globe that's right bread very thin I came back I came back you didn't no that's right no I'm um I'm going to stick around here for a bit should we explain to people that well they haven't missed a week we've missed four right yeah so a little while to get back into it it was probably obvious to people who are like why aren't they talking about the Star Wars trailer or why aren't they talking about any of this stuff that actually happened yeah I've been in uh the US for a month on holiday and um Dan's heading off are we announcing that you're staying there or we going to have to cut that S no no no we I'm I'm I'm here now all right in Singapore now yeah I [ __ ] move to Asia yeah yeah so uh yeah so there was a period

there where we were like you know what [ __ ] time zones [ __ ] time let's let's just put some uh some mediocre pre-recorded content up instead so we did speaking of time zones though right yesterday I was in batam which is a small island in Indonesia right and I went to their okay I went to their kind of Mall their big Plaza in the city or if you could call it a city and I don't know whether they're just really into the Retro or whether they're just catching up but um their main attraction time zone cool really yeah man time zone now was it a good time zone or was it the time zone you see in Australia now where it's just ticket Mach no no no no it had old games and I I I didn't have time to really explore it I I didn't even have

time to go in I just kind of looked at it from the outside but man it just warmed my heart yeah cuz every now again when I'm in Australia I'll see one and I'll get excited yeah there's one in Hornsby and then you walk in and if you want to spend $10 to buy a $2 toy that's the place yeah it's all about the tickets now isn't it well when I was I was just in Florida for a bit while I was away and we went to this place uh I forget the name of it andredes or something uh it's kind of like time zone but you know in Florida and they have ticket machines and stuff and I put about 20 bucks on uh you know one of those cards cuz you can't put money in the machines now you have to put you have to swipe cards oh really uh yeah I don't know if that's the case

over there but um I hear as well at the that the arcade in the city you have to do the same thing so you you give them 20 bucks and they give you a swipe card that has credit on it and you swipe that in the machines so we spent I don't know a couple of hours playing stupid games getting tickets and stuff like that and uh by the end of it I had enough points enough tickets to purchase a nice little fake mustache well that's cool I mean you do have a real mustache you got a$0 fake mustache exactly to wear over your actual that's right yeah it's very fetching yes he it was fun though actually you guys should come over to um you guys should come over to batam next weekend because I'm shooting a uh promo campaign for Islam uh Islamic

TV and um I'm looking for dudes dudes with beards not a lot of them here so you two could get some uh some good acting work here hey you want to pay for my flight I'll do it yeah I don't think we got that in the budget a I think you I think the the payment is 70 virgins upon death it doesn't say if they're male or female though and I reckon that's a big stipulation because if they're female well I mean I you know that's fine but I mean I don't want to just Do virgins I mean can I split them up into like 35 virgins and 35 really experienced women you know what I mean and and and also like if they're male it's just going to be a bunch of dudes that don't know what they're doing so like I don't think anyone's happy with that

one particular ulous subgroup but generally speaking as well yeah exactly say I'm racist casually but I love everybody equally except the [Music] juw that was a [Music] them yeah yeah so that's been brought up in the past now this is not in relation to uh to the people as mentioned before uh who I do love as well um we were we were in uh Florida again at the House of Blues actually they have a restaurant at the House of Blues called Crossroads

Good Old House of Blues yeah Crossroads e it's a Robert Johnson reference is it I don't know what that means Robert Johnson the Blues artist waited at the crossroads for uh the devil to sell his soul to uh be the best guitar player in the world I assume that was on the menu it was very um I guess uh themed MH and they had a lot of art around that it didn't occur to me quite what the theme was fully um but there was a lot of you know like art depicting black musicians and and and you know black black people so yeah so we're sitting there eating and uh Jenna said to me oh that the art and that the out style of that painting over there is is quite creepy uh and I was like which one that over there oh the one of the police

officer and she goes she goes what I said the the the the policeman over there mhm you know what I'm going to say don't you go on uh it wasn't a police officer uh it was uh it it was a black man in little little slave uniform that that the slave uniform that apparently they used to wear so um that's that's how just blind to uh to color I am I have no idea that yeah that's good I mean we did grow up in a in a country without slaves which we can be proud of I mean we we weren't particularly nice to our indigenous uh inhabitants but um that's another story I was well I'd like to think I've been quite nice to them too but they don't see it that way yeah I Haven I haven't taken anybody's children yeah I haven't got

them stop stop get away from get off my front porch I haven't got I definitely don't look in the shed they're definitely not in the shed definitely and definitely don't dig behind the shed and definitely don't look in my box of vaginas what I wish she put that thing away I'm not have a look at I don't want to see the Box even out Dan it's my it's my Cofe tempting yeah and don't write vaginas on it well I was I was trying to write faitas but um but I don't speak Spanish but I do speak you can cut the word if you want Jenna if you want to leave it in that's fine too is that one is that one word it's it's two words hyphenated compound word right gotcha

um so I I I mentioned this before briefly uh in that we haven't talked about it uh the Star Wars trailer yeah yes you guys watch a few times a day yeah look I mean I was yeah I thought you going to say I watch it a few times a day was end of sentence it's not entirely untrue I mean I was I was really busy on the day so I only watched it about a dozen or so times on the first day yeah um there's I'm [ __ ] excited sorry I'm excited I only thing I was upset about was they didn't show up before Avengers which I was hoping they would so I could see on the big screen yeah I'm going to see Avengers tomorrow so I'll be disappointed then I guess but um oh they might show it now it might have been because I went to an early screening of

Avengers early screening that was awfully special but what did everyone think of the trailer oh man I loved it yeah I loved it great there's nothing about it I didn't like sorry I I kind of wish that that they had that had been the original trailer they hadn't put that other one up cuz the other one up the other one was really disappointing for me I this one this one was a well this one is still not saying it's a trailer it's still a teaser yeah the trailer doesn't come out until June or July right they were going to say 6 months before right well I mean this was this was good though it got me excited more like I said way more excited than the other one did cuz the other one I was like what is this yeah the one thing I

didn't like about it was um the opening scene when the Speeders going across jauz are you [ __ ] kidding you see a huge no I love that scene but the Star Destroyer looked fake dude it's a trailer it's not finished shots aren't finished trust me I know um I know but just it just looked fake and I thought also what did you call the planet jaku that's not tne no it's not jaku it's just another planet that's entirely a desert I'll admit I just assume that was tne but I'm kind of glad that it's not actually I assumed it was tet yeah same how do you know that it's how you know that because the game I I'm looking forward to the new Star Wars game Battlefront coming out oh and that comes out in November and then two weeks before the movie comes out they're

releasing DLC for the Battle of jaku which is actually it talks about how that planet cuz once the emperor was destroyed well that's whole is this spoilers I don't think it's spoilers all right all right cuzz it's not in the movie oh okay all right and they said this isn't in the movie cuz after the Parise you still got the Imperial Navy out there sure so there's still going to be some fighting and evidently jaku was the a huge space battle happened up there and that's why you've got all these crash star destroys and so basically it's like at the end of World War II when the the treaty happened but then the Russians still kind of made their way back through Europe pillaging and uh kind of finishing off the rest of the Germans on the way but they had to

go back home and yeah is um so it's the Imperial Navy even like if you're a at what point is a spaceship Navy and not air it's a ship I'm curious ship that I I yeah that makes sense but what like like is the next swing are you still like is that a ship like a you be it be in the Navy in the next swing even if you're flying around in the atmosphere what about the there there are planes in the Navy as well but that's a fair what about the Air Force where's the Air Force yeah who needs who needs and is there a cap on how Air Force i' I'd be thinking the Air Force would be what you have on your planet defending Navy anything that sort of goes around and goes between let me ask

you this then Luke cuz that sounds fair but let me ask you this mhm what goes on the water uh there's no water no there are I've seen planets that are entirely water like uh well half of the yeah where they made the CL I still don't believe in the booth Cino Camino where they get the clones from don't believe in Camino yeah oh I see those movies didn't happen is that what you're suggesting this is what I'm really hoping JJ Abrams has done it before where he's just reset the universe reset it again no no no that's fair that's fair episode 1 2 and three don't exist might happen he can do it I'd like to see people talking about medians and being like man we've come a long way in medical science can you believe that they used to think the force was a blood

disease now we know it's just a mystical power that encompasses everything it binds us and penetrates us I would be happy with that I want this is what I want right sit down in the cinema right lights go down holds us down and penetrates us fades in right Jar Binks with a gun in his mouth right some dude's [ __ ] saying ja you've pissed me off for the last time right camera pans off you hear the shot it's not even an onc screen death he doesn't even get that you know what I mean we don't even give him the Dignity of that and then he's just forgotten you hear his body slumped to the ground you see the body being thrown into an unmarked grave covered up with a bit of dirt you want to get the Fanboys on side

means they're back in the ship right I think so Che from like casik right like they're not and hands from wherever the [ __ ] humans live yeah there you go he's ailan right [ __ ] Killians well I mean yeah maybe they didn't have the Falcon for a while or does he have the Falcon back in Jedi because because Lando is flying the Falcon and Jedi right yeah but I think he gets it back off does he see that happen maybe he hasn't given it back and he's been running around with it for 30 years and then har and jewy just tracked him down oh my God imagine if Lando is in this imagine if Billy D is in this movie and they just haven't told us that yet he is

that would be great obviously but I wonder why he's not or they haven't announced it well well they haven't announced whether he is or isn't you mean or yeah H I hope there's a scene i' say he's probably not there's a scene where Luke as really old man is talking to his own children and he's saying you know you know when somebody dies you um you know you see them still they're ghosts if they're part of the force and um I remember when I um when I killed my father I saw uh I saw my old friend Obi-Wan and um I saw some young kid that I didn't know who it [Music] was and I guess I'll never know who that I'll never know I will never know but he looked [ __ ] annoying and he hangs around a bit but he is a

self-righteous little [ __ ] [Laughter] yeah um another trailer that came out either around the same time I'm not sure if it was the same day or or shortly after or might have been before for all I know uh it was after it was after okay cool it's all a blur cuz I was on vacation uh was Batman versus Superman cuz I was on vacation you you were on drugs Matt you can admit it you don't know what the reason is we don't say V we don't say vacation here however if I say I was on a holiday no one in America understands what I mean because when when a holiday in America is like a public holiday and there is no other like they don't use that word to mean anything else they say vacation and so I stalled because I was

like wait which word do I use yeah in in our case holiday or vacation is fine well the plac I've been going a former British colonies so they all say holiday here too yeah right well that is that is Tech and they have double deck of buses which which is pretty R well then you went on both one home today did you yes I did did you go up the top just cuz you could absolutely and also cuz that's where most of the have a roof on the top yes it has a r I'm not on the I'm not on the tour bus I'm just checking I don't know I've never been on one I've only seen a tour one I'll say this about tours in Southeast Asia before I go on I was in Malaysia yesterday and you know you guys know that there's a there's a city in Malaysia called koala Loompa that's the

most aussy sounding town I've ever heard of kalala luma that's where all uh testers for work are from yeah it's where koalas are from and lumpas yeah LPA lumpas koala lumpas [ __ ] koalas weird let's talk about Batman and Superman what' you think of the trailer um I'm I'll go see it but I'm not super excited for it yeah I thought it looked a bit [ __ ] well here's the thing I thought it looked pretty good but Man of Steel was [ __ ] stupid and I assume it's going to be just like that so the fact that this look good isn't filling me with a lot of confidence yeah I want to see Ben Affleck Batman though I I want to see him do Batman be Batman I should say I

don't want this is all just the start of this is just the start of DC starting off on their Marvel Trend isn't it yeah absolutely well if it is they've ballsed it up because I I just don't understand how I still don't from watching this trailer I don't understand how the character that they presented in Man of Steel can ever fight someone like Batman and not just immediately turn him into like pop and how they're going to resolve this to become the Justice League down the track well I think this is they'll just take from the comics won't they cuz this is this fight's actually happened right but uh I'll remind you that in the comics Kryptonite was actually a thing that could be used and not just the atmosphere of like Krypton being different oh I haven't

seen Man of Steel it's just atmosphere there it it Kryptonite isn't a isn't a rock or something that Batman can use he there isn't really Kryptonite as such the way that it worked in Man of Steel was um the atmosphere of Earth gave him Powers when he adjusted to it and by putting him back in the atmosphere of Krypton he lost his powers is that is that right am I getting that right I'll be honest fell asleep through a lot of it because it was [ __ ] awful but uh but yeah I don't think it's it's not something Batman can just kind of you know pop a ring on like he does in did in the comics when he fought Superman and can punch him with a Kryptonite ring I mean I'm sure they figured out a way to do itse why would they wouldn't make

this movie if they had thought look I love the premise that people are mistrustful of Superman I love that and and I I love the premise that Batman is their preferred hero because he's a human being sure and yeah yeah I I want to see him do it I want to see someone who's not [ __ ] what's this what's this director who directs this um z z Snider I want to see someone who's not him do it you know not convinced and he's beautiful like the like the yeah but Sucker Punch looks beautiful as well it looks beautiful but it just looks also like Man of Steel where it's going to be like it's going to look great but have nothing to it yeah you know yeah which is exactly what I thought about Man of

Steel like oh look stuff's blowing up and that looks incredible except that's the second hour of that I've watched now yeah and uh yeah it's kind of making my brain Norm like those [ __ ] we all banged in high school it's like beautiful but you got siick of it really quickly right you know what I mean I I I missed out on that in high school so no I don't so so did I luky so did I what were you guys doing while I was banging [ __ ] H playing video games probably yeah I played video games too I just found time to bang [ __ ] as well if Dave was here he Dave would back me up if he was here I'm sure he would he banged a lot more [ __ ] than I did well I I think Man of Steel uh is part of a trend that I've noticed lately

and I watched a number of films and I don't want to talk a whole lot about all of them because um they were mostly films that I watched because I knew that people didn't like them and therefore Jenna probably wouldn't want to watch them because they're not very good but I wanted to watch them anyway the so films like The Hobbit 3 the you know the third Hobbit film Battle of the Five Armies that a big fat Miss Jupiter Ascending yeah it looked interesting Transformers uh age of Extinction or dinosaur as we referred to it as it's known in Asia um I yeah so those are the three uh three big effects films that I wanted to watch just to see y so um and I can sum up my feelings about them uh

kind of together in the I feel like action sequences in movies now now are just [ __ ] shitty yeah like it's like it it's too much I can't it does it's not even realistic anymore you know like when you watch a movie like like die hard right I watch diard and I think you know what maybe I could do that maybe maybe this could be real you know what I mean like maybe that's maybe it's feasible well I'm Not Die Hard four obviously the first one and and maybe even three to an extent you be you know like that kind of thing where it's not and you can see what's happening which is good you know you can see exactly what's going on but like now like Transformers in particular it's like [ __ ] Zoom back zoom out like I can't see anything it's just yeah you

know extreme close-ups of robots punching each other I actually went to watch Transformers um the other week but then I saw it goes for close to 3 hours or over 3 hours or something holy sh [ __ ] awful man no like it's a long movie to be that horrible the story is just ridiculously it's garbage like it and here's the thing bit like Prometheus what it is a bit actually yeah yeah but not good here's the thing though if you're a filmmaker and you make a movie where giant robots fight dinosaurs and it's not [ __ ] awesome then you [ __ ] fail you know what I mean like that would be so easy to make not [ __ ] like I know it's Transformers and I know that it's not you know but darker the

moon was [ __ ] great but yeah that's what that's the thing that annoyed me is I watched this and I'm like what happened to the guy who made that movie but then he's the guy who made the second one which was [ __ ] too the first one was good the second one was [ __ ] the third one was good now the fourth one's [ __ ] like what is he doing like I don't know I don't know how he misses the ball so utterly on like every second one cuz it's Michael Bay again maybe it's like the old star Tre movies where you've got the kind of the good ones on the odd number and the not so good ones on but they had different directors wasn't the same guy making them and it's I mean you've got Mary Mark in it and he plays an inventor oh yeah who makes robots yeah and he's not

even like but at the end of it I mean because obviously it's Mary Mark right so he's buff and you know he's running around shooting Transformers with his with a Transformer gun at the end it's Marky Mark but you're supposed to ignore the fact that did he spend 6 hours a day at the gym well no he was too busy building his robots and his his daughter who's the you know the required hot blonde chick in a Michael Bay film uh complains about how he spends all his time building robots and stuff so is big robots well no not Big Rob lifting up the bits and pieces he fixes Optimus Prime which is that's what I'm saying the science in this just it's [ __ ] stupid like the the the story there's no Decepticons in this film but I mean in this universe Opus Prime and the

Transformers they're not robots they're aliens well they there just dinosaurs yeah right exactly so the premise for this film is that something made the Transformers which makes sense but we you don't know what that is but whatever what whoever made them came to Earth when the dinosaurs were around and converted all the organic life on the planet into transforming which is the metal the Transformers are made of of course it is and of course it is and uh and that's why the dinosaurs were extinct went extinct because they got turned into transformium uh and this company cockroaches and early mammals they survived though oh they missed them they missed them no they missed them um exactly yeah oh they don't make they're

not they're something about their biochemistry it's not suitable for for transforming then you know basic basic high school chemistry then they started evolving right into our modern day birds do they address that I assume they address that don't don't worry about those details anyway no oh yeah oh yeah they definitely didn't address it so um um then this company finds a dinosaur that was converted to transformium but still fro but frozen in ice so they find him and they go a that's probably what happened um and figure out how to make Transformers of their own out of the transformium and they build Galvatron using Megatron's

head as a device to to you know learn how to control the transformium and then Galvatron exists um so there's actually no Decepticons in this sort of it's they it's just these human made Transformers which are better than the normal Transformers and then they have to F them and anyway none of that happens until halfway through by the way because the first half of it is see I don't quite remember what happened at the end of of uh Dark of the Moon did Optimus Prime die again um because at the beginning of this film I don't know I don't he's um yeah at the beginning of this film Mary Mark finds a truck when he's looking for Junk buys it and it turns out to be Optimus Prime but he's got a missile stuck in him that prevents him from

functioning and then mar mar pulls it out and fixes him like I don't know it's just it's [ __ ] stupid it makes no it's it's just dumb what I love about this though is that Marky Mark is now taking the reject films that Shila Buff doesn't want to do anymore I know I'm like but I mean it's this has got a lot of a lot of big actors in it too like I don't know [ __ ] I don't know what's going on who else is it's just just really awful um it's got what's the guy's name I can't remember his name he plays um oh it's got Frasier in it okay for one yeah Chelsea Grandma yeah he's the big bad in it what he plays Galvatron the guy no he's a he's the human that creat he works for yeah the government he does all bad things you know he's the evil government guy in this there's one of

them in every Transformers film now I think there's one of them in every film but um yeah age of Extinction like everybody in it I was like oh I know that guy except for the kids like the the young girl uh who I guess was the first one willing to give Michael Bay a blue job I believe that's a requirement for I assume being cast all right Nicola pelts I guess that's her Stanley Tucci oh yeah yeah uh Kelsey grar um Titus Welliver was in it uh Roman legionary James Bachman who I know from stuff so yeah there's a lot

of I mean as you watch it you go oh I know that guy so I don't know well I guess they pay well strange to me yeah I guess yeah well they must because they they're huge films but anyway so that was that was boring um uh Jupiter Ascending I didn't think was as bad as everyone made out maybe that's cuz my expectations were lowered by uh what everyone else said but it wasn't real great so I don't know I I I so I'd say watch it Dan just because it's got some cool [ __ ] in it if you haven't seen it already some cool sci-fi stuff and it's withis yeah yeah I mean overall it's not great but I mean it's [ __ ] beautiful special effects and and some of the environments and stuff are really really cool but yeah it's not going to blow not going to blow your mind

it wasn't that bad I'll watch it while I The Hobbit yeah exactly exactly um The Hobbit I have mixed feelings about because it was actually probably the most enjoyable out of them but it also had a bunch of stuff that just really pissed me off so yeah like have either of you seen this one no no I thought the first one was so shy I gave it a chance for the second one and it was just as shite yeah well the second one I thought was worse even because it didn't have Golem um well this one is basically uh the you know the last two pages of the book turned into aour movie you know 2 and a half hour movie yeah and so there's a lot of people looking at stuff for a long time in it um and

also overly long and [ __ ] action sequences which uh I think we've discussed this before my major issue with a lot of the action in The Hobbit movies is that it doesn't to me it doesn't show me skilled Warriors it shows me bumbling [ __ ] idiots who through sheer luck managed to get out of dangerous situations by Landing in a bucket instead of the lava or you know that kind of thing and so there's a whole lot of that again where it's just it's just slapstick [ __ ] nonsense um heard some of the story lines that they had um in the first couple that they just didn't finish off in the third is that true I don't remember I I'm not sure I don't remember the others auxiliary story lines made any sense

anyway right yeah yeah but why go to the point of putting in if you just going to finish I'll tell you I'll tell you what did come as a surprise to me was um Billy Connelly showing up halfway through the film hey as a as a dwarf oh God I was like all right is he still doing stuff all right so he get Point gets points for that it gets points for having Connelly as a dwarf yeah exactly he's a little he shows up as a dwarf riding a pig yeah you heard me correctly he's riding a pig um and me basically any scene with leg all right basically any scene with legalis in it is [ __ ] infuriating is he's not in the [ __ ] book so I don't know why he's in the film no but he's either just being useless and and broody

or he's engaged in some ridiculous action sequence there's literally a bit this is the bit of the film that pissed me off the most because and it sums up how I feel about action in movies at the moment there's a scene where legalis jumps off a a ledge stabs an ogre or an or troll in the head with his sword and then uses the sword in the in its head to steer it over across and smashing it into a tower which falls and um forms a bridge across a Chasm so that he can run across that and then fight another troll on the chasm like over it on this you know bridge that he's created but then the troll hits the tower and all the blocks start falling and he literally as the blocks are

falling like runs up them like as they're falling in midair and then does a little back flip over the thing and then it's [ __ ] stupid and that was his plan the whole time was it yeah exactly yeah that it's just pisses me off yeah that sounds awful I don't know and then also because it doesn't gel or fit with the Lord of the Rings stuff anymore because you've got like he wasn't that good in Lord of the Rings and that was later yeah you know what I mean well he's got an older he was just firing arrows around yeah I don't know he was riding a shield like a skateboard down the side of a crumbling Castle wall in the two towers but imagine imagine that's all he does in the film and that's what all I remember doing he was 100% my least favorite

character in that trilogy yeah and then there's other stuff like he um the you know like the the enemies which were kind of dangerous and and you know like when Strider killed anur in in Lord of the Rings it was like a big deal cuz they were they were tough and and difficult to kill whereas in this you've got like four dwarves taking out you know a 100 of them in comic slapstick style and then Bilbo's just hitting them in their head with rocks and they fall down dead like it's just I don't know I can never I know if they did well at the movies I don't know I assume they did I mean they're for kids let's be honest like there's no other explanation for it well really I didn't think kids were the audien

because you I mean grown there's no way I don't think a grown-up could watch this and and be like excited by it there's nothing exciting about it's just [ __ ] it's it's like I don't know like do you know what I mean like it doesn't feel like it's not exciting no one's in any danger I'm like that with all movies they're just going to slap stick their way out of it that's that no I agree that's what I'm saying I feel like this is way the way action movies have gone like no one's in any danger it's not exciting it's just dumb like I don't I don't like it it scares me yeah I don't like it either but then I mean I'm trying to think what's a movie I've seen lately that was good with action in it well Luke did you like The Avengers have we

talked about this I enjoyed it but I thought I'll hold off on that until next week after seen it I liked the first one Dan have you seen the second one no I haven't actually I haven't so let's discuss I recommend it oh I'll definitely be seeing it there's no chance I'm not going to see it yeah well I'm seeing it tomorrow so oh I will give you some advice oh God don't wait till the very end of the credits all right don't wait till the very end very strange the varant wait for the first set of credits there's something there and then it comes up with the next black screen credit roll and nothing after that right right I know this cuz I sat through it expecting something as you get in all Marvel movies and there was nothing well don't forget um The Last Avengers they

cut the after credits bit for Australia that scene in the schw restaurant was not there uh yeah that's true yeah I don't know why they did that I don't know why they did it either do we not have schwam I know what schwam I know we do cuz there's one in my work [ __ ] eting schwam yeah yeah exactly even if I don't have it here oh now I want a schw um uh a movie that I watched oh well there two movies I watched I did like and I know you've seen one of them Dan uh and I'm interested to talk about this with you I watched Birdman yeah I'm very interested to hear what you thought of it I really liked it good I'm glad you did I I I I I wondered if you would or not look I really really liked bits of it

and I liked the craft of it all but I actually found it Drama by numers hon the trailer Birdman was 10 times better than the film I wouldn't say I disliked it but I certainly don't think I liked it as much as everyone else seems to but maybe I'm just cynical I um it wasn't what I thought it was going to be originally but people had told me that it wouldn't be so you know I I knew already you know what I mean cuz I wasn't what I thought it was going to be yeah about a guy who's trying to make a play cuz he wants to be famous again basically it's not it's not about Michael Keaton as Batman but they're pretending it a different character it is a little bit but not really yeah it's

kind of about it's more about the nature of Fame and is the is yeah and I loved I love the little touches like you always saw him using his telekinetic powers and then occasionally you'd see it from somebody else's point of view when he was just smashing [ __ ] up and it was like okay I really do enjoy yeah that the movie acknowledges that this guy's just having a mental breakdown and I can appreciate that and I think that was really good but I think I don't know there was just something that was missing for me I I couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to okay I liked the sentiment the um you know like the he he all he cares about is is Fame and success but he doesn't know why and he can't and you know people point it out to him he just doesn't get it like and and they like

but and he thinks they don't get it and I thought that I like that it was really yeah look I mean we could I like so much about it that any discussion we have you would think oh Dan really liked it so it's not that I didn't like it it's just that there was just something missing from me I just wanted it to I don't know yeah hit me a little harder on the emotional side I guess yeah but not was good in it yeah yeah he was good he's it's got your girlfriend in it though Luke I might watch it one day uh which one Emma um oh Emma Stone yeah that's right she is in it yeah yeah there's reason enough to watch it right there she's looking particularly bugy in it too speaking of your girlfriends I had a look at kickass to the other

day what you think I I really enjoyed it quite honestly oh okay I haven't seen that one yet I mean I I I liked kickass but the book was better um but kickass 2 is just kickass one I don't know if they're making a third one now they were there was talk of making a third one but even I think the writer went if you're going to make it you need to make it now cuz these kids are going to be too old yeah yeah and they are yeah yeah she's she's not a little child anymore unfortunately she is not no but even even the male actor he is looking a lot older now oh you don't into him anymore [Laughter] hey yeah I no I'd like to watch it's got Jim Carrey in it right yeah and he's

surprisingly good yeah it was very funny yeah he actually came out and didn't like the movie against it yeah yeah I heard it he thought it promoted violence or yeah but it doesn't surprise me that it's not the kind of [ __ ] he would like it was weird it was thought it was promoting gun violence I thought when he didn't use guns and also he would have known he was a big military dude when he got to set on the first day and they said put on these camo pants you know what I mean like you'd think he yeah You' think he like why did it take until the movie came out before he went oh I'm the I'm the army guy I don't usually play the army guy I usually play Pet Detective he was an army guy who didn't like guns yeah yeah if they make a third one I'll go see it

yeah me too or just wait for it to come out DVD watch yeah I'll do what I did now and wait till I'm in a hotel with HBO well the last film that I want to to just mention have either of you seen Nightcrawler no not yet I have not but it's on my list I do want to see it I always think of Nightcrawler as being um from um from X-Men X-Men yep yeah no it's definitely not that it's uh yeah I really really liked it it's um Got Jake Gyllenhaal in it um and he is a kind of con artist um who one night Witnesses a car crash and notices the sees the you know the guys follow follow the police

scanners and film the car Crashers they're trying to get footage of all the victims and stuff and sell them to the news stations so he decides to go and buy a video camera and um does the same thing but he is way more creepy and [ __ ] up about it and gets involved in all this [ __ ] and starts a company and hires this guy and it's really good I really liked it so um yeah I would say check it out I don't want to spoil it if others haven't seen it don't spoil it I I'll I'll give a sure I won't no it's it's very good no no no it was on it was on the plane and um yeah so Jenner and I watched it yeah we both really liked it he he's really good in it like he plays that that kind of charming but like creepy weirdo character really well like yeah you like him but you you're like

this guy's [ __ ] insane but I like him so yeah oh and it's got Bill Paxton in it oh yeah can't go wrong no wrong B Paxton so s a little bit unrelated but you did talk about the plane and popped into my head okay has your luggage arrived yet yeah it has they delivered it to me yesterday yeah so yeah for the listeners my luggage arrived uh in Atlanta uh as I arrived in Sydney apparently so thanks for that Atlanta but you weren't even going to Atlanta correct I was not yeah so yeah I don't know what happened there so yeah thanks for that but they delivered it yesterday well that's good all the

movies I've seen in the last few weeks have been things that I watched late at night in hotel rooms uh cuz I've been traveling a lot um but I did see but I kind of like that because it gives me the opportunity to watch movies I wouldn't normally go out of my way to watch yeah that's what the flying did for me I watched these films that I would have would have bothered yeah like kickass too you know I wouldn't wouldn't have gone out of my way to see that but then I enjoyed it and another one that Luke I think you recommended once before and I probably said I would never ever bother watching it but that I actually quite liked was this is the end ah yes the this is the end oh is that the the the comedy with James Franco and everybody Franco yeah you liked that

didn't you Luke I did it was a good movie yeah it was really funny like I mean it kind of wasn't anything above what I was expecting but the writing itself was good enough that it was a better version of what I thought it was going to be a better version of exactly what I thought it was going to be right yeah okay you know you've got these celebrities playing themselves but playing ridiculous versions of themselves I mean Seth Rogan just plays the kind of lovable laran that he always wants to be portrayed as but then you've got James Franco who is obsessed with mixed with um uh what was the other end of the world movie that came out about the same time oh the Simon Peg one that we watched yeah yeah that was a down for me

that was the I didn't enjoy that thought that was going to be great and it was [ __ ] awful yeah who's the main guy in this is the end I recognized every single other person in the film except for the lead character the young dude who stays with um with Josh Rogan Josh Rogan what's his name Seth oh he's um he a lot of he's he's actually a director Jo I am thinking of Joe Rogan um it was Jonah Hill it was oh Jonah Hill's [ __ ] funny in this too yeah and the fact that the dude hates him but he's like the nicest dude in the world uh I don't know Matt you're going to watch this now and you're going to be like you guys are [ __ ] insane

it was stupid but I don't know I I just for some reason really enjoyed it all right all right I'll watch it I'll I'll add it to the uh the list look M if you've got ironing to do right yeah always Dan always yeah I put a picture of Billy Connelly in there for you scroll down oh you did where is he oh oh oh oh man wow wow pretty awesome look if we're going to speak about dwarves oh you wanted me to play a jingle I guess oh you can play it quickly but I've got nothing to back it up other than a little [Music] story yeah so um I saw I saw some great

dwarves this week um managed to get a couple of photos but not all of them I I a really tiny dwarf at the Crossing not all the crossing just near my house not all seven of them no did not find all seven but it was interesting to listen back to our um to our best of where the Inception of dwarf watch came out that's right where um I forgotten that it's not just dwarves we need pictures of it's anyone who looks like any mythical creature right so keep sending those pictures in because you know as far as I'm concerned dwarf watches buted camera a way that was short of slap Stile um and ended up missing them and and just not getting the picture but

let me just say two words to you right now right dwarf twins I I literally I literally had to rub my eyes in case I was seeing double were they wearing the same clothes you weren't wearing the same clothes as far as I remember but I was dumb struck I I couldn't believe it I couldn't believe it a well if you've seen anything as impressive as that or yeah if you've seen any any person that looks like a mythical creature um definitely contact us you can email is at podcast multipl nerdgasm docomomo um what have I forgotten I don't think anybody goes to twitter.com

yeah um briefly I just wanted to mention that while I was away I went to NASA and uh I won't go on about it even though I could no you can go on about it in short it all right well it's it's it's [ __ ] awesome and um listeners if you're ever considering whether you should or should not go visit NASA um in in at Cape canaval in Florida you should cuz it's awesome they have uh were you lucky enough to see a launch No No in fact uh I was unlucky enough that there was a launch the day after we left to go to New Orleans and uh and they were trying to sell tickets to it and I was like shut up I don't want to hear about it man that's like the time we went to the v in LA and The Veronicas were on I know

and so we're on the bus tour and the GU was likeing over to the side there there the uh bleachers where you can watch the launch and in fact we've got one coming up uh in just a couple of days I was like shut up I want to hear about it um yeah say we've never had one well exactly they don't they don't launch things there anymore yeah just tell me that say that did you go to the Challenger exhibition we saw um [Laughter] yeah yeah the um the ashtray yeah saw that um that's harsh I feel I feel mean having said that I feel dirty um you know what I found out I saw yeah we saw the launch site for the apoll missions what did you find out oh just speaking of ashtrays um and I and I forget the translation but did you guys know that in

Israel um the word for ashtray is like a dis like it's something they like say to each other when they're trying to yeah they like call him an ashtray because of the uh you know the Holocaust I was wondering if that's why is that true yeah apparently that's that's really mean that's like something I would say on here is an awful joke and then you would use it against me yeah it is but I think it's like uh it's like the nword you know like that's their word like they can say it to each other but we can't say it to nerd yeah

nerd yeah that is our word that is our word so yeah I definitely got a NASA I saw a satin five rocket I Saw the space shutt Atlantis I saw uh I Saw the space suits with the little zippers so they could jerk off on the moon yeah I saw I touched a moon rock um through the little zipper they had a lot of uh lot of stuff about Mars um you know that would interest you Luke yep uh even even though you're not going anymore I still like get caught up yeah maybe on the reserve list maybe I think maybe seems like NASA's got a bit more happening than um than Mars one just quietly well how many application forms of NASA had filled out cuz I think they could go head tohe right now Strangely I I don't think they

opened it up to the general public and charged for um they didn't for admissions no strange do anyone know if bars one actually even started to build anything what are they going to build know but knowing nothing about this I can tell you with absolute confidence they've not built anything I think they've built their bank balance they're meant to be leaving in 5 years or something yeah they're not not going anywhere they're not going anywhere but yeah oh you know what I learned too actually and this terrified me um around the launch sites they have you know fences to keep you know wildlife and and I guess humans out um ye and the fences all all yep and the the fen is all uh uh

curved over at the top uh outwards you know towards where the the wildlife would be and he explained that's because apparently alligators can climb a chain link fence and uh and get in wa that's [ __ ] terrifying that's true why the [ __ ] has there never been a film about an alligator crawling up the fence and Cape Canaveral and stowing away on a space shuttle yeah why the [ __ ] is that not maybe it needs to that needs to be multiple nerdgasm Productions first film yep Kickstarter number two gentlemen yeah Kickstarter number two we need $20 million leave us leave it with us listeners leave it with us what's that we need 20 mil we'll see $2 million we

who it is who plays the rocket the rock It's The Rock The Rock yeah good um Dwayne the rocket Johnson yeah um Luke I did attempt to go to the uh the restaurant that we went to in Salem listeners um Luke do you want to tell them tell them about uh our little experience in uh Sal at a restaurant I thought I thought you said never to talk about that what do you mean you really oh no no no no I meant the food just the food not the restroom not the thing in the restroom just the food yeah um well it was the first time we both experienced lobster bisque and it was beautiful and then the W tried to sell us a boat that's true that also happened so did you guys have lober on a boat after

that well Luke and I didn't at the time we had lobster bisque in in in a restaurant in Salem and it was it was delicious uh and I would say it was you know in the top 10 the top things you've ever had in your mouth in my life yeah yeah and then the number one thing happened in the restroom but um that's another story that's another story so I went back I went to take Jenner and um Jared her brother to the restaurant so they could experience the lobster bisque and I get there and it's shut down a shut down shut down or just closed for the day it is now being it's being converted into a chain restaurant oh so it's it's uh yeah it's going to it's going to be a seafood restaurant still but it's just some chain now instead of just a little

little family-owned thing that it seemed to be at the time however I do have a contender for the crown a Ral for the lobster bisque and that is a delicious meal called shrimp Columbo ohm Columbo now just one is that enticing thing now you can guess why I ordered that meal it was not because it was not because I expected it to be as delicious let me tell you about the shrimp CL and listeners I'm sorry that this is probably potentially very with glasse imagine Luke Luke imagine if you will the lobster bisque but with actual shrimp in it and B bacon bits it's [ __ ] delicious doesn't give

a [ __ ] about your bacon bits but that sounds delicious to me of bacon I like bacon but I don't think you quite understand how delicious this thing [Laughter] was I'm going to have to try it listeners if you're ever in um New Orleans go to the Green Goddess order yourself some shrimp Columbo and also go to uh Crossroads at the House of Blues and order the voodoo shrimp that's also man the Green Goddess is what I called it when I was addicted to absent [ __ ] chase that goddess every night for a little while it was not good oh Green Goddess is what I called it when I um I used to frequent that um that lepus [ __ ] that's all for this week thank you
