think so for now for the moment they just upped their character count didn't they they did you can have uh 280 now characters I guess I don't know how many you could have before that is just the absolute personification of tldr it just means I can fit more hashtags when I post the podcast now so I I [ __ ] I [ __ ] hate Twitter I hate I hate social media in general but I just don't get it ah too long didn't read you didn't know what that meant I had to I had to Google a Happy Thanksgiving guys oh yeah thanks uh thanks Matt I'm thankful for you thankful for you as a friend and as a co-host of this podcast I appreciate that actually reminds me did you kill anyone while going shopping what you mean today no pushed an old lady out the way that's what we

did to the pilgrims is that what you're saying you mean today or just what we did to the Indians no one did anything to the pilgrims the pilgrims did [ __ ] and they did [ __ ] to each other yeah they did or maybe they didn't who knows I didn't I avoided that like the plague cuz I'm just not interested in lining up on the way home on uh on Thanksgiving Day so he's talking Black Friday listeners in case you don't know I assume you probably figured that out though well I guess that's what he's talking about is that what you're talking about Luke no just in general oh all right yeah just thought that's what you do now yep that well it is a requirement if you're going to enter Best Buy you do have to murder someone on the way in or in the parking

lot that's allegedly allegedly yeah you don't have to say allegedly if someone's already in prison for it that's a Serial reference for listeners in case you don't know what that meant from the only season that was good so on the way home on Thanksgiving it was uh it was around midnight and we drove past Walmart and there was already an enormous line around the car park of people waiting to get in at whatever time Walmart opens I I'm not sure Walmart ever closes actually so you just got yourself into a logic Loop there Matt yeah they must have closed specially for uh for setting up the deals or something cuz actually not sure 24hour shop closes just build the suspense I think so I think so is that Walmart Clos are 24 hours that one cles at 11 I've just been corrected

that Walmart does in in fact close some of them don't but that one does what happens to the ones that don't close just what the ones that don't close it's just at 1201 that just prices get cheap or something you know what I don't know so sucker to go there at 11:59 you would you be you have to check out and then you look up and you see this line you go ah [ __ ] I forgot no but you could be standing in the line long enough that the things get cheaper before you get to the counter it's true but let's back up a sec Matt for for those of us who don't live in the United States and therefore don't have Thanksgiving or Black Friday yes are the sales that good that you need to literally Riot for them apparently like I said I didn't I did not participate I was I'm not interested

in in fighting a crowd of people to save on something that I hadn't intended to buy in the first place so I I'm not sure I I believe that they are I think they do like stores will take like say they got like a big you know 60 in television so they'll get one of them and put some stupid cheap price on it but that's the one so yeah I from what I've heard and seen it's like if you're the first five people in the store you're going to get some really good deals but after that first people and you you manage to Sprint to the thing that's on sale and survive walking back to the register so it's like Aldi the first day of every month when they roll out a new catalog that's right yeah but from what I understand it is a bit crazy I I I just don't I don't think I'm I'm not going to

enjoy it so I uh I avoided it well isn't the big thing now Cyber Monday yes so that is tomorrow cyber sex all day I just call it Monday but uh no the so is tomorrow and apparently that is uh there's going to be some some good sales on right I don't even know about this what the [ __ ] is Cyber Monday it's basically another sale day it's just can't be so Friday is the inperson one and then Monday is the you're an idiot for going out on Friday you can just buy it all online for the same price send it to you and why is it Black Friday why is like that's a bad thing right I Black Friday uh do we out why is it called Black Friday no I Jenna told me yesterday she maybe it's because it's the darkest day of the year but I think

she's full of [ __ ] so I think she was just trying to shut me off I uh I read online that it's because that's where the the slave sales were on uh no but uh may or may not be true no that can't be true I'm sure there'd be a bit of a stink made out if that was the case I didn't didn't save any money well I did I bought uh something online that I saved money but I didn't leave the house cuz you know screw that I'll tell you one thing that's weird we've been getting Black Friday specials yeah right just in in store not in store I'm just on online I did notice the Black Friday sale yeah the Black Friday Xbox sale it started on Wednesday yep so you know and that we also have in Australia for some reason well you know take

advantage why not oh I did oh I did I bought Wolfenstein too I did not it was inevitable I suppose you do like that game I do I just hate Nazis I think that's that's all it is you're living in the wrong country [Laughter] then touche speaking of Nazis we do have some Nazi news oh we do have a jingle for that nine good answer no we've just uh got a little bit of news I mean this just made me chuckle this is a this is a white supremacist in the UK who was uh he was arrested for shouting racial abuse at a uh a black woman and her as you do black children yeah um and the judge sentenced

him to uh 18 months in jail right and uh his response were your honor you're a bit of a [ __ ] and uh to which the judge replied yeah you're a bit of a [ __ ] yourself he's not wrong no that's something that would happen in Australia yeah but it didn't it happened in England it that just be a casual conversation in Australia well that's that's all right which [ __ ] next see it happened in Australia you'd go you're okay in UK for a judge to say that that's crazy they don't say [ __ ] that's our word it's actually not that bad in in the UK either it is very bad here yeah there was there was three words that uh I was told uh one of the first times we went

to America by an American friend of ours that uh that you shouldn't say there gun control that's a it's a compound ball tonight L yeah he's good right yeah topical too thought you said you were sleepy I am I don't know what what's happening to this is dream luk dream Luke's taking over he's on autopilot what what were the words I know one of them and you're you're right in not saying that one don't say them wait wait who who I I I don't like the implication that there is a word that that we just were flinging around when we're over here unwittingly like wasn't unwittingly Matt you know the exact word no look we I was sat down by Mr Dave Capers and told to stop saying

Nick Cage news cuz then it would show up alphabetically yeah all right here we go well Nick Cage walked into the room and he asked of his manager is there any Nick Cage news Nick Cage's manager turned to Nick Cage and said of course there's Nick Cage news Nick Cage is the biggest movie star in the whole wide world and things are only going to get bigger now take a look at this script right here it's about a man made of wicker okay so I'll be honest there's not a lot of Nick Cage news uh and I had to really I had to really look had to really look uh but I did find this one article uh in the mirror which uh Nick Cage was out at a Tepanyaki restaurant uh in Los Angeles uh with krisen Glover uh he tried to he tried to pick up a

woman who was sitting there uh and then her husband came in h he was disgraced and crisen Glover had a good laugh so that's the news scandalous yeah um look my biggest takeaway from this is guys Nicholas Cage and Cris and Glover [ __ ] hang out yeah that is that is interesting I want to hang out with Nick Cage and Chris Glover can you imagine the the weird conversation that must come out of those two I can't even no chrisen Glover is one of my favorite ever interviewees cuz he's just weird yeah he's he's he's legitimately crazy and I love him in films too like I love watching him on screen yeah he's he's a good actor but

man I haven't seen him doing anything in a very long time he was in something American Gods then oh that's what he was in y that's right you should last we was baby face you could watch American Gods American Gods is quite good you should you should read the book If you haven't read the book the show's just okay he doesn't read Luke doesn't read oh is he in that yeah he is not the book he's in the he's in the show not the book I don't know if he's I don't know if he's in any books to be honest I mean surely he someone must mention him in a book how would we find out is that something Google's going to know is Christoph Glover mentioned in any books CH Clover mentioned in

in how does it end I don't want to spoil it for you I'm very sorry yeah you get covered in [ __ ] what nothing so so we got uh we got some geek of the week news this week no we don't we don't I'm already telling you it's he's done a geek and a week why he doesn't he doesn't he's not done nothing to earn geek and a week well he's achieved more than you have how many people have you murdered and smeared words on the wall with their blood well he hasn't technically murdered anyone either has he oh okay so you're in his Camp he's murdered at least one person I believe well theoretically he murdered at least one person like with his own hands yeah we're talking about Charles Manson who this week died

at the age of 83 of in quotes natural causes who knows what happened yeah he died in prison where he uh he was well there wasn't much chance of him leaving uh and I don't think he he didn't want to leave anyway cuz what the [ __ ] was he going to do so he doing what he loved being involved with death I'm not sure that is what he loved I think I think he wanted to be a rock star and then it all quickly spiral out of control I'm pretty sure that's step one learn guitar step two start cult and get them to murder people around Hollywood like I said Spar quickly out of control I guess he's the kind of the poster boy for for um drugs will make you do some crazy [ __ ] oh you reckon it was the drugs well I'm not sure it was

it was completely the drugs but I mean you know you know why the the people he killed got killed right like you know so I know that they lived in a house that used to be owned by someone that he didn't like exactly and and so the the the theory is yes the the house that uh Roman palansky and Sharon Tate lived in they were the they were murdered by his I guess cult members was owned by a producer who rejected him like a a a you know music producer who rejected uh Charlie Manson when he was younger and so the the theory is that perhaps either he thought the guy still lived there and they were trying to kill him which is unlikely because he actually went to the house and he knew that palansky lived there or he was trying to send that guy a message uh

or the other theory is that he had just talked about it and then the the girls and and the other people acted of their own volition cuz that's also he he claims in in a book uh the book yeah that's what he was saying that he had nothing to do with that you can't control those people yeah he just told them what had happened and they they just they just took care of it and then he kind of because he had this whole thing about Helter Skelter which he wrote on the wall uh in well no he didn't write it sorry uh I forget who wrote it one of the one of them wrote Helter Skelter on the wall of the Lanka's house because Helter Skelter was this thing Charles Manson told him about where there was going to be a race war and and the whites were going to

lose uh and then black people would take over the world and so Manson wanted everybody to go into the desert and hide because eventually Charlie Manson and his people could come out of the desert as the saviors of Humanity what does he know how to run well I don't think he got that far that is that is his plot as outlined in uh bios's book Helter Skelter he was the prosecutor in the case look I I think in light of all that I I think he is geek of the week Luke I think that's the geekiest [ __ ] plan I've ever heard so no dick of the week dick of the week dick of the week I think no matter what he like he he belonged in prison and I'm sure he himself several times admitted that he was in his in prison most of his

life and when he was out he didn't do much good so he uh so that does not give him geek no I know what you mean we don't have dick of the week do we we've got the dick we do dick of the week I uh I heard a New Zealand colleague of mine yelling the phrase all hands on deck today and just warmed the cockles of my heart cockles yeah Charles Manson's dead and I've noticed he will not be mourned he will not there's been a lot of uh I notic Marilyn Manson was getting mourned a little bit until people realized that's not who they meant yeah apparently some fools on social media were posting pictures of Marilyn Manson

being like can't believe it so young oh God yeah wrong person but yeah yeah they're having trouble apparently they they uh his family or some relatives of his uh Charles Manson this is uh started to gofund me to because you've got they had to claim his body within a certain amount of time I'm not sure if that's pass now but they were trying to raise money to just give him a burial and uh and the Gund me got shut down and oh wow yeah so burying him we're leaving him out there not a not a lot of love for Charlie Manson uh it seems there's not but I'd still like that body to be buried and not just left out if that's if that's the alternative I think they I guess they'll they'll just prison create him or something like that instead and

and there is that whole thing of uh you know like they they burned Hitler and Scattered his ashes is somewhere secret so that people couldn't kind of congregate at his grave there was that whole thing so there probably a bit of that going on they just want the guy gone and let the cuz there's definitely some bad mojo surrounding Mr Manson so H yep all right well I know you're a fan Matt so you must be uh must be a little disappointed f i find him interesting from uh from a how much money did you give to the GoFundMe I gave zero money to the GoFundMe I can't give money to down that's because yeah yeah it only pays off if you uh if you make the the goal no I don't think go for me I think you just get the money no matter what oh

[Music] so we've talked about how Luke's into the Flat Earth theory of the world yep yeah he is well into it are you a Believer yet Luke no just it's a stupid thing to believe just keeping your mind open God it is interesting so you you love flat earthers like Matt loves Marilyn Marilyn Manson for [ __ ] sake now I'm exactly well Flat Earth believer Mike Hughes uh had a plan this weekend he was going to launch himself in a self-made rocket up uh 1.5 km I believe I say he's going to travel 1.5 I don't know how high he's planning to go but he was

going to Sho launch himself up take some photos of the disc and and then prove it to everyone sorry the the disc being Earth the dis being Earth yeah yeah all flat earthers believe it's a disc uh I believe well either he does or the the article the author of this article believes that's what he believes so he had planned to do that yesterday the 25th of November uh however a spanner has been thrown in the works because the government the local government in uh I think he's in Nevada let me let me pull up I think he's in California actually he's in a uh he's in a little off-grid uh oh he's in the majave desert yeah amb booy that's why I'm confy California the uh yeah the the local Bureau of Land Management have said no

you're not allowed to do that on public land you didn't get a permit and so they've they've no doubt that he believes that probably a conspiracy to uh to hide the fact that the Earth's flat uh he he says he's still going to shut the door on this ball Earth and uh and he's going to prove he's just going to do it I guess later this week on private property so we'll keep an eye for that I like the fact he sort of built this thing based off the fact a year ago someone told him inally that yeah sure you can do it he's got a YouTube channel so apparently the whole thing will be on on his YouTube channel that's why I was hoping to uh to follow it uh and see what happened cuz he's probably going to die let's be honest yeah yeah like there's no way

have you you've seen this rocket this rocket does not look safe he this before it's steampowered it's not going to get the ground high enough to do any Dage in 2014 he launched himself in another rocket that he made he traveled 420 M uh and collapsed that's not 420 M up no he just launched himself 420 M at a speed that that basically incapacitated him it took him 3 Days To recover so I'm not sure how he thinks this is going to go oh here we go he's going to reach an altitude of about about 550 M before he opens two parachutes so how's heing lower than how's fllying lower than an airplane going to prove that the Earth's flat I have no

idea I I'm confused by this cuz he could seriously hire a helicopter and go that far but even if he made it into all like you you're still going to be looking at Earth right with the 2D perspective that our eyes have right mhm like if he believes it's a disc it's still going to look round when he's up there I'm not sure what he's expecting to see he says I don't believe in science I know about aerodynamics I know about aerodynamics rock at the word yeah so he's an astrophysicist no no no he says I don't believe in science I know about aerodynamics and fluid dynamics and how things move through air and about the certain size of Rocket nozzles and thrust that's not science so science that's just formulas there's no difference between

science and science fiction oh God so I think I'm not sure he knows what he believes yeah so his Rocket's very nice though yeah it's going to be a very nice thing to explode in yeah well research Flat Earth I like I like how he's got the little arrows pointing at research like in case you didn't yeah like this is this is what we do here at the if he doesn't believe in science surely doesn't believe in research he's a 61y old limousine driver his rocket cost him $20,000 us to build that's not bad I think he also holds the Guinness World Record for fast fastest highest or longest jump in a limousine really yeah I didn't know that well we couldn't

take couldn't take a couple photos while he was he was maybe that's what got him started he launched his limousine up took a look out and went wait a minute that's looked pretty flat from up here what is it that Luke always talks about the measurable curve yeah yep like Luke always talks about it constantly going on about that shut up about the bloody curve I'm trying to find out how high helicopters can go hash show me the curve feet to met oh [ __ ] I got no idea feet to meters you know what I was trying to make um I was making margaritas last night cuz we we went and saw Coco and had how many meters of Margarita did you make and it go no well all the all the

instructions I bought a book like a a pretty cool cocktail book and uh but it's all in ounces and it actually means nothing to me so I was at the [ __ ] an ounce well it's fluid ERS it's it's just how they measure things here it's like the empirical version of milliters all right and so I'm looking at this thing and it's like I need lime juice but like I I don't know what 2 O of lime juice looks like so Jesus honest to God Matt and I'm not being vicious I thought ounce was an old timey measurement no what's written on everything here wow two o I'm looking at uh what's this what do you get your milk in oun or or gallons or whatever right I'm looking at a a chapstick it's a BS bees chapstick right lip balm this

contains two balms why do you have that because it's [ __ ] cold and my lips get chapped okay 0.15 ounces everything everything's anoun okay um helicopters can fly 7,000 M into the air so he could just rent a helicopter yes well there you go but he probably doesn't trust him he wants to build his own thing well it's still himing the photo so yeah but maybe he's taking photos of I don't know maybe thinks they're going to put him on a Sound Stage or something well I'm not saying it makes any sense but I'm not sure anything that they believe makes sense so well anyway my Hughes is probably going to be geek of the week next week after he explodes keep give him geek of the week if he lives or if he dies does that

make him more or less a geek of the week well he's got to be dead obviously yeah he's got to get geek of the week you have to die yeah because I'll remind you guys though that geek of the week didn't start with dead people we gave it to one dead person and then that became a thing yeah one celebrity died of AIDS and suddenly geek of the week took on a whole new form well who knows what the first if you remember the first geek of the week was does anyone remember the first no no first geek of the week was that kid that edited himself interviewing Steven Spielberg um there was an interview Steven Spielberg did about the Holocaust and made it seem like Spielberg was giving him a job interview and then he sent that to DreamWorks as his application and St Spielberg came

out and said that is not okay and you will never work for any company I'm affiliated with geek of the week and then that kid got molested and then he died of AIDS [ __ ] Holly good so uh did you see this uh the Tesla semi yeah I did my God that thing is beautiful I get I get a Tesla semi anytime I watch Elon Musk [ __ ] Elon Musk is geek of the geek of the decade I I was going to say Century but I'm like H we'll see how long he sticks around but uh he's doing some cool [ __ ] and this this truck cool [ __ ] yeah I like Elon Musk this truck uh this truck looks sick so what I love about El musk and the Tesla Series is that he he knows it's awesome you know yeah I know he's

like a kid yeah he's just absolutely like but he's not trying to overhype like uh like like Tim Cook does with apple right whenever he's announcing a new product I know like he just comes out and just says look at this [ __ ] truck yeah look at this [ __ ] thing we made it's awesome and you know it's awesome yeah we all know it's awesome yeah and then and he's like here's all the questions that you want to know about it and here's the awesome answers that's right yeah how fast is it that's what you want to know cuz I started watching it and then I just couldn't stop it just it was so interesting yeah he's got like an infectious kind of energy about him because he's you can tell he's like super into it like but he's also super

into it then he also comes across as nervous at the same time yes he's got a very nervous disposition he's not a great public speaker no but he well he's not but he is because he's he seems very genuine and people have said that he's cuz you know like with his Mars thing he did gave an interview he's like oh we'd be in Mars by the end of you know the Cent but the the decade or whatever and everyone's like oh my God it's like yeah but he's he's just like excited and he's talking like he's kind of quite genuine about it like it probably won't happen but but he's but you know he's going to try his absolute hardest to make that y it's his life goal is to get people on Mars we need to get we need to get you two together Luke you and El musk love to see you interact look on

Elon musk's face you'd go for him what do you mean by that I bet I would go to Mars for him right okay if he needed someone he asked you he was like look need someone to go he like look we've got the technology I just I just need someone can't find a single person who wants to go to Mars well we got you covered speaking of a single person going to Mars Luke have we asked your wife if she's okay with you going and dying on Mars I don't think we have we might I might need to run that pasta does she know about this this you know uh scheme of ours she must have you kept this from her I think I've kept it from her interesting okay well in a new segment that we've got called uh revealing Secrets we've kept from our spouses um

that's Luke's he's uh he's going on a oneway trip to die in the deserts of Mars they just found out that what they thought was Liquid liquid water on Mars is probably just sand so well I'm still not there's only outside I think you'll find no I'm just going to stay inside whatever thing they build me to live in yeah for some reason no one no one's bothered first one there so you'll have to build whatever it is or you better hope that whatever you fly there on is also to our house yeah I'm hoping for that cuz I'm not going outside just got to look out the window yeah so just normal life for you then yeah yeah exactly you know I could just put red cellophane over the glass in your house and you wouldn't know the

difference you just think you've already gotten to Mars yep I'd be fine with that and then you just play your Xbox hey this uh this is a quick quick uh funny news this laugh uh Lincoln Park uh which is a band I like uh they won an American Music Award this this past week got up on stage accepted the award uh headed off the stage to back you know backstage to make their way back to the seats security said who are you punks and threw them [Laughter] out so uh yeah look to be fair they're looking a little bit Square these days so maybe they didn't look like musicians I will say though I'm so behind on popular music that I I haven't heard of a single one of the bands that they were up against in this category other than Lincoln

you know how occasionally DC will put out an animated movie and it's like it's not part of the main Cannon it's just a little story and it's all it's always something dumb like Batman and Superman team up to fight an alien from out of space right that's that's what this feels like in fact that is the plot of this movie and oh God yeah it it it's so and I think somebody must have said look Batman v Superman had too much plot there was just too much going on so just strip that [ __ ] back yeah yeah and can I just say as as an like please please Hollywood okay stop making movies that look like video games just

stop stop the Zack schn look we've seen it yeah horrible this movie takes Zack Snider to 11 there's scenes where it's just people standing around having a chat with fully rendered CGI backgrounds it's completely unnecessary well I I think the reason for that is the scenes where people are standing around talking were all directed by Jos Weeden and they didn't give him any money so it had to be shot on a blue screen but he was like we need something in this room well the you can really tell the scenes that are shot that were done by Weeden and the ones weren't for starters the characters change Affleck puts on and loses about 20 kilos in this movie and ages about 10 years around the eyes right I've seen uh some screen grabs of of Superman's cged

off mustache which looks [ __ ] awful oh my God it's it's in the first shot of the movie God and you're like what why would you put it there why would you why would you start with this why would you open with that for those who don't know Henry caval had to grow a mustache for a film he was working on when they called him back in to do the re-shoot and they were like you know what we'll just CGI it off yeah yeah cuz that works great they couldn't come to some kind of deal where they would pay for the fake mustache that he could wear in Mission Impossible 5 yeah [ __ ] hell no guys look it's is it is it it and I know we have a different you and I have a different

opinion of Wonder Woman than than the rest of the world seems to but is it better than Wonder Woman No it's not better than Wonder Woman and it's not quite as good as Batman versus Superman oh my God are you kidding me but it does have some good things about it but the problem is it's Jos Sweden trying to make Zack Snider movie right so you can tell and you can tell the studio is holding him back too going no no no don't make it too they would G him free R he's done no press for this he won't even talk about it the only thing he's done which pissed everybody off was he liked a tweet where someone said steepen wolf is the worst worst comic book villain ever Jos Sweden liked the tweet and then the fans were like [ __ ] you you [ __ ] ruin Zach s's

Masterpiece yeah people out there want the Zack Snider relas to come out the internet is Bing for it now but I I doub I don't even think one exists though he doesn't he hadn't finished it because apparently the scenes in the trailer the original trailers the scenes that take place at night that in the final film have been CGI into daytime correct because correct it was just too [ __ ] oppressive well I'm I'm that's a little bit no you're absolutely right it's because I think Snider was trying to make it because Zack Snider thinks he's Christopher Nolan right sure so he thinks he's making this really dark movie by just making it literally dark you know like all the Char all the the costumes really

desaturated and like lots of just black and lightning um and Jos Weeden obviously came in and went no no no I'd make the Avengers so I'll make it look more like that and just brightened everything up right yeah yeah to the point where look and and I don't normally come down on the side of Zack Snider right but in this case I've got to say just just keep making the movie he was going to make because now it's just a hybrid of the two and it's nothing even right down to the fact that Batman suit I I've I've said on this podcast before I I really love the look of the Batman suit the Ben right when it's dark it looks good in broad daylight it looks [ __ ] stupid when you can see all the details that just catch the Light when it's in a

really dim Moody environment it looks great when you can see all those clear as day it's like the [ __ ] is that yeah so look honest honestly guys it's not it's not a terrible movie it didn't it's not so bad it insulted my intelligence what you want it's just it just is and I'm going to forget about it and honestly if you asked me a series of detailed questions about like what the the the super objective of the bad guy was I wouldn't be able to tell you you know what I mean like now is it this time does it end when it should end or does it keep going it ends when it should end because they had a mandate of not making this movie more than two hours the studio said they would not release it if it was over 2 hours so it

is um 1 hour and 59 minutes long okay I'm going to go see it this week I think it is uh so far the most disappointing release that they've had like DC even hit 100 million it's yeah so they're definitely paying the price for the failures of the others or sorry I don't want to piss anybody off the the the critical failures of the others guys I'll say this it's people love these movies it's better than Suicide Squad well one would hope yeah so it sits just behind Wonder Woman and just ahead of Suicide Squad but you liked Batman versus Superman did you not I enjoyed it the first time because I kind of put the blinders on and just clapped

along at Batman and Superman being on screen together um and I couldn't make it through a second viewing okay cuz it's terrible really was so are they going to stop soon cuz Affleck wants out yeah in fact they've already appar said so now apparently they've got replac [Music] apparently they've already they've already decided that Jake Gyllenhaal will replace him if he if he does baale so I like Jake gal yeah I like Jake Gyllenhaal too I watched uh we watched zodiac oh just thought about something weird though Jake Gyllenhaal will have played Batman and Maggie Gyllenhaal his sister will have played Rachel Batman's girlfriend that that is odd yeah yeah I watched in uh zodiac just the other day he's very good

in that and I uh have you seen is it uh was it night crawler the one where he's the camera he becomes a cameraman because he just I think you're thinking of Prince of Persia definitely not thinking of Prince of Prince of Persia no I haven't seen he's [ __ ] creepy in that it's a really good movie yeah all right I'll put that on my list I did want to see that actually it's very good he's he's [ __ ] creepy as hell in that he's he's good I like him he I it's not it's not Ben Affleck that needs to be replaced here it's literally everyone at the studio you know well I think that's probably why he if if if I was Ben Affleck at this point I'd be like you know what this is not what I wanted yeah that's right especially when he became Batman when he became Batman

when he signed on to do Batman it was under the provisor that he'd do the shitty Batman v Superman and the Justice League and then he would get to write and direct his own Batman movie like and remember when he said like I'm only going to do it if it's good yeah and then he went I'm not doing it yep and then the studio was like look this is not the Batman you wanted but it is the Batman we've got for you right now right now so it's the Batman you deserve the Batman you deserve I saw a very good movie last night uh but before I talk about that I want to talk about a prize that we're giving away o and this competition is open to anyone in the United States sorry Luke we went to Pax unplugged the other

painted skeleton like skulls skull exactly right yes it's [ __ ] awesome it's really cool yeah it looks good uh I recommend you check it out I watched three movies back to back Jesus all right porks what pork's 2 right and pork's Revenge what wow you made the time to sit and watch three Porky movies yep they are great movies I don't know I was playing some crappy game on the computer and I just had po he's playing on the other monitor what game are you playing should we not say cuz this is not the best review oh I was playing like Microsoft Bingo then Microsoft jackpot and then

M all right just playing mindless games while I was watching pork okay so how does porkys hold up 30 years on well it's something that's very weird they tried to take on Race back then like the the there's a whole thing about where in the second movie there's an Indian who's going to play character Romeo in the play school play and he's going to kiss a white girl and there's a whole thing about how the town's against that and they sort of come to the guy's Aid and he gets to play Romeo it's okay strange there's a bit more to it than just here a tits there are tits yeah yeah well that was the point of the film I think apart from the subversive uh you know the subversive race stuff it was also tits

tits which why else would you watch the movie so how many stars would you give each of the films which was which was the best of them the best one was the first one M mhm I'd give that one four often that way four stars four out of what four yeah this five yeah wow that's more than more than a Billy Corgan album the next two were threes okay three star still very good still an excellent rating yep what would you give Batman versus Superman just for context one all right I hated that movie it never ended and what would you give rootch rootch well once that movie comes out no I mean the TV series is fine the TV series that's a five that TV series taught me about death oh good taught me how to deal with death and it taught me

that it's nice to have a girlfriend right it's even nice you've got two girls who want you oh at the same time speaking of two girls at the same time uh Blade Runner 2049 uh go the bathroom during a scene no no there's a scene there's a scene [Music] did you got to with two girls no no no this the scene when when when Joy hires the girl to come around and then they okay sure one girl one hologram okay yeah okay yeah anyway but there wasn't never mind go on okay it's not the best segue fine Blade Runner 249 my favorite film of the

year uh is a flop basically yeah unfortunately was always going to be well I guess maybe they thought it it might do well uh it did not and um Deni villanu the director says he thinks it's because it was too long and 2 hours 43 minutes is is too much to ask of people yeah poor because honestly it's a great movie he's done well like he's done really well it's [ __ ] excellent I have something about people saying it's too long though if I'm going to go see a movie I've never paid any attention to how long it is before I go to see it is that something people do they do yeah people will often ask me how long a

film is before we go okay I've just never you're the Usher at the cinema no no no because I'm the one that's always like can we go see a [ __ ] movie please I need and they're like how long cuz you yeah how long do I have to sit next to you you always make us see [ __ ] long movies like Batman v Superman yeah oh Jenna has refused to watch Justice League for the record I'm going by myself at some point well for the record I uh I went to Italy oh did you yeah yeah was it a good trip to Italy I went several times to Italy at once so that I could see which of my Italian

holidays uh had the nicest audio and sound sound and picture quality um yep I found one collapsing I found one with excellent sound and pretty good picture quality and so I took that particular trip people are going to ride in now and say of course it didn't look good you watched it on [ __ ] Italy yeah my well there yeah let me just say then in in in response to that before it starts I I could have lived with the Zack Schneider [ __ ] way of shooting if it had actually been a good movie so shut up so yeah sadly Blade Runner 249 was not a box office success in fact it was it a pretty big failure and uh there

probably won't be another one not one didn't do well at the the first one didn't do well at the cinema did it no it uh did very well later on DVD and and whatnot so we'll see Reon it'll be the same here they've already got their money back maybe they'll make another one in 30 years time hey I'll I'll be there to watch it hopefully Harrison won't be this is his second last movie his penultimate movie mhm however uh Denny villanu it's the second time I've tried to say his name today uh he is in talks to direct a new Bond film interesting yeah that's interesting I'd see it yeah I haven't disliked any of Denny movies yet so no lay it on me but he hasn't done a lot of action like kind of but not really like Blade Runner 2049 doesn't have a lot of action in it

yeah but you know what it's gotten to the point where the action the most boring part of a James Bond movie yeah true and I think if he wants to in a more psychological way that's fine yeah actually that's I completely agree that's a very good I'll be for that ride yeah but before that I don't like the bomb movies these days well that's why he's going to mix them up he's going to change it they got away from the they if he goes back to the formula chase scene cool Gadget stuff Luke stopped watching mate did you watch Spectre um which one was that one the latest one because that piece of [ __ ] movie is probably something you'd enjoy oh no I haven't no seriously Luke the gadgets are back the dumb action set pieces are back that's what that's what

we want one line is the back it's what you want you should watch it then actually I want the cool Gadget stuff and I don't want him to be raping look Luke set up the iring board to find that line in spect please play the jingle cuz I need Luke to review [Music] Spectre here we go bad Bo bad Bo what you going to do what you going to do look Rie Spectre all right I will go to Italy and I will watch Spectre right the next week do it the next week yeah and I'd be very interested to it Luke because based on what we've talked about I think this one might be along the lines of what you what you want from

a James Bond movie okay yeah just yep gadgets that's all I watch for well there's gadgets before he does that Denny is doing Dune so that's something to be excited about I'm interested to see his take on I tried to read that Series so many times I could not get into no I just read the first one first one yeah I've only read the first one also but I mean the first one is a [ __ ] long book so yeah oh yeah so much detail yeah yeah I don't care about that detail that's such a weak complain i' I'm like I hear that from people when a book is like too descriptive people are like I didn't need to know about all that don't yeah you you wanted the cliff notes of the book I [Laughter]

guess y it's all about making me happy yeah well now you don't have to get every detail because you can just watch the movie speaking of making Luke happy is Patrick shart going to be in it have you seen the new Rampage trailer Luke yes I have it looks pretty [ __ ] awesome except that's one thing I'm having a hard time they're not scientists have been turned into giant things no it's aliens yeah no they're not aliens they're animals that have turned into Dr yeah sorry yeah but the the the thing crashes to earth right it's an alien thing isn't that oh I'm guessing from the trailer I think it's human created oh you do all right well then fair enough well so they're not scientists that turned into monsters is that what you're saying yes yeah okay gotcha cuz that's

what Rampage is not anymore cuz maybe remember when you used to die in a game you would shrink that back down to your little scientist dude and sort of edge off the screen naked I don't believe in science I believe in gorillas wolves and crocodiles that's not science that's just animals can the name how long can a name of a podcast be I guess as long as we want you want that to be the name yeah dud yeah it's that's not science that's just animals all right yeah done so do you remember earlier in the year it had come out that there was going to be a rampage movie and we were all very excited about it only to find that it was not Rampage the video game finally being adapted into a

film but just a new film with the name Rampage right yeah except it is that now yes so I I think that somebody was sitting at a desk and like [ __ ] yeah Rampage watched it and went oh and then thought well [ __ ] it I'm a Hollywood executive I'm going to stop molesting someone for 5 seconds and um I'll green light the Rampage movie yeah well I'm glad they did because this trailer looks tops I don't yeah I mean it looks [ __ ] stupid but it looks it looks great it's from the director of San Andreas another another top movie staring The Rock's getting a lot of work lately last years do with that I love I love how Luke is so concerned with how much work just the rock no not just the rock he's never not working [ __ ] the rock

is just always in doing stuff like he never stops worry about him you know yeah yeah take a break Dwayne take a break relax but yeah this film looks great the rock stars as a guy who's a friend who's friends with a gorilla a albino gorilla mhm and then he speaks to it through sign language so they've stolen that from Congo but uh that's fine and then that's all right um Congo did steal that from actual experiments they did with gorillas okay all right fair enough well I don't believe in science I believe in Congo I believe in gorillas and I believe in Sign Language Congo is not science that's Michael kryon and uh yeah his his gorilla friend encounters some [ __ ] thing that crashes to Earth that turns him into a giant monster and then they and then he

and a a wolf that also turns into a giant monster and a crocodile that turns into a giant monster smash the city now my theory of how this movie will go is the giant ape will save the day then get shot and killed so it's King Kong except he didn't save the day yeah he just took F to top of a building y I reckon yep there'll be a moment and then yep the giant ape will save the Rock from a giant crocodile and then it'll die eventually until they pitched it what's this film oh there's a giant gorilla saves the Rock from a giant crocodile [ __ ] take our money take our money stop molesting that boy and take this money and make the movie which boy look I'm not saying that Brad Payton director of uh Rampage is a mining boy

hungry pedophile as Dave would have called him um but he is quite a prolific director I'm looking at his filmography and in the last five years prerequisite now he's made like 20 movies none of which I've heard of so he's got to be dling somebody they're all dling somebody I think that's what we've learned yeah so he's made uh bad luck a tale of bad luck what's it like being alone suck cats and dogs the Revenge of Kitty Galore Journey 2 Republic of o Dr Dimension pants Pilot's passage San Andreas incarnate Frontier and now Rampage next up the only one I've heard of is San Andreas well next up he's got the San Andreas Sequel and Journey 3 huh he's doing all right I have no
