[Music] welcome to multiple nerdgasm your destination for all things nerdy here we are again can't get rid of us you just God you wish it could you wish it didn't Auto download on iTunes but uh here we are again I think we're semi behind in releasing stuff but uh rest assured there are there are many uh many podcasts in the can so uh you're probably going to get this in a few weeks which by then will mean all the news we just talked about will be irrelevant that's true but look if if you're a listener and and and you're a little disappointed that the podcasts don't come out more regularly then um you edit them and that's all I have to say about that our listeners will complain about

pretty much anything but they'll never lift a finger to help yeah the thing that they the listeners maybe don't understand is that that while what they get at the end of the process you know nice to listen to and funny and hahaa it's not all that way it doesn't start out that way does it Dan no no it doesn't you miss out on the arguments the racist swearing uh you know the uh the seemingly endless conversations that go round and round and lead nowhere y it's just it's awful in fact if we released an unedited episode you would never listen to us again rest assur we could maybe we could do that one day maybe it could be this one day maybe it could be this all right well everyone just keep it tight keep it together don't make any racist slurs and maybe we can can yep in

all fairness Dan you're the one who's only making the races slow look you getting you all right two minutes in and we're uh we're already hitting racial slows so uh without further Ado uh Matt do you want to kick us off with some news buddy well there's an urban legend uh about a game called ET for the Atari 2600 that I remember it well I remember it well yeah well it it's notoriously the worst game ever made it was developed in a very very short period and rushed and um the guys famously said the guy who designed it said I I I did my best did he have like two weeks I that's the quote on game the game I did my best yeah it's just not good enough they also do

something crazy like they made more copies than there were consoles yeah cuz they thought they were going to a [ __ ] T of new consoles but they didn't so what did they do with them what did they do with all these cartridges that they couldn't sell well the legend was that um they buried them in New Mexico in the desert in in the desert in landfill uh 1983 I think they did this uh and it's been an urban legend of sorts although I mean there must have been someone that knew like that it was true so they could have well I are you more than willing to advertise your your professional fuckups to the world hey you know that ET thing that was all my

problem I [ __ ] ordered way too many I made a horrible mistake well 30 years on they have they have dug them up they've dug them up who who dug them up who did this yeah um it was a documentary that was funded by Microsoft okay St that's going to appear on one of the Xbox One channels right yeah well so they yeah they' they've dug them up and yes there are a shitload of these cartridges buried in the desert that's so good and I'm looking at some screenshots of the game now and this looks woefully [ __ ] yeah even for 2600 I I've played it it's bad and if you fall into a pit and get stuck you can't do anything you have to turn the game off like that's it that's great you don't die you just that's back in the day where there's no checkpoints there's

no going back it's oh can I read a quote from uh the designer please do uh he's now a psychotherapist FYI right so I've been carrying right I've been carrying this thing the theoretically worst video game of all time for 30 years now it was a game that was done in 5 weeks it was a very brief development I did the best that I could and that's okay a giving himself a little hat on the back look has somebody done an emulator of this is there somewhere I can play it yeah dude you can get a00 M anywhere and uh just download the ROM great it's got a cool roms.com and uh download away this was sort of the first game first movie timeing game ever and it really set the trend for every movie timeing game after that didn't it it

really did it really really did uh with the exception of some very few commodor 64 games like the Batman uh game uh that was a great game it was awesome it was [ __ ] awesome uh there have been very very few uh movie to video game conversions that have been even remotely decent uh it's uh it's unfortunate thing but uh usually they are rushed uh to meet the film um and they end up being universally terrible so um they found sometimes actually keep plots secret from even the people making the game and it's pretty obvious you know what that actually makes a lot of sense Luke because there's quite a few movie tie-in games that I used to have for the omiga 500 that that would explain a lot no no I used to wonder as a kid like why isn't this more like the film oh

right yeah and that's probably it with this actually some Lucas film games uh like the Indiana Jones games which weren't really based on the movies more just based on the characters the UN verely terrible I mean they're just awful um just awful it's it's like a running joke in the video game industry now it's like h no surprise the game sucks like yeah it's well it's like the new the new Spider-Man game that came out for the um Amazing Spider-Man 2 there's these suck I've seen some hilarious animated Gifts of of just Spider-Man just stuck in a fire hydrant spinning uncontrollably and like apparently it's almost unplayable wow that's bad y that's bad so they they found these cartridges seemingly probably quite a

few of them uh in the landfill um and they've dug them up uh and uh they're just basically had to show that hey this is not an urban legend this actually happened yep which is pretty cool actually buy one of these let I bet they still work those are T cartridges are [ __ ] hardcore too are they selling them yeah everyone who worked on the crew is going to get one and then they're going to auction off the rest God [ __ ] oh I guess that's pretty funny I could dust off my Atari dust it off these games are a couple filthy fil they came from a landfill take it in for some vaccination before you insert this cartridge bet it still works in Mexico bet it still works yeah yeah I'm surprised the groundwater

didn't get to them they just they're looking pretty good Nick maybe they was still packaged um one thing a lot of people are also claiming that this is a hoax oh really they yep that they weren't really there and I think um Major Nelson Larry yeah he was there there's a photo of him at the site and because he's got wearing one of the hard hats it just looks like it's been photoshopped on M Nelson yeah dream of Genie know from Microsoft yeah right I maybe his name his charact handle is based on that it might be I never knew where his handle came from yeah no I didn't either until you said that and then that makes sense though yeah I'm trying to find this picture of him I yeah oh yeah I'm trying to find it

myself yeah that that does look photosho it's just because it's so high up on his head yeah it does it looks stupid that's just a man who's never done physical labor in his life and that's why it doesn't suit him I think yeah there's several no there pictur yeah oh wow okay well I want to play it now well you'll get your chance for about one minut been five minutes after this uh podcast and uh you can get yourself a emulator in the room FY it's terrible You'll Play for 30 seconds and go I can't I just can't I just can't what have I done yeah while we're on the topic of Amazon H I read a funny story this week um when I found out that the author of The Vampire Diaries has started writing her own fan

fiction as it a joke no does that does it count if it's her own her own property well it isn't her own property and that's the point of the story so basically the uh The Vampire Diaries uh bunch of novels from when Matt you like these don't you early 90s I think they're I think they're from the early '90s maybe late so um basically the author LJ Smith didn't conceptualize uh this series of books what happened was a publisher commissioned her to write three books with a brief of make and rice for kids and so she went away she wrote um the three novels and they were published and she was paid under a work for hire contract which is basically she doesn't own the copyright she doesn't own any

licensing rights and she doesn't own the property because got [ __ ] she just work for hire um now that kind of deal happens quite a lot in the industry except that when it happens usually it's happened under strict negotiations with agents and um you know those kind of things require quite a big fee if you're officially giving up your extended rights yeah but she was just an emerging artist and nobody thought this was going to go Gang Busters like it did right or but didn't it didn't 20 years later own show and now everybody's gone back and reading them um but well you would be furious yeah and I'm sure she is after she wrote the initial three um they just got their team of writers to write the rest of the books so all the other books are just written by a miscellaneous host

of Staff writers amazong now have a feature where you can self-publish fanfiction and um right right and get get the money from it if anybody decides to download is that only if Amazon owns the rights to yes I would assume so because otherwise that would just be illegal yeah so but yeah it would have to be properties that that Amazon have purchased um certain copyrights for yeah but why you would want to buy anyone else's fan fiction I don't know except that TJ Smith author of the original Vampire Diaries novels has taken that as an opportunity to continue writing her stories so if you want you can go on to

Amazon and buy the official unofficial offire di Vampire Diaries right huh that's interesting that's hilarious it's also a little sad though yeah coming is absolutely no surpr W to anyone else uh Microsoft finally realized that the connect is in fact a piece of [ __ ] and no one wants it and they have relented and now they're going to be selling the Xbox One Sans the device that was so integral to the Xbox One experience so uh there you have it so does that mean I can unplug this thing yes at some point yes it's getting patched it probably will be an update yeah yeah coming out oh but it won't work without it oh yeah yeah that's right it won't about it yeah there's actually talk that they might

actually be able to boost some performance now for [ __ ] sake well it doesn't it use like 12% of the CPU or something like yeah because and because it's always on so even though I might be playing a game I could still go Xbox watch TV yeah yeah and it take me out of game take me to television now I know uh I know [ __ ] Luke's being dying to hear about this DCS black shark oh we've all been dying here we uh well I uh I had a bit of time and uh on a weekend I I was just I thought you know what um going to play me some [ __ ] DCS black shark got got me old joystick all plugged in configured uh took about 40 minutes um got into the game thought uh I'll just warm up with some instant action you know just get in there um just uh fly around for a bit um get into

the game Crash to desktop oh that's weird jump back in the game load it up again jump in all right well on to some more interesting news I um I recently my work just bought some Dev kits for the Ulus Rift so um uh I've been having a play and uh can I just say until you've used it you don't understand how [ __ ] awesome this thing is like I was playing with some of the basic demos and it's so [ __ ] immersive it's incredible like there were moments where I was stand up when I was on the roller coaster that if I almost fell over like it it literally is just it's so hard to explain the experience it's just it's so immersive that your body gets confused because

your body thinks it's moving and yet your inner ear is is not telling you that you're moving so you just you start to just lose all sense of where you are and what's going on it's it's just [ __ ] incredible like I cannot wait till the consumer version this is released I almost went and just bought a second dev kit cuz I thought I just have to have this like I just have to have it now um and that was just the first gen dev kit so once we get our second gen ones I God knows like [ __ ] hell I can't wait this is uh it's a game changer Maddie it's a game changer you reckon oh yeah you reckon yeah yeah H yeah it's it's pretty cool they did release recently someone made an Oculus Rift game where you're in a room and you can pick up up a virtual like a Game Boy and you can

play Game Boy games on the virtual Game Boy so you play as someone playing a game yeah yeah and you go into a room and you pick up the Game Boy and you can play Game Boy games on it which is weird and crazy but still cool so that's pretty cool yeah that was uh that was that was pretty awesome so uh uh I just wish they'd [ __ ] hurry up because I just they're going miss their window if they don't hurry up soon because you need to get people's interest in this now they need to get people start supporting it it's is it what we've been waiting for I think it is man I think it is I only had to play with it for an hour but in that hour I was just like [ __ ] I it's just so immersive that I'm just I just just picturing playing a horror game on it just [ __ ] made my back all tingle

up and I got chills just thinking about it it would just be terrifying like yeah why I don't think I will ever be getting that to play a horror game then why is that L I played out Outlast on the weekend oh great game I played that for 10 minutes screamed and turned it off really good then and it was at like the very very very first scare I walk through a door and there's just a swinging body you couldn't dead body hanging from the ceiling and I've just no couldn't play it you're not even oh Luke really that's that's I was that's sad that's sad you're going to miss out on such an amazing experience cuz you're a big scaredy cat [ __ ]

that what about it it's so scary to you I don't understand you've played seemingly hundreds of horror games yes yeah I don't I think it's CU I did it with the lights out headphones on yep that's how you meant to play it I had the turtle behind me mhm and he just kept making noises that I could sort of here and I think that was freaking me out a little bit wait the turt your turtle's making weird noises yes cuz one of them is trying to kill me that is true yeah confirm I can confirm that one of them is trying to kill him right okay so that just put me on edge a little bit as well mhm [ __ ] hell well Luke's uh Luke's never going to use Dave I played something this week you'll be you'll be happy to hear that I gave I gave this

another go because I was um I was a little bored yesterday I was home I was home alone and uh wanted to play a game but I didn't want to start something new because couple of games I want to play coming out this week CU we' got Wolfenstein coming out tomorrow and we've got uh Watch Dogs coming out next week and so I didn't want to start something new uh and then just have to stop so I'm like ah what have I just got sitting on here that I never really gave a chance and then I I realized that I hadn't really played much of Far Cry blood dragon oh yes so I jumped back in I started again and um yep played much more of it than I ever did the first time and it's actually pretty fun ridiculous yeah fun yes so you I just want you to get to

the part where you get to ride well yeah I definitely haven't ridden one yet I just I just want you to see that part because it's so spectacular so you got to finish it cuz it's only what 6 hours right yeah yeah no I'll keep I'll keep doing I'm sure I'll get distracted um when wolf ins sign comes out does anyone else think that looks I saw well look I saw some of the videos and I read an interview with one of the developers and I saw some uh twitch gameplay of it and I thought that actually looks like yeah looks really good like yeah it looks really [ __ ] fun um I'm probably going to get it too yeah yeah have you guys seen the videos for

um for this game have you seen them Matt Luke no no seen a bit of gameplay for it do yourself a favor man on the fence go go watch some twitch streams or something of someone playing it it looks really [ __ ] fun um okay which is strange to me cuz I thought the Wolfenstein franchise was long dead like I think there there was two games that I never even bothered playing at the offenstein franchise that I was just like I thought it was you know flogging a dead horse here but um looks pretty impressive H yeah um you know what I wasn't impressed by though that movie that had will and to foe in it that I went and saw at the at the cinema um what what movie is that I don't I don't even remember the name it's got a really long name and it's by

that Wes Anderson guy Hotel Grand yeah I just I don't get his films they're always just so quirky and offbeat I just I just I find them I'm like ah just they insist upon themselves don't they they just you like you like times I just I don't I don't understand why there so universally actually so you went to the movies or were you in Italy no no no I [ __ ] I did not pay the [ __ ] I thought it was hilarious yeah I just H all the way through I was like they want me to like this film they just want me to like it I mean the St is willing to F didn't say a word you can say about any film this film wants me to hate it no no but he's

right some films don't give a [ __ ] if you like it or not you know what I mean like the latest evil does not care if you like it it only cares if you it really doesn't yeah yeah whereas yeah I just I sat till the end so you know um I just oh I I just couldn't get into we saw it saw outside we saw it outside in the cold and it was out of sink and the wind was blowing the screen around and I still loved it where the [ __ ] did you watch this Africa it we went to the Moonlight Center it was good it was I I I really enjoyed it apparently it wasn't because the [ __ ] wind was blowing the sound was out of sink and the screen kept fling I still likeed this movie saying

right yeah same right what about uh you know you slept with my mother I thought I was a [ __ ] [ __ ] yeah you're a bisexual that's funny when you say it I don't know I just I just was like H I wanted to see um that film with Johnny Depp but apparently I was saving myself the grief and didn't have to because apparently it's any film made after 1995 that has Johnny Depp in it is terrible that's the you know what film are you talking about that's not hyperbole I think that is literally a safe assumption except for the first parts of the Caribbean movie I think that is the most boring actor in Hollywood and it's such a shame because he used to

be interesting and he used to take risks and now he's just like a director I used used to know who just uses him in everything precisely it's like they destroyed each other's careers yeah it's it's somebody once described it as it's like After High School finished the nerd and The Jock somehow became friends and just decided they didn't need anyone else that's so true that's so true I just oh awful just awful just trying to think Dave what movie was it in the only one I can think of lately 22 Jump Street which is coming out [ __ ] hell see that no it was gets the transhumanism one the one that is about transhumanism looks amazing okay yep the one is it's um

Cronenberg isn't it I don't even know I don't know I don't we don't even know the name of the film apparently Transcendence that's it isn't it Transcendence yeah is it is it the Cronenberg one someone should go to that website where they surely there's a website out there that has like a chronological sort of you know in-depth analysis of pretty much every it's Direct that's not yeah is a dop the Batman movie Inception yeah right so uh yeah there you go even great cinematography can't save a film apparently apparently it's ter every review I read everywhere premise sounded

great but that trailer was just boring I don't think I even made it to the end of the trailer and I just couldn't I couldn't handle Johnny Depp's smug voice talking to me for a you know we're speaking of movies are we going to talk about Batman oh yeah so we've seen him right you've all seen him I think it looks pretty cool no I I actually don't think that Christian bal's Batman looked all that good as a Batman I thought it was fine yeah but I think this one looks better no I think I think you've lit upon something Dan I think when you saw in the Dark Knight the second one uh the

the suit in in light it looked [ __ ] ridiculous like it looked stupid so I don't know I've only seen one picture of this fat man that you speak of he's big isn't he he's a bulky bulk of a man I I I think that works I think that works for Batman I mean the man's a thug but he I think he looks fat like I actually honestly think he look and everyone at work said I was crazy I'm like he just looks fat and now apparently there's like a joke on the internet about fat man like so I'm not the only one obviously um there's also rumors cuz obviously this picture is in black and white but there's rumors that this this Oh I thought you me picture is in the midor this photograph is in black and white um so people are speculating as to

whether this suit is actually in Blue and Gray and I would love that I would love a blue and gray Batman I have heard that rumor well um as in like the the cartoon series cuz the even the symbol looks very like the cartoon series symbol so I don't know maybe and especially since he's going next to Superman I think an oldfashioned blue and gay Batman would be great but looking at this suit it looks like Superman suit yeah you mean the texture and everything yeah yeah which doesn't make much sense within his own world that he's created and also Man of Steel I thought was pretty shitty so I don't know I don't know [ __ ] awful there's a Batmobile I left the cinema I don't know how the movie ends there's a Batmobile there in the

background I love that casual statement from M there's a Batmobile there in the background I can see it there they've tried to hide it by putting you in front try to distract but I've spotted it yeah I've spotted it and it looks like again it looks like it I don't know it just all looks like Man of Steel stuff and so I'm just a bit not excited look I'm more I I'll say it again though I still think even in this little bit that I can see of it this looks better than the previous Batmobile I was so disappointed by the Batmobile or lack thereof in the noan Batman well for starters it explodes into a into a [ __ ] motorbike doesn't explode into a motorbike stop it yeah but bring bring back a classic Batmobile that doesn't explode into a motorbike that's common

sense Common Sense speaking of not fantastic and just for effort did uh did anyone see Carrie who saw I saw Carrie did you saw I watched it on um on the cruise ship actually oh um Matt on a cruise ship what has this woman done to you hey it was fun man I bet it was I've always wanted to go on a cruise you should I recommend it I won't all right cuz [ __ ] you man I just won't what if I don't like it where am I going to go you don't think Beck would like you to take on a cruise well I just don't know but what if what you get a lot of points for that I know but what if I hate it and I'm just I'm stuck on it I'm stuck on the boat I think something as fundamentally fun as that even you would have to enjoy yeah

you don't have you can just do whatever you want I could just get drunk the whole time time you're on there you could yes and someone would just have to clean up after you well this that's usually what happens when he gets drunk anyway yeah well it wouldn't have to be one of us for a I can attest to that first hand yeah um Dave NOS exactly what I'm yes I do yes I I asked them this might interest you then I asked them what they do with people who get a bit too drunk and are uh Troublesome we throw them overboard no they um they confine you to your cabin with a security guard and then when they stop at the next Port they throw you off what if you're like in French Polynesia and you have no passport uh well you would have your

passport because you would be on the ship and they would put you off with it and then arrange for you to be sent back home at your expense oh that's kind of or live in French Polynesia exactly yeah [ __ ] yeah which also would be nice so either way you Dave there you go so um so Carrie someone saw carry I watch I watch car you've seen it too Luke yeah only this podcast could focus more on where the person was when they watched it than the actual film itself yeah that's right yeah because our reviews never extend past yeah I liked it it was pretty good and here's the cast is and sometimes sometimes the cast gets a little uh little jingle sometimes they don't oh my God we mentioned will before nothing happened Jingo Jingo Jingo Jingo [ __ ]

Jingo I know I know I know there's a the can we retrospectively do the jingle man we always retrospectively do the jingle do the [Laughter] jingle all right and that was uh that was half an hour ago so uh Carrie uh sorry Carrie is it I thought it was car car Carri car it k e r y [ __ ] off gee am I the only one who pronounces it that way you say don't know now Carrie Fisher yeah how do you pronounce it Luke Carrie Fisher really I think Carrie is like Carrie once again old at the focusing on some minute

detail sry man that's my fault please give me a review I didn't think it was very good to go with you all right that's it from now on we don't even do reviews we can hardly call these reviews I thought it was uh it didn't do enough different Matt don't feel you need to do any more on this review than Dave did on his Grand okay oh there are a few bits where I giggled but mostly it was [ __ ] wanted me to like it the director wanted me to like it she was like come on and I was like no Luke where were you when you saw this I I was just um at my home I wasn't right special you were you mean you were in Italy yes you were on the Piaza yeah

in the Pia now can I ask did you both watch this movie because you believe that the young Chloe morrettes is a little bit sexy no that's not may have had something to do with it for me who is Chloe Moretz she's um she's K Carrie K child actor car she's uh hit girl from um that movie I'm and if I'm going to find out how old she is now born 1997 there is something fundamentally wrong with you too me I've said no I watched it because uh he wanted to see comp CU I I don't want to do the

maths yeah she's 18 now she has to be is she 1997 I don't think she is Marvel at how we can't do basic math she's still 17 she's 17 right there you go so in America technically if she came here you could do it look I didn't think I didn't think I think they changed enough about the film it's been 20 minutes m still I want I just want to say I didn't think they did enough to make it any different to the original but they just kind of made it a shitty version of the original right I find the original has dated fairly poorly I yeah I didn't think the original was that great a movie yeah I didn't see it like I've got no Nostalgia for the original and when I saw it as an adult I just remembered

thinking maybe obviously this was received better at the time okay well I mean I I didn't think any of the characters were very particularly interesting in this and there was some weird some plot stuff that was just I don't know there's just a guy the guy in a in correct me if I'm wrong but in the original the guy who takes it to the to the prom is in on it right yeah oh yeah yeah yeah okay in this he's not he's just for some reason he's just so nice that he's doing this to make her feel better oh right and so somebody does like her yeah two people actually one girl who feels sorry for her and then her boyfriend one girl feels sorry for her gets her boyfriend to take take her to the prom and I don't know it's just it was just wasn't Carrie the whole

point about like how bullying creates monsters and like yeah yeah yeah this was more like well kind of there was just one awful over-the-top [ __ ] girl who was like ridiculously over the top and her over top boyfriend who was like I don't know was just it all very silly well you know what's not silly and and has been rebooted and is amazing the television series Cosmos what they've rebooted it they have redone series by Carl Sean and they have gotten Neil deg grassy Tyson um everyone's favorite Junior Tyson that's the name of this podcast let me write that down Jun

Tyson um and now the interesting thing is this this uh executive producer is Seth McFarland um of Family Guy fame um and all Seth has done is essentially fronted the cash and Neil Dey Tyson is so good um and the series production values are so awesome that it's it's thoroughly enjoyable to watch it's really really really good and it's going to inspire the next generation of young scientists it's it's that good it's hope so well researched it's so well done the the actual CG in it is just amazing for a television series it's [ __ ] fantastic all I've heard about it is the maim ban boys saying that there's an episode where he gets into a tiny spaceship and goes into a woman's vagina

yes well I'm I'm I'm in yeah that alone it doesn't it doesn't pull any punches it doesn't fall any punch oh I was worried it wouldn't include that but no it did yeah yeah no it's it's they skim over that aspect of space yeah you guys have to watch it cuz it's not just about space it's about no clearly not about biology speaking of inspiring new scientists yeah uh Japanese company has come up with an idea of inspiring the next generation of astronauts is this something you're going to almost sign up for no there's a jepanes company that is going to be the first people to advertise on the moon oh oh what are they going to what are they going to advertise yeah what are we what are we talking here a soft drink of course it

is now we're not going to be able to see it from Earth of course we're not it's only people on the moon that they're going to try look don't drink that [ __ ] that you've brought with you that NASA Moon dust why you dring of that [ __ ] that's exactly what they're doing they are firing off I think it's only available in Japan it's if firing up in can Will land on the moon it's going to last for 20 years and it's some soft Dr they've got over there so you're saying they're going to litter yes they're to fire those golf balls everywhere up there I suppose there no different we could fight some ET cartridges up there [ __ ] you think that was a cost effective solution that sent him to the Moon well I'm not I'm not sure

avertising that no one will see is a cost effective solution to anything exactly I know I guess see the meaning they're like so you how many people are we advertising what's our reach zero zero people people hm yeah what what the last 30 years no one's been there yeah Japan is like all those people around the moon going how many people still live on moon um none I don't think oh oh awful never mind yep just awful H so everyone should really watch Cosmos it's amazing go on watch it oh yeah cool no I will everyone who's listening right now stop the podcast that's all for this week and go watch something that's so much better than this come back to us let us know how it was

works oh well no one's ever emailed me all right I can't honestly say I'm surprised [Music] all right Dan take it away with Dan sigment Yeah so basically this is I can't believe it's not a movie mhm and uh this is in response to kind of all the uh the old properties um being licensed and turned into new films reboots remakes and so I decided to uh make a little segment where each week I would throw out three existing properties to uh the rest of you and you have to decide how we're going to turn this into a movie this could be a books games it could be uh anything really

awesome um stuff from our childhood maybe so the first one um so we've had um you know we've had some board games be turned into uh films now Battleship being a famous One um but I'd really like you guys to uh nut out connect for the movie connect for the movie okay let's just take the simple premise of Battleship and just reverse engineer that formula all right so the simple process of Battleship was that they just replaced the the enemy team in Battleship with aliens so I think we should probably just do the same thing here uh I I I'm thinking the one thing that they really took from Battleship was they had the whole like E7 they actually were able to corporate in inate that into the movie look the connect fall I was speaking more of a spy movie

The Connect Four being that they've have to break through a code or something they have to connect something along those wa think they've got a secret code that it's so easy to break you have to align four colors in a row no no no you've got to overline yourself only four people can uh can get through the the code and of the same color you mean the same race obviously oh I like this all right let's continue with that mat I think you're I think you and Luke have lit upon something here let's uh let's let's Hammer this out what if it's what if it's okay uh it's it is like a spy kind of film and there's a there's a guy who's um he's he's got a gymnast right and he gets called in and he doesn't know why because you know the government takes him in and they like

into the world of D and D yeah yes there was why don't we just why don't we just blatantly rip that off just rip that off while we're at it yeah yeah now they go on a roller coaster at a theme park and then they seriously it yeah yeah they get in a roller coaster and it transports them to [ __ ] Dragon Land yeah yeah had nothing to do with the game as far as I've ever played it but okay so well that's because no little dragon boys got bled in their throats slit yeah that was the most epic game of DD ever all right so well I mean is it going to be like an U ball style fantasy where Dolph lren gets sent back in time uh he's a Marine I think we've got our director y I think we've got our director U ball yeah for

sure that means we can lock down some bigname actors as well indeed indeed um which is Bert Reynolds for one reyn yeah Rebecca Deon all so we've got we've got B we've got Rebecca De um yeah any other big name actors he's worked with Man Who U Ball's worked with yeah oh we've got uh you got Rolan Perman you've got Jason stum well okay Ron's goingon to be in it he's going to be the bad guy ver Troyer yep can hus TR look if you guys are basing this on the uh on the cartoon series can I just remind you of of the car yeah of the characters children um so we've got a uh hunky long-haired blond man yep that's do y

and then we've got a dorky brunette guy as his like offsider Shu then there's there's Daphne from Scooby-Doo right that can be um uh what's what's itall it what's her name Rebecca De y okay then there's a foxy black chicken in fur mhm I think we all know only one foxy black chick so um you're not going to say who it is think it's Whitney Houston's ghost okay random okay good um then there's two little boys um a little blondhair Barbarian and a uh bumbling idiotic wizard all right uh and they're offsider if anyone remembers the unicorn baby unicorn yeah unicornus [ __ ] unicorn

unicorn there it is okay so we're going to have some bad we're going to have a bad CG unicorn this is not shaping up to be the best film ever um okay so we're going to do the whole day magically transported to the land of d and d and they have to complete um all the actual quests that are in the little quest guide book um y uh we should throw a spanner on the works though um at some point they lose the book um which was giving them a lot of inside information and they have to learn how to band together despite their differences to uh overcome adversity right that's a good that's good re I like that got a simple one two three act structure I think we're good to go with this I've put a little link there so you can have a look at uh want to see this picture Let's uh can we

opportunity yeah yeah yeah so Ukraine and um Russia go to war and it's basically uh Massacre yes however however they have one hope and that is milovich milovich who's the the the the ace helicopter pilot of oh oh no I've got this I wouldn't turn it into the last star fighter except with DCS black shark y so she plays this game and he's able to actually play it and finish it and because of that she gets taken off to fly a real DCS black shock yeah and then at the end when she's surrounded she hits a button and the helicopter
