have been three weeks ago yeah right okay well I was in uh I was in Austin for a wedding Austin Texas yep yeah how was it um it was good it was nice yeah it a lot of fun cuz I hear Austin's like a little bit different to the rest of Texas yeah I've been Austin a couple times actually I haven't been much actually that's not entirely true I've driven all the way through Texas which didn't really stop anywhere else for a long period of time Austin's the only place I've spent a bunch of time in and it's yeah from what I understand it's not particularly texy yeah it's more like the creative area of Texas yeah it's just just like being anywhere else in America really well I mean there's more cowboy boots that's that is true did you buy any cowboy boots no no I

can't I don't think I could pull that off you just got a to commit it's all you got to do yeah to make something work just Commit This is a new style mat and Boots mattin boot I do I mean I have boots just not that kind of boot well next time you're in Austin I want photos all right Matt and Boots all right and a and a hat a 10 gallon hat 12 gallon hat I don't know how many gallons I'm supposed to have in my hat I don't understand gallons as a way of saying the size of a hat y that's fair I'm going to guess it's got something to do with putting water in it or something I don't but why would you do that I don't know yeah I don't I've never drunk from a hat either that I can recall maybe it's something to do with like cowboys and then having to get water for cows or something I

don't know yeah in the Hat I'm you know what I'm positive that's what it is that makes the most sense really it makes sense but yeah don't get your news from us no I did want to ask you about something though because you are our subject matter expert when it comes to conspiracy theories yes are you familar with um agenda 2030 agenda 2030 yeah no this is a new one it's not it's not even it's just this innocuous for me yeah so I only learned about this particular reason I'll get to agenda 2030 is this um un I think or United na yeah un is United Nations you dumb [ __ ] yeah un thing I'm pretty sure that's what it is um it's just about reaching like climate goals and sustainab ility goals and and that kind of stuff and apparently it's

been around since 2015 but okay people are now linking the pandemic to it and saying that yeah the pandemic was like a way to you know enforce it and there's like some big conspiracy behind it anyway the reason I found out about it is because there's a guy I follow on YouTube who's building a cabin in the Canadian wilderness right and I just usually he's just quiet and he's building so I didn't know I didn't know he was into weird [ __ ] but um more and more lately apparently he's got another Channel where he talks about why he's doing things and I'm like okay I'm I'm I don't want to follow that channel because I I like your content and I don't want to dislike it yeah I can see it's just quite nice just to watch someone building stuff and quietly

but then yeah I so he's he's he hasn't posted in two weeks which I guess I I mean neither have I but but but he didn't say he didn't say anything and so I was like oh God has he gotten sick and died or something cuz he's out in the middle of [ __ ] nowhere as far as I'm aware the government the government got to him well I don't know where he is but I checked his other channel to see and he's been posting these videos and he basically there was one he was talking about you know if you look at what's going on in the world with agenda 2030 and I was like the [ __ ] is agenda 2030 and then I looked and I was like oh it's nothing so anyway yeah so yeah I I understand because I think it used to be they used to have like the 2020 Summit and things like that it's all about yeah

just trying to make the world better type of thing but not by enforcing stuff like it's let's get rid of pollution and make sure people can eat but think he's he's very vague on his other channel too because under see I can't decide if it's a grift or not or I don't know if it's a grift or not he's very vague and they often are under the guise of I can't say too much or this Channel's going to get you know destroyed by the government or whatever and it's like is that really why you're being vague or do you just not know well I think it's more about you don't know because like it's not like if if there was some secret thing with agenda 2030 they're not going to tell people it's not very secret it's on Google it I I Googled it and I saw it and I was like

what is the problem with this it pops straight up it's yeah yeah and like and if you knew something then Le it I I just love like during the pandemic there were things people going around that this is all applyed to wipe out 90% of the population and all of this stuff and yeah and then we got through it all and 90% of the population's still here yeah didn't work out lucky us a lot of times the reason why they will be vague it's because um if they go into too many details cuz normally there's a lot of ranting with what's just in the head at the time if they go into too many details the next time they go down their rant it'll be but last time you said this yeah it all falls apart yeah yes cuz if you question any part of it yeah it's he was talking about how they were

controlling our movements during the pandemic and I mean I was like you mean when they asked you to stay home so you didn't infect everybody is that what you mean yeah like I don't I mean I guess that's a way you could spin anyway whatever I just wanted if you'd heard of it no no there the first one for that one but it's sort of yeah I can see how they take that and twist it into some deep dark thing that's going to I don't know what's the end goal I'd never understand why they think that people do if you read the PDF they've got up on CNN CNN on un.org that clearly outlines agenda 2030 I'm sure it's got the uh the devious plan bit at the end yep yep it's just in the small print they don't think people are going to read it exactly yeah but the the smart people they've read it

yep yep but they can't tell you about it no because the government's watching on YouTube and now give me money yeah yeah I don't know if he really believes it you know I guess good on him but um that's the other thing too is like this whole self-reliance thing I enjoy watching and build a cabin I'm not going to go do that I can't do that also not everybody can do that so the other thing is that like them talking about everyone needs to go do this not everybody can right it's literally impossible so like I've said this many times if there's a nuclear attack or zombies or anything I want to die in the first wave because I do not know how to farm but it's it's you could build shelter if everybody in the world said you know what [ __ ] it we're just going

to go live on acres of land there's not enough acres of land it's not possible to do that right stop encouraging other people to do it if you want to do it because otherwise you're going to run out of space but no I'm more just yeah I'm I'm not going to build a house it's not going to happen I mean I watch these videos how do you farm how do you get animals to have sex and breed more and when do you know when it's time to kill them and how do you kill them cuz listen to Craig also does um kind of bushcrafty building [ __ ] in the wilderness videos I haven't seen any yet where he talks about conspiracy stuff he talks about yahs and things a lot which I enjoy um well yahs are real well obviously quite different in that sense yeah but if you're listening Craig um I mean because

I think he also goes home you know when he's finished in the bush to a house like the rest of us he doesn't actually live out there all the time correct me if I'm wrong Craig but I just wondering Craig are you do you know what about agenda 2030 right in let us know is that is that why you're out building these shelters with the yahs or if we just lost their listener ah he knows I'm joking what else has been happening in the world some interesting stuff have you seen the PlayStation showcase I did I did I also saw that they announced a bunch of stuff and then Xbox cheekily posted just an image that was like 12 of those games will also be on Xbox at the same time what great marketing I know pretty funny but there's some I didn't realize some of these games were so close to

coming out like I knew they were working on an Assassin's Creed and an Alan Wake but October I thought the new Assassin's Creed was that multiplayer nonsense thing that no one was interested in apparently not um I I'm starting to remember I think that is their sort of their big main Pro I think this is sort of like smaller project cuz it's been a long time since we've had yeah thing and I think that that Assassin Creed as a live servers or whatever they're planning is I think this still a couple years away okay yeah see I don't know that I'm interested in that although I got to say um Mirage looks very good to me I think it looks cool people are saying it looks sey but actually I mean that landed for me because I'm literally right now playing Assassin's Creed Origins and

really enjoying it so yeah like I'm I mean the exact right position to be marketed to in that regard but it's all like Sam what do you expect it's an Assassin's Creed game yeah that's that's kind of what they are yeah yeah look the the the one that they might be working on if they still have the one that's alive so I think could be good if it's not something where you have to play multiplayer or anything but it's something that they release content for sort of regularly cuz I've been wanting to play Assassin's Creed but I've finished the others and I can't go back and play games yeah once I've got all the achievements I move on oh there was an article I saw before I've yet to put it in here let me grab it it's it this is going to annoy you oh this is scary

yeah I'm surprised you must have seen this this was on this is actually on true achievements website that I saw this how did I miss it I don't know let me put it in here I'm on their daily all right I'm putting it under games is this this one that I just saw exclusive new Xbox rule changes look to Target e Gamers score titles yes that's the call am actually okay with this okay I thought I wasn't sure how this was going to go yeah so this is this is they're changing the rules to prevent those games where you just play it for 5 minutes and unlock all the achievements like there was a game that was AB Labs or something that came out a little while ago all you did was turn the game on 15 minutes later without touching the

controller you had unlocked all the achievements it was just have the game there and I think that's where it started to come from that hey we're going to go back and start have a look at this guys come on yeah so that that's um I mean the rules I'm assuming are like more complicated than that but it's yeah okay all achievement hang on here we go you will fail certification if all achievements can be unlocked within a few minutes of starting the game achievements do not represent a thorough exploration or engagement with game content achievements can be unlocked without any or minimal user input MH unless required as part of the core game Loop so if a game fails to you know live up to any of those rules it

will not be approved which I I do like that because it is a little bit unfair cuz it does get to a point where people who have money are able to get like boost their gamer score or a lot of streamers and stuff who get free codes cuz I know a lot of these games they give out free codes to get people to to advertise basically so they're boosting their score and don't get me wrong I buy these games yeah I play these games because I want the gamer scad but I'm quite happy for them and and I've even said a few of these games where I probably would have played them longer like they weren't terrible games but you get all the achievements in the first five level and then I stop but yeah cuz that's what you're after that's what I'm after but if the game I would have

played the entire game if it was like get all the end yeah yeah yeah so all for it but I'm also going to miss them yeah well you'll have to put in a bit more effort but then here's the thing though right if you're using those to get achievements so are the people you're chasing so it just kind it's not going to really affect you in the end no no that's why it actually works out quite well because as long as the people ahead of you also can't do it then it doesn't really matter yes yeah exactly and yeah I like I do like achievements I like earning them as well I don't like the grinding ones that are sure spend the next 20 hours playing this game to unlock this I don't quite like that but I do like achievements and the next 20 hours is that really something that they

have no some games are you need to just um like Lego 2K drive that just came out one of them is to drive 6,000 miles okay so you will finish the entire game and not have unlocked that and then it's just going to be driving and driving and driving yeah right that type of stuff I don't go for but I I'll get the achievements to finish the game and that's the ones I want yeah I unlock him by accident we've talked about this before I got an Assassin's Creed Origins one the other day that was triathlete because I had run walked and swam some distance that unlocked it y that was an accident though without even knowing y yeah it just popped up while I was swimming out to I think Origins was the first Assassin's Creed game I ever completed 100% I'm loving it right to the point where

I'm not I know I used to say Odyssey was the best it's going to be pretty close odyssey's got more stuff going on but Origins so far has less going on you know like with game mechanics and you know like the the you know the mercenary system whatever it was where you you know you bumped up the ranks and you did all this other stuff it's more focused on the story so far to the point where even with Odyssey when you were hunting The Cult members like a lot of them didn't have any kind of story tied to them as such there were just people in the world that you had to kill whereas in in Origins so far all of them have had quite elaborate stories and like emotional kind of stuff tied to them and I'm like I'm just like I'm just really enjoying it like yeah it's like less

it's it's smaller right but I think that's for me that's better because it feels like it's more tied to the story and that's why I think Mirage it's Mirage is it I think you're going to like that cuz I have a feeling that's going to be smaller I don't think that's going to be the like Valla which was three huge maps and yeah and a lot going on we got the fishing and you've got like building up the village and all that stuff like Origins doesn't really have any of that stuff and I kind of like it not having it I'm focused on Vengeance oh I just checked I didn't finish Assassin's Creed Origins you li or the achievements I can go back and play it was Odyssey was the first one I finished yeah right [ __ ] odse feed a predator with a corpse Kill 30 enemies

by shooting of fire arrow at oil jars oh yeah complete all locations I can go back and play this I'm going to install that after this there you go to be fair some stuff has it's gotten more complicated as it's gone on like a little bit more complicated like I've got these like Bounty Hunters after me now in it but it doesn't seem like it's going to get as all over the place as Odyssey or Valhalla Hunters every every now and again you just got to stop deal with them get your sort of level back down and way yeah yeah I'm really other thing I [ __ ] beautiful game on the series X cuz it got the series X update yep oh man like riding around Egypt on my camel [ __ ] beautiful looking at the pyramids the only thing I didn't like is how you have to constantly be

changing weapons and armor to level up it does sort of get to a point where it stops a little bit but yeah and yeah sure at the sort of start you're constantly sort of getting the best yeah weapon but I know I've been spending money to um upgrade them to my level because some of them I keep I want to keep using some of them got pretty good Buffs and stuff so it's yeah oh and actually the one different the main thing I it's not a big deal you can't make arrows like in Odyssey and Valhalla you can make new arrows I'm pretty sure you can in Valhalla in this if you run out of arrows you don't have any arrows you have to get them from somewhere or buy them or yeah yeah that's a bummer yeah but let's deal you can deal with it yeah I I find it's more fun to attack

people with swords anyway I'm like a I'm a sniper and then I run in and clean up but yeah Mirage uh is apparently according to the you know the Press emails and whatnot it only mentions that it's set in Baghdad so I don't know if that means it's like literally constrained to just the city or if maybe you go outside a little bit but it certainly sounds like it's smaller scale than yeah the others well I he's going to be I think you're going to be traveling around outside the city a little bit because I saw you riding a camel and you can't that to me sort of leads that there'll be something that yeah I mean you get from one side of to the other on a camel but I see what you mean yeah and then punch a camel do sweger in uh yeah exactly cuz how pigs

back that cuz in in Origins you know you go to Alexandria at point but that's just a small part of the map even though it's a [ __ ] huge City so I don't know it's be interesting to see but the first game Assassin's Creed was set in Jerusalem and some areas outside actually which does lend Credence to the fact that you might go outside and then the second one thing about that game is they've never remade that or gone back to it ever well they went quite different after that it like they kind of changed after that like um cuz two sit in Italy right yes yeah and that's what I started bringing like the the building up your city and your town and stuff like that a little bit I mean that was all still in city oh and then like it was the one in London so I guess it's

just it's it's Origins Odyssey in valala when it got enormous I guess yeah yeah that's when they they I think they went off the tracks a little bit with like unity and synate and stuff and then Origins was a sort of restart how big was Black Flag I guess they've been they've been dabbling in it anyway Black Flag was quite big but that was more because you're sailing around that was yeah like I don't think the the maps like the sailing around part was quite big but the actual Islands I don't think was particularly huge if I'm remembering correctly anyway um it on looking forward to our to Mirage looks really pretty and it's uh the setting looks interesting to me I just don't like the date it's coming out when oh and later this just it's coming in October 12th of

October yeah yeah okay which that's fine but what comes out um October 17th is alen Wake 2 but I'm more concerned about what comes out in September go on Starfield oh okay I would have liked maybe Assassin's Creed and Ellen wake to come out like a month or two month before cuz starfields yeah I think Assassin's Creed is gonna have to wait yeah but I did just look Assassin's Creed I do have a feeling it is a smaller game cuz I just saw the price of it in Australia oh I think it's like 50 bucks here it's 80 here it's not a yeah so it's yeah so it's not like a I don't think it's a full full game I think it is more of a here's something to tied you over I don't think it's going to be bad or

anything yeah yeah no no no I know what you mean it's just a smaller scale thing yeah I have one question I want to get back to these 12 games from PlayStation showcase uh yep but I do want to ask briefly have you played this Golem game that everyone's [ __ ] on no I haven't yet and I'm sort of happy I haven't yeah okay I've seen some footage from it and I was like [ __ ] that looks like garbage it looks terrible when I like like how did this happen terrible like like it's when they announced it I thought they were going to like make a good game because like usually they try to cuz it's not like a movie tie in so they've got time to work on it and and but no that feels like this is just a rush to get it out there cuz Golem looks

frighteningly bad so weird yeah I I watched a video that just showed you kind of what happens in the opening parts of it and I was like God look garbage also happy I haven't gotten it because it's also a stealth game oh yeah sure and so it's going to be taking your time and I probably will get it when it's on sale but you know I'm the same I've been hearing horrible things about it okay well um so the so okay we got um the PlayStation showcase we've got Mirage coming out on Xbox uh what what else what else we got in there 2 yeah okay I got to play the first one I'm excited for that I played a bunch of the first one never finished it uh I should probably do that good game or you could also and then REM day went on also make control that was an awesome game I have

that I think actually I think it's on Game Pass but I did buy it at some point in a sale so they finally get to go and make alen m 2 which has been a long time coming and it looks amazing I don't know if youve seen a trailer for it yet no I did yeah yeah it looks cool he's writing writing the story of two FBI agents who are looking for him I guess it does seem that got that meta thing going on which I think the first one did too but yeah it was sort of like him sort of traveling through and then he's finding pages of his book which is actually also talking about what he's going through and what's about to come up and yeah like he's writing the story of what's happening or something yeah yeah so there had are two really big ones the other one that sort of came out

from it was they're doing a Metal Gear Solid 3 remake oh yes sorry I saw that too yeah yeah I don't really care about that which I don't really care I I was a big fan of Metal Gear Solid 2 that was any of them I've never played a mdle middle gear solo game the middle gear Sol to the one I remember that one because there's a fight in there that to do it properly you had to unplug your controller from Port one and put it in Port two so the guy couldn't read your mind which is just a Trippy thing to do at the time yeah I've I've heard of that yeah and oh and um there was some other thing too where you had to he he would tell you facts about yourself cuz he would look at the memory card and say oh you like playing you know whatever game final fantasy or something like that and

you be like the [ __ ] and he was just getting [ __ ] off your memory card yeah but that's all cuz what that's what's his name wasn't it that's kajima oh kajima he was yeah or ahead of his time even back then yeah the other one that's interesting to me is Marathon uh only because marathon is quite interesting you know one of bung's early Mac only games this bu going back to their Roots is it it apparently not it's look it's it's called marathon and it's based in the same you know it's the same IP but it's a like fortnite Style game so quite different to Marathon the original so oh that's quite sad I thought cuz I didn't actually I saw it was saying I saw cuz it's Bungie into yeah yeah yeah yeah it's Bungie making it so I don't know maybe it'll be good just I was like I

don't really care about those games no there's too many of them yes and it's sort of weird cuz this to me sort of would be taken away from their Destiny stuff cuz it's sort of in the same world like that whole play online multiplayer quite similar yeah I don't know so that's that and what else do we have there's and then there's other little games yeah like never Cat Quest Dragon Dogma 2 Dragon Dogma 2 so evidently they're doing that's coming out as well apparently the first one was good I haven't played it but I've heard it's good ghost Runner too apparently ghost Runner was good yep people are excited about that and then Immortals of AUM whatever that is don't know what that is oh and Talis princip first person shooters which I know

what yes I'm actually excited for all this cuz this is just what Sony have announced and then Xbox has gone hey look what we're getting as well yeah by the way oh yeah cuz Marathon actually bung is owned by Sony now so it's quite interesting that that game is you know so Microsoft owned Sony owned Bungie for a long time Halo was only on Xbox then they were independent Destiny happened was on all platforms Sony bought them you would think well they'll only make PlayStation games but no it's on everything so interesting yeah I think yeah I think yeah when they brought it was like but we're still going to be independent not yeah which I don't know how that works it's weird I mean you make more money if you sell to everybody I guess right so you do like if you you

basically if you got the two big consoles and you only sell to half the market you're wiping out 50% straight away like if Halo had been on Playstation they would have sold more copies presumably yes so whatever but I do hate that Sony keeps throwing money at Square Enix I want Final Fantasy more Final Fantasy on Xbox my Final Fantasy 7 remake oh yeah yeah that never came out did it no cuz evidently Sony keep every time the exclusive comes up Sony goes have another check oh okay and the Final Fantasy 16 I think which is their MMO one I think that's Sony only as well right son sonh but the awesome thing is we get the Microsoft Showcase in a couple of weeks yeah so even more stuff so we get more game announcement pretty neat and we probably not these ones cuz

we already know about these so it'll be different yeah yeah I don't why would you announce stuff that's already out there I mean they might play a trailer for him who knows but yeah sometimes they do that show off how good it looks or something yeah but and then they're going to so they're going to do like a showcase and then they're going to have a Starfield only one just after it so that'll get its own event nice which is getting closer I didn't realize it was so close as I know it's it's almost June time's flying man it is half the year almost gone my [ __ ] kid's 2 years old now how'd that happen have we started with why she says a lot she's so chaty now it's ridiculous she's like trying to get somewhere and she just stops and goes H

puddle H uh dog uh this h a car a car oh the moon in the sky it's like yeah yeah yeah come on very good but go yeah keep moving keep moving yeah see I'm just going to stick with cats I've just lost my cat wandered off somewhere he'll be fine yeah yeah yeah L does that too yeah I'm sure yeah someone will return them with yeah pretty a practice looking after toddlers when you're looking after me that's exactly right well she drinks less than you she she'll get there yeah I'm sure um tears of the Kingdom came out I haven't played it yet Jenna's been playing it a bunch she loves it and I know a lot of people online are loving it and I saw an interesting article and I'm I'm just glad we can have stats like this these days days cuz it is

interesting to me teas of the kingdom is is doing so well that people are now searching for porn Zelda porn on porn hub and the like and we get we get to look we get to have those stats now because the world's great there's been understand what Zelda porn would be I mean I guess people with elf ears on or something yeah I mean I'm going to find out okay let us know going to be a statistic all right porn um did you just Google there's some no no I went into PornHub I'm statistic on the website um it's a lot of animated stuff it's on the first page at least like it's all cartoons and then yeah it gets down and then yeah alies and yeah right outfits that's shut that down animated stuff is disgusting

bookmark that and then uh close it yeah anyway I just thought that was funny there's been a big spike in that I guess shouldn't be surprising also reminded me of that um that time PornHub put out the map of all the US states and the most searched what searched thing which was very funny cuz I think Rhode Island they had Sonic the Hedgehog and I was like wait what there was no there was no explanation just said Rod Island Sonic the Hedgehog it it's interesting when they come up I don't you're you're right on that mhm they should do it more often I think it's funny and interesting what people what people are into yeah yeah yeah I don't know I I couldn't I I used to like Zelda I used to like you mean like the world of Zelda you like like Z oh I see what you say yeah okay I used

to like the games and stuff before they went on breath of the wild and stuff but I never thought go I like playing this game what's it look like when they're [ __ ] yeah right I've never gone that have you got is there anything that you've gone I need to see this after playing a game no I don't think so yeah it's I mean they're not real like yeah I don't know yeah there's never been any type of game of play called no now I need to search to see what they're like naked it's not a thing no for me at least no well you can't I hear you can't prove I have so except for that guy who was emailing you a while ago going he's going to leak your videos that's true that's true yeah and and obviously

obviously I'm showing up in the PornHub stats for my stonic the Hedgehog habit so but I have heard that people are loving tears of the Kingdom yeah yeah yeah yeah Jenna played it like on the plane there and back and to to Texas and I think she's playing it right now but yeah she's loving it it's good yeah um I from what I've heard yeah from what I've heard from people playing it it's I probably wouldn't like it because it's very much the same you have the weapon break system which yeah you I hated I know and then you also have to build stuff now you do yeah you build like machines and stuff robots and yeah yeah and I don't have time for that no well I just want him to go back to like a link to the past I like that well they made that uh remake of yeah the the the

shadow one DX DX DS DS no no no no no oh my God why can't I think of the name of it the windfish one what the hell was that called Zelda wind wind waker the windfish is from links Awakening they made they did a remake of links Awakening yes I I I got that and I played that and I enjoyed that and that's and I think the last game I really liked was Wind Waker or the princess one Twilight Princess on Twilight Princess yeah you turned and then breath of the W yeah breath of w came out and I I I tuned out it's not for me yeah fair enough yeah I liked it sad speaking of sad no achievements no that's true too speaking of sad there's some Twitter followup Twitter things it still exists which I guess is something but um people have been saying

oh you know we fight all those people and Twitter is still working fine but is it because apparently it's not and then now the latest there been bugs all over the place where you know your tweets on your phone are different from the ones you see on your computer and stuff like that so they've been weird stuff going on then now apparently uh it's just putting back tweets that you deleted oh so and the the examp example given for this was somebody who deleted their entire Twitter account at some point deleted all their TW not the account deleted all their tweets they just had nothing on there went back to have a look recently and some of not all of them some no some of them are just back for no really good reason and then they were saying this is I think it was on

the verge yeah yeah sorry this article is The Verge um saying it's not really a major issue for them because it's not like they had anything dodgy on there they just didn't want to have a Twitter anymore but it's just something's obviously wrong it must have been a think I'm restoring from a back up at yeah I don't know know it's just yeah well they' fired but a lot of people so yeah exactly so it's possible that some important maintenance task is not being performed now yes who knows cuz cuz they fired a lot of people very quickly so it's not like there's been a gentle hand off and oh by the way I do Frank I you do this on a Friday afternoon at this time massive layoffs of like I don't I don't know the exact number like 90% of the company or something like that and he

actually even Elon even admitted recently in an interview that they do need to apologize and hopefully some of those people will come back because they do need people to do some of these jobs it's just that like it's not like 90% of the people that were fired were sitting there doing nothing no it's just that Twitter was hemorrhaging money and he was like well [ __ ] I need to we need to do something and he just was like fire everybody in the end didn't work out but and and somebody people oh you want me back cuz you really need me well why now want this yes well we'll see how that goes and uh I mean well the other thing though is why I mean I'm not sure I'd want to work there right now who knows what the [ __ ] going to happen to their company now cuz it could be a you come

back and then you piss him off again and you're gone cuz remember he he would he would fight with some of his the staff on on Twitter when he goes we should be doing this this this and then oh now I've lost my job yeah yeah and the other thing that's happening too is they've decided now wow they've decided elon's tweeted and said they're going to start making Twitter accounts that aren't being used anymore available so for example if like us you don't use your Twitter account very much you might find that they just give it to somebody else which which that's a bit I actually don't have a problem with that well as long as it's like I don't I do because it's it's the the use the

particular case that I empathize with is if somebody has died yeah and their Twitter account is a record of their interactions yes that seems a bit sad so yeah but and this isting there actually needs to be something put in place for what happens when people don't with their social media presence like at the a lot of it is all Facebook Facebook they'll they'll switch it to like a memorial page which is but I think there are also some others that won't do anything unless there's a court order or okay it depends on the thing but I think if they put something in like that that would be good but then cuz Google's about to do the same thing with email accounts as well oh okay any email account that hasn't been logged in for 2 years they're going to get rid of it so

it's not that it's so it's not that with this I I think it's going to be it'll yeah there'll be like a time limit so yeah not used it's logged in yeah it's all bit up in the air I don't know exactly what I mean because this is just Elon tweeting things and he changes his mind all the time so who knows what'll actually how it'll actually work I would just be interested to know what exactly constitutes you know like abandoning a Twitter account like for example I don't post very often but I do but look you log in from time to time does that count or not maybe not I would because well he wants people using it I'm not really using it I suppose no no you're the one he wants to do he wants people looking yeah okay oh cuz I see ads and [ __ ] that's where that's where the ads go

with people looking at it right so logging on and looking you're fine logging on you're probably just fine it's the stuff that okay well find I mean the other thing is too I really care if I lose my Twitter account maybe it'd be better off with it at this point cuz you look at the algorithm they will when you're scrolling on it it'll it'll see you stop and pause on something something for a second and go oh you like that type of stuff we start promoting that Stu you like sexy Zelda P yeah for for you at Sonic yeah ex yeah wow sexy sonic pic is is redundant just they're all [Laughter] sexy yeah yeah look if they bring in

something for like that Memorial stuff like Facebook I I I think I'm fine with this cuz think of how many accounts there are that are just yeah there that were burner accounts some created once Little Egg as a profile picture yeah like and I don't know how many there would be but it probably would save them a bit of money yeah maybe maybe I mean how much I mean it's just an entry in a database table surely yeah but think about how long Twitter's been there if they haven't been getting rid of it and they're just people out there like you're thinking of the way you use Twitter yeah where we we we've got sort of like between us we have like three accounts sort of we've got the nerdgasm one which never gets used and then our personal ones yeah but

there are people out there that will have 20 or go create one just to watch one particular thing so they don't know they're watching or yeah people be creepy will go and create accounts just people out there we just create accounts yeah and have hundreds and so look I think it adds up I'm not saying it's going to save them billions but well who knows oh the the I guess as a web developer I still have no idea how Twitter Works behind the scenes like it's not possible to because they don't disclose that so maybe it would save maybe they do have a [ __ ] server for every account for some stupid reason who knows yeah I mean that would be dumb but you never know you never know you never know did you watch that Willow show that that came

out no I don't think I was ever going to no I don't think you'll be able to anymore cuz they got R they're getting rid of it really yeah apparently Disney plus is two things are happening they announced this week which I think this is how it is in Australia already Hulu which they own is being smooshed into Disney plus which I think Australia you just have you just have Disney plus right and it's got all that stuff on it yeah yeah we cuz we never had Hulu so it was never separate was all just in the one yeah okay so they're going to be doing that so all the Hulu content will be moved into Disney plus it'll just be one app and the other thing is makes life a lot easier apparently uh because what's his name's back uh Bob Iger is back I got yeah and

he's I mean I guess this is his decision he said we've got some [ __ ] on here we need to clean this [ __ ] up like it makes us look bad to have too much garbage and I think Willow is is not making the cut so wow it's uh being removed it's been what 6 months it's been on there yeah it hasn't been long I know they cancelled season two pretty quickly yeah they gave us six months not even this m has become absolutely cruel to spend redacted on a show and then disappear 6 months later is just bad business but if no one's watching it it is it is odd right it's like that that you know when we said HBO actually we got some HBO news as well HBO or Warner Brothers just started getting rid of their stuff and it was like why why not just leave it there but

it's kind of like that I guess but but in this case they're saying it's not of a standard that they want on the platform so okay well I've never watched it so I I I don't know but it's also one of those things is they might take it down off there they can then actually try and sell it maybe yeah maybe okay yeah no I heard it wasn't very good I know that um Jerry from arcade didn't like it at all in fact I think he said horrible things about it so and I just his opinion um speaking of just the HBO Max thing right so HBO Max and uh Discovery plus are now morphed together into max so HBO is just gone now it's just max which is someone pointed out rip HBO after 40 years or whatever I like oh yeah didn't even notice that I didn't

hadn't considered that that was a side effect of this yeah um and then this week they launched the max app which uh there was a weird thing that they've done where on the page for a show or a movie it'll say starring and it's got all the actors and actresses and then instead of listing the you know the director and the producers and all that kind of stuff it just says creators and they're all like lumped together seemingly at random and it's upset a lot of people see this I think it also to me it also is a bit weird cuz it got creators and then it's only list like a hand full of people whereas the Creator should would be a very long list it's like how yeah it's very odd like who makes the cut to be in this little paragraph and then also in this case the

screenshot shown is Man of Steel right you've got David goyer who worked on the story John Peters producer Charles Roven producer Christopher Nolan producer right didn't have a huge amount to do with it as far as I'm aware and it kind of creates a false picture of his involvement Lloyd and then Z SN the guy who directed the [ __ ] movie is like sixth like and thenes about 400 other people who helped create it yeah it's just very strange why yeah having it spit up like this is the director he's a producer like that yeah you know you know who to blame yeah yeah so they're saying this is like a technical thing and I bet my feeling is probably that's true this was like somebody just kind of some some program was like I'll just throw them all together in a yeah in one

big thing and it's like the ranking is probably just some weird thing about the order they appear in the database or something stupid like that p r d yeah I can't it's not alphabetical in yeah there's no doesn't seem to be any Rhyme or Reason to it it is it's alphabetical all by their last name no it's not is it s s oh you're right is it uh no cuz Nolan is after Roven is a b c d e f g h i j k comes after I can tell yeah okay you almost you almost convinced me there yeah yeah you almost convinced me there until I saw those two yeah look I'm all for we should just get rid of it don't have anyone's name up they just have the title of the movie you're done

yeah yeah I mean you're better off no without this confusing thing and people saying the other problem is it's you know with the writer on and everyone's already mad at Warner Brothers who owns this um they're now saying oh it's a grave insult so I don't think it was intended as such I think someone just [ __ ] up it's just a just a stupid thing that happened by accident yeah no I'm uh I I don't see the point in credits and stuff get rid of them if people want to know they can go look it up an IMDb IMDb is not necessarily a good resource yeah but we can just get rid of it though yeah I don't want to hang around for credits no reads them you're one of those that's cuz you who reads credits actually you know I was going to say it's cuz your name's never been in

credits but it has so I uh I take that I take that thought back no one reads the credits at the end of a movie I I mean I do when I or someone I know is in them under normal circumstances not really yeah like apart from these names that you see up here if you you couldn't name any else that worked on the movie who was like the second unit director or yeah I mean we're we are in I guess an unusual situation because we grew up with people who are in the credits of movies now so and it is cool to go hey I know that guy but I think you're right if I didn't know people I probably wouldn't and and also I have an interest in film and stuff too that other people may yeah I think y aage Joe probably

doesn't give a [ __ ] no no but yeah I do understand in the industry it is you want your name upd oh yeah totally yeah no completely understanding but for me can skip it it's great that's what I live for unless it's my name doesn't need to be there yeah that's fair speaking of film making I I just briefly mentioned this they finally released logic pro and Final Cut Pro on iPad recently and I when I first saw it I was like oh cool cuz I have an iPad and then I was like I don't think I want to I don't think I'd use that like I I don't really understand the use case for this stuff I don't know how for me you need a mouse like it to well you can use this pencil right I've got I got this for my iPad the penil they come with a pencil now no that they don't come with

it you pay for it extra ah I just find so and this is my this example I think exemplifies why I find it a bit strange right when you're working on a project uh say Final Cut you're editing a movie right you get to the end you want to export the video right that takes time to do MH on a Mac or PC you go export here and it puts up progress bar and then you can switch to another program or the browser window or while that runs in the back in the background on the iPad version of Final Cut Pro it it has a warning that says you have to leave this open and you basically then have to sit there and stare well leave your iPad and use

another device or just stare at the progress bar until it's finished like this they're just not really made for this stuff you know no unless so can you do your editing on the go and then copy over and then export it you that be a way you could do that can I think you can do round trips both ways on logic Final Cut I'm not sure I think actually you might be able to do that now that you mentioned itz that I think could work like that way you're out about doing you're doing your thing while you've got five minutes I'll just yeah h s or do these touches then get home throw it on there and let it do SC so you're actually using just to edit maybe Al the the processing power of your iPad it's going to take a lot longer no they have the the the new iPads have the same

chip in them as my Mac Studio I'm using now they have the M1 chips in them oh God cuz I'm going back to an iPad that I had like 10 the new ones the new ones are in some cases more powerful than the desktop oh computers so but you're still limited to because that's just how they work like you can only have one when when you switch from one app to another the one you were looking at before goes into the background and because they're all about you know it's all about battery life and all that kind of stuff it will be suspended in the background so it's not actually going to be able to keep thing this isn't a laptop this is well that's the thing though right it basically is so basically is but it's not so anyway I just I wonder also the other thing is I do find them clunkier to use for this

kind of stuff than a than a computer because you're right I I use a Mouse yeah got your keyboard short cuts yeah I'm faster and I work better that way but maybe maybe there are people who don't right in listeners if you think if you actually think doing this stuff on an iPad would be better in some way I just really don't see it personally I don't think better I think it's just going to give people a bit more convenience maybe some people okay yeah I I don't know cuz I've tried editing podcasts before on an iPad and I just don't really see the advantage of it I'd rather just do it on my computer I'm I'm much faster on my computer but then again I guess I've been using a computer for well that's like we were brought up using desktops yeah that's true now kids

go to school and they're given iPads and they're used to doing everything on the go they're brought up that way whereas for us it's you go to the room and you do the computer work it's not even that it's just the the the way you interface with it I can't flick between apps and have one still doing stuff and that kind of thing I don't know maybe maybe this actually maybe this kind of foreshadows them changing some of that stuff on thep because it I mean really it it is just just as powerful as the laptops are now it's the same [ __ ] inside and and for something like this like while the exporting they should be able to work out something that you can maybe do something else while that I to say export like it's if I mean they're the only only ones who can if anybody can

make it work they're it's them they're the only ones who can do that cuz they own the [ __ ] platform so because like to go now you export and now it's sort of useless for a little bit instead of I'll check my email yeah you now have to stare at the screen for however long it takes to render a video which in some cases I think is quite a long time yeah depending on what you're doing it could be forever yeah when you're sort of doing your Sonic porn yeah exactly editing my um my footage yeah yeah I thought I thought it was interesting but then I and at first I was excited and then I was like why do I care about this I don't know why well do you have to buy a separate or does your license transfer it's a subscription it's got nothing to do with the Mac version It's a

subscription that's separate oh yeah 50 bucks a year so you have to buy a subscription to that you doesn't that's that's wrong you should be able to subscribe to a license and I should be able to use it here and Key Well I think in their defense Apple's behind the ball on this subscription [ __ ] I paid a couple hundred bucks for logic [ __ ] 15 years ago or something I I I just it just keep getting updates like I've got the latest version like you're just got to be quiet not mention anything no no I mean that's just the how they've done it for so long I feel like at some point they're going to realize hang on a minute everybody else's like Adobe charges a fortune for their stuff so and same Final Cut I bought Final Cut Pro X a few years ago

really so the other news is that Pedro Pascal has confirmed that's not him in the suit he's not on set when they shoot this show anymore the Mandalorian which we'd sort of heard sort of rumors about that that they had he sort of the stunk guy who is someone's John Wayne's grandson or something oh maybe was in the suit most of the time so now he's just yeah I'm just a voice actor yeah that's that's what he said yeah he's just basically he's just a voice acting role for him at this point there are sometimes he's been in it with his helmet off and that obviously that's him but yeah not recently look I I think they as long as they're making it clear he doesn't need to be in the suit like what's the point in having an actor the thing is too though it's not really his

depressing it is look here's some happy news they have confirmed Beetle Juice 2 September 2024 it will star Michael Keaton Winona Ryder Jenna Orga Monica Belushi as Beetle Juice's wife and they've confirmed William defo is going to be in it this is going to be amazing how long have they been talking about making Beetle ju to for Tim Burton's directing it like I mean I mean Tim Burton's made some missteps for sure but and I mean obviously there's a chance it's going to be garbage but um whatever I'll be I'm I'm I'm there I'm there for this I'm there yeah and of course like second I saw Jen Orga of course it's going to be yeah and she's a [ __ ] hot property right now yeah came out of
