The Anecdote Antidote: Knights of the Old Republic Remake & Oppenheimer

I should say something here shouldn't I one of us should that's traditionally how this goes oh I got caught up with the recording stuff cuz I'm doing a backup recording and I'm so proud of myself but then I forgot to actually talk which is part of the recording thing it's a two-step process really I decided to uh switch back to my PC and then didn't remember how to use any of the stuff which is why I need you to take the backup recording cuz I don't remember how to do that on this computer yep got all on control I'm not doing it in a very resourceful way at all but I'm doing it something is happening that's the main thing welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and

Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy so how are we this week we have Matt back with us yes I am back you guys uh covered for me I appreciate that mhm what we're here for you did tell everyone I was going to be on at some point and I wasn't but that's not your fault that's my fault we were just relaying the message don't blame yourself mat blame your children I did intend to I don't I blame my daughter how inconsiderate just wanting food and attention in the morning yes they're like much like me babies food and attention yeah [ __ ] themselves mind's doing this thing at the moment where it doesn't want anything necessarily but it just won't let you

put it down ah yeah some babies go through that also there are babies that will never crawl they'll just they'll just get up and walk one day yes yes it is true so babies like never get go well thank God that's over yeah yeah I'm out of one phase and into another oh looks like I'm an adult now there are sometimes when a baby just sort of doesn't get left alone enough to learn that sort of thing and then just starts walking before they can crawl so you're saying it's actually better to not teach them to crawl no no you want them to crawl you want them to have Independence otherwise you get into a

position where you have to carry them all the time right so you're not saying they skip straight to walking you're saying there's some ad heard that phrase youve trying to walk before you can crawl wait you that's the Psych theme song is that where you learned this baby I don't know this is just one of the things I I I think it's the I think it's the truth I could be wrong I don't think I am that's the name of Luke all babies crawl and it's sequel it's not my fault oh okay most babies start to crawl between 6 s months in fact some babies never crawl at all asking is if they suddenly just start walking or if there's adults out there that just never learn to crawl therefore never learn to walk

and around yeah you got to catch them out they just go straight to walking right let's all just move around like a like a dog sounds a better no but but you got to you got to think about this you think it sounds better it means cuz that doesn't mean they start walking earlier it just means you have to carry them for longer so they'll still start walking on the day they were fed to start walking somehow they'll know that they should have done something in the middle and they have to allow time for it see I found an article but it sounds just sounds silly because it says pediatricians agree that some babies just never crawl and that's that what okay they've just got together and they've agreed that that's

true and I agree with the experts kids that walk first are not more special than kids that crawl first sounds they are aren they every child's special according to their parents yes they all start doing stuff earlier than the top percentile of something that's true I do sometimes think my baby must be smarter than all the other babies but she's probably just the same it's a hard truth my baby held its own bottle the other day and I was like oh I'm sure you're not meant to do that yeah I'm sure that means you're special say my baby doing that recently so maybe yours is special Dan yeah yeah am I special mine can't walk all crawl though to be clear well you've been able to hold your own bottle for years Luke that's and that's been a problem holding

one right now it'll shock no one hey I have a drinks related anecdote I don't know if this is an anecdote actually but it's it's a drinks related topic of conversation I'm not actually sure what an anote is no anote I know what that is that's for poison I'm not good a cure for your alcoholism yeah it's both an antidote and an anecdote drink water actually that is that is what I want to talk about right so we've talked about on this podcast before the fact that Matt enjoys drinking water and Luke and I don't right yeah we we just don't we just never do it's very boring in taste mhm mhm um not anymore I drink a [ __ ] ton of water now and I absolutely love

it you know what the secret missing ingredience was bubbles cordial oh no I drink [ __ ] carbonated water all day long now do you did you get one of those uh soda thingies sod mhm so you just basically get tap water put it in there put some bubbles in it put it in the fridge and Away you go correct it's amazing it's changed my life I'm hydrated for the first time in 41 years it feels like I'm drinking soda but I'm drinking water yeah so you just tricked your body is essentially what you're saying it knows it knows but somehow it doesn't care your mouth's like oh a treat but

your brain's like [ __ ] yeah Aqua maybe I should try that you should cuz I normally just mix Mountain Jew into mine into into your body and then the bottles and then the Bott no into the soda shom and then the bottles get sticky wait into the and then I just go back to K Luke no no no you could actually get the the mixture of of syrup oh even when I do that I I'm not putting just care about Je in I don't know what watering down a mountain you no I um even when I use syrup which is actually quite rare but I um I do it in the glass I don't make a whole bottle of it oh sure so get sticky bubble no no no i b i bubble a bottle yeah but then make individual glasses the bottles get

sticky yeah and then your refuses to put them in the dishwasher yeah she refuses to wash them they can't go in the dishwasher what am I meant to do you it's funny your wife refuses to wash the soda stream bottles my wife refuses to let me have the soda stream out on the bench because it's ugly so my soda stream is in our linen cupboard and the only shelf it fits on is the bottom shelf I.E the floor right so not only am I like soda streaming in the cupboard I'm literally crawling into the cupboard like [ __ ] Mr tus style is it just is it just the whole thing she doesn't like or is it just the color cuz maybe you get a different color one said there's actually quite there's some fancy ones out there she's just she's not have any of

that okay I've B out and I don't use it so you put the syrup in and carbonate it with the syrup in there no no no you carbonate the water and then you pour the syrup in but it still gets oh you pour it straight into the bottle yeah okay all right he makes a to do that yeah yeah I I drink a lot of soft drink yeah or soda as my American friends call it if that's the case Matt what do you call like if somebody says I want a whiskey and soda meaning they want a soda water with whiskey in it does do Americans go do you mean Coca-Cola no like how do you differentiate between soda and soft drink I think well they don't have soft drink they just I guess I think it's because yeah context you you would you wouldn't order

a Mountain Dew yeah you you order it by like a whiskey and Coke or ex Coke I did ask for when I in no whiskey and soda I think you would ask for yeah yeah you ask but yeah lemonade no that you that's you can't ask for lemonade there I love lemonade there though you can ask for it they'll just look at you weird no they'll just give you a different thing to what you're expecting you have to ask for sprite if you want sprite Sprite Which which is weird is that like the only brand of lemonade soft drink over there or there other and uh there are like the you know the off-brand ones I guess it's like if you ask for Coke and they just

give you a Pepsi if that's what they've got exactly yeah but then lemonade is not like Sprite is not lemonade Sprite is that genre of Beverage like you know like Coke is Cola M Sprite is that citrus stuff that in Australia we call lemonade that here is not called lemonade yeah do you have um scheps cuz that's the best lemonade yes we do what would you calls is Pepsi if you wanted scheps would you have to still say Sprite and Hope they've got I don't know that they have scheps lemonade they have scheps as a brand right cuz I know they have like the tonic water and stuff I don't know I'll investigate yeah yeah okay delicious oh listeners just write in and and then I won't have to

yeah people who overheard us talking in bars loudly yeah all they were really wanting was for us to leave the bars so they could have some peace and quiet and they know we'd have to record somewhere else so it's all a ploy man I was reading this week that uh the Cyber truck has been delayed again I'm sorry have to tell you that but um why didn't they email me if you'll uh if you'll allow me to present a uh an alternative I've got something you might like more and then I think I do before we go on I do think I know why they haven't emailed you to say it's delayed okay have they emailed you to tell you when you're getting one yet yes I did have well I mean my I got an ETA when I ordered it Oh I thought it might have been they haven't giving you a date

understand buying a car like this and then not using it I mean that's fair putting it somewhere yeah but imagine taking this in to get a [ __ ] inspection done get a REO check yeah just need a REO check and the guy's like the [ __ ] yeah it's like you got a permit for that rape pole on the back yeah I do actually right here you know no I would love these but yeah not not practical certainly no um but yeah the the Interceptor that would be a nice one yeah just cuz it's a piece of piece of History piece of Australian history and that's probably the one that's closest to be able to be driven on the road

sure did we discuss that the Mad Max sequel which was going to be based on chariss theon's character furiosa is not starring they on after all yeah yeah your girlfriend an Taylor Joy yeah Anya Taylor Joy is it is she playing as is she playing the same character but a younger version or okay yes she is how are they going to explain how in the future her eyes got quite close together compared to how they are now it's just that story that's being told at the time describes her that way there be a scene there'll be a scene where someone punches her yeah right at the end um is it Bruce Spence that really really tall guy who's who's in Warrior yeah he's going to be

like it's not how I remember her looking I'm going to watch it one day I own it now even I still haven't seen it you haven't seen no I don't know why have you seen any of them you seen any Mad Max movies seen like the I've seen up to Beyond Thunderdome okay so all of them except for this y pretty much I played the game the three and then and the game well the game's great the game was great game I wish they'd come out with a new one of that I love driving around the sort of the Wasteland and upgrading my car and getting achievements but don't be the auction you can do that in real life ex the Wast just drive around just drive out into the middle of the

desert the desert's like 5 minutes from your house Luke drive across that big Salt Lake I could but no I hly if I'm online at a time and I can get something for under 10 10 doll dollars yeah yeah maybe he can maybe no one's interested in this not likely to stay at a dollar just just want to make sure you guys understand that proba jum I've never been to an auction I've never been to an actual auction where they've said well I guess we just start I going to look like AOL right it's auction they closed the auction and it's like well only one one person bid on all of them so you get all the cars for a dollar each it's never happened before and I'm like [ __ ] Luke alers and you're like L please sell me

one for $2 and you're like no that's a 100% profit L yep no I'd keep them all for myself actually where would you store them store them at Matt's house we just got to get them there yeah I've got that's okay we use your backyard just we'll just she go back out we'll just store all the bad backs cars I've got room for some of them I'm not sure I could fit all of them that war rig is pretty big all right I'll pass on the war rig pass it on to me imagine driving that to work every day imagine paying for the petrol to go in it this is America petrols cheap oh that's right until it's not it's called gas

speaking of movies yes so uh Dan you've started watching Harry Potter yeah I've started watching Harry Potter why because I haven't seen it and trans book and he just wanted to get in and learn more about it yeah did you read the books at all when everyone was doing that no well I was too a it this this came out when I was in my 20s so I I had no interest I don't know like but to me you would even have sort of less interest now and cuz at least if you read the books you sort of got that you read the books I didn't mind that I'll watch the movie you just watching a kids movie now yeah I watched it with my child I mean she's too young to understand it but I thought oh you know

I'll put on a kids movie um I remember them being quite good yeah okay so I'm going to I'm going to work my way through all them um the first one all the kids which I was Jesus disappointingly they're all adults now they work work my way through Hogwarts um the first one which is which is strangely titled in Netflix as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer Stone except they call it the philosopher stone in the film so I think someone got their wires cross with the international title there mhm yeah but I found that to be that's happened with a few movies on sort of prime I think Prime's guilty of that the book had did it now okay um great movie really enjoyed it um second one Chamber

of Secrets put that on today not as good still good not as good but uh looking forward to pushing on and um seeing how we go I'll say this though um one thing I wasn't expecting in the first one you guys have both seen it right yeah yes yeah so this is a movie that's 20 years read the books yeah okay so I don't know how this was described in the books I was ask this as well there's a scene early on in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer Stone where they go into philosophers well not the one I watched they go into a bank right mhms and in the bank is Jews it's full of stereotype hooked nose with claw I'm talking Borat parody

Jews mhm I couldn't believe that's what it says in the book eyes no but in the book it says Harry walked in and he just saw a bunch of Borat hook no stereotyp seriously I I is this back before JK ring was trying to hide her Prejudice this is no honestly I can't believe they made the bankers old timey medieval Jews they're goblins right or goblins what are Mt yeah they Goblin no no no I mean chose a goblins right we agreed on that yeah goblins yeah like if you if you Google see look Jew stereotype and you print that I know the one you're talking about there's a Harry Potter goblins I know the the character CH that you mean oh I see I see what you're saying yeah yeah all

right yeah there's no other way you could describe this other than the the typical like gold hoarding Jew from racist cartoons G the goblins and JK Rings Harry Potter anti-semitic and the consensus I mean on the internet appears to be she might not have meant to be but she appears but it definitely is yeah yeah yeah um other than that though I thought it was a pretty good movie you going to go to uh to Diagon Alley at Universal Studios I do enjoy going there there's a dragon oh I haven't gotten up to one of the Harry Potters with a dragon I do

have a question though um about quidditch yeah that silly sport soly there's a whole team right and there's three balls and everyone's going after all the balls to score points etc etc except that there's two people called Seekers who are going after one specific ball after which the game is over if they catch it and they've won so why have the other ball necessar other teams because he can capture the ball but not win go on for scoring with the other balls you get 10 points per goal or something the snitches I think is worth 150 so if you catch the snitch while the other teams in front you can lose so you could win just by scoring

individual goals with the regular ball yep and are the names of the balls Dan I don't know the names of the balls I've seen this people I think there's a quaffle and a there bludgers yeah the bludgers aren't the bludgers the players that [ __ ] work blud it and then uh yeah they know so um could you conceivably have a whole game and no one catches the snitch no because that's how the game ends so that there's when you in the books they talk about games have gone on for days okay but a game could also go for 5 seconds yep if you grab the snitch straight away mhm Okay

cool so it's not a very good sport like it's really hard to plan you your weekend viewing schedule around it yeah that's fair that's how I feel about Cricket po I was about to say that's that's why I can't commit to a cricket match yeah I feel like that's a pretty good comeback if someone was to say to her isn't it stupid that the game would go on for days and days and she say cricket yeah and then they oh yeah good point good point I also think Cricket's a silly sport unless it's the like the 2020s but just get out there and hit the cricket doesn't even have a golden snitch like I know who makes two dreams up this [ __ ] honestly Cricket ridiculous between uh between watching that and um I'm reading the secret history by Donna tart and between

that and Harry Potter I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't get a boarding school experience you know what I mean I think it would have been fun going to a posh boarding school sure you could read um was r dar's book where you went to boarding school boy boy that's the one and they made him warm up the toilet for him all the bullies how did he warm up the toilet go sit on it don't ask I hate going to a public toilet and sitting on a warm seat that is literally my worst nightmare that's cuz you're not a bully Dan that's the niest thing anyone's ever said to me that's how you know yeah if I liked it I was like oh it's should be warm yeah it's like like

a witch if if the witch floats she's a witch if the bully sits on the toilet and goes oh it's warm he's not a bully oh oh that's another game they should remaster yeah I don't know why they haven't remastered that all come out with a sequel i' play the [ __ ] out of a new bully oh I do know why because they could just keep releasing stuff for Grand Theft Auto online and print money yeah why work on anything new did you see they cuz they were doing the Xbox series X and the PlayStation 5 upgrade but that's been push back to next year I think they're going to sell the game again Jesus Christ I know there's lots of remakes coming out that I want GTA5 is not one of them remakes I think because of the pandemic and

everything I Reon we're going to see a bunch of remakes because people were kind of hedging their bets a bit I think over the last year mhm so and yeah you don't have to start from scratch it's like people will buy this yeah well there's one coming out in like 3 weeks that I'll be buying and have you seen the price of this the alen Wake remake I haven't seen the price it's like 40 40 bucks [ __ ] yeah in Australia $40 20 30 like ridiculously cheap $29.99 okay that's great I got a shock when I saw the price cuz I'm thinking it'll be like a it's just normal price what's the release date Luke uh 5th of October okay yeah that's not far I'm really bouncing around between

games at the moment guys I can't find something to just really sink my teeth into I've been I that problem a lot yeah I'm a bit not not to say it's not good it's it's it's not valhall it's me I just don't want to play anymore at the moment and I Tred going to try and get the um the Next Gen update out for S Punk so I stopped my play through cuz it's they said it's still out this year so I'll fig I'll hold off about that too and then start again or um May you'd be better off to start again I think yeah probably although they are some very nice pants though long as you wearing the same pants it's really takeen with the gold pants and I don't know why now that we've mentioned cyber punk I think that would be a Miss to not tangent into the Matrix oh

sure so earlier in the week yeah earlier in the week it became evident that what is the matrix.com which was one of the first ever online viral media campaigns back in 1999 was it that the Matrix came out U when the internet was very new um was back online and I went to that site and they had uh two nice little clips that you could watch by clicking on either the red pill or the blue pill which gave you a different perspective it exced extremely excited then later in the week the actual trailer came out and all my excitement drained away I thought it looks good I don't know man but also we don't really need another Matrix movie so I was confused about how there is another Matrix movie

but I was like I I mean surely they're going to the character is dying right so surely they're going to explain that in the movie uh when I see it and then I read an interesting article that I think I said you guys I put it in here that seems to indicate this is not I guess 100% confirmed cuz we haven't seen the movie yet but the marketing only refers to the Matrix it does not talk about the sequels sequels there's that but I also put another article in here which is sort of hinting at this might be follow on from the MMO RPG that came out which is directly after the sequels yes the MMO is definitely Cannon or has been so far as has yes Enter the Matrix the animatrix um Path of

Neo CU but people thought that because they were like you know like Lawrence Fishburn was like oh they didn't ask me to be in this and then people were like what's cuz you're Mor is except he's not dead he's in the [ __ ] trailer and they confirmed that that's Morpheus so just a younger hotter guy playing he's yeah he's just a different different actor he's just been replaced which just makes it more confusing I'm so conf we have to wait but also that's not Neo that's just Kiana Reeves if anything it's John Wick like it's like they said KY come and play Neo and he's like no I'm not going to do it I'm not going to cut my hair or shave my beard and I want to be on my motorbike like he's not

FY I saw a tweet the other day made me laugh someone said that when they first saw all the Matrix trailer stuff they thought his name was Neil because and he's really adamant about it because there that scene where he's like my name is Neil and if you watch it thinking that it does sound like that if you don't know great well that's like that whole movie based on um agent Smith thinks his name is Thomas Sanderson oh yeah he always says it as one word Thomas Sanderson Sanderson sorry you saying Thomas Sanderson or Thomas Anderson I haven't seen that in ages that little sketch that's good so when's this one coming out is it this year or December December's going to be

busy yeah at least in Australia yeah well you if you're not all locked in your bedroom still well if if 70% of our population get vaxed the following Monday becomes dday for going outside V Day V Day V dday yeah spread it around no you can do that now you can get an in there's an intimacy clause in our lockdown what if you live by yourself you're allowed to fill in a form to say this guy's coming over to rail me yeah it's got to be a guy yeah it's a specific guy it's um it's one guy the government and he's very good at his J yeah oh by the way can I just make a

quick correction um for last week um uh something something I said on last week's show that was incorrect Ron Howard is an actor who stars in um American Graffiti John Howard is a former prime minister of Australia clear Ron Weasley is a little ginger kid yeah nothing wrong with gingers wow wow but yeah so in December if we if everyone does get V roll out out we get to go see the Matrix but then also that's when Dan will get to see Dune so this is going to be annoying because if Dune I I will have seen it before then I promise yeah there's no way I'm allowing that to happen I'm going to be disappointed I'm not going to see it at the cinema for the first I'm going to go

see this in IMAX I think I'm going to well see this is where you have to be good and wait and go see it on day one for them to make the second part of it you need to give them money at the theaters well well they need to put it out the same [ __ ] day it comes out everywhere else because if it doesn't I'm going to go and watch it in cougar well Den villain came out this week and he said at this stage it's very likely they're going to be doing the sequel cuz June came out in U was Venice Film Festival it's already premiered technically and got mostly rave reviews couple of people didn't like it but I mean whatever but I think those people aren't going to like a big space epic anyway quite honestly and

mean know and as we've discussed a million times just cuz review is like something doesn't mean anything oh I don't agree with critics at all so as a rule we are not thinking the same thing yeah but no D you need to make sure you give them money yeah no no no I I want I want otherwise it's your fault they don't make it it's 100% your fault it is a lot of responsibility if you want to see the ending speaking of ending speaking of movies that should have been one movie that weren't one movie have you noticed that um they're coming out with a Lord of the Rings 31 Disc set Jesus Christ what did they are these Blu-rays what Blu-ray found just did it together how 31

Blu-ray discs of a movie my home movies as me as a [Laughter] child now just fit on One Blu-Ray instead of four DVDs it sounds like that might be the case yeah yeah uh I'll be close oh no for what director Peter Jackson explained last year that he attempted to address visual inconsistency between Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit no unless made the look more like I'm not interested mate cuz they looked like yeah Matt he made his [ __ ] least favorite one he's going to change his favorite one to make it more like his least favorite

ones I yeah but unless he thinks The Hobbit was like visually good but he does he thinks The Hobbit is how they should all look I want that he's probably artificially upped the frame rate on Lord of the r that's why yeah no don't do that Jesus Christ all right wait it's a 31 dis set and it's got this is the list of special features can's Film Festival presentation re Alamo Draft House cast reunion The Fellowship of the Ring read through two towers read through return the king read through 31 discs get yours down wow wow I doal features watch people sit around the desk and read a script

yeah it's in very high resolution yeah I don't care about this I don't think I'm just going to keep my old Lord of the Rings box sets they were good they were beautiful yeah and they had the uh the book that was the arug enough yes yeah which was lovely someone I know had those was it you or was it Dave yeah I had him Dave might had him as well no Dave doesn't watch things with kings and queens oh that's a good point yeah yeah you must be thinking of mine yeah yeah I don't do dragons sorry dragons listening at home yeah you can't put me on your list to come over uh there's a film Luke might be interested in been shopped around anyway uh I'm not sure if you've gotten a pitch

on this yet Luke Christopher Nolan's pitching his uh movie about Oppenheimer which sounds good uh and then you can probably just decide what the ending is yourself Luke that's what he does for all these movies now it's just making it obvious no no I made that bit up I made that bit up I just put that in there as a joke maybe what should happen like Luke do you do you think that he's just making you decide or that everyone has to decide from themselves no just me yeah that's what I mean so maybe from now on he can just come and ask you to write the ending to the film how would you end the Oppenheimer movie we've had the Manhattan Project they've dropped the two bombs on nagashi and Yokohama Oppenheimer regrets that

Republic 1 and two sort of trying to mesh them into one game and okay but it was recently announced that as a coming to PlayStation 5 yes uh and N PC MPC yeah so I'm thinking and hoping really hoping that it's just uh uh timed exclusive and the way that they've worded it it does seem to lead to it is cuz it says console exclusive on PlayStation 5 at launch right mhm that gives the indication that maybe down the line we'll see it because I really want to play it again yeah I mean we haven't this this trailer does not have any game footage it's just a doesn't have much at all right it's just a you know R shows you R

Mar know that it's just a video of Revan which shows nothing so uh but yeah hopefully timed and hopefully we'll get to play it in a year's time do they have okay so there is a release date on this or we don't know oh no just a year after it comes out that's normally a year normally timed exclusiv you get like 6 months or a year but there is also um like Final Fantasy 7 remake Sony paid a lot of money to have that as a typ exclusive for a year and then they renegotiated a deal and got it for another 6 months yeah right and Sony might be starting to try and do this with what Microsoft's doing now Bethesda oh like good point coming out saying Starfield 2 Starfield scaring 6 like these games are going to be Xbox

only yeah they're playing the game so I can't be super mad at them I can just be dis disappointed in them which I think is worse mhm cuz I really I would love to play it again but I'm not going to buy a PlayStation to do it couldn't if you wanted to that's a good point there's that but also I'm lock into achievements I'd be getting trophies sure but there's there's games you if you were going to buy a a PlayStation it's games you would have done it for before this surely before a game you've already play I brought I did buy PlayStation 3 to try and play through the Uncharted and The Last of Us and just sat there MH yeah I I kept forgetting that I had it yeah so yeah it didn't really work out cuz yeah you've got the Xbox you

remember that's there and Away you go that's right we'll we'll see in a year's time well I I keep saying a year's time it's probably going to be a couple of years I would think so given that they have no footage at all unless it's like um they're like surprised it actually already serious I also think this is one of those ones you don't need to advertise it and show off footage for a couple of years to try and get people to buy it yeah but if it's a remake that's how you will get people to buy it is to go here's what it used to look like now here's what it looks like yeah and is it a remake like uh Final Fantasy 7 was a remake in which case maybe you do because it's pretty different I yeah I well I don't know but for me for something like this people

are going to buy it no matter what like it's cuz I assume the game play can't be the same right cuz it the as as great as it was at the time it's pretty clunky now they might turn it m clunky maybe more into a bit more of a hacken slash than the whole thing where cuz didn't they just used to fight themselves didn't they yeah like you basically attack that person and people would yeah it was turn based but almost like a down RPG but they just shifted the camera behind you but you still just kind of like attacked enemies and yeah you don't have to keep hitting for attack attack attack you attack once and then you might yeah you might key up now use your special move type of thing but I don't know how are there any games

like that anymore that people still play I mean there are like you know there's been pillars of Eternity and and that kind of thing again there are isometric but I mean it kind of just was an isometric game that shifted the camera like kind or played that way cuz you would just say like you just queued up all the different attack it's basically Dungeons and Dragons I think it ran off the the D20 Star Wars rules from Dungeons and Dragons right so yeah well we'll wait and see it's a 20 year old game so they're going to have to yeah do a lot of work to make it look good 20 years old yeah it's nearly 20 years I remember when it came out I played that when I lived in stano with Dave that was 20 years ago are you

is it is it's not out here hm and I find it interesting I thought it was out later in the year they decided to put the Black Widow movie with all its big tent pole stars and it's you know they put that online shangi that's kind of I would have thought a much safer one to put straight to streaming no got a seat at the cinema yeah see I really want to watch this but I actually didn't even know it was out because things have just been so weird lately and and because it's not on streaming it's just I just didn't even notice that to come out see the reason why I think they went with the black widow one is cuz they know there's that audience and they would get that people buying it from

home with this you do just want people to go out yeah and cuz I think this has done quite well at the at the at the at the theater so far uh I'm hopefully I'll get to go to movies next week cuz I do I didn't know this was out and I also want to see free guy but this I don't know much about this character but I'm interested in seeing so can I like the actor this just got this just came out in theaters right shangi stream no okay it's not streaming it's only in theaters all right that's yeah yeah all right have you guys seen this though the um the star of this movie simu has uh had a previous career as a Shutterstock model and of course all of his stock photos are now resurfacing and

just becoming memes it's just a it's just a pre-made meme generator these are great good on him cuz I I just know him from um Kim's Convenience what yeah did anyone did either of you see it no I didn't see that actually it looked it looked good though it was it a Canadian show it's about uh Vietnam family running the convenience store oh okay so that's the only thing I know him from and now this stock footage these are very funny I love what he says about it though CU you know people are putting them everywhere and and somebody says like you know you still getting some

money for this or whatever and yeah he must be ring at this point yeah he's like I I paid 120 bucks and signed away all the rights to them because I was in credit card debt there you go mhm uh oh some of them are just really shocking yeah but that's that's how those things work yeah I do like that one he posted me laughing at the people who thought we'd flop and him pointing at the screen good on you mate that's he seems cool m he does but hope so hopefully if if all goes to plan I should be able to go see it next week all right so is it out in Australia I don't know I'm looking at cuz I guess let me have a look maybe

they delayed it there it came out on the third here and like I said I didn't even know it came out and then I saw people talking about it online I was like [ __ ] they came out like I I don't know I just I mean obviously things are a mess with all that stuff these days so I I just didn't know it was out well I can't even check it's just I go to C Mar goes we're closed Traer looked really good so I actually I really do want to watch it I just didn't know it had come out so I'm like mean here there is no coming out everything's closed yeah all right we're in more of a lockdown now than we ever were before melbour went through the same lock lock Sydney didn't go through them yeah I mean we had we had stay at home

when you can but if you can't [ __ ] it we had that's fine 16 yeah we had you can't go to a club or see a live band but everything else is fine I think um at the moment CA will probably come out of lockdown this Thursday night okay cuz yeah we have our numbers are down oh it's going to be on streaming in um 45 days from release oh okay all right that's still different to what they did for Black Widow because Black Widow was day one right and I think with black widow you can buy it now to watch on Disney or you can wait until October and they actually tell you when in October it'll be free to stream just on the Disney Plus app M there was another show I actually saw there was they gave you the option you can buy it now or rent it and it was $30 to rent it

or $35 to buy it and I'm just who's renting in that case yeah I know what you mean but at the same time I don't want to buy a movie I want to buy a movie I I'd buy movies all the time now you don't own it Luke I buy the license for me to watch it yeah but that's what renting is yeah but it lasts a bit longer than renting yeah but that's what that's what it is an undetermined amount of time that is still definitely finite I haven't been burnt yet but there's nothing worse than going seeing something on the streaming so was go I want to watch that and when you finally get around to watching it it's gone yeah now if Xbox have sales and there's a movie I know I like not even world
