other thing is it's not an exact science they don't exactly know when the milk's going to turn so they I think they they lowball it so we could probably drink it tomorrow even okay all right just give it a sniff first I just want to make sure I no I can't smell milk as in you're not physically able to smell milk or you will no it's one of the things I just cannot just can't tell when there's milk around no it's whenever I smell milk whether it's fresh or a days old it's due day it all smells off to me oh and I don't know why so I just yeah the the smell test test does not work all right all right I don't drink a lot of milk these days in

fact I rarely drink any milk unless I'm uh I don't know getting a fancy coffee somewhere but at home I I like the occasional strawberry milk I use almond milk now in uh in things I'm one of those people almonds don't have tits that you can get milk from yeah they do yeah they do to find them yeah they hide them from you but they've got them look use like a just little Fe just use your two little fingers just to find it just to rub it yep inad of your whole hand all right this get weird this getting weird um it is it is so have you have you started using Cofe using coffee if you started drinking coffee is question I have for you cuz I not yet all right so cuz this morning uh we're

starting a little bit late because it's very early here and I needed coffee and I said I need 15 minutes to make coffee and then that's a long time to make coffee that's I I knew you were going to say that and so I was like I wonder if Luke knows that I don't just drink instant coffee I'm sure you have some idea of that but then I do but I've just always grow up especially like first thing in the morning like my parents would always drink coffee and it was instant and that's all I drank up until I was a teenager or actually probably into my 20s cuz that's that was just the thing and that's do you know here you can't even buy buy that stuff like it's very bled 43 it's very uncommon here uh

everybody here drinks the um filter coffee and they have those machines like the Mr coffee machines like in Gremlins where it's like I didn't notti like like the Cofe maches yeah when I'm over there I do drink more coffee and I actually don't mind that drip coffee so it dawned on me I sent you a a message and I said I need 10 15 minutes to make coffee and then I was making it and I'm like he probably thinks I'm full of [ __ ] cuz I don't know if you know how I make coffee and that it that it takes that long you know what I mean this how you make coffee you boil the water which is what 2 minutes mhm two spoonfuls of coffee in a cup pour the hot water in you're done now so I make coffee with an AO press do you know what an arrow press is no okay so I'm going to I'm going to

mean you can you they make that they make those cans that heat when you open them too which terrify I me how the [ __ ] does that work do you know what I mean you get like a can of coffee from a vending machine it's not that common I don't think but you can get it when you pop the can it heats up and it heats up the coffee I'm scared of this technology it's weird right yeah so I mean look don't ask me how it works uh but I have I have had one once and uh it was fine I guess but was it warm enough yeah I think so I think so I don't remember I remember being like oh wow it works it might actually be good for me cuz I don't like really hot coffee but also don't like it cold do you buy coffee out with do you like in in CRA Ever every now and again I'll get a

cappuccino okay oh okay all right all right see that's that's got a lot of milk in it um I don't drink a lot of milk these days but it's just weird like when we like if the team goes out for coffee and stuff it's just really weird to go there and go no it's okay I've got my can yeah no I get them to milk and Armond for me I like them to do it at the table generally speaking oh yep yep yep yeah so directly into the cup yeah just milk that arm and straight into the cup it's getting very sex seual again yeah or if I if I do feel like a bit of dairy I'll have them bring the cow in and I'll I'll milk it myself uh straight into the coffee I'm just stuck going there no all right fair enough trying to keep it clean this going to get dirty with it's just milk manate it's just milk I uh

as well is the levels are quite long okay so you don't really feel like you're getting up to a point where you go look I can put the controller down and go go away and I'll come back later it's feels like no I'd have to keep going and it just you're sitting there for a long time okay interesting I didn't uh I didn't play a whole lot of gears for uh you fight robots now instead of the Locust right well no the the Locust Al not the Swarm are now the evil guys okay I'm also confused about the story now I didn't know what the story was before those bad guys and you shoot him yeah but that's pretty much it yeah I mean look I liked I liked the first one uh I played a bit of the second one and then I haven't really touched any of them so I'm not an expert on uh on the

franchise but you're you're enjoying it or you're not enjoying it from the sounds of it oh I I'm enjoying it I finished it okay and now it's you can go do the whole grindy thing and just yeah I'm not doing any of that I'm done you're leaving achievements on the table is that what you're saying I'm leaving hard achievements on the table damn oh you always come back to them if you need them exactly okay all right well I'm not I do do that quite a bit if there's achievement that if I'm not having fun in a game I won't sit there and play for hours to get an achievement neither will I L neither will I but I feel like your threshold for that is a little different to mine if I have to sit there for an hour or two to get an achievement on a

game I don't like I will do that but see I'm out I'm out five if I play it for 2 minutes and I'm bored I'm done like I just don't have time for it there are games like fora which I put hundreds of hours into that game to get get achievement I still I play that I enjoy that I don't see it just depends on the game okay some I'll grind some I will not I'm looking forward to playing the OU of Worlds again oh did you finish it yes I did all right I've uh I've started it started it yeah I'm enjoying it a lot this is a game I like and I still don't have time to play it that much but yeah it's good uh I really enjoyed it I it's not as big as a normal Fallout or scar game would be sure and I think that come

down to the shio making it doesn't have the resources to take longer to make it right it's it's an independent game basically it's like a little it's an indie game of sorts like obsidians of sorts yeah not yeah yeah but they're doing great with this game good yeah when I'm say when I say it's it's a short game I'm not saying it's like it's over in 10 hours I still spent 30 hours plus in this game right right but it's just not like Skyrim you just never finish like you couldn't possibly do everything in it no there is a definite finish to this game yeah right oh man okay so it's a commercial success which is great for uh for them um and uh which means wait may

I don't know how it works though no look a commercial success but no one's actually buying the game is that true well I guess they thought less than nobody would buy it so that's well if you look at it did you actually buy the game oh no I didn't no I didn't buy the game either and I owned two copies of it I didn't even think of that no I didn't because it came with my game pass exactly huh well I will buy it because I've just read it's coming to switch this is a perfect game for me on the switch really yeah what well yes and no because in my imagination when I'm using my switch it's on a long flight and I want to play a game like this uh in reality um my switch mostly just sits there and every now and then I'll play it uh it's basically the same as my Xbox

so like I think cuz I I took my switch with me when I went to Europe and I thought about that y long flight I'm going to get my switch out and play no I played it once on a few trains didn't get it out in the flight once yeah actually I've got to play I got the perfect game uh for a long flight in the in the spreadsheet but we'll get to that next but yeah out of Worlds I'm still on the first planet I haven't done that much but I do really like it it does it is more I mean I like haven't even played that much of it but it's sparer than Fallout games and and like you said Skyrim like yeah but actually that's kind of nice cuz it's not overwhelming like and I think you you'll notice it a bit more when you fly to different planets as well yeah okay it

gets very it's a the map and the way it expands out is a is what is different and the only thing I sort of don't really like about the game okay is with Fallout of Scar I like just wondering getting lost in just getting into high jinkx yes in this I don't really feel that high jinkx as a part of it okay cuz it's there's just not enough stuff random stuff going on yeah because you sort of fly to different worlds and you do different things it's sort of very yep I'm going over to this world I'm going to do this and you do a few side missions but then you're on to the next one okay okay it's more structured than Skyrim yeah okay but what what I'm really hoping for is because this game has done so well we get the other worlds

too yeah and hopefully we can get that sort of expanded out a little bit more yeah make it more of a maybe not to a 100 hour plus game like a Fallout but maybe if we can get maybe a 60h hour game I'd be happy okay well obsidian if you're listening and obviously you are because uh as we know everybody listens and steals their ideas so here's an idea out of Worlds 2 60 hours of gameplay steal it go on there is one thing about this game you can actually kill everyone oh is that true I haven't tried I don't think I've killed I killed Marauders but yeah no you can just walk into a town and just lay waste to everyone can is it possible to make the game unfinished

in that sense no huh interesting you can play this entire game without killing anyone or without or with murdering everyone however you want to play it you can do it that's pretty neat I'm not sure how but okay I mean I believe you yeah I'm not sure how but yeah know people have done it all I did was my first play through I play it through super I played it through on supernova difficulty wait that's the real really hard one that's the really hard one that's the one where you can only save in your ship you can only sleep in your ship wait you played it the first time like that yes okay I now cuz it's also out on Windows I'm playing through it again and this time I just went I'm just

going to play and throw on hard cuz Supernova was quite difficult and probably stretched out the time of playing now I just want to sort of rush through it a little bit just for the achievements yeah so I'm playing through it hard and oh my God it is so much easier I I'll be honest I don't know what [ __ ] mode I've got it in but it's definitely not Supernova and it might not even be hard it might just be normal I probably it's normal yeah I wouldn't have gone easy because I I mean I play a lot of these games I have played a lot of these games so I wouldn't have gone easy but yeah no I went through super and that's what I did with um with the Fallout games and everything as well I do the whole thing where you have to drink and sleep and

eat I I don't mind that but it's God the the fighting at the start of the game is so hard once I've leveled up and got my weapons there I'm fine but the first part of that game I died probably a good 10 15 times before I got the hang of it you mean in the Marauders on the way to the ship and all that stuff yeah yeah right huh it was just Supernova difficulty was a lot harder expecting but playing through and hard oh my God it's a breeze well I I mean I was quite easily able to kill them so I guess I'm just better at video games than you yes that's that that would be it that's probably all it is no my problem is I try to rush things sure yeah I get I get I'll start

a game and I'll be very be very careful I think I may have mentioned this before Watch Dogs 2 is a good example right because I was playing very carefully right trying to stealth into places and not set off alarms and not get into fights and shootouts but then at a certain nothing well yeah at a certain point I realized I triggered the alarm and everybody started shooting at me and I I killed everybody and I was like ah [ __ ] I'm going to have to restore a save but I'll just do this for fun and then I finished the the quest and realized there were literally no consequences to having murdered everybody and I was like well I guess that's how I play now cuz it's easier it's less time consuming to just go in and shoot everybody and then grab you know like cuz you got to you know

stand they did a little bit of hacking you to do and then leave basically stand there for 5 minutes while the hacking progress bar goes up and then yeah walk outside again so yeah that one that one's a weird one and I found actually an article about it that said how why are there just no consequences it's kind of weird like literally no consequences like you you murder a lot of people mate my character that's it also there's like a weird disconnect there because like I've done missions where I've literally just killed everybody in the building and then then he comes outside he's like hey what's up like like nothing happened and I'm like man my character is a [ __ ] psychopath I'm so I'm still looking forward to the next one and I'll play it

through the same way oh yeah murdering everyone I can as an old woman no actually I don't try to murder people in that game it's just cuz I do try to do the sneaky and then something will happen and I I'll alert someone off and I don't go back and re reload or say why well now you all have to die but then the very next mission I will go back to stealth yes yep you give it a shot and then once the alarm goes off that's it you're all dead you made me do this maybe if they didn't start shooting at me first like they maybe they kind went excuse me you're own private property we're going to have to ask you to leave no you're right they just go [ __ ] nutso on you yeah they brought this on themselves so uh there's a game that I I saw this just before we started so I put

it in here um and I feel like this uh it' be interesting to try and play this on a flight I I my question for you is would you play this for the achievements the game is called airplane mode and it is uh a simulation of a 6-hour flight I if this had if this had achievements I would you would just sit there and pretend to be on a airplane for 6 hours well I probably wouldn't give it my full attention I'd probably watch something while playing it oh you'd have to watch it in game otherwise it wouldn't be an accurate simulation cuz you've got a TV screen on the seat in front of you in this hey I'm trying to get to 700,000 by the end of the year I'll do anything for

achievement at this point me this is a 6-hour flight right I've done worse flights than that this is nothing give me a [ __ ] LA to Sydney 14 15 hour flight like yeah like I've I've done I've done two of these flights long well I've done one flight that's three times this this year damn yeah yeah wellas fly for aart this is AMC games as in the TV channel AMC who makes the Walking Dead has made this game game in quotes uh where you sit on it's you're in an economy seat on a 6-hour commercial transatlantic flight and it offers realistic firstperson views of everything that might happen so uh take off I'm looking at I'm looking at the screenshot this is not realistic there

is too much of a gap between the seat and the window they're cramming people in is this is economy unless I look down and see my knees in my face this is not accurate um you've got uh takeoff and Landing beverage service turbulence inclement weather spotty Wi-Fi access a a complimentary aircraft information card satellite imagery of your flight an inflight magazine and uh ambient cabin noise and there will be a safety video uh for the flight as well I wonder if you get up and go to Lou that yeah that that's what one thing I was wondering as well cuz I don't mention that I'm looking at the picture so you can read a book on there

yeah that you can eat your food yeah yeah oh the man the meal looks so bad as app iing as a as a normal flight oh yeah you've got there a this him looking at his phone which is in airplane mode and it says no headphones found so I guess he's not his batter's about to die this looks kind of fun like I I feel weird saying that cuz it doesn't it looks I I I would not I'm not going to play this it looks like it could be funny I guess is what I'm saying for 5 minutes and then I would be like no I'm not playing this 6 hours do they say when it's coming out or what it's coming out on it will launch in 2020 and it doesn't say but I'm guessing this is just like a unity game so it'll probably be on everything

yeah I I do have to ask one thing about AMC though go on now AMC used to stand for the American Movie Channel didn't it uh sure I don't know do they get to a point where they sort of just have to look at changing their name or coming up with a new well AMC own theaters so AMC I'm looking here we go stands for oh no it's stands okay originally it was American multic Cinema because it was actually a theater chain so the world's largest movie theater chain founded in 1920 and then they went on to start a television channel and yep and now they do from there video games presumably as well now yeah

okay yep yep yep releas on Xbox so I can play it it's called airplane mode coming in 2020 look out for that one it's going to be very exciting I'm I was very close to actually logging into Anthem again so very close I the the music from Anthem is very good and I I pop it on at work often and the flying around I in that game I found fun yeah yeah I I the second I go I have to I want to play and then I have to find a mission then join up with other people and then that's where I stopped liking see the game is I I believe the game is very cheap now so I cuz I I use the uh trial of EA access to play it and then can and then just

canceled so I I just tried it out for a couple of days thought that's a bit [ __ ] and then yeah I purchased it have they fixed any of the [ __ ] issues yet or not cuz last time we talked not really they've sort of no one's really playing it much anymore they're sort of God not not really working on anymore but then they just released all this stuff for N7 day I thought they kept saying oh no no we're committed to it we'll get there yeah they they're sort of being a bit quieter about some of this stuff see I'm wondering if how I think honestly what really happened was they spent all their time that they would have been working on expansions and sort of the the life of it to try and fix problems yeah and so it got to a point where I think it's

just sort of like we've lost so much money we just need to move on to the next thing type of thing it's $112 uh oh my God on Amazon right now uh so I mean the anthem Legion of dawn Edition is $20 which is the the fancy version yeah I paid a lot more on that yeah cheap anyway but yeah see I I I was I was kind of into it and then I got the the main thing that put me off it was just the the way that you have to load out and go on the missions and and it's just like no this is too clunky for me I don't have time for this [ __ ] like yeah every time you finish a mission you have to go back and then no I just want to where forever I am I just want to fly

off and I'll go somewhere else and do investigating and I don't have to separate I want to go off and just play the game for several hours without having to [ __ ] around and come back to the hub I'll come back at the Hub when I'm ready to finish yep yeah exactly and I think yeah but yeah that's that's what this games is a service like your Destinies and all that that's how they work yeah I know and yeah well you're right actually Destiny is the same but the problem is Destiny doesn't try and make out that it's anything else whereas this um well but Destiny has open World areas so Anthem you Anthem you can actually just leave and just fly around yeah okay you don't have to go on a mission yeah but I think yeah I think I think the

where it's Destiny is a little bit different is Destiny when you do that you're going to a different planet and that's fine whereas in Anthem you're not you're still in the same space I think that's where it sort of comes from maybe did you play Destiny too um I tried you tried I tried well in what sense you you not physically able to or you just didn't like it uh I just I don't like grindy games oh totally yeah yeah well that's what I was just thinking like I was like oh I have $12 or I could just play the outer worlds which I have and will be fun and like why the [ __ ] would I play anything else right now yeah exactly yeah but yeah like Anthem like Destiny I like I

understand why people might like it but for for me that's that whole thing of I wouldn't mind maybe going finishing the story yeah but I think with this one the story is probably not as even though the story was not present in the first game I don't I think it's sort of maybe even less in this game cuz they've now found the structure that Everyone likes with the raids and stuff like that so people [ __ ] love that [ __ ] whereas I just like go in finish the story get my achievements oh you want me to go kill a million things to try and get pretti armor mhm middle finger yeah I don't care about pretty armor no I do but I just want to have it as a part of the game I don't want to [ __ ] around yeah oh we played some of

the Halloween content for Borderlands 3 oh how was that uh it's pretty cool pretty cool I uh I'm I like Borderlands 3 I feel like I don't like it as much as I liked to uh or because we played too leading up I warned you of this it might be that it might just be that I'm it's too much it's I mean it's basically the same thing yeah you're a little you're a little played out and I warned you that this is a possibility yeah you did you did but I I'm still enjoying it and I I got I mostly just got frustrated uh and then we came back and played it again uh because there was a boss fight we couldn't get through and then we came back played it again and it we got through it and I I enjoyed it and I actually found out they have they

tweaked the boss fight so maybe that's why yes um so maybe it was frustrating the first time because because it it was actually frustrating and um and they tweaked it so but yeah it's good there's like uh Halloween content called bloody Harvest uh it's cool it's it's interesting changes up the game there uh like the bad guys have ghosts in them and when you shoot the when you kill them the ghosts come out and you have to shoot the ghosts and collect ectoplasm and then that that leads on kind of a a uh another side quest and then you go to a new area where you uh you end up fighting this boss fight it's good I kind of wish I hadn't uninstalled it cuz I'm taking a break from it you guys are on a break it's available until the 5th of December so

you've got some time oh I've got some time I I might try and start installing it now then but then it does go away which I feel like okay I mean that's how a lot of the online game works but it's a Borderlands game never had that where it had content that went away so I feel like that's a little weird H but but this is the new trend this is what everyone wants I know you must play the game now like M yeah but it just how a yeah I don't know but I'm still I'm getting I'm collecting all my gold key things oh yeah I've got one I can't even open the chest though yet because I'm actually not very far in the main quest I've done more of the Halloween stuff than I have the main [ __ ] Quest I've got all these keys and but you don't want to use them until sort of you

finish the game yeah I know but then by that point you don't need them so cuz I'm not I mean I'm not the kind of person who's going to keep playing so no I I'm actually I probably won't reinstall I'm probably going to wait till some the DLC comes out and then I'll go back to it yeah did you get the season pass uh I'm not sure okay possibly did that's the type of thing I would do sounds like sounds like you yeah is there a way I can give them more money yes or here it is yeah take it um tell me what is Minecraft Earth and and what's going on with it Minecraft Earth is Pokémon go oh so yeah it's the I don't care about Minecraft anymore but go on it's the new thing that's going to

take on Pokemon go which Harry Potter manag didn't manage to do I don't think no I remember that came out it was Harry Potter go or whatever it was called Hogwarts Adventure Quest I I played it oh did you um Hannah Hannah's still playing it oh okay um I know quite a few people who were very much into Pokémon go who tried it and then went back to Pokémon go I think with Harry Potter it's just a little bit uh people are still into Pokémon go oh yeah people are still playing it people that's still making money interesting okay so that's why yeah that's what and that's why Minecraft is a new one so I've I've played it it's in Early Access there's no achievements so I didn't really play much of it cuz why bother you get he gave it some limited

attention yeah Y and yeah I don't know it could be interesting you sort of walk around and this time when you instead of Pokémon on the map you'll see sort of things you can click on and then you mine them oh and then you build up and then you can build stuff I didn't really get that far into it I tried stuff in the world uses augmented reality and it's like persistent you can build stuff and it's just there I think that's going to be the the idea that you can build stuff and then people can actually then see it and then you can add to it and things like that okay there got to be a lot of dicks everywhere yeah yeah I bet because you've been building them pretty much we'll wait and see something good may come out of

it yeah I'm I'm waiting for the Ghostbusters one that's what I'm waiting for remember they ghost they were going to announcing Ghostbusters one ages ago and that's the one I want okay you want to bust ghosts everywhere yes want that ectoplasm all over me oh you love ectoplasm you got excited when I said ectoplasm in Borderlands like when I said ectoplasm you you literally got excited I could hear it yeah yeah yeah so what's going on there I don't know everyone's got their thing all right sorry I would have to explore it just accept it yeah Luke's into easm um I uh I haven't seen the new Terminator yet um even though I know you said go see it but then I heard a clip and I wanted to play this cuz I feel like uh I feel like

you and Linda Hamilton would probably get along pretty well based on this clip so Linda Hamilton was on um Jimmy Kimmel talking about the new Terminator and uh and they were talking about how you know they have the fires in California going on I you're aware of that so a lot of people including AR Schwarz Niger have been evacuated from their homes or had been I think he's back now and so because of that they had to cancel the premiere of Terminator dark fate oh on the date that it was on and so um but this is just this is Linda Hamilton on on Jimmy Kimble talking about Terminator dark fate okay uh and so have you seen the movie yet well last night was supposed to be the first time because I really hold off until it's all done and you know I don't want to see

anything in process understand um so there was some disappointment that the premiere was canceled but they did a very small screening for family and friends so you did get to see I did and how did what do you think was it worth all of it it's [Laughter] okay that' be great for the poster it's okay so there you go Linda Hamilton says it's okay and uh yeah so I feel like you and Linda Hamilton should start a review podcast it pretty good yeah but yeah it's it's yes it is okay and but as I always say people should go make up their own minds and see it

themselves it's the worst review ever it really is yeah just go see I I have heard that it is lo has lost a bit of money though yeah it's not doing well like it's on track to lose $100 million or something yeah so they're saying we're probably not going to see any this is going to be the last Terminator movie for a little while presumably I think it's actually doing worse than Terminator Genesis did uh which yeah was a [ __ ] awful movie so yeah that's a shame and Linda Hamilton's doing it no favors and speaking of Terminator I was at Rhode Island ComicCon the other week mhm and one of the guests was Robert Patrick from Terminator 2 plays a

T1000 and I thought oh he he's all right I guess I mean I don't Us in the xfiles and some other stuff and that and uh we we're walking through and I saw him there and I thought I'll go up and say howdy so I went up to say hello to him and he basically just ignored me so so [ __ ] you Robert Patrick on the one hand I mean I didn't pay him any money which is I kind of you know why he's there but he's not working that's right I don't know what he's doing uh but on the other hand come on mate you could at least just say howdy uh yeah he was just he was chatting with a a police officer actually uh I guess about being an actor who once dressed in a police uniform or something I don't know a real police officer or someone cos playing as him

well you know what I don't know now that you mention it it's just a guy who looked like a policeman could be anybody as far as I know was that was it ComiCon there were people dressed as all sorts of things it could actually just be someone cosplaying as him he's going wow I love your outfit yeah but then I was just like so if I if I just hand the lady that sat next to you 50 bucks you'll have a conversation with me uh you know what forget it so I didn't get to speak with him but I did stand uh a meter away from him uh and get ignored by him so there you go that's my brush with welcome on this podcast ever again no you know Lance Hendrickson mate um I did speak to uh to Keith kugan uh for a bit and um I didn't know who Keith kugan was I'll be honest he

was he was sat there and uh started having a chat with us as we as we were wandering through turns out he's the voice of the fox in The Fox and the Hound and uh he was also in The Fox and the Hound it's a Disney movie and he was in you seen don't tell M the Babysitter's Dead uh a very long time ago yes do you know the guy who says the dishes are done man after they shoot all the plates yeah that's Keith kugan wow yeah so I met him he was very nice he oh he's good he's he's in he's in the Jane Silent Bob R boot who does he play he plays Keith KGAN I wonder if they had to do cuz remember uh they had Mark Hamel in James Sol Bob Strike Back yeah but Mark HL is is he wasn't he wasn't as big as he was

is now back then when they had test screenings and he came out no one knew who he was and that's why when they when it actually came out in the cinemas it had hey kids it's Mark Hill flash up on the screen when he came out oh because that was probably then yeah I don't know because like I mean even you I I didn't know who he was I'll be honest at all I didn't know I had no idea and then it got awkward cuz I was like ah hello I feel like it's the whole situation with the celebrities there is awkward I feel like not just there everywhere right on ComiCon though I guess is cu it's smaller um you get I guess good access to these celebrities as they sat there at a table so I've had you know we've had weird run-ins with um Barry Boswick [ __ ] harassers Barry Boswick from um

Rocky hor he makes clocks out of records and he wanted he was desperate for us to buy a [ __ ] clock off him so that was weird I would next next time you go and he's there can you buy me a clock please you want to are you serious yeah he he would [ __ ] love that yeah I'll send I'll [ __ ] I'll I will next time and I'll also try and video it because I guarantee you his little face is going to light up when someone buys a clock I'll buy a clock all right I will buy you a clock from Barry Boswick yes are you a rocky horror fan or is this just a you just a clock fan I'm more I feel like I should I've bet that age in my life where I should own a clock it might as well be one from a desperate celebrity I also I don't mind Rocky Horror but honestly I also have not seen

it in about 25 years right actually maybe not that long it's quite good you should watch it I think the first the last time I saw it I'd not been married have you ever you've never been see it at a I can't get words out you've never seen it at a theater that's the last time I saw it when it used to play in in George Street at midnight okay all right so you have been to one of those yeah cuz they do that the Orum the the in um Crow's Nest Crow's Nest yeah it it's got all the rules where you got to boo and cheer and the rules they'll kick you out if you don't yep yeah you didn't boo mate get out get out refunds like the room like I want to see the room you got to you got to boo and see D me a part

Lisa I say this though Rod Island ComicCon uh is is maybe small comparatively but it is definitely still probably got the same amount of people in there oh it's uh it's very very very busy uh oh I got a photo with Howard the Duck did you see that I did I love how the duck yeah met [Music] him uh yeah yeah I mean you know it was fine uh it was good it's Comic Con some good art we' bought some good art we got some good uh I bought a couple T-shirts from the Indie artists and stuff did you have to line up for a long time uh no we get press badges so no I didn't y I was talking to people at work and they're going oh we want to go to Comic like San Diego Comic Con our kids want to go and I went all you will do is go there and

anything you want to see line up for a day m i I've been to New York ComicCon twice and I there there are bits of it that I like because you know there's stuff there that I like but I'm not good with crowds and stuff like that I get stressed and I get grumpy and then I'm just unpleasant I kind know hard to imagine um but uh and New York Comic Con [ __ ] just sets me off it's just too much that's why like even with packs I like going I but I don't like going to any of the big things I that's why I like hang around like the in the the Indie play the Indie Studios so you just walk up and have a chat to them see some great games or I walk over there and line up for an hour to go see a video yeah see I'm the kind of my personality

being social is you know some people get like energized and and like so tiring yeah it [ __ ] exhausts me like I don't we're like the worst [ __ ] uh media people cuz I don't want to talk to anyone anymore I'm like I've talked to two people today I'm [ __ ] exhausted I can't do it anymore can't talk to anyone else I'm terrible but yeah uh r on comcom thumbs up good it's always uh it's always fun I'm going to go there in 20 21 to R Island ComicCon yep you coming over for a visit I'm getting to the stage where I need to start planning my 2021 year okay all right so you're spending cuz it's nearly here so you're going to come over here for for you've never been to our house well none of you

have no no one's no one's been here but yeah you got to come stay with us well well next year we're doing Disneyland yes we're going to Galaxy's Edge once the hotel opens I'm going to get us a room okay you and me we're going to do win you and me we're going to do the cuz the whole thing you get two nights and it's the hotel is an experience as well yeah it's going to be an experience I'll tell you that oh yeah so we should probably start thinking about that I'm thinking about it right now Luke thinking about it right now we you need to work out when's the quietest time of the year and which Disneyland we go to oh sure like Florida or La I yeah cuz on the one hand I feel like Florida is the the better of them in

quotes like the nicer of them but La cuz I [ __ ] hate LA but La is the original and yeah so there is an argument to be made for both yeah so yeah we need to start and also it's a lot easier for me to get to La than it is Florida good point but then Florida is also the bigger one it's not not easier for me so I don't care and we we could go hang out at the tji Fridays oh [ __ ] yeah drink Long Island and IC teas God that were great long is and Ice teas and then stumbled back to our hotel we went to I mean this I don't know if this is going to end up interesting for the listeners or not but do you remember we went to tji Fridays and then for some reason we didn't get food there we just got Long Island Iced Teas and then we tried to

find we just wandered around looking for food what the [ __ ] did we do that for like we yeah we got and then we went to Olive Garden they went look it's going to be like an hour and a half we'll go somewhere else and iend I feel like we ended up at a Wendy's or something because I think we did yeah why didn't we get food that's I don't remember I can't remember why I can't remember what happened it wasn't like we were loud or kicked out or anything they she wasn't it maybe it was mate no I'm pretty sure that she was happy to serve us she loved it mate she loved us we a [ __ ] dream could you yeah yeah I don't know I tip well yeah but she didn't know that until until they kicked us out I'm pretty sure we weren't kicked

out no I'm sure we weren't kicked out I don't think we got kicked out of anywhere I remember we went bowling remember we bowling that one yeah we went bowling in Philly that's right yeah there we there we didn't get kicked out but there was those guys being really rude to that waitress and we were being nice to her I don't remember you also lost at bowling yeah that's well that's that's that's how I play bowling that's how I bowl I play I bowl badly Disney plus comes out uh in two days here comes out two days for you and then I think we've got week till it's here and if if you needed an excuse to bow out of the the Marvel movies uh you're going to get it because they've now come out and said the head of Marvel's come out and said Kevin feig

that you will need Disney plus to keep track of what's going on in the future Marvel movies because what yeah so I don't know how I feel like this is probably not really true like they can't be that [ __ ] stupid but he's saying no they've done really well in the past of keeping them separate but the same but he said in this interview that um vision and uh Scarlet Witch are going to be in the new do the second doctor strange movie and you might need to see the TV series one division to understand the full context and hopefully hopefully you can still just watch the movie like I don't know maybe I'll but maybe maybe I'll watch the series and like it maybe but if don't like I never watched Agents of Shield I'm never going to but I still

was able to follow the films cuz they brought back one of the characters in Asians and shield who came back in the movies but yeah it didn't I didn't understand how it happened I didn't really face me that much in the movie so hopefully if it stays to that level that's fine I think yeah if it's literally like I don't understand the plot of anything then that's not going to work is it yeah no no the I no there's no way that they can actually do that cuz I don't know they'd be silly too yeah yeah yeah I think so because cuz I'm I'm a for what I like to I like to go to watch Marvel movies I don't like watching their television show and I like the fact that they've you can watch them both and you'll get more out of both of them I might like them I

don't know yet they're not [ __ ] out so don't I mean don't go all in on this yet what if the what if no one likes the show if you're saying you're going to have to watch them well you don't even know if anyone likes them yet so don't maybe don't yeah commit that to that level yeah just just hold off a little bit Yeah well still sticking with Disney have you heard that what's happening with the Star Wars movies uh nothing is happening with them yes they're going to take a little bit of a break a little Hiatus from the movies for a few years yeah I think they realized that they they over loaded on on them somewhat like yes yeah but they I think they yeah they need to go back

and rethink and I honestly think we may see stuff that doesn't revolve around the three main characters coming out cuz that's what's killed them that's what that's what everyone that's that's what they should have done in the first place but they didn't realize I guess took him took him some failures to figure it out yeah like I still think like the best move movie none of this makes me feel good about rise of Skywalker I'll be honest no because even Disney's like oh we're going to have to take a break so that people forget about this [ __ ] disaster but yeah like cuz Solo solo was never going to work in this atmosphere solo is one of the better ones oh yeah I I still don't like solo okay I think Solo's Solo's my worst one

is this cuz you're insisting that they made chewy eat people yes he didn't eat them then why were their bones in there they a yeah all right fine he may not have killed him but he ate them maybe maybe yeah I don't know that but but I think my favorite movie from all the came out would be rogu Rogue one yeah do you know and that's because it was just it was still touched on the main story that we all know but was sort of one removed I read an interesting article uh might have been a forum post I read a lot of Star Wars so it's hard to remember where I read it all I'm maybe a little obsessed but he uh this guy was talking about how Disney have made you know they made various statements about why certain

things happened like why Lorden Miller got directed got directed got fired from directing solo and and all this kind of stuff and one of the things they said about Rogue one uh and Gareth Edwards said was you know how the trailer had a bunch of [ __ ] that wasn't in the movie yep and they said that it was because they were just shooting stuff for fun yeah but since then we found out there were articles posted about how the re-shoot were done by a different director they got another guy in to re-shoot a bunch of the movie and so now I guess I never really had thought about but this they were saying like it's not true that they just shot that stuff for fun they had the movie and then they reshot the movie someone else did I remember I I remember them

talking about there was rumors going around before it was coming out that there was going to there was possibly going to be a sequel yeah right and these people were signing on for future moves which we know spoilers they're not coming back no well they you've getting a cing end or prequel TVC Ser yeah on Disney plus but but yeah it just been well and the point was that you really can't trust what Disney's telling you at all about any of this stuff about God this was all terrible we're having to refill it they not really going to like why did col Trevor get fired why did uh why did what's he The Game of Thrones guys quit why you can't believe any of this and you can't believe anything you hear because they're all heavily like contractually

controlled to not tell you what's going on so the fact that Gareth Edwards seemingly [ __ ] lied about things on behalf of Disney said that oh we just shot that extra stuff for fun which which it seems like that's not true seems like that stuff was in the movie and then they reshot it so I don't know it's just weird we never know the full story no but and they cancel the oh this what this is actually interesting too right the force awakens was heavily reshot and re-edited 2 weeks before uh release which is why um two weeks yeah yeah J.J Abrams was re-editing it a couple of weeks before the release because George is getting his dream the apparently the like

Finn was like the main character of the force awakens more so than he actually is even like in it now now and M on jaku there was that sheriff character that was there were toys of him and they made a wrote a book about him and he's not in the movie key and Finn had a whole bunch of [ __ ] going on on jaku apparently and it just all got cut out and that's why the sequence of events when Finn is on Jau and he meets Ray it's actually kind of weird like if you like the way it all plays out the the um like the cuts and the editing and stuff it's all kind of funny because it wasn't meant to be that way they just changed it all so I don't know it's just it's interesting and they were planning you know the making of Star Wars books

that that uh that that they have the making of Star Wars lot of them coming out lately yeah but there's not one for any of the new ones like for for Force awakens and not for for uh Rogue one doesn't have one because Disney uh shut them there was going to be one there's a the guy who did the other ones the the making of Star Wars I think it's I think it's the making of Star Wars series was doing the book and they canceled it because they changed the movie so much that they were like oh we can't let anyone know that that that's how it was going to be well this is one thing I honestly think should be making George happy because that's one thing he really wanted to come from everything going digital is the fact that you could be making

changes to films so late just before it goes out well he cuz he was re-editing Star Wars was as close as he could but then he still had to send it off to get like manufactured whereas you don't have to do that these days no it's a uh you need it okay yep uh yep download it now do they download it or do they just still send it you know what I don't know they used to send encrypted hard drives I believe maybe they still do that I'm not sure I wonder if they still do that because they still they still would want some protection on there so if it did get leaked they can track it down somehow oh yeah definitely and go you now owe us a lot of money oh one other Disney plus thing that is interesting uh Disney plus is

going to have to run ads for Stars the the Network stars because they sold the rights to uh a bunch of the movies like force awakens is on Stars uh so in order to have those movies on Disney plus they've made a deal where they have to run ads for Stars which I thought was just funny like they have to advertise another platform in order to have their own movies on there so someone probably signed up for something before they knew that they were right yeah so Netflix they had the Netflix deal existing I guess uh and then they made a deal with stars so the new ones started going on there or something or or maybe Lucas film had a deal with them I don't know I'm not sure exactly but yeah so you'll see St you tell me because you you get Disney Plus in a couple days can you let me know what's

on it I want to know if I can watch Buffy Buffy Buffy's on Hulu so probably not we don't have Hulu here I'm sorry but oh actually Disney owns Hulu so maybe maybe they'll switch it up but it it it's on Hulu at the moment or at least it was cuz it's the it's that one we talked about where they they just did a HD Capture of the original and and it's [ __ ] because it's uh they switched it from um 4 to3 to widescreen but when they shot the show they shot it thinking things would be out of frame so you can now see lights and you can see camera equipment and you can see people who aren't supposed to be in the shot like like Willow's supposed to be somewhere else and she yeah she's standing there having a smoke in the background yeah it's

funny I'm not that was a joke Alison doesn't smoke as far as I know but she does it's her life she can do what she wants cuz I do I have it I do have them somewhere but I can't be bothered finding them so I just want to have some streaming service that I can just go down and watch Buffy remember when they Buffy first came out on DVD and it was like a hundred bucks for half the [ __ ] season on DVD yep and we paid for them like idiots yep I still have those DVDs yep I don't I can't because they cost so much I sort of just can't bear to throw them away yeah yeah they're in a I got I've got a bunch of DVDs and [ __ ] to lazy to watch them though my basement is a a catalog of all

my purchasing failures over the years creates some DVDs and video games and [ __ ] you needed them damn right uh there another TV Show filming soon is that true it is so I never thought this day would actually come but well hasn't come yet it's coming soon coming soon evidently they're going to start filming the Halo television series all right uh they've also announced three new cast members oh yeah anyone good so no one thing's thrown me off go on so I was actually hoping that they were going to set this up to be sort of leading up to the war that we see in the games Okay so the whole thing where the Spartans came from they were actually

created to fight other humans who fight um people in outou of planets and colonies and stuff like that okay but then the aliens come in and attack which is where this seems to be taken off cuz it's got like Jacob keys in it who's uh I think it was the commander of the F the pillar of dawn okay pillar of a pillar of autumn okay but there's one new character that sort of announced that I'm a bit I don't know it's hesitant on Charlie Murphy will play mcke an orphan raised by the Covenant that will share that shares their hatred of humans okay that's throwing me off a little bit interesting I don't know anything about the story of Halo so uh other than Master Chef I know Master Chef is there so I guess Gordon Ram yeah it's Gordon Ramsey in armor I

guess and he goes around and cooks for people or no he makes other people cook for him and then he yells at them calls him an sandwich yeah that's all I know about I don't know I'll wait and [Music] see cuz we're still got to wait while they've started filming this month we still have to wait till 2021 am I going to have to know you don't know this obviously I'm just putting this question out there into The Ether uh am I going to have to have played all the Halo games and remembered anything about them in order to enjoy this who knows no yeah okay CU it sounds like they're doing this thing that they tend to like to do with a lot of video game to television and movie adaptions is change the story then that's why you're upset about

it not upset I just find it weird but every sort of video game that they try and make like Assassin's Creed and stuff they try and change it for the big audience instead of the audience that actually watch it yeah yeah I know what you mean yeah make it uh more accessible yes you don't want it to be accessible you just want it as it was I think these movies as they if they came out as it as they were they might bring a big audience instead of just all the fans actually going in and just being terrible and telling people go kill themselves and stuff they might actually have people like it which would draw more people in yeah yeah but what do I

know nothing nothing well going find out how much you know about some other stuff in the Afterparty coming up oh Dan's not here this week oh yeah uh he'll be back next week maybe yeah maybe he's off doing stuff he's off yeah I don't know if we want to reveal what he's doing because well if you listen last week last last thing I saw him doing was shooting a gun y uh at what who knows uh maybe we'll we'll probably never know but he uh he is on a team building exercise uh that apparently involves guns so best luck think it's a really good way to build a team if you're the weakest link you get shot I think I feel like Dan probably is the most dangerous game uh and they may have made a mistake uh if that's what they're doing we don't know no I think he's
