he said he said something stupid yeah yeah would have gone down if was on that plane yeah it wouldn't have happened yeah we still have two twin towers and a pentagon all right to it um it says here that they will film the rest of it uh at some ranch uh without any firearms on set so the the rest half the movie just won't have any guns in it anymore yeah it'll be just him doing the with his finger it'll cut from the scene in the church to them being like well we've given up all that that's right you'll see him walk into a church and then there'll be a quick little little side plot where he has a conversation with a priest and he's like oh you probably shouldn't shoot anyone anymore he's like yeah yeah

you're right actually no I I actually I think it's going to be more not that they go down the path they is going to have like mobile phone holders that are shaped like gun handles and holsters your radios you know um Spielberg has come out and said that he regrets doing that yeah yeah yeah CU of course he does cuz that was a silly idea stupid thing to do wasn't that George getting the de a bit oh 100% 100% yeah must have been I want to ask you guys okay so as far as you know right so I'm trying to track down sorry guys this is a bit of Star Wars news it's not news but um I'm trying to track down some VHS copies of the the original Three right the original Star Wars Trilogy yes I've got the first remastered the blue ones the

remaster the okay so not that one cuz I believe that one's special edition right but there was one that was done in like 95 the widescreen version but that's still I have wi special edition right no that's those ones still had Chang I had I had something down something pretty don't know I even brought them to America with me I cannot find like the original puffy 80s cassettes you know like the the video versions I I can only find the earliest I can find is like the first like trilogy pack that you could get in the '90s yeah no you you want to go back to ' 80s to not have

want it'll want to make you call your dad no no no watch life is a house it stars um Hayden Christensen and Kevin Klein as a oh yeah a strange strange father and son forced to live together and it's just a beautiful mov and the performances are wonderful and it just goes to show that it's not his fault he can he can act when he needs to he just he just didn't it's a good he just didn't we don't talk about that over here that's called [Laughter] sweater I'll show myself out that's a different movie that's a different movie uh I don't think I've likeed sorry I've got some my jokes this week are going to be bad cuz all my writers are

going to be for the next couple of years that it's actually going to so some shows some shows have been delayed um like hang on I got a list here uh blade got put on hold the movie Blade Marvel's new one cuz they you know what's exciting about that is that the writer that they've hired to do that is Nick pelato who wrote True Detective and uh I'm 100% on board for for him being you know once they've sorted out their Union [ __ ] um he can he can write the blade movie 100% uh so okay so the Daily Show uh the talk which I guess is a some talk show um Real Time with Bill Mah Last Week Tonight with John Oliver Saturday Night Live uh they're all on have roers on that yeah Jimmy Kimmel um The Late Show all the all those shows are on strike on hold too worried about talk

shows no no no so okay so the hosts of those shows don't write any of their dialogue no they just great stuff yeah um Luke you you joked that are there writers on um Saturday live have you seen Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip do you that is so Aaron saen writer of West Wing and uh you know those hard hitting dramas wrote a show about the writers of Saturday Night Live and it's called Studio 60 on Sunset Strip and it's a fake Saturday Night Live called Studio 60 and uh it's pretty good it's like the kind of Snappy dialogue that you'd expect from Soren but uh in in that SNL environment he got uh Matthew Perry in the lead role as the lead writer okay worth watching only one season yeah watching I know that like in

the early times the writers you'd have the writers writing and then they'd make their way to being on screen and stuff and that's where like we had like Dan arroy CH Chase and all that sort of go from back to front and yeah so this is said in the '90s it doesn't kind of go back into that classic era but is it does kind of show that kind of star mentality but also executive producers putting their spin on everything and and yeah it's pretty interesting it's pretty interesting and talking about saen I watched on a whim this week I watched The Social Network which off the top of my head was written by saen right yes directed by Fincher written by Soren that's a [ __ ] great movie yeah I love and um that's the Facebook thing isn't

it yeah but it's it's so good like it's just it's it's [ __ ] tight like Fincher I think because he does popular movies never gets mentioned when people talk about like great directors he is [ __ ] Flawless like he's amazing he he doesn't make bad movies there's no fat you couldn't you couldn't say oh I like the movie but there was a couple of scenes that should be trimmed out no no they're perfect maybe maybe zodiac and maybe Panic Room it's been a while since I've seen that oh God I haven't seen that in ages yeah maybe but yeah zodiac I do think is maybe over long it's very long it's very long true the only thing I remember about the social network movie is they spent tens of thousands of dollars to put a sign CGI sign on a door

instead of just getting a sign to put on the door a lot of CGI in that movie yeah just for the sake of being just for the sake outside yeah yeah when they're talking he he and um Mark Zuckerberg and what's his name Garfield's character go outside to talk yeah and there's they're talking and it's cold cuz they're at Harvard and it's winter and then they realize yeah and so they're like oh there should be breath and so they just CGI in this breath yeah and it's really fullon breath too yeah there was like a whole video on how they did it ago visual effect shots than Jurassic Park yeah so funny that's why there was a talk this week about someone else was laughing about this I think it was on Twitter someone said cuz um what's his name Timothy

shalam said the so spoilers for The Dune part two trailer actually so I guess this is a bit of a segue uh he rides a worm in it which anyone who knows anything about Dune is not going to be surprised by but Timothy Shalom said that the timot shal um said that the worm was 100% practical what and as some VFX people on Twitter would laughing and saying nothing in a film is 100% to anymore it's a silly thing to say and people like people should just stop saying stupid [ __ ] like that I guess what he means is they built a big worm he's not he's not alone on a green screen but this guy was saying that there is 100% no doubt in his mind that in the shots of the of him riding the

worm there are digital elements like sure sure yeah yeah yeah but even if the body of the worm is real the sand around him probably isn't you know that's probably a partic effect they will yeah he said they they will 100% have done something to that shot that is that is digital to char May came out and said there was no visual effects artist working on this movie I think I think he I was riding a big puppet yeah yeah I literally rote a sand worm and I want everybody to know that they shrunk me down and I rode a regular siiz worm and they filmed it up close so when you watch it on the big screen it'll look like giant a normal was much closer to

the it was on the lens and I was standing up on a hill you joke but I think that's how they used to do it in the 50s when they used to have those like attack of the ants and stuff I think uh good [ __ ] I think there was a bit of that going on um that's a great trailer can't wait to see the film that should be coming out sooner should also be coming out soon yeah I've seen a bunch of stuff about the Practical stuff in that too that's the other thing people were poo pooing was Christopher Nolan saying it's all practical it's like I I detonated a real atomic bomb oh yeah no but I saw wink I guess I don't really know what I saw a still that looked like they were filming like almost like an art installation of a like they built all these

physical things that they were filming I don't I don't know if it was real or not maybe someone just had some [ __ ] AI generate generate me a picture of Christoph noan filming a nuclear explosion or something who know I don't know what I was looking know anymore yeah exactly but they they did say that was practical whatever the [ __ ] that means no but a practical effect I mean you they could have done the old ink in a fish tank to to get the sure the plumage of that and then put that on a rear projector in front of or behind San Murphy and then said that's a practical effect okay it is it's but it's not a real explosion yeah right yeah he's still alive they didn't say they really blew something up no no they were very careful not not V effect yeah inally

very vague about it yeah in fact um uh Nolan came out and said my finger was not on the trigger of that nuclear bomb unfortunately we discovered after the fact that that that nuclear weapon had been modified to allow you to [ __ ] the hammer on it yeah yeah it's because the um the crew was setting off nuclear weapons like just out in the field at lunchtime for funsies you can do whatever you want in Mexico yeah um so just before we move off thetis strike some TV shows that are not talk shows or reality shows that are delayed include Abbott Elementary I don't know what that is Netflix animated series big mouth don't know what that is yellow jackets which I've heard of that's actually not bad and Cobra Kai okay not Cobra Kai still going I tuned

out of that season one I felt like all the Nostalgia berries and then it it lost me as it became its own thing I've watched like I've seen bits of it like someone else was watching it characters okay so I should get back in okay like they just keep bringing back all the like even the two characters in that movie um Katey Kid 3 sorry there the ponytail guy yes okay that guy can I just say Karate Kid 3 is one of the worst movies ever made and after Kate Kid 1 and 2 which I still and not just because of nostalgia berries but it's they're still great films especially the first one like they're just classic movies and then that third one it's like that scene where the all the villains are in a spa laughing maniacally at their evil plans

it's like what is this what am I watching the third one where he has to plant the bonsai tree down on the Cliff face and all that [ __ ] yeah yeah yeah sort of the movies it went silly over the top but no I have been enjoying it and it is a shame cuz it's it's that it's being postponed because it's getting to it's I think it's coming up on its last season yeah how many seasons are there now I think there's five okay and yeah I know they're doing one last season and yellow jackets is good and I think yellow jackets with that what is Yellow Jacket I've seen posters It looks interesting but I don't know what it is it's following the story of people who were when they were younger they it was a plane crash and

they were sort of living off the Land There was a group of girls and then it keeps flashing back clothes have rotted off not like that but they a bit sort of like I think a lot of the F like they go bit feral but it's them in present day going through things in flashing back super sexy sounds like a very erotic taale yeah speaking of which this is my favorite headline of the week right Wes Anderson fans celebrate asteroid C let me start again West Anderson fans celebrate asteroid cities quote brief graphic nudity what what so you know West Anderson has made a sci-fi movie now asteroid city right it was rated R it was it's been given an R rating and you know how they give the little explanation for the rating mhm

Florida uh Disney I believe get like pretty Lear on tax there because I think all the theme parks do because if you think about a great source of income for the state you have people from all over the world go is the largest employer in Florida right so Florida gives them benefits correct because it's a quid proquo I think so yes and it's been there like since the beginning of them being there essentially it's probably why they chose Florida their lawsuit filed in the US District Court for the North District of Florida claims that DeSantis the governor overs saw a campaign to punish Walt Disney Company over its political views Des STIs allegedly orchestrated at every step to destroy Disney's footing in Florida where it is the state's largest employer

with a staff of over 75,000 but is Disney so woke I would have thought Disney pretty mild I mean what Disney do I I don't know that they're like they're not I I think it would be silly to think they do some of this stuff because they're super work and it's not just because they know it's good business like like some of the I you know things like The Little Mermaid thing like all that attention is obviously good business you know what I mean yeah yeah and like this too this you know like if you know the governor you know says what is it the don't say gay Bill and they were like well obviously we're not going to support that because that would our customers wouldn't like it if we did that so it's I don't know it's hard to say what shows the Disney say gay in to

crack uh he said a little board out the front with the prices on it and he parked it next to a police van and started selling drugs to people only ID required possession limit 2.5 g per drug per purchase per person he was arrested within 24 hours and the police said I mean we're both by the fal crisis too but this is not the solution um there is an argument that legalizing and selling it can actually improve I 100% agree with that it probably will y but I do think this I just think funny $250 for 22 gram of cocaine [ __ ] me even in American dollars that's a good deal I have no idea well in Australia it's about $300 for half a gram okay is that a lot I don't know it's less than this I it's more than this but I

oh who's Keith KGAN who the [ __ ] is Keith Gan so that's magnificent yeah right okay oh see Night Rider sits halfway between um Magnum and miam viice in that it it it pretends it's serious but also knows it's a bit silly so it probably holds up okay a talking car yeah yeah but there's no jokes in it they don't play it for laughs but they're also not trying to be hard hitting yeah no it's pretty goofy in Parts but there there's an episode of night rer right we're going to where yeah maybe in one of the first episode or or or very very early episode where

Michael toes another car with kit and it damages some [ __ ] his logic circuit or something for some reason they don't never explain any of this stuff it's all just wishy-washy but like what's her name the they don't go into the hard sign no no no but the and I forget what's the girl's name the girl who works in the car I've got forgotten already yeah yeah she says well the only way his logic circuit could have been damaged as if somebody tried something stupid like I don't know Towing another car and obviously it's [ __ ] insane and ridiculous that she would figure that out but then two episodes later they install like a grappling hook in and he uses it to pull like a a tractor out of like out of danger and in that

episode it was perfectly okay for him to anyway funny so doesn't take itself too seriously mhm amazing don't question the science behind they didn't even bother checking what they'd said previously obviously when they were writing that episode that's great well we can stick on some car news oh oh yeah I was surprised by I did not know this was happening um Neil Blum camps Gran Turismo and making Gran Turismo which I it's one of these weird things like how do you make a game that's just about driving a car into a movie well this is a true story so um gr Turismo is based on a true story this movie is based on a true

story uh of this kid who was a gamer who got into racing because he was very good at gr Turismo I guess H oh yeah that that this has happened where people have taken their sort of skills in called last star fighter no it's called it's called Gran Turismo by Neil Blum Camp yeah right yeah um yeah so there you go uh he um in 2011 he became the third and youngest winner of the GT Academy competition beating 9 ,000 entrance so the Grand Turismo game he was very good at it and he was rewarded with a drive foren at the Dubai 24-hour race and now he's a race driver okay good on it okay so that's what the movie's about sorry spoilers but it's sort of I can see how

they sort of it does actually align with the game a little bit more it's not theyve just taken the game then here a racing movie and we've just merged them together it's actually yeah it's it's interesting I guess in that sense Maybe really good I hope it's good well look I'll I'll watch anything Blom Camp does um he's not had all hits but they've at least all been interesting so I'm in for that other movies I wish that he would get to make I watched after I watched this trailer I watched some clips from chappie and it just reminded me how much I really liked that movie and it I didn't like chappie no I wish I did I I didn't I couldn't get into the tone of that movie I loved it there so but like he's meant to be doing another Al you meant to do an

alien movie what else was he meant to Do Not only was he meant to do an alien movie that's not happening but sigor Weaver is saying now she won't do another alien movie because she wanted to do that one and they pulled the plug on it so she's done she's done yeah right no I didn't watch the trailer for this actually um does it look all right it's got David haror in it does it yeah yeah yeah or is the dude's Dad no he's yeah L Bloom's in it no dve har is like the um like the the coach almost I guess for the it be it'll be a young guy who would be the driver I guess for niss he works for niss I guess in this H yeah so the kid is uh is the driver and then Orlando Bloom is the person who's in charge of getting a video game kid to drive a car because it's a scene in it

where Harbor is like are you [ __ ] insane yeah right awesome yeah this looks all right the skills can translate across they are also very different of course like yeah because the there's no just I'll just tap this car or slam that wall and it'll be fine yeah and and there's a I mean one of the things that I find a bit confusing about driving even with the with the VR thing on when I've been playing Gran Turismo with the VR thing on is that you don't feel any inertia yes like when you go around a corner I know that I'm doing a bit of a link cuz it is way more realistic with the headset on but it's not you don't feel any of that you know momentum or anything so it's yeah yeah not quite the same yeah that'll never be something you'll ever
