Make Luke Jealous: Xbox One X Reveal & Wonder Woman Review

[Music] welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy I um I hate you uhhuh that's that's how I want to start off this week just saying I I I truly do hate you okay well I mean that's nothing new not really no but care elaborate on that um mainly the fact that you started a campaign for #m luk jealous where you sent me photos for an entire week of you enjoying E3 oh that yeah just that so you didn't like that no no huh well I'm sorry that's that's a bit awkward I'm

sorry yeah it it worked it did make me very very jealous and I want to go it also if you recall continued past E31 we uh when we went to Disneyland and saw some other stuff that would make you jealous yeah just the guidings of the Galaxy ride and yeah all this stuff I'm not going to get to go to for a long time the Star Wars museum at uh at Disneyland as well which that was awesome that was empty oh yeah I know I which is weird because the park was not I assure you ah it's just I guess no one's uh no one's interested in Star Wars anymore for some reason and we also got toet meet chwaca and Darth Vader what well we were in the Star Wars

museum at Disneyland yeah and we're just so used to after E3 that's the other thing now lines at Disneyland are not a problem after standing in line for like 2 3 hours for things at E3 I can line up for anything now I'm good like no problem so we went into the Star Wars Museum there's no line or anything looking around y it's called the Star Wars launch bay uh and we went in and there was a line for something we didn't really know what it was but we're just so used to lines we're like well let's got line let's see what it is and we got to the front and then the girl the you know the Disney employee the cast member at the front was like all right you excited and I was like yeah what am I doing what and she goes oh to meet chewy

what did you meet chew bucka or did you meet Peter Mayu chwaca no so we got in there and it was yeah this this photographic evidence but it was like oh we felt a bit silly uh yeah yeah when you said you sort of met shaca I actually thought you met pet Mayu and that just chewaka yes yes uh it's uh intended for children I believe yes yes but then after that it's like sort of Mickey meeting Mickey well except cooler and then after that we uh intentionally lined up to meet Darth Vader because that was cool so haen Christensen no no the real Darth Vader oh David prow no no no no the real not

an actor the real Darth Vader um Sebastian Shaw H you're not quite getting it no it was it was not an actor Luke it was it was the real Darth Vader Oh I thought he died a long time ago in a galaxy far far away maybe yeah that's a good point I didn't ask those history documentaries yeah I didn't want to ask seemed a bit awkward so I just let it go well I apologize for our campaign uh well actually I don't apologize it was entertaining tell me more about E3 when you want to know there's so much to tell we're going to do like there's a whole episode Jen and I are going to do about it so I mean if I just waffle on it's kind of pointless because we're going to talk about it but is there something you

want to know about and bear in mind actually there's so much content streamed and online and everything that I couldn't I just haven't had time to look at we we're trying to get through everything yesterday when we got back that you might know more than I do about some things E3 is Wast than you I should be there what are you talking about the E E3 is I don't want to get into like the nuts and bolts of these things but it's it's actually probably not what people think it is and a lot of people disappointed like cuz you know they sold uh general public tickets as well this year yeah and people just think it's totally games well no they think it's PS or some other con when it's not it's a

trade show and it's like there's no game there's not like stuff to do other than wait in L and he's lots of it's no in fact this was the first year they've had vendors and there were like oh a few stores like they don't normally have that and and they did this time but people were complaining because there weren't enough of them and also the people W like there wasn't there weren't enough giveaways there weren't enough this there weren't enough that it's like well that's not what it is to play Wolfenstein to The New Colossus we waited in line for about 2 hours and so really to do stuff that's

you you're just waiting to to do things that's basically what it is you can walk around and and that's why I'm saying like all of this uh stuff like because they did the Xbox daily which we we saw one of the Xbox daily recordings we saw uh we saw them recording IGN we saw them recording stuff at Gamespot um but to actually sit down and watch all that and get all the content and all the interviews and that kind of thing you can't do it while you're there well I actually was lucky enough that I watched most of the the the press conferences yeah right cool so I got to enjoy a lot of them yeah cuz they're not even at the A3 technically anymore they took sort of just before it type of thing right we got there sadly the day after Bethesda land which is apparently epic so I was

disappointed about that they also had Bethesda land in Australia as well yeah at lunar park right yeah I saw Nate was there yeah yeah yeah I S that's why I was confused at first and then I was like oh also jealous of Nate there you go you're rubbing in my face Nate tring in my face I just missed out on it all the fun maybe we should leave the house sometimes you take that back I'm sorry all right so what do you want achievements what do you want to ask me about maybe is a better way to do it because then otherwise I'm just going to say things that that people hear Xbox x yes Xbox One X saw it yeah I saw it Xbox One X yeah yep I've seen it said hello in what context I think well uh physically I think it's uh super hot it's

like it's small will your penis fit in it no but it's pretty small so maybe not uh it's the smallest Xbox ever it's uh oh ever wow yeah it's like physically the smallest Xbox ever it's I was surprised by how small it looks like a the original PlayStation 2 around that size okay oh wow that's yeah I thought it was still cuz from what I've seen in the pictures I thought it was still like the same width I thought it was just like shorter um oh it's pretty small uh like it's definitely cuz do you have an Xbox One S or do you only have a original I've only we've only have got original xbo I've only got two Originals yeah okay like it's way smaller like it is it is literally the the smallest Xbox that's what major Nelson kept saying

it's like now what did you think about it like from the specs or like it looks amazing like the 4k on a on a nice screen looks fantastic yeah and other than that the experience is the same like it's the same as far as I'm aware exactly the same board um even the the plugs on the back I saw maor Nelson explain exactly the same yep so you can sit it on top and just swap them in like just plug plug plug plug plug plug plug plug and there you go you're in it's it's the new one I'm going to say something that might make you might shock you a little all right I wasn't too excited about it really what that um well the big thing that I was actually looking forward to and I knew they weren't going to talk about it was the VR side

right right yeah there was a surprising complete lack of that yeah no they actually came out and said early look we're not going to discuss that at all I think they're trying to focus on VR and the actual PCS but when they announced it they were saying VR on the Xbox which theyve gone quiet on uh like Sony had a whole section about VR and Bethesda had a whole booth for Bethesda VR because we've got um Doom coming out VR we got Fallout 4 and Skyrim um and they're all as far as I'm aware all on PlayStation the Doom one might not be but but the well the only confirmed one for Skyrim as far as I know at this point the only one I saw footage of is uh is the PlayStation one so yeah and it' be I would be weird if it it well the Xbox One X is more powerful than the

PS4 Pro so it would be weird if if it wasn't on that as well there no reason not to I want to buy I want to get mhm but I don't want to I was hoping they' announce sort of something about what it's going to be compatible with cuz I don't want to go out and spend $1,000 on a VR headset now cuz I can use it with my computer and find out it's not going to work with the Xbox yeah you want one that will do both ideally yeah CU I want to get like the HTC VI y but so I'm in the waiting stage cuz I had to deal with oculus at some point right when they saying there was no well I think they were saying Oculus but then um cuz when they announced it Bethesda said like Fallout VR on the Xbox right and Bethesda has a big thing with the

Vive yeah right yeah good point but I really the V whole VR thing they just need to stop competing against each other just make it make it make it good anyway but yeah that that's and the other thing is like with it's going to look beautiful in 4k and everything yeah I don't own a 4K television no no well you bet you will right not before I get the Xbox though okay see I've got to uh I basically got to refurnish my whole house when I eventually have one so I'll just get one so that's all fine although I might sort of swap out the television I've got in my game room with the one in the lounge room and then buy 4K F loung room yeah right well it looks amazing like I got a shock of a price though uh in which direction cheap cheaper than what I

thought it was going to be yeah it's I remember the 360 was was like 800 and something when it came out that's Australian uh yeah yeah yeah that's what I I was thinking I was honestly thinking about 800 here this one but not 650 that's good and that's from the Xbox the Microsoft store like their online store yeah right so that's not even like shopping around like a JB highi or something to look for cheaper so that's cool yeah it's a it's vapor like liquid cooled it seem Vapor but like liquid cool that's why it's so small um and also a neat little thing that they mentioned it's um there's no venting on the top of the bottom so you can stack things it's all vented air comes in the sides and out the back so you can um stack it but then that kind of means you

can't put it next to things so either way it I don't know whatever you really no matter what you do you shouldn't be stacking anything or putting anything around your consoles that's what I was thinking too when they were saying this I was like don't encourage people to do that like like you don't want this thing over overheating and dying just put it give it some space never you need space between consoles PCS anything you need to give that Breathing Room Mount them on the wall there's a wall mount company we're going to talk about on the other podcast so have a listen to that yourself some wall mounts they look good they do I have seen it before and when I get my own place I am going to be mounting stuff yeah I bet you

are so for that one was for Chilla 7 I was actually thinking I wasn't going to get like the Xbox One X on day one but one of my Xboxes is on its way out a little bit like one of the USB ports is died what wasn't one of your Xboxes making a horrible noise at some point oh that went away oh okay the Xbox went away or the noise went away the noise went away it was the power brick Jesus all right the noise went away okay good but yeah but one one USB drive died so I think I will get it day one swap that one out cuz I always have to have two yeah in case one breaks I need a back up there yeah cuz achievements that's right cuz I think I've probably got more achievements this week than you have all year yeah that's highly likely I went from 400,000 last week I'm

now 4,380 something no 43 380 I've got 3,000 this week [ __ ] hell yeah well see when I get to play I just play I don't I don't worry about achievements oh um that's another thing they announced is a new Xbox avatars overhaul which looks really cool it just we didn't really get to see how it works did you see that I saw something about it but I haven't had a look at it it's just a video at this point um I don't know how many I mean maybe they announce more details online but all I've seen is a video and it looks really awesome like the the new avatars look cool and it looks like you can customize everything but it didn't really get into the nuts and bolts of

how it works and and that but we get it in uh fall this year yeah so it'll probably come out in um the preview program so I can give you a little bit of let you know how it is before you get it make a video of it I will good what about uh backwards compatibility for the original Xbox games yeah that's pretty interesting I guess it's got the power to do it well clearly well yeah it's just I think it's an interesting choice I mean if they can why not uh I don't know how popular those games are going to be given that they're going to look like poop on a 4K TV well they're saying they're going to look better yeah yeah well I'm sure they'll do their best but yeah the emulator will actually make them look better in in air quotes I don't know I just can't think of my

actually no I've got my robot Tech games I wouldn't mind playing again oh man what's an original Xbox game that I would I mean cotor was was awesome and but you play it on the PC some of the old burnouts or something like that maybe they need to make a new one of those I didn't see one I didn't see anything like that at E3 what night Republic no no no like uh an old burn a new burnout we talked about this before see I really wish they would go back to like the burnout like the Burnout Revenge one where it's just like the the crashing yeah the last one that that was Burnout Paradise and I didn't like that open world yeah I saw the uh at EA play not at E3 cuz EA doesn't participate in E3 anymore except they did in that they

were at the Xbox presentation with with Anthem but uh I saw the EA play event they announced that you need for Speed game it looked cool it looks like a cool I will get it I do enjoy them they're a bit of fun but it's not that's not quite what I mean I want the just the crash mode basically yeah we talked about it before crash mode is fun did you see the anthem stuff I was so disappointed that it wasn't there it's not ready to play apparently it's to me Anthem looks like a cross between Destiny and what was that other the division yeah and I'm not looking forward to it I am it looks cool to me like I I think

I'll get it I'll play through the story yeah you get those sweet achievements and then you'll abandon it yeah I just I don't go well with the whole MMO thing yeah fair enough like just playing stuff over and over and over just to get better armor and stuff but I don't get it yeah fair enough the grind yeah I don't know I've had people compare it to um the division but to me I don't know why people aren't comparing it to Destiny yeah it look a lot like Destiny to me as well very similar like you're in a you're trapped inside the walls of a city and then you go out and Yeah do stuff yeah yeah no I agree I think well it LO it looked like it didn't have that uh you know with Destiny you kind of

choose a destination and then you go to an open world it seemed like you just leave and you're in the open world which is nitpicking but like it's a little different in that sense I just don't know how how many games you can have in that genre um I guess infinite at this point I know you can have infinite but I don't know to me you get if you get too many like AAA then they're competing against each other and then they all just die I know I although you could I guess most genres it's the same like how many shooters can you have how many you know like we've got was it now Call of Duty World War II and I I mean it looks nice but I mean it looks the same as any all the others to me like yeah I couldn't believe the line for it cuz I was I mean mean no offense to them

no offense Activision it looks nice but I just didn't I was like I'm not lining up for that people love Cod I like playing the single player yeah oh yeah I'm sure that I'm sure it's fun I'm just yeah I mean I feel like I've played that just yeah I just don't like playing with people people suck you like playing with right oh wait we don't get to cuz of the time difference no yeah when we used to play I did enjoy it yeah we got to figure out where to do but that was more so that's really not playing the game that's more so just chatting and [ __ ] around yeah that's true that's true oh speaking of chatting and [ __ ] around uh Elder Scrolls Moro wind's out um I that's actually the reason I bought Elder Scrolls Online was because I knew Moro wind was coming out so I feel like

it's pretty stupid if I don't get it and play it yeah so I'm trying to decide what do I buy cuz I've got Elder Scrolls on disc yeah oh I did the same thing and I hate having on disc do you bu do I just buy the add-on or do I buy the pack there's the upgrade pack or there's the upgrade or there's the the full one that comes with the version where you don't have to put the disc in anymore and in Australia I think it works out being an extra $40 and I'm $40 put the disc in anymore yeah but I only paid 15 for for the game well you can still try and throw it on eBay I don't think I'm going to get anything for it they can't give the discs away so I don't know that's throw it on eBay you never know don't trade it in I hate trading it in actually I can't sell mine I can't mine's Australian there's

no region lock on X oh you're right you're right yeah what am I talking about yeah I've bought games here yeah you're right yeah region lock is gone yeah Fair Point except for you will get some very rare game from Japan or something that are yeah yeah but not a lot okay well I want to play marwi I mean yeah there's I played a little bit of it at uh at E3 I saw I played it on PC and it did make me a little jealous of how much easier it is to navigate the menus and stuff on a PC I think that that stuff's a lot easier yeah I do see some games I got I would prefer to play that on PC except I I'm lazy yeah well I don't have one so cuz I've been playing a little bit of um

Halo Wars right the original one and that is so much easier with a PC like with a mouse and keyboard I bet yeah yeah all those games even though it's designed for the controller no did you see the Nintendo stuff is it are you excited about your switch yet I sort of oh okay I did see one game which I the Mario R rabbits what yep I when I first saw I went that looks stupid no it's and then I watched a little bit more and I went I need this game I know what you mean I was like uh they had a big they had a big um statue of the of the rabbit that's eaten the you know the grow the mushroom that makes you grow the red mushroom does have a name I don't even

know if it has a name but uh they had a big statue one of them out in the hall and I was like oh my God I can't believe that's so stupid and then I saw the video and I was like oh it's like XCOM but with Mario and the rabbits and it looks really cool yeah I I think I will actually have to get it yeah which is crazy cuz I haven't even since I went to America I haven't even plugged my switch back in yet well that and Mario Odyssey looks awesome and oh and what Skyrim right on the switch is coming out and you get Link's stuff you get his tunic and his the master sword and and the Kiri Shield whatever what what's that Shield whichever one it is Dooku you what Count Dooku The Count Dooku shield and uh and

then I was trying to work out from the footage does it run and look like [ __ ] or does it look all right cuz it's the the switch is like uh 360 60 like yeah spec-wise and uh so it's not going to be the enhanced edition of Skyrim no you're not going to be getting mods or anything on it exactly so I was like hang on a minute maybe I don't want it on the switch even though I think I do like how does it run because you remember they would Port games to the 3DS and it was like oh wow I can play that on the go and then you would load it up and it was just terrible [ __ ] version of of a game that you liked yeah no um honestly I really think you should stay away from getting one just due to the fact you don't play your Xbox as much as you should no I know we're actually talk

even talking about some of the Sony stuff look great and we were like oh we could get a PS4 to play cuz that Spider-Man game looks sick uh but when am I going to play another console yeah get another console for a game that you finish I can just collect it oh I can collect Sony games and not play them now Sony games play games like I've thought about getting a PS4 a couple of times just for exclusives they're pretty cheap now comparatively for the pro I don't know I did this I eventually got a PlayStation 3 for the exclusives and I didn't actually end up playing any of them yeah I started even though I brought them all I think I would if I had a bit more time here and also I mean our setup here isn't great at the moment um I can't there's no way

for me to hook anything else up so it's the Xbox that's what I play on so yeah um what else did I see God there was so much there was so much people were complaining I need to go yeah you do it's it's it's fun it's it was good we had a lot of fun there are a lot of people complaining about it but we had a lot of fun so but yeah I think it from what you said like they didn't know what it was yeah I think it'll be interesting to see what happens next year because either uh cuz we're talking to some of the other press people there they were talking about how um it's it's this year was very different because there were so many people there and it made the lines impossible and it made doing press things hard um and I think a lot of them might stay away next year because of it if

they don't if they if they do it again or if they sell even more tickets to the public I think the like the press and the industry people might stay away because you can see it all online really yeah unless you want to actually line up for hours and hours to play something and and like we we actually did make appointments to see a few games and we did get handson uh with some stuff and and but we you could still see all that stuff online and because a lot of them like for example we saw life is strange too but it was just a presentation I'd actually find that more interesting than playing the game I hate lining up to play demos and stuff cuz I I think it's going to take away from when you sit down and actually play it but life is strange

yes I'm looking forward to that and it's a prequel which I got a shock over yes now I haven't played life is strange and I don't want to speak for Jenna and I'm sure she will speak for herself on the E3 episode so uh I don't know yeah I don't i' I've played the original so I don't know what to tell you about it but I I don't want to ruin anything so well it's I know that it's going to be based on the story of of Chloe and Rachel mhm yes which is which means that I don't think there's going to be any magical powers this time do you want me to tell you are there magical powers no there are not yeah I didn't think so because in the whole first one Chloe is

wow that's amazing mhm weird for her to have had magic powers herself the whole time yeah no there not the there's none of that did you hear um the act the voice actor strikes actually affected that game oh okay no they didn't mention that obviously Ashley bur of um oh yeah hey Ash what you playing um other stuff she did the voice of Chloe in the first one right and so she doesn't get to come back to do this one oh all right that's weird I just hired someone else who was nonunion okay that's weird yeah I can well why would they mention that well it's it's sort of weird but if they've already sort of started working on the game and committed to it and then you you can't sort of well hold out until the strike ends or yeah yeah yeah

of course so got to make money so yeah yeah yeah it's a business so yeah so yeah that's the first game I've heard of so far that's been affected by that strike right yeah I haven't heard a whole lot about it actually did they resolve that yet no no it's still going it's a shame and that's the bad thing like it won't really affect we'll still get the games coming out but you won't really start to notice anything for like a year same as the rider strike right remember when that happened you don't feel it right away it's down the track when they Su yeah and Seasons end Midway through right killed Battle Star Galactica yeah yeah yeah that was weird we got that split up fourth season and all that all right is there anything else you want to ask me

about because like I said we're going to do a whole episode on it so I don't want to repeat myself guess I should listen to it yeah there was a lot there was so much and I recommend uh the you know like a lot of channels have put up summary videos of all the press conferences and all the things that were announced um so if you're looking for video footage you can do that that and then like I said listen to our recap of uh of the whole thing if you want to hear about all the things that we saw cuz one thing I just need to hear about all right you could buy alcohol there yes you could buy Al walk around yeah in fact well not only that uh some of the vendors were giving it away because because it's a networking

event so you could just go chat with the de developers and uh and have a beer or several and maybe too many so it's not like when you're at somewhere and they go here's your drink and now stay in this tiny fenced off area with nowhere to see it strangely strangely enough if you cuz we got uh happy hour for media strangely enough we weren't allowed to leave with those drinks weren't allowed to leave the media area but if you're on the show floor you could buy drinks and uh and then yeah vendors could could provide you with drinks so that that that was the only limitation as as far as I'm aware yeah but yeah it was uh it was exactly the kind of thing that would make you jealous I'm going next year we'll see we'll

see got to stop planning for it now they announced the dates for next year they have yeah I don't remember them off top of my head June 12th to 14th 2018 cuz what what days does it go for uh the Expo it's well it's like I said it's kind of weird because the press conference is a beforehand like over the kind of the weekend SL we before yeah is it like a Monday to Friday thing or the yeah the Expo was Tuesday Wednesday Thursday see I could do that like fly over on the weekend mhm and then just fly back on the Friday take one week off things like uh Bethesda land and and all the Press well the press conferences you have to be to be invited individually by the company in question and they're very limited cuz they're not held in big well they're pretty big but

they're there's a lot of demand so yeah I think it's tough to get into those all right well if you uh if you have no further questions no I will leave it and I'll listen to the special good good good oh yeah you may have noticed listeners that the special uh stuff just goes on the normal Channel now we realized well we're trying it out and we're probably just going to merge them all together because the specials Channel just kind of sits there hanging on its own and it didn't make any sense and you mean you're not not forced to listen to you know our event coverage if you don't want to you can just listen to this show so you know what's yeah and it won't affect and it won't affect the um the patreon no not at all not at all yes yeah it won't affect patreon we yeah

Matt who thinks it's utter [ __ ] well listeners Wonder Woman is [ __ ] garbage and if you like it you like it for reasons other than it's a good movie cuz it isn't and hey that's fine I love Batman v Superman just cuz it's got a Batman in it doesn't make it a good film where do I start with the bad scripting the terrible Direction the nonsensical plot performances were great I'll give it that and for someone who's not an actress galgadot did a great job of shitty shitty lines I mean helped by the fact that she's got an accent if she had been American it would have sounded [ __ ] ridiculous but anyway that's my opinion otherwise known as the fact all right uh back to you

guys was not expecting that I was hoping for it cuz I was like don't let it just be me oh Han was telling me there's evidently been some talk online that people are upset that she's not American enough yeah I have heard that as well and um even the Wonder Woman's not American no I know it's on a magical Island even the director uh Patty Jenkins I think her name is um she said that she's glad that Zack Snider had already cast galgo in the role because she would never have picked her because she would have picked someone American oh so yeah I like I agree I I although I mean her accent she's Israeli so that was the other thing about the movie I'm not St [ __ ] on the movie again I like I just thought it was

funny that they made everybody else match her like not well no but it was like all right I still I still just I'm amazed that I like it and look a lot of people like it yeah a lot of people like it so yeah this just I think it's just some some disconnect there that that I'm just I don't don't get and clearly Dan doesn't either that's uh that makes me happy but I don't know I can't explain it I do think we are all none of us are DC fans I don't don't think I hate to say it but I agree I I didn't want to make it like I didn't want it to be like that I didn't you know people go oh you're a Marvel Fanboy I maybe I am I don't know not a fanboy I just think the um the scale of it is better to me like the a fight sequence where Captain America and Winter Soldier are fighting

uh you know those that SWAT team in in Civil War for this is just an example um you know they're fighting in the hallway and it's like a kind of smaller scale fight scene like it's they're still doing crazy superhero things uh you know and then they end up on the streets and they're jumping across the cars and stuff like that but they're not like exploding the whole planet like in the DC movies everything just [ __ ] blows up and like Marvel own the the movies DC owns the games yeah I don't know that I like the games either but I think that's just CU I don't like what oh sorry sorry sorry sorry that's the one exception actually and that's why I like the look of the Spider-Man game cuz it looks like those like an Arkham game with Spiderman which

is even better so I'm upset I won't get to play that yeah so am I I that's why I was thinking about buying a PS4 they released the crap Spider-Man on the Xbox that won't release a good one no no they're sneaky actually why I this this Spider-Man will actually be good because they're making it an exclusive Yeah Yeah well yeah that's right there's a lot more writing on it it's not just uh Amazing Spider-Man 2 game theyve just churned out cuz parents will buy it yeah in other DC news uh we've already mentioned that we didn't actually talk about this technically but we did mention that Zack Snyder uh sadly his daughter committed suicide a few months ago and he he stepped down from Justice League we didn't actually talk about it Dan just

made horrible J about it yeah um well Jos wed Weeden J Weeden Weeden has taken over directing duties on Justice League apparently he was already doing some second unit stuff for it which I didn't yeah I think he he was already there and I even with what's left over I don't think I think it's just re-shoot and Pickups I don't think it's well they've now announced um and it it's kind of I don't know this it's unclear quite what happened right so but but junky XL Tom hulkenberg the guy he did he did uh M Max Fury Road he did um Batman vers Superman with Han Zimmer um the composer sorry he is no longer doing Justice

League uh and some places said that it's because he had to move on to another project uh because Jus League got delayed others have said uh it's for different reasons Danny Elfman is now doing the score for Justice League Joss is trying to bring a lighter hearted more heroic theme to the to the film a more fun exciting tone which is what DC needs yeah and actually just to clarify that's not his words that's IO Nine's words so I I don't want to misquote him I didn't think they'll get they'd let Joss really do too much well I mean hopefully they will it's a bit late in the peace room to really do anything no I mean he can change stuff in editing he can he can like well clearly he can direct the music in a

different direction so I mean there's still there's some things he can he can do um the the new man Mantra of the DC Universe uh according to DC president Jeff JNS is heart humor hope heroics and optimism as opposed to Darkness and punching which is what we saw in Batman vers Superman so when's it's out October is it oh is it that soon Justice League that soon uh let's have a look Justice now it's this year Oh I thought it was anyway November 17th 2017 November just before Star Wars M God I want the Star Wars movie to come out already I thought where's our

4D that you saw Guardians yep it seems like that ex and then we watched like a 10minute I guess like recap of all the Star Wars films um with with like cool effects and like um you know lights and explosions and stuff for when cool things happened uh yeah it was it was cool and then as it got towards the end uh it was giving a summary of the force awakens and I was like oh are we going to get like a cheeky little sneak peek at The Last Jedi and we didn't no no there we there has to be the the story trailer has to be coming out soon yeah oh and the best part was at the end the lights came back up and the woman uh you

the Disney employee who was uh looking after the place she goes got to shock you were there or no no she the lights came on and then she had she's down the front at this little microphone stand and she was like wow that was amazing I could stand here and watch it all day oh wait I do now you can please just follow the path of the Jedi out of the hall the path of the Jedi is those three doors over there on my [Laughter] left such cynicism I love it you would go a little crazy watching that over and over and over cuz 10 minutes is very short which means you get to see it probably what five times an hour yeah yeah it was basically like a summary of of like the Skywalker family relationship and then some stuff

about you know Han and Leia and and yeah it was did you was did you see Hayden Christensen on there yes he was he was presented as not a lot of prequel stuff actually it was like and they made it look cool like I think with the preols it is Canon but and they will it is there but I don't think they're going to refer to it much no I wouldn't think so I'm surprised it's in the new game and I'm surprised by how excited I was when I saw the the uh you know the nabo uh whatever that map is where you have the battle droids versus the Clones like do like Darth small and battle droids and yeah well they're certainly creative that's one thing I was thinking when I watched like the Battlefront 2

stuff is like this all looks great and it's really creative and interesting it's just that the story wasn't very good that's my opinion anyway well that's just a map it's not really a story story so that's what I'm saying it it's the prequel story isn't really involved it's just a big battle with these cool interesting characters yeah they are there was no script story plot that's the word plot there was one it just wasn't very good it was terrible um in other Star Wars news did you see this sad news about the um Rancho Obi-Wan the largest private collection of Star Wars stuff no there's a what happened uh well they're in um based in Texas I believe is it's the largest private collection

they've got of like toys and collectibles and all sorts of rare stuff and uh and apparently I don't think he names anybody but an Insider he does does he oh yeah Carl Cunningham oh Carl Cunningham there you go all right fine Carl pinched a bunch of [ __ ] slowly over uh over a number of years and was selling it on the on the Black Star Wars Market or was he just someone who walked in there every now and again I think he was a from from from what I read he is a good and trusted friend who who was often welcomed at the at the place so well not anymore yeah cuz at the bottom it's got uh this is a list of the items that haven't been encountered for if you brought any of these especially on eBay

monsters I think they might have had the mummy been good but apparently the mummy is not good Hannah went and saw it and she just said it was terrible that's that's what I've heard have not seen it yet um probably won't bother one thing she said was um Tom Cruz is playing a character a lot younger than what he is and people are just meant to accept it that's interesting I didn't know that how how old was he supposed to be in this well the impression that H's giving that he's playing someone on his like 30s or something right and then he's just meant to be so young and everyone's just oh yeah yeah you are and when he cuz what he's in 50s Now isn't he he must be Tom Cruz is 54

right so yeah all right well apparently the movie sucks it's not doing well and uh everybody's blaming Tom Cruz himself for it because they're saying that he was given a lot of creative control uh on the film because Alex kurtzman the director Alex kurtzman wrote uh he's written a lot of films I think the island the uh Michael Bay film was one of the first ones he and Alex kurtzman and Roberto ay wrote as a team uh they've worked on the new Star Trek films with JJ Abrams and stuff this was his first film that the first film he directed I believe uh sorry no he directed a film called People Like Us in 2012 this is the first big budget film and apparently they Tom Cruz was just in charge of everything I don't know how

true that is that's what uh that's what this article says and um and Universal is blaming Tom Cruz for the failure because he changed he had people Chang the script he had uh he he his character apparently had less to do it was more about the mummy yeah from what I was just reading here like in the original script um they had the mummy and him sort of had equal screen time equal screen time why wouldn't they it's called the Mommy it's not called Tom Cruz and then he also had the rides adding The Twist where he gets possessed or something and see Tom Cruz just I don't know I don't think he's very creative H he might be a good actor stick with that side of it he's a good he's good at playing a very specific character which is Tom Cruz in

a movie I I know and he's good at that and he can act as that character doing things but I don't know he very he's not a character actor I wouldn't say that he's able he's a versatile character you know like someone like I hesitate to say Johnny Depp because I feel like Johnny Depp kind of I'm I'm burnt out on Johnny Depp at this point but he plays different types of characters all the time Tom Cruz doesn't he just plays the same person in a film you know yeah this is Tom Cruz in this situation and the mummy didn't need extra Tom Cruz I didn't think so it needed the mummy that's what it's about The Mummy so not Tom Cruz I I think they should just quit this idea well I

I I hesitate to agree with that because I want a new creature of the Black Lagoon movie in my in my heart but I want them to do it well I want them to learn from this and make it about fuz no make it about the [ __ ] creature that the movie's about not about some how are they going to make these movies who it says here together they refer to him as a young man in the film oh yeah see the movie that thinks Tous is a young man y yeah he's not he's not he's not and he need I think he needs to accept this yeah but so with this monster universe are they going to have crossover movies or I bet you they'll do whatever they can it's got to well they already it'll like Dr Jackal Mr Hyde he was in it yeah that's right so yes they uh yeah they

will I'm interested to see a new Dracula maybe cuz these are like campy horror movies they're not big action movies so I don't know I think it's going to be going go in the wrong direction I think yeah I really just yeah they should just stop where they are make your monster from Black Lagoon but just creature stand Creature from the Black he's not a monster he's creat also a monster he's a monster no he's a creature a monster no the the clues in the name both clues in the name of the film buddy creature not not the monster from the Black Lagoon jeez so I I don't think I'm going to go see this no I'm almost certainly not at this point I think the next movie I want to go see is Star Wars I don't even know if I'm going to

see Justice League I guess I will there's a guy in New York who over the past five months has had approximately I'm guessing this is approximate because it' be weird if this was an exact exact figure he's had 1100 men show up at his home and his workplace expecting to have sex with him because did they no apparently he uh he he pissed somebody off and they've set up a account for him on grinder and they've said uh they keep sending people to his work in his home and telling them that he's into like um role play and rape fantasy so if he seems a bit hesitant about it just just be insistent and uh yeah so he's apparently

trying to sue grinder now because he's GNA win keeps telling him like like shut down this account but I mean yeah well they probably have yeah but what is their legal responsibility here like well yeah it's not their fault no but there are legitimate uses for the application this is not one of them yeah he needs to go after the person making the fake accounts yeah it reminded me of um the cases where somebody put someone else's address on Craigs List and said uh like all of my stuff is free and people remember we talked about this the person came home and people were just taking their stuff like people didn't even knock or ask or check anything people just saw this thing on Craigslist showed up at the house and started

taking this guy's stuff must be true yeah exactly clearly yeah why would why would someone lie people are dicks yeah so yeah I feel sorry for people showing up at his work that's so F like come on that's not on yeah that's that that's really not nice no and how so this guy's been doing it to him for months wouldn't she get bored of it five months apparently not 11 he's done 1100 men he's organized this with because I assume you actually pardon me you have to organize this [ __ ] well yeah you'd have to sort of match with them and then chat to them for a bit yeah I don't know how grinder Works uh so I don't know how any of those apps work yeah I've never used one Dan doesn't either as we discovered last week or the week before for yeah uh we

yeah to me we the only nerds that haven't used like a dating website or something never thought about that and like I know a lot of people who do but like you guys never have as far as I'm aware no interesting been lucky yeah yeah you're God damn right we are very lucky yeah think about that every day in a similar case a man is uh has well he can't sue Facebook he's been told uh he tried to because somebody made a Facebook account in his name his name is um Franco kacholi kakoli uh

someone set up a Facebook account Franco Caroli jerking man which consisted of videos and pictures of him masturbating uh it's unclear how they got those pictures but then when he contacted Facebook and said can you please remove this account cuz it the account started adding all his friends oh and he contacted Facebook and they replied and told him this account is using Facebook in a way that follows the Facebook Community standards soar apparently it's okay to do that just to post pics and videos of you jering off and then start adding people on Facebook that that can't be right they can't cuz yeah allowed to put those types of pictures up there that's it's such a weird thing for them to have

said so I don't know what's going on there it might be because the photos aren't explicit maybe they sound explicit I mean yeah I guess but it could just be like an over the-shoulder shot and you just see his arm moving backwards and forwards and well how would you know it was him could have been anyone I don't maybe we should add him on Facebook yeah maybe just maybe I should do a search for all of our jerking man Facebook and just make sure there's not CU how did he even get this footage like he doesn't say whether he uh he filmed it himself for you know for somebody or if he um if they stole it somehow in like in that episode of What's that show I don't know what show I was I keep wanted to say black books it's not Black Books

definitely not Black Books what's that uh oh um um Blackpool Blackpool no Blackpool um [ __ ] why can't I think name of the show Charlie book show Black Mirror Black Mirror yeah and knew was knew was something something dark yeah so this is why I really think we have to get to the point where you need a license well not a license but something to sign up for stuff yeah an internet license on an internet license M yeah so you're not to be someone else or it's easy to track down who you are when you do something wrong and how would you how would you enforce that I don't know okay I'm not doing it but something needs to come in you just think it would be a good idea

I'm all for freedom of speech and everything but my biggest thing is it needs to be you saying it you needs to be accountable for it yes so there should be something in place that when you sign up for something it's yes I'm signed up for that I think your I as somebody two people who live in a country where or two different countries where it's okay to say whatever we want the only my concern with that is that not everybody does so if you're in a country where you're not free to say what you what you really think especially if you you know the truth that would be bad for there correct that's that's my point is that if you're in a country where you're you could get in trouble for saying certain things I

love [ __ ] well no even just you know like oh my government is trying to kill me or something like that if you're in some some horrid country then it would not be good uh and I think those people need to be anonymous I don't think this is going to happen next week um my lifetime you never know they do they someone listens to this podcast all right before we go mhm what's the stupidest achievement you've gotten this week ooh um oh let me just go to here and find out I've got quite a few this week quite a few stupid ones or quite a few in just quite a few just quite a few achievements in general okay I played Among the sleep today what's that I played as a 2-year-old walking around that my house trying to escape the

boogeyman okay that sounds interesting uh it's not it's a terrible game okay I enjoy it I completed it got a th in that today very good um but you didn't enjoy it no worthwhile then yeah but I got the collector which has found all drawings in the game very good that's probably the stupidest one I got oh no bad lullabi find the hidden music box it was not hidden it was just on a shelf I was just on a I was just in a i open the door it was right in front of me good job how many points did you get for that uh 100 wow nice yeah this game was great for achievements took be two hours not great for actually having a good time no worst

two hours of my life great for achievements yes what's the worst game you've ever played worst game I think it is it this no no no but this was nice this was bad but it was quick game mhm um I think it still has to be Juke Nukem really J N forever I just really hated that game else did I play I play typo man [ __ ] is typo man you play as uh you got it's a spelling game you got to try and you're a little man made out of letters and you walk along and you get to certain points and you have to make work words to continue on is this a children's game l no all

right it's it's reminds me a lot of limbo okay with spelling yes okay actually even think it might be made by the same people H typo man typo man and what achievements did you get in that spelled things correctly uh spell 100 words uh letter juggle land of uh finish the game land of finish the game fancy wear a hat that's an achievement you get every day I had to spell the word hat and then I wore a little hat how long did it take you to figure out how to spell hat um it did take me a little while yeah cuz you wear them normally you don't spell them yeah so yeah it was actually it did take me a little while to find out where all those
