TV is the new Movies: Hayden Christensen Returns & Dune HBO Max Lawsuit

I don't know about you guys but I got a little bit overloaded with information this week yeah [ __ ] hell one just there was one evening that it was like well probably morning for you guys but it was just like it was a morning Matt we woke up this he just went here is everything to a whole lot of news all all good news but it was just a bit overwhelming welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt it's all a bit hearty so I don't really understand it Luke is that a little s penis Dam I accidentally got soap in my urethra multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy I finished work went to make dinner and then you know put had a bunch of stuff on and I was like I'll check my

phone and I was like what the [ __ ] just happened in the last hour and it didn't stop it just kept coming once I got my head around some stuff suddenly Matt was pointing out other stuff that I'd missed so I wonder if is this something like they've been sitting on this I know that there was a Disney investor call which I think is where a lot of this came out but I'm just used to this stuff you know coming out at conventions we're not having those so is this is this because of that maybe that's what it is you know normally there'd be like ComiCon and Beyond and then we'd get all this stuff but this just came out that they wouldn't they don't normally announce this much stuff and it wasn't just Disney let's be clear it was like everybody had just saved up a bunch of

[ __ ] and they were like here you go how about a TV series about this thing or as soon as Disney started saying their stuff everyone else is like well don't just pay attention to them we've got stuff too we got a [ __ ] alien show talk about that I know yeah I missed that one yeah that was just in the in the flood Fox is coming up with a [ __ ] alien TV series all right why not everything's TV series now is is that going to have aliens in it it is going to be set on Earth Luke so there's that no so hopefully not then because otherwise we' all just be dead it's not an alien show then is it let's be honest I mean you have to ask that question it can be set in the alien universe and not have aliens in it that's fine but it's not really an alien

film like like like we're we're watching them build the Prometheus that that's still in the universe just building a ship ah all right it's just time lapse photography of of a spaceship being built and it's going to start now and and it's going to go up until they actually can figure out how to make it Fly and travel FAS light and it's direct away with this spot so I'm going to watch it that's not true I haven't watched several of his films but this just comes back to Hollywood listening to us because I've been saying for a couple of years now they need to start going more to television shows with some of this stuff oh yeah I think television problem with that absolutely I mean on that note we could start with um we we we we talked about last week HBO Max is going

to be getting all the Warner stuff this coming year that's pissed off quite a lot of people Fair few people quite unhappy some people very unhappy some people getting the lawyers involved mostly I think mostly industry people p off I don't think any any consumer is particularly pissed off about this no I'm excited yeah but Christopher Nolan for example not happy not happy not happy that his uh films would potentially be going straight to streaming but also pointing out uh that he thinks HBO Max is the worst of all streaming services I saw that we don't have HBO Max but we we do have binge and it is definitely the worst 100% the worst was he talking from a technical perspective or is there something about HBO that Christopher Nolan doesn't like

that's what I was unclear on I know he said that I just wonder still unclear yeah why does he think they're the worst yeah or was he just being a bit of a [ __ ] yeah his ex-girlfriend works there Deni Vu the director of Dune and um Blade Runner almost said cyber Punk Blade Runner 249 yes uh he's pissed off because he doesn't want Dune going on HBO Max and I can understand why I mean of all things Dune really needs that super widescreen format yes I get that also I think it's I don't think I think this is probably save them a little bit cuz it's not going to do it won't do well at the movies will not do well it's got a good

cast man I mean even if people aren't familiar with the book no no people there are a lot of people who are sort of not I know it's just a long dry book A lot of people it's one of my favorite long dry books Luke okay yeah I there's there are people who love it but there's a lot of people who just stri because there's no moisture on a racus yeah I I just I honestly think June was never going to do well at the movies and this is probably a good out for them yeah also I've got a nicer TV than most of the cinema screens in this area so I'm okay with that yeah they were forced to make this film and this is just G him a nice out thank God yeah what do we got coming up June oh God how do we how do we get out of this what

a um not only is dener upset his production country country yeah the whole country France no um the production company of June legendary pictures have announced that they are going to sue Warner Brothers for releas the pict in I can sort of understand where they're coming from they're thinking that they're not going to make as much money if it goes this way which and that's not what they signed on for and sort of invested that money at the start which yes it's true but what do you want them to do yeah not only that but I think if the answer is because of Co you can't sue yeah or we could all sue someone yeah like how long do you sit how long are you willing to sit on the movie before you can put it at the the does this include James

Bond that's not through Warner but like is everything just gonna follow suit now I would like for them to just not hold off I want to watch that [ __ ] movie and I know it's finished that's the question is is this going to be the new Norm uh and I guess we'll have to see I also read that uh some people pissed off because Wonder Woman which was kind of the first one they announced got some pretty good money I think for that like the the the the creators of Wonder Woman I think got kind of paid out better than the others will although I I don't know how much speculation that is but that that was also something that I read there that the reason some of the other people paid off pissed off is because they're not getting paid as much and uh

like U yeah but I mean I mean in the DC Universe at least one woman's the only one anyone liked and the only one that made some money so can't talking we're talking June we're talking The Suicide Squad we're talking there's a lot of movies now that are now still June I mean Luke might not be correct there that no one wants to see it but oh I'm correct but it's it's not Wonder Woman Smash Hit Suicide Squad we're looking forward to it cuz it's uh James G 50% cuz it's James gun 50% because it's like he's taking a failed franchise and he thinks he can redo it and that's just that's great but I mean this is a sequel to A F of a movie yeah yeah speaking of which they're making another Sonic the

Hedgehog I I actually like that I liked it I didn't watch it no I didn't watch it either is it worth is it worth watching oh yeah look I I hired it for five bucks and I streamed it and yeah it was worth five bucks okay all right that's Le's review I hir it and I watched it five stars worth the price of the ticket I am happy they did change what he looked like MH mov I'm look I'm looking forward to a sequel speaking of changing changing what people look like can I just can I segue for I've got to tell a personal anecdote that happened to me today uh I I got a haircut today in fact I got two haircuts today because I got a haircut oh what I got a haircut that was so terrible that I walked out of the barber walked into

the next barber I saw and asked for another haircut oh God just in case you were thinking that maybe I was overreacting the first thing that the second Barber said to me was let me guess you tried to cut your own hair and I said nope no I was just next door I paid someone to do this to me yeah and now I'm paying you to undo it yeah normally I know when I'm paying someone to punish me not in this case that's right I was not aware until halfway through then I was very [Laughter] aware it does seem like TV is the new movies just based on some of these trailers for this week let's go down the list shall we all right do you want to do the honors you can be our list Master

oh where's the list that's the problem is there isn't I don't have a definitive list I just pop here and I know we wer I mean we weren't going to cover the cover it all anyway but all right do you want to start with the Marvel ones so this okay so Marvel we've got one division so we knew there were a bunch of Marvel stuff coming yes this is all stuff that they announced uh last year or the year before this has been in the works for a while but I hadn't seen any of the footage yet right you had seen what it looked like did you watch these trailers I just watched Loki I haven't seen the others [ __ ] behind on actually watching these to be honest they have got they have put some money into this [ __ ] this just looks like more if you if you told me this was the

trailer for the new Marvel movie I wouldn't question it it looks yeah but it doesn't have any of the main characters in it well it I mean it does now right Loki a main character Falcon Winter Soldier then the main characters now that Chris Evans has retired One Division which like they all main characters these are second tier characters there's no thought there's no Captain America there's no Iron Man I get you but then if you look like this everyone they can afford to put in a TV show I mean Loki's got Owen Wilson in it yeah [ __ ] okay I'm in I was in already but now I'm doubl in and then the like just the the the just the production values of this like it just looks like a film it doesn't look like a TV series as we are used to and I mean

it makes sense cuz it's Disney and they've got [ __ ] [ __ ] off money but I was just very surprised particularly the Winter Soldier one is action sequence they show in the in the trailer and it I mean it looks like mindless movie action but it looks like mindless movie action yeah not TV action not Buffy it's right and then I mean also similar you know the first episode of Mandalorian this season that I I was watching I was like [ __ ] me this is what TV is now with the with the crate Dragon what TV can be yeah but if you if you watch some of the DC shows that are still going for it cuz they're jacking up the price hiking up the price yeah but you know what they're also jacking up the content so yeah to to the

max it's like it's been a it's been a dry to the max you can't don't say that no HBO Max sorry that's copyright my bad my bird you know I notic the other day um binge the the which for I know it's awful for you'll hate it more when I tell you this story too so for those in America who don't know around the world binge is the HBO content on uh Australian streaming right because we don't have HBO anything binge um whenever it says binging like you know we noticed you're binging on Faro or whatever you know how when you make a word into an in you know like into a you drop the e to add ing right everyone [ __ ] knows that binging is

spell b i n g e i n because some [ __ ] marketing person went well we can't spell it wrong yeah you still have to have our logo in there yeah exactly so it's just a spelling mistake every time you see it yeah yeah we don't wanted to Bing anything that's a Microsoft uh term we'll get sued MH it's just the worst and then every time you watching on computer every time it episode ends you have to refresh the browser because it just crashes but first first you've got to remember which episode you were up to cuz it doesn't always keep track sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't other times no we have this issue here with um you mentioned uh Max right HB Max

uh whenever I want to watch a show right and it's like oh you need to install a specific app for it I have to do a whole bunch of research for first which is [ __ ] stupid because every channel here has their own [ __ ] app right so I can't just install you know you got you've got binge and you got Netflix and you've got a couple we've got here maybe this is the same with foxtail over there but there's like a [ __ ] new Food Network app there's a FX app there's a every [ __ ] Channel but there's five of them for every channel because you've got HBO for example you've got HBO right when they first came out they had a HBO app and then they were like well y here's HBO GO that's for people I I'm probably going to get this wrong but that's for people who've got a cable

subscription and they want to watch stuff on their iPads you've got HBO go for that and you got HBO now HBO now is the one if you want to just pay for a subscription on your iPad then you've got HBO [ __ ] this HBO that now is HBO Max it's like which [ __ ] app do I have to install to watch this show it's impossible and more importantly which one are you going to phase out tell me now yeah get rid of them the problem is they're not phasing anything out which you could just have one app it's Food Network same problem right trying to watch [ __ ] Ace of Cakes shut up man you [ __ ] love your baking shows at the moment don't you I bought a stand mix stand I bought a stand mixer do you want to tell the

listeners about the pancakes you made with [ __ ] rollos back in the day oh that is there my well that probably the um the the the Genesis Inception yeah back when when lived uh in a in a little apartment in Eastwood in Sydney I got hungry one night and I got a pre-made pancakes mind you I didn't make the pancakes I went to to Franklin's I think and I bought oh Franklin's some pre-made pancakes and a packet of rollos like a multi pack of rollos delicious uh pancakes buted the pancakes yeah and then uh pop some rollers on there and made myself a delicious treat what's the problem I I heard you then microwaved it is that true that's true and I also uh spent most of the night with stomach

cramps yes unur unrelated of course yeah probably yeah yeah but uh yeah Disney's putting the price up which I guess makes sense considering but still it's still one of the cheapest ones of all the streaming services by far the cheapest right I don't I don't think there's anyone cheaper than that yeah with what they now like that's just the Marvel stuff then they also came out and said here's all theu Star Wars stuff which this was all new yeah okay so there was talk there's always been talk about the Obi-Wan one happening this a bit sweet moment because there's in one way there's no better time to be a Star Wars fan there is a wealth of content coming out next year but at the same time please be careful with my heart because I've been hurt

before I think now what they're doing and I think this is what we need to accept is not everything they've announced is for everyone yeah mhm you're right yeah they're spreading they're spreading the Star Wars Jam very thinly to get it all the way to the crust mhmh like there's there's a couple that I'm really looking forward to one I'm a bit upset this is a movie instead of a television show which is weird cuz they're making so many television shows but Rogue Squadron yes that's the one I've been saying for a long time that needs to be a television show could be interesting could be interesting um and P jins director of Wonder Woman is going to helm that one yes um other one I'm looking forward to is Rangers of

the new Republic now that's an animated show right I don't think so I think that's just a t no I think that's live action this is a tiing to Mandalorian yeah there's two there's Ahsoka and Rangers of the new Republic which are live action TV shows I think oh and so with Rangers I think that's more so going to be you know how in a couple episodes of the Mandalorian there's been those like X-Wing Pilots that have shown up it's going to be sort of more around that type of stuff like what the Republic was doing this time yeah which is sort of sounds like going to be what my RO quadron televion show wanted so I'm okay with that Osaka I'm could Lea Lando that was a shock one yeah Lando and they've got Glover coming back to

Lando oh is that true I didn't know that okay yeah interesting and then we get on to some more obw back and they're also bringing back haen Christensen as Darth Vader I got no problem with that I got no problem with that it was not Christ's fault that he sucked so bad how is Darth Vader going to be in the Obi-Wan series that's set During the period where he's supposed to think Obi-Wan is dead this going to be scaring each other yeah that just seems a little bit weird that one but we've always been wondering what they're going to do with the Obi-Wan was always just going to be a creepy old man watching a child from the distance living on a rock this show is set 10 years after the dramatic events of Revenge of the Sith so how the [ __ ] are they going to both be in it so

so the only thing I can think of is they're sort of showing they're they don't they're not going to be fighting each other or anything it's just going to be this article says that the showrunner says they will be fighting each other it's going to contain the rematch of the basically said up until now we've all assumed that they haven't seen each other since since the [ __ ] fight in the lava and then the next time was the fight on the Death Star as old men that will no longer be the case oh God I was really hoping they weren't going to do that see the these are the ones where like that one and even Lando I'd beefer if they left them alone yese we don't need Lando unless they get the direct if it's going to be Glover he's a great actor but I I think they should

double down and also get the director of his series Atlanta and they should just do this as a [ __ ] gritty Street drama see okay that see now I'm interested that could be cool yeah they won't though um there's the uh the Cassi and Andor show yeah I mean that no one was asking for but fine fine yeah I watched the the little teaser for that I watch too that Diego Luna necessarily can carry an entire series that too I mean he's charming and I like him like this is going to be dark isn't it it'sa it's going to be a bit dark this I want to know I imagine it' be Rogue one in tone it' be weird if they didn't if they took a character from Rue he was basically talking about the terrible stuff that he' done before this

it's about the birth of the Rebellion right yeah so I want to see Andor go to Endor uhhuh MH I want to see go to some planets that we haven't [ __ ] seen before yeah but then there are other on so there's some cartoons that are coming out as well like the bad batch and a Droid story and and it was Star Wars visions that I was thinking that you guys were talking about before which is uh right animated uh Manga style yeah cuz of course cuz you've got to cuz one you got to have one of those got to have one of those but yeah d came from nowhere yeah and then uh the other Marvel stuff just to touch on it new Fantastic fall

movie so they're going to reboot that again Marvel's actually doing it this time Ant-Man 3 oh that's right put the license back there that is flogging a dead horse this honestly this is their last chance listeners if this is not good please stop going to these Fantastic Four movies like we need to tell we need to go on this will tie in they stopped writing the comic books yeah because the movies were so bad they just stopped writing Comics they stopped writing Comics because they didn't own the rights to the movies and the movies were bad now they own the rights of the movies so I think they can like control everything yeah like it was more so why would we keep writing comics where you're giving us where you're making money from the movies and you're also

giving us a Bad Name the comic industry is dying we're basically promoting your bad movies for you but now they own it again I guess I guess it's fine yeah so they'll go back and then they'll tie it into yeah MCU the universe so there's a Hawkeye show coming I'm not sure anyone's asking for that but actually I like Hawkeye and I liked him a lot more since Age of Ultron and onwards I thought they really found his character in that so okay I'll be open to that there's one called one thing that's going to be a bit weird is the timing of all of these movies I think that's going to start to get a bit confusing about the timeline unless they just start going multiple timelines well they yeah Loki's yeah an alternate universe yeah yeah and so that

can just make things quite confusing this is that problem we always we've talked about before the comics always have is that they they do that and then they make this huge mess and then they're like well we got to restart the whole thing from scratch cuz even we can't keep track of this we [ __ ] it yeah yeah yeah and it's a bit harder to do with movies especially well but especially now like we've never had movies like this before like we've had reboots before where it's like three movies and we start again that's fine but this is huge do you start and St I'm interested seeing this secret Invasion Samuel as Nick Fury and Ben melon in some kind of Buddy comedy I'd watch that yeah that's

about the the aliens from um mhm uh what's that movie Scrolls yeah the um the really forgettable one Captain Marvel Captain Marvel there's a Miz Marvel coming out of course yes mhm this is interesting black panther 2 will not recast Chadwick bosan but the movie is still happening what does that mean um provocative oh no that's uh I mean that's intentionally uh intriguing he filmed anything I mean I don't know they're not planning to CGI him are they I don't we don't know please don't this is what this is what this is what they said this is from Kevin for Kevin figy Chadwick Bosman was an immensely talented actor and an inspirational individual who affected all of our Lives professionally and

personally MH his betrayal of toala in the Black Panther is Iconic and transcends any iteration of the character in another medium H for that reason we will not recast the character however to honor the Legacy that Chad helped us build through the portrayal of the king of wakanda we want to continue to explore the world and the rich vared characters introduced in the first film so that character will just not be in it I guess which hope I prefer that over definitely yeah yeah wiing of the Galaxy holiday special yes James any details what this is yet no but James G tweeted this week he tweeted the poster and said even seeing this makes me laugh I bugged Kevin feige endlessly over the years and I can't

believe he's actually doing this it's I I think it's the Star Wars holiday special but it's Guardians of the Galaxy I think they're doing one of those yeah that's what I get the idea of but release it now I want to see it uhuh oh but see this is annoying this is an announcement that this should be announcement and it's out this isn't one that they should be announcing is a coming soon next year type of thing this should have been a this is out and then like they have this drop on Twitter and then the next day it's available to watch we should not have to wait a year for this yeah I see where you're coming from with that this one is like a little like a nice little cherry on the top they didn't need to sizzle

it anoun the blade remake cuz I'm legitimately interested in that yeah maybe with remember that remember when they were talking about that yeah a dude from um Alita is played now yeah I I good point play re yes uh M mAh that's the guy from yeah you're right I'm GNA go with your I'm gonna go with your thing yeah I think it's still happening it's just everything's on hold now so yeah yeah who knows we just too much Ant-Man 3 got a new got a title yeah fine Thor th1 Thor Thor I can't pronounce Thor Thor 11 Thunder has officially cast Christian Bale as the

villain uh which we kind of already knew uh they're shooting I find funny about the the Ant-Man one is I love the Ant-Man character I love Paul R as Ant-Man I just don't like the movies his movies are awful he was great in not his own movies yeah yeah oh Civil War it was amazing yeah Quantum Mania it's called okay whatever Mania and the other thing that's been bouncing around is that so you've got that and then you've got the quantum realm and all that you've got the the new Doctor Strange the Multiverse of Madness which is apparently going to lead into the new Spider-Man movie they're making and this is where it's getting interesting because apparently they've hired everyone who's ever been

in a Spider-Man film to be in this Spider-Man film including other people who were Spider-man and uh Kirsten Dunst interesting what's his name Dr Octopus what was his name um Alfred Molina Alfred Molina apparently he's coming back wow um now I'm going to put this out there that you still haven't watched into the spiderverse correct no no no I understand that this is possible I'm just surprised this is like the this is the ultimate example remember when they first announced they were doing these movies and we poo pooed the idea on this very show and I'm pretty sure I said how the [ __ ] are they going to get all these actors to come back for all these movies all the time how they going to afford this how's this going to happen well they've [ __ ] shown me haven't they cuz now

froming where do they get the cash for this I understand Disney are a big company but they haven't released a film all year I'm wondering if if this Marvel stuff is just so big now that even the actors are like I got to get in on this like [ __ ] Owen Wilson showing up in the Loki trailer out of nowhere I was like Owen Wilson is in this yeah like mind you luk will tell you when the last time Owen Wilson had a job well that's what I'm thinking like what's he been doing ow he's been doing he's been doing a bunch of romantic comedies hasn't he I've seen him on on trailers with things yeah but I don't think you've seen him on trailers I think you've seen him in things from years ago no no no there was he was in a movie I don't know a little while ago all right let me let me let brother

in things I know that okay AR Wilson here we go uh so Shanghai Dawn uh he took 2020 off [ __ ] what actor didn't take 2020 off but no if you look at him even the last sort of three years it's not like he's been in that much sure so he did car 3 in 2017 oh yeah he did a television show something called Wonder father figures a leg he did and then sort of nothing so car three some television shows some movies I've not heard of and now it's got other stuff coming out but yeah I love the idea that I like I love how in Luke's head somewh Owen Wilson right who's probably very wealthy right

if he's not in a movie this year he's [ __ ] on the street he'll do anything and Johnny de no but I also maybe not him cuz he's he's quite success he's probably put some money away but I also think uh it's we also overestimate how much money not the top tier of Hollywood like I remember I remember reading an article once about Diane whis you remember herh um she's in everything right um but she was talking about how she has to [ __ ] move out of her house and into a smaller cheaper house and whoever it was a variety or whatever is like how come she's like cuz I'm not making any [ __ ] money yeahh well it's I mean I often you know I like I like film scores and I like making music for films and that kind stuff but you [ __ ] don't

get paid a lot when you do that unless you're hand Zimmer there's like there's like 10 composers who get 90% of the work get most money other than that it's not a high-paying job no and there's less and less money in it every day and I'm not just talking the music there's just less and less money in film well there's more people doing it and there's less of it like yeah mhm couple of other things that you forget are owned by Disney that have got new content coming out Indie 5 officially announced that's coming and they are confirming that they will still not be replacing will die during the shooting of well I mean they have said this will be the last one wink but they keep saying it no one's asking the question though but they keep bringing it up you

know trust me there will be an Indiana Jones reboot or six coming got plans on how he's going to go I'm positive sh buff has written a script for himself we got some sh buff news coming up yeah might be that might be Afterparty news all right well if you want to hear the shla again because it's been a while go to patreon.com multiple nasm get in on the Afterparty so uh we also talked about the fact that the highest rated cinematic release of uh October this year was Hocus Pocus so of course of course they're now doing Hocus Pocus too yeah of course I haven't seen the first one what the first one about yeah I haven't se neither haven't seen it haven't seen it we not watch it and I probably won't see the sequel no I mean maybe

now might be we have touched on this a bit earlier we were going to discuss something that was postponed and then come out should we discuss that now what are we talking about what are we talking about stuff postponed a few times and finally released yeah yeah yeah I assume people are waiting for us to talk about this to be honest yeah so Dan has hasn't played it yet no and I'm not going to so don't worry about me go ahead I'm assuming Matt you have so cyber Punk cyk I've been playing quite a bit of it probably not as much I hear it's a perfect Flawless and certainly not unfinished game I am just so shocked the bugs that are in this the type of bugs that it's released with make no sense to me um there are some big bugs in the

game for the Post how long it's been back I mean look it's a big game and with a lot going on so I'm not surprised that some bugs but yeah you're right I've know I've this is the first game I've ever played where like it's got as many as this like at launch there's been a few times I've had to like restart the game because it's yeah I had to I've had to save and load a game U mostly to be fair mostly just visual things yeah not like the game hasn't like died on me or anything like that I haven't there was one mission for me where um I was meant to go and talk to Jackie again but Jackie wasn't there so I had to go off and do another mission and come back and then he magically appeared but it's just but big when I go to it's one time I was seeing a truck

drive down the street and then the truck disappeared and there's just a guy sitting in midair driving a truck down the road yeah I have B stuff like um mostly com it's mostly just comical little things like [Laughter] really like it I like it a lot I'm enjoying it I am finding one thing though the missions are a bit syy Yeah World kind of thing yeah yeah yeah yeah it's all it's either still this or rescue this person and that's all it really seems to be but I'm saying I'm still enjoying it yeah one thing I'm finding that I'm doing is I'm driving around everywhere I'm not using the fast travel in the game yeah because I like

to see Drive now for now for now yes there are a lot of [ __ ] NPCs wandering around yeah like it's packed it's like if it feels like a real City it's not like in you know like old games where it's like oh you're in the big city and oh there's one guy on the street corner this is not it's like 100 people in the streets and they are all different it's not like you seen something where it's always the same car and always the same sort of models in that particular area no everyone is different it is the busiest world I've seen which is I guess hug aot while to drive around immersive a world as you were hoping it would be oh it's it's good I think mhm it is good I think the bugs take you out of it a

yeah M I have liked that they've changed their bonus policy at the moment oh because of how it's released used to yeah used to be B based on the reviews that had to get an average critic score meta critic score and then they got huge bonus like we're talking bonuses that will put you a huge deposit on a house yeah cuz for what they work but now they've gone like look we're not cuz they're getting crucified with reviews they're just doing it on sales yeah M instead of the reviews but and look Witcher 3 was also very buggy at launch I don't know that it was this this I don't think this and I think the problem with this is is because they postponed it so many times like months it's drawn attention to the fact that it's and and again I think the they probably

prioritized and it certainly seems like like I said I've not had any bugs that broke the game where I've had to you know like a gotten stuck and I've been up you know like game you know you you you play a game and you hit a bug and it's like your save game is just now [ __ ] right I haven't had really should had that yeah so to their credit they probably prioritized all that stuff and the game is playable it's just goofy [ __ ] happens like you get a tarot card reading and there's no cards like that kind of thing happens future future cards man that's an actual uh thing that happened was I was getting a tarot reading as part of the oh and my pants seem to disappear quite a lot I'm not bad about that I'm not bad about that that is quite

about in that game was like the decisions you make you're going to see like the world the planets change around you but all that happened was you went to a planet did some missions some ships landed set up a settlement and then that was it that was the settlement for not only that then you had to go and do that elsewhere and I'm like well I've done that I want to do something else now but yeah and but then that didn't improve upon that and then they with the DLC where I just went H we're not going to finish the DLC so you know don't worry about that Arc that didn't make it yeah yeah you got read the book you guys didn't like the game well [ __ ] yeah yeah but this does I mean this little teaser doesn't give away anything but what it does is kind of and also fan theame my

iPad sure why not I actually really liked that game and it was buggy I love that actually that's another buggy game speaking well speaking of buggy games like that's the thing like when Bethesda Games come out they're buy as hell at the start but they're a bit more forgiving with what we are with a lot of people being with cyber Punk and again I think it just goes back fact that they actually postponed it yeah it's very similar being more critical you've got a big open world like that I mean shit's going to it's hard you can't test everything no and and to be clear cyber Punk is is really fun great it's it's it t it's more than playable like I'm really enjoying playable L but but I I'm say we are lucky that

we're playing on a new generation I can't wait to see it's game with the series X upgrade I did see that there was a funny article I'm this is true if you're playing on an Xbox One or a PS4 um it has a lot of performance issues but it said that that there's a work around if if the frame rate drops too much just stop looking at stuff so if you're playing the game blow your eyes no so if something's happening right which presumably you look away shoot out yeah just look away from the action look look at something static because exactly just look at the wall or something and then I'll fix it I just that's the funniest solution amazing amazing I'm playing this action game in a big shootout it's like oh frame R dropped a bit I'll just

I'll I'll ignore I I'll ignore this yeah yeah I'm getting over try and do anything just seemed like a but they it was specifically um when you start a shootout a lot of the NPCs around will panic and apparently that in particular causes massive performance issues okay so just stop looking at make a little bit sense in so yeah if you when you start the initial comeback the NPC that on Battle will run away and then you can start fighting I think so it's just that when there out their XBox freaks out so stop looking at them that kind of reminds me of back in the day when they were doing um the first Lord of the Rings movie and they made that AI called massive yeah um which was to just battle two armies against each other so they didn't have to

individually program everyone just had stats but they found out that weaker players were just turning and running when they were up against stronger adversaries yeah do you remember that game we talked about this I think in early episodes of the show remember that game black and white that had the little AI creature you could bash your tiger yeah you had well I like that's oh it's the game where you punch animals that's what Luke did God and you can you train your yes and but if you something like I I must have it was you had a little creature that ran around this island and you had little little villagers that lived on the island and you could train the creatur do things by putting the leash
