oh so the only four days before it was uh set to air I believe they pulled it and I thought there was something controversial when I heard it had been canceled I was like what what what was in it yeah but no it's just the fact that they brought out the contract but they're still not allowed to play it in other countries until next year so they're still airing D track Discovery in America yeah but nowhere else right that's a weird thing to do it really is I can understand like stopping it and going no you have to watch it on our on our platform that makes sense that's why yeah they were always going to do that [Laughter]

watch the entire season to get the story it's today we're going to investigate this planet and something's going to try and kill us and we will escape you spoiled it now I've spoiled every single episode of Star Trek the Original Series son of a [ __ ] I'm sorry well speaking of TV series you're going to watch this hello hello TV it's remake of alo alo I guess it's called hello oh it's a prequel though because there's only one hello only yeah so it's said before yeah it's got some guy putting on some World War II armor I guess I I think this is a tie in with um Master Chef Master Chef yeah it's Gordon Ramsey stars in the helloo prequel yeah I may surprise you I haven't even watched the teaser yet yeah well you're not missing out it a whole lot

yeah that's right and because people are like oh live action is it live action can you tell no be CGI I have no idea what I'm looking at really I just watched it seems to meot of Darth V getting his helmet put on from um Empire Strikes Back except with Master Chief helmet you Paramount plus oh it's on paraman is it yep but I'm still upset with you I paid for a year subscription so I have Paramount plus and I'm not using it well I mean Star truck you can you could hit him up for a refund surely and just say hey I was going to watch that show that you were [ __ ] advertising to me I kind of use a VPN to get to it they're actually I think they've actually I have an Australian account it's not like

Netflix where it's just where you view it is where your a lot of uh stuff sites like that literally just block you if you're on a VPN at all and they can tell if they can tell you're on a VPN like okay I think Netflix has slacked off on it a bit again remember they were cracking down for a while I think they've just even I think it's more lip service cuz we use a VPN for work and I if I'm on it sometimes I can't even get to my bank website oh yeah and it's l and eyes work vpns won't let us anything right no but this is because the bank's blocking me yeah because it sort of makes sense well it doesn't it doesn't right because isn't the whole point of VPN so that my my connection is secure like if I'm at Starbucks right I want people sniffing

my bank traffic so I go on the VPN to like encrypt my data and then the B is your bank an offshore Swiss bank Matt by any chance no no no don't think so not unless I've accidentally opened one but again it's the bank blocking me not you know America blocking the bank kind of thing but it's also I think it's more so as a thing like to try and protect you from people using vpns to hide who they are why they hack into your account I is it also just any VPN or have you like selected Nigeria or something as your no no I I think it's just that what there's probably a you know like some company that is make makes a list of all the VPN servers right and says here's a list of IP addresses these are the ones you should block if you don't want vpns connecting so they and they and it's

easier just to block everything yeah so they just sell that to you know whoever and then they go all right we'll block all those mhm Etsy you can't get to Etsy on VPN Etsy blocks yeah I wonder why scams probably uh yeah maybe people buying stuff and then not paying for it who knows that's a good way to get free stuff by the way is it tip for you oh was just listeners VPN to Etsy order stuff don't pay for it and then they still I'm not quite I haven't quite worked all the K turn on your VPN yeah yeah I'm not quite sure how how it works there's one step you're sort of missing once you work that out I'm workshopping it yeah we'll see Soo give them money thumbs up or thumbs down so far from what I've seen of it um I'm thumbs up but I'm a little biased MH

yeah now there have been some liveaction Halo properties out there already and I've enjoyed them yeah yeah I even enjoyed one you enjoyed a trailer no no no I there was what was it Forward Unto Dawn was that the Forward Unto Dawn that was good that was quite good yeah I watched that yeah and see that it wasn't so much about like Master Chief or anything it was they were there but there was an actual story actually I think I want to watch that again was the Arbiter in it uh no he was not cuz this is about I think it happened very early on in the war spend money on Aliens no they were aliens okay they were aliens but it was very early on in the walls like their first attack aliens are all unionized so you have to pay them more if you want

them to be in a movie it's expensive now I need to ask someone has put in here a movie I was nearly going to go see today I need to know if someone seen it and if it's good and that is last night in SoHo oh yeah so uh this is by your favorite director am I right right well he he was my favorite director and then a little movie called Baby driver yeah that was garbage that was garbage this has the songs and the hair do of baby driver but mhm but it actually is interesting and has good characters and an interesting plot so I say thumbs up on last night in SoHo all right it's I might that go then the film it's probably well the films that it's closest to in tone are maybe some of the early palansky movies and then even something like susperia by Dario

agento um but it's one of those kind of horror movies that tricks you into thinking it's not a horror by not being a horror for 2third of the movie ah I just I I like the look of it cuz it had bright lights in it very bright light colors the Argento uh and that fluence that pulled me in yeah no worth it very good cuz yeah like tomorrow I was going to be going to see Ghostbusters afterlife but because we've gone back a decade we now have stuff released ing a month after America gets stuff so we don't actually get Ghostbusters till next month just G crazy with release dates now no see last night in SoHo I think you'll like it man I think you'll like this too like to watch this solid movie yeah I'm actually looking forward to even seeing Venom oh I I saw the trailer

for the new Venom movie when I went to see uh eternals yeah wait and that's out isn't it it looks good that's been out for a while Venom Let There Be Carnage hasn't it no no it comes out this week oh no you're right yeah right I thought that was out for some reason oh it's probably out there Matt yeah no it's not we have wa six months I just checked it's not so yeah but the the trailer actually looked quite fun it didn't look too bad I wasn't a huge fan of the first one I must admit no me either neither did I I started watching the first one again today and I S of got halfway through and went yeah but I think the second one's got a very different tone yeah okay fingers cross at the the sequel will be better than the original I think they have gone more in

and making it a lot more like Deadpool okay right mind I wasn't a fan of the second Deadpool even I enjoyed the second dead enjoyed it but it wasn't it wasn't as good as the first one the first onean never going to live up to the first but evidently Ghostbusters afterlife is really showing us that um it wasn't so much all the reasons everyone cited for hating the 2016 version that made it and it's and this suffers from the same thing and It suffers from the same thing that Ghostbusters 2 suffered way back in the late ' 80s or early 90s whenever it came out it's not Ghostbusters which was the yeah that they're not Ghostbusters and that was a one-off thing and we don't know why it worked it just worked yeah right yeah I saw an article about that like yeah it was just like the

perfect storm back then that made that movie sort of work and that's why it's never really but it's born cartoon series and yeah I don't know I don't get to see it for another month oh yeah the reviews for afterlife aren't that great and I saw something strange uh Jason rman came out today or a few days ago and said this Ghostbusters 2 is still Canon why wouldn't it still be Canon I I I don't know is is Ghostbusters 2016 Canon as well like is it all Canon is the real Ghostbusters cartoon series Canon yes where Slimer came and lived with them for a [Laughter] time but he said to is Cannon but you're you're saying it's weird that he felt the need to mention that or yeah so there must be there must have been something out there that gives people the impression that they maybe two was

no longer well I mean a lot of sequels that come out now are sequels only to the original films and not the sequel so like the Halloween all that yeah it could be that people possibly Matrix I've also heard a theory that maybe in the Matrix The Matrix exists as we know it that would be pretty epic we'll find out one day yeah I'll find out soonish I think yeah that'll find out before we do y when's the Embargo for it uh I'm not sure I don't know I should probably learn these things probably look into that before we discuss it yeah I'll find out I watched a movie this week that uh I Know Dan saw um I watched no time to die this week mhm oh what did you think it was all right you been over Daniel Craig's

Bond or no not that I'm not sure I'm not sure he was bond in this movie I'll be honest but that's fine uhhuh well was this just of generic action movie no no sometimes when he acts you wonder whether that's James Bond the character or Daniel Craig the actor talking directly at you sometimes I felt like the film was talking directly at me too I don't want to I don't want to spoil anything because you know I know not everyone's had a chance to see this and and it is it is it was good I did have fun with it but it did feel a bit like they had a story they wanted to tell about James Bond but then they they also had a list of things that they were like oh I got to address all these things and as it went through the movie he just traveled from tick boox to tick boox

towards his eventual the actual movie that they wanted to make which was like kind of like the end of it oh you're not wrong I don't disagree but but I liked it I think I liked it maybe more than you did but I'm sounds working my way up to a second viewing by watching all of the Craig era bonds and and just things that are paying off in no time to die that were set up right back in casin Royale and I I really enjoy the fact that like we're 25 films in now but we had to get to 20 before there was any continuity you know like I really value that um kind of extra I mean it's what we talk about with television all the where I don't I don't like the continuity I like the i i any spoil this has got a lot of

first in it for a James Bond film with that's and then and CU I heard someone I was listening on a podcast the other day and someone said oh my my friend saw it and I haven't seen it yet but they told me the you know the spoiler and then everyone was like oh yeah and I was like wait wait I was like hang on a yeah exactly there are several things that you could mean by that I think in this movie this movie's got a lot of stuff in it I mean there's one there's one main one isn't there more than one Dan wouldn't you say that there's one that's a little bit more of a spoiler die no I'd say there's more I'd say there's more than one I mean there A lot happened in it there's at least two that I think are kind of big deals in this mhm mhm um does he get a blumkin

I'm not going to tell you what it is the [ __ ] a blumpkin I mean I can tell you what I mean by that we' have to cut it out and then so cuz I don't want to spoil this for people yeah it's true well next if he tells me what a blumkin is that's a SP no for James Bond yeah yeah I don't want tell can you tell me next week cuz has it been out two weeks yet it has but this is spoiler late and I'd feel like an absolute [ __ ] if I started talking about I'm surprised I didn't hear any of these things because like I said there's there's several things in this that that I if you told me I would have been like oh [ __ ] like mhm okay well I expect to know next week that's we do a spoiler we could do spoilers in the last 10 minutes of this episode and let people know if they want to tune out yeah all right cuz

actually I would enjoy watching Matt explain all these stuff to Luke there's one uh one question I have right and this is just simply because I don't remember I've seen all the Craig films but I don't sorry Craig Daniel Craig I mean by that I've seen all the Craig movies um the Craigs double O Craig the the French girl that he's with at the start was she in any of the other films or she knew yeah no no no she was yeah okay that makes more sense cuz I was like who is she she was in in the end of the previous one Spector he drove off with her having um resigned from MI6 which he does in almost all the films that's the thing he is teetering on the edge of retirement from the GetGo the Daniel Craig James Bond character spends more time not as a secret agent than he

does as a secret agent either retiring or going rogue yeah exact he's that's also human real life just trying to get out of her as well it getting pull back in yeah yeah what if we add an extra zero to this check then would you crawl across the broken glass I didn't this dislike it there was just things I disliked about it and I felt like it could have been better if it had just not had to deal with is it also maybe you you're thinking this because they made you wait for so long to see it as no I wasn't like I wasn't like hanging out for it or anything like that like I was excited like I was Keen to watch it but I wasn't you know upset about or anything I just with how long they held off and wanting to go to the moves and all the stuff they did I

thought that you'd come out of this thinking it's a better movie than I'm not you don't think it's bad but the way that they've sort of advertised it held off spent a lot more money updating all the things you'd think yeah it would be a great movie yeah it's just I um I I thought it was very well made and I thought right from the start you were in the hands of of a director who was really giving you a well-crafted film I think I mentioned last week that I thought it was a good movie but I hadn't decided if it was a good James Bond movie per se and I still don't know um and the weird thing is I thought Spectre which is probably what I find the weakest of the five Craig films um did a

decent enough job wrapping everything up in fact too good a job I I I felt it tied off too many loose ends that didn't need to be tied off and then had him retiring and driving off and it was odd that that wasn't the last one yeah I almost feel they had the last one it's definitely the last one yes he's not I think that's got something to do with a spoiler they make that very clear well they make several things very clear that was another thing again it's not a huge deal but there was it was like the film really wanted you to know certain things were were wrapped up cuz like you have characters go yep that's dealt with like they' have a conversation about it afterwards and you'd be like okay yeah that's dealt

with turn they don't want any ambiguity about certain things like no no don't get on the internet yes yeah not done all right M and then another one kept mentioning things to he made me laugh a couple times this is not a huge spoiler but there's a bit where they they dropped that device down the the the Elevator Shaft and it shoots out the things and it blows out the bottom and I was like that's a very specialized device like whatever it's James Bond movie and then they jump then they put the harnesses on they jump down and the Russian guy goes magnets and I was like yeah obviously mate I didn't need you to tell me that explain what what else is going on it's quite a lot going on explain some of that yeah this plot is I think some

of those things though I don't know I don't know what you think but I I think James Bond movies Chuck in a few of those from time to time and I wonder if they re-shoot after some executive goes I don't understand what's going on in this scene yeah it could be because I watched Casino Royale this week and they're playing poker and if you know how to play poker or just if you know how to watch a film it's pretty it's pretty obvious what's happening and but then this one character who keeps whispering to someone like play by play yeah that's two Aces if he has a third Ace that's three of a kind yeah I know I'm at a [ __ ] high stakes poker game more I know how to play the game well there's even this one bit where Leif does this um this scratch of

his eye and um and Bon goes up and says I figured out what his tail is and then he goes back to the table and Leif does it again but then it cuts back to his friend going that's the tail like yeah I know the director just cut to a closeup are you not aware of what the director is showing us with his camera yeah it's yeah there was like a screening and people were like what's he talking about and so they're like [ __ ] all right we put a shot in with someone makes that clear for you someone explains it to you yeah yeah it's sort of sad but it's very possible you're right on this though yeah yeah look lots of Gadgets in this one Luke you'd probably like it from that aspect a lot of things I felt were classic James Bond about this yeah they brought back some stuff bit more humor I

think than there's been in in couple of on Dani Craig ones yeah and then like a lot yeah a lot of gadgets lot of I've only seen one Daniel Craig one and that was the one where his house family house was called something Skyfall was it yeah you should Roy skyall is the there only one Royale for me uh David nen yep mhm yeah yeah yeah can't improve well says Leif oh French champ [Laughter] just to do do anything action I love that the first take where it goes and action and then there's this big pause and then you just hear awon

from off camera and he's like hm just just do anything and he's like cut oh God uh I watched something very good this week I watched shangqi and the legend of the 10 Rings such a good movie great movie disne plus now yeah I know yeah I I'm thinking about seeing it again yeah I'd watch this again this is great this is not like second tier Marvel movies this is a good movie yeah right cool all right y why is your shirt off yeah yeah and then it's very funny seen another one that I should so I should watch this over the other Marvel movie there's two Marvel movies out right now right mmal shangi is technically not out now it's been out for a while I just haven't

seen it right was it's on TV now yeah look I don't know anyone who's enjoyed eternals and I almost expected you'd like it Luke just from like a hipster point of view of being like no I loved it cu the first time I was so close to getting up and walking out of the cinema wow like it was that bad cuz it was offensive to Islam and you were upset by it yeah cuz they depicted the prophet made no sense right I the plot of the movie is that the these alien things are trying to give Earth an abortion there's the movie plot also just to clarify in case the listeners are confused why I said that the movie was banned in several countries because because apparently it's got something

offensive and because Luke has embraced Islam yeah that's right I wasn't just making some random nonse Muslims no it got banned in a few countries most likely due to the the gay characters and then also um the fact that they're Gods yeah okay all right yeah I wasn't just being random that's why I uh yeah I nearly got up and got out I sat through it all and yeah yeah right that bad they do say the eternals will return and I was they vocal in saying my God no the crowd was like Boo very close too and I don't think they're getting a sequel or if they do it'll be a straight to Disney plus they're not going to pump money into this to go to the movies straight to Disney plus wow is is shangi like the start of you know

you have the phases right shangi feels like it's part of something bigger I would imagine they wanted shangi to team up with some of the eternals and Spider-Man if they can get him back and all right yeah all right that's what yeah he's not going to be teaming up with the eternals I think he'll team up with so these are like building up to something he'll bu team up with Doctor Strange I think Doctor Strange is going to be the one that ties there is a a small Doctor Strange connection oh right but then again Str the new trailer for Spider-Man I did man I don't know they lost me a long time ago with this this I'm looking forward to it this is going to be fun that new trailer [ __ ] hell like I again should watch into the spiderverse for [ __ ] sake I know I

know we should it's it's the problem is now I know I should but it's been so long that it's like off my radar most of the time until till somebody does what you just did and says what have you [ __ ] seen that yet I'm not like at risk of building this up so that you don't enjoy it it's very very good yeah I've heard that but no I just don't like this Peter Parker I don't like the tone of these Spider-Man movies I don't I just don't buy into it I'm not excited I enjoy them well see everyone enjoys them I wish I could this trailer's got a lot in it and then also someone pointed out in stuff's been removed from the trailer digitally you can tell in some spots and I like oh that's interesting too so there's even more going on than we've

seen it hasn't been removed well I know it's like at the last minute they were like hang on you got to remove that so yeah I'm interested to see what it's I you were right though we spoiled last week that Jamie Fox would return and he makes a little cameo in the in the trailer yeah so I I mind you they made less of a deal of it in the trailer than I thought they would have yeah he's just kind of like there in I mean doc a bigger bad guy but Jamie Fox is arguably a bigger name thaned he looks completely different Alfred Molina probably a bigger name but would more which character would people know better yeah yeah true all right so I got to watch shangi and then I'll watch eternals when it's on Disney plus I'm not going to no no don't even have to watch it

there I actually went to the don't don't don't watch it I want to see it now because I want to see how bad it is so I to segue um so the director of of the eternals is also slated to direct a Star Wars movie right yeah but as Star Wars track record doesn't mean anything mhm yeah a lot of people they're getting a Star Wars movie now a lot of people have been have been slated to direct Star Wars movies and it turns out apparently a I've been sheld Kathleen Kennedy likes to hire and announce the hiring of imaginative Visionary young

directors who will bring new and interesting directions to the franchise then when they don't just do what they're told she fires them and gets someone like JJ Abrams or um Ron Howard what's the guy from Happy Days Ron Howard to just come in and do a cookie cut a Star Wars movie and it seems like she's scrapped a couple more fig around how did you watch that Willow thing I sent you the little feature at for the new Willow TV series oh I didn't no but I should it's great I'll send it again again and to the show here's the plan Dan you watch the willow thing Matt you watch spiderverse the willow thing it goes for about two minutes fine yeah oh it's great it's it's like a very um it's just W Davis being funny and interviewing the new cast and it's

very funny oh okay right yeah um you know what makes me sad is war Davis in the new Willow like does he yeah right yeah because one of the cast members he like oh he's like oh was it feel to be the you know the new Young Generation starring in the you know in the sequel to the to the film and then the guy's like oh is a movie of this is there who's in it he's like I'm in it I'm in it that's great um probably a couple of people who won't be returning Val Kilmer won't be there which is sad unlike and vilma's wife who um they hate each other now cuz they're divorced I guess she either bad MOA was that her name in it yes the redhead good movie but anyway apologize

going to be there why there's no reason why she can't go back that's a good point what is she doing now they're like [ __ ] the star let's just get the star's ex-wife who was a minor role not a minor role less major role um if the reason that you're not going to watch into the spiderverse is because it's a cartoon I can ensure you Ensure I'll insure you you insure me I'll give you cash if you don't like it's a guarantee I can assure you it's done really well I also watched another cartoon this week that I'll just Chuck out here I don't have a lot to say about it it's called The Spine of night I don't even remember who told me about this or where I first saw it but if you just want an old timey 70s style psychedelic sword and sorcery

cartoon then this is the movie for you I I saw you had put this in and so I clicked through and I actually watched the trailer because I for some reason I have heard of this but I'd never seen a trailer and now that I've watched the trailer I was like [ __ ] I got to watch this they took years to make it's it's got a a pretty good cast of voice actors and it's rotoscoped um so it looks like the old uh the 70s Lord of the Rings that they made if you've seen that I think maybe cuz richardy stars in this and I think maybe when he was in Loki I think maybe that's the context in which I heard about this and but I never followed up on it but yeah definitely worth watching yeah it was great great soundtrack from

the trailer man the music is unreal it's like I was about to say it's anachronistic but this is this is not historical so right it's fantasy movie yeah yeah yeah like there's drugs and swords and lasers and some kind of this steampunk Airship comes in at the end it's it's pretty cool have to watch it okay so what we won't be watching sorry I distracted us from this but with the we were talking about um Patty Jenkins is not making a Star Wars movie now has it is it official or is it just rumor that they're not going to mention it's officially been pushed back which I dare say is a nice way of saying with Candace and which is sort of a shame this is the one I was kind of looking forward to but also the one that I think should have

been a television serious this was the Rogue Squadron one yeah did you see that teaser trailer for for this Luke where she's on Rollerblades yeah no that's why I thought this was odd that like they made such a big deal of announcing that's what I mean they had love to announce who they've got and then quietly sack them like Colin trevo yes but the thing Colin Trevor makes this huge movie so they bring him in and he won't do what they want so they sack him Lord Mill it's got a list here in the article Bill Lord Chris Miller Colin trevo Josh Tran David benof and and Weiss although they kind of shut themselves in the foot with that [ __ ] interview they did no but all of these people have shot themselves in the foot either by having a film that didn't

perform as well yeah that's the thing if you get hired on a Star Wars movie don't do any films in between yes I don't or don't get up and go oh we actually have no idea how what we made was so good we I don't know what we were doing other people did it for us yeah yeah we Winged It for the first couple of seasons and then it got [ __ ] yeah and now and now we've kind of learned how to make stuff but not really yeah I don't know what those guys we lied through our teeth to get that show but this also says whoever leaked this has also said g Edwards even we forget he got Rogue one right about that well cuz we didn't know for a long time they they covered that up fairly successfully yeah then it became their M but this also says Ryan Johnson is uh shelved which makes Ry Johnson was

shelved many years ago I think they've just finally gotten around to telling him yeah I think he read this article and went wait what yeah sure but I but he talked about it so often like as he talk to the internet and it was going on and on about how he was doing his own Trilogy I wouldn't be surprised now if he makes two more knives out and then goes no no no no that was the trilogy I was talking about yeah not a Star Wars Trilogy no I got to watch knives out I've heard it's good it's not bad it's okay it's okay go to the movies for it I did but yeah I did as well Matt it's if you want a good mystery just watch some old episodes of Columbo if you want an average mystery watch watch this awesome Murder She rewatch old episodes of Columbo yeah

re I've seen him a few times now um speaking of episodes of TV shows um you were talking about an episode of Masters of Horror last week called cigarette Burns that I hadn't seen the name of it but yes yeah yeah Jenna jumped in and um pointed me towards it watched it during the week holy [ __ ] it was absolutely excellent yeah basically um The Ninth Gate but with films instead of books yes and Norman readus instead of Johnny Depp and it was excellent really good love the instead of what's that guy's name oh yeah instead of uh oh yeah don't know his name guy the glasses you know who I mean Ninth Gate I can't imagine the guy who played Skeletor in the 1980s Masters of the Universe Franklin jell Franklin

jell is his name you can't imagine what oh Norman Reus being anything other than the Walking Dead see I think of Norman Reus as The Boondock Saints yeah Boondock Saints guy I I think of him I mean I certainly saw him in cigarette Burns before I saw Walking Dead cuz Master Sahara was in the '90s right or or early 2000s cigarette Burns was 2005 yeah okay early 2000s yeah like it seemed like Luke just like recall knows but he clearly up in front of him he was so don't ruin it for the audience man I mean I don't know that for a fact but I just he just said that so quickly he just was like oh that was uh 2005 and and I was like I went the [ __ ] and now he's looking he's must be looking at it um but I I always think that I wonder

that when CU I listen to a lot of history podcasts that are done by academics and like they they really make it seem like it's off the cuff and they're just encyclopedic on it and these guys do have PhD so maybe they are or maybe they've got notes yeah yeah maybe they have notes some of the stuff they may remember or they've done a lot of research just before they've recorded that one yeah yeah well I was disappointed when um one of our friends Jordan used to be on a game show okay that had a host on each team that was the same each week and then different guest stars okay yeah yeah yeah and the hosts knew all the answers right and when I found that out I was really disappointed so basically the hosts wait

for one of the guests to answer and if they don't they jump in with the answer the hosts on the teams know the answers huh yeah right okay well there there's no real stakes in it is there competition and it's comedians in it's like you know it's like uh yeah I'm guessing it's like that what I like you kind of yeah exactly it's exactly like that yeah because if if they had to brought people on and no one knew it' be would be a fun show yeah yeah so someone's got to know so he always basically question and they're like well I guess write in and let us know yeah I don't know either that's why I was asking I didn't bother to look up the answers I just looked up the questions I uh I played a game briefly

very briefly I I caved because everyone said this game was very good I poo pooed it quite a lot before it came out it's guard thexy yeah you weren't going to play this at all I I really really heavily poo pooed this game and then it came out and everyone hey everyone I heard it was great so I uh who who lied to you I mean so far it's great I've been playing it oh I'm enjoying it but I wouldn't say it's great really yeah yeah but you I haven't finished it yet you play all sorts of garbage though yeah that's why I know stuff that's good I was going to say it's not enough achievements for you is that what the problem is no no I I messed up on one achievement and I got the [ __ ] and I stopped playing it yeah see I'm I'm not going to care about that

I won't even know that I've missed an achievement no this game's fun it's like uh when I saw the trailers it seemed like maybe it was trying a bit hard to be like the movies and then when I saw the game play I think I just didn't get it because now I'm playing it and I'm like oh no no this is good like you just play starlord and you play and then you can kind of tell the other Guardians what to do through menu menus makes it sound more compc you hit a button and you go yeah okay Groot make a bridge kind of thing like it's it's cool and uh no no and it's not as enjoyable it's not like they just ripped off the movies it's obviously heavily borrowing from them with the way the characters are like and the tone of it but it has to yeah can't go too far away from the movies now even

though cuz yeah it just doesn't work you need to still have some relationship to what those character CU that's people know the movie characters now there's no one there out there now who's a fan of the comics but not the movies right yeah no it's good it's fun I'm having fun good soundtrack it's got lots of you know uh 0s hit do in there and some uh good stuff and then the Star-Lord band Yes yeah that I like that actually there's a band called starlord so if you're streaming it there's actually a streaming option which gets rid of all the license stuff the license stuff and then us listen to the starlord soundtrack yeah so there's like a fake hair metal band called Star-Lord that he listens to when he's a kid like the beginning you play as him as a kid oh so

that's where he got the name from yeah in in this yeah nice no it's fun I enjoyed it that's cool I will finish it sometime this week there's just a lot of games at the moment I'm having a hard time and at the moment my go-to is just to go back and play Halo multiplay player today yeah some new thing came out right yeah well they they said they weren't going to do it but then they have released this Halo multiplayer like a month early from the game coming out [ __ ] liars and it's fun again now you don't like multiplayer Luke generally not but I have been playing it a fair bit lately and maybe it was just I wasn't enjoying it because I was playing stuff that I wasn't good at no Halo this is taking back to it feels

like old Halo 2 yeah all right yeah just run and Gun I'll check it out so that's free is it it is free I can do free or it's part of Game Pass I don't SP money so there's a Black Friday sale do you guys get those in Australia do they do that yes we do there's currently 900 plus games on the sale I I bought Guardians and I also bought I haven't played it yet but I bought the Resident Evil Village one oh yeah I should get that as well but I still haven't played Seven oh neither have I I don't care or three is that that one with the sexy female zombie that everyone blang the big vampires yeah the seven foot yeah yeah yeah I bought that one cuz you know everyone said it was very good I bought a couple of Updates this week bought the skying update because oh yeah I'm a

chump I I don't know why you brought that bought that um it on yep that's great y looks great oh yeah have either of you play ity I put it on I put it on a you update yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah was it very different no no no not at all not at all no I've not fished yet so I'll let you know Lake that's the biggest update I think is the fishing and then there's the mods included and stuff you get all the DLC though if you didn't have that already yeah but you already had that with the last Edition you I know I'm just saying the other thing I probably should have looked into this but with the fishing right if I go you I presumably you get a fishing rod from somewhere and then you go and you fish and then do you just end up with a fish

afterwards cuz mhm different several different fish to collect yeah well no now the survival mode the survival mode where you've got to see survival mode I think would be fun cuz I remember surviv survival mode on Fallout 3 I think it had survival mode so you had to worry SLE and food and water you've got to catch fish to eat there you go that's what it's for exactly in the normal game I just eat cheese yesel well I I was tempted to start again now that you know just just to start again but then don't start again I'm not going to start again opening of that game is just so slow oh just the fact I'm already passed it I've just done so much and I'm like that if I played it again now I'm not going to take the time to collect all the stuff I

collected I'm not going to build the house I'm not going to you know do all of that stuff so if I play I might just pick up from where I left off yeah and just complete the main story like there's plenty missions that you can still do from where you left off T got T defeats the purpose of buying the update but no no no no cuz I like to play it with a higher frame rate yeah that's I can't tell the difference still I you can if you play it for a minute first and then put it on you can definitely you can definitely tell and I also bought the update for um Jedi Fallen order oh didn't have did you have to buy that well it cost me all of $7 or something I finished that game so I'm not going to bother with that that was

good though I'm I was annoyed a great game releas it's very good right after I finished the [ __ ] game but it was a very good game yeah no I I enjoyed it very much and uh just stopped playing so today I started again and it was so you can actually yeah continue to play it and finish it yeah I plan to if my child allows me don't forget throw it on story oh it's on story mode for sure 100% cuz that game's still hard on Story mod it is and here's why it's hard it's not hard because the combat's difficult or anything like that it's hard because it doesn't tell you when you can't do something that it seems obvious that you should be able to do so you stand there for AG ability yet trying to jump over something going I must just not be [ __ ] jumping at the right time yeah

but it no you don't have double jump yet or wall run or yeah or your little um bd1 doesn't have the surge power yet so it can't yeah yeah move a door or something yeah y as once you understand that hey I may have to come back to this planet later and I just move on then it becomes a lot better I won't though speaking of uh speaking of Elder Scrolls they've uh Phil Spencer this week hinted again that scroll 6 whatever it ends up being won't be on the PlayStation it's going to be potentially Xbox only he they haven't confirmed it but he did kind of allude to it again they've pretty much come out and said like unless you own an Xbox or a PC MH you're not playing this game yeah CU they have confirmed for Starfield haven't they but it's also not going to

be at anytime soon well Starfield is only a year away yeah the fact that Starfield still a year away means that Elder Scroll 6 or whatever they're going to call that oh that's 25 26 25 26 years I can't wait that long yep but oh no bring bring give me Starfield that comes out next year next November I can't give it to you haven't got it but next year I will I'm Keen but yeah to a game that I have no idea what it is I guess know it's going to be good this news doesn't affect us because we all have Xboxes Soh but but I think it is kind of a big deal to not have these either of these games on the PS yeah that's a big deal but hey they get good games we don't get so yeah they' had the the best sort of exclusive for a long time now it's Xbox's turn

cult now it says it's a sex cult but I think that's a stretch just cuz they were [ __ ] doesn't mean it's a sex cult right sure that's just that's just one of the added perks of being in the cult like yeah like if if you're the cult leader and you're exploiting a whole bunch of people and you're embezzling money and you're doing all of this stuff yeah yeah that's a cult you're a cult leader if you're also [ __ ] the people that's just you taking advantage of the fact that you're a cult leader that's not sure it doesn't mean you're in a sex cult right yeah but um it's not the purpose of it it's yeah

protagonists of this docu series are the guy who made the documentary what the bleep do we know back in the early 2000s I know and the girl who plays Aunt baru as a young woman in the prequel right they're married right and they escape from the cult and the doy series is about them telling you about it and trying to get other people emancipated as well wow all right yeah but I'll say this and there's a there's a yeah whole bunch of people in jail spoilers yeah okay I thought so I was these articles about it yeah yeah during the yeah during the pandemic it all it all came yeah um I'll say this

she was on television pretending not to know the word for cucumber she was how you say in English uh uh cucumber yeah M okay well so I this thing about how she also deleted all of her old Twitter posts that mentioned growing up in uh Spain oh [ __ ] sake mayca right she's supposed to it she's I learned about it just this week she was pretending to be Spanish for a long time it made me laugh quite a lot link to the article if you're interested but yeah like the [ __ ] like why yeah this whole time well it's just from Boston and she was but she was just said that she was from Spain had us putting on a fake Spanish accent yeah like on on TV appearances and stuff her name is not Hilaria Baldwin it's Hillary yeah right yeah I think her last name is Thompson

right yeah something like that name yeah yeah not definitely not Spanish and then there was there was just one older interview with Alec Baldwin someone asked about it and he was like ah don't worry about it what are you worried about that for ask me ask me something else yeah that's great yeah yeah it's just odd um but that uh leads into followup I guess there's some more news on the uh the rust shooting incident another lawsuit which we we knew was coming last week a lot of lawsuits but also a lot of finger pointing you know cuz this particular lawsuit the the it's the script supervisor who's suing now in Australia we call them the continuity

girl right or boy no it's never a boy could be it isn't it's actually illegal for it to be a boy yeah yeah she's comment said there was nothing in the script about the gun being fired what why would they learn it even with blanks then yeah that makes zero sense yeah like you would not even have Blanks on set but but they weren't shooting a scene they were rehearsing a scene so it doesn't that's true so when when when you say the script no shooting in the script at all is that what is that what she's saying no I think she's just saying that the scene that they were rehearsing to shoot yeah he wasn't even meant to pull the trigger of the gun it was just meant to yeah like he yeah but no exactly Matt because what is she implying is she

implying that there were no bullets whatsoever on set because there was no not meant to be any discharging of guns Alec bald brought a bullet in his pocket that's yeah exactly what are you trying to say here you're saying Alec Baldwin decided to murder this person like is that what you're saying and then and then the answer to that probably no it's like well then what are you saying like I think it's sort of so weird that they can go and start all these lawsuits before the investigation with the with the police and everything is even completed yeah maybe you maybe you have to maybe their loyers are all advising them if if you want anything in the future do it now don't be seen that you waited because this is the first

person who's actually saying cuz remember the Gaff of sued last week but we weren't actually sure what the damages were for she's actually claiming that she's been psychologically traumatized I don't know if I saw someone shot in front of me and died that would sort of freak me out a bit yeah so I'm not I'm not meaning to imply that she isn't um in trauma just that that is what her lawsuit is for yeah I just think that's an odd call out I just like how they say like in our opinion Miss bow and chose to play Russian real when he fired a gun without checking it that's not his job to check the gun particularly here though that comes up a lot like I've had conversations about this where people like oh yeah but you always check the gun I'm like yeah but

you're not an actor on a movie set like I feel like in that context like I know what you're saying and absolutely right like here in in in America most people are exposed to guns right we're not I wouldn't know to do something like that right because we don't have not exposed to guns in Australia like hardly ever right but he gets handed a gun and says this is fine even if he opens up looks at the bullet can he tell the difference between a dummy and a live bullet he's not he's shouldn't necessarily even he might not know how you maybe somebody could but and then they're going say be handing a gun if he doesn't know that it's like but he's an actor like it's not the same thing but a lot of actors have come out this week and I I watched um I can't remember his name but the the

one of the guys from Scream and he was also in um Romeo and Juliet and he's been in a bunch of other movies as well but he's had lots and lots of gun related scenes right and he's like never has anyone on any film handed him a gun told him if it was loaded or not loaded and then walked off like he's like what they do first is they do training with you prior to it where they teach you how to tell the difference between a blank and a bullet just by looking at it then they run you through it on the day of and then you don't have the gun during rehearsals and then seconds before you take the take a guy comes in and hands you the gun and says hold it there okay that's exactly where it needs to be okay we're rolling now I'm going to step out of frame now

you're going to fire the gun then I'm gonna step immediately into frame and take it out you're not just holding it while you rehearse yeah you're not just have because everyone's like oh there needs to be tougher gun control and and maybe they're right but there's also an argument to be said that if it's procedure that is the law is followed that there aren't any accidents like as far as I know and what all these people are saying or seem to be saying is that all of the gun related accidents on movie sets have all happened when people were doing the wrong thing yeah which it tends to sort of happen with stuff like this like there'll be something bad that will happen everyone will go very strict and then nothing happens for a long time so people start to slack off like it's a

it's just a bit of red tape we have to go through don't worry about it and then something bad happens then they go no we got to enforce this again a lot of like it sounds like 99% of movie sets do already take this very seriously and that's why everyone's going why wasn't this shoot like that as well yeah yeah and what it does really seem like it seems like due to co they had like reduced the amount of staff and everyone was overworked I mean this is just clearly way too casual with it like way too casual from what it sounds like the fact that there were safety breaches and War CU what you're describing Dan is what I would expect right is that like because I guess what I was trying to say is that like Alec B we don't I don't know how much of an expert Alec Baldwin

is in Firearms right maybe he does he seems like he's the kind of person probably isn't into them too much I could be wrong because he's an American they a lot of them are but he's from Long Island though I don't know if they've got a lot of guns on Long Island do they right I I wouldn't think so like it's a very Lefty kind of area right he's a very Lefty type of person that's that's what I mean he's probably probably not super in he seems like a gun control guy could could yeah I could be wrong but but the thing is I guess if as an actor you don't need to know how to use a gun and but then I guess maybe there's an argument that well he should anyway like if if you're not by default necessarily but then again as the producer of the film yeah

but in the scenario that you're laying out where where I'm standing there right no one's even handing me a gun until I literally have to have it for the shot and and then someone's doing all the checking stuff that everyone's saying no you should do this should do this right but there's someone whose job is supposed to be to do that right so if I'm standing there on the market someone hands it to me I do the thing and then I hand it back there's not really like am I am I going to do the same checks that he's already done kind of thing like like maybe it should be like that but I just feel like a movie set is different to you know handling a gun in your house kind of thing or it's supposed to be but in this case came out a while ago this is something you put on Twitter

every film TV set that uses gun fake or otherwise should have a police officer onet High by production to specifically monitor weapon safety that's what police is job no and in fact they are supposed to have someone the armorer like that already is the process you just didn't do it you took shortcuts and actually the armor is are almost always ex police officers ex-military yeah they know what they're doing yeah they're experts because they know the actors aren't right so they have to take away all of that gray area and then because then then you look at someone like K Reeves who clearly becomes an expert yeah so like should that be a requirement maybe maybe no if he even if he does become an expert it shouldn't change all the

checks that go through just because he knows what he's doing it should still just be a no we hand it to you when you're ready otherwise you go down this sort of rabbit hole where it starts to become LAX again yeah oh yeah it'll be fine understand and maybe I just don't understand the mechanics of guns but I don't understand why it has to be a real firing ual gun well no they call it a prop gun well they say now cuz that's come up too where like the rock said he's only going to use rubber ones in his movies and then other people have come out and said ah it's not going to look real though and it's like I don't know man it doesn't look real when anyone in a mov can't you use a a metal gun but just not have a hole in the barrel but I think what they no it's the

firing of the trigger and like The Recoil and the The Flash and the that all together really good guy always but in a lot of movies they train to shoot in a [ __ ] unnatural manner anyway like like K Reeves Guns aren't guns in movies aren't like in real life for sure like the way K Reeves shoots guns in John Wick is not how a normal human would do that right he's trained specific to as possible yeah anyway I don't know a goddamn thing about guns so I like shooting guns I've never fir G in my life so I should probably I have a few times I was awful at it I was [ __ ] awful yeah yeah I just assumed I'd be great at it and I wasn't I was good at it especially with a rifle I could be a sniper not with that [ __ ] pink hair you

he's a nice guy and he's innocent so like no no he hired people to kill me I'm not the bad person here yeah I do think it's odd that they made him so sympathetic like seemingly successfully people are like but they're more a they didn't at the same time they show video of him like shooting pictures of her and saying threats yeah he's a [ __ ] psycho right but they made him too sympathetic so now they need to clean up their mess for the second season well even one weird things I found out he was like a police chief at one stage was he really he was like the youngest police police chief and yeah he's had a strange life even before gayest police chief he was 18 and police chief got engaged said we wanted
