welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy this week I'm going to start things off a little bit differently okay normally I just try and come up with a random comment or something but this week I'm going to send out a congratulation okay thanks I appreciate it well not to you oh oh to congratulate Bridget and Brad okay on getting engaged oh congratulations know Bridget from my wedding from such event as my wedding cool my wedding yes it's my sister-in-law so congratulations guys I do remember her of course and I know Brad is a listener so that's why I thought I would send it out on here oh

well congratulations guys that's awesome now because of that I didn't actually think of anything else to say after that well I'm excited actually uh cuz I've been waiting all week uh unfortunately as as listeners may have noticed uh Dan is not here this week he's had to rush off and do something be an adult yeah he had to go do something important I'm excited because I can't wait to hear what you thought of [ __ ] fighter uh yeah I wasn't able to find a copy oh I tried I honestly tried I think I'm going to have to finally give up and my computer's going to have to go to Italy I've been trying to keep the computer safe but I'll take it itly next week is it got Windows 10 on it yes Windows scares me there's so many dodgy things

for Windows that just they don't seem to have for Mac so like whenever I'm on a Windows machine I'm like oh man this thing's filthy like it could have all sorts of like evil little things on it I will say I think Windows 10 I am liking it okay like I remember with old windows um after a while your computer it starts to run slow yeah yeah I know wi 10 does not seem to be running into that issue from what I found anyway you remember back when when we were you know teenagers we were in high school and stuff and we used to have land parties and we would God they were fun yeah and B well basically you just used to format the machine before every land party cuz it was just easier yeah because you needed the performance for when you know playing Quake

2 oh that that that's depressing you need a performance to play quake I know Quake 2 and then when Quake Quake 3 Arena came out actually we I think we stopped having land Parties By the time Quake 3 came out no no I was still going to them uh Sydney Gamers League SGL remember them I think they're still around actually size I'm just trying to work at how big Quake 2 size was uh my computer that I had around that point remember when um what was the game that sin remember that game oh yes yeah and and my computer could barely run it and I think that was just before Quake 2 actually that might even after go I don't remember remember cuz Dave had a to scene was after cuz they've had a 3D effects card which was like I still have that card [ __ ] blew my mind yeah I

had that card for a little while everybody had that everyone's had that card it's the slot it's the one that you had to plug your normal video card into and then it like it would put 3D on it somehow and somehow it would also click it would click you remember that when it used to flip over it would click it make noise but you have yes but there was no moving Parts on it what was clicking That's The Power of 3D all right um I have to I'm I'm nearly there I'm on Wikipedia I'm typing in size except I can't find it on there there we go quake 2 on Steam I can see the size of the game install I suppose can I maybe no no it's got some good reviews I found that there's a two Cals

download and the file size is 5.7 Meg that can't be right it might be it could be system requirements H just a computer now you need to have Windows I remember when it came out my computer couldn't run it yeah 1997 that takes me back hey speaking of 1997 20 years ago I went to a show last night oh you did yeah how how was it it was fantastic I went and saw Nancy Vandal play that album in full the debriefing room which was released 21 years ago wow I feel old that's your favorite band is it yes my favorite band they sung all the greats like egg sandwich and I want to

be a gladiator y yeah they did a lot of uh songs that were just based off things from The Simpsons if I recall like Mount splashmore mhm yep and uh sleep that's where I'm a viking I think was one of theirs yes that's another one of theirs yep yep I remember Nancy bandal they were very popular in penth maybe nowhere else in the world you could say Sydney yeah Sydney I know I'm just being fous I just remember they used to play they used to play awful lot in penth yep so this was sort of like the original lineup so this sort of had Jay from friend of ROM there oh huh cuz he's the original bass player I didn't know that actually I I mean I'm only familiar with Fox trosky the singer so I was talking to him last night MH and

he's going to design a tattoo for me that's pretty cool so I just have to email him and go cuz I want a Nancy Vandal tattoo sure decid and I'm going to go just going to go to him email him go look oh like color go for it what if he just sends you a picture of a dick what if he just draws a dick and sends that to you will you get will you get that tto on you probably not interesting I still want to like what's going on me but I just want to go like you design it and then once I get it back well there might be some can you change something or okay going give him full artistic license to start with but we'll see what happens with what I get put on me okay um we have some some I was going to say dick news but it's genital news now we've changed it to make it more

inclusive uh um so I'll play the jingle genital news and this week this week's genital news uh comes to us from Netflix so people of parents in particular are very upset because uh there's a Netflix television series for kids it's a cartoon series for kids it's called Maya the be are you familiar with it cuz I'm not no no well I am now but I wasn't for and in an episode of Maya the be uh episode 35 of season 1 at 18 minutes and 45 seconds um this episode has been pulled from YouTube from from Netflix now uh because of this but uh at

18 minutes 45 seconds inside a log on the screen which and you can see a screenshot of this if you click on the article there is a dick someone has drawn a dick and balls and it is like it's a dick and balls there can be no mistaking it I think you'll agree yeah it is it's a dick and balls but it's sort of like it's I feel bad because I know what they're trying to do like it was this is something Disney's been doing forever sneaking stuff in that's where this article goes but I don't know that they have like oh they have they I okay we can talk about the examples that they gave uh CU there's one in particular that that I always I'm always like really that's that's really like a subversive thing you think Disney was trying to do but yes so they pulled uh

they pulled the episode uh because of the dick and uh I guess someone's someone's going to be in trouble over that but the article says uh just this wording made me laugh the Netflix penis drawing isn't an isolated incident I mean it kind of is cuz all the other examples are from like 20 years ago yeah so I mean in this case it is it is isolated there aren't dicks all live Netflix no not in Children's shows there are in other shows presumably so what current day cartoons tend to do is not put the drawingink in they try and throw like adult jokes in right so okay the examples that we have here uh and we'll go through them and and like there's not that many of them it's not like this happens all the time unless there are unless there are other examples uh if we

miss something podcast at multi orgasm.com I am actually interested to see if Disney did do this more or I I don't know some of these are like I'm skeptical about some of these like which one okay well the very first one is that appar this has never been shown to the public this was just this is just an anecdote that apparently uh in the 50s they slipped a single frame of a naked woman into a reel of Mickey Mouse a cartoon that they were screening just for Walt Disney and he spotted it and then that's the end of that story like it never got made I don't think that one counts no does not do in The Rescuers in the video release apparently in 1999 there is a topless

woman in two frames of the video and presumably it was in the film originally I guess uh because you you can't see it at all if you're just watching the movie like it's not possible for the human eye to to pick up on it it's just two frames and it's in very far in the background uh but if you freeze frame the the video you can see that there's a topless woman in a window and not not true not like a cartoon one photo yeah yeah that is true yep and they actually recalled the videotapes at the time but that see that's also a bad idea because recalling it means people are definitely going to know there's something up and OD most people would who discovered that like

well that's the cuz that's the thing like back then then you saw you didn't watch rewatch movies over and over and over like we do today sure so they could sneak stuff like that in because it would be missed I certainly rewatched the Labyrinth and some other films over and over again so maybe some kid was watching The Rescuers over and over and then paused it and then their dad was like what the Yeah but with this one like this with the current one with that be thing they can't they should have known that they can't get away with that no yeah that was that was foolish and it makes you wonder like did some artist sneak that in there and nobody noticed like cuz it seems fairly obvious to me unless the screenshot has been like zoomed and enhanced uh which

is difficult to to tell like the screenshot looks like this is like this would be fairly large on the television like I don't know how You' miss this but this could be zoomed and cropped for all I know yeah this this penis oh look the rest of these Disney ones uh I question for example uh allegedly there is a penis in on the VHS cover of The Little Mermaid I mean that just looks like part of the castle I think it's a coincidence yeah that one's a bit of a two and throw it could be it might not be it yeah I'm I'm I'm pretty sure that's just a accidental um The Little Mermaid erection uh I watched this video and I think it's just supposed to be his knee and uh and enough people pointed out clearly though that it was removed in later versions of The Little Mermaid y

so I mean I don't think I think it was supposed to be I think it was probably just removed because people were maybe thinking it was I don't actually think it was I people were just trying to read into that one there's a priest in this scene in The Little Mermaid I actually never I've never seen The Little Mermaid so I don't have any context for the scene uh running and complain about how I'm a horrible person podcast at multi orgasm.com never seen Little Mermaid I don't like it because it doesn't follow the original story she lives at the end yeah she doesn't turn into like salty SE spray at the end yep yeah it looks like it's this knee to me cuz I don't understand why they would draw a priest with a boner in a in a Disney film I just don't understand why they would do

that so obviously seemingly enough people thought it was an erection that they have removed it from the film and it's just just not there anymore uh and you can see that in the in the video they show the the difference and then this one I think is the stupidest and I've known about this since I was a kid now I'm like what and that's the uh the word sex appearing in The Lion King some of this stuff we'll never actually know the the actual story for this is apparently it's sfx if you look on Snopes you'll find that this is uh simply a legend uh the letters were slipped in by a special effects group to form the abbreviation sfx and then for some reason people thought that Disney wanted to put the word sex in like why

but people just like to try and force stuff in just that sounds wrong when we're talking about sex yeah I don't know so I'm skeptical about the Lion King on just because I don't I don't know I don't know why people think that they would want to put the word sex so blatantly in in The Lion King but then again you know someone put a penis in in Maya the be so possible but also the word sex come on guys like that's not being subtle like a like child snuck into the Disney offices and managed to animate the word sex like but also we got to look at like when they just put in an actual picture of a woman in breing that's not being subtle either no but that but the word sex like like a

gr grown grown adults found were like and like put the word sex in like come on guys I would laugh I don't know think it's weird also I love that when you type on Snopes it's the title is sex in The Lion King so that's General news for this well yeah that's General news for this week it is yeah it seems that Instagram they must have some kind of Auto advertising thing where they take uh I guess images that have been engaging and make ads out of them and so which yeah I can see so they're actually not using fake ones they're using real yeah so in case you're wondering if if they do if they do take your photos and use them to advertise things yeah they do but this week uh a reporter actually

uh Olivia Solen from the guardian noticed that Instagram had created an advertisement using one of her most highly engaging photos uh which if you click through to it is actually a screenshot of a rape threat email that she received mhm the subject line this and and literally the image is just a screenshot of the email there's nothing else in the image it's just a screenshot of an email subject line Olivia you [ __ ] [ __ ] I will rape you before I kill you you filthy [ __ ] Instagram now so my thing is I don't have a problem with the ad I have a problem that that someone's actually able to send that to begin with so you don't okay okay let's unpack that so you you you think it's fine for them to use

that as advertising sums up Instagram really doesn't it well not the fact that using I don't think it's fun I think it's good that actually brings it to light more so that people are still that's what they're using it for sure like and that that shouldn't be happening well they're not using Instagram for that someone sent her an email but you think how would they stop people from sending emails like that though I don't know they need to stop somehow people need to be held accountable I hate the people being anonymous well uh we've talked about this before yeah I think I I I I know what you mean it would be nice if people didn't send horrible things like that to other people but also you can't force people I think universally to not be

anonymous because being anonymous is is a very powerful and helpful thing for people who aren't in the same situation we are yeah but the problem is is people who are doing this stuff do are in that situation that's true but then yeah like I said we're we're we we're in Fairly you know a priv situation over here I mean you know I'm here in America you're in in Australia we're fine we're we're far from Anonymous on the internet doing this show everyone if you want to know who we are you can find us pretty easy yeah but we're not but yeah I'm I'm never going to be sending rape threats a you sent me a couple buddy oh wait no that's not really a threat is it that's just it's not a threat it was just a heads up yeah fair enough I'll be seeing you soon yeah see you later

on yeah and then one one time you just showed up in New York didn't even get a warning no yeah I know what you mean uh but I do think maybe they should get someone to vet these ads uh yeah that they need to work on the algorithm well that that's the problem right it's an image so the algorithm I guess can't really even tell what the image is of although I guess Facebook they can yeah they probably can OC that yeah optical character recognition I think CU they maybe just focused on image they might need to try and bring word search into their algorithm as well yeah and just put on a few things that if it contains the word rape and kill you maybe we won't use this one yeah maybe really that that image should have set off some flags on Instagram in the

first place yes uh however that raises the question of how they would know to flag it which means that they would have to be actually I don't think that one should have been flagged on in that's fine to put up there okay cuz it's not her saying that to someone this is her exposing the types of messages that she receives just because she's her yeah I think she was doing an article on cyber bullying I believe and so and everyone's response was to actually just bully her and yeah fun times on the internet I was going through the old episodes as we were uh switching over to the new host uh and I found one where I had challenged the listeners to Cy cyber buly me and I'm proud to say that our listeners uh

never did so good job listeners don't say a believe yeah but how what episode would that have been in h i don't know under a 100 somewhere yeah so that's when we had maybe like 20 now you bringing it up again we've got a few more Bring it on Bring it on no I I think I could actually handle the bullying because I think I can just switch it off I don't care about social media so much not I don't care about it I'm just not very good at it and so I it would be very easy for me to just be like you know what [ __ ] it I'm I'm done with it well for me it'd be someone was post something well I'll just block you and then just move on yeah but although I don't know how I would go if someone was constantly doing it in the second I block them there's another account

they're doing it yeah sure let's let's not find out just bully mat well whoa whoa I can't believe you'd say that Luke I'm going to report you to Instagram okay so you going to contact Instagram and go on our podcast I bullied you yeah and I'm going to get our our own account banned even though I didn't actually post on our Instagram y exactly right okay yep we have a geek of the week but it's a video game and it's not actually dead yet but it is on its way out I just I actually didn't mind this game I haven't played it because it's on PC only we're talking about battleborn by no this is on Xbox one as well uh this battleborn by um by uh gearbox uh Randy pitchford's company uh the reason I haven't played is cuz I have it on PC but I don't have a PC they gave us a

copy of it at PA and uh and I don't have a PC so that's why I haven't played it y it's actually a shame it's it is a good game and I it is it's more of a multiplayer game but it's not PVP it's like OverWatch right you team up and well no because OverWatch you're just playing against the other team this one you sort of from what I played of it you sort of team up with people and you play through like a level like oh okay and I found am I or am I thinking of a different game I don't know I don't know let me just do let me fact check yourself yes oh no no no it is maybe I just didn't play it right I only played it once you playing it wrong you thought you were

like the goal is one thing and everyone's like what's the [ __ ] idiot doing well I only played by myself because I don't like playing with people right you don't mind playing with me well you're not people oh you're map I can't believe you dehumanize me I'm going to tell Instagram well no I'm not the human what I'm saying is people as in just general people who I don't know you're not a someone I don't know you're Matt yeah that's true I am Matt confirmed you punched me in elevators yep I don't punch I beat you with your own walking stick only because you deserve it yes always but yeah so they they've just done one last final update to this game and then they're going it's just not

working yeah so they're going to leave it up uh I saw Randy Pitchford tweeted this week that they're going to leave it up as long as so it'll probably be up for a couple of years there's always a single player and I think they'll just keep it up as long as there's like a decent amount of people playing Yeah Yeah well yeah as long as long as people using it and as long as they can afford to without it being silly they'll leave the servers up but there's not going to be any more updates so y yeah no I just came out of sort of a bad time cuz OverWatch just everyone loves that game I I tried OverWatch I just don't I don't know I think I'm just not into that style of game at all I just really don't get it it's not not for me it's something I don't like Shooters even as

I've discovered recently I really enjoyed doom and I enjoyed the new Wolfenstein games I think maybe I just don't like multiplayer Shooters yeah I struggle with multiplayer especially but with OverWatch there's also a lot of strategy to it right like it's not just jumping into a game and everyone's the same sort of character you run around shoot this is you need to have your healer and your other classes I don't know what they are but I know you need a healer healer and a shooter and and then you support the Healer then you got to do your alts and yeah I just not for me yeah no fair enough me either it's such a shame I do want there are so many times where I'll watch I'll watch something on YouTube and I go I want to

play this like GTA online or mhm and then I go but there's no one to play with I have GTA 5 Matt left me I know we just need to find a crossover time and I don't know like it's hard to schedule times to do things but I think we actually just need to schedule times otherwise it's not going to happen like I really think we should try and aim for like one weekend a month yeah let's do it let's play some I got GTA 5 let's place of GTA online let's all right we could even we got we've got a multiple nerdgasm Xbox group thing whatever it is you know listeners can join in too yeah let all play I I have I I am a c I can't afford any do any of the missions for it yet but what does that mean I'm working on it well I don't know what you're talking about the

online of GTA is actually quite a lot to it where you buy money to turn yourself into a motorcycle gang or a company and you get extra missions and stuff like this you have to buy money to turn yourself into a motorcycle gang no you earn money and then you spend the money to like buy your monor gangs hang out and stuff okay interesting I have not played it at all I've barely played the actual game cuz I'm an idiot and I buy games and don't play them the I buy Steam games and don't play them Xbox games I still have a lot that I haven't played but I will eventually get to them because achievements yeah I don't know I'm I worry that I'm not going to be able to finish anything there games I love that I'm like I'm really enjoying prey at the moment like it's really good

and I just want I got to make sure that I play it like I want to make I don't want pre sitting there waiting for me I've only it's really good turned it on because I needed an achievement quickly once and I just killed myself but how did you do that I haven't been back to it um guess the very start of the mission the very start of the game when you go into the helicopter yeah if you jump into the blades you get an achievement no okay I don't think I did that y I only did it because I was struggling I needed an achievement quickly before the day cuz I got a update my achievement streak 175 days as of as of today 175 yep did you break the chain 875 I to say that sounds ni sorry I'm I'm I'm

still a little tired from last night yeah I can tell especially cuz when I drove to Sydney yesterday yeah it's a 3-hour trip to Sydney true it took over seven hours wow because driving up the Hume Highway which is the huge Highway that runs pretty much the East Coast of Australia yeah there was a fire oh and they shut down the highway for a few hours and so we were stuck in traffic like just not traffic like you're moving forward ER this is just dead stop yeah right we were lucky where we where we were able to stop we were able to stop at the servo so at least we were in the shade and had we could get food food and toilet and stuff but yeah it was crazy

yeah see I forgot you guys get fires there uh we get we've had hurricanes here of late as uh as you probably saw in the news no no fair enough no didn't bother mentioning that on the news in Australia I suppose that makes sense why would they uh well you know I don't know if you saw P Rico's kind of been destroyed uh yeah um evidently they have like no power in the country at all yeah no friend of ours using the arm's on his way there now to uh to help out yeah that that's I couldn't imagine and we had Hurricane Jose uh head up this way uh that was not too too concerning it was more like a tropical storm ah just like the edge of it and it was just kind of like it was very windy and rainy for a couple days but that's

about it but we were out at dinner and on the news there' been you know stuff about Puerto Rico and and and the hurricanes and everything and Florida to a lot of people in Florida got evacuated um and there was some concern but I think everything's fine down there um but there was stuff on the news uh and we're we're in this restaurant we're all talking and chatting and then every now then something going to be on the news everyone look up and then all of a sudden Jenna's mom goes oh my God and she's like looking at the TV and so we're like whoa whoa whoa whoa thinking oh [ __ ] something bad's happened with the hurricane and we look up and it's Sheldon proposing to Amy on The Big Bang

Theory we're like oh what the [ __ ] I've been thinking about this do you think the people in The Big Bang Theory know they're on a terrible show and they just but they just put on a fake face because of the money he gets paid so much [ __ ] money yeah what's his name like if you're paying me like over a million dollar an episode to be on a terrible show I would say it's the greatest show ever I look i' I have found it amusing before but I know what you mean it's we're saying it's terrible show but like it's it's like really [ __ ] popular so yeah but I don't know it's I think it started off sort of okay but to where it is now it's just I think if you got rid of the laugh track people would go this is not funny have you seen the the clip of it it's

tried Amazon uh they don't sell booze so but yeah the film comes out soon uh October yeah it's real soon is it so that's exciting um I'm excited to see it by the director of arrival which was a fantastic film and Harrison Ford's second last movie yeah that's right so we can assume that uh rck Deckard will die in this as Harrison Ford slowly travels back through his filmography uh and all his characters are murdered yep just killing off all the I don't I I yep DEA going to die Indiana Jones won't y oh you think no IND Jes 5 he's doomed no no I don't think he's going to kill him off I think that's just going to be a cuz that's just to pick up like

there's even though there's like four movies they don't really well three movies they're just interchangeable they're not really following on from the story it's just each their own story so yeah that's true and I think those do do a bit the same like they do with man Max yeah yeah I see same character just different story yeah they don't necessarily even link yeah Mad Max it's not a sequential story there are details about him that are different in in them actually well if you look at the first one the second one they're completely different movies yeah I know yeah yeah second one's better yeah yeah the first one I don't mind the first one but still good it's just the second one is a million times better I still haven't seen Fury oh my

God what's wrong with you it's the best movie it's so good I just I don't know for some reason I even this afternoon I was trying to find something to watch and I'm quite happy to sit there and watch like four or five episodes of a television show yeah but I don't want to sit there and commit myself to a movie sure which I can't work out like the movie will probably end sooner than the television show but yeah it feels like a big effort yeah you have to sort of commit yourself for that full hour and a half 2 hours which is television show you're only going to commit yourself for 20 minutes 20 to 30 minutes and then then you just have to commit yourself over and over again now I did see a trailer of something that I think I'm going to go see really you saw the trailer for

this and it made you want to see it no I'm talking about the trailer for jamanji [Laughter] right okay yeah actually I I I I thought it looks fun I'm I think jamanji looks more fun than this other film that I thought we were talking about which we'll talk about next um had you not seen a trailer for jamanji yet no I only saw it like two days ago okay I've seen a couple of them yeah look it's got The Rock in it uh so I knew you'd be interested yeah he's your favorite actor it's got Jack Black who's playing a teenage girl yep Karen Gillan and Kevin Hart but as Tomb Raider I did see the trailer for yeah and yeah I don't know it looks like they have tried to go it's such a along the lines of the new games

yeah yeah I mean look it it's got all the bits elements that make it look like the game except it just looks boring it's a boring trailer yeah like I I just really didn't make me want to watch the film and and I I was already at a I was like already wanted to watch it and I watched the trailer and then I was like maybe I won't watch it who cuz who's who is she who I can't remember who's playing her Alicia viander is you pronounced the name she's from um ex Marina yeah Alicia viander or vicer or something but yeah she what else does she ex MAA uh she was in a Jason born movie uh I think the only thing I've seen her in is is X macina and she was very good in that okay uh have I seen any of these other

movies no so no um I hope it's just a bad trailer yeah hopefully we'll see cuz yeah I was thinking this will be a Tomb Raider I might go and see but unless they can give me another trailer that pulls me in maybe not yeah I don't know it's not looking that great it can be so good cuz they're finally making it sort of serious yes it does look less goofy uh but also it I don't know there was just it was like we got to get shots of her jumping in slow motion it's like all right it was like boring boring boring boring jumping in slow motion boring but yeah like they even had like the hel the like when she runs along the the wing of a plane and jumps and like everything from the game and just it just made it

look boring yeah yeah bad trailer guys like I'm some [ __ ] brilliant trailer critic but I'll probably watch it I almost certainly watch it on cuz I once I finally get my movie pass which I don't have yet still don't no sick of it well is there any movie you want to go see at the moment though yeah there tons I still want to see Dunkirk I want to see uh Annabelle creation I want to see um I think baby driver is not on anymore Thor Ragnarok is coming out soon uh I want to see you can still go to the movies I see The Dark Tower yeah but see some of these I don't want to pay for a ticket I I want to see them but I like I don't want to see them bad enough that I'm would pay but if I've got Movie Pass I'll going to see all of them there is a movie that they're making soon which I'm

bit confused about how they're going to make it work what's that the new Terminator one they're bringing Linda Hamilton back to play Sarah Connor yeah yeah I think so how's that work uh well I don't know yet they keep messing up this story line by making more movies basically they the first movie was fine uh had a little bit of a it's a little the whole concept is a little bit of a uh of a of a let's say Paradox of sorts the first one was fine though yeah right because it it didn't change anything like they they killed the Terminator and that meant that things looped right yeah it was fine Terminator 2 screwed it all up yeah because the first one is just that sort of yeah just follows the story

line I had to go back in time and it just created that Loop which was fine but then in the second one they actually tried to change the future right and that they were successful which meant that they they broke everything technically depending on how you look at time uh we don't need to get into all that here but when you go to Terminator 3 you find out that sarak Conor died yeah and they also I mean it was a bad movie but they fixed the the plot holes sort of and then so oh and then Genesis came along now I haven't seen Genesis I haven't either I didn't bother I heard it was bad so have they maybe explained there that she lived somehow well I know oh maybe cuz from what I understand uh

Genesis made the premise of Genesis in in in a way like I haven't seen it I just read it about this that they messed up everything by going back in time too much and so things are all messed up and confused and it's yeah cuz I remember like the start of it it's he goes back and then sherak Conor actually becomes sort of the hero and the tough guy yeah I don't remember and he's got a pet Terminator haven't seen it should probably watch it before we discuss it but yeah I probably won't so yeah I don't know how they're going to get Linda Hamilton back I like that they are cuz she was tops she was really really excellent in both of those movies uh but I don't I don't know how that's going to work yeah I don't know we we we'll wait and see they're going

to continue this trend of just ignoring like an arbitrary number of sequels and just be like oh this one goes after two which is what they do now they just tell you how many sequels you have to ignore and then everyone just is like oh okay fine sometimes that needs to happen I agree oh they're going to do that with aliens remember um uh Neil Blum Camp was going to do a sequel to aliens and ignore Alien 3 and four and Etc and I was like you know what fine yeah I'd be okay with that yeah cuz fall was meant to be a good movie Alien trapped on a spaceship with all these marines but the second Al got out the Marines left yeah hey if you want to learn more about the uh the history of the Alien films check out

necronom there's an alien quadrilogy episode that we did speaking of Thor Ragnarok which I I mentioned briefly before uh apparently there is not much to this but there's a rumor that Tao yti the director of Thor Ragnarok and what we do in the shadows which is a cool uh New Zealand film about vampires we're werewolves not swearwolves that's right uh he is in talks to direct the film adaptation of Akira which is interesting I don't know that they should really do that I don't think it's going to work but hey why not ghost in the show do well I don't think so I think cuz I'd be sort of if if ghost in the show made money then go for it with airo if that didn't make money then don't I guess it depends on what your goal is if your goal is to just

make money then yeah sure maybe it's a good idea but if you it's it's always the goal fair enough well I think some directors would argue that it's not he's St me as someone who who wouldn't do it for money but who knows prove be wrong take away G no look that's not fair uh maybe he maybe he'll do a great job of it uh that would be good it's a cool story Akira uh it's a little weird so yeah we'll see uh we'll see how that goes if it even happens he's in talks at this stage which basically just means nothing talks means nothing yeah so maybe maybe it'll Happ maybe it won't people have been in talks for years to make make me my rootch movie rootch yeah still waiting still waiting for that call all right and we've got uh

we've got some Star Wars news where's the jingle sort of maybe I'll play the jingle anyway Star warss news I mean it's news it's just might not actually happen it's in the news so yes so someone was basically asking when the new trailer is going of come out because it's been a while we haven't got the story Trail yet yeah I know they haven't told us anything much about it in a while and George sort of let sleep um not George Mark George doesn't give a Fu anymore yeah George don't care Mark went uh watch Monday Night Football on Monday the October 9th for no reason in particular Y and then deleted that and then claimed ignorance

presumably he got in trouble from uh someone at Disney so I would hate to sort of be that I would just not go on social media at all and talk to anyone if I wasn't allowed to talk about stuff just in case yeah totally be so easy to let slip yeah you're bad at keeping secrets yeah nothing should be kept a secret you used to claim that you were really good at keeping secrets well it depends on the secret it does it I'm could it keep me a secret if it was for some reason it would hurt someone I see right like if the secret was a sledgehammer yes literally a sledgehammer yep yeah I'd be able to keep that secret well fair enough so yes the Tweet has been removed H and Mar caml has now said I have no idea Disney will announce it when they're ready so

we think maybe his lawyers advised or Disney's lawyers advised I doubt it was Lawyers it would have just been someone straight on phone to go cuz they they would have someone just to watch what all those stars are tweeting yeah cuz apparently they get bonuses if they uh if they can avoid [ __ ] ruining the movie for people R someone would have seen Mark and would have picked up the phone and go Mark what the hell are you doing you're getting a pay getting cut cut back for this October 9th which I wonder how much he'd be making presumably he could he could request a lot right because he's he's still a star but he's also not cuz yeah like he's a like he's Luke Skywalker and then he's

a voice actor yes so yeah I don't know how much he would be raking in well he doesn't do the Joker more than we would ever make that's for sure yeah oh let's see how much how much does Mark haml get paid how much did Mark haml get for the force awakens you'll never guess apparently I'll never guess oh yeah cuz he's only it for 5 seconds mhm uh he was paid uh Harrison Ford was paid a lot okay that doesn't tell me apparently boa and Ridley earned between 300,000 there you go yeah it's still pretty good come on where is it actually this

article have the [ __ ] okay he got a million dollars for the force awakens for standing there yeah so okay he's probably going to get a lot more for this one because he actually talks and stuff oh does he yeah maybe he doesn't maybe that's maybe that's all he says we've already seen all of his lines in the trailer yep it's time for the Jedi to end and and he just sits there being grumpy he doesn't speak for the rest of the film all right cos crossplay yeah ah this is Sony need to stop being dicks and allow crossplay between platforms yeah it's become pretty clear that that it well it seems to be clear that it's uh it's Sony that's keeping this from happening uh a game called

fortnite I don't know anything about it's a shooter uh came out this week and accidentally had crossplay enabled meaning people on Xbox and Playstation could play with each other and they say accidentally but I don't think it was an accident well I I I didn't even know you could do that oh yeah like um games like rocket League they've basically said like if Sony say yes we can do it we can have crossplay up in an hour yeah right like it's very easy to do but in the past I thought they'd said that you know oh there are different servers it's different completely different servers it's not possible this is the whole thing it's it's the developers have to organize their own servers oh all right so you won't have like well yeah you wouldn't have

exclusives anyway but yeah it's Microsoft that like they're all happy to do it but they don't want to have to do the support or run the servers or anything for it it's all I see Ed by the developers themselves right which I think that's fair except for Minecraft Minecraft would be well yeah still the develop of Microsoft but cuz um even like there's going to be crossplay between on for Minecraft between switch and Xbox yes and already you can play across Xbox and iOS and all that that came out this week actually y so see it's so weird cuz when Microsoft eventually brought it up this time Sony came out and went yeah we've been crossplaying since 2002 like look at Final Fantasy between PlayStation and PC trying to act like yeah we have always been doing it and then when it

actually came to all right let's do it Sony went nowhere worried about the safety of the children playing and so we don't trust anyone because Xbox players are all [ __ ] well no they're just trying to say they tried to claim it was a safety issue cuz they don't have any control over people on other consoles the I mean yeah I suppose that's true but also you don't really have that control over your own people anyway yeah absolutely is a are you allowed to do swear words on on a PlayStation and allowed to do swears I'm pretty sure you're allowed to swear H yes so but yeah it just shows that it's there it can be used and it didn't seem like anyone was had having any problems with it now this has literally no effect on you

because you hate playing with other people so I guess you don't really care if this happens or not no but it could be good for some like there are some games like uh say for Titanfall 2 for example sure where the multiplayer base isn't the biggest so this would just broaden that and allow more people to still continue playing that game cuz it's a good game people like it fair point yeah I don't know I think it will happen just a matter of when but also there's there's no point for Sony to do it because they're winning like it's not what do you mean they're winning they're winning the console sales and oh yeah really oh yeah son's destroying everyone huh I didn't know that I guess I don't
