The Spoofmeister: Elon Musk Defamation Trial & Galactic Starcruiser

I had something I was going to open this week's show with I've completely forgotten welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy it's written in my phone but my phone's in the other room cuz it's on charge now crap good Good Start yeah you don't syn your notes across from your phone to somewhere else no I I probably should start doing that but I just use a note taking app on the phone yeah yeah so I don't really my notes sink across on Apple notes I'm sure there's a Google equivalent this

isn't interesting where do you keep your notes Dan write them down with a pen a pen No that's not that's not true that's abs absolutely not true I I I try you know they have their [ __ ] websites devoted to pen and paper and like bullet journals and all that kind of stuff I get caught up in it every now and then cuz I'm like I always feel like I could be more productive and so I look up all this hor [ __ ] and I buy like field notes notepads I'm like I keep it in my pocket and I've got a fountain pen that I bought cuz I was like oh that'll be fun you wrote like one thing in it and then forgot to bring it with throw it in my bag and just use my phone I bought a fountain pan and and then forgot to buy ink with or not

forgot to buy ink but just assumed I could go and get some ink and then I went into the [ __ ] station yeah some ink for a fountain pen they're like what size what gauge what what whatever and I'm like it's just a fountain pen what century yeah that's right just something to dip my quill in you've come to the wrong shop sir yeah and that's how Dan got charged with sexual harassment yeah please please put that away the first time yeah fool me once shame on you my Fountain pan is since dried up and uh I'm not quite sure how to fix it so it's just in my bag happens with age I do have a Travelers notebook uh it's called The Travelers note that's the brand Travelers notebook oh I was going to say I'm not trying to claim

here that like a travel I've got a a travel off [Laughter] notebook um but to be fair I I do only have it in my uh going away bag so it does only get used when I travel but it does get used from time to time I uh I don't know if you guys have noticed ever but there used to be quite a lot of background noise in this room that I'm in my office here um screaming and somebody pleading to get let out there was a there's a here in the US I guess radon in the dirt dirt is a problem I think we may have talked about this before like the ground releases ra on gas CU it's and that's bad for you isn't it and you can hear it no so it's common here I assume I don't know if it's everywhere in the US or is

just New England but everybody I know knows about this and has these you have a a radon extraction unit on your house and it's a there's like a PVC tube that goes down into the foundation uh and sticks up into the air outside of the house and there's a fan and it basically sucks all the air out from under the slab under your house and then blows it out into the air so the radon gas doesn't build up in the basement is that better for the for it to be in the atmosphere instead of under the ground sound better I I don't know anything about it but it doesn't sound better Matt now these are questions I probably should have asked but uh I mean it came with came with the house so I can't be I can't be legally responsible for yeah but your is built on an old

Indian burial ground so if anything's going to go wrong it's probably going to be related to that I don't have to worry about it because all of the all the evil spirits get sucked up in the fan and blasted out the atmosphere mate they move headon Danny they moved the headstones it's all some else problem but that fan when we first moved in right this room you could hear it and I was like that's kind of annoying uh but I'll just deal with it and slowly over the last two years I've been living here now slowly over the last two years it I it's definitely gotten louder and louder and louder to the point where we had to put effects on like uh special tools on to remove it from my recording of the podcast because it was just this [ __ ] whne in the background it was just this

like siren like almost like it wanted you to like vacate the premises your house went into like this red light situation no was just like this constant in this room and uh Christ and then so finally I called the company that installed it and they came out and they said the guy goes oh yeah no it's not supposed to do that and he replaced it and now it's [ __ ] dead silent and I I really wish I'd done it the day I moved in to be honest yeah instead of just [ __ ] trying to EQ it out of your life exactly like so was it actually working in that time yeah it was but yeah he said that I mean it was 10 odd years old and he said that that's about that's about how long they live and uh he said it could have died at any point so um so I've just I've just

Googled it I just wanted to know what the [ __ ] it was um radon is a chemical element okay fine atomic number 86 sure it is a radioactive colorless odorless tasteless gas this sounds [ __ ] terrifying man no it's that's why everybody has these systems because keep it buried under the ground Matt suck it up into your house it's no it's going to leech up anyway that's the point is that so they put these fans in to get it out of there otherwise it's going to build up in the basement and where's fed said that though in Luke's bedroom I mean uh up into the at Up Up Out I don't know mate into the atmosphere that sounds worse though harmless it's contained no it's good man it's all good my neighbor loves it so someone else's problem my neighbors aren't close

Ron is a no like apparently yeah that's what I've heard which doesn't mean that it's always does the right thing or it doesn't mean it's from a good family um but I'm just reading here I just had to click through to find out what the [ __ ] noble gas actually was um any of the gaseous elements etc etc long believed to be unreactive except for Xenon radon and wait for it Krypton hey so that's real apparently Y at least the SN cut you [ __ ] cowards well Zach has doubled down he has come out this week and he has said there [ __ ] is a SN cut he put a photo of it up he can't he can't take it back trolling or if he's he could have just written SN cut on the side of a box

or anything and when there it is it's in that box which is well I mean yeah but like what's he going to do now say no there isn't there isn't one I never movie on the fact that one of Brothers is never going to release it so he's like I say maybe he wants it released cuz there's probably going to be a bit of a paycheck if that version actually gets released yeah that's fair it's like three according to the what he actually posted is is I guess they're like film Real boxes or what do you call those there a technical term for those Dan no film Real boxes all right there you go uh a bunch of those with um canisters real film canisters yeah yeah JL SN cut or director's cut but why would you have director's cut written on the [ __ ] first cut of his film he's pretentious I

put it to you that you wouldn't write that I put it to you Jos Sweden directed that movie so but uh but Snider has has written on top of this photo as he posted it to his Instagram is it real does it exist of course it does is any good no yeah are there any effects in it no no well it's it's 3 and 1 half hours long apparently okay the for reference the actual film that we that came out in cinemas is under 2 hours so yeah I mean the the the shitness of it wasn't that it was too short it was mercifully short I just wanted I walked out of the theater wanting more yeah that's right like like twice as much to be honest is what I wanted yeah but uh so it's it's 3 and 1 half hours long and somebody on

Twitter said uh uh oh it must be a work print because normally films are much longer when when they're uh you know when they A workprint and Z SN responded and said the work print was 6 hours long Jesus Christ I mean I don't know how much you could get out of that story to fill 6 hours 6 hours of Justice League releas that I think because they just kept filming when people having like coffee and stuff yeah it's just been like having a cigarette outside like you seen in those photos maybe it's 6 hours of an assembly where he actually hasn't chosen the take so it's every every take from every angle of every line back to back is 6 hours yes that's that's not a work print well you know what I'm not I don't

have a reference I'm looking at that might may have been the word he used so look I uh I quite like Zack Snider's movie for the most part there's a couple I think are a bit [ __ ] uh but I really like there's a couple that I like legitimately really really like so you know I mean if if people that have seen his [ __ ] work at it or whatever of this I was saying no no no it's [ __ ] it's up there with the best of Snider then yeah I'll take a look but the only people who've seen this are in it right so I mean it's not an unbiased opinion no but they have seen [ __ ] Jos weeden's cut and they were like yeah better than that I one you know I watch stuff that we've made and I and I'm like oh this is great but I'm not going to show it to anyone yeah I will show

everyone every everything I've been in well Luke I mean you say that but I got I got a film sitting right here it's in black and white uh you starring it and uh I put that online if you want I put it online on a heartbeat do it I'm not scared yeah you're scared you're scared no do it releasee the you're scared release the alerson cut I am a bit scared yeah alerson has been cut out of the film actually we did shoot for that film no one knows what we're talking about but we're talking about a controversial film we made in the [ __ ] late '90s but controversial amongst us yeah yeah yeah sorry I'm not implying that this CES any controversy in The Wider the Australian sensors wouldn't allow us to release it I mean they

wouldn't have they wouldn't have they had no idea we' done it yeah but we also we filmed an original ending that got taped over right I was it it got taped over and as well as that too extreme it was it was too extreme it was literally a former host of this podcast getting sucked by guys concurrently and consecutively that happened a lot stuff we film it did but we also filmed a fake behind the scenes where we talked about the making of the movie and um there was a scene where Luke had a knife to his throat I can't remember who was holding the knife and Luke is looking dead into camera and completely dead pan says I agreed to be in this film um of my own of my own free will I wish we still had all that stuff

I think the making of was the best part of that oh probably I wish we never lost that lost the fake taped over forced to tape over by the authorities yeah [ __ ] censored erase that from existence we are sort of Lucky YouTube was not around when we were in the late 90s or unlucky yes yeah could have gone either way I mean YouTube might have been around there was no internet to put it on so because I think back then the re the response to this would have been different like yes and you you'd have to set it to private now but might have been all right back then said it to private I love that that that's that's all that it would say is like yep okay that's uh quite controversial content there he might want to set that to private well I've

recently had to do that with one of our videos that was on YouTube Denny yes yes just in case only a couple of years ago funny this year now not not allowed not allowed actually even a couple of years ago I think we were right on the line then M who knew well who knew it's been set to private and I'm not going to say which one it was listeners if you're familiar with our work you can probably spot it so was it just the one or two uh there were there have been a few that we've removed a while back not for that reason I think I think we just cleaned it up and um I'm not sure actually you know what to be honest I'm not sure what what is and isn't on the on the channel right now just delete our footprint man just

just delete it well the episodes of the podcast are on YouTube now so uh hopefully not the first 50 or so no first 80 uh Missing okay settle down the 80 that Dave was on all right no he's on he's on the first Bunch that are that are up is he he didn't just magically disappear at number 80 he was yeah he was on episode 100 he he slowly raed himself out quite un that's what I mean caring less and less until he didn't care at all so I'm not going to I'm not going to say what the old film that we've been talking about was about but if I could just segue into something here um elong musk calling that guy a pedophile um a judge and jury have gone

yeah he probably is so right the they didn't didn't but I have no idea how he El musk won I tell you how he won i' tell you how he won look at this [ __ ] quote from the jewelry quote I don't want anything to do with this unquote it's because they and I mean this is just defamation law right he had to prove Mo most of his his defense send it we joked about how his defense was I thought he was a pedophile that's that's not it wasn't his actual defense his defense was no no one would reasonably think I was actually accusing him of anything he he he said that he didn't know he was he saw the guy on CNN the guy told said that Elon Musk can shove his submarine where the sun doesn't

shine so Elon Musk was going to insult him on Twitter Googled his name to look look up who he was saw that he lives in the region of Thailand that's known for child sex trafficking and was like oh there you go I'll call him ped guy and then tweeted it and that was it and then thought that would be the end of it and he's like I wasn't accusing him of anything it was just an insult yes I was insulting him because he insulted me yeah the the part I find strange that I understand that part but when he went to hide the prate investigator and was going to expose that's where you're getting into yeah that was because well now this guy started something yeah so that that happened later you know what I mean after the guy threatened to sue him he was like it's

true though because I mean like elon's defense was I didn't think he literally meant he wanted to sodomize me with a submarine and I he didn't think that I me he was literally sodomizing little boys well and one of the jurors actually said uh part of the reason they they found in they ruled in elon's favor is that if if the guy hadn't made a fuss about it they don't think anyone would have even known who the [ __ ] he was talking about but I love how kind of passive aggressive this article is um musk and unsworth have been trading insults last July when unsworth mocked a miniature submarine like it's like oh yeah you've come with a Little Submarine and know look Elon needs to keep his mouth shut on Twitter a little

bit I think I I think you got lucky here yeah yeah definitely definitely yeah uh I'm not saying that this was a clean cut or anything and yeah you're right he did get lucky he does tend to shoot his mouth off a little too quickly uh and and hopefully he doesn't go well if this worked out well for me I can say whatever I want now calling everybody P guy come at me Elon [ __ ] come at me well that was one of his other cuz he he testified and he said that at one point they were talking about you know whether the Tweet was an accusation or whatever and he was like I didn't add guy to the end to make it like a more serious thing like you don't don't call somebody ped guy when you're actually accusing them of something it was it was an it was just a jokey insult yeah George pel's a

PTO guy yeah that's right that's that he's convicted of being a p guy so case closed case closed I actually I didn't think this was going to go in his favor so that's interesting yeah no no I didn't either actually uh because I mean it is one thing to say you can shove your [ __ ] mini submarine up your ass and there is another thing to say well if he's not a pedophile why isn't he suing me which was that's that's that's the other part like yeah the fact that he s double down well he's not sing me so smoke this fire type of thing yeah that's what I I thought it was the second tweet that he was going to he was going to get tripped up on I think uh as well the guy uh what's his

name unsworth unsworth I mean look I'm sure he's a nice guy but he I think he may have gone too far in talking about how just how upset and how much it ruined his life being called like [ __ ] ped guy by Il musk on Twitter like I also think if you had to ask for a smaller amount yeah what what did he ask for $190 million [ __ ] off I mean if you Su an Elon musky might as well go for it but still and he was talking about how like he was you know like they they rescued these kids and people were get he was winning all these Awards and like the [ __ ] royal family made him a gave him a I don't know some night ship or some thing and he like was all ruined cuz Elon Musk called me a ped guy and then I think but if people thought you were they wouldn't be igniting you and

all that [ __ ] yeah I think the jury were rolling their eyes a bit when he was talking about all that so but yeah I think if he had have asked for like 19 million Elon mus would have G his a check just go away yeah yeah maybe well and he got Elon got into a a fight with the lawyer like unsworth lawyer apparently the judge had to bang his little gavl and say quit it because Elon Musk accused the lawyer of just looking for a Payday in court and uh and then cuz he said are you know wasn't the submarine publicity stunt and El was like well isn't this a publicity stunt was like what it's pretty good that's great that's great I mean look the guy unsworth could have just

said listen uh Elon uh thanks for bringing the submarine it's actually too big to fit down this uh little tube uh a person can barely fit so I'm going to go in first we I'll have a go instead of comes over you his [ __ ] sammar [ __ ] you know what I mean like did thing he said that he said on CNN that yeah Elon Musk and shoved the submarine and that Elon Musk had been laughed out of the cave and then I think that didn't that didn't wait hold on hold on hold on Elon wasn't in the submarine in the cave no that's what I mean though and then and then they had a bunch of people testify to say that actually that's not true Elon Musk was there and and they were being very helpful and so that didn't go in his favor either at that point the kids hadn't been rescued so

they were considering any option yes yeah yeah mind you so they've just made a film out of this basically the the day after this the day after this happened everyone in Asia who was in the film industry was like can we get the rights and everyone was approaching including my boss right who do we know who do we know that knows someone that knows someone parents of the kids um the you know the divers anyone everyone was trying to get life rights we want to make the movie um anyway someone did uh most of my friends in Thailand who in the film industry worked on this in one way or other it had its Premiere this week it's called the cave and um the mayor of whatever town this was in uh walked out after 2 minutes 2 minutes

into the film walked out oh God and announced um 2 minutes in and this is already inaccurate left so I I hope some I I don't I don't know who plays Elon Musk but I hope there's a whole scene where Elon Musk you know some guy some thae guy dressed up as Elon Musk rocks up with a miniature submarine I hope wellon musk has been in films maybe he just plays himself he has yeah but he does that's true yeah he's been EP [ __ ] uh Big Bang Theory hasn't he yeah he's too yeah you're the expert Luke yes he has shown up I think I don't know I didn't pay much attention sure you

didn't sure I had to look over and Rewind sometimes to go why are people laughing sometimes I'm crying so much laughter that I just don't notice what's happening yeah I don't know who the guest stars are was tears in my eyes get it too hilarious so look that's good I mean elon's you know he's elon's come out on top again it's good to see [ __ ] the little guy the underdog went out from the change yep um but uh someone else someone else said something uh in uh in the media this week and has quickly taken it back and I I really I'm really found this funny uh Billy D Williams star of uh some of the Star Wars movies as uh Lando calisan um oh aside from that we know Lando kisan's full name now we joked

last week that he had a full name it's not lorean unfortunately damn um but it is does anyone know before I this no no no I know that it was discovered written on the side of a Cane right that he has he hey spoilers isiler is that a spoiler I I think it is wasn't it the can that he has in Solo or am I wait his name is a spoiler I think it this is what this is what I've always found weird about spoilers everything is a spoiler not seen the movie it's not but it's not part of the movie it's just written in ores on the side of a [ __ ] cane that someone's holding as a prop like is that a spoiler all even if it is it's a b Now by what Luke thinks isn't isn't a

relatively colorful character who doesn't take himself or herself too seriously okay uh and you see I say himself and herself because I also see myself as feminine as well as masculine so I guess that's they've latched on to that yeah so he's trying to say he's s metrosexual I think well he goes on to clarify what I was referring to was about men getting in touch with their feminine sze I wasn't talking about sex or being gay or straight and he went on to say not gay not gay yeah yeah yeah he said just to clarify I identify as a man not gay so he likes to leave hopefully that was clear just in case you wondering is he is he an old man he he and he made that very clear not gay not gay um do you

guys uh I I know not neither of you are probably into M lore right but you guys aware of mmore I'm familiar with the name heard the name but I don't know if I've heard of anything M lore is an American rapper white white rapper very is he one of the Mumble rappers uh no no he's way better than that don't worry okay no no speech impediment when I honest God I don't even it's like music to these days when I listen to like [ __ ] someone in my office will just put on the radio it's like when we were in high school in music class and there were kids that just had literally no interest in music that had to turn in an assignment at the end of the [ __ ] term yeah and so they put the least amount of effort in possible and it's the least musical thing you can think of

and that's [ __ ] Mumble rap but no know what mum rap is but just keep it that way I'm not even going to explain it to you I'll figure it out Al or I won't you will you will not be in any way like your life will not be changed for knowing it or Not by Mumble rep but um but uh mmore uh was was very famous for about a year uh less famous now but he had this song called Same Love which was his like anthem for like supporting like LGBT right okay yeah mhm but every time he mentioned it it's okay to be gay I'm not let that be clear but it is okay like constantly constantly throughout the song me doesn't that sort

of lose it sort of yeah that sort of heartfelt part about it like it's okay I'm not God don't get me wrong I'm not it's okay you are Jesus no oh no don't you dare call me one don't you dare not that there's anything wrong with that I I just thought of this just because uh we grew up in an area uh where that was being gayar what Matt says next no no no so okay so we grew up unfortunately in a place in a time where being called Gay was an insult uh yeah and not just an insult it was literally the worst thing you could possibly be yes and that's unfortun the culture of time but the other night I was cooking last night I made uh uh dumplings and in

the recipe I was reading reading the recipe and I had to make it it referred to it as a cornstarch slurry and I so I started laughing and I said to Jenna I'm like i' got to I've got to make a slurry and she she looked at me like and she goes she like what okay and I was like slurry and I realized that I don't know if anyone else in the whole [ __ ] world use slurry as an insult no I'm pretty sure that is Western Sydney slurry and I and then she's like the [ __ ] does that mean I'm like well it's like like a [ __ ] but but worse like a like a dirty [ __ ] yeah like a [ __ ] slurry like a [ __ ] that doesn't even know she's a [ __ ]

so that's a weird insult that we uh that we had that yeah I guess it's true yeah not allowed to call people anything like that anymore I think I could probably could call people slur they wouldn't know what I was talking about well we uh we nicknamed a guy spoof when we were in the Seattle many years ago it we were using the word spoof and a guy an American overheard us uh for those of you who don't know which is probably most of you spoof was a colloquialism again in Western Sydney in the '90s that meant jizz right yeah okay so SE Seaman we were using that more on that later we were using that uh colloquialism and uh this american guy who was in Us in the line we were at p uh he was like uh oh uh can I be

spoof and we were like y you're spoof now that's your name I think we were giving people nicknames right and we were joking that oh his nickname could be spoof and then we were laughing and then he was like oh can I be spoof yeah sure mate yeah yeah yeah the spoof Meister that's the name of this podcast obviously the spoof Meister the spoof Meister yeah so yeah I made a slurry Billy D Williams not gay definitely not gay was it a nice slurry what do people call each other now like as an insult where you're not allowed to call each other gays and Slots what you I think now um it's called being a white

male boomers are getting it I've noticed Boomers yeah I I heard someone recently say I don't even know how to phrase this that if you're from the baby Booter generation and you get called a boomer they said that that's the same they get that same feeling as when African amans get called the nword and I put it to you that is not the case [Laughter] no because I mean and and if the answer is not already obvious which it should be but it's because when when these [ __ ] Millennials God I'm glad I'm not either of these by the way I'm glad we're Gen X slip Luke's one of them

yeah I it depends which which who's 1980s the cut off where down some others say 81 say 81 who says show me some evidence L Luke says I do yeah yeah but the the reason the reason that Millennials make fun of the Baby Boomers is because they have it so good you know they kind of acknowledging okay you're on top of the [ __ ] world and we don't like that I don't I don't times better yeah you do yeah you haven't had to go to war for starters yeah you haven't eaten food rations um yeah but people weren't calling African-Americans the nword because they thought we got to take these guys down a p they are on top of the world no no that's true

yeah same thing no don't think so anyway no but I did I do think it's funny so I uh did I did I say this on the podcast already I did a shoot at a high school a few weeks ago you might want to expand upon that because I was shooting of fing um yes I did a job for the Department of Education Singapore and we were filming in a high school and um the the thing that kids say quite a lot now is don't trigger bro don't trigger don't trigger really which means like calm the [ __ ] down and don't take it so seriously which I actually quite like because like we had this whole thing of like oh yeah yeah you know oh you can't you can't you can't blame someone when they're [ __ ] offended triggered that's them it's up to them to be offended whereas

now it's like calm the [ __ ] down so the pendulum is swung back the other way that's interesting yeah H it's a terrible time to be alive yeah I think it always it's really not it's not it's not it's really not we're fine we we are fine we are fine this is the greatest time ever yeah because we're not Boomers we're not that's the worst thing people get get worked up people get worked up over everything and we do have it so good and that's why they get worked up over everything cuz they can now just 100 years ago you you couldn't because you dying of starvation yeah that's right you had no teeth armed best oh my God uh famous for portraying the character the much beloved character jaob Bings uh I still it's he is actually much beloved and it still

confuses me to this day well uh that's true because George Lucas was right and the kids that watched The Phantom Menace as kids grew up and apparently they think that's normal and good to like J Binks uh so armad best is now going to be hosting a Star Wars themed game show on Disney as J or as himself I don't think so I think just as himself just as they are throwing him a bone here aren't they yeah well he went through I we've discussed this probably a bunch of times but over deep depression because he he worked really hard on that character apparently really hard he and George spent a lot of time on Jaa and it did not not only that but George was constantly whispering in his ear this is the first CGI character in the history

of Cinema like where we're taking this to the next level together hand in hand you are going to be a big star George's plan was jaar was basically going to get his role is going to get bigger each of the movies I'll say this though Jedi Temple challenge sounds a bit [ __ ] and I probably won't be watching this pretty sure we're not the target audience that's a children's show and uh that's that's fine that you won't be uh that would be it I mean it's going to be one of these shows that's going to be on in the afternoon that that kids are going to watch and they're going to be upset that they're not on unless I was when I was unless you're a British cave diver the show's not for you you you're specifically talking about uh double dare aren't you Luke yes I

am I was also incorrect so wanted to be on I never understood why anyone didn't say physical challenge either answer the question to get point or go in this [ __ ] obstacle course I'll will take the obst every time so if there's some wonder if there's some episodes of that online I do want to watch something I do want to do want to see that again and relive how old do we think the kids are Now who grew up on because obviously the the kids who saw you know the original Star Wars are now in their 40s and 50s the prequels and they're in their 20s okay so that's that must be who the target audience for this show is Jedi Temple challenge because no this one's going to be their kids but then why is ited best because it's like why do kids why do little kids care abouted best

I think it's just I think it is really just throwing him a bone yeah fair enough like I mean probably maybe he's a very good host who knows we'll have to I'm sure he will be I'm not saying he's not going to be a good host yeah but yeah this is probably going to be for the people who grew up watching the Clone Wars oh no no they're old now yeah Clone Wars is at least 10 years old now right oh I think it's even older like a lot older well Phantom Manis came out in 1999 Jesus Christ so I know right the cartoon we were 19 and 18 respectively um so it's I guess 10 years younger than that that would have been or I guess even younger than that 15 14 15 years younger than us they

would they'd be the kids yep oh well enjoy like make best kids um we didn't but maybe you will we pass we pass the did they did they love yeah no it's true it's true I watched it with Brandon once and he [ __ ] he laughed every time J every time he steps in the poopy oh yeah have you seen there's a video online um this kind of creative agency in America um made this clip it's just about 5 minutes long but of just if Star Wars was R-rated and basically they just no not sexual Luke okay calm down I've seen that yeah I'm sure you have um no but they basically just like people are getting shot left right and center and there's no there's no actual violence in it like there's no blood you know there's no

wounds so um there there they basically put the blood and gore in and of course there's one where uh where he gets caught up in that energy beam while he's fixing that car and just explodes but the actual the the B that of the worst and by the worst I mean the best are the order 66 scenes where they're just [ __ ] Troopers standing around one Jedi just shooting right yeah once you put a [ __ ] squib like a [ __ ] gunshot wound for every laser beam that hits that person yeah it's [ __ ] brutal oh okay here here are some Jaa [ __ ] quotes I've just found okay okay oh saying some some offensive stuff on Twitter I just think showing that how his character could have been a bit

offensive back then Misa called juder Binks Misa your humble servant oh this is that nonsense where they think he's like a like a kind of M kind of character but I mean rude he's played by I I think you got to believe the actor when he says absolutely not that is not what we were going for uh and I would never do that as because I mean he's a he's a black actor he's he's been pretty adamant that when people say that that like oh he's a racial stereotype and he's like no absolutely he's not I think where I think where it comes from is because there were so many racial stereotypes in that movie well that's the were there this is a cuz this conversation has been had on on uh a lot

as well were there well I mean think think the nordian yeah but see nordian W okay but the neans right if you actually I mean I get the It's The End Result that matters but the nordans is a transan actor who they then had I think some Thai voice actors read his lines attempting to do his accent because they wanted it to sound weird and alien and it came out sounding like aese yeah exactly like a character ship and but I it's not what they were going for I guess no and I think the other argument in FA not in favor of but the thing that may maybe makes this not as bad as it was is that uh like a minstral show is a white actor painted up in black face

portraying a black AR best is black so if even if he is doing like a humble servant type of voice [ __ ] surely that's within his rights I wasn't even going down this way I'm just going about how terrible uhoh big goober fish oh you just talking about how yeah fair enough you guys know that ared best also wrote directed and produced a TV show based on his own life called this can't be my life Jesus that's what he was going through a hard time wasn't it it sounds like it doesn't it yeah and that was him at his best his his armed best oh Christ okay we we should all go out and watch his little quiz show oh my God Jesus

one episode ahead of me on the Mandalorian um you'd seen four and I'd only seen three I'm assuming now we've all seen five I just watched five about an hour ago so Luke uh I really liked five I thought five was good uh and I thought it was uh it was good to be back to that kind of episode structure cuz I thought in many ways episode 4 was a bit [ __ ] really uh yes and I liked I have the opposite opinion last week when I thought this one was a bit see when you were saying last week that the story line was garbage and and I was like no it's not come on come on and then I saw four I thought oh okay you must be talking about this no I'm still just talking about the whole thing makes no

sense and he's stupid but I love it can I uh can I bring okay so the reason I didn't like episode 4 episode 4 is the one Pocahontas right it's where he lands on a [ __ ] remote [ __ ] picturesque Planet falls in love with Pocahontas and then has to fend off some some other creatures right yeah um bit on the nose to me to be honest I thought like the fact that they were this peaceful Village and all perfect I like even in even in Dances with Wolves which is basically what they ripped off for it like yeah there were still [ __ ] and they still fought amongst themselves it's just a little too on the nose it just too on the nose was two in the I also what I think you can startle an atat apparently sorry an atst but you

can startle one and it it can [ __ ] it's an animal now apparently there's no one trying it it's just it it is sentient apparently you can distract it you can it can you can go to take a step and then it can it could like shrink back like what is this what are we watching I I honestly think the the reason for that episode was actually to try and show time passing MH mhm to actually try and spread so cuz at the moment sort of been sort of sort of fastpac but there's no real concept of how long it's been whereas this one it sort of makes out that he's been living there for a while and settled for a little bit so I think it's just trying to just show time passing in the universe maybe see I don't want to I I I I get those complaints that's fine I

quite enjoyed episode 4 actually but I found and because we can't talk spoilers about episode 5 really yet it's not the right time no thought four was better than five thought five was quite [ __ ] to be honest yeah I thought five was quite strange I at least thought look it's certainly not the best episode but episode four was just so fluffy and okay I don't know just it's just the tone was all off for me it was just a completely different tone and now people are episode 5 people are shooting each other in the back again and I'm like okay this is this is what I signed up for yeah but I think it's also they're just trying to also show a bit more of his character a little bit try and build that up a bit more so let's let's stay on that for a sec right okay M okay

so he gets to this little village and there's this beautiful woman there who takes a shine to him immediately um she's never seen his face cuz they have a discussion about his he doesn't take his helmet off I mean he takes it off standing in a window to eat a sandwich um while kids so that finally explained how he eats which Tak it off fine um yeah so if someone wanded in they would see him with it off mhm yep oh if one of those kids just looked up from their [ __ ] game of socer whatever I did I thought that as well like he 5 me away the window about that episode just graded me the wrong way but here's the thing she thought baby Yoda was his son she said it on a number of occasions that she thought that was his son and he never corrected her so my

question is does she think he's a weird green Yoda thing under that helmet Love Is Love there is literally no indication that she would like she would have to be stupid to assume he wasn't that does she say like she calls him your son your boy your baby like at no point I me it is his baby I guess like so you see a man with a baby right and you're just like H that yeah I'm just going to I'm just going to assume it's not and then that's okay yes I mean fair enough yeah but maybe she didn't want to offend him you should be like you get you from yeah no where' you get from that's what I mean if she is she the logic The Logical conclusion that she would come to was that it's his baby sure but remember this is the one thing you have to do you have to give up logic watching

this if you try and reading honestly episodes three I was perfectly willing to go with the kind of slightly weird stuff but episode 4 there was just too much wrong with it I couldn't I think so far every episode is like if if someone was playing a weekly star was a role playing game that's that's what these feel like to me I'm not complaining about it cuz that's that's fine but they are very like every single one and like I'm not going to talk spoilers particularly I found five to be on the nose in this regard everyone has to have a little like remember these like like atst for example in episode 4 and then just all of them have like stuff like that and then five just [ __ ] piled it on but oh yeah I was about to say five

had as much as episode one which had too many yeah yeah I think I went bit over the top again shoehorned in for like remember this yeah which we don't we don't need I understand maybe the first couple episodes but now you can let it stand on its own but I'm upset we've only got three more episodes I know it's quite short oh [ __ ] is that all there's only eight episodes this season they only half an hour long which is also B no it's sort of weird cuz like episode falls about 40 minutes oh was it so so yeah each episode is just as long as it needs to be type of thing they're not sticking to the what I say Alles to be long as it needs to be to

be any long is a waste so um uh Ryan Johnson wants to Direct One no and I don't know why this guy has the [ __ ] stones after everything trolling he's trolling surely I feel like if I was him I wouldn't even [ __ ] mention Star Wars ever again well he got he he went to the set of episode of of the first season yeah look of people like he's still very much a part of but no one knows how well I think he honestly has this thing where he doesn't and I've seen this on on Twitter and and everywh all the time like people don't get that like there are people who just don't like the Last Jedi not because we hate women like this this like it's like I don't know people who like it or I don't even know if it's

the right like never heard anyone say they like it I'm still 5050 on it there's Parts I love and there's Parts I hate me too but then I there was an article the other day that was about how oh Luke Skywalker was a flawed character in The Last Jedi and that's why all the [ __ ] people who don't like it don't like it like no stop it just wasn't very good movie The Script was terrible it was badly directed why I don't know it's it's like a weird I guess cuz it's Star Wars it's like this weird thing where people have to find some strange reason why we didn't like it no we just didn't like it yeah it just wasn't any good and we didn't like it wasn't a very good movie but I'm just trying to think like is Ryan Johnson cuz he's still he's still talking about his Trilogy he's now

trying to say he wants to direct seems just C be but maybe DIY just can't they're just too nice to say look sorry you're not getting this they're not discussing it anymore are they what I'm saying is there's people like these people I'm getting getting weird about it too now no I don't want to be like a generalizing like like everyone else seems to be but I think they they don't understand that people have legitimate criticisms of of Ryan Johnson like and I don't think he does either anymore I think he's bought into the fact that oh it's just a bunch of RAC you know what I mean and so I agree with you I think that yeah I think he he is still angry that we don't like his film because he thinks we don't like it for [ __ ] reasons where we actually just

don't like it because it wasn't very good and some people like do have weird reasons for not liking it and [ __ ] those people but also like I don't know I feel like it got weird it's like like the ghost the new Ghostbusters the 2016 Ghostbusters it's like you can't criticize that that film anymore because they made it about weird [ __ ] I feel like Last Jedi is the same thing basically just can't talk about that film anymore without yeah yeah that's right weird one of the things I well one things like the things that confuse me is hyper space travel is now so confusing that slow space Chase where the Imperials can't catch up to them but then Rose and that can go off to another planet and come back but M hyperspace made sense what Rose

whole story he was too busy being gender fluid leaking all over his ship oh so much fluid um but I but here's the thing and Luke's right they he almost touched on some really good points that there are a lot of people who aren't the Rebellion or the Empire that they're just [ __ ] War profiteers just trying to stay out of it and make a buck like that's great this [ __ ] that the same weapons manufacturers arm both sides I mean that [ __ ] is really real you know what I mean like y probably could have explored that in a more interesting way than yeah that's right throwing it in there forget it also just I just missed the mark don't sacrifice yourself that's not worth it oh she sacrificed herself yay

a bit longer to stay uh in space I know I'm so upset by this so the G the Star Wars Galactic star Cruiser hotel at Disney world it's not going to be at Disneyland it's only going to be at Disney World Well for now anyway mind you that is one that's closest to your house Matt so that's true but it's not closest to you guys is it I don't think of it's close I'm I'm prepared to travel anywhere for this well you have to travel the space in 2021 it opens 2021 2021 and apparently I thought it was opening next year is this thing going to be underground is that how this works because the the premise as as described is that you you kind of enter what the lobby is like a Spaceport and then to get to your room you got to go on a fake

space shuttle ride to the space and it seems like it doesn't have any real Windows all the windows are going to be screens yep oh so it's like you're traveling through space so you open the window and it's like space so is this is it underground I guess I think it might be it might as well be I suppose yeah can I just say though I mean staying in a Star Wars themed hotel I mean whilst that might sound cool and everything you've just described sounds pretty [ __ ] awesome but at the same time I've never looked at any of the dwellings of any kind in Star Wars and thought to myself that looks comfortable like I'm looking at the [ __ ] schematics of this and I'm like yeah it looks like Star Wars but why

would I want to sleep there I know actually it's probably going to be quite cheap to furnish it also looks incredibly CR like like spaceships are yeah they're going to make sure they can fit as many people in there yeah they need all the money I will give it to them need all the money it's true they do need it they do need it yeah so uh I guess 2020 we going there and this is the one where it's it's all immersive apparently there's going to be like an area where you can go and train with a lightsaber and stuff and you have to stay it's like like the whole thing is like you have to stay a minimum of two nights so you can actually experience it everything you wait you'll have to buy the lightsaber

first and only people that buy the lightsaber and only people that buy the deluxe edition get to go to the [ __ ] okay I am buying it all [ __ ] storm burst in at 2 a.m. search your room yeah Searcher well I want all IM I want that immersive I I want a stormtrooper immersed inside of me yeah I think I think getting [ __ ] by a stormtrooper is a good segue into teasing for our special edition episode that'll be coming up in a little while yeah yeah you guys you guys demanded it and so we uh we did it we did a Star Wars we did episode um I looked on I think every episode is a Star Wars Episode to be honest that's true that's that is true uh I I I tried to find someone to animate uh our uh you know Star Wars
