymore well it giv people but no people still do watch things week to week like people actually not if I can Game of Thrones for that we were talking about this the other day her [ __ ] it's cuz you have to if Game of Thrones all came out on one day everyone would watch it on one day I don't know if we talked about it on here but with Twin

Peaks right I feel like if you watching Twin Peaks like binge watching it I don't think you would get as much out of it because For Me part of the my enjoyment of it so far is because talking about it but yeah I think that that the bin watching you lose that I don't understand like so I think they should maybe go back to the maybe not weekly twice a week when they've got a new show coming out so you can still have that you got to tune in every week to catch up and then you've got time to think about it talk about it and then for the People Like Us who just want to Bing you can just watch it at the end I think they'll get more subscribers if they did it that way cuz people do at the moment is sign up for a free subscription binge watch and then go

away oh basically what you're saying is you want to make sure nobody else is seen stuff you haven't like otherwise it's going to otherwise the whole system breaks down cuz I was going to say you don't have to watch it all at the same time you could just spread it out but then if someone else does they'll spoil it or whatever yeah well that's the toggle the platform that my series lives spam uh premiered on this week um can I watch that no you can't no you can't can't geolock to Singapore but uh the I can uh I can get around that yeah give it a go toggle LIF spam but uh if you want to watch it for free you can watch a new episode every Wednesday uh and if you want to watch them all at once you uh can subscribe and then you

can uh you can binge on it did you get a cut of those funds no no I didn't even get paid extra from just my normal wage to make the [ __ ] show so yeah no points on the back end of this one that's for sure you did get to make a TV show though that's pretty cool yeah yeah I'll say this though the uh Singapore sensors certainly like to cut stuff out of my show it seems to be a personal hobby for them just removing jokes from do you uh do you have will there be an uncut version of it available that's I don't it's it' be a lot of effort to do that for something that no to go back and remove them yeah exactly right so right
