So anyway, if you've ever found it hard to understand what this show is, we I apologize. But in other things is I was going to go somewhere with that. Oh, no. I was going to start talking about like what is the show about? And honestly, I'm not really sure. We just like talking. Yeah. While this movie was still fun and I enjoyed it and it was good to see sit in a big screen, the movie makes no sense. >> H there's >> a little bit since I've seen it. >> Okay. You remember the part where it was on Junk Planet? >> Yeah. >> And you got Eric Idol and for some reason the junk people are trying to attack them >> and then they say the then the hot rod comes along and says the international greeting. They've got Lin and Nemoy and Eric and everyone, but his name's not in the opening and I think it's because at the time >> he >> he wasn't a star. >> He wasn't a star that he was. >> Yeah. >> Oh, that's right. Yeah, because it's Unicron and then Megatron becomes Calron. Yeah. Because did you you know the story of the Transformers the movie, right? It was just sell sell toys was it was just it was an advertisement and they'd never considered >> that kids loved the characters already. They just didn't think about it like that. >> Yeah. They were like >> we we want to make new toys. How do we >> get rid of all of these characters? let's make a movie and we'll just kill them all off and then make new ones. And then that's what the that's what Transformers the movie is is them like if and if you watch it knowing that you can see it >> like literally all the old characters die or go away or whatever >> and then they're introducing all these new characters >> or literally turn into new characters. >> Yes. Like cuz when you think of

Transformers and like Decepticons, you think Megatron. You don't think Galvatron, >> right? Yeah. But same person, mate. >> Same person. >> Yeah. [laughter] Um >> David Starscream. >> Yeah. Yes. And then but then the movie came out and all these kids were like horrified and crying in this theaters and then all the Hasbro people were like oh didn't think about that. >> Optimus Prime's dead. Like whatever. But the kids were like Optimus Prime. >> Yeah. >> Pretty funny. >> It was fun. >> I don't think I'll ever watch it again though. >> No. Oh, just the soundtrack was awesome though. >> Yeah. Yeah. Uh the main theme by Lion, I believe. >> And oh god, who is it? Someone does two songs. >> Stan Bush.

A new character who becomes another new character in the movie. So, we like got bored of him halfway through the movie. >> I don't Hot Run was almost my favorite. >> Yeah. >> And then we got the real life movies and they combined Hot Rod and Bumblebee together into one character. >> Yeah, I guess they did, didn't they? >> I That's how I sort of see it. They sort of took Bumblebee and then >> cuz he was a Camaro, not a >> Yeah. >> Not a Volkswagen >> like a Beetle.

>> That would have been a weird movie. Well, they didn't make that movie. Well, he he was actually he was a he was a uh beetle briefly in it, isn't he? And then he changes into a command. >> Yes. Because what's his name? Goes, "No, not that car." And then they turn around and change. >> Cuz they want Sam because some stupid [ __ ] >> I mean, I liked that movie when it came out. >> I like the Bumblebee movie. >> I haven't seen that. >> You should see. He said in an interview recently that he he did dial the comedy back after some test screenings when people said it was too funny and so he dialed it back. But >> but I liked a lot of the humor. The humor was sort of poking fun at Resident Evil. Like >> All right. >> Like there's padlocks like and like there's another padlock. And >> there was one time where he's trying to get out of a gate and he can't find the

key. So, I'm just going to shoot it. Can't shoot the padlock. I'm just going to drive through. It destroys the car. Like, you need that padlock to open that up. >> Okay. Interesting. >> Even finding the shotgun ammo is like the ammo from the game. And little things like that, little nods. And it's a standalone movie, which I like. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it's set from what he said in the timeline of Resident Evil 2, like Raccoon City stuff is happening, but it's not about that. artwork and stuff like that, which uh is very exciting to me except there's been some backlash this week because they posted a trailer and some screenshots and stuff. Um yeah, it's comparing two different trailers from Nintendo. Uh well, not from Nintendo, what's the developer name? Level Five. Uh, and people think they're using AI generated art in the remake >> because they believe the artwork has mistakes that only AI would make. >> Mhm. >> And uh, people really mad about it. Oh, no. Level 5 is definitely using Gen AI to update Professor Leighton, especially when you compare the original backgrounds to the new. So many weird details and inconsistencies were added. Um,

they said they came out and they said that they did use some >> for the show for the for that trailer, I guess, for the Vision 2026 2 showcase. [ __ ] Japanese naming for things. Makes it hard to explain what I'm talking about [snorts] for the video. >> Could it be that? Look. Oh, we need to get something out, but we're not ready. So, let's quickly >> maybe. Um, so they they did do some gen asked us to make the the presentation flashy, but they also said that a lot of the stuff um that people are pointing out is actually just mistakes people made, humans made. >> Oh, >> so they I mean they said >> so yes, we used AI, but it's not sort of stuff you think.

AI use as well as human mistakes that look like AI errors and upload corrected versions of the trailers to coincide with Tokyo Game Show, which opens to the public this weekend. But I think the it only makes people think that because the original doesn't look like that. >> And so I guess technically if they're

saying humans made a mistake. I mean, there could be one. That could be that was a mistake the humans made. The AI actually fixed that. >> Yeah. If they were rushing to make this trailer or get this done for or whatever, I guess >> cuz it does. It's the the staircase is turning and at a certain point instead of like like transitioning the view, it just they just stop. The stairs stop >> and it looks weird. When you notice it, it looks weird >> when you But but when you look at it though, that could actually >> it doesn't actually look that bad. It goes on your back and then it can shoot webs and you can swing around as Yoshi with it and then like you do puzzles and stuff. It's great.
