you're using the butt plug and you've got it in your hand yes how was it well I haven't actually used it for any butt stuff yet I've used it as a magic eight ball okay and as a paperweight I'm glad you said yet as a magic eight ball does it work it does okay it could be a little bit better I think it could give you better answers or you keep asking it if you should shove it up your ass keep saying yes of not now then when when yeah I don't know the B bu beit I think it's I don't know just it's not the best quality the butt plug beit looks very high quality but the eight ball which I got it for I'm a little disappointed I think the eight ball is the part though that will be under the least amount of stress right

ovipositor the the opositor see the thing is though what was the cost of a average obosit I don't know I don't check my credit card statements Dan I think um I need probably something a bit cheaper to review next time maybe you could borrow one there's a YouTube video we looked because we were discussing this we looked it up there was there were some people present who said what is what is that thing yeah um there's a couple of videos on YouTube of people uh using it to to drink jello shots for those of you who haven't been listening as long as others the osit is a dildo that's shaped like an alien penis that lays gelatinous eggs in you you then proceed to give birth to them yeah it's got these uh

you know hint hint you got anything you want to wrap up before we uh you know and then I was like forget it let's just go like otherwise I'll be here forever and I got little and I was like oh it hurts but it's done we've got to finish this obviously I was talking about the overos yeah that's that's right yeah I've just noticed that they're $120 us so and without dollar at the moment yeah man what's with the US dollar bouncing back what the [ __ ] that about cuz when I look at America they look like they're in real trouble you know sure and then I look at their dollar which is like we're at [ __ ] 60 or something it's ridiculous lot long ago we were like a dollar five yeah man I've not seen it this low for a while anyway that's uh that's multiple Finance gasm for you

yeah yeah well look while we're on the subject of financial things and and that kind of deal we'll revisit one of our favorite websites kickstarter.com is that thing still around hasn't that imploded on itself yet it's time and time again it doesn't work I addicted to kick it's really bad yeah I backed something recently again wow you know guys the reason we have this recurring segment is because Kickstarter is just [ __ ] and proves it time and time again no one's ever happy we started a Kickstarter and we ended up in the red well this is an interesting story but we delivered this is yeah this is a bit of an education as well because we we did we had we had some problems with it and we delivered yeah we did yeah a Kickstarter that we discussed on this very podcast at the

time was very successful and that was a Kickstarter for the coolest cooler Y and that is or in Australia it's called the edgiest esy yeah that's right and this was a yeah an ESI or an ice chest or whatever the [ __ ] you want to call it that has like call cool as most places except for New Zealand where they call them a chili bin a chili bin well it's uh it's one of them with a bunch of Bluetooth speakers and and stuff it's basically a party in a box yeah it's yeah it's a picnic without the food but you put the food in it but you put yeah they you boio food and friends and this will do the rest stupid idea that's impractical well look it was very successful uh and they sold a shitload of them however it turns out that they

didn't charge people enough money for him so uh and you know classic Kickstarter mistake that we did the same thing we offered a bun we offered a bunch of t-shirts and stuff like that naively charged about the cost of a T-shirt and then had no money left over to make it's because we're too honest the video Yeah and look I'm sure these guys were the same these guys knew if they charge too much for it no one was kicking in they made it affordable people kicked in and they went okay well that's actually not enough for us to make one for each of you we're going to have to actually take this to Market yeah so they said the the one of the biggest problems was that um the in addition to the kickstarter 5% the kickstarter payment processor in in a

lot of cases Amazon or some other company also take 3 to 5% and they didn't know that and so they lost a big chunk of change on that um and so what they've done apparently uh this update is as of November so it's not the most timely update but at that time they still had not fulfilled all the orders from Kickstarter people were still waiting for it um except they've now had to start selling it on Amazon for 500 bucks I think at the kickstarter there were only a couple hundred yeah um they''re now selling them I think pre-order either or some Kickstarter people are going to be really pissed off on Amazon for 500 bucks to try and get enough money to finish making the [ __ ] things and let me guess the people that kicked in are angry because regular

people get to have them now too of course man yeah Kickstarter back is no matter what I found even even the the projects that have gone the smoothest there's always a handful of people who get annoyed and they're the only ones that comment yeah of course same with anything on the internet if if everyone's happy no one says anything yeah you'd never know what it even happened yeah exactly we often say you know listeners and I'll say it right now if you wouldn't mind if you like the show please go on to iTunes and give us a positive review because if I don't say that you won't think of it that's right you just won't however if we piss you off you listen to the show go what a bunch of [ __ ] one star thankfully that's never happened and that is not an excuse

for you to go and do it listeners seriously though it would be nice if you gave us a a rating on iTunes that would be lovely I'm talking to you by the way you you know who you are I'm sorry I'll install iTunes again it seems kind of you know unethical for me to do it not you oh the listener I'm talking to knows who I'm talking about okay good don't pretend you don't stop looking at the person next to you they don't have the headphones in yeah they have no idea what you they just think you're a [Laughter] weirdo so yeah so the uh the cool is cooler uh encountered the same problems we did but on a much more uh Troublesome scale I'm just looking at their site so to get the cooler in the kickstarter was going to be $185 and they were thinking that was

going to be a saving of$ 115 so they were thinking retail price was going to be $29 9 on Amazon now they are $4.99 I would never ever pay $500 for a cooler no matter how cool the cooler was I'm not paying 185 for a cooler well that's right I don't own a cooler and I I have no I don't need one I live in Australia and I don't need one it's [ __ ] hot here yeah well actually when we liveed fridge yeah exactly somebody gave h a cooler and she was like what am I going to do with this no look on on the odd occasion right when I'm somewhere and it's really hot and it's like man I wish we had something to put the beer in someone's got one like I don't need to have one yeah' never been at the point where you're like [ __ ] I

wish we had a cooler right now I've I've never bought one anyway so there you go Kickstarter you know it's fun I mean I've gotten some cool stuff from there Luke you've gotten some cool you got a lot of board games from there a lot of board games and i' I haven't been burnt on a board game yet okay I got I got burnt on those oh sort of burnt on those headphones I've discussed that before that's the worst example I've had just where they were a bit I I think a bit unethical but my worst example was a total success I uh I you got it and it was [ __ ] well I got it and I realized I didn't actually really need one and I just kind of got swept up by a good Kickstarter video you know what was it it was like a stylus that's a paintbrush so you can paint straight onto your iPad

and I was like that's cool and then when I got it I was like I don't paint like this is I don't own an iPad this is what I do I it's only useful to me if I want to do a painting have facted a few uh games like uh video games that I'm a little worried about oh man video games here's the problem with video games you don't know who the [ __ ] on the other end of that Kickstarter and how useless they are well even when you do I back that video game thimble weed park or whatever it is oh yeah yeah I back that yeah that that's still coming well yeah I'm Still Holding Out for that we'll see I backed a couple that are still in development and I think it video games are tough that's why I think it's a hard sell for me now video games are Hard Sell and kick I think in general they

are for people now because people everyone's been burnt by it because it's a video game is a kind of an Airy fairy thing at the beginning like like you know it's not it's not very clearly defined and especially they haven't started working on it yet like I think and you get people who think they can make a game yeah yeah and then they will find out no I can't yeah they find out very quickly that they can't cuz I know understand cuz I'm I'm a software developer during the day and it is difficult because [ __ ] just does you know things [ __ ] happens and it's one of you know and I'm it's the same with anything I'm sure Dan you would agree it's the same with film making and everything like that absolutely and I've kicked into some people's short film

kickstarters just because I know they're not actually going to make their budget and I'm not going to have to actually be charged yeah unless it's Indiegogo one thing I did back recently which I think is pretty awesome it's uh joking haard have you seen this I was at the sin and happiness game yes happiness coming out game it's a bit like to me it's like Cards Against Humanity yeah right you got to finish the comic strip yeah you play you draw a card from the deck and that's it's a comic strip and then you got play your favorite cards to try and make something funny oh well that does sound good yeah it'll I'm sure it'll be fun I hopefully it's not see I enjoy Cards Against Humanity but I enjoyed it a lot more before you knew what all the cards were yeah and I find now it's well

when I play with a group of people if everybody's already played it as much as I have then it's fine cuz it's kind of like the cards don't do the work anymore you've got to be clever but but if you're playing in a group and a couple of people have never played it before it's just too unpredictable because someone could play a sequence of cards that actually makes no sense but because it says Pac-Man uncontrollably gol and come that wins sometimes I get a bit thing that I hate about it and I don't want to sound like a hipster I liked it better before everyone was playing I mean for that reason everyone's posting pictures of like their funny card runs on Facebook and it's like yeah we get it you've got Cards Against Humanity we've all got

that shut up but that's more of a problem I've got with Facebook than with Cards Against Humanity so that's why I don't go on Facebook very often yeah I find people posting pictures of generally anything these days is annoying yeah that's true when you live overseas you you find yourself gone what's uh what's everyone doing oh being outraged about stuff Dan that's right these days it's it's either motivational Stu or outrage I'll tell you something that is outrageous it's this story about this Hospital worker who stole a bunch of toys that were intended for sick children yeah so that he could give them to his kids for Christmas yeah so uh Brian problem at briano oh we're naming names wow hey it's in the article we're going to link to the article I'm gonna

say his name I didn't add him the police did uh yeah he works at uh at a hospital and worked at our Hospital uh and apparently on two separate occasions uh once in December and again again in January yeah new New Year's present he stole Xbox gaming systems and other toys from a storage area he got Lego yeah yeah he got some Lego at some point yeah the toys were fenced in a secure area but uh it was an innocent mistake he was Wheeling a refrigerator into the cage and accidentally put all the toys in it and then and accidentally gave them all to his kids and then accidentally at home yeah honest mistake I I sort of feel a little bad for him cuz really well for for him stealing it once I feel a little bad for him why well it's just because he was like money hard kids

Christmas I but yeah he went back these kids are probably going to die anyway but the fact he went back and stole more I think makes it worse yeah you got Jud I'm queuing up the jingle while the other brothers are doing time listen up it's C crimes now you've got some experience in this in a way Luke cuz you spent a lot of time in in hospital as a child I expect Christmases in hospital I do not condone stealing toys from children in hospital can you imagine Luke that used to be me can you imagine if on on Christmas morning you were in hospital and you woke up and you get this Xbox shaped box right sat there and you're like it's my [ __ ] Xbox and you rip it open and it's just air because cuz someone stole it somehow out of theing papx out of the box yeah somehow

somehow evaporated it from inside that would that would I would lose the will to live you hear that listeners what you giving listeners ideas on how to kill me how would you have gotten away with this oh I wouldn't have done it no the problem he the reason he got done is he went back he got greedy oh I think he might have got done anyway no if he had just got in and out the first time yeah I mean that's true was it that he only got caught the second time because what what's in January kid's birthday like yeah he just got greedy and he's probably going to go start going back over and over again and that's where people go wrong you get in you get out it doesn't say how he was caught I assume you know obviously this is all allegedly allegedly because we

don't want to be get in trouble but I mean it seems says that he confessed so I don't think I don't know I don't know that we're going to get in much trouble right he was so overcome with guilt for the fact that he stole from needy children yeah maybe but then wouldn't you just not have done it the second time I mean kind of been I feel guilty once again it comes back second time yeah exactly because it wasn't like he did it 2 years in a row right he did it for Christmas and then in January he's like my kids are going to want more toys at some stage i' I've set the bar too high whereas if he had a for Christmas no one may have noticed he had five kids and they got an Xbox each to say don't steal the best gifts just you know if you're so poor your kids aren't going to

be expecting much cuz it does say he stole Xbox gaming systems like plural like come on I mean I've got two in the house but I paid for them yes yeah I've got a few in the house that I paid for them as well yeah a few why did you say a few I've got two Xbox On's and two Xbox 360s all right same I thought you were going and an Xbox yeah yeah same I thought you were going to implying that you had even more I've got a PS3 and a bunch of other [ __ ] as well yeah yeah I've got all that stuff as well yeah what a waste of money all that was yep I bought a PlayStation 3 haven't plugged it in yet I didn't I played journey I did want to play Journey not enough to get a PlayStation 3 though actually I got to say I got to say I actually I swapped a case of beer to get the PS3

and it was worth it thanks Carl thanks Carl if he's listening he probably is love you Carl love you tell you what game I'm really looking forward to Fable Legends I can't wait for this to come out I'm just I would maybe stop getting too excited about that what do you mean what do you mean a this guy [ __ ] steal Fable Legends as well every copy and gave them to no no I'm sure he couldn't have gotten all of them I I'll find one somewhere as soon as it's released of course well if you're hurry you might be able to get on and play the beta oh I don't I don't want to play the beta I just I'm going to I'm going to wait I don't you know I'm pretty excited and it's it's taking some uh some self-control but I'm going to wait I want to play it you know when

it's finished well Microsoft have screwed you over a little bit I'm sorry oh I know that but uh but when it comes to Fable Legends they' really screwed you over Microsoft have announced that they're shutting down developer lion head Studios all right so what some other Studios going to finish it off no it it's it's cancelled it's uh it's cancelled canell a game that's in in beta and nearly finished is cancelled yep that's how bad it was wow has anyone played the beta I obviously I was being stupid and I knew this I'm in the beta but I haven't actually played it that's how good it is well I I used to sign up for Betas left and right until I worked out that I don't like playing them I'll just wait for the full game to come out where I can get

achievements but I haven't heard any anything good about Fable Legends game no one wanted I never really played the Fable games anyway I had a bit of look but this wasn't like them this this was a bit different it's a it's a what 4v1 I think it was where one person was kind of the the the dungeon master and the other four had to try and get through his dungeon and so how do I explain the bad guy say controls the dungeon itself and places monsters and stuff and the other Heroes have to fight their way through to try and beat the other guy does that make sense yeah mhm so but I don't know it's it it looked cool in the early videos so I what was wrong with it one of the things that I think that might have got helped get rid of this is um no one really likes the 4v1

games they're not they're not really pulling people like like evolve evolve I didn't like evolve much they're getting about 500 people a day playing that yeah I'm not I'm not that into that I tried it I've got it I've yeah into it I played it once and I think it was just that same type of thing that all people really want just give us Fable four yeah definitely everyone would have been fine with that but now you had to try something new which sometimes trying something new is good but not this time well I guess a bunch of developers are just out on the street with nowhere to go and uh well they might not be well they're going to have to steal toys from from kids in the hospital for Christmas this year Sony has sort of reached out to them a little bit

and just gone hey guys uh we're going to hold an event in Guilford where you're based and uh come along and have a chat with us what is that mean that's so yeah I mean that's pretty vague yeah well it is vague cuz I'm they're not going out and saying hey we're going to hire you all on we're going to take over your shio they basically want to go in and pick the CRI of the crop and bring him across the Sony yeah it's like an audition yeah oh we're hosting a game Jam in your area come along and they going to get lot of applicant since a lot of people just got laid off yeah totally but it's a shame to see Lon head go they've made some great games over the years yeah totally black and white oh man where's Black and White 2 Black and White 2 came out

three oh I think wasn't that in development I don't know that for a fact I feel like maybe it was but I'm sure there was black and white too but that game was fun the first one when you beat up your tiger yeah called my tiger throwing villagers into the ocean cuz I had accidentally thrown a villager into the ocean while I had the training leash on and if you've never played this game this will make no [ __ ] sense but uh it doesn't make a huge amount of sense even if you had it was a fun game it was weird but fun basically you were God and you could be an [ __ ] to people that was the way I played it anyway they really used to like making God games yeah Peter molu likes making God games yeah he also likes making things up let's move on all right so Lon head's

gone fav Legends is cancelled but some good games did come out this month yeah they what you guys been playing I've been playing uh quite a bit of the division mhm I picked that up but I haven't started it yet what do you think Luke I'm liking it okay I can see myself getting bored of it very quickly though yeah I I think I know what you mean I think the main story I'm going to enjoy going through that yeah and then I think it's going to get to a point and a lot sooner than I'd probably like where it's just here go grind to get new yeah yeah it's uh it's it's it's an MMO you know that Dan kind of it's It's massively multiplayer and it is fun and we should we should actually all play together at some point if we can ever

figure out what Dan's new Xbox username is tell us I'm not going to tell you part of the challenge all right fine first one to find me gets a prize is that are you that listeners I'm out there I'm out there yeah so you play uh in this kind of open world I had a weird situation um to do with that and at first I was like oh I don't know if I like this so I've been playing it mostly just by myself yeah going around doing stuff and I've kind of I kind of got into a into the swing of things and I had like a sniper rifle uh and then an assault rifle and I was you know being stealthy and sneaking my way through and it was in the middle of this Mission you know sneaking my way through and then all of a sudden it came up and it said um I W name people a

bunch of people joined my game y like a bunch of people and then all of a sudden the warehouse that I was in where I was like you know hiding behind some crates a bunch of people just burst in and just started shooting the place up like [ __ ] yeah let's do this who yeah yeah [ __ ] the division yeah like you know which is fine cuz they're having some fun playing a multiplayer game but I wasn't like I just wasn't in that head space and so it really like I was very immersed at the at the beginning and it just pulled me right out of it because I was like w all right guys so I don't know it was weird I found out since then you can put on um privacy mode I assume that means that people can't burst in and and do that but I mean yeah apparently you can apparently you can do

that and so that's not to say that that the multiplayer isn't fun it's just that I wasn't expecting it see I've I think we for some reason I think we're in this age group that we just don't care about the multiplayer side like we we skipped the MMOs we didn't really get into that that and now all these games are coming out with Co-op we sort of we like our single player story missions we like our Fallout I really do prefer single player games cuz I'm very narrative driven personally like I like the story and so I feel like yeah when in one of these games when you get a massive group of people blasting through a mission like it seems like everyone's just kind of like I don't worry about the story like just let's just shoot these guys and I'm like oh that's not really why I'm here

you know I don't know no no no I'm I'm the same I'm I think I might like play this a bit Co-op like play with you maybe Dan if I can ever work out his gamer tag I think that could be fun I think like I said if we if we all if it was organized and we were like let's go do this Mission together it would be different it was just such a weird situation because like I said middle a mission I was very focused and kind of you know immersed in the game and then yeah it's like all my friends burst in like what are you doing oh come on let's go like it's just just a weird weird thing I have you got into the dark Zone yet I have not neither have I we're the worst at reviewing games well no because the story hasn't taken me in there yet yeah

right and I think the dark zone is that is sort of the multiplayer area yeah it's like the PVP area I think yeah it's where you can go get the better gear and stuff but yeah I'm fine just out venturing on my own we should definitely organize a game cuz yeah it is it is it's good fun and I think yeah the three of us would head out and start cleaning up the city that be F you got some searching to do that I'll get on there Dan's out there so I've been playing Far Cry Primal [ __ ] loving it I adore this game really yeah it's just such a great experience playing as you know a caveman basically just getting all my caveman fantasies out there you know [ __ ] with sucking ubisoft's dick this week

yeah man seriously though it's funny because I've never played an actual Far Cry game I just played [ __ ] blood dragon oh yeah and Primal right I love was great I know it's so good they're both but they're both weird like not weird but they're yeah so should I get Primal I I love it I really love it so basically it's uh you know you you've got massively limited weapons and and items and stuff like that but you have to much more about survival you've got to hunt for food not just for yourself but for your Village um you've got to skin animals for to build your Village's huts and stuff like that but at the same time shit's attacking you you've got missions as side quests it's uh the world is expansive

and immersive it's just really nice it's I'm just really enjoying it cool I've played through probably about a third of the game and yeah it's a great game I would recommend getting it absolutely okay Stu give me your free stuff yeah there's no jokes here man there's nothing funny to say about this it's just good you know what I love about this Luke when you turn it back on after having it turned off yep it gives you a recap of where you're up to H Witcher does that too Witcher three it's [ __ ] great game should do you can skip it if you want but it's like it just cuz sometimes if it's been a few days since I've played say Fallout 4 I put it on I'm like where was I going yeah no I've got that cuz I I recently started playing Fallout 4 like a couple of weeks

ago and it's been months since I last played it and I had no idea what I was doing a recap would have been fantastic yeah I um I start I played a bit of Fallout 4 again the other maybe I don't know a week ago I don't know man I it's not grabbing me I'm not like I could I could just not play it and I would be fine you know what I mean I don't have that burning desire to play it like I do with the others man I I played it so much I literally finished everything was still playing and to eventually to go out and buy new games yeah right look yeah no I'm I got into it it took me a little while but I I really got into it and now I'm waiting for the DLC to come out I haven't

finished the main mission yet and I don't know if I want to try and finish the main story so I can have a break before the DLC comes out who have you sided with Luke I haven't started with anyone yet okay I've just g into oh who since The Institute I've just gone in there okay and and everyone everyone wants you to pick a side yep so I haven't picked a side yet I'm just got in there and I've just come out and now I'm at that stage where I'm going to have to decide okay before you do let me give you a little bit of advice mhm any missions you think you might want to do for the people that are asking you to choose them do them before you choose someone else yeah you will find that certain missions are no

longer available to you once you make a decision well I I know it's coming up soon so I'm gonna be making a Save which I can go back to don't do that don't don't don't do that no no no the save is so I can come back later to get the achievements oh okay I'm going to pick one and I'm going to stick with them that's that's going to be my main game but then I'm going to have my a go back and find the other branches to the tree yes okay I'll tell you what I think it is I think the reason it's not grabbing me is first of all I don't like the dialogue in it I don't like the way you can only choose not not as I just don't like what they say I mean I don't like the way that it just comes up with four vague things like sometimes you go I'm going to pick this cuz I want to be nice

and then it's yeah I much prefer the the way at three and New Vegas did it where you actually just choose text and also you have way more than just four options you have like like so many options I hav remember how it was now you just scroll down and you could choose any all sorts of [ __ ] you say you I don't know you could just play it so many different ways not just like literally play it but like through dialogue you could do things differently I don't know and the other thing is I really don't like the armor and everything in it oh yeah it is a bit yeah I would agree and so I feel like I don't know it's just not grabbing me which is weird because it's it's set in a place that I know and I'm with and even even in the future in hundreds of years they still speak with Boston

accents I find funny but like you know finding the landmarks and stuff is fun in it but I don't know I just you been up to Salem no at least at least go to Salem before I should do they've got the witch Museum they do which one one we went to that's 500 of the [ __ ] things that yeah but the one that we actually went to yeah right Co the one with all the diaramas yes sick all right cool I'll go there I've got to do that well I played a little bit uh and and I'm really enjoying rise of the Tomb Raider so yeah um I'll definitely that eventually and there's some news on the old Tomb Raider front or potential news I don't know if this is true or not uh it was a rumor that good old Daisy Ridley from Star Wars might be playing Lara Croft in a Tomb Raider reboot which

makes sense CU she's she's British it's up to her though I mean she's going to have to get like quite a bit of surgery before she's qualified to play that role yeah I don't know about that I think I think that's probably not an issue I'm not for me anyway actually this is a reboot I think I'm kind of looking forward to yeah cuz i' never really liked the original Tomb Raider movies they were awful I don't think I actually saw no I didn't did you say movies plural is there more than one two oh God no when I saw that abortion of a movie with Brad Pitt's wife I was like no I'm out that's the she she's in both of them both them Brad Pit's wife you don't remember name no I just the well she doesn't does she still make movies [ __ ]

I don't know I don't know think the last thing I liked her in was hackers wasn't that the first thing you saw rud first and last the director of of the Tomb Raider movies also directed Conair and I worked with him on a film Sho Conair was excellent we made a TV commercial where we set a house on fire oh that one yeah nice what was his name uh Simon West yeah Simon West yeah he directed Expendables too as well I've not seen any of The Expendables I have heard that they're sort of fun anyway nice guy shitty Tomb Raider movies but yeah no I think I think she'd be good in it I think she's a good actress oh and uh yeah I mean based on her you know the very limited action stuff she did in Star Wars yeah I mean and they could get a p you like you know they can make it work

but what what I'm hoping they're do when they're going to do something a bit like with the new games go a bit story driven like that yeah I hope they said they want to give it a more um they want to give it a more Indiana Jones sorry Raiders of the Lost AR Vibe yeah which which I'm totally down with yeah I think the Vibe of the the new games would be great where it's it's a bit more serious it can have a like they're they're serious with a little bit of Supernatural it's good yeah I like that stuff I think the the other ones were Silly yeah they're exotic without being ridiculous but I mean the the old games were silly as well so yeah I watched something this week that I didn't expect and I'm sure you're going to be surprised that I watched this okay uh

and to be fair I'm not all the way through yet but I started to watch two girls one cup you know I did I did hold out for a very long time on Watching Two Girls One Cup but I never I did eventually see it anyhow no I'm talking about uh Ford under Dawn oh ah yes seen it obviously yes I've seen it a couple of times it's [ __ ] fantastic I was shocked at how much I enjoyed this so I've only seen the first how many episodes are there anyway they're all strung together on Netflix as as one long thing [ __ ] idea Oh I thought it was for was one movie well no no they they released it indiv as individual basically every time it fades to Black is is how it originally came out I've only ever seen it as the full thing that's why I'm

confused sure so look I'm up to the point where the when the aliens have come right that's where I'm up to Yes um so just don't no spoilers beyond that uh it is yeah if you're talking into a microphone doesn't matter if you kind of put your hand up to your mou cuz I can still hear you all right man thanks thanks audience might not know that yeah spoilers but uh it's wait there's aliens in it it's well written it's well shot it's beautifully shot beautiful stylish design um the cast are great I didn't think I was going to like it the first one to two minutes I was like it's a bit na why why have they set this with kids you know why aren't there any adults in this and then they kind of EXP L wire and I was like okay cool the characters

are good it's it's really good the Halo story is just it's a great story that can be made and I don't know why like we're getting Assassin's Creed movies we're getting all these other movies I don't know why Halo can't get a movie man you don't need it for under Dawn's great it is the Halo movie all right well so I should watch this is what you're saying yeah watch it Matt I would watch it it's just a solid little sci-fi miniseries SL really long okay it's on Netflix it is um I watched something this week that you guys were talking about so we can have a proper discussion about it now you like I watched a film from New Zealand called what we do in the shadows yeah I still can't believe I was the first one to see it's taking you guys so long to

see it but I'm interested to know if Matt liked it as much as we did um so you guys liked it a lot did you yeah I really did yeah yeah no I did didn't ah what a shame really yeah I did I didn't dislike it I just I guess I really was waiting for it to to make me laugh out loud and it really never did oh see I did it's a couple of funny bits the line about the sandwich [ __ ] me I was in tears I don't know I just yeah I don't know I felt like it was it was just too dry like you know it's got Murray from um yeah from fly the Concords in it but he doesn't doesn't even say anything funny he just what do you mean he says we're werewolves not swearwolves werewolves yeah well I already knew that

joke cuz you guys have told me but he doesn't say anything else I don't know it's just very um well if you like him Matt you you might want to see the sequel and I know you do watch sequels to movies you've hated so I'll assume you will watch this an example oh the Spider-Man Amazing Spider-Man you hated it you watch the sequel there is some Spider-Man news this week too which we should get on to soon there's a sequel what we do in the shadows yeah it's coming out and it's going to be about the werewolves huh I did not know that I looking forward to that to be clear I didn't dislike the movie I just didn't laugh as much as I thought I was going to so I felt disappointed overall yeah that's disappointing didn't maybe we built it up Luke Luke did we build it up

we might have but I didn't think enough for that reaction I'm reacting in an extreme manner just just just didn't make me laugh very much whoa I didn't expect that reaction no I just I don't know yeah I felt like there was just long periods where nothing funny happened that's all I did laugh at some things but that charm of it though was it was it was it was a real movie too not just jokes I like how I like my favorite character was Peter a really really old nose for R2 looking one oh yeah the fact that they just chat about him like he's just one of their friends and he's like clear really really really old yeah all right well maybe I don't know my expectations may have been the issue here no sorry to

hear that man I saw Murray and I was like oh I like muray he's not not really being very funny though he's just he's just talking yeah but he's talking in the New Zealand accent Matt I know maybe that's what it is do you remember when anything an Irish person said used to be funny like back in the '90s yeah we've moved on from that now it's New Zealand well that's what I'm saying Flight of the Concords he's hilarious maybe I've just burnt out on Murray cuz he played that same character again in um some film with Jim Carrey he was in it and he he was just he was just playing muray again get a new trick pony I think that's just him it's just him acting yeah everyone's like oh you're a great comedian he's like I just I just get upet the lines in

my voice I don't understand want Shakespeare man yeah maybe I'll give it another shot again no I probably W I probably I probably I'll watch the sequel just give it you watch the sequel first and then we'll go from there yeah and we can we can retrofit you enjoying the first one yeah but uh a trailer came out this week for new Marvel movie Yes uh Civil War is this Captain America Civil War Captain America Civil War The Avengers Civil War they all they're all in it they're all in it which is weird it's to me the way that trailer comes across it's not a Captain America it's an Avengers movie yeah they keep saying it's they keep saying oh it's definitely a Captain America movie but the trailer yeah it does it's got everybody in fact it's got new characters that you haven't

even seen before and it's got one character that's not been in a Marvel Studios film before that's right Spiderman Spiderman Spiderman sper he sounds a l like spider boy well he does sound like Spider Boy and we've discussed that they getting younger and younger and younger in their casting but also he's in school all high tech like we've gotten used to over the last 15 or so years it's back to the 70s spandex suit yeah yeah it's interesting I don't quite know how I feel about it to be honest yeah I I've kind of jumped off this bandw because I couldn't make it through the first 10 minutes of Age of Ultron and I was like maybe I'm just maybe this franchise just doesn't

interest me anymore and this trailer like when you saw the actual Civil War it was like eight people running at each other and I was like really really that's that's the this looks lame I've liked the Captain America movies so far because I find Captain America in particular whether it's just the way that they've done it his his action is very um grounded like he's he's strong and you know he can throw his shield and stuff like that but he's not like flying around and he's not you know yeah it's like I know it's like you can almost think oh man maybe I could be Captain America kind of thing like it's got a very real feel to it and then in particular my favorite bit in the last one in um uh Captain America 2 I forget

what the subtitle captains America captains Americas um one of my favorite scenes in that was the car chase with um with with Samuel Jackson's character's name I forgot how the [ __ ] I don't remember Nick Fury's name Fury yeah that was that that I don't know I thought felt like the action in that movie was really good and then but then this one it's got again it's yeah Avengers in particular in Age of Ultron tends to get mind numbing the way that Superman in Man of Steel got minding good way to describe it just there's too much [ __ ] going on and it's not realist it doesn't feel real anymore it looks like a video game whereas I feel like if you watch shots of even in the first Avengers movie right you see people

flying around and doing crazy stuff but then you see Captain America jump like jumping through a window and then like a grenade goes off and so he hunkers down behind his shield and the blast throws him out the window and he like hits a Kai it's very like visceral and yeah the first scene in Age of Ultron they were literally all just flying and it was like like what is going on I find that it again yeah like mind numbing is kind of I guess you know like in Man of Steel like get to the point where just it doesn't even matter anymore like they just hit each other with buildings and it's like I don't even care I wish you were exaggerating Mt I really do I wish that was hyperbole but that's what they're doing and he bashes in with a satellite was so Dum I know I laughed at

that point I laughed it I know it just went personally I know a lot of like there were people out there who loved it I got friends who loved it really it was great but yeah yeah but for me certain friends that just love Superman though and will love everything yeah you know who I mean yeah I do yeah he doesn't count if you're listening you don't count a come on but look even Mark Miller the writer of Civil War has come out and said Batman versus Superman trailer looks better it doesn't though it looks [ __ ] as well and which trailer they' they've put out like five now yeah first of all it looks like more of the same stuff where it's so over the top that it doesn't feel like anyone's in any danger anymore so I don't know when I should be worried for the hero now you

know what I mean and I mean is the storyline of Civil War basically that Iron Man and Captain America have swapped attitudes you know like like Iron Man used to be the [ __ ] like do whatever [ __ ] you can't put me you rules around me and Captain America was all like no we do this for America and then he got jaded and now he's like all crazy and [ __ ] and Iron Man's like no no no I was well out of hand you were right to sensor me so let's just do this has always been the story and it's more so that Captain America he still fought like people not much the government he's more so for people should be able to choose he's a Libertarian yeah yeah he's a Libertarian no he um basically in in the comics I assume it's somewhat similar uh in the comics it's on a much

greater scale because you've got the X-Men and everybody involved as well but in the comics it's about they want they basically want all the superheroes to register with the government and R their secret identities and everything cuz the government says no no we need we need to know who you are you all need to be accounted for basically right and so uh Tony Stark and everybody uh in on that side yeah right and and you got to think Tony Stark it's fine like I'm rich I'm fine he everyone know anyway yeah exactly he's like no no no yeah we need to be held accountable for for what we do because I I believe in the films they're going to talk about you know he's had PTSD from from what happened in

the Avengers and all that kind of stuff so I'm sure that's all going to come up and then Captain America is saying no no no these people need to be protected because because Spider-Man cries every time something happens to his auntie well he's on the affirmative side in this are you serious [ __ ] I don't understand this at all look I'm going to see it it's not like I'm not going to see it like I'm not I'm definitely going to see Batman v Superman as well but I'm not going to like it one thing I don't know why they keep doing this like with the reveal of Spider-Man keep that for the movie you don't need to put that in a trailer they need to get people Batman v Superman keep Wonder Woman for the movie that would have been the reveal in the movie

would have been so much better actually would have maybe been a little bit more looking forward to it if they hadn't why do like honestly why does every movie have to be the Avengers well I've just answered my own question then haven't I cuz it broke broke all the box office records but I'll just make a movie about one person apparently uh it doesn't stop there either I think Aquaman shows up in super [ __ ] Jason Mamoa or whatever his name is Yeah well yeah it's a dawn of justice so yeah no I know I know I know but yeah of course they got to they got to compete is Martian Manhunter in this I don't know hope so I would rather watch a Martian Man hun there's a guy at my work who's super into DC yeah and somebody else said Martian Manhunter what kind of a name is that and I said

oh it's just a guy who who just hunts men on Mars and I can see looking at me like grinding his teeth like that's not what Mar Man Hunter does cuz is there is there an official flash too like is in this universe so I think television show but it can't be that surely is is he showing up in this as well maybe I don't know I hope not cuz that show is [ __ ] awful I'm going to get letters I'm going to get letters I know you all love it all right I haven't seen it yes I know you love it I think they'd have to have that character go into the movie they're going to have the flash of the movie because that's the universe they're building now you can't to me you can't separate it between the movie one and the TV one you got to they've all just

got to combine like they've done with um the Marvel one of Shield except they just came out and said that Civil War is going to ignore what happens in the TV series because it got too hard and and actually Jos weden said that in an interview about about Age of Ultron he said that they they [ __ ] screwed him over in a lot of ways because they said no no no it's all got to tie in and he was like [ __ ] like what is even happening on the TV show you know TV shows don't get created the same way the film does by the time I finish the film the TV shows had [ __ ] written for it that I've got to you know it's he say very complicated films take years TV shows take I guess months is that accurate and then they just gave him another sack of cash and said dry your

eyes and he went yep y now well he said he's not making anym what's he doing now he's swimming in his pool yeah oh man that was a great film much ad do that was great oh [ __ ] it was great yeah i' I'd prefer you do more stuff like that oh absolutely yeah because here's the thing Joss is great when he's being Joss not when he's being Stanley you know he do own properties better than he does Marvel stuff even though I do say I did love the first Avengers movie yeah he did a really good job of the first Avengers and he because he fought uh see what I feel like the stuff that he fought against in the first Avengers was like all the aliens that showed up at the end right he didn't want that he said no no no it's got to be about the The Avengers and and you know and Loki

is the big bad guy and they're like no they need to fight some space Army and so he had to do that and then age of ultum was just all that like he just they just said no okay now you just do the same thing that we said last time except get rid of all the things that you like yeah cuz he had more free well not free but he had more control over the first one than he did the second one well the the first one was risky but the second one was like don't [ __ ] this up yeah well also they didn't know the first one was going to be quite as big a hit as it was so but also like just let let him do his job yeah like he did well with the first one so give him a little bit more control for the next one not restrict him mind you I watched uh I went and saw at the cinema last night

the new colen brothers movie hail Caesar right which is a film about making films back in the 50s and kind of pokes fun at all the the kind of red tape that you got to get through and yeah I saw a trailer cool yeah I to be honest I I felt like I was enjoying it more than the people around me you know yeah Hannah went and saw it she didn't dislike it but yeah wasn't great that's what said too she was like I did not like it but I don't understand why you liked it so much and I'm like well I really loved it the starters right and you'll know the significance of this in small roles it stars Clancy Brown and Christopher Lambert wow they don't share any screen time but they're both in there and I was like I think this must be the only other movie other than Highlander that these

two have been in together [ __ ] clany Brown what's he been in lately apart from that yeah I don't know I mean I wanted him to just keep making Carnival like forever the answer sadly is the SpongeBob movie oh God live action SpongeBob movies Sponge Out of Water [ __ ] I bet that's the premise too I bet that's not just a pun I bet the premise is SpongeBob gets out of the water and gets like lost in the city or something yeah oh he's in uh he's in the Warcraft movie which looks shy yeah it really does doesn't it oh I keep forgetting that's a thing I hope it's not I like Duncan Jones yeah I like one of his movies that he made too yeah I like one of his movies yeah so I'm hoping that he'll uh he'll come back and make another another one what was the one with Jake

Gyllenhaal um source code that was awful I another the one whatever it was the shitty one that you thought was about science and then turned out to be about magic yeah like the inell was a little bit don't do that by the way anyone listening Hollywood stop doing that if the answer at the end is Lov did it no yeah there's no there's no possible way that could happen but he loves everybody so it does no stop it Interstellar was still good though Interstellar had some amazing bits and some bits that frustrated the [ __ ] out of me how it was love at the end that was the solution for stars that but like not even the oh I've stumbled upon this facility that I didn't know was here and you didn't know I was still alive but somehow I'm the only one you can send on

this why were you building a ship none of these people could pilot is my question to you well the answer to that technically is the reason that he found the facility was because he sent himself those messages from does in the opposite of explain I know I know I know I'm just saying that's the answer [ __ ] you Matt and [ __ ] Christopher Nolan even though I did uh see him on a plane and was uh felt very good about myself having seen him on a plane did you prostrate yourself before him I'm not sure what that means but I'm pretty sure I didn't oh that's disappointing I was I did have to scooch past him to um cuz obviously he was in business class and I was in economy yeah did you ask him what he was going to watch on the flight so you could watch the same thing
