question questions but do you go commando when you're wearing pants not all the time but especially if I'm in if I'm at home just to on pajamas I'm not wearing underwear see I'm more likely to be wearing underwear but no pants yeah same that's I don't I don't I don't skip the inner layer but go to the outer layer well I skip the inner layer yeah but say say you're wearing pants with no underwear because you're at home but then you need to go do that right now okay but you'd have to strip all that off to then put underwear on put the pants back on I just go out who cares okay what's underwear really well I think you discovered today what it's for the off your balls but if I'm not putting de on what's the point of it I believe it's to

stop you from I mean I might be making this up from dirtying your clothes with your your under bits which are covered in you're still dirty in your clothes yeah but your jeans right say you've got a pair of jeans yep and how much detail are you going to go into right now you don't want to wash them every day but so you pop your underwear on and then you wash your underwear every day and then your jeans are protected from your filthy butt how dirty is your butt getting in a single day if you're uh just joining us this is uh this is a fashion podcast um look I [ __ ] every and hygiene fashion and

good yeah they're pretty good uh yeah so you can play with dogs more yeah they're I I find they're around the same amount of work as a cat but they love you back whereas a cat tolerates you it's a little rough having I mean this is our fault not the dogs having uh a kitten that is [ __ ] trash and everything and then having a dog that is not used to being trapped inside because we couldn't let him out here because we don't have a fence because he just run exactly he Chas a [ __ ] deer off and he's gone so yeah it got a bit intense at times with like he's like jumping around knocking things over the kitten Grim is knocking things over and it was just like oh my God but he was lovely and he was nice it

was nice having him around so it's nice my the downside is that I've got to take him for [ __ ] four walks in a day because I'm in an apartment so uh you know every time every want a bathroom break I've got to take him down eight flights and uh take him over to the park well I guess it's similar we had to take him out on the lead because yeah we can't keep him running off yeah [ __ ] on a deer exactly or an albino turkey yeah oh wait the listeners weren't here for that there was an alino turkey it's better if they don't know it's better if they don't know everything is better without context but it's also why you should get your dog underwear good point yeah especially if you're going to rub deep heat on its balls y guys I want to apologize for my disgusting audio last week I sounded

like [ __ ] and I apologized for it hopefully I sound better this week and hopefully you can hear me consistently because I'm on a mesh Network now guys oh about time mesh everywhere my internet is is is good in this room now well it's good everywhere in my [ __ ] house is great um I've upgraded podcast required it oh I know that you did extensive research Luke into what a mesh network is after I said I was getting one so I was wondering I certainly did could you explain to to us and the listeners what a mesh network is yeah especially explain it to Matt because he shed out a lot of money for this without knowing what it is so exactly I just saw mesh and I was like [ __ ] yeah yeah mesh so yeah I I when I found out you got a mesh I decided to do some research find

out what it was M mhm I found it on Wikipedia read for about 3 seconds got super bored and read I got this so there are nodes now yes so you plug a thing into a node which plugs into your thing and then it goes where internet goes faster just make sure you don't get Tiger Bomb on your [Laughter] node that's yeah you know what you're not I mean you're not wrong Luke but I'm far from right [Laughter] the mesh Network you've got your router uh you know like you would have a wireless router you have one of those still and then you got a bunch of satellite routers and then it all it's kind of like you know like Wi-Fi

extenders except it's it Wi-Fi extenders kind of like a a shiv it's like a you know like a little made up fake extender thing almost like yeah and you got to be really careful not to get deep heat on your uh your Wi-Fi that's right kind of like you when you copy an old uh cassette tape over time and the quality degrades that's what yeah it's just not quite right that's what a Wi-Fi extender is but with the mesh Network the satellites have uh in in the case of the one I got they have like a dedicated channel to speak to the router and it's not just a copy of the of the signal they actually talk to each other and and then distribute the internet and it's the bottom line is it's very fast in here now so and now you can just really break about how good your internet is

that's right it already was when you were plugged into it now it's now it's but now you can experience it all the time exactly so we had a celebrity death this week um but I'm not sure it's qualifying geek of the week um Luke can I right now ionic Soul s become Geeks of the week no but I'm actually quite annoyed about this okay everyone is referring to her by her first name now urethra it's just atha kid I dead set thought her name was urethra Franklin now I didn't know what a urethra was but I knew that urethra was a word and artha wasn't I did a a a report once on the rainforest and in my words all the orgasms that lived in it oh yeah man [ __ ] been in some

rainforest in that rainforest so yes I'm no stranger to uh misunderstanding words yeah well and then sometimes in Primary School you actually you do understand them and that's wrong like that uh that that book report I wrote on Huckleberry Finn where I constantly dropped the n-word was because you weren't allowed to it it was interesting no it's cuz I'd never heard it before other than that book I wasn't trying to be subversive you're just a little racist kid so why why does it annoy you Luke that that the people are using your first name cuz for for refer it's always been artha Franklin and then the day that she died I heard about three different news programs just all refer to her as by her name artha and I'm just

no notha Franklin she had a surname use it yes yeah use it but yeah before she died Turtle use it it was always arutha Franklin and that was fine but now I think people come too comfortable and yeah people should became too close with everybody in the world yeah everyone was on a first name basis with her except L do you know any other areas in the world just I mean there's only two kyli and they're nutting it out right now for who can use the name Kylie n there's another Kylie there who's the other Kylie which Kylie do you think of as Kylie man yeah think Jenna that's Kylie but uh I'm not

yeah he puts a lot of effort into it and he's very prolific have you seen that one you probably have it's his number one video of them [ __ ] snowboarding in Manhattan behind a car I'm not sure I've seen that one I've probably seen bits of it it's it's it's it's very good and because they obviously have a lot of drones going and stuff and then as I'm watching it I'm like how are the police not getting involved with this and then the police pull them over and he and the guy goes come on guys we've had some complaints knock it off and then they're like they're like yeah yeah do you know nerd Rider do you watch his videos oh yeah yeah nerd me too nerd Riders does a really nice breakdown of of what makes Casey's videos good oh yeah yeah very worth

watching yeah n r is good yeah he's great nerd Rider yeah riter see not rerer he doesn't ride nerds rer well actually that that does lead me into a segue but we'll let Luke uh you going to ask a question I'm trying to find out who nerd riter is oh he's a gentleman who uh who makes kind of anal analytical videos about various topics and they're beautifully done like they're just they're really they're poetic but you know he'll just be breaking down a pop song or a movie y or the videos of or something like that like he'll talk about it's actually got a one on the end I believe nerd Rider One n rider one yeah right like I'm [ __ ] four exactly exactly

the another Trend I started yeah you no three people ahead of you started that Trend so my um my accent uh it causes some confusion here sometimes uh but never as as prolonged and and I didn't know what was going on as yesterday okay I'm I went out looking to get some potting mix right okay wink wink no no no I I was looking legitimately looking for the the dirt that you put in a [ __ ] plant right the pot plant you're not surrounded by dirt in the um Country House you live in yeah but this stuff has got special stuff in it I I can afford that's how they get you yeah I agree so the first place I went to I looked around I couldn't find any and so I went up to the guy at the front and I

said have you got any potting mix and he goes ah yeah uh be in the food section and I was like what really he's like yeah yeah in the middle and I like not over with the gardening supplies and he was like no no no no it's food and I was like oh no idiot okay all right fine so I went and I'm looking around the I'm like there's not any of it here and I'm pretty sure that guy's a fool so I assume they just didn't have any and I left and I went to uh another place that had sold out no no comedy happened there and then I went to a Stop and Shop which is like the grocery store and I'm looking around everywhere I couldn't find it and I approached this woman and I said excuse me do you have pting mix and she's like yeah yeah um

aisle s and I was like okay great thanks uh I seven cuz I'm looking at what's in the aisles mhm and she's like yeah yeah and I'm like potting mix and she's like yep like potting mix and she's like yeah like in a box no be a bag box of dirt like like for plants and she goes what I'm like potting mix and she goes oh pudding mix oh no what so apparently when I say pting it sounds like pudding wow but I love that every every single [ __ ] hardware store you went to also has pudding mix no they were one the first place was Ocean State jobot which is like uh like it's got random [ __ ]

like and they have a lot of gardening and and random food stuff and it's like a not like a wholesale store but it's like a but you thinking even in the first place when you sort of questioned like not with the gardening stuff that something would have clicked there no apparently not apparently not but that it wasn't until I talked to the woman at stopping shop that I my mind flashed back and I was like that [ __ ] guy thought I said pudding too must cuz he was told me to look in the food section that's great also it's potting soil that would have cleared it right up if I had said soil so I think soil soil yeah I think it's a double double Wy because a I said the wrong thing in general because it's soil not mix but we call it potting mix in

Australia right yeah absolutely definitely yes yeah yeah and then potting s but we are the only country in the world who says fairy floss instead of cotton candy yeah you know there's a couple of things where like we can't get too precious about what we call things no I'm still going with we right look I I argue that a jumper and a sweater are both dumb names for that thing that that is a pullover yeah that makes more sense a pull over because you you pull it over yourself yeah you pull it over yeah a sweater a sweater is really strange yeah that's right I put it on when it's hot and I want sweat yeah but a jumper is like I put it on and I bounce I [ __ ] bounce mate what do you got there Matt cuz I'm

not drinking for one month so I got nothing okay coffee coffee I do have oh yeah that's right hold on okay now now I let this go the other day mhm all right all right so you're not drinking for a month I'm not drinking for one month well you you why not doing a lot of things for month I am yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I'm basically undoing in a month what I did in a week in Italy I went a little too hard on the on the on the wine in keti and a little too hard on the food so I'm going to have to do a year the Whole 30 for year to get the whole 365 America oh see see I just give up on the food and just keep the alcohol though yeah but I've actually uh

I've now become one of those people who like read the energy content on things and realize that oh you should never do that mate in a gin and tonic there are four spoons of sugar equivalent I can't be eating four [ __ ] spoonfuls of sugar with every drink I have that's why I like it so much that is why you like it you kind of a cheeky glass of wine like red wine or something I can 30 30 days 30 days time okay yeah no I got to I got to rethink yeah no you're right I've I've got to have uh I've I've got to pick a drink that has five less calories than I currently currently am but after your 30 days yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I got to complet detx I go out and I'm like yeah healthy food oh [ __ ] donut burger yeah I'll try that Matt how was the doughnut Burger cuz I've got to say it

looked [ __ ] delicious it was I was so I can't even eat a burger I can't eat bread at the moment for listeners right one of the things Luke remember when we came over I all I was trying to find was a [ __ ] donut burger because I was like we're going to America mhm I want to try a a hamburger on a donut and I couldn't find him anywhere and then I kind of almost forgot about it I remember I thought I ordered one or I thought they had one at at uh a place but it was a bagel and I was like yes not the same and you you were so upet when it happened yeah and but which is ridiculous cuz I love Bagels but but no man you were let down I get it so I hadn't intended to get it but we went out and uh and we actually we're at a brewery with the cats we took the cats to a

brewery yeah I'm going to ask you about that in so uh but go on start go with Brewery first we got to go get some food afterwards and we end up at this place called Arugas which is like a uh sports bar uh cuz it was open mhm and uh they have a pretty good menu actually and I'm flipping through and I see the donut burger and I was like oh my God it's time when you ordered it did you confirmed that it was going to be a donut burger I didn't to it was obvious from the from the picture and the menu and then uh okay and then I actually felt ashamed when I ordered it cuz I said to the guy I was like I'm going to have and then I pretended like it was I wasn't sure you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna have the doughnut Burger I'm going to try it and then and and he was like

oh people like it it it's it's it's interesting and I was like oh okay so it's got a burger patty uh cheese and bacon on a donut like a glazed Crispy Cream style donut and uh it was pretty good it wasn't as weird as it might sound it was just like eating a burger with a bit of sweet no it's yeah it's sweet and Sav we go together yeah they do man you know what I've gotten obsessed with lately never no because I I want to live fair enough so that's not you that's not your love every day now no there's these biscuits that you can get here you you can probably get them in America too but I've never seen them in Australia um that I started eating quite a lot of that I should probably stop also um that

are peanut butter between two Jets oh and it's [ __ ] magnificent they have these uh they're like crackers I guess it's like it's it's it's I bet it's the same thing it's just yeah but they salt salted crackers right yeah you get peanut butter and a little bit of salt crunchy biscuit oh man now my problem now is the like talked about this before my backyard is a [ __ ] Burger producing machine now yeah yeah so it's good I've started grilling out too but I need to get a new Barbie yeah need a big one mate you got a barbecue too luk I assume you your house is the kind of house that would have a barbecue um I do but I've never used it fair enough and I don't know why this is a different tone for the

in charge of ruining he said no rehiring yeah they cuz I think they even sat down and had another chat like a y cuz when this all happen it was very quickly so this is yeah the very first sit down go over it all and they gone you're not coming back but we will give you lots of money and we will want you back in the future yeah because I read and it's funny to me actually because I I would like James gun to direct guans of the Galaxy volume 3 I like that very much but I also understand that this is a complex situation but [ __ ] nerds on the internet are so desperate right I read this big Theory and you know what maybe it's true maybe it's not but I read this big Theory right because apparently Kevin Fe from Marvel Studios yeah didn't

attend the meeting and now the the the theory is the conspiracy theory is that he didn't go because he knows that that guy Allan Thorn he's either going to die or retire soon because he's in his 70s right and then he might be offered the job uh in fact this might be his last year I think alen horn he's going to retire and then Kevin might be off with the job and then he can just hire James back but he needs to not be in the meeting otherwise it's otherwise what well he might might influence that's the law is it he might have to go back on something he agrees to in the meeting so if he just doesn't go to the meeting when he's when he's in charge he can just okay when when are they going to do when did they actually start shooting Guardians next year he's got time still time

tne looks pretty godamn dead it does it's a desert Planet but they oh they got water evaporators there obviously an atmosphere yeah you can breathe there yeah unlike uh oracus in Dune where you need a steel suit to filter your own body's water into yourself yeah not just your you have to wear you don't have to wear Underpants in those suits Luke no it's discouraged yeah tell you go Commander more often PA a trade style I'm oh they're gone man hin are [ __ ] gone man read read to the end no they're gone like the baddies yeah no [ __ ] Paul's the baddy by the second book did you read the second book no okay so you know how you know in the end of the first book like Paul becomes the leader of the fan right yeah but he also has that thing where he

takes so much of the malange spice that he becomes like totally nessian like he he can see not only the future but he can see all possible Futures and and he sees in the second book that the best case scenario out of all the possible Futures that he sees is letting the freman take over the entire galaxy and killing billions of people in a mass genocide okay so when you pick up 12 years later in um Children of Dune that that [ __ ] has happened in the interim it's amazing but he saw the future so what's he he knows the best that was that was the future yeah killing billions of people and letting the fan take over the entire galaxy is I best

scenar who who for them presumably well he's leader of the freman now let's remember that yeah fair enough I don't know how you can read that book oh I'm I'm in the third one Jun Messiah I using my eyes oh yeah you clearly read further than I thought you had cuz he's blind he's I only read the first bit yeah I know the first P that's it I've read that I've read that first bit God knows how many times and I just this book is boring the action doesn't start until quite a quite a fair way in to be honest not for me yeah no Car Chasers uh no there's some chases there's definitely chases I'm not a fan of Car Chasers at all I don't I don't want it's just too it's

just too descriptive for me yeah yeah I hate it when books tell you what's going on yeah but there sometimes they can tell you too much no I do agree do agree yeah and um have actors acted out in front of me guys there is a geek of the week I just realized oh uh it's not official yet but I believe it's not official dead or he's not officially geek of the week well it's well neither okay the movie pass oh is uh is on its last legs I'm telling you did they run out of money again oh God yeah they [ __ ] run out of money and and not only that they're like I think they actually want people to [ __ ] cancel it now so that they have to don't have to spend as much money I've canceled ours because the new rules

are they change like honestly they've been changing the rules every week for the past month every week we get a new email one that says you'll now have you be able to choose from one of two movies what now the price is going up to 15 bucks uh and you won't be able to see you know the most popular movies and then they're like n we changed our mind we're taking that away now now the the the most recent one was you can now see up to three films a month and the selection will will be limited and rotate at each Cinema what who yeah yeah so I think I think all of is I think where they went wrong was their price point was too low yes clearly I think if they had had that up maybe at 15 from the start probably 20 would have been better but

15 would have been fine the business model is right I don't I don't know how the [ __ ] you spin this in any way that makes sense right you give me $10 a month Luke less than a movie ticket then you go to the movies as many times as you want and I'll pay for your ticket that's my business that's that's what movie f is Matt I'd like to sign up for that business yeah that's why I did I was like you guys are [ __ ] insane all right yeah yeah I'm going to ride this train before it derails yeah yeah see I think all they had to do was here just price it a little more than what one ticket costs right and I think they would be in a better position what they are now which is the toilet because I don't their business model does make sense it's how

people it's how when you buy the drinks package at a wedding and stuff that's how they price it they go this you have so many people will drink lots so many people won't drink any so that's how they make their money and that's what they're thinking the same I think they underestimated how many people would go to the movies when they had this versus go without it because yeah without movie pass I I wouldn't go that much and I know people who would who don't go that much but with it [ __ ] I know a guy who goes every day like well even look at like why wouldn't you one ticket like exactly even if even if people weren't going every day if they just went every month movie parts are still losing money yes yes millions of you guys remember

when pen Panthers Leagues Club had a cinema yeah I saw of wolves there yes if your parents were members or if you were a member but we were kids so none of us were members if your parents were members the movies were free you just had to ring up and book um yes I saw Bram stroker's Dracula I saw so many movies Michael Kemp and I convinced our when we were next door neighbors we convinced our parents to both join and then we went every day often multiple times a day one holidays like you know you know the Christmas holidays the big summer holidays we went yeah we saw every [ __ ] movie over and over de V botle was they drop the kids off here and then they go inside and gamble yes yeah so I I I I honestly I think Movie Pass uh is on its last legs I mean I

yeah we canceled us I know a lot of people we know our friends have canceled theirs just because it's not I mean there's no point me having it if I can't go I want to go to the movies I would like to see you know uh whatever you feel like exactly what's the point I want to go see the Meg that's true I do want to go see the Meg but uh if it's not available well why am I paying for this thing yeah I wouldn't pay for the Meg if I had movie pass and the Meg was free yeah I don't go off enough though that it's it like I could maybe go once a month right but if I don't have a choice of movie a free choice of any movie it's not worth saving the five bucks you know yeah yeah no so cancel yeah it's like if you got to the movies and they said okay you can

go into the mystery movie for 10 bucks yeah um or you can see the one you want yeah the one you want for 15 You' be like I don't even want to know what the movie is yeah they're like What's it's fun for the whole family you know well then I definitely don't want to see it that's not what I'm here for yeah so ROV I did hope it was going to make its way to Australia there are alternatives that have popped up now some of them that that I think have better business models like there's one um Denia which is a weird name uh that I was looking at which it's uh I read about that one today yeah but but it's kind of the same model as Movie Pass uh it's three might be two 10 bucks gets you two movies a month uh but you can choose whatever movie you

want and uh and you can pre-book tickets and stuff too so like are you going to join them maybe maybe we're going to see because that that would be a better option but then I don't know we still just don't have time to go that often so it might just be better to spend 15 bucks every two months to go to the movies than it is to do that or just get a really good home theater package well we kind of we kind of have a good setup and uh there's always Italy so that's always Italy yeah I don't go to Italy Much Anymore yeah plus we all know Matt's got a better Italy than we do so last thing I went to Italy for was the Orville [ __ ] all right have you seen SE that coming I don't know what this is it's the Star Trek ripoff oh yeah I

definitely didn't and I was when I saw this I thought it was going to be like a his humor with Star Trek the show doesn't have the humor in it it's just a Star Trek ripoff oh it's just him doing a Star Trek yeah it's not like a laugh a minute thing or anything like that it's yeah it's it's Star Trek it's actually no I I enjoyed it all right watch Star Trek I'm actually slightly more interested now that it's not a like there are there are some jokes but have some jok I wouldn't even I wouldn't classify as a comedy right H is so it's good is what you're saying yes hey are we going to talk about the fact that all of the [ __ ] Star Trek cast have pulled out oh actually yeah I forgot about that well two of them right both the

Chris's both the chrises well yeah I like how Luke hates the fact that artha Franklin is just a w now but [ __ ] both Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pine are both just Chris collectively the Chris's I'm a very complex man going have to dinner with the chrises tonight yeah yeah they both bailed on it which kind of the movie I was actually I was excited that we're going to bring Chris Chris one back you know yeah I felt he had too little to do uh in St Tre but then again it's going to be a time travel movie presumably if he's back yeah but St Trek do time travel [ __ ] all the time yeah but um didn't check off die correct well yeah the guy who plays

him so if it's time Travel how did I explain him not being there well he wouldn't have been around when Cook's dad was around oh yeah because Kirk had just been born whenin got blown up and when they're in the present day I'm sure they'll explain it by someone going are like oh where is he and they're like oh cze off's just uh I guess he's in the other room and they'll just you'll never see him but they'll constantly on the Enterprise oh God what a tragic death he ran over himself with his own car [ __ ] up actually and that that I know that don't write in I know it wasn't his fault it was a malfunction I just it was just a joke that's a still find it weird that he was coming back from theater training and Disney if you want me to delete that joury in order to direct

waiting 15 years for on baited breath my my mate that I worked with at the time like for years had remember they they the website if you went to Diablo i.com or you know blizzard Diablo 3 there was just that logo and it was just up there for [ __ ] ages like my mate had that as his like screen saver you know what I mean like we were all just [ __ ] hanging out for Dia 3 and it's like oh it's diablo I a game from 15 years ago just shiny yeah yeah it just sort of I like I played it and finished it and then also that that that's it I'm done but then I guess what what what else could they have done I guess when you think about it like it's got to be the same thing otherwise it wouldn't be yeah you're right everyone would be like [ __ ] this not Diablo

you've changed it no well I never I never played the original ones but I still feel from what everyone saying it was missing something the original Diablos no what neither of them no what huh interesting I played both of them [ __ ] yeah so did I no never but yeah I get the impression that it was just missing some hook some hooks yeah you think Diablo two was missing hooks three oh oh okay sorry yes you might be right yeah no I'm talking about yeah yeah you're saying despite despite everyone loving Diablo I DIA 3 didn't give you anything to which I don't know why because it was exactly the

same like like oh I I I have literally played this to death I think the big thing now is the fact that we can there are so many more games I think that plays a huge Factor now imagine you had got Diablo I 15 years ago when you were waiting for it and that was only game you're getting that year that's right yeah speaking of games I know you guys are both playing uh we happy few and I wanted to jump on that bandwagon as well uh it yet okay well I know Jenna's playing it also because I've I've seen on her social media that she's playing it I finished act one oh you did there you go I can't [ __ ] play it uh because people take drugs in it and anything with people taking drugs is banned here yep yeah nearly got didn't get released in Australia for the exact same

reason huh okay well yeah I haven't had a chance yet but I would like to maybe I'll try it today if I can uh or at some point this week yeah I finished act one and then I started playing act two which is when you start playing as a different character seeing the same story from another Viewpoint andh I just couldn't do it oh yeah no wasn't because I didn't like the story it's just I felt drained after playing yet H take a break come back to it yeah that's what I'm going to do I'm going to leave it a little while play some other things then come back back to story is great but I think there's just I don't know this this's part of the game is missing I think they tried this I think actually what I really

think it is that there was a small Indie studio trying to make a AAA game and they've tried to make it longer than it actually is sure MH I think they've really stretched stretched it out a bit too far and that's where it's losing losing people cuz this it's getting a lot of bad reviews but I not that bad a game it's still good yeah yeah still still enjoyed it but yeah I think it's just too long H go play one of those games you like where you just click the button constantly and then come back to it Dia 3 yeah yeah lit is what Diablo 3 is with and then but Diablo 3's got you put a little bit of thought into your weapons when you get new new weapons and you go go back to clicking on things well I've been playing something this week uh

and it's [ __ ] awesome and it's Wolfenstein 2o and I know that we've talked about the Wolfenstein games before and you guys don't like them but uh [ __ ] it's great man I wish I did like them because everything you have to say about them pequs my interest so yeah I just I don't know why I just couldn't get into the first I haven't played the second one yet it's just so ridiculous in and I couldn't get into it in the same way as I couldn't get into Diablo II it's just so over the top ridiculous it's got what because I don't know I'm sure I talked about this I really oops hang on I've unplugged my headphones there we go I'm back um I'm sure I talked about this I really enjoyed the New Order which was the the the the

first one of these new Wolfenstein and then I tried to play the old blood uh and I didn't enjoy it as much because now the old blood was basically a prequel wasn't it without all the over the top crazy [ __ ] exactly it was missing some of the more ridiculous elements like it still has some but it's just not not as crazy but it's this this is [ __ ] ridiculous so uh it's great it's got like guys in enormous [ __ ] Mech suits that are diesel powered and you can like sneak up behind them and cut the fuel lines and then shoot the fuel and they catch on fire and [ __ ] blow up and it's got like like you steal this giant Nazi submarine I've gone to

Roswell uh to investigate potentially a it's either a UFO crash site or it's one of the basis for that that uh you know that organization I talked about last week which is like the the the Illuminati basically it's uh oh yeah it's [ __ ] great it's just it's a ridiculous over the top Nazi shooting game I might give it a go next time I get it on sale yeah let me know if it does go on sale I might pick it up too it's probably worth worth a look speaking of Illuminati Luke did you send back your uh application form no no it required me to it required effort required postage no it's reply paid good they're not they're not milking you that hard you had to do one

me maybe I was trying to I wasn't Luke what have you done mate that's that's fine go through with that you might as well now they're barking up the wrong tree yeah they definitely are yeah you got you just like look guys here look here's the appliation form signed here's the check but let me just tell you you're barking up the wrong tree great DVD by the way I really enjoyed watching it barking up the wrong tree yeah I still haven't taken that out of its packet they should just be happy they got their 50 bucks from me I would be yeah well I'm here paying for all the loose movies that's right speaking of movies I was on a bit of a kick this weekend uh gave myself a little uh little serial killer binge and uh I decided to watch

all of the film adaptation of Thomas Harris's novels oh yeah sure starting with um Silence of the Lambs but also dipping back into uh Manhunter Michael man's adaptation of red dragon which uh was actually the first film adaptation came out in the ' 80s which has [ __ ] great I'll have to have to check that out I didn't realize that it's well worth it it's totally 80s and totally Michael man directed so yeah two things I enjoy plus uh Thomas Harris I'll say this right because that's a great movie Silence of the Lambs is a [ __ ] phenomenal movie one of the one of the best like serial killer movies for me um Hannibal the sequel directed by Ridley Scott one of my favorite directors um not as good not as good in in retrospect but uh but

still quite good they can't all be winners it's just too much of a sequel I realized there's no actual killer other than Hannibal like in all the other Hannibal elor movies he's there doing his stuff in the background of some really like current and pressing killings and they've got a certain amount of time to catch this killer and the only one that can help them is Hannibal and that's the story line of Red Dragons the story line of uh of LS Hannibal the Italian cops trying to catch him right yeah that's right yeah I read the book and Gary oldman's trying to catch him as well right are there more books that haven't become films yet uh I don't think so actually I

don't not that I'm aware of I have them uh look behind me well I think I only have those three so you know what maybe there are and I just don't have them that's it's entirely possible that is possible yeah yeah but yeah and then did you watch the red dragon with uh is it uh with ra fines I got that that's next that's next I'm going to do Hannibal Rising first because I actually haven't seen that one that's the uh right the prequel yeah I actually I've watched about 15 minutes of it just before we got started on this uh podcast and I know it's it's all they're all based on books so you know can't blame the films but it really does feel like just the first scene of this is like young Hannibal watching his parents

get murdered by Nazis do you know what I mean it's like trying to set up why he's like he is he's not he's not just a [ __ ] psychopath he's just you know with ises yeah can I just say though you could not release a movie like Silence of the Lambs today um it been years since I've seen it yeah by the way oh who's the villain oh a transgender person oh why is he transgender because he's [ __ ] and he hates himself and uh and that's all bad M was a oh is that in the movie in the no they never go into it no his mom was a beauty pageant contestant he watches videos of her every night and he wants to be like her oh that's even creepier they should have put that in the movie yeah the book goes into a lot of that stuff and also his research into how to make the suit is yeah right I'm

like how did you research this like because the skin shrinks so he knows what size women he needs and that kind of stuff it's crazy yeah right so so you got to buy a few sizes up exactly in the movie he he only goes out with girls of a certain size um and then he starves them for a week so that their um skin gets all stretchy yeah it's goes a lot into that in the book and I'm like what [ __ ] research did you do that's great that's interesting uh I watched a TV show well I started to watch I haven't watched all of it yet I think it's only six episodes but uh and to watch it I subscribed to Hulu which I had not done before oh then you must be talking about Castle Rock yes I am yeah I don't know if you can get Hulu here I'm pretty certain you

can't but I considered figuring out a way to do it so that I could watch this yeah I've been thinking about setting up a VPN to try and get Hulu running as well Hulu's good the interface is a bit [ __ ] uh but it's got some good stuff on it and I mean it's got all of the Buffy and Angel series here I don't know if that's probably oh I mean if you use a VPN it would be the same but yeah it' be the same Hulu is only inica Hulu haven't done the same thing that Netflix has done and somehow made it so that a VPN doesn't work with them I don't think they are cracking down as much as Netflix CU not as big Netflix can can well they care a bit more because of they are in different countries right oh sure because they're not available whereas Hulu is just we don't care Hulu

just means they end up getting more money yeah well it's good it's it's uh it's got some cool stuff on it but like I said the interface is a bit [ __ ] but Castle Rock is great it is so L you don't know what it is at all do you I have no idea it is as it imagine that all of Stephen King's books took place in the same world in the same universe and it's just a story set in that universe so it's not explicitly about any particular Stephen King book but his world is the is the world for this story but like at some point someone gets into a car and that car is Christine exactly and there'll be like a news report oh they said something about um oh not since the incident with [ __ ] what was

it there there's lots of little things like that all then there's a newspaper like the guy going through microfilm of all these old newspapers and it's just like an old newspaper the side that says rabid dog goes crazy in town and like kind of stuff it's all but it like it's Tastefully done it's not cheesy and and the the story is not about anything in particular it's said at sha shank prison uh the first season but that's just the the setting for it and then right um and I don't want to give too much away really it's it's it's it's very good it's like a weird horror mystery kind of thing that in uh well that sounds [ __ ] great that sounds absolutely great and it's got uh what's his name the the gargard who was Pennywise in it he's in it and he's [ __ ] creepy looking

because he just is yeah I'm not sure I've even seen it without the clown makeup I assume he doesn't wear the clown makeup right he does not no he doesn't that was just for the character yeah yeah yeah yeah he does no that's what he looks like D look I've I've already stated I think it's it's completely unnecessary for Penny wise to always be a clown yeah it is because he's not supposed to be he's supposed to be whatever scares you that's what you see but apparently all those kids are scared of clowns and sometimes some other things yeah occasionally like an old melty man yeah yeah I guess if it was me Penny wise would look like disappointing my father harsh it's good I would recommend it

it's got what's his name John lock from Lost in it what's that oh just can I just jump on a tangent for John Lock right now yeah please um do you know about this John Lock thing that's on the internet at the moment uh it's nothing to do with lost it's to do with the secret gay messages in Sherlock what yeah so there's this huge online community right that like the TV show yeah yeah or cumber batch yeah yeah there's this massive underground movement online of these um people in the lgbtqi community right who are certain that Sherlock and Watson are

in a gay relationship and that and that the the producers of the show are dropping little Clues along the way so that you know that that's the case and eventually John Watson getting married to a woman well that's with woman yeah so the the producers of the show constantly come out and say we love it that people read into it we love it that people see their own lives reflected in it but absolutely not we're not we're not building any in any kind of political sexual politics into this whatsoever so just stop right now uh but they really do believe that they're building up there will be an episode at some point where you find out they have been together this whole time and it'll be a big flashback of all the times that

they were yeah that's right yeah it's called the John the johnlock conspiracy why is it called the oh because it's John wats show yeah yeah yeah I just my brain just figured I was like what's I got to do with John Lock because they can only walk when they're on the island yeah exactly because uh because Sherlock Holmes gave John John Watson a watch that didn't exist until he gave it to him yeah my favorite thing from lost my favorite thing from Lost is that 10 minute long compilation on YouTube of all the story lines that didn't go anywhere and then and then in the middle of it remember the time hul ate all the ranch dressing and then just Happ never got into that show Lost is great I don't care what anyone says is great it really

is I've considered watching it all through again cuz it is on Netflix be aware it's about the ride it's not about the [ __ ] destination exactly exactly yeah and there is no real destination in it is well put it this way they wrote The Pilot pretty certain it wasn't going to go to series and then they wrote the series with no idea where they were going to take it because they they put every they just kept going like throwing more money at them to make another season didn't they yeah I love that bit in um in the is again the JJ Abrams Ted Talk where he shows that clip from the first episode of lost where the guy gets sucked into the yeah into the the propeller yeah and he goes and he goes he goes wow special effects 20 years ago we were literally had to

kill a stunt man to do that yeah I like JJ AB did you watch um taer y's Ted Talk oh I did yeah it's quite cute he's like yeah he's like Ted Talk's got like a lot of really famous people like I made a movie but I thought you had to kind of invent movies to do a TED talk about it and it's funny because he's just like it's just a cute little funny talk about his life really it's interesting yeah no I I enjoyed that so did I not not as uh Intense or you know like you know they're always yeah well the big ones are always about like will robots take over the world yeah yeah and his was just M so they they just did one in Singapore I did all the The Branding for it I did their commercial um but

there was one there of this woman who I know actually and her job is that if your baby dies like of cot death um she goes and takes like beautifully um curated pictures of it and stuff cuz like you don't have any memories with that baby so she like creates memories put puts it in poses and stuff shs it on a surfboard remember that time we went to Disneyland I'm assuming it's not quite that I thought you were just like taking nice photos in the C around the house cor correct oh I guess that makes more sense can you have B its eyes you don't glose your eyes on a [Laughter] surfboard going to Hill for that one
