don't like when people say uh 2019 instead of 2019 because I mean like 100 years people weren't walking around going 1919 maybe they were and then there was one guy who was like GH stop it that's and that was you my great-grandfather right yeah no you guys sound pretentious back in uh back in 19 Yeah well yeah it just finally happened and now now for us it's still it's not quite 20 I was going to say we're not but for the listeners it will be well it will be once the listeners hear this cuz for for for me and Dan it's like hours away yeah that's right for you it's a day away yeah I've got about 26 hours enjoy the fre day of 2019 Matt 30 hours I can't do addition it's

your body does allow you get sick but the second you've got that little bit of downtime goes all right time to get some [ __ ] done they go to town on you that's what happened with me I was sick last week do you think maybe that this is something orchestrated by our employers why would my body do that to me my body wants the same things I do I assume and it's helping you get that by allowing go to work weird [ __ ] Matt it just wants me to play video games yeah that's right it's a thing like that's why a lot of people that if they retire like after working the one job for like a million years they died within months Jesus your theory from getting a cult to death very quickly I better get back to

work Jesus yeah but not the same job Matt you got to mix it up Jesus as this is the uh the end of year episode then um to give a little wrap up of 2019 um by letting you all know the most searched terms on PornHub 2019 oh perfect actually I'm not going to click through I wna I want to be surprised yeah well um you may you may or might not be surprised that the most searched celebrity on PornHub and this is a bit of followup um is B deline who we've reviewed on this show reviewed discussed we've discussed on this show five stars would look at again should you do one with the bath water yes mhm yeah yeah did that did you order that no no I did get around to it

yeah no I was never going to cuz now look I like do I think she's funny I think good on her she's taken advantage of of people being silly and I think she I think she's funny look she's um she's the most searched celebrity and she is the number fourar term overall well she is now mate yeah searched person on Pornhub she doesn't even have any porn on there that's what that's my favorite thing about her is that like I know like she's mostly naked but she's not like she's never she doesn't do porn or anything she just does like those stupid videos where she says like cream on my butt and she sprays cream on her butt like stuff like that and then what saying no I mean that's is that what it is they're all like that like the title

will be something really filthy and then when you go through it's her doing some stupid thing like like I told there was one that was like um PewDiePie inside Bel deline and then she just eats a photo of him right like yeah okay she's funny extreme teas well she's number four overall number one searched term uh was amateur okay everyone's into the amateur stuff number two isn't that just allive born Hub yeah well I I wouldn't know I live in Singapore um number two search alien what alien alien alien this is a new trend I'm not aware of is no you are you you you you know what the osit is is that what this is I wonder if this has got something to do with the storm Area

mic not actual you can get that on YouTube well you can but then you know go just I can't I'm trying to get the mind of someone who's who's going to pornh hum for ASMR I'm just thinking that they're probably there and they don't want to be on YouTube because they might want to just flip over to something else just to finish on and yeah so it's just easy to be accidentally end up on PewDiePie oh no no no it's too late too late you came PewDiePie you guys heard of uh 8D audio have you guys encountered this wait 8D audio yeah maybe not 8D audio what's 8D audio look

I don't know the science behind it Matt maybe you can explain it but it's basically where you you [ __ ] crazily pan between your left and right speakers um this phenomenon on the on the internet right now of remixing like pop songs uh into this like crazy thing but if you listen to it loud and with headphones it feel like s is likeing laps around your head it's actually it's a gimmick but it's it's quite interesting to like the Matrix like bullet time yes yeah yeah if a song was it was in bullet time wow yeah I've seen um there's that oh God I I haven't watched the show but it's like the show that's on Netflix about the stalker or something and I've seen that the actor

from that was doing some ASMR thing and then he was doing jump on between two mics maybe that's what he was doing you know what I just saw a weird video of the guy from that show and I maybe maybe he was doing what you're talking about is it you no no God no no no no I I bet the name of the television show oh uh yes in that case yes you know it's funny we're watching that and turns to me at one point and says why can't you be a more boyfriend like that I'm like he's stalk he's not just paying a lot of attention to it he's [ __ ] stalking up yeah what is it specifically that she wants you to do he basically finds out everything about you covertly and then just becomes everything you want in a man guess so I

mean I wouldn't yeah I guess that'd be all right for the for but is well if you're attractive it's fine I think yeah that's that's the unfortunate thing that's right yeah yeah being bold and being a stalker is just a matter of uh handsomeness isn't it yes like um uh what's the [ __ ] 50 Shades of Gray yeah wouldn't know Matt didn't well there's a there's a bit in I I made it like I don't know five chapters into the book and then quit but there was a bit where he um he meets her and then just starts tracking her phone and then rescues her from being harassed at some bar because he was tracking her phone and she's like oh what a hero and I was like what wait what

that's how we're spinning this also I guess he's lucky that she's really into like if he's doing all this weird crazy you know stalker [ __ ] is it like the point is that she's into it right but that's I think so well I didn't get that far but that you know that's a big gamble like it really is you know cuz if she's into it or she's doing the correct thing and calling the cop yeah that's right I'm just gonna be a real creep just on the off chance she's into real creeps well maybe maybe I could read the rest of the book but probably not probably not listen which one of you guys is playing Conan Exiles oh I put this in here because I haven't been playing it but I want to after something that I saw so when we played right we had a little village together yeah of sorts

and uh and I had a house and you had a house and Luke had a HOV yep yep what do you need a house for and then eventually Matt and I both had two houses we had summer houses as well Luke still had his H I did a lot of mining for you guys sometimes I even saw Luke's body asleep outside the H he didn't even go into it couldn't be bothered but I saw a a video uh you know recommended in on YouTube video that I clicked through and it was castles that people have built in there and I was like [ __ ] hell maybe we maybe we should have stuck with that because people are building some cool [ __ ] yeah yeah yeah absolutely I I watch a lot of those actually I watch a lot is there a mode where you don't have to like if you play on if you play on PC

there is um there's there's ways to modit and I think a lot of them do that you can set things up on um the console as well I believe like God mode and things like that I don't care I just want resources to build this stuff without having to chop down you can do that as well that's how I got most of the achievements right okay oh well maybe I could be play this again there's just a console that you can bring up and yeah you can just if if you are thinking of doing it let me know because there's one more achievement I need and I need help for it jump back into this game in a heartbeat you can ride horses now I just need to Kill You by standing on your head I'll let you I'll I'll allow it in the game you yeah yes yeah yeah yeah all right give it a shot cuz uh yeah I said

I saw this video and I was like [ __ ] hell I didn't really consider that you could get that fancy with it but I guess eventually you can but I don't spend the time getting all the resources to do it well also you may have to get some DLC because there are themed packs that um basically each DLC uh is basically just new armor for you and your horse and um new building materials so if you see a lot of like you know you can see like a you know a Chinese temple um you know that guy bought the Chinese DLC right okay well let uh let's let's look into that we have to pay for a server though don't we yeah we do have to pay for a server I I also wish that um that you could jump

into an existing game you know like we'd have to start completely from scratch oh I see what you're saying like I couldn't just invite you guys to come and live at the house I currently sure yeah we have to get visas and Stu and such try yeah oh well I'll uh maybe I'll look into servers yeah well if you look into that I'll look into reinstating my uh my my gold account yeah very good I will find cheats all right we each have homework now we know why Luke's [ __ ] gamer score is always so high yeah it's no no it's it's all a legitimate way to get yeah see he we've talked about this before Luke's opinion is right if Microsoft lets you do it it's not cheating yeah there are rules on the website that I use you can't hack a game

to do it but if the game allows it it's fine okay like if you playing doom and you did you know IG D or whatever the [ __ ] I can't remember it I I can know how to type it I can't remember what the actual letters are they wouldd yeah that wouldn't be cheating and then ID KFA which was the the cuz um I got all the achievements in uh Fallout 3 on the PC just by typing achievement one achievement two achievement three I had to do that up to 70 times and that's not cheating no that's fine that's a strange rule but okay and then I got a refund on the game oh come on no no the reason I got the refund was I was actually playing through but then every time I went inside a building it would crash on me how convenient and that's where I went

well fine I'll just unlock everything and then return the game fine I was looking I was enjoying playing it again ah it's a good game uh well on that note I guess I I finished the out of Worlds the other day uh a that's a great game too [ __ ] excellent game I actually really want to play through it again because I could do things completely differently I think cuz even with even on that first planet you want the choice that you have to make it's not just uh black and white this is good and this is bad no no and yeah you can do some pretty it seems like that the differences can be significant um depending on what you do so I'm Keen to try it out and then yeah there's also the fact that you can just if you decide you play through you just

go through and murder everyone yes yeah well I I did a lot of uh of the kind of Charisma persuasion kind of skills cuz I've never really done that in the game before and it was so much fun like I didn't even fight that much I would just talk my way out of things and uh it's nice like it's a fun way to play it so I would I maybe play through it again Dan have you tried it out I think you'd like it no I haven't but I do want to it's on the list worth it I I have heard that there's talk of a DLC for it yes I could be wrong though because there are planets that you don't go to and they will be in the DLC there are planets on the map that you never go to so and there will be a second one as well oh good which I'm I'm looking forward to the second one because they might be a

only thing I didn't like about it was it didn't feel as open as like mean but some of yeah cuz it's skip between it zones but some of the zones are big man like monarch in particular is big but others yeah I just the only thing is cuz I need to do this Mission I go to this planet I do this then I go back it was there's no sort of wandering around lost and that's what I liked the only thing I'm a little I would like to see changed and new one that bigger bigger Maps Okay that's fair yeah cuz I you're right though because Monarch was huge and then I had uh Sila that other planet that I went to and it was Tiny and I was like oh yeah it was just yeah you just went here to do these couple things and leave yeah that surprised me but whatever but yeah

but that still it still doesn't stop it being a great game no it's fantastic it might be my game of the year to be honest it was fantastic really enjoyed it and uh I believe two of us have been playing another game too uh if my eyes don't deceive me and I I picked this up after you pointed out that it was available did a couple of you get in trouble for checking out a particular girl's butt what what that's what I remember of that game where you meet the the the female the tech Ive at the start she turns around and walks away and then she stop looking at my butt yeah you're right that did happen that did happen yeah yeah yeah we're talking of course

about Blade Runner 1997 uh Westwood Studios I don't know why that's the one thing I remember about that game I know why I know why cuz you like can't get away with it in a game either yeah is it as good as it's [ __ ] great you remember yeah yeah because that's also got multiple endings I believe like how much multiple endings while watching it I I'm not uh I've actually just just put it on uh and and not really played it yet so I'm I'm looking forward to having some time and just really playing through all right cool I won't say too much because I don't want to I know you know it's weird to say because I know it's what 20 years old now but um it's [ __ ] great like to have it's it's very open like there's a bunch of

different cases and stuff you solve it's like I don't know yeah it's it's really well done if you like Blade Runner and you like adventure games [ __ ] get it what like I mean I tried so hard to get this uh running you know I was downloading old PC emulators and stuff and I just could I just could never get it to work I have I have the old disc images somewhere on a hard drive I was just as well yeah yeah same same so this is this is yeah really exciting yeah for all that free time I've got I assume that was sarcasm yes it was um look we're used to um we're very used to games being patched these days um but uh did you guys know that movies at the cinema are also being patched like uh like Star Wars George Lucas I was say he ped that

right yeah well I mean uh the movie Cats specifically right now um if you saw that in the first week uh you saw some shitty special effect that weren't there if you saw it in the second week cuz they they re-released it really and said to all the cinemas hey use use this use this print instead huh like uh to what degree like a lot of this or or just like little things apparently they rushed it to release and uh they took an extra week to to keep doing some of the effects and then they just they patched it oh in one of the scenes actress Judy Dench can be seen with human hand instead of her cat porw and so they have to go in and fix a bunch of [ __ ] that's crazy I don't know

what's more terrifying I've been seeing a human hand or not seeing a human hand yeah so I I don't know why they rushed this out like they could have who was who was asking for this exactly could have take another six months no I'm not going to see this P buddy to see this the trailer creeped me the [ __ ] out I know I have no interest in it well I have some interest in it like morbid interest but I'll watch it later maybe probably not but maybe like so strange well I mean it's not not being reviewed very well so no I probably won't go out of my way tell you what though uh Sonic's starting to grow on me you mean the the new version of him or just like they put a new trailer right I haven't seen a new trailer yet but no

just just the idea of this just a photo it's just I'm probably going to go see it photo inquir photo of a completely digital character photo of him yeah yeah when's it come out um it's I forget I think cuz it was meant to be out now already I think I think it might be March or April now yeah because they changed it okay all right so you're excited no I wouldn't say excited like crazy you're excited for Jim Carrey admit it gagging for it yeah that's what he's in conversation with someone the other day about what the [ __ ] Jim Carrey doing these days and I was like he's doing something I can't remember what it was it's Sonic the [ __ ] Hedgehog Sonic yeah yeah but see Sonic I mean like Sonic famously and we've talked about it on this podcast like they released a trailer everyone

said that looks garbage so they they redid the the effects but like cats was out when they released it you know like it was already people had already seen it well they weren't happy with it so maybe he worth a shot and so come back give us more money and you'll like this one was it Jame Dane Judy Den's hand that was putting people off probably not likeably not I was really enjoying it until I saw a hand GH yeah that's right took me right out of it ruined the magic it's not a cat at all the the thing is though with these kind of all CGI characters like um right oh yeah yeah well no but I the uh the what they what they've always called the liveaction remake of The Lion

King which came out this year yes um is up for best animated yeah well it's up for best animated film at the Golden Globes and it's like you can't have it both ways it can't be a liveaction film and you submit it to best animated film cuz they they have to submit it they don't just get nominated they have to does it have any liveaction elements the pl might be live action I don't know they might be real photos in the background not animated then is it or did was Roger Rabbit animated film partly I would say Roger rert has the rare criteria to be considered both H but I li King was more animated than live action like it I suppose so they yeah I I mean I it's not not one

character was I'd have to watch it to check but I don't want to watch it cuz wasn't Lady of the [ __ ] like that as well they're all digital they are humans in lady in the [ __ ] though or is it only animals uh this those those creepy chefs trying to make the dogs kiss in the in the the back alley like hey let's make it these dogs [ __ ] makeing them a spaghetti yeah kiss kiss him get to the camera yeah fil it real good yeah I'm a jing offer right now yeah this is not a weird at [Laughter] all I don't know what that where is that film set that's I'm not sure that was an accurate I don't know probably America but I think they were at an Italian restaurant so I think it counts oh yeah there was a Meer ball yeah on a

spaghetti and Siamese cats that are probably not in the remake because I think they're racist stereotypes yeah I know they're not cuz I Jenna watched it and she was like they got rid of that song I'm like yeah of course they did yeah yeah yeah they're just trying to rewrite their history um is that what American Gods are doing uh is that why they sacked Orlando Jones in the third season this is I don't know what's going on here and I don't I mean he he says yeah he says he was fired because he was he was too much for the for the people in charge the white man making the decisions didn't like him that's but isn't they just coming out and going no we didn't fight he's just well we don't

we're going in a different direction for this season yeah the next season is the part of the book if you've read the book and you know spoilers I guess but it's the I mean it's not really spoilers shadow goes and stays in a little town for a while and it's you know it's it's a really great part of the book but I mean Mr NY is not in it so I mean not only that in the show Shadow is also played by a black man true yeah so but I think I think his his implication is that it was his attitude they didn't like more than his but but I mean he didn't get to write his character's lines surely yeah so he's saying his argument is that they just don't like angry black men right but then I mean they that's they wrote the show so I mean but yeah like the what the way they

were way their response was really got the impression that like he's not here but he's he's coming back well is he now cuz [ __ ] hell he's really like the M of the bus if that's the case once you once you do something like that can they bring you back like if how you going to treat the show I mean yeah I don't know cu the other thing too is I guess he has the show doesn't really follow the books the book the book sorry singular exactly anyway because it's no definitely you know it takes some Liberties so I mean they could easily keep him in and well because and because his his complaint was they also got rid of the not got rid of because they not got didn't get rid of them they just aren't in this season is how they there what they're saying is the the cab driver the the Gin but like

mate he's also was barely in the book yeah his role in Series has been massively inflated so I just don't know what to think about this and because I mean the cast is very diverse in general so I'm not I'm but then again I don't know what's going on behind the scenes so that's one of those things we won't know the full story no no he's very upset and I I worry that he's probably not going to be back now regardless although maybe they'll have they will bring him back because they'll be like fu can have to now don't we yeah maybe so who knows watch out for season 4 starring Luke Alderson yep I'll do it as a young as Mr as Mr Nancy no I wouldn't be Mr Nancy I'd be one of the other

characters you play L yeah oh that guy's quite good though you could be his brother I wouldn't want I want him to be in there yeah okay it's him and Lukas a kind of Buddy comedy yeah you could replace what's her name I don't know I haven't seen the show uh what's the Aussie girl's name forgot her name uh Emily something Emily no brownie Emily Browning right yeah yeah yeah you can play who's her role has also been inflated for the TV show Yes actually she's quite good in as well so no she's excellent but I'm just saying in the book she if they followed the book exactly she'd all to do yeah totally right well there's another show that I've been what I binged real quick uh

and I know that you guys have watched it and uh I also finished it and I'm a little upset it finished guys guys I am only a few episodes in oh no I'm I'm loving it I'm loving this but can we can do spoiler free we are talking about The Witcher yes now I watched the first 20 minutes I went this wasn't for me and turned it off what happens in the first 20 minutes that you didn't like it doesn't he kill a [ __ ] Kiki MOA in a swamp yeah I don't actually care for fighting stuff like that all right that's very specific personally I don't really like fighting Kiki MOA they're [ __ ] giant spider monsters [ __ ] underwater in a swamp while a deer watches that I will then eat but then after you guys said no it's good I went

back and I binged watched the ire thing it really gets a lot better mate it's [ __ ] great from the start but I'm glad I'm glad you're warmed to it I I don't care for fight scenes man the fight scene at the end of the first episode is [ __ ] great phenomenal yeah do you know why because they just kind of sit back and let you see it and he's just [ __ ] they're just obviously very well choreographed and it looks [ __ ] great yeah really good it's good and what I love about this the thing I love the most about it is that they don't shy away from the fantasy elements right they really just embrace it as opposed to something like Game of Thrones which was at its best when the fantasy elements were just myth in the background uh and I thought you know

suffered a little bit once they started going to towards it but this one is like [ __ ] early 80s [ __ ] Legend you know it's that level of of fantasy um that I think we we miss yeah there's little the creatures showing up places yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah it's like [ __ ] Jim Hansen [ __ ] yes and I got to say I was I was wrong about Henry caval he is yeah [ __ ] he's got a lot of Comedy that he brings to it as well yeah he's really good I know like I think the thing he says most often is and it but he says so much with it mhm yeah oh and he says [ __ ] all the time too [ __ ] yeah yeah uh one thing good I I didn't like was Tris just because she didn't have red hair

yes yeah well I like people with red hair yeah I'm a little biased but well I mean I got to say uh they didn't give Tris a whole lot to do so at this point I feel like there's no question I mean team yennefer because yennefer [ __ ] kicked all sorts of ass in this first season so uh yeah they're G to have to step up tris's game if they want to have that same kind of you like they with the game it was always like team TR team yenifer no competition in the show man it's Yen I was hoping he'd [ __ ] that little um that little dwarf girl from the first episode and then she told him to [ __ ] off the dwarf Oh you mean just the child is that a child yeah you can't tell the difference anymore I thought it was a thought it was a sexy dwarf there are some sexy dwarves later on

a whole team of them yeah yeah well the end of I think it's the end of the third episode where there [ __ ] Aristocrats in camping are um ordering we around a dwarf and then oh yeah SP he spills something and gets yelled at so he just [ __ ] stabs the [ __ ] out of no my favorite bit is when Siri's like like oh my shoes are ruined and then she goes oh get some shoes and she goes to the dwarf signals to him to give him her give her his and he's like [ __ ] hell yeah it's good show yeah recommended listeners if you haven't watched it listeners you've got till next week I'll finish it you guys can finish it as well and then yeah you should finish it we'll do a spoiler review next week that's great really not as many episodes as it sort of ends

quickly I found yeah not enough episodes like it just ended I like no no no where's the rest like there's there's more and it will be more but well I remind you guys that none of us were convinced this was going to work and we're all eating our hats right now absolutely pointy little hats yeah I was confused at first why they were calling dandelion jasia but I discovered that's cuz in the books in the original polish his name was Jia and um for some reason both the game and when they translated the books into English they just changed it down cuz apparently both words mean a yellow flower so so I don't know whether the game came out first and was popular in in English so they translated the books because I know not all the books were translated uh but the game's not

made by polish studio right it is yes yeah B that reminds me their next game comes out very soon now cyber Punk comes out in April for my birthday very soon thank you very much mat I assume he organized that for me they're nice guys y so another TV show that I assume we've all seen the finale of uh although it's it two it's too early to talk spoilers for this isn't it it's not when this comes out it abides by Disney's one week rule all right so we can talk about season one of baby Yoda in totality I think we can yes all right my God the last episode was the best episode directed by taer white TD yeah the last two episodes together were oh yeah great fin fantastic yeah know yeah only one thing I think that should be

changed M those two Scout Troopers needed to have more gruesome death after what they did to baby Yoda they both punched him that was great and not like like a little punch that was a full-on punch yeah yeah how long's it been since it moved oh I don't know you just want to look at it just when that guy was trying to shoot that thing on the ground oh I know and he just kept missing and then his mate was like come on and he shot at it and he also missed what a great scene and last week they'd also had a um a little quip at that in the I know you guys weren't so keen on the on the Prison Break episode oh yeah but uh we he like you know I'm I'm a great Marksman I used to work for the Empire and then he gives him a look and he's like I wasn't a stormtrooper

smartass yeah man I know I mean we probably have talked about this but how the [ __ ] did Dave predicted that Kyle weathers was going to be in Star Wars I know it's so crazy and he's just being Kyle weathers like yeah yeah he's he's eating me he's trying to eat me [ __ ] great show so unfortunately we we now have need to wait till I don't know sometime next year for season two 2020 so it's not too bad okay it's 2020 next week so that's or tomorrow yeah but we have to wait till fall which is yeah what towards the end of the year and everyone's saying Disney plus now has a problem in that there's no reason for anyone to stay subscribe to it so we'll see we'll see how that goes I mean they have Star Wars but who doesn't own

Star Wars already like honestly I'm struggling to find something to watch on there now cuz forced myself to watch several movies I'm thinking about watching the Clone Wars or something you it I am too because just cuz of that fin I was like I guess I got to watch this now so yeah I mean are we going to we going to talk about the dark sa I guess we are so yeah the dark saber shows up and I was like oh that's that [ __ ] thing that's in the cartoons yeah that we don't know anything about yeah so I guess I need a look but but doesn't I've been informed thank you Nate on Twitter that doesn't the lore in the cartoons especially for the mandalorians deviate from what's in the Mandalorian like don't have their helmets off left right and Center in the cartoons I don't

know speaking of which we seen his face so I guess for a day that was one thing I didn't like I think they could have continued on with us not seeing his face yeah he showed up for a for the paycheck and then uh yeah then went back to his play yeah yeah I don't know it just to me I don't think there's any reason for us to see his face no I they could have had that whole scene and just done the whole thing where they just cut away we see the helmet off and that's it yeah it was I mean it was fairly nice I guess the only only thing is just to establish that it's just a human dude under there but I mean we kind of knew that from when he was a kid though in the flashbacks yeah so yeah I don't know Hispanic human yeah because from the from a story perspective he stay he was

G oh I'm GNA die and then the Droid was like I am not a living thing so he takes the helmet off puts it back on and then he's in the sewers again he could have just gone with him in the first place and skipped that whole thing yeah like it didn't that that whole scene was just to show his face mhm CU caught up to them already next time they cut that's yeah that's what I mean it was almost like it yeah it was just kind of put in there just for it so I don't know maybe it'll come up again but I don't see how cuz the spoilers droid's dead so unless baby Yoda snip back and took a peek baby Yoda's probably seen it [ __ ] baby Yoda is so good when he stops that [ __ ] flamethrower dude I was like yeah you go baby Yoda yeah man then he pass yeah then he has a

little nap so good oh I I love him play a whole year so there's another Star Wars TV show coming which I guess Disney plus will then you will have to subscribe again for this and uh and they're looking I think Dan you mentioned this earlier m they're looking for young lukee Skywalker for the Obi-Wan show and that makes me nervous no why is he in there I don't I don't have him having Adventures that's no because in New Hope he barely knows who [ __ ] Obi-Wan is yeah well actually in the in the books and stuff and even used to be that obiwan used to hang around a fair bit when he was

younger and then it was until stage where goes not you got to leave him alone now yeah so it sounds really creepy yeah what was he doing what are you doing hanging around in my boy yeah you need to [ __ ] off I just want to show him [ __ ] desert I just need to show him something you're not showing him when he's old enough you can show him yeah that's right but I've got something that I want to give him I don't allow room but they to be looking for this it means that they have haven't learned from what they've just done with the Mandalorian is people want stuff in the universe but not around the characters we know yeah people did like it means they haven't it means they haven't learned from The Phantom Menace we need to see the [ __ ] characters as

children to be fair people were clamoring for this [ __ ] Obi-Wan show so if they got the wrong message from that that's the fans fault not theirs everyone everyone was like yeah [ __ ] obiwan people were clamoring you know who was clamoring for it [ __ ] uh mcregor McGregor yeah but like cuz yeah it's not going to be you and McGregor being Obi-Wan going around having Adventures like he did in the cartoons and the movies it's going to be him sitting in the desert watching a small boy this is what you asked for people I think it is going to be odd though if it's like like after the events of the films as we know them now Obi-Wan's keeps showing up and he's like come on we're going to train him to be a Jedi and I's like mate [ __ ]

off like have you seen it can't it also can't be that like Luke's in the in the background and OB Obi-Wan's just running around holding off Stormtroopers and stuff so just watching him that makes no sense either like he stops like bounty hunters from finding out where he is and all this stuff that makes no sense to the movie either because if they had an if yeah if they knew where he had an inkling that he was there he just rock up plus they've made no attempt to hide that he's a Skywalker no he's kept his [ __ ] I know that's so people complain about the oh the new one had some silly stuff in it does it maybe you maybe you're not familiar with Star Wars as a series it's got lots of silly stuff you have to just run with

it yeah well anyway so you going to audition Luke you've been doing your acting class can you can you act as a child I think I can yeah is that why a lot of acting there is that why you got your nephew there to get some pointer on being a youngster oh he yes he's gone oh oh that's that was ominous dramatic yeah now he went back to Sydney oh right fair enough that's the story I'm sticking with it I mean this is this will be on the internet Luke are [Laughter] you so none of us have seen r a Skywalker again uh no but not I mean not for not because I don't want to just cuz I haven't had a chance to but I I haven't been able to leave the house

it's just been too hot I have the opposite problem it's too cold but I did discover that um uh we we discussed last week that there is a a very brief kiss between two women in uh in it at the end and Dan you you I don't know what you're talking about yeah you missed it uh and that's cuz they did remove it for the Singapore release knew it knew it y Singapore's not even the worst man I mean I'm sure it was removed in Malaysia as well they REM they removed 45 minutes out of the uh Bohemian rap city movie um because they removed any mention or Illusion to Freddy Mercury being a homosexual like half the movie yeah and then he lived happily ever after but yeah I imagine that your version was

probably less jarring just because the like I like I said the way that that kiss was inserted was very like obvious so right so I'm looking at a screenshot of it now and I can't see how this would possibly fit into that sequence where everyone's just giving each other high fives and stuff and it just old ladies [ __ ] going for it yeah I I mean look I I I think every is pointing out that it's quite obvious that it was put in there in a way that so that it could be removed again like it's and it's quite obvious that that's what it is when you see it so whatever I'm it's a shame that they couldn't actually just integrate it properly we want some more brother and sister kissing yeah yeah brother and sisters fine two women gross unless they

sisters then it's fine and then uh We've also I mean there there's two bits of uh of uh followup I guess uh Rose was uh you know not in Rise of Skywalker very much uh apparently apparently she was supposed to be but and they shot scenes of her that they had to remove because Carrie Fisher's performance wasn't wasn't up to scratch which is weird considering they had that years ago and they yeah they could have just tailored it to I also reject this to a point because I also think that she could have just had all of Dominic Monahan's lines because there was absolutely no reason for him to be there y yeah they could have rolled several just nonsense

characters up and giving her more to do yeah yeah so yeah Finn technically didn't need to meet those ex Stormtroopers like it could have been Rose and the rest of the resistance that were fighting with Finn at the end yeah I mean really if if you wanted to yeah anyway whatever we I we don't know how the decisions got made so it's not really fair to come at it this way but by a committee watching a focus group is my guess yeah exactly so I mean yeah I like to think that hopefully they didn't mean to you know just be shitty to the character or to k r TR but it really just seemed that they probably did have a big Ro but yeah just because they couldn't get it cuz if imagine if we had have had the scenes with her and lar

there but it was terrible look Le looked terrible then we'd all be complaining about that oh yeah well the writer has said this week too that he wishes that uh rise of Skywalker had been two movies which I feel like is a sort of subtle way of of saying what we're all thinking and what we may have I think we said last week was that maybe he wishes that last Skywalker had been this movie and uh and and then split out into another one you know what I mean yeah last j i I mean yeah not R yeah I think we would all have been okay with that although except for critics critics really don't like this movie yeah I don't get that and they liked the Last Jedi fine I guess if you were just looking him as a standalone

thing maybe I I guess I just can't do that I can't not look at them within the context of all the others like no cuz well you're not supposed to no but I don't know that that is that what the problem is is that why I didn't like it like cuz people say oh you know this aspect of it was good this was good I'm like yeah okay that sounds fine but I mean I just I still didn't like it I don't know I thought the casino stuff was [ __ ] but I don't understand why other people don't it's weird the casino I still don't understand that whole part of the movie they got a parking ticket and then they didn't find the guy they were supposed to find who was supposed to be one of the one one of the only people who could do what they had to do they found some other random guy in a

[ __ ] prison cell and then they oh yeah I can do it oh cool and off we go could didn't have anyone on the ship that could do it just not I may not be the hero you deserve but I am the only person in this room right now do you know what actually somebody said I read this as a quote I don't know if I said this last week or not I read this quote and they said that Ryan Johnson favors theme over story and I was like oh that's fairly okay like Ryan like you point that out and everyone's like yeah yeah yeah but like it's about what it represents like the the fact that the guy betrayed them and those kind stuff yeah yeah but what was he he was the wrong guy he's in the prison yeah don't worry about that like I can't not worry

about that yeah but the theme the theme is what's important to Ryan Johnson perhaps perhaps that's why I'm glad something's important to him I gota I Gotta See Knives Out yeah I think I'm to I have to know I have to know I didn't mind it I've heard some good things about it actually coming out of the reviews so yeah I've heard very good things but I just I still have the feeling that a lot of it was cut H with the knives that were out yes that's why he actually renamed it the last minute cuz I need I need to signal to the audience that they' [ __ ] chopped this movie in half yes the sensors got their knives out oh uh speaking of of chopped up movies and

whatnot Um Zack Snider uh we've been talking about the Snider cut and this is this this story just keeps going um he just W not let it die no he says I mean this article the premise of this article is that the film's not not finished but that's actually not what not what he was saying the the what I get out of this is Zack Snider says his version of the Justice League is finished completely he just would tweak it forever if you wanted to it's it's the score and the the special effects are done so um there's a theory now that this is going to be uh launched with HBO Max in April and that you'll get to get to see it I mean I don't know if that's true or not

interesting but Zack Snider certainly seems to think it's coming out soon look I if they've done the CGI that's a big investment in it yeah it's weird thing to do to be honest I was uh I was very skeptical at first and then I started to really warm to this and then the other day he released on Twitter some some screenshots from it and I remembered oh that's right it's just the Justice League and it's it sucked as a movie so I'm not sure just a different edit of it is going to really it's it's [ __ ] twice as long Dan I mean it's 4 hours long when I when I was watching it and I was looking at Cyborg and I was thinking what a [ __ ] character I wasn't thinking like I wish I had four times as much screen time with my biggest complaint is that it was

just not long enough yeah yeah more steeping wolf please so I I don't know I'm uh I mean look [ __ ] it if they put this out I'll watch it uh yeah I'll watch it too I'm I'm fascinated by it now like I might not have movies to see if they had done this at the time I probably wouldn't have but now I'm actually kind of like a little interested in this yeah well we have to see it now it's been hyp up so much like I haven't seen the I know there's an extended you know director's cut of Batman vers Superman I haven't watched that so and because I mean it just came out and there was no fuss about it but this is a little so we'll see well or maybe we'll never see who knows tell you what I watch this before I watch an avatar

sequel James camon thinks you're wrong James Cameron thinks you want he says you want them I don't James I don't if you're listening I don't no one does no I I I think they got the first one's going to come out it's not going to do as well and they're going to go we've made a terrible mistake this I I found this article quite interesting because it's a little give me a little bit of insight into James Cameron that I hadn't really considered before and that's his the business angle that he looks at these films basically talking about how they did a whole bunch of research and focus groups and stuff to decide what to make the sequels about like like fundamentally what to make the creative process yeah and and

then like like what does the market want like fundamentally and then and then he wrote a story around that and I was just like [ __ ] [ __ ] maybe he is a genius like and but that's like getting a bot to write a script like do you know what I mean like well I'm sure a bot could have written Avatar I'm not convinced it didn't so we'll see I don't know um I don't know it's just interesting because when I think about I I most films probably have an element of this and I I get but I tend to think in my head you know like there's some Visionary who comes up with an idea and then you write the screenplay and then the director touches it and it gets changed a little bit but then it's at the end of the process when all the hands come in and [ __ ] with it whereas it seems like James Cameron from
