that I ever got I think is when I was playing Mass Effect to and we may have some Mass Effect news later on in the episode so it's a bit of foreshadowing but um good work uh one of those little aliens came out with a shield with a little eye holes in it and I shot him in the face through the eye holes and it came by letter box achievement unlocked and I was like yes there you go that's the only one I've been really proud of well on the true achievements website there's actually they're starting a competition soon which they do this sort of every year and it's a great true achievement score challenge so you basically register and then they'll they you get people get eliminated every week mhm so if you they get 100 people to go this week 20 the bottom 20 will be

eliminated and it goes off the gamer score that you get so what you're saying is I've already been eliminated I mean we might as I might as well be what part of my Xbox is in a shipping container somewhere in the South China Sea do you not understand well what that there's also that but no the reason why you can't join is you need to have an true treatment account for three months oh to join so I want to make a team so I'm asking Matt would you be willing to join me sure I don't know how much help I'll be but yeah why not it it's I wish it's a bit of fun no that's fine I'm happy to do it I wish that um that see I accidentally got a bunch of achievements the other day uh which I'm sure you probably noticed cuz you're you yes yeah yeah cuz I

was I I finished work and I got a notification on my iPad on Twitch that said uh Mike and Jerry from Penny Arcade were streaming uh they stream um Motocross manager sometimes I was like I'll pop that on okay yep so I popped that on and I was kind of half watching it and I was like you know what I should do while I'm half watching this what I used play Minecraft exactly and I was like Minecraft on the Xbox is free now so I opened Minecraft on the Xbox and yeah so I'm pottering around and I got I don't know how many achievements Luke how many achievements did I get I'm nine achievements yeah I got nine achievements and then um so I'm I'm there playing I'm just because Minecraft is kind of like a Zen experience for me I don't normally do the whole

multiplayer Minecraft thing unless I'm specifically going to do that so I'm there y I'm there doing my thing and then this message pops up from uh friends son who is uh I don't know how old he is he's young he's like he's the Minecraft demographic potentially sing he want to play with you double digits by now but anyway he just this message just pops up in Minecraft and says hi Matt and then I'm like what and then he's in the game and I was like oh this is awkward because actually I actually I have to go and make dinner now and also I don't want to play multiplayer I just I was just goofing around and so I've had this happen before as well I'll be in a game and then someone will join me and it's sort of like I don't want to be that person who's leaving just because You'

rocked up but I was going right that's why our private server was so good when we had our private server yeah you could drop in and out I was unemployed at the time so I was pretty much nocturnal I did I did really enjoy just mining could building considered moving to perlick I enjoyed just logging on every evening and seeing what Luke had left me in my in the chest in my little house yes yeah y good time I just I had all of that stuff and you guys build I mean that also happened when we played Conan I know I just remembered logging into Conan and because in Conan when you log out you're actually asleep on the floor and so Luke had buil this little [ __ ] lean to next to our mansions and then but then You' log in and he just be

asleep on the floor outside in the dirt well yeah I I I I I do enjoy those I enjoy playing with you but I just don't build who cares about house I just love that both Dan and I built these we had bedrooms and then we I'm going to L off I got to go to bed yeah yeah I got to be in my I got to be sitting on my Throne yeah I'm not going to sleep in the dirt with Luke I just remember dirt to share cuz we had our little village we had Village and in the middle were you know like our slaves yeah I was I was trying to find a better way to say it but yes our slaves were chained up in the middle I think everybody knows that that game has those because it's been controversial Soh but then once I went exploring and I found a house and I was like what is this house

and I went in and Matt had built himself a house like away from our village and I was like [ __ ] you man I did remember when we we had the Minecraft server and then I built a house in the Valle overa and Dave found it and he was Furious and he he like trashed my [ __ ] house yeah yeah Dave burned down my house uh because I made what I would consider a a piece of modernist architecture uh that that he called a blight on a landscape and a monstrosity and so he just poured lava into my house and burnt it down I do miss those maybe I should play multiplayer minecra although I'm not sure my friend yeah I'm not sure my friend's child will uh will be on the same level as far as he's probably if I'd left him a lot better yeah I was

going to say if i' left him in there I'd probably have to Taj Mahal where my my little H used to be so yeah I do think about playing it every now and again and then I remember I've got so many other games to play it is a Time burglar but it is if you're happy to just get lost in Minecraft Minecraft is a great way to just well that's thing like I do enjoy it but as I said I don't like the building and just mining for no reason it's not fun if if we were playing together I I would probably enjoy that even just mining to give you guys stuff I feel the same way back Conan M if you guys told me that you wanted to get back into Conan by the way they're releasing expanded Maps soon I'm just putting that out there I'm just putting it out there also there's that

sexy expansion they put out where it's just yeah yeah yeah you know what it is oh I know what it is oh I had I had dicks from day one yeah but we're talking about in the game yeah I had no dicks because I was in Singapore where dicks aren't allowed oh I already had to unlock for it on the Xbox when I ordered it they went here's your code for nudity and Oh I thought you couldn't get it on the Xbox cuz I didn't no neither did I was there you have to be in a region that allows I was not actually I was cuz I was female and you don't know how female genitals work no it's just perfectly smooth yep perfectly smooth but yeah so I'm just registering our team now oh very good Hey so uh

while we're on the subject of our Xboxes there was been uh there was a big event hands up who heads up who's got one or getting one I mean I'm getting one but I plan to just walk into EB Games week but I don't think uh the listeners can quite see that I did manage to get one my hands up twice yeah so all right you go first cuz you're you're your pre-orders were first how'd you fair Luke um so I woke up early in the morning I had the day off and uh I had two websites open cuz I was a bit nervous cuz I know PlayStation did not have a good time um I had JB highi in the Microsoft store mhm now the Microsoft store I think went live a little late so I was going through JB HiFi and then it hung and I've gone oh crap and then Microsoft caught up Microsoft confirmed and then a

little bit later I got an email from JB highi saying pre- is confirmed as well so I have two you sort of looks like I'm getting myself an Xbox then yeah thanks l i I did want to but you I mean and I you wanted to but it was would have been difficult to justify to to your wife had you not you know kind of had this great story to explain why you have to so exactly this is kind of Ideal it wasn't my fault for her cuz that would certainly soften the blow is this like that time remember that time Luke accidentally bought a [ __ ] $1,000 phone CU he forgot his Paypal was logged in or something some hor [ __ ] and he forgot his Paypal was logged in when he clicked bu Now by now check out with PayPal yes Express checkout yes yes oh

what it just happened yeah happens to the best of us as I said it's not my fault well I only got one of them I did I did want two as well but I didn't get two but that's fine there were clearly not enough to go around evidently they are going to try and release more soon there will be plenty but yeah I I think they said look there'll be more in store so maybe I can grab one yeah you know on the day if necessary I had I had five tabs open I had the Microsoft store I had Target I had Best Buy I had Amazon and I had uh Walmart open just just because and I was I was trying to check out on all of them this is not this is not a lie anyone in I mean I know Australia had it rough as well but

anyone in America will tell you man because I was like I I got one on the Microsoft store uh and it it wasn't too bad but then trying to check out on Best Buy I would put an Xbox in my cut and then go to check out and it would say there's nothing you can't mate and i' be like there's an Xbox in there and then I'd refresh and it be like oh yeah you're right there is an Xbox in there all right I'll check out you can't check out with nothing wait mate there [ __ ] Xbox in yeah so anyway that was that was and also I was it was 11: a.m. so I was working as well made it very complicated cuz yes that's why I made sure to be like online ready to go at 8 as soon as it went live yeah no no no this that's when it went live 11:00 a.m. oh really yes that's what I'm saying it was it was

11:00 a.m. and I was I was working and so it was really not so I got one you could put like all your effort into it you got the one which is that's all you really need to start with you can only play one at a time guys that's true but I can play one and Jenna can play one which is why I needed two and I can have my options open as to where I play one but at least I'm not one of these the the jerks is now trying to sell them for like $1,500 and stuff on eBay I know that came up pretty quick oh man I don't get that you're going to be able to get one so soon after I mean this is this happens every time I mean I understand I understand that you guys want yours day one and and that's cool I can wait cuz I don't even have a [ __ ] TV right now but well my my concern was just that

because of you know the pandemic and everything that there won't be enough you know and that's might still be the case but but I I just find it it's dodgy to yes I do go and bu two but I'm going to use two I'm not trying to make a profit off it I love it how Matt tries to get two because he's like look I really want my wife to be able to play games as well yeah sure some child won't get one because I've got two and Luke's like yeah I just want to be able to play one with both hands no it annoys me I I really wish eBay would put a stop to this practice of selling things on their of doing this cuz people aren't selling the actual they're selling a pre-order so they they don't even have it yet some of them are selling pictures of it as well if you if you look closely

there's a lot of um pictures of that that [ __ ] GeForce card that came out the other week for sale if you want to spend a couple hundred bucks on a on a printed out piece of paper pict and yeah I don't know eBay and these sites need to stop this try and do something to stop this practice like they did with had to do with toilet paper that people were just trying to sell that online and eBay was selling pictures of toilet paper no no you know remember when toilet paper was sold out everywhere I mean you can still wipe your ass toilet paper people were trying to sell it on eBay and make a profit yeah and they did stop that from happening and I think they need to do that with these pre-orders you shouldn't

be able to sell a pre-order cuz you don't have a product yet no that's right because all the the the uh listings all say oh I've got the you know you'll get the print out of the of the confirmation email let kind of man [ __ ] that that's risky yeah cuz also what's the buyer protection policy on that right so if you buy that now and then it I mean you're not going to know that you're being scammed for at least a month right or two months which will sort of be too late to try be go through that the PayPal uh dispute thing yeah exactly yeah not a good idea yeah so yeah people don't buy from these sites I know it sucks you may have to wait a little longer but oh Dan's probably right I remember I I know we I told this reminded you guys of this on WhatsApp

the other day but when the 360 came out I did not pre-order it and Dave told me you're a fool you're a fool and you're never going to get one and I was like I might just get one when it comes out and he was like no you're not going to be able to and then the day that they were released I walked into Dick Smith and I bought one yeah although the 360 if you pre-ordered you got it early I think is that right cuz there was maybe I just waited a few days cuz there was a period where he had one and I didn't so so may have just been timing but I I know I remember we got the 360 a year later remember that 360 was released earlier in the rest of the world than it was Australia oh was it huh yeah I think we had to wait six months or something before it was released in Australia back

in the period where stuff got released in Australia later remember when movies used to come out like a year later yeah yeah if at all yeah that was stupid remember when TV series used to come out a year later but then sometimes they would want to catch up so they would just play the first episode and then they would just start at whatever season the Americans were up to yes [ __ ] useless I remember when Highland of the series Highland of the series was on in Australia they played the first episode of season 1 then next they played the first episode of season 2 then they started season 3 I mean you've you've got a taste of each one is it caught up mate H see I could understand if maybe they try to do

like the first and last episode of each season before leading into it that would be a little bit better than the first one but what do I know I don't work in television speaking of uh movie releases I was considering going to see tenant uh I do still want to uh but I don't know that I want to go to a movie theater here just cuz uh cases are up covid cases are up here at the moment see it's funny you say that Matt but I've heard your president blatantly say that Co is just not a problem yeah I mean it's not a problem for me personally so far but I'd like to keep it that way you know yeah I mean this is the guy you have elected not you personally but just collectively you have elected to represent and speak for you sure I mean we it doesn't quite work like that but sure I think it does work

like that Matt I think exactly like that you don't get to vote for who the president is technically speaking here you vote for the for the people who will decide you you vote and then the people who are in charge go I'll take Australia that's how that works in Australia yeah right in America you're voting for the person no no no no you're not the Electoral College votes for the person yeah yeah you're just Yeah it's convol you're voting for who's who's who's you're voting for who's going to be voting for the president sort of cuz otherwise the more populated cities along the coast all people in the center okay so in Australia I know it's they can change their mind halfway through like we're changing who the prime minister is are

done but I don't think that's the case in America is it so once they voted in so if that person stands down for whatever reason then they'd go to election early to vote another President right no the vice president would become the president oh but for the rest of the four years or but is the vice president a representative of the same party or the opposition yes the president nominates their vice president always the same party I mean I'm always as far as I'm aware actually I'm not even sure if you could nominate someone who was not in your I mean I only know about this from Hamilton cuz you run with you run on on a platform with the person right so you nominate someone to be on your ballot yeah you go this is this is the it's us to this is

you're like it's me and Kanye West exactly cuz yeah and so what I saying before is and I'm going to butcher this because again I don't fully understand you can write in and let me know what I got wrong I probably should know this in preparation for when I'm become a citizen but because the states do not are not populated evenly uh and particular the coastal states which are generally you know Democrats uh have a lot more people you don't just vote and then they count others this many votes for X person you vote and then the state as a whole has a number of Representatives based on the population and the size and then that person looks at what everyone voted and went okay okay I see what you want and I will do

what I feel like and that's why you sometimes have it where the pop so you can have more people can vote for what even happened the last election more people voted for Hillary but because the Electoral College went no trumps in because of this even though more people voted other way yeah because more people more people vote live in New York and voted than live in I don't know somewhere down south and voted in the middle right but because because the numbers are skewed the they don't have equal representation in the Electoral College so yeah just make me convoluted yeah but I can understand why it's because otherwise the the people you know like the farmers in the middle of the country who there are less of would be underrepresented because all the

lawyers in the cities would shouldn't they be under represented if there are less of them isn't that how democracy should work well no it depends right because the I think the the point is that well then everything say you have the rich Elite right I think the idea is that the the rich Elite would just always run everything whereas if you distribute it like this supposed to even the playing field and like if there's like say you have two farmers right and they're like being [ __ ] driven into poverty and then you've got 5,000 lawyers the lawyers are always going to win yeah but if your nation is made up of mostly lawyers then it should have a government that represents mostly lawyers well I guess but then one of the lawyers going to

eat well they going to tell the farmers what they want to eat and the farmers are going to have to just [ __ ] do it aren't they they just sue them I don't know this is bad now stuff you're the hard going be like fascism yeah someone's going to ride it and be like that matters not how it works mate and then and then I'll update next week um or I haven't seen side side project uh multiple politics gasm yeah so so I haven't seen ten it yet and I I I am maybe going to see it uh but I might go see it at the drive-in because then people can't touch me cuz yeah they're making a comeback now a little bit which is sort of cool there's a drivein theater that I can go see it at so I might do that how do they do the audio at a drive-in theater is it through

your radio you tune into a station or is it the old timey ones where you you put a little speaker against your window no it's the radio actually we had this conversation the other day and Jenna never has never been to one where you put the speaker and she was laughing at me and I'm like I grew up in [ __ ] penth the back in the 80s the black Town drive-in theater did not have the technology to transmit audio via radio waves that was future deck you drove up next to a speaker and opened your window yeah yeah and then if it so it was on a little cable sometimes you could put it in the window yeah or you could clip it onto your door yes once your window was down or if you were sitting in the back of the Ute with the reverse towards the

screen you could just kind of pop it in there I did actually go see a movie very recently I went and saw Bill and Ted and what' you think uh I enjoyed it it was a b the only thing I sort of didn't like was sort of the ending mhm oh it um guys I'm okay I'm okay with spoiling endings I'm not sure know it matters with this movie yeah okay I think look listeners I'm going to ask these guys to explain it to me so if you don't want to hear it fast forward 30 60 seconds yeah it won't be long like the other ones say sort of ended in like a real good song sure yeah this one didn't have that well it did

have a song it's just that it's not a song that we would associate with Bill and Ted yeah because the the the twist is you want to say the twist Luke I'm still trying to work it all out my head it is a little confused and well it just makes no sense I wasn't expecting a TST at all so I'm very interested let you should I say the twist yeah say the twist I mean it's [ __ ] Bill and Ted it's not going to [ __ ] yeah it's not them it's their kids that saves the world oh okay that's nice Logan and Preston and Logan is what the demo tape said in the future and they just assumed it was Bill and Ted but it was not it was their kids oh okay that's nice I like that that's good but that means the music music's different cuz it's like a

more modern poppy song I see so that whole time where they thought they were going to save the world with their music no all they had to do with give birth to those kids correct that's how they say and it's and it's not really a song as such there's no one doing for it's like everyone in the world through every time period had to play the music yeah performed at the same time so Bill and Ted were running around giving everyone in the world instruments but it's be you're right it is literally nonsensical because the problem that they have to is that time is falling apart and and people from history are just disappearing and reappearing in other times like it doesn't make any sense but it doesn't have because it's Bill and Ted no and it was just a fun movie yeah

it's like the plot is nonsensical yeah like like even more so than the previous mov it just makes zero sense because if we're going all in right they go again it's not really spoilers cuz it's a silly movie but they go forward in time little bits right and then they they are Pricks to themselves the future of them are Pricks to themselves but then when they go forward and they're old they're not like what the [ __ ] like none of it makes any sense you know what I'm saying but but go and see it though it's hard to explain because it is yeah nonsense how did you see it Luke is it out in cinemas now yeah it's in cin there there is a little independent cinnamon near here um I'm in my new house by the way guys which is listeners if I sound echoey it's because I'm in a

in an entire house with no furniture it's cuz it's new house is mansion and youal and uh um but there's a little independent cinemon near me and I can't imagine anyone goes there so I'm just going to play good thing when I when I booked in um they say like if you're going into a group people like book everyone online at the same time pick your seats and then they're basically blocking out everything around you okay so there's like no people the two seats next to you on either side no people sitting directly behind you or in front of you and they'll probably be doing the same type of thing hopefully they maybe see if they I just don't trust that they're doing that here that's why I'm not going yeah I you'll book in your seat and then someone go well no I want

to sit here cuz it's better I would recommend this is just something I did as well I booked in the corner oh yeah that way there cuz there's less chance of people wanting I like middle middle but I prefer to be in the back corner cuz there less chance of people wanting sit next to me this is you know this is a segment for old multiple old man gasm but since the age of about 35 I've always chosen an aisle seat when going to the cinema because I guaranteed we'll have to go to the toilet at one point through the movie 100% of the time uhhuh and it's just it's painful it's painful when you're trying to work out when to go because you sort of you're trying to is this going to be a boring I

can run out quickly honestly knowing as much I do about film Theory helps with that department like I'm like okay I'm at the end of act one act 2 is about to start there's going to be a lull before it starts to really ramp up again I think I can go now yep yep but then I hate it when I get back and Hannah goes you missed a really good part [ __ ] I was at uh I know you you don't like this movie Luke but I was at um Lord of the Rings part two the two towers and uh the my mate Dane was sitting next to me you could go to toilet at any stage during that movie yeah almost because half the time you would expect okay they're just walking trees during this part so he goes to the toilet right and during that time schmeel has the conversation with

himself and it's the greatest moment in fantasy Cinema to date then he comes back it's all over it's just walking trees again and he's like what I miss mhm just say nothing yeah yeah yeah same old no that's that's a movie you could go at any stage it's fine you're not missing anything Hey so uh Microsoft bought Bethesda Bethesda zenax media yeah yeah wow wow $7.5 billion uh no one saw that seems weird they brought zetax like Bethesda for 7.5 billion but they brought Minecraft for 4 billion yeah the M there does not work out to me yeah well I mean they got a good deal maybe I

don't know but I mean they own a lot of stuff now like a lot of stuff and then now there's all this talk of like oh they're going to make you know the games XBox exclusive which I mean it doesn't seem very smart if you want to make money it's fine by many but this is how they finally get good ex good single exclusives on the console yeah true so but then also like you're chopping off half the market and saying no not going to sell that game I really think that Microsoft is trying to really play a lot nicer so I don't think they're going to go super exclusive with that although I just realized they're not in they they're more into this the subscription thing anyway so maybe they don't care about selling the games so maybe they'll still release on everything but going to

go hey you get it for free on day one if you come with Microsoft yeah again fine with me well I've already come with Microsoft so I've already come with [Laughter] Bethesda yeah if anything it'll just save time you can just come once instead of twice but also have you seen this where markof also said they're still they're not finished yet they're still looking to buy more Studios they're going to come more I yeah I don't know who else is left they're going to buy Sony yeah that would be [ __ ] amazing yeah but I I'm just this just makes it good because hopefully just this will mean that we get like Elder Scroll 6 and Fallout 52 whatever it is just Game Pass day one well I think I mean I assume that means most of the

back catalog is going on Game Pass some of them were already on there but I mean they might as well throw them up right like but but th's already always had sort of a Clos relationship with Xbox yeah they did their announcement uh for uh was it the new Elder Scrolls that was the Xbox announcer even though they didn't show anything they announced something during the I remember a few years ago that's they announced Fallout for VR at the Microsoft show Even though Microsoft doesn't have a VR headset what the [ __ ] are they they no it's not doing that what's going on with that I no they they're PlayStation are definitely coming out for VR still they're releasing you on PlayStation 5 Xbox are just not and I sort of don't blame them VR I don't just hasn't done

anything I don't think yeah that's fair I will be playing VR next in a few weeks though because but see for me the reason VR has done anything is because I don't have it for my XBox if I had it on my Xbox I might use it I don't have the option of using it but that's why Star Wars squadrons comes out this week this week this week comes out this Friday Star Wars squadrons and it's not even like a $100 game it's a $60 game or in Matt that would be a $30 game or a $40 game for you nice so not the normal 60 for you it comes out Friday but on Xbox you can play it but then also on PC you can play in VR yeah so I have to get on Xbox retrievers and then I have to play through on VR it is $40 here yep that one sort of snuck up on me and I I haven't been seeing a lot of

marketing for it which I find odd I've seen it crop up a little bit but yeah you're right they're not pushing this as much as they pushed something like uh what was the name of that Star Wars game with that redhead that none of us played except you the one with the red head oh oh oh fallen order Fallen order yeah that one yeah that was a great game I played it a bit it was all right I forgot about it I loved it I finished it for the achievements I want to play it again but I won't but as I told you guys to play that game you just need to throw on story difficulty because I didn't the Dark Souls sort of part of it where you got to go die go back get your stuff that made the game terrible actually just playing it as a

game was a lot more fun okay but even so with the new Star Wars game that's coming up they're not they're saying like there's no microtransactions everything you can unlock in game excited well maybe I'll check it out I've been playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey so still enjoying it dream oh very much so very much so oh Dan if you were wondering because I know you probably were uh that quest with the old woman who whose husband won't sleep with her I know I know was wondering I was wonder wonder whether if you're a if you're a lady assassin do you still get to bang the answers do you pledge of the old woman you do okay great great okay so when you get up to the part where I so far I've only been able to romance women

in it there's been no men see I got [ __ ] by a whole bunch of dudes that are gay orgy and I want to know whether that happens to Cassandra as well all right I'll let you know it's in Athens if you get to Athens let me know okay I'm not at Athens yet so I'm in uh yeah my character did have a lot of sex I know that with men or women you name it I was a [ __ ] I got around okay so and you were Cassandra so all right yeah cuz honestly it's not that I'm not intentionally only sleeping with women uh but that certainly just seems to be what's what's available to me yeah starring Matt I'm not intentionally only sleeping with women mhm no but seriously I've only

slept with that old woman and then I got [ __ ] by a bunch of dudes that's it well we'll see here fingers crossed fingers cross get [ __ ] by a bunch of dudes yeah great game so there's some news has come out this week which I think we're all going to quite like with cyber Punk that the store the the single player story is not going to be as big as Witcher was which yeah I mean I guess that's sort of good but also what but that's not saying there's not going to be more gameplay they're just going to say if you want to just focus on the main story and play it all the way through it's not going to take

you six months like Witcher three did yeah Witcher 3 was very long Witch of three but I I don't think the Witcher 3 was long for the story I think it was more so long for getting sidetracked by everything else so much to distract you but isn't that I think what they're saying is that the main story line was too long I don't think they're talking about that I think they're just saying that the main story line in Witcher 3 was too long and they've got stats and it looked like nobody not nobody but uh there were a lot of people that never finished it yeah so so they're they're doing it now where yeah they're making that little but if you look given that like The Witcher three in this article says sounds around 52 hours to complete so they cyber Punk's going to take us 40

that's still a big chunk yeah and that's not with going and doing all the side quest that's just going to be story so I I'm okay with it we'll be interesting to see if I if I finish it I have a feeling I will but again this game could be shitty we never know it could be like everyone's just talking about how this is going to be like the greatest game of the year and all this but it can be it can be bad in particular when don't you know when people hype up games it means they're always good yeah yep exactly right we get to find out soon and we get the tried out on the Xbox series X which will be good yeah and look this is not far away at all it's like what's less than two months

yeah month and a half it comes out in like six seven weeks or something yeah not long oh are you going to can I have an Xbox by then Dan look not only am I not going to have an Xbox but I'm also not going to rush out and try to play this at launch and I'm certainly not going to play this on my Xbox One knowing that there's a new console I could be playing it on when I get my Xbox back I'm going to finish Odyssey and then when I finish that I'm going to go out and buy an Xbox series X and cyber Punk and enjoy them both together you know you'd just be able to play Odyssey on the Xbox series X as well don't don't why would you do that fine Ju Ju Just so you know so did you B if you cuz if you bought the digital

version you get the series X and just load it up on there and it'll work and your save game will be there is it going to look [ __ ] though on the newer console yeah is it going to like really will it should do oh I don't see it looking worse it should look better because you and I are both playing on the original Xbox one so we don't even have the Xbox One X updates and the load time will also be a lot faster as well it does have very slow load times I I I'll say that and this game already looks good on my [ __ ] 7-year-old Xbox seveny old yeah it's in kindergarten is that how old you are in kindergarten I have no idea yeah I think so actually no I think that s years old is year one isn't it I don't know you could I don't know it's been a long time

mother-in-law often emails me and asks why she's not allowed to see the kids which is very depressing Jesus and then yeah I know and then um I get uh tell you that time I got an email from a real estate in Melbourne so I got this email from a real estate uh like I know Ling and horn in Melbourne or something from some some man a real estate manager saying um we've been trying to get a hold of you so that we can come and fix the dishwasher you really need to call us and so I replied and said sorry I don't know what you talking about that you got the wrong email address so she replied and said look this is not funny um we've been trying to arrange for someone to come into the apartment for a long time um when will someone be home at and then

put the address and I replied and I said look you've got the wrong person I don't live at that address and then she replied and said well then who does and I replied again and I said I think you misunderstand I don't know who does I have never lived there and it was very clear and then she just replied and said sorry that's kind of the complete opposite of the conversation I had with my ta Co provider today when I uh tried to ask them why they were still charging me for my Singapore number oh yeah ah what did they say uh we still want your money oh no they said there's no record of me having canceled it and if I want to cancel it I need to come in in person and uh tell them at the store

that I want to cancel it yeah what if you're up for another quarantine why not yeah that's right yeah I stopped using my nice but voice after that honestly look I I feel feel sorry for anyone who has to answer the phones at a Telco but I do want to know why only Telos have such poor customer service that they will say things like I've got no record of that like you do just you haven't even asked me my name so you don't know if you've got a record of that or not yet and they'll say things like I'll be like look okay I appreciate that you can't help me that that that's fine can you please transfer me to your supervisor and I I'll just have a word with with them I don't have a supervisor right so you're the boss are

telra 10 years ago when I had a problem with them but I've just never had a problem with any other business like Telos I don't understand it did I tell you I told you my my Razor support story right like as in recently I'm [ __ ] I went on the war path I'm like I'm not using any Razor stuff anymore I'm like [ __ ] you because I bought this webcam it was not cheap it was a razor webcam and it's it's we've talked about this on the show I think you guys have mentioned that it's kind of on an angle right it my webcam doesn't look straight and I discovered that tilt we say in the in in the cinematography world that's cuz it's broken right it's got the little hinge on it is broken and I guess always has been but I just didn't notice it first

so I put in a support ticket and then so we don't need to go into the whole Saga of it but I went back and forth with a bunch of times and they've basically told me it's not covered by warranty because apparently putting the [ __ ] webcam on top of the monitor is not standard Behavior so I avoided the warranty you voided the warranty it's designed for that for using its one use yeah it got escalated and some [ __ ] person who I'm not allowed to talk to has laid down the decree that I avoided the warranty by using the webcam so [ __ ] you Razer ridiculous mind you look I I'm the first guy to like criticize social media right I [ __ ] hate it for so many reasons but I've noticed if you want to reply from somebody who has a

Facebook and they're not answering your calls or you just [ __ ] post it on their wall they will call you back within minutes minutes I got hung up on by my bank and then I went to their Facebook and then a very nice lady called me back very shortly after saying hey can you just delete that and I'll be very happy to help you with your concern that's funny well because I um I was like they were like oh that that's not covered by the warranty and so I I replied and said could you give me an example of something that would be covered by on this device that has one thing the one physical component that is the hinge if the hinge isn't covered can you explain to me what is covered and then she just replied and said we've already decided

that this is not covered I was like [ __ ] you so Matt just just paint a picture for me right yes this is a camera on some kind of clip is it it it just folds open so you can put it over the top of the monitor yeah so essentially anything that's not camera is hinge correct right there's internal components and then a so can you can kind of slot it over the top of the Monitor and it just sits there on top yeah and it may look like you're supposed to do that but apparently you're not supposed to do yeah that's the picture of it on the front of the box that it came in right it's probably it sitting up on top of a monitor right you know what you could also put it on a desk but you're still going to have to use the [ __ ] [Laughter]

hinge yeah mate did you use blue tag cuz that's the only thing it's covered for if it breaks while it's blue tag you're fine yeah I was I was Baff I saw no but then I'm like I have no recourse here so I give up yeah I guess I give up yeah there there's no point in Contin to still get worked up over won change just upset you what yeah exactly and what I'm trying to do which is I'm trying to do with my Telco is be like look the money that you're going to save by arguing with these people until they give you a refund is not worth the headache that you're giving yourself by all these phone calls just take the win just go okay fine I just won't go back there I can't use them anymore I don't live in that country anymore yeah yeah well that's like with this I'm like the

camera itself works right so I'm I'm I might as well just let it go but then my my problem now is what if the camera breaks they now think my [ __ ] warranty's void for for some reason like what the [ __ ] is that about you basically I've basically just [ __ ] myself by complaining that their is broken I understand if they came back and said to you actually only the components for the camera itself are covered under the warranty now I I still think that's [ __ ] but that's not what they've said they've said by attaching your webcam to a computer monitor you have voided the warranty yes voided it they used those words voided the warranty that's why I was like are you [ __ ] kidding me like cuz there's a difference between

look that's not covered to voided for everything now you've hacked it and so now we can't possibly keep it under warranty because God knows what you've done to it CU they said it's no longer warranty and I said to them I bought it three months ago and it comes with the 12-month warranty why is it not under warranty and they said because it's been misused misused those were n i for explain to me how it should be used that's what I I asked I asked I got nothing out of them tell you what give me the number I'll call them you call my [ __ ] TCO what we just this is this was on email but the last response thanks for your response the type of damage is not covered under warranty as it is not

considered within normal use therefore it has voided the warranty as much as I would love to proceed with the replacement for you your case was already checked and there's nothing else we can do thank you for your patience and it's so personal as much as I would love to MADD MADD I'd love to I was saying to my wife and kids last night there's this nice man yeah thanks Hann deserves a replacement it's better not be your wife that's one of the things L that's one of the that's the worst wording to use like I'd like to do something well you you can do something like it's within your power youve made the decision yeah all you've got to do is there's always someone who can help now this I this email all this email did was [ __ ] me on off look we have all

worked in retail we've all worked in tech services like always something that can be done always but look here's something I think we should all start doing and this is something I've been trying to do as well when you get good service report that as well I agree yeah yeah I agree with that CU everyone's very quick to and even if you look a lot of times when people are answering phones people they're not they're basically there to get abused so that's why I think we need to S take a step back and if we see something good if we have a good experience we should also just write like you should call be like excuse me I think I need to report somebody they were very polite to me I'm not used to this yeah not acceptable but that's the thing but that's the thing

like it doesn't even come naturally to say it because we don't do it recognize good service anymore no I sometimes get uh you know like if you finish up with the support thing and you get an email that says how did so and so do on on your your thing and if it's good I always give them a good review like I I always I've had very good experiences with Amazon uh in that regard I I'm really saying we need to go one step further and actually just write something instead of just just everyone in our listeners the times I think about doing it compared to the times I've actually done it is a very big discrepancy because I I gotta say I know people people are hard on Amazon with regards to you know destroying lots of other businesses and small local

businesses and stuff like that but my experience with Amazon has been so good that it's really hard to to justify not doing it like for example I ordered Whole Foods right to be delivered uh they didn't show up and I contacted Amon support and they said we're really sorry we've put in a replacement order it'll be delivered tomorrow and we're refunding you so that's oh oh wow 150 bucks worth of groceries for free wow cuz they were slightly late because the driver uh got held up huh so I mean argue with that like yeah for a complete refund not he's like a $20 voucher if he next sing or anything replacement order wow wow that

is service yeah I mean that's above and beyond I mean I'd never expect I just want someone to admit that the [ __ ] fault was on their end yeah I like to think it came straight out of Jeff bezos's checking account to be honest he can afford it but yeah he's like you know what Matt your groceries are on me mate you've been a good customer yep yeah yeah out of my trillion dollars several hundred have been from you have a free packet of chips while you're at it why not Splurge have these Frozen veggie nuggets yeah for your freezer thanks Jeff so next week I want everyone to come back and tell me one company that they've sent a thank you this is good service that's a challenge to you all I tell you another one actually forward my current mortgage

only motivated to speak when we are angry m I've gotten emails from people about my music and it always blows my mind and it really really does feel nice to get an email out of the blue from somebody who just I got I think I told you this already but I got excuse me one from um is a teacher somewhere in the US and his kids always request he put on The Killing Time at light speed soundtrack while they're doing their work I know way and I was like whole holy [ __ ] yeah that's amazing [ __ ] made my day yeah yeah my one that always comes to mind is I got uh I got an email once from a high school student asking if they could do a short film that I'd put online as a monologue for their graduate wow

performance I was like [ __ ] yeah that's right yeah very cool was it put these socks in your mouth worth every penny mhm yeah go in the other room that's maybe that's where uh my friend in high school found his that he yeah he did he's like yeah he's like I I I've adapted it I just want to take one part of it it's basically about me doing that to myself in an Al yeah yeah man I wonder what that guy's up to he's just out the b of an alley good Lord so we've got we've got some more gaming news sure and this I'm actually quite happy about mhm cuz there was a lot of big

games coming out but so Mass Effect so it's the rumors that was going to be coming out this year the yes re the remake of the original trilogy yes I mean not confirmed but now not confirmed no still no one's announced it but now there are rumors on top of that that it's been pushed back to next year yes and it's all because the original Mass Effect isn't living up to their expectations at the moment it's very that's a lot of information I mean it's not a lot of information but it is a lot of information which is interesting see I I can sort of understand why M the first mass effect might be take need a little bit more work than the next two because if you even though they were all on the same cons generation console yeah you look at

m 1 3 they are Worlds Apart I was going to say when I went back to play them replay them all Mass Effect one certainly didn't live up to my expectations so no it was not how I remembered it which was thoroughly immersive and mind-blowing it was more janky and like ah [ __ ] well I came to the franchise late and I I I only got excited I only got into Mass Effect because you guys were excited about Mass Effect 3 so I had to go at one and was like what the [ __ ] are you guys talking about and then you guys are like no play two just skip to two play two God so good I still think two is the best I played it twice in the first week the first one is still my favorite cuz that was more RPG yeah and it went a bit more arcadey the further it went along yeah that's

true M mhm I felt like two was just a great blend of everything yeah I did perfect Perfect Blend I'm not saying two was bad or anything I'm just like my fa I enjoyed them all though except and drit no not so much have you seen that short film that I think it was Steen and Carlo did years ago about like someone returning Mass Effect 2 to the uh yeah to the game store yes he's like oh finished it already he's like no I just didn't like it he's like what what hey we've got some steam news oh yeah yeah watched uh his new show The Duchess on Netflix this week you should check it out listeners oh I do want to watch that it's good it's very Fun's been telling me to watch it yeah yeah it's got friend of the show Steen rcis in it you should definitely it looks it looks very good

yeah very funny very good recommend it all right I might give it a go it's definitely uh our type of humor mhm yes well it's it's Katherine Ryan right yes and she's very uh edgy yes yeah so no this is this is a big step for steam oh yeah he's agent has been doing good stuff for him clearly yeah when's are you're going to do good stuff for me when you get one I guess yeah that's right oh so they don't just come and do it and then let me know I have to go to them first I think so I think that's how it works but I wouldn't know cuz I've never had one either yeah I just need someone just to offer me jobs that'd be great I can act

yeah yeah you did almost an entire term at drama school he managed convincingly portrayed a man who accidentally bought a mobile phone because he forgot he was logged into PayPal fooled everyone and Tarzan yeah and Tarzan in a in a in a fedora if I recall just how I roll he's like Tom Cruz he's not a character actor he just plays himself in every scenario yes exactly right that's what people don't come to Luke because they want him to become the character they want the character to become him yes I I I see no problem with this no oh another great show on Netflix just quickly uh

Travels With My Father have you guys seen this I've seen the um the last seasons I haven't watched a new one because they're in Australia now right yes man so this is Jack whiteall with his father and his mother's on this trip as well isn't she yeah so I've not I'd never heard of this show and then Jenna just popped it on the other day and I walked out and it was on and I was enthralled what a [ __ ] great show it's like very know who Jack whiteall is no I didn't he's a comedian uh British comedian and he's I think he's in the jungle cruise now with the rock so his profile's kind of shot up quite a lot um and this is a show that he did it's a travel show where he travels the world with his very Posh father and makes his father do you know

stupid normal stuff yeah and it's very funny like it's it's clearly scripted you know in parts and that but they are very funny yeah I uh I've really enjoy it yeah no I I quite like Jack whiteall yeah I like his stuff like education um fresh meat there's some good shows he was in oh there you go all right Luke's a fan there you go I've no I've only ever seen him in this in this uh Travels With My Father but it's very good anyway check it out it's kind of like Idiot Abroad but I think uh like not not the same it's just that kind of thing Fish Out of Water sort of sort of show like one of the season is like we're going to go backpacking and his father's like very Posh and it's so no like I I I travel first

class yes well the first the first very first episode where they go to Thailand and uh his he books them in at a hostel and his father his dad walks into the room and there's all these kids in there and they're like hello and the dad's like no no no like leaves and goes to a hotel oh yeah and his wife puts shorts in his suitcase and he's like what are these I'm not wearing shorts I've never worn shorts in my life I'm not wearing shorts now do you like licorice do either of you like licorice I much like licorice oh W I could eat bags of it are there any is is there any licorice in the Afterparty I would I would highly recommend you don't eat bags of it Luke and I'll I'll tell you why in the Afterparty that's all for this week thank you for listening and we hope you
