I'm going to start off this week a little different than what I normally would okay that's scary welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy I'm pissed off with a company you probably wouldn't expect me to be pissed off withow that's not Microsoft you're pissed off you get pissed off this is different something's changed Google you like Google you love Google I love Google your house is a [ __ ] Google surveillance system I've got like Google home set up around chomecast we've got pixels as our phones in this household you wanted to get Google glass and you were banned from Dan's house I'm still

going to get it the second they release that and you will be banned again the the problem I've got is there's been an app called inbox oh yeah that I've been using for my email four years now yeah they decided to get rid of it and it actually went away on the last day of March and did you know it was going away yeah yeah even the app every time I went in it went it's going away you need to start using Gmail and I'm n i refus to use it and now I started trying to use Gmail it's not the same no it's literally not the same because I I've used both uh I don't I don't really use Gmail the app for Gmail very much um but they are quite different they pulled over snooze and some other stuff right into Gmail now yeah they pulled over

some stuff but one thing I used to love about like inbox is any email I got about travel it'll just sort it into trips for me yeah so it's a quick and easy thing if I'm traveling I can very easily see my flights and accommodation and everything now now I have to manually move it to Travel section and I don't sort my email I can imagine you're not someone who does I liked inbox cuz it did it for me mhm mhm and now I just don't know what to I'm tried I'm tried a new email so I tried Gmail doesn't work for me I tried a new one called spark oh yeah I've used spark and it's okay but it's still missing the features I actually used yeah yeah yeah it's not it's not placement for for inbox I wonder if someone might now you know there's a space for someone to come up with one

yeah and I think there's a lot of people CU I went to forums and stuff to look at it and everyone oh of course inbox Forum so everyone's going like why are you doing this it's great why are you doing this to us there's a market for it now but I really don't know why they didn't I was about to say why do they shut it down in the end do do we know yeah what no they've gone like we've moved your favorite features over over but everyone's going but I like this future this fure and this future which was all working perfectly can you just maybe not support inbox anymore but just let us use it yeah I don't know why they do this Google has there's an article this week about how they the fact that they keep shutting things down is starting to um hurt their brand in a way because

they keep coming out they're kind of known now for like coming up with new [ __ ] and then just abandoning it after understand if if it's not working right but was great yeah I used inbox uh you know back in I was it was in Australia time so it's at least 3 years ago and yeah it was probably at least four or five because I remember being on the train on the way to work when I worked at uh in in Alexandria it worked great back then like just improved it never didn't work yeah so yeah that's why I'm just that my that's my little bit of a rant I'm just yeah very annoyed with Google this month and can someone can listeners please maybe recommend a new

uh email app I can use all right podcast at multipl nerdgasm tocom let Luke know what email app he should use or just email him directly if you want luk multipl nasm.com yeah please please let me know I'm struggling or just write the name of the email app on your penis before you send him a dickpic and send that to [ __ ] 4 at Snapchat yep that would be I'd be very grateful if people were to do that for me there's one uh I mean this doesn't I don't think this does what you want but and also actually just realized I don't know that it's on Android so maybe I won't bother going into it too much but there's an app called air mail that I used that was quite good but air mail yeah but I don't know if you'll be able to get it now that I'm thinking about it I'm searching

for it now also the stuff that you're talking about I don't think that it does travel sorting that's that that travel was really great but here's the thing with that right in order for it to do that it's got to scan your email and I'm okay with this yeah I know you are but a lot of people aren't and I know I was just thinking ail definitely doesn't do that cuz it's very like like they' big on like the Privacy angle so yeah I want someone to sort my email for me just read it and let you know if there's anything important in it yeah yeah give you the the cliffnotes version of your emails but like with in box it would sort my like my travel it sort like promos personal emails I could just put them all into separate things and it was great now I go in there I've got social

which is one of the ones they had promotions is there but the one that's missing is the travel the trips yeah cuz you're the travel bar sear in two it's got the Travel section has a one email from 2014 that I would have manually set as travel and I've never done it again since and you've already done that you've done that trip so yeah yeah like I it's still sort of easy to find I can click on um like Google trips and that's stored like my flights and stuff but didn't store like my accommodation or anything quite annoying well get your act together Google yeah or ABC yeah I know we know you're listening because you're you're

probably in you got a Google home thing in your room right now haven't you yeah it's I'm looking at it right now it's looking at you too yeah I'm okay with this I've got nothing to hide it's not about that but all right fine as long as stay nothing to hide from Google like it's it's not the government or even they stick with their whole model of don't do evil or whatever it is yeah they don't that's not their motto anymore just for no they abandon that why would they get rid of that motto ah so they could do evil Luke I have to rethink this yeah now it's called don't get caught doing evil see everyone's motto should just be don't be evil or don't be a dick don't be a dick you stole that from a dick it works if you're not a dick yeah

Well's a better place turns out will weaton doesn't follow his own rules well what's will ween done uh nothing we don't have to go into it there was there's some drama with him I actually h no I don't want to go into it okay I have no idea I have I stopped watching um it's just just dumb internet stuff don't care I'm sure will we's fine he's just internet is terrible terrible toxic place yes he's friends with Chris Hardwick and he he uh accidentally he says upset a bunch of transgendered people um and I'm going to leave it at that cuz I don't care don't care about will weaton so let's move on yeah moving on uh so PX oh Dan's not here oh good

point Dan's um Dan's at Santa's Workshop he got a job as an elf and uh yeah I don't think we'll be seeing him around he's back next week or the week after but I expect presents because he's been or just for him to move my name from the naughty list to the nice list yeah to the the the did no evil list to the yep yeah I don't think I've ever done anything evil H interesting all right let me let me think about that and we'll uh trying to think of anything evil have I done anything evil I don't know don't know if I'd say evil you did attack a taxi once yeah but I feel like intent matters when when you're talking about evil like well your intent was to harm the taxi yeah but I I no it wasn't that's the point my

my my intent was to stop my friend from leaving because I wanted to I wanted them to stay and drink more and I was just being a drunk idiot like I wasn't trying to be evil I just wanted my friend to come back you know different it's just it was obviously a very very poor way of achieving that goal uh yeah so maybe it's more than just intent though cuz a lot of people have great intent maybe when they're murdering people but hang on what is evil then like if you were to go and say kill Hitler would that be evil well what's your you intent you're intending to kill of hard to say yeah well the intent is just to murder someone hang on the reason is different I think we maybe we need to step back a bit and Define evil what is

evil get away from philosophy no we good at this this is going really well Luke this is going really well what is evil Define evil for me come on just real quick and then promise I just want to know I really don't know yeah so I think that's the problem too is it's very very uh Airy fairy isn't it cuz you can be doing something kind it's got a lot of baggage it's got a lot of religious baggage and a lot of like philosophical baggage cuz I'm not sure Evil's really a thing when I think about it right like one like killing Hitler not a bad thing but you're also still just killing someone mhm but your reason for killing them is pretty good like he's a bad person but still he's going to cause the death of potentially more

people not potentially if you if you have a time machine you go back you know what he's going to do so I don't know yeah it's just it's strange but yeah let it's a comedy podcast let's not talk about murdering and Hitler what do you mean I I don't understand anymore Luke what's not funny about murdering Hitler anyway moving on I guess uh we had uh we had packs the other week uh that's where I was oh how was it I want to go to pack East again it was good actually uh Man 4 days is a lot of packs I'll give you I'll tell you that four days for over there Friday Saturday Sunday it's a lot of packs wow we still got the only the three days in Australia which tickets just went on sale for that in case people are looking to buy

tickets uh yes and you should cuz do it sell out these days it didn't first I imagine it probably does now right uh it does and I have a feeling the 3 days are going to Sate a lot faster than they have in the past right yeah cuz they went on sale and within like the first like couple of days they were already 20% of those tickets sold which [ __ ] sells out within 5 minutes like fully 3-day passes crazy I can like if you live in Melbourne I can understand if you just want to get like a day pass and go yes but for people traveling you want to cuz you got to pay for accommodation airfare you want to experience as much of that as possible you get a three-day pass

totally I don't think they even do now that I'm thinking about it I don't think they do weekend passes here anymore I think if you want to go to PAX East for four days you've got to buy four passes oh really wow yeah I think uh I'm pretty I'm pretty sure that's the case I haven't bought passes in a while cuz we get but um but I'm pretty sure you have to buy all four days I still buy passers and then give them away oh do you yeah I sto remember I gave I gave two tickets away as a competition last year yeah you did you did yeah no they g i meters and passes so I don't I stopped buying them cuz well cuz buying passes to PX East is a [ __ ] nightmare that's uh it would be for that

in Australia not quite as much of a nightmare yeah I'd be at work in an important meeting and then there's a tweet that's like P Easter's on sale and I got to be like oh go [ __ ] I got to go yeah not anymore um yeah so yeah keep an eye out later in the year for a way to win your 3-day P pass yeah packr that is all right I will but that's maybe so you talking to me or the listeners oh if I could I hey if you want we can organize something if you want to come no no well I was was it a couple years back at the Gbox panel they showed some new rendering technology they were working on and it was it was Borderlands 3 what I got a shock at is how soon this game is coming out well yeah they've been working on it

for five years now but I quite like that get more so so it's coming out in September yes and more shio should do this if it's a new if it's a new IP yes you need to start building up building up to it for a couple years trying to get people interested like yeah but for border three where you could release it tomorrow you're still people just going to go out and buy it you don't really need to have well there's some drama around that we'll get we'll get to I don't know I think I think they're still going to sell enough copies but there there's been a bit of drama about it ah yes I know what you're talking about yeah we'll get to that yeah yeah so it's September uh yeah it's quick right it's like hey we're make we we already made a game here it is like

rather than like oh we're thinking about Borderlands 3 so here's a a photo of a programmer starting the project and in 5 years uh we'll see you yeah yeah don't do that no this game is pretty much built and it's just in the final stages by this stage hopefully did you watch the trailer I did I like the little gun on legs he had a little gun with legs you're so cute man did you watch the panel no I didn't watch the panel I heard it did not go well it well it did and it didn't there were there were a lot of technical difficulties there was it was I felt bad for Randy Pitchford I like Randy Pitchford we talked about him on the podcast recently because there's been some some drama around uh Mr Pitchford that I'm not necessarily sure

supposedly yeah alleged alleged drama uh but he's he's a cool guy I think unless unless unless that stuff's true which I hopefully it's not we'll just ignore that for now um but he uh he's obviously very passionate about Borderlands 3 and and and just his job in general yeah and they uh that's who you want as your FR someone who's passionate about it and who and also someone who's a magician cuz he's a magician he really wants to he really wants to push that magician stuff doesn't he he does he's friends with pen andella now he's going to he's going to milk it so they had some problems because uh I think because he he he pointed out later at packs right they've got two big screens on the left and right of the stage at the main theater usually they

just have the two this time they also had like a huge projector screen thing behind the stage you know like a backdrop almost um and apparently that screen's not 4K so all the footage that they wanted to show to show off the games properly was in 4k and it um it wasn't playing correctly so they weren't able to play the trailer for the Borderlands one remaster uh they just weren't able to play it like it wouldn't wouldn't play who in an area like that who cares about 4K well I don't he they were they were going for the we want to show this best quality kind of thing and I know but in that experience I know I know well so they weren't able to play that one one have 4K he said please you've got to you've got to sort out whatever is going

on with these [ __ ] videos before the end of the panel wink wink because I want to show everybody something and I don't want it to [ __ ] up and um so people were running around trying to sort it out um so there was that uh they had to come out and just kind of talk about the Borderlands one remaster which it was fine it was charming and Goofy and it just but like I guess a little embarrassing for him not to be able to show it uh and I felt bad but then uh he did his magic trick which was slightly ruined for me because the cameraman you knew it oh the cameraman captured something that he wasn't supposed to I think the the angle revealed something about the trick I'm not going to say what it was but uh so

don't ruin the magic for everyone no I'm not going to but I just I I was watching it's easier to see on the screens so I'm sure a lot of people probably saw it too but uh yeah so that's a shame and uh and then the other thing was that the Borderlands three trailer played but it skipped a lot it was really jittery and so uh and then it got awkward because it it played and everyone cheered and was like yeah woo cuz it looks [ __ ] great um but then Randy was like can we play it again and but can we fix the problem and then it got awkward cuz we were waiting and and they tried and it still wasn't right and then eventually they got it to work but then afterwards the reaction was like diminished because we'd already seen it one and a half times You've Lost That initial so it just it was just

like yeah I feel bad for him but the energy when the trailer first got shown was [ __ ] great and it looks good it looks [ __ ] tops I know who I'm going to be playing as already just based who who are you going to play as I'm going to be that robot man oh I was going to be the robot man but I'll still be the robot man it's not like we're ever going to play together oh we will not I saw you and Jenna were playing Borderlands to and I went oh I'm going to jump into their game and then realized I don't have it installed a you should you should come play with us we want to we're trying to get we never played through the whole [ __ ] tiny tener expansion so really but now I've played through it twice we got the remaster because we played it originally

on the 360 um so now we got the remaster but we got to get up to level is it level [ __ ] 30 something before you can uh and you don't want to be just level 30 you really want to up that a little bit more exactly I know cuz I saying last night all the quests say trivial because we're I mean I feel like that always happens in Borderlands you end up high level but then we went to do this Quest and the [ __ ] got our ass kicked so I I think maybe the leveling uh is a little off I'm actually playing Borderlands the remastered one now Borderlands one yep how is it I actually it's weird I wish I was playing with someone yeah that game was [ __ ] tops I remember when it came out it's a great game and I'm enjoying it but I'm sort of skipping a lot of it because yeah I've

done this and yep just move it along but yeah I think I would have more fun playing with someone you playing it on the boner yeah of course the X boner what else would I play it on uh don't know PC you have a PC unless it comes with achievements I ain't playing it maybe I'll pick it up and we can play it but speaking of playing it on the PC the Borderlands 3 drama is that uh it's a an epic epic exclusive for six months oh that's that bad well it isn't it isn't because if you don't like the Epic store which apparently a lot of people don't like the Epic store then you wait six months you wa six months for it but they don't want to wait 6 months so instead they're review bombing Borderlands on

Steam uh and giving it bad reviews even though that's completely irrelevant uh to I guess punish 2K who's responsible for that not gearbox gearbox is not responsible for this 2K the publisher is responsible for this deal it's just like come on guys I'm not a fan of riew bombing it means nothing no and you it's gearbox has no control over it it's 2K and Randy keeps saying this on Twitter people keep hassling Randy Pitchford about it and he's like guys I don't know how much clear I can be about this it's we we can't do anything about it it's 2K Games is the publisher and they've made this deal and it's got nothing to do with us yep it's it's it's unfortunately that's how it is people exclusives exclusives have been around for a very long time it's a thing that

happens yeah it sucks though and I understand it's just your PC aren't used to it yeah and I well and I can well origin did that right back in the day is origin still a thing yeah yeah see I don't play games on a PC so origin still a thing Han plays The Sims right yes that's actually that's one of the games I had on there I had uh the on there and I had um probably Dragon Age 2 or something on there yeah not a lot I didn't play lot on Origin but it's just I've got a ton of games on it like and see I'm kind of I've gone off steam a bit cuz there's so much crap no it's more that we we talked about this kind of thing before steam the potential for steam to go away and take my games with it is I don't like uh whereas with good old games they're DRM free I can just

download them and I have them but that's also the problem with that is if you download it or and you lose that download and they go away unless you've got everything downloaded it's G that still applies 16 as well yeah okay that's I don't have I'm just I'm I'm just hoping nothing I own goes away ever ever yeah or that I remember owning cuz there's a lot of games I own that I forget I've bought games we've talked about this before I buy games twice by accident I buy it on oh it's on sale on good old games I'll buy this game oh [ __ ] I already owned it on Steam I've done that where I've I've owned it like on good old games I've owned it on um I've owned it from a Humble Bundle and then I've still gotone

and purchased it oh just to clarify cuz I know this in case listeners are confused because I know I said I don't play on a PC I have a Mac so I have Steam and I have good old games on the Mac and so I have a have a more limited range of games I can play but I do play games on my Mac sometimes which is why the games I'm talking about not but I don't have origin or any of that and I wouldn't play a AAA title on a on here I would play those on the Xbox yeah until I can get achievements on more achievements on PC I'm not going to become a PC Gamer achievements yeah as everyone knows have ruined gaming for me but no I don't know people get over it yeah like people they this is something that's happened it still doesn't mean that you can't can't buy it

and and play it it's not costing you extra money at all it just means you have to do a separate launcher our friend Ben Ryan from uh from Sydney tweeted the other day I thought it was quite good he said that there's two convenience stores near him uh one of them stops selling Ben and Jerry's ice cream so when he wants Ben and Jerry's ice cream he goes to the other one and it's actually not that big a hassle uh and this is kind of like that just go to the other store and play the game yeah and it's there and you can play people confuse me well they don't want to support the platform because I I do you know what I I don't even know what the [ __ ] problem with the Epic store is to be honest I just know that people don't like it I don't now that

Publishers why aren't we supporting instead of steam taking 30% I think epic's taking 18% H why don't we like that I don't understand I love that that's the also the reason why I don't I don't like buying used gam physical used games because Publishers and developers get nothing well uh you'll be pleased to know then that games GameStop GameStop is that the compan gam GameStop Yes they just released they're not going to be around they just released their first quarter profit and they're losing like a quarter of a billion dollars they're predicting not looking good so they're going to be I don't know we'll see the the only thing that I like well actually now I'm thinking about it I was going to say I I used to pick up you know 3DS and and old DS

games and stuff but I've just realized I can't even do that in this country cuz my [ __ ] console's region locked so I guess I I have no use for you games stop so okay bye I guess I don't I guess I just don't care anymore but look another game that I think Star Wars Battlefront too so the new one that's if you're playing that on PC I don't think you can get that on uh steam oh is it on Origin or something what do you you got to buy yeah it's EA right don't they do they still do that with all the games remember Mass Effect 3 wasn't going to be on Steam and everyone got mad about that I mean rightfully so wasn't that one of the first big ones that they were like no you got to install our [ __ ] to play it and everyone was like I don't want to do

that hey I remember complaining about having to install Steam originally yes yeah yeah no I want a boxed copy with a disc well that's the thing like you when I brought Half Life 2 mhm you had to install Steam to play it they what they did was [ __ ] genius with that right because I didn't buy halflife 2 I got halflife 2 with a video card and I had to install Steam and everybody wanted half lifee 2 that was like if you played games you wanted half lifee 2 so that was pretty Genius Like that's why steams steam these days yeah it's time for them to have some competition which will be better for everyone involved yeah for sure do they still make games I think anyway steam no oh yes and no they're still got like DOTA and oh yeah they make that thing I

remember yeah they're still there still doing all of that and he no hearthstone's not there they're still they're still not really making games as supporting games they've got out yeah okay Team Fortress 2 still the thing um no that was replaced by something OverWatch Team Fortress 2 was but I mean OverWatch is Blizzard I know that that right in yeah but it was sort of because they didn't release look any team for 3 that's where watch came in they're not allowed to release games with a three in the title that's the problem yeah I well this might actually work out better for people if steam starts seeing this they might actually go and start making games again yeah that' be and then they can go hey we've got our own

exclusive hey gearbox made the third game in a series maybe we should make the third game in a series 2 Portal 3 Portal 3 I play that 3 no screw screw halflife really no I I didn't even like the second one I don't know what everyone is going on about sorry you didn't like halflife 2 no all right it was not a good game I disagree but okay I had no idea what the story was on going on about okay and then all you did was you drove you shot things you drove you shot things you drove you shot things sorry this is from the person who played Halo for their [ __ ] every day for 20 years

I understood the story actually it's funny that you say that cuz I don't understand the story for Halo I feel like the story for Halo is just not we've talked about this before I'm pretty sure for some reason for some reason in in Halo games when they start talking about plot my eyes just glaze over I don't know what it is about that series I just I can't get into it whereas yeah I I know that series very well yeah I don't know why oh hey I uh uh you may you probably noticed already but there's another game that I tried this week uh on your recommendation do you know what it is no what was that no you should do I got I got some a I find out yeah yeah all right I I'll just tell you cuz it's

quicker yeah uh Titanfall 2 Ah that's a great game yeah yeah it is is actually I really was I really enjoyed that I uh I I decided it was like $4 or something so I was like you know what I'll give it yeah I know right so I thought I'll give it a shot and uh yeah it's good it's fun it's good good shooter good uh I like the movement stuff running up the walls and stuff like that I didn't play the first one that game that game oh the first one don't bother with the first one it's multiplayer right it's only multiplayer the story sort of there but it's You' really got to look for it I don't know if you have be familiar with the person that I'm going to mention but I was I started up the game Titanfall 2 started the game and then the intro video starts

playing and then this person starts talking and I'm like [ __ ] that voice is so familiar is this going on it's going on I'm like is this does someone I know do the [ __ ] voice for this like this voice sounds so familiar and uh it it took I feel like embarrassingly long for me to realize it was Matt Mercer from um critical role if you I don't know if you're familiar with that no oh never mind listeners I know of it I've never watched it though all right yeah Matt Mercer is the voice of the main character in Titanfall 2o and he's and doing just his normal voice too because he does a lot of character voices too but uh yeah it took me embarrassingly long to realize that's who it was but yeah no you you need to finish that story just play it it's a great story I

can't play Shooters too much I get bored but I'll I'm I'm going to I mean I'll I'll do my best actually that the only exception to that is Borderlands I don't know why Borderlands is really compelling to me um I think cuz that is more of it you can just drop in and drop out like you don't really need to pay attention to exactly what's happening in that story oh yeah 90% of the time of the story is horeshit it's just funny go here and shoot things yeah yeah go go put this thing on the wall over there and then come back yeah that's the plot of waterlands yeah actually I'm not I'm not doing it justice that's a side quest it's really good everyone should go and play Borderlands [ __ ] yeah in Titanfall 2 and Titan respawn yeah they did a great job with that and then respawn they're the

ones that're going to be making the new Star Wars game oh so yeah we'll see titf 2 came out like the worst time of the year I know it did really badly right I'm surprised Call of Duty and battle uh Battlefield I came out spack bang in the middle of of them yeah I'm because it's really fun I'm surprised you do better uh another game that we have been attempting to play uh with some success is civilization 6 just had my turn yes it's been my turn for about two weeks but I just took it so you can do uh we've talked about this so sorry listeners if you're familiar with this but you can uh you can do Cloud saves so you take your turn and the game will automatically save and then pass it on

to the next person so Luke Dan and I have been playing that way for about a month now uh very and we're up to nothing interesting yet no no in fact I'm not even sure you exist in the world at this stage uh I'm just pottering about I've seen no one I've seen someone Scout run past but I think it might be the computers I was going to say hopefully I wonder if it was mine maybe you were nearby now I'll give listeners some advice this is the worst way to try and learn how to play is playing this way you you know you could start up another game and familiarize yourself but I know I could but I'm not going to this now yeah yep so I'm learning to play as we play and it might take like two weeks for me to get another turn and so not quite sure what's happening so

how long have you owned Civ 6 and just not played it I'm just curious uh a very long time I got it part of a Humble Bundle oh okay and I don't even remember when I got that that's different then I thought maybe you just bought it and then just no I haven't also brought anything directly on Steam in a very long time oh brought a game direct a PC game directly in a long time well the the most recent one I bought was C6 for this reason but this week they announced and I'm a little annoyed that I had maybe if I'd waited uh I could have done this instead but the switch version of it now supports crossplatform saves so if I was to get on the switch I could play oh wow yeah right I could play our game and really so that would support between PC Mac and switch that's huge yeah right

and I was like oh man because like I'm just not on my PC very much uh so to be able to just pick up the switch and and play would be ideal for me the problem is I own it on Steam and I also own it on my iPad and I don't want to pay for it again I don't want to pay 60 bucks for it again on the switch like there's that's really silly in my opinion so hopefully they'll bring the same thing to the iPad that that would be I'm going to Super convenient that would be great for you if they start if Microsoft do come through with this your Xbox achievements on the switch I will use my switch so much more but until then not going to happen have you played anything on the switch um I played Mario part party Mario party's good I played Zelda which

I still claim is a terrible game you're wrong but that's fine and that's honestly it I've been playing Hollow Knight a lot but it's very difficult so I don't I get frustrated with it no I'm just not good at uh at those kind of I guess difficult games I guess that's people keep saying oh you should try Dark Souls no I tried that it's not for me no that that's a game that's difficult and that's how you meant to play it and I that's that's not fun to me yeah me either me NE and sorry I mean Hollow Knight's not not that bad it's just that you've got to uh you've got to figure out how to beat creatures like there's it is difficult and people are going to write and be like it's not

difficult but it is it's difficult for me and at time some people have struggle with games with certain types of games not everyone can be like me and just be naturally talented at all games I'm not good at games but I'm sort of midlevel in every genre oh I was looking at uh the division 2 this week I'm interested in it you still playing it I um I've actually stopped but I do want to go back to it I haven't I didn't stop playing cuz I wasn't enjoying it I just got distracted with the billion other games that have come out recently yeah see and I've got like so many games just sitting there I still haven't played uh we happy few at all haven't even launched it since I bought it oh yeah

and the FL DLC for that I still haven't finished The Walking Dead which I might finish that tomorrow yeah oh you know who I who we saw at PX uh Telltale which what this what we said we both looked up and went what what were they doing there because cuz we have uh friends who worked there and they got fired and that company shut down as far as we knew so we're like the [ __ ] um it was uh I I've forgotten the name of the company the company that beam dog might be beam dog it's or whoever publishes beam dogs games some company bought the took over the rights and and some employees to finish off The Walking Dead

series oh that was um oh um bound games yes yes skybound games so we were chatting to Telltale people there that we talked to and we said what's going on and they said oh you know skybound has temporarily employed us to finish this off and then it got awkward cuz you could I could tell that they didn't want to talk about it so we were like okay that's fine thank you we were just curious yeah cuz skybound gam sort of came in and went look we're going to finish it off and they have cuz they finished off episode three and four recently came out and then yeah not they might keep some of them on because sky games are going to make games like that's yeah what they're doing yeah so they published the

enhanced additions of Boulders gate and stuff like that but still just very strange that they would be under Telltale yeah well I guess that's the branding that everyone's familiar with so if you're at PS and you want people to to the game I guess you got to put Telltale on the sign that's why was confusing and the people we spoke to were from T were were Telltale people like they do you really want Telltale to be the name now because basically if you look at last time we really heard about them was we've kicked all of our employees out and fired them with no notice we're not going to finish the game that everyone has actually paid for like do do you still want that to be around or I don't know I guess does everybody does everybody know that or is

that I don't know might be inside baseball probably not everyone but to me the people who got who going the packs would know that yeah probably I don't know man there's a lot of people there cuz that's a huge thing like that thing Telltale they went sorry we have to fire everyone and even though like cuz IID paid them money for the game like entire season upfront CU you couldn't buy um episodes this time yeah you had to buy just the entire thing and then that was going to be if skybound didn't take it over over there was going to be no game yeah that would have been [ __ ] but hey not the first time that's happened no not it's no Evil Dead 2 board game actually that might be yeah yeah someone might be taking over that we'll

see it's it's been 6 months since they said they were going to do that so we'll see yeah they've been for the last they were meant was meant to go like live in the kick was me to go live in February then March then it's always just around the corner it's starting to get as sort of as sus as the actual game we'll see but the only this is the only thing the only way I get news about this is going to the comment section of the Evil Dead Kickstarter yeah but that's like a pit of Hell cuz I feel like there there's different levels of Kickstarter supporter right so I've got another game that I've been waiting for for a very long time like a video game that I'm actually supposed to be a character in and it's

not out was that a oh that was a PC game yes yeah yeah I was going to say the name I don't I don't want to shame anybody like or anything it's an indie game like and and you know I'm sure they're doing their best and it's just many of those and they do take longer like that you just have to accept and they had they had some issues where they another game came out that was very very similar to their game and they were worried and so they decided to to kind of take it back and and you know re revamp it a bit and you know fair enough whatever [ __ ] happens but people are not very understanding in the kickstarter comments and it's just like [ __ ] calm down it's not a store right you you gave these people money to to to make the thing whether it succeeds or not it's

not how it works it's not a store you know I'm just trying to read through the comments to see if if the evil dead too and again it's going live but still nothing h I guess I should check up on that I haven't got any emails or anything from them well no no you're not going to get any emails from them like space goat Productions they're gone yeah which is sort of annoying like they won't even if their last update was yeah our backing thing didn't go very well we'll be back soon to let you know what's happening that was May 25th 2018 wait while we're talking about board games uh I want to talk about that is not a [ __ ] not imaginary this is a real board game that's coming out soon um from Atlas games called godsforge and if you want to play it um they're traveling

around to conventions and showing it off it is a two to four player I guess card game you're like a a wizard of sorts uh I'm not good with the um the law as far as these things go but basically you get you get a bunch of cards and they're either like um like creatures or spells and when you want to cast or or play one of the cards you got to roll dice and You' got to match the numbers on the dice okay yep uh and you can reroll to try like yatsi style to try and get the the dice that you need to to play a card and then um and then basically you go around everything happens at the same time so everybody rolls and does the Spells and then you reveal and then you do the damage and all that kind of stuff and uh and and it's it's [ __ ] cool

man it's like it's really fast and we play it either before or after we do like maybe like a you know like D and D or or or kind of a longer thing we play a couple rounds a bit of a ice breaker just to get people in the mood type of thing exactly exactly and it's it's coming out soon like I think it got delayed a little bit I think it's June it's coming out now it was going to be may but uh it's called God's Forge it's from Atlas games and it's [ __ ] cool man um so it's actually like being released or it's being kickstarted no no it's it's done it's Rel it's being released yeah awesome yeah yeah they've got uh I'm pretty sure they've got the box copies ready to go it's just uh they just I'm not sure why it got delayed but

um yeah check it out uh godsforge uh they're at cons showing it off now if there's a con you go check it out otherwise just go to the atlas games website and have a look um okay I might look into that myself yeah I thought you might that's why I mentioned it to you add it to box of games I love games I just never play them we play them once a week I wish that's one we've been playing a bit quite a lot lately have you played full out 76 at all I assume not oh not in a very long time so people are still playing it I guess I can't tell if the game is successful or not because all I know is that everybody hates it except people are still playing it and like bethesda's still you know can't walk away from it well yeah cuz we were at the the

Bethesda event at Pax the other week and they I fall out 76 was prominent that was like one of their you know like they've got fiveish main they got the El Scrolls they got rage Doom Fallout uh Wolfenstein and you know kind of their main properties and I'm probably probably missing one or two but and Fallout 76 is the Fallout game that they're pimping at the moment well that's the one that they're hoping will just be a steady income flow for them have they fixed it yet I have not played it in so long it's probably completely different game to the last time I played it I think DLC is coming out for it soon or if not very soon and was a funny article this week because apparently unlike the other

Fallout games in Fallout 76 the bobby pins uh if you haven't play they way of lot so you have to use bobby pins are how you pick locks in Fallout so you collect bobby pins and every time you want to pick a lock you use a bobby pin to to do that and you can you break them or you can run out of them if you don't have enough but traditionally in Fallout games they don't weigh anything so you can carry hundreds and hundreds of them but in um Fallout 76 apparently they weigh .1 PB is that right yes so 10 equal a pound oh and that's in this game that's a lot so somebody mailed a bunch of bobby pins to Todd Howard the president of Bethesda and said hey weigh

these because they did fix it for a while and then they brought it back yeah because oh man that's that's I feel like that's all the news I hear about Fallout 76 is that the oh the lest patch broke some [ __ ] that they fixed again like man I might have to go back and give it another try but I did not enjoy this game yeah I really did not it was just it's not the Fallout I wanted no it's like even like now they're talking about oh they there's the Skyrim together mod or whatever it's called like I don't know that I care about that anymore like well I just I like getting lost in these games myself yeah whereas for that 76 was just there was nothing in it it was just so quiet it's like Elder

Scrolls Online I wanted to like Elder Scrolls Online more but because it's a multiplayer game there's too many Elder Scrolls Online is better than Fallout because there was still NPCs to talk to yeah good point but the only the I feel like it breaks my immersion a bit when it's like oh we got to go fight this really dangerous guy and there's like 50 people just standing around dancing like you know at the at the final Battlefield it's just I don't know I get it but it's I don't know it's just a different kind of game yeah give us do what you did with Fallout 3 give us a full that New Vegas give us a different Fallout that's what we want yes and then combine Xbox Live and Game Pass together that would be good that would

be good if they did well that's the rumor that's going around what I had no idea that's not why I said it it's it's not um not confirmed real yet not but they are looking at combining it which I don't know it's a great idea the only thing that they need to do with Game Pass is has a yearly subscription yeah it's not right it's uh you still you pay every month and it's that's I find it really annoying 10 bucks uh it's 10 bucks yeah right it's just annoying yeah I uh I told you this didn't I I renewed my my gold subscription was coming up and so uh I think it lapsed actually it was like a day or two lapsed and I got it I logged on and it said pres subscribe now I have to check the exact price but I think I only paid like

50 bucks a a year and it was like you know if you if you subscribe at this price it'll lock it in and then you'll continue to pay that price so I was like okay and I don't know why it was so cheap because it's normally like 100 bucks right uh no you're thinking of Australia um yeah you might be right yeah I think you you've seen it was lower and you've thought yes that's good but because you're in America and it is cheaper there you you forgot conversion rates no no I mean I I know that I cuz I looked up you can buy the 12mth cards or whatever on um on the questionable websites and I looked those up and it was it was cheaper than those were so I know it's I know that it's still good

deal cheaper to buy it directly okay just maybe not mind-blowing yeah probably not it's not as mindblowing as you thought it was originally unfortunately oh but still if they can combine it and you can pay yearly for all Bring It On yeah I'm quite happy to P1 $150 to combine them both through a year yeah I canceled my game pass because I wasn't using wasn't playing games exactly I got more I got too many games that I actually own I can't justify a monthly Thief yeah you need to actually if you play games it's good if you don't eh what's the point in it I do play him I just don't play him enough and likee me I'm going to hit 600,000 for gamer score by the end of April oh yeah yep it's going to happen you Auto

standalone and a reboot I know how they keep making this so [ __ ] confusing cuz DC have no idea what they're doing did you watch The Joker trailer I did and it looks it looks pretty good I have a feeling this originally wasn't a joker script sure I think it's been adapted yeah it doesn't I mean it it looks like it's got nothing to do with anything else ever that they've released but uh it looks good but yeah I have a feeling that this would have been a good movie even without it being the Joker sure yeah just a guy you know guy who goes crazy and starts killing people like a close relationship with his mother like yeah it's just I I have a feeling it was just a script someone had written out they went throw the Joker on there and

we'll sign it slap the Joker on we'll pay you sure yeah I it looks good it yeah you're right though it could have well I guess we'll have to we'll have to see it I mean it's obviously set in in the Batman World cuz it's got Arkham asile and all that in it but also the Joker has a backstory which he doesn't traditionally and yeah like he no one it's always been that thing like he doesn't have a name he's just the Joker so it's and that's why different thing yeah like they''re just sort of they're making a standalone so nothing to do with their other movies mhm so sort like this is a prequel and thing they're making in yeah I think they need to just stop stop what you're doing sit back and regroup or movies kill kill you

DCU yeah and just make your standal loans and your everything separate cuz that been working for you mhm and maybe focus more on that have you seen Aquaman yet I still haven't seen it I still haven't seen it I have no interest in seeing it me neither really the only movie I do want to go see at the moment from DC is Shazam oh yeah yeah cuz it just looks funny I kind of want to see it I guess and I don't mind Zachary Levi no I like Zachary Levi he's fine he was in Chuck I like Chuck yeah that was a good show this is also sort of followup we talked before about Peter sarapin who is one he's an actor that I enjoy he uh he was the voice of Darth Maul in the prequel trilogy so well sorry in the Phantom manace just in the F he he didn't H Darth Mo did not hang around for long no

well he did but not in the movies and then not with Peter sarapin his voice he was Darth Maul in the Phantom Manis and then uh we talked about there's some funny stuff that happened around him not being invited to the premiere and and all that kind of jazz that's not an older episode but he has another sort of amusing and sad story in that he was in Solo they got him back to be Darth Maul in Solo and he was really excited they brought him in and they they had a whole black off area the set for for Ray Park to come in and and be Darth Maul again and he was like oh this really exciting they bringing the character back maybe I'll get to do more stuff and he went in and he recorded all the lines right he did the whole thing for for Darth Maul

in Solo told his kids guess who's going to be in the new Star Wars movie and they were all excited they were going to go see it with the kids friends and they weren't going to tell the kids' friends it was just going to be like a surprise cuz they knew knew that he was Darth ma in the original in and then uh he he heard that they had already had the the C and crew Premiere and he was like oh I didn't get invited odd wasn't invited well he didn't get invited the first time either so he was like oh all right and then he got an email a couple of days later saying oh by the way uh we replaced you with the guy who does the voice uh in the cartoon series so sorry about that which sort of does make sense but it would be nice to have yes

told made the decision before he came into record but I can see why they might have will bring him in because the audiences for the movies and the cartoons they can be separated they I know I understand they told them that for continuity it makes sense for the people are more familiar now with the voice from the cartoon and that's fine so just enjoy the $10,000 check we gave you exactly he said he sat down with um Ron Howard for about an hour to talk about the character which was one hour more than he sat down with George Lucas back in 1997 I think George Lucas said just make him sound evil yeah make him sound evil ah good old George it sucks for him but I it's understandable they asked for asked him did you go see the movie anyway and he said

here's a picture of it sort of and then I haven't used my VR headset in ages what VR headset do you have uh ocular Thrift oh do you the reason why I haven't played it is because it's not compatible with the windows VR games right so no achievements and also I was playing a lot of Poker and I was getting very close to smoking again what was happening when I was playing poker is you can you can buy like things that haven't like little thing ducks and things haven't front of you and you can also buy cigars and cigarettes and lighters like little squeaky duck is like your lucky your lucky token type of thing but like what you could buy cigarettes and I kept buying cigarette after cigarette after

cigarette and just sitting there and you've got to make the motion of lifting it up to your mouth and moving away and I just cuz you you've famously said the only reason you quit is because it's too expensive and if it wasn't expensive you would smoke again i' start up again tomorrow if I if I was affordable and so yeah it was just getting too bad and I was I I can't play this anymore well don't start because you won't be you won't be able to come to Disneyland if you smoke what how can I hang out with Donald as of next month May 2019 you cannot smoke in Disneyland theme parks the American ones and I like the fact it's including vaping cuz I find vaping worse than smoking yeah it smells funny and also like the the smoke I

don't know the smell seems to go further uh yeah I guess I don't know that might just be me yeah you just like the smell of cigarettes probably there are people like roll cigarettes and stuff and I'll go up when they're rolling cigarette before they go out and go pass it here so I can smell their tobacco but no I'm all for them stopping this yeah yeah uh you can you can go out to the resort and uh and smoke in certain areas and you can go outside but you can't smoke in the park anymore and they do have I mean it's not like you could smoke anywhere in there just to be clear they had smoking areas no you always smoking areas and they were getting cuz I've been been to Disney

quite a few times over the last I don't know 5 seven years and I could notic that they were the Mount of smoking areas were the minimizing every time I went yeah you had to go hunting for somewhere to stand and just breathe in secondhand smoke yes I still like doing that that's so OD I really do I can't stand it now no no no I don't like that stale smell I like the smell of smoke though see I'm I'm I'm one of those annoying ex smokers where I just can't handle some time you got no no no I'm not that bad it's just annoy I I'll I'll just my mother was my mother did that I'm I'm not like that but and but also I have I have literally no desire to to do it anymore so maybe it's something to do with that whereas

you seem to secretly want to uh want to smoke love to smoke and see like even when I've been traveling I've thought about look I'm going to smoke for the trip but then I know I won't I'll have to continue when I get back and it's it's not affordable don't do it not affordable you know it's getting close to like $2 a cigarette here if not already jeez man yeah that's that's now when I smoke I was smoking like two packets a day just don't smoke Luke just don't just don't do it it's easy just don't do it love it it's terrible for me and it would have will probably still lead to my demise somehow but you get nothing out of it you get nothing out of it I I'm ever going to yeah see no you don't anymore if you
