Jenna had to move away a oh that's so sweet that's when I stopped celebrating cuz you left and there goes my Halloween party yeah I us to love them they were good F especially the Jilly shots [ __ ] it Luke next year Halloween party halfway between your house and mine what's that gong down on the beach I thought you meant yours and mine and I was like yeah in the ocean let's meet up in Hawaii for Halloween then you AOW at all we could meet up in Hawaii I'm sure there's spooky stuff there I'd love to meet up in Hawaii and actually we can we can leave the country and come back now theoretically yeah I saw that which means I I could also come visit in theory mhm in theory yes for me wait until next year a good 6 months from now yeah I

think I would still need a newborn baby so I don't know if a Hawaii trip is in my yeah near future babies on planes I don't know man I saw that movie with Samuel L Jackson yeah why are there so many [ __ ] babies this [ __ ] plan yeah I never saw that but I heard it did not do well Snakes on a Plane Snakes on a Plane it was um strange entertaining yeah I thought I thought it did very well didn't it okay haven't seen it cuz I know that the one thing that second I heard it people sort of campaign to get that line in the movie yeah oh I believe that's true yeah I believe that is true and I I have a feeling it probably gave the movie a sort of a different tone than what it originally had as well oh I

don't know about that I think it was always ridiculous this one of the this is one of the plot points is there's a kid on the plane with his PSP playing some flight simulator and then at the towards the end of the movie The Pilot gets taken out by a snake and they're like we need someone to land the plane and this kid's like oh I I can do that I've been doing it this whole time on my PlayStation hey hey I I reckon I would be able to land a plane for my experiences with flight simulator all right if I had to I'd step up well we've all seen the last star fighter we know how this goes I've flown a plane but it was already in the air and I did that counts that totally counts I just Steed it around I don't know because the middle part's not the the sort of most

important part it's the start and the end of flying a plane that's the most important yeah but now now going to go away Matt's going to do that and then you're going to be like yeah but have you done like an emergency landing in a field no even if I had forced caused us to plummet to our deaths it would be the end that was that was the the problem the important plummeting I love you started saying forced before you corrected yourself and said caused like somehow you would do it on purpose yeah that's just because it's very early and I am I'm a little bit hung over so you're thinking about who you would kill and how yeah obviously so we're allowed to go to movies again in Australia I haven't gone yet cuz I thought there'd be a bit of a

mad rush I've got my tickets for James Bond I've got my I'm going to go see sheni this week nice I've got to wait two weeks for Jimmy B I'm not sure I'll go to the movies again now that I've seen Dune well what about Dune 2 well I'll probably I mean Dune the fin finale the second part don't say finale he come out and says he's going to do june Messiah straight after that yeah so I don't know about that he says he says I don't like using the phrase trilogy but uh I will be making a trilog three movies coming at yeah yeah absolutely well English is a second language you know yeah yeah yeah I'll I'll believe it when they start filming cuz just because they green lit means nothing no they're going to start they're going to start June is the

number one box office movie despite being on streaming and one of the most pirated movies of this year I am how long ago was Robotech the liveaction movie greenlighted and I'm still waiting yeah but I no offense Luke but I I I've heard more people talking about Dune like recently than I've heard talking about Robotech and and way more people talking about Dune than I ever expected and I think maybe that's your fault I think you you tried to convince Dan and I that no one cares about Dune except you two not true apparently no everyone loves Dune now I I I still I'm a little shocked I went to an outdoor screening of it at some friends and the they had a bunch of people and then normally they invite a bunch of people and only a handful show up this time

quite a lot of people showed up and and though it was a mix of of personalities let's say and there were some people there who were just like I just heard this film's really good so yeah right there you go how was it received well yeah yeah yeah mhm I believe so I understand that the the one of the people whose house that was streaming at uh yes watches the original June once a year and it's one of their favorite films is that true I did actually did not know that but yeah okay well mared have got two movies to watch once a year now yeah June and other yeah well it it held up on the uh the second viewing I'm sure it did I'm dying to see it again well I will go see

it on the 2nd of December God that's so far away it's really not it's like a month away I have spoiled it by then you can spoil it now must flow desert in it flow yeah must it must fear is the mind killer I let my dog in I don't remember that scene in the movie I'm just looking forward to that first scene where he opens the door and walks up and he's got his back to him and and he goes oh I'm just going to let my dog in yeah my dog Duncan Idaho all right that's dunan Idaho so he's saying

he wants to do three movies now yeah is it three more Jason as himself he's Jason Mamoa is actually good in it everybody's good in it he is good but you know what I like most about Jason Mamoa is he is so out of shape like he sure like and evidently he said to Denise before they start he's like do I need abs for this and he's like no and so he's like well I'm not going to I'm not going to train yeah you're going to be covered by this suit the whole time basically but you can tell around the face area that he's not in good shape and he shaves the beard off like at the start of the movie he's got his trademark beard then he shaves it off and it's like oh man you wow dad B I thought if you got a body sort of up there you sort of had to keep it there

otherwise it just goes no have you not seen those photos of Vin Diesel in the off seon that's what I mean like it's very quickly goes to just fat and if you don't get another job that's going to pay for you to get fitting I know there's people like the rock who take it very seriously and don't don't ever go out his eye in palace with him everywhere MH um I had saw an interview with Tom Hardy this week too where somebody asked him how how he's was so muscular in films and his answer was it's all fat and trickery it's also when you're preparing for those films and for a movie you have your dietician that prepares all your meals you have your personal training that you just spend all day with and mhm yeah basically not get you get to

have no fun for about six months leading up to you're starting to film yeah depending on how out of shape you are so for me it'll be about a year and a half oh Chris Hemsworth is another one who keeps keeps the keeps in shape not everybody does I don't know how oh what's his name Wolverine huge Amman how he would go from Wolverine back down then back up that was yeah and he's got big at every movie I saw him perform as gasted on in the uh the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast many years ago um and evidently he that was the first time he had to really bulk up for a role H so he could lift up a chair of people yeah well Denise said that the uh so Dune part two is set for fall electric Baloo fall

2023 and in his words is a blessing and a burden because now he's got to get the [ __ ] movie done and they can't start shooting till next year so he's basically going to have one year to make the move right that is a quick turnaround yeah but I mean part two of June is just all out in the desert so you know he really just only has to go to one location also it's not like you're running scripts from scratch or anything you've got a lot of it done for you also I've seen I I refuse to believe that a lot of those flashforward dream sequences he filmed are only the shots we've seen you know what I mean like he's gone out there he's got the car I see yeah right I think he might have filmed some scenes already that he in

his back pocket yeah I suspect so I suspect so cuz it's easier to do that now because it's all digital it's not like back in the day where it's on film when it's sort of like we yeah stop no bloopers cuz we don't have the film for you to [ __ ] this up PR stop yeah y Matt you just said um this comes out in the fall um I was thinking the other day I know that the Americans um call Autumn Fall does that mean that you guys don't use the word or tumnal in any context I don't use the word all tble in any context uh you know what I don't know I've not heard anyone say that word but I mean that's the first time i' heard that word my life but like if you were you could describe your you know your winter wardrobe as or tumil like if you had a lot of kind of burnt oranges and

beiges or something somebody might say I think they would say fall colors here right four colors I think I don't think they would say or tumnal yeah I don't think anyone would say that except there all right settle down oh also no one would describe my wardrobe that way Dan just as a yeah yeah you don't have many four colors mostly black and although I do have a bunch of horror movie button-up shirts these days so maybe some of those are autumnal are you wearing a baby metal t-shirt right now maybe maybe yeah I am so there's another movie coming out later this year that I haven't really seen much about but evidently it's got the lowest rating on Rotten Tomatoes

it's out is it's not out in Australia no it's out mate I'll be honest lowest rating of a Marvel movie oh okay so it's not of all time mhm no but I mean that does that does include gems like Iron Man 3 and Ant-Man yes this is worse than them yes so this is eternals is apparently not not the best Marvel movie I mean that doesn't mean it's not going to be entertaining cuz the previous lowest scored Marvel movie was Thor the Dark World which I quite enjoy I love Thor the Dark World yeah that's say you you can't really take much from these cuz what they a lot of time when critics when they rate stuff is very different to what I like evidently the cast of Thor the Dark World weren't too keen on

it no I heard that Idis Elba said it was [ __ ] a nightmare oh yeah and yeah Chon yeah he hated it um look I see this in Australia this week it's going to be a tricky one to Market because it doesn't have uh you know it doesn't have an Iron Man or a Captain America but it's still got the Marvel Brand Chris Pratt I watched it it's got Angelina Jolie in it but I I watched the trailer I know that Angelina Jolie is a box office draw watch TRC and I don't know what it's about neither guardi with Guardians of the Galaxy which was like the first one which character not really heard of you sort of were familiar with like maybe Groot or Rocket Raccoon like not but not all the characters but you sort of had a bit of an idea Turtles I have

nothing I'll say this though Marvel don't do very good trailers there's several Marvel films that I've begrudgingly gone to see only to go okay that was quite excellent right based on the trailer Guardians I didn't think was going to be good cuz I remember I I I saw it and then I was messaging you guys and I was like dude this movie is [ __ ] awesome yeah that's right we discuss like are we going to see it yeah and I remember Dave being like one second into that movie I was like this is the greatest movie I've ever seen yeah MH Dave didn't believe me he thought I was [ __ ] with you but from here on in like with the eternals uh they they're really going to be turning out the movies from now on cuz we've gone a long time without

much yeah well we've got shangi which I'm still very keen to see out now eternals this week Spider-Man December no the next Doctor Strange in May mhhm mhm mhm and then Thor love and thunder which I'm looking for to that July y then Wanda forever mhm November okay and then yeah the Marvels Amman of the WASP Mania Guardians volume 3 and then just Untitled Marvel movies now that's the one I'm really holding up for yeah I know I don't know why they've called it that but I am intrigued they should just release one called that oh they still make money yeah make millions don't even have a trailer just Untitled Marvel movie and see who shows

up that' be an interesting experiment yeah just just say put out the call any any cast members who are available if you want to show up and we do some improv yeah it's my thing I've been saying for a long time like marketing I think they need to take a risk maybe not so movies you do need to advertise that a lot more beforehand but I think with games they could GTA 6 they could honestly announce that today and go it's live tomorrow and still make the same amount of money yeah I mean I don't think they need to do that six months of paying for advertising is fairly unique though I think yeah and and I think with games like that they should I'd prefer that instead of that ads and it's coming you probably do that with the next Elder Scrolls too you could just have a post

that just says the and that be it Fallout 4 had a very short lead time right didn't it like they were like he's a trailer Fallout 4 by the way it's coming out I think it was still like 6 months but it was still it still six months these are all games that I don't believe there are new audiences for necessarily you know what I mean like they're they're marketing to people who love these franchises well also the other thing is you drop a game like that and it goes out today or you goes live tomorrow people that your advertising is going to come from the people who just went out and brought the game while they start streaming it and everyone starts watching it and people go oh [ __ ] this is out start buying it and then it's there yeah speaking of games I haven't

played many games uh this week at all any really um last time we checked in uh I think it was just you and I Luke and we were talking about how I had started playing and was really enjoying Alan Wake remastered um and stopped playing that because um I suddenly remembered that it's actually incredibly boring and very very tedious that's that's what I was worried about because that's that was I and advice for you how to play the game M cuz it can the the finding can get bit a bit yeah yeah whatever it's the exploring and the reading and the watching listen watch that's allent throw the difficulty down to the lowest setting so you basically don't have to worry about fighting you get you kill and then you can take you more time

to do that exploring and that's where the game's fun Luke just said that the reading in Allan Wake was more enjoyable than the game it's like the combat I just want it is though it is the combat is completely unsatisfying when but when Luke enjoys reading more than your game even though it's the reading takes place in your game you know you've got a gameplay problem I think yeah you know that your combat is I was explaining how you both will like it for me I'm playing on normal I still like the fighting as well but I'm trying to get you guys to play it as well missing out on a great story he was doing role play the story the story really is it really is great and also you play as a guy our age who's struggling to write a novel and instead of collecting powerups you collect cups

of coffee it's just yeah but look trust me when you're short on time stop trying to challenge yourself with the difficulty of the game drop it down and just have fun yeah yeah Dan you he means you yeah yeah I think you should just play the game on easy what yeah Danny maybe you should uh yeah just drop it down to can I play daddy have you considered signing up for the kids League I told you both do the same for Star Wars to fall in order and when you did it became a better I do want to go back to that I played that on what's the maximum difficulty in that one I think uh Jedi Master yeah yeah uh not that one I played it on the I played on story yeah me too and it was still difficult in some parts it was still difficult no that that game was trying

to be a bit like Dark Souls yeah which I don't like Dark Souls but playing that just as a a game was fun it was less like Dark Souls if you played it on easy yeah but still it wasn't there were quite a few times where I die over and over and over trying to doing the same thing yeah level up yeah look I I was reluctant to mention Star Wars but seeing as y all have brought it up there is some Star Wars news Star Wars news and like I guess we just should apologize to Nate straight off the off the mark you know we're going to be talking about Star Wars so sorry about that um Nate likes how Star Wars I think it's listen to Chris oh oh it's Chris who's sick of Star Wars well [ __ ] sorry well sorry you know that's part of the podcast well I was going to say we're

making assumptions they could all be [ __ ] sick of Star Wars right now who know no somebody rode in somebody took the time to right in and sayra Craig oh it was cra cra it was Craig please listen to Craig sorry sorry in five minutes um there's some news but before we get into the news I I just want to say I've been watching some prequel apology videos online this week because I just can't let it go I'm determined to not hate the prequels it's been years I I just and I I don't know I've tried to watch episode one a few times and same I can't all of them they're all awful but here's the thing right throwing up at five I watched I watched a couple of video right MH by people who really like them and people who find a lot of good

stuff in them and I wish I could watch it through their eyes and there was there was one point that that I found very valid that I hadn't really thought of before and it was the point was if if you're if you dislike the prequels because they don't match up to what you thought they were going to be because you watched four five and six first then you're in actually a very very small minority now of people who have watched these movies out of order and most people will watch them 1 through n and and certainly going into the future now that they're all done there's no reason for anyone who starts to not watch them in order so it's little things like we go oh Darth Vader made c3p did he that makes no sense whereas if you watch that you just watch

a boy make a Droid then years later encounter that Droid again you're like [ __ ] that's the same Droid that he made like and that's interesting it's not a weird and and backwards incidence and if you are watching it you don't really know about like Darth Vader and that turn and exactly so all of I see it yeah so I wanted to go back and and and and watch some of these but I just I didn't want to see [ __ ] Dooku riding in on his bike and I didn't want to see [ __ ] anak talking about sand and yeah all of that so 12-year-old hitting on someone older 9-year-old hitting on girl and yeah I think she was meant to be 14 or 15 she was also the voted in Queen of a planet and then a 9-year-old was hitting on her and she was into it but also just

he didn't know that are you an angel so anyway so I I researched what the best fan edit was of all three down to one single film right found one and gave it a watch um started with the killing of as a kind of cold open and then went into just the politics of episodes two and three kind of strung together and it is interesting because when you think about the Jedi as we know them and the way that they were described and the the Republic and then you realize that actually the the Jedi were instrumental in bringing about the Empire you know right up until Order 66 where it all went horribly and they they realized they've been betrayed meant to say Order

66 Order 66 yeah I'm fine with that now for some reason that didn't bother me as much what still bothers me is when he just starts going I don't know why he says it like that one thing that I still cannot understand is Anakin goes crazy when he finds out his mom's been killed by the sand people like a week ago he's only gone back to see check on her in for years husband for the first time he wasn't able to he was a he was a I've seen stuff he's been he was having adventures with Obi-Wan they were traveling around they couldn't call in to check on his mom forg ring her on the

phone yeah but I uh I also one of these video essays was was tipping me off to some stuff that was happening in the Clone Wars that I was thinking oh yeah there's some cool mythology in there like they explain the reason why I tried to watch it again can do a false ghost voice but no body and others can do the body and it's because he started training with these these Jedi priests um didn't finish the training and then Yoda went and learned and taught Obi-Wan and that's why only certain ones can do it and I was like [ __ ] I've got to watch this so he only learned to to make his voice appear yeah yeah that was like step one speak [Laughter] okay um so I'm going to I'm going to

force myself make body show up yeah I'm going to force myself and I started today I I watched um I think I think it's like a featurelength episode to begin with and I've watched that oh yeah and it was it was it was a lot better than I remember it being so I'm going to probably uh yeah because there's a lot of I think it does get better further down the line but also there's a character ahsokatano a something Ahsoka yeah who is in this episode I I know she becomes an adult later I because I've seen Clips but she's a little girl in the in the episode that I watched today but doesn't she become Obi-Wan's love interest later no no who's think so no is that I

just get that wrong I I don't believe I don't know if obone having a love he does hold on think no because she's a kid and she was Anin Apprentice oh no it's someone called Satine apparently I think I just assumed they was the same person when I was just watching Clips you just like that little CGI girl's bit hot it's quite cute that so you're uh you're enjoying it well you've only watched the film see that's I watched the movie and I was like yeah it's all right and then I even though stinky was [ __ ] annoying yes the fact that they call him stinky annoys me yeah cuz it just proves that I'm not the target audience for this show yeah it was the first couple of episodes of the show that really put

me off so I'm interested to see if you can get through yeah well the first time I gave it a try I started at the show and skipped the movie um and didn't like it and stopped so maybe I first episode of the show's got Yoda on some planet honestly think this is a show you can probably watch while doing something else I don't think you need to pay full attention most they give that recap like at the start of each episode like it's because they made it's designed at kids it's designed that you can miss episodes maybe I'll just watch the Recaps I'll just skip from recap to recap yeah maybe yeah you probably could but yeah I think it's because it's time for kids and so in case they don't miss an episode or anything cuz remember

back when this first came out there you watch it on television if you miss it you've missed it there's no I'll stream it so they have that recap and the episodes are sort of their own thing with an overarching story that does happen in the background but this each episode sort of tidies up that situation like that planet that they're helping these aliens and stuff but so it's also with the liveaction and Ahsoka so she's also coming back this is where you might have got confused as well Ahsoka is coming back for the Obi-Wan television show oh right oh she's in the Obi-Wan show but she's just not oh no no sorry sorry yeah she's got her own show but I think she was going to make an appearance in Obi-Wan's as

well and then she's and then christensen's going to make an appearance in both Obi-Wan and aoker yes so Darth Vader will be in both of them presumably cuz I don't know why the hell else Hayden Christensen would be in them so yeah he will be I guess also they must he Darth Vader must just have his helmet off sometimes there's no way they're going to hire Hayden Christensen to just be a body dou yeah I don't know what's he up to lately yeah yeah but even you know like why he don't need to it could be anybody cuz he doesn't even do the voice yeah it could be literally anybody in that suit well he does love the suit cuz he made a point of being put into the suit for filming they're not obliged to hire him just because he loves the suit put you know

Hayden loves that suit so yeah they probably he might still have the suit at his house yeah they might have the scenes where he goes into his meditation chamber and The Mask comes off I think you'll see him just wandering around without his helmet on way more than we ever thought Darth Vader ever did that's what I garbage yeah all right well we find out out soon but I don't care the next television styles show to come out is Obi not Obi-Wan is Boba Fett and bring that on yeah I'm down I'm down and there must be another Mando coming at some stage yeah I think they I thought they were I think originally both were sort of going to come out this year I think end of next year for the next season am

Mando end of next year brutal but I don't know is it going to be as good without baby Yoda I I was sick of baby Yoda by the end of the first season I I'll say thought I was looking forward to the second season being about something else I I still think baby y Fox 50y old man say his name Luke it's baby Yoda no gr Gru is a 50-year-old man walking around drinking coffee Matt if I if I was filon cuz we don't know what species Yoda is if I was filon I would write it in that he is aoda and that that is not his name that is his species and so grou is a baby Yoda I reckon there is something in the contract that they are not allowed to

name that species for some reason yeah almost certainly cuz George was yeah cuz all the other aliens even back in the day they all had their species not in the films though it was all just in the books and the and the action figures but even back in like the 7s and ' 80s people knew what some of these true they never say Ewok they might have seen Caravan of Ewoks Caravan of Courage that came out later there's a book at the penth city library that was like a Encyclopedia of yes Star Wars stuff just every character and every sh like literally like a like a you know yeah just look up the person and it would sometimes have a little picture and then it would yeah told you all can't remember what the book was C I think anytime you didn't have that I had

that from that exact Library all right that concludes this week's Star Wars talk well I watched something else based on the recommended recommend them recommendation of both of you g recommend yeah so yesterday evening I decided to pop on only murders in the building and uh between last night and this morning I watched the first five episodes Absolutely loving this sick so good the writing is amazing yeah it's really good yep it's good the the it's a it's funny and clever and and also it's got a good mystery it's yeah well done no spoilers please I'm only halfway and uh I'll watch the rest before we can chat about it next week but yeah I just love the fact I'll go down One path that's definitely this and then there's a Twist oh no this person knew that

person or yeah just love it looking for I'm hoping they make the sequel well the season two all right settle down settle down just saying that as a spoiler settle down it's settle down it's not it's not see saying that it's not is a spoiler it ends in a way that could be season it could not be saying the same thing I said last week you had seen it then Luke does this cuz he doesn't care about spoilers yeah they don't change people's enjoyment also I'm reminded of the time that I misheard what Luke said and got annoyed with him cuz I thought he I thought he was dropping spoilers but actually yeah you heard the word merged as the word murdered and then I was like it was on [ __ ] C I was so

confused about the opening of the game mhm look it's very early in the morning here when we do this I'm I'm drinking caffeine that doesn't help me oh what are you drinking uh I'm drinking a Coke from a Hungry Jacks oh did you have Burger King mhm although we also have Burger King here so I'm I'm never quite sure no we don't have Burger King here anymore yeah we do there's a Burger King in mcari Center I thought that was a big lawsuit they couldn't come out they had to close them all up I remember well the reason that when Burger King tried to move into Australia some guy already had a company called Burger King oh my God it is a Hungry Jack now

yeah yeah right yeah it used to be that there was some guy who held the copyright in Australia so they had to call him Hungry Jacks and then I think it laps and then they were like all right well now we have Burger King as well and I and then I think that went to court and then that went no Burger King you go away so Burger King is Hungry Jacks again all right yeah I guess Jack remember we had that one Taco Bell I was talking to someone about this the other day oh yeah that one want to go to a Taco Bell seeing shows been watching there one like there one like up the road for me you sick you'll you will be sick you that's fine it's not F sometimes you just want it's like when I feel like KFC and I know I'm going to eat chicken and I know I'm going to be

sick but sometimes you just feel like it I wanted to go to Taco Bell as well and Jenna was like all right so we went and I we walked in and this woman was filling up the the meat vat with this meat stuff from a plastic bag just pouring it in there that's what and that's what they make the taco and I was like I've made a terrible mistake I don't want to eat this you know what I I I think I already ordered because otherwise I probably wouldn't have I but the thing is I think their meat is probably better than their salads it could be you probably more likely to get sick from their salads than their meat I mean I'm not sure that's feasible is it gross it's still just dis I'm disgusting stick from from like fruit and salads

cuz they do go off and because people don't think that they go off if they let them stand for a lot longer then they do meat meat they're a bit faster with fast Meats meat propaganda to me as soon as I get there no I probably won't go to T I want to go but I don't because it gets stuck in the beard just go to uh White Castle get yourself I love White Castle get yourself some Spiel Burgers those those miniature Burgers I haven't been to a White Castle but I've got the ones of Frozen that you you just throw the microwave nice they were great my next door neighbors growing up used to go to McDonald and buy bulk cheeseburgers come home pop them in the freezer eat them whenever they

wanted yeah genius yeah um my favorite is Arby though I love Arby that's my favorite American fast food I've only been to Arby once and I you like the sandwiches don't they like French what are they called where you you dip a sandwich in in like a c of oil yeah [ __ ] they're so good just bread dipped inil there's one in my work it's sandwich sort of sandwich in qu American style sandwich it's called caprotti and they do like uh Philly cheese steak sandwiches that's sandwi yeah yeah yeah and uh The Impossible meat so I get those oh okay yeah yeah until I I get quite often and I looked at the nutritional information at how much [ __ ] sodium is in them because of

that make it taste like meat right yeah exactly and I was like and they put so much of it on there like I wouldn't normally eat that much of it like the the the fake meat like and you know they're cooking it on the same Grill did you guys come to when I dragged you when I insisted on going to the Arby in New York City cuz I'd been to the one in in Salt Lake I think I was there for that I like how I think Luke were you about to insist that because they cook it on the same piece of metal as they cooked the real meat that I should just eat real meat is that what you no no no I'm saying that that's where probably some of the taste also comes from from the juicers of the actual meat okay yeah no I'm not saying that there definitely only reason I'm

not vegetarian is I'm too lazy there's definitely veos that wouldn't eat impossible meat if it was cooked on the same Grill as no that's true a regular steak for sure but I feel like that's not make used make big deal about it they used to make a big deal out of it hungry Jackson sh when they first that your veggie will be cooked on a separate plate and then having a separate plate for the amount of that they selling just was not cost effective and so they just they didn't announce they were stopping it they just went quiet about it speaking of um not being able to cost things I read an article today about um you know Citron and I'm sure I'm mispronouncing that but the French car yeah so they um

they paid in the 60s at one point some huge amount of money to put their logo just the word Citron in lights on the Eiffel Tower and um the company went bankrupt because of the electricity bill for that publicity stunt and years later they they came back but there was a time where there was no Citron because they' gone bankrupt because of that just from paying to display that on the tower that's [ __ ] wow cuz I guess they thought okay here I'm paying for the for the advertising space and then like at the end of the month they got given the electricity bill and they were like oh someone didn't read the contract completely yeah and you want us to do what with this figure just to tie two previous topics

together Burger King and and the uh and the Veo stuff there was that lawsuit I think we talked about this on the show where the guy sued Burger King because he bought he he ordered a impossible Whopper but then he found out that they just put it through the broiler with the with the other meat there was like a about and then I think I don't think he won because they're like well we're not we never said it was vegan we just said it's aible it's a pl-based part cuz they're like the goal is not to cater to to vegan people it's just to reduce meat consumption doesn't really matter if it gets in we don't know this you that's interesting yeah I'm sure he had an argument because there was a certain impation when you get an impossible burger that you're eating something vegan but but then

again if you're a vegan and you don't see that little V on a leaf next to what you're ordering then ask and even if you do I wouldn't I I honestly I think if you're that concerned about it don't yeah don't definitely don't go to Burger King and maybe don't even eat out cuz like stuff are not going to be that careful you just have to accept if also if you're that concerned you'd think you'd ask at the time of ordering like just to make clear like this is going to be cooked separately to that and then then then you can watch him roll their eyes and go yeah oh I definitely will yeah yeah I'm just going to go back there now and move it to its own little station just for you what else is we got some follow up followup Yeah couple

follow a lot of followup couple couple of follows up Alec Baldwin's Hiding Out near my Vermont house he's been spotted in Manchester which is which is the little town I'd be in if I was up there so yeah right he was at a Denny's or something was he he was at a Starbucks and then he went Starbucks one of the well he yeah he went to Starbucks and then and because we were talking about it Jen was like Starbucks is not the best coffee in Manchester and I was like yeah but it's the coffee where he can order on his phone and not have to talk to anyone which I bet is what he's after at this point yeah and then they closed off a bar for him and his wife apparently to I assume he paid for the bar to be closed so that he could just go in and

get have a couple drinks a couple alcoholic they point out [ __ ] cuz they're harassing him about it oh and then uh is he still a Buddhist maybe that's why he doesn't drink I don't know he was a Buddhist he hasn't he hasn't run away from the shooting he he didn't have to like stay Mex don't think he needs to run away from it does he no no but I say like he wasn't required to stay in Mexico Mexico like yes he's been cooperating and we didn't say had to stay we're still in contact me seen invations I've seen some mixed opinions on this but I I don't think he's at fault to like I know people are saying oh that's the you know the rules of gun handling is you got to check and that kind stff yeah but he's on a movie set it's not it's not I think a lot of

people contributed to the fault and and he is not any more at fault than anyone else and certainly less if you're an actor on a movie set and someone hands you a gun as part of and says's Bulls this think you're not should not be expected to Che it yourself like cuz you you're doing your job even if you do how are you going to know the difference yeah well that's true like if somebody comes in hand I think yeah that's what people are saying though I think they're saying well he it's he should take the initiative and he should know well it may not matter anymore because a lot of a lot of production companies have already saying we're not going to use we're going to use prop guns gun we're to use aoft no I think that's the thing

they need to stop they're not prop guns they are guns they put prop ammo in huge difference but also I believe fight a bullet at someone yeah well correct me if I've got this wrong but it wasn't a blank I think it's it's they now know for sure think it was a real bull real lead bullet yeah real gun shooting real bullet they deny where the bullet came from yeah there's this statement come from the the armorer who I think most likely the responsibility is going to land with the armor whether they can talk their way out of it or she yeah um she's come out and said this kind of weird contradictory statement where basically it's not my fault don't blame me everyone was [ __ ] around uh I didn't you know I

was doing two jobs I didn't have time but then also it says she checked the guns and there were no bullets in there so she doesn't know where the bullet came from well there was a bullet in there so yeah but she also said no one had that gun other than her and it was locked away and yet there's other people going no the crew took the gun out and we're doing target practice during lunch yeah I know but but she's saying there was no bullet in there I had it locked up and then when I handed it to him there was no bullet in there and it was like so you saying that Alex Baldwin put a bullet in there put a bullet in there to murder the [ __ ] what are you saying I know cuz I mean the it is the armor is responsibility like almost entire if they were doing

that target practice then and that was allowed then that that's probably that bullet should probably just been left in there for that but that should never have been allowed yeah I it's got to be negligence that yeah they were shooting the guns with real bullets to [ __ ] around in between takes and then somebody just put the gun back with the bullet in it and then nobody checked that's just the most likely scenario and I can understand why denying that ites make any sense to deny it bu in there yeah yeah because actually the best thing to do I don't know about the best thing to do but like you're responsible so don't come out and say it's not your fault come out at least and go as the armorer I take responsibility for this here are the facts and here is why this

here are the reasons this could happen and we don't know why it did because there were a few other contributing factors but don't just come back and go no definitely wasn't me I checked must have been say there wasn't a bullet in there there [ __ ] was someone's dead like you can't just say n there was no bullet in there I checked okay mate or Madam I just still just Why was there live ammo on that set anywhere that's the biggest problem is that like well because everyone was just [ __ ] around this is different to the uh INX BR Lee one cuz br it wasn't a live round it was just a fake one that had too much material in it and so it did actually penetrate

break off whereas this is very very different mhm yeah when she said she was doing two jobs what did she mean like she was [ __ ] making the sandwiches at the same time or I think no they were related but her I have to check she hang on let me click through the i in the same article I couldn't find oh it doesn't say specifically yeah it does say yeah she said she was hired for two position movie which made her ill prepared to do either job properly why AG have to that's why you have to go sorry this job's to a point or this I cannot do this on my own yeah like it's two jobs I feel like the and if that is the case that's your excuse like say that say I didn't check to see if there was a bullet in because I was being [ __ ] rushed by whatever you know what I mean

like I mean this this came from her legal team so I can totally and also I can see why she wouldn't want to say that say oh I I don't have those bullet in there I didn't check cuz job to check she can't just say oh no but um I want that job it's like a weird contradictory statement that like you could tell the the like the it's written by the law legal team and they were just like I guess just deny everything but doesn't make sense just do it anyway just deny everything even deny the stuff you've already said yeah that's right yeah in the same statement if you said something earlier in the statement deny it later yeah just deny it cuz at the end of the day yeah someone haded in the gun and said call Gun have fun but you can get prop guns and I mean that prop guns

that aren't real guns that still have muzzle flashes and little bits of smoke coming out of them that are made specifically to be props yes and they can't there's no reason why you couldn't do that other than they cost a bit more they cost a bit more also it does quite look as real cuz it's no but with bloody special effects now you could just add a little bit of something on there but yeah I just I just so but just that one word that just keeps annoying me in every every article people calling it a prop gun if it was a prop gun would not have shot anyone but the thing is when you say it doesn't look real the way that actors fire them doesn't look real anyway like re shooting a gun doesn't look like a normal person shooting a gun

he's trained for hours and hours to like keep his eyes open and not you know Flinch and hold it steady like like it doesn't look real anyway yeah and if you go to a firing range and you watch somebody shoot a gun you won't see a big muzzle flash coming out every time somebody pulls the trigger no you're blinking when it happens I like that story about what's it Robert Patrick trained to not blink or Flinch when he fired the gun when he was a T1000 so that he would look inhuman and then when you looking at it now if you watch clips of it it's like oh yeah he's just [ __ ] staring at him as he's firing it's like very um unnerving well I remember um cuz we used to make little home movies when we were

teenagers and obviously we didn't have real guns it was just us with a [ __ ] water pistol going bang bang but then when you guys made that look gr well when you made the elexicon right and it was just on the cusp of being able to just comp in a muzzle flash I remember seeing that for the first time going [ __ ] that looked good good and that was a [ __ ] Sega satin like a giant blue gun with I had to run the cable up my sleeve you had to plug it into the the console yeah and and you found that convincing damn good yeah exactly exactly so what I'm saying is [ __ ] Alec Baldwin could have shot a [ __ ] Sega satin he could have run the cable up his [Laughter] arm yeah but the other thing is collect items now those guns yeah the this was a

revolver too because this is an old timey Weston right so you would have seen the bullets in there yeah like a lot of a lot of people are accidentally killed with pistols because they don't realize that once you've cocked it once there's a bullet in the chamber even if you take the clip out there's still bullet in the chamber it's not the case with a revolver mhm but you can see there's a [ __ ] bullet in there when you went to put the blank no no no but it shouldn't have been anywhere with blanks in it it should have been completely empty putting six blanks into it you don't put five blanks in already one in here oh there's already one in F the others yeah to me I'd be emping out whatever's in there loading in so I know for certain

when I I've just put the blanks in I'm walking over I hand it over I know clearly the pressure on this set was intense and that's what it I mean crew walking off she's doing two jobs whatever the other one was clearly there was someone was yelling no just [ __ ] do it now bring me the [ __ ] gun and yeah apparently deping on who that is they're saying the first ad was in trouble for being negligent so maybe that person or and then there was some other story about Nicholas Cage trying to get this armor fired off her last gig because she was she uh discharged a gun next to him and scared the [ __ ] out of him and he was like get this [ __ ] idiot off my set so yeah so it we'll wait for the investigation to we see what happens yes don't forget to subscribe to us to

witness saying you didn't hit someone well I guess if she I saw you not why he hit me on another day yeah that's what I mean though but if she it happened here at this time she's got specific times this is what happened and then there's a bunch of people who were like say he was at a party or something and other people were like that didn't happen or he's got like his airplane ticket going I wasn't in the country at that time it could be I mean we don't know the specific so it could be any of that kind of stuff but like if he's able to prove it then you know I guess I I think if you can prove a bunch of the things that she said aren't true then that doesn't look good for her cuz why would you lie about any of it speaking of something very similar I a video about tasus popped up

on my suggested videos the other day tcus or are you thinking of the hot sauce did what did I get it what did I say he said tascas oh which sounds yeah yeah um no tasus Toby Toby Toby Turner Toby Turner uh who just stopped doing his whole Channel multiple channels yeah when when an ex-girlfriend of his accused him of sexual assault and he made that video where he was in tears and he was saying you know I thought what we did was consensual and everything and I'm just going to [ __ ] off but did you know that he published another video last year um saying it was all basically what

Richard Stanley saying it was all lies I never dated her she's a [ __ ] [ __ ] she's just wants to get back at me yeah uh I don't remember the specifics but I did see that that happen and because then he start he kind of started doing comedy videos again I don't know where that ended up yeah right but he did he did I think maybe tried to get back into it but yeah that was all very confusing also to bring this full circle didn't he do a Burger King ad he may have he may have Toby Turner commercial I was about to say Ad but you call him commercial Dave met him at P yes I know cuz he met him while we were there and then sent us a picture from wherever he was yeah and it was Hot Pockets it was Hot Pockets he did the commercial for Hot Pockets

commercial yeah I don't know yeah this this kind of thing sucks it's all it's all tough cuz like I don't want to you know you know I don't want to I don't want true yeah you should never assume that someone's lying but then on the other hand like unfortunately it does happen so it's like well you have to look in this case someone is lying oh well yeah you're right as someone is yeah hopefully it's uh hopefully the truth I just don't know in this case I don't know why you would immediately when it first happens say Oh I thought what we did was consensual and then later say never even dated her like I mean it certainly sounds like he's lying unless I don't know unless he's got a PR team telling him what to say yeah well maybe some I mean they did

there's a great anecdote he tells on the Ty and that guy podcast which is that expanse sure they in it but there a lot of creatures in it so you're probably right well he he plays the some a blind character who's like with he's in the scene with my and Brando quite often like they're on set together and he said he was telling this just anecdote about how mil Brando just kept criticizing his performance and all and and having to go with him and he was really upset cuz he was like oh I really like mil and Brando and then one day and then Ron P had these contacts in so he actually couldn't see and he was play and then one day mil Brando goes to him your character blind and he and he's like yeah and he goes oh I
