The Dark Batmen Return Forever: The Batman Review & Depp-Heard Trial

rit's life cuz it's on pretty much all the time you abused it is 6 years old so I think it's just and just to top it off this week they still want to keep toying with my heart and talk about the rootch UV again yeah I mean they they're toying with it in the right direction this week though I'd have thought so but but they're not though no why they they say they are you've you've been hurt before they specifically announced we've done right by Luke and and we've uh we're going to make things right yeah we're going to give him the movie he wants but this is a good director well I mean I don't know if he's a good director but he directed a good show that we all liked last the last director we had was James Juan yeah but then he

did uh Aquaman and then they were like nah maybe not and now they're doing another Aquaman and now everyone's like you might have to recast that movie yeah we probably don't want to watch that for reason might actually later we'll get to that I actually am happy that they have announced a new director for Robotech yeah but it has been since 20 s which they first announced it that they'll make but at least this means they're doing something right so it still exist they're still talking about it they haven't let it lapse I think what's also happened is there's been a lot of problems with the licensing M and I think they finally sorted it all out last year okay is that because Robotech doesn't actually exist in its original form in Japan it's actually just three

shows that were combined into one show by an American Network and we all know it is something different so you'd have to chase three different properties yeah yeah I think that's part of it cuz yeah it's matross Southern Cross and I always forget the third one burning cross none of these sound Japanese but I'll take your word for it that that's what they're known as but yeah there's three different versions all combined into one and then there's a couple of spin-offs but yeah so I'm actually happy so he directed Hawkeye I liked Hawkeye hawkey was great yeah Hawkeye was good reys Thomas his name is I don't know what else he's done no neither just stop playing with my heart and actually just start making it Marvel do have a a a history of just plucking great talent out of obscurity

or relative obscurity you know you you do one great Indie movie and then suddenly you've got a box office tent pole they are also quick to fire you I've never heard of any of this other stuff he's done oh go on let's see let's see Manic Street Preachers that's a band escaped from history that's probably a music video did Adele live right yeah probably also yeah okay so he's a music video director John meany and the sack lunch brunch documentary now Stanton Island summer and then uh John melany The Comeback Kid which it looks like is a Netflix standup uh oh okay special okay so going from that to Hawkeye is a big job well the problem is it doesn't mention Hawkeye so I'm like that can't be quite right he's doing the masters of

Doom TV movie as well which is okay adaptation of the book about ID which that' be good yeah did you say that was going to be a a series or a movie The Masters of Doom TV movie a TV movie okay I'm less excited about that but that could just mean straight to Netflix okay so the so yeah okay director when are they going to find someone with hair long enough to play John Romero that's my question you know probably going to use a wig pop a wig on him's he's such a iconic looking character though is yeah totally and who's going to play Kam and is he going to do that hey you can make fun of Romero all you want but John karmac deserves every penny that he made and lost for that company oh absolutely he's the Real Genius and he went on to he he like got rid of his speech

impediment like literally yeah like he used to do that he used to go at the end of sentences and now he doesn't do it and you know what they both do now they make mobile games karmac went and did a rockets and stuff that's where the money is and then he worked at actual Rockets yeah actual Rockets yeah armadillo space something yeah and he was oculus and then he quit Oculus and apparently now he's working on AI so oh okay yeah right yeah but he's a smart dude he is yeah he is a genius Romero is a character character he was there yeah I me don't no contributions yeah yeah exactly he had some great ideas and he made doing what it was but he's not g to do much and then he made da Katana exactly which proved that you can have one amazing gamechanging game and he bought into him into into

the hype about himself too much and uh yeah I he seems like a lovely guy he just like I said yeah bought into it a bit too much do they still have their Ferraris or are they downsized I don't know they might still have them because they they bought like twin Ferraris didn't they like when they both became millionaires that's I think that's what we were talking about the other week and cuz karmac hooked his laptop up to his and it showed up at some Ferrari Meetup to like show it off and they were all like get out you Heathen no how dare do mhm yeah no you have to keep it in mint condition exactly mint um we mentioned delicious mint Aquaman 2 and I'm assuming Amber turd is in that the T the turd's back Flo the turds Flo

back up to the into the ccle people been talking about the turd this week no longer is it on the pillowcase of yesterday's news you see there's a clip literally Amber herd leaving the courtroom and then people yelling out and some woman yells why' you poop on the pillow Amber why'd you poop and then and then she goes thank you like oh God I can't wait till she starts testifying because right now it is very one side I've got a lot to say about this I've still been following this week but um I I've only I've caught the cliff note and I've watched some long clips and and Johnny Depp has been very charming and her lawyers have been fairly useless really did did you see yesterday where her lawyer objected to

his own question yes yes and then yeah he's like objection and you asked the question he like oh objection he said yeah but you just asked because yeah you asked he answered he answered you rephrased the question so that he had to to answer the same question in a different way and then you objected [ __ ] idiots I liked there's a bit where they were they reading going through all the text messages that Johnny Depp sent and the her lawyer was like so this text message you said let's burn Amber this is between him and Paul betney apparently yeah let's burn Amber Johnny de's like yes and he goes he goes and then you stop there you said let's drown her before we burn her yes and he goes he and then and then you said and then I'll [ __ ] her burnt corpse to make

sure she's dead did I read that correctly what and then Johnny just goes you certainly did Sir yes you you've read it all very correctly sir and then I've got a clip here this is Johnny Depp being confronted with just tabloid news headlines for some reason like the lawyer thought this was like some kind of like character evidence says Johnny Depp reportedly drank heavily and was con stantly late on the new Pirates movie Set did I read that right you did reportedly the next article 2017 Mr this is a pathetic attempt Mr Depp please just respond to the question that I'm asking you's your question the next the next document an article published in Vanity Fair on May 10th 2017 yes is entitled Johnny Depp's

Financial woes might sink the next Pirates of the Caribbean did I read that right you you did I don't know would do May 25th 2017 a year and a half before the oped was published an article entitled where did it all go wrong for Johnny Depp after a string of flops and a ton of bad press Johnny Depp's star power looks as wobbly as Jack's Pharaoh on a plank did I read that right you read that very very well the next one Hollywood Reporter May 27th 2017 headline Pirates of the Caribbean the diminishing returns of Johnny Depp did I read that right you certainly did Hollywood Reporter were very nice to me this one thing is for sure he may lose this case and it won't matter because he has regained every bit of

lost publicity yeah and even to the point where I'd kind of completely forgotten about Johnny Depp I can't remember the last time I saw a Johnny Depp movie and suddenly in the last 2 weeks he's now my favorite actor again I've remembered all of the movies I loved the past I'll see whatever he comes out with next for me I hope after all this they their careers go stop completely cuz they're both just terrible people and we should stop giving them money that they can be terrible people yeah yeah I think they've just abused each other I think the the main question though that this trial is going to try to bring to light is did Amber herd literally put on bruise makeup and take photographs of herself to fake that she

was bashed Johny de bash her yeah like I mean polish to do blood in the nose it's like what neither are good outcomes but no it would be good to know which it is because if if Amber herd really was bashed by her husband went public about it and he's just so Charming this whole thing gets swept under the rug legally and in the court of public opinion then that is awful mhm he's certainly winning that battle right now everyone loves yeah but if if the opposite is true and she has manipulated so many people by literally pretending to be bashed that's [ __ ] up then it's good that that comes out so man did you see the uh did you see the [ __ ] the old desk clerk who testified from his car while vaping drinking a Mountain Dew and then at one point just [ __ ] drives off while

they're [ __ ] like talking to him in court amazing unbelievable now there are I I assume you just have to stand stand by for hours and hours until they call you because some of these people even Johnny Deb's agent at one point he's in his house testifying and the next time they cut to him he's in a mall so I assume these people are just living their lives and just waiting to if and when they get called in well I've been called into to court as a witness before and it is go on you just go in I sat in court I sat there for I think about 5 hours and then I was in court for like 6 minutes yeah right but yeah it was him what did you witness oh what someone crash a car and then they got beat up oh [ __ ] okay was it Amber Hood it wasn't Amber hood or Johnny Depp this is imp

septic but I think everyone finally can't pretend anymore that it's still all glittery and glamorous so Will Smith gets banned from the academy for 10 years for the slap yeah but he won in the award after the slap yeah should they not take back the award because 100% they're [ __ ] cowards for not doing it yeah you're banned but you can have an award it's it's nothing call that a slap wrist is even an exaggeration you're banned but you don't really need to be in anymore you already got exactly you can't come to the party now you don't have to do those those sort of Oscar bait movies anymore you can do popular movies that'll make you money I mean there are certain things I think there's a trend where the winner of last year presents it the next

year for that same category sometimes and stuff he doesn't get that honor but I'm like I'm sure he doesn't give a [ __ ] well he doesn't have to be a member of the academy to do that does he he uh he's not invited he's not allowed to's banned from all Academy events fine but I don't know what yeah no but you raised a valid point Matt what does being a member of the academy mean you get to vote do you have to be a member of the academy to win an Academy Award that that's what I mean I I like if they if you're nominated do you have to join some some gu I don't know no idea and that's why we don't have Academy Awards that's one reason that's one reason the only reason it should have been it needs to have be canceled a caring about it a very long

time ago cuz it's not it's not about movies we like it's not about the movies that people like it's about actors sometimes it is but rarely that's like when that you know I mean I know we didn't like this but there was that you know that cheerworks body there was like we haven't seen that movie none of us audience choice not this audience mate no I completely completely agree with yeah look I don't want to move off movies um and in the past we've dedicated entire episodes to single movies in this particular franchise and I'm not suggesting we do that but I would be very very excited to hear Matt's opinion on a little movie called The Batman which he has now seen I even

I went a little further than I did did some more research uh afterward and I rewatched a classic movie that we've argued about on this very show with a host oh you wanted you wanted to see if I I want to see if a certain vehicle exploded into another exploded into a certain other vehicle yeah exactly yeah so I I watched the Batman I was on a very long flight well you've got a very long movie uh in um San Diego this week and on the way over I watched the Batman I liked it it was it was all right it was good iy I you're going to see it again though possibly not maybe Jenna would want to watch it I don't know in which case I probably would watch it again it wasn't it like it was watching a movie on a plane is different I think M so and I'm taking

that into account because the fact that it was 3 hours long was actually beneficial for me because the flight is 5 hours which is [ __ ] painful and so the longer a movie is and engages me on any level the better right cuz then it's like oh there only two hours left that's good yeah so I can watch Batman again yeah so I did enjoy it uh I liked I liked him I could watch a better Batman in the time remaining no I I watched that on the way back but I watched yeah so I liked I liked him as Batman I liked I thought all the performances were good I thought his portrayal of Batman and Bruce Wayne were Stellar I liked uh that wasn't my problem with the movie I did so I I remembered your um so little spoilers I guess somewhat but it's been two weeks so Luke's Luke's going to allow it I

guess right mhm spoilers it's it's on streaming no excuse for not watching this yet uh I certainly don't yeah so his bird clue right it was actually it's actually not as bad as you led me to but there is still some holes yeah because what he says is he goes he goes uh it's it's it's um rat with Wings is the clue right R oh no El rat something about rat with wings oh you are yeah and then it's a URL it's www. rto.com yeah except well that's the thing right that they get it wrong technically and they think you are the you the rat with wings oh rat with wings is a pigeon oh the penguin also has wings so they think it's the penguin right so they this whole big thing they [ __ ] catch the penguin the Penguin's

like I don't know what you're talking about yeah and they go oh it was Falcone cuz it's a falcon and then but then he goes online and to to the website then he discovers he translated it wrong goes online to the website right so it wasn't rat with wings they got it wrong but then they get on the website and The Riddler says did you find the rat with wings and I was like hang on I thought they got the [ __ ] clue wrong we we just clarified that's not what it was so I don't yeah I mean I don't know maybe I'm missing something about that but that maybe maybe the Riddler knew knew that their Spanish would have been subpar and that they would have made that assumption yeah it might have been a bit clever but yeah but then yeah and then you're right later on he goes oh

Falcons have wings too and I was like mhm yeah yeah the audience probably got that already we got it yeah also we know that mob boss [ __ ] Carmine FAL FAL is a yeah I liked some of the twists there was some different stuff you know her being his daughter and all that and stuff that's cool yeah and I didn't I actually didn't know he was playing Falcone that was a surprise mhm um what's his name uh Liu no John li no that's certainly not him to tuturo to joho that's himuro the other John that's not John Ki or John Romero or my neighbor tooro and I definitely thought the movie was over when he was going to see The Riddler in prison and then it really wasn't no and I was like I actually could have done without that end bit

every else like it made the flight go faster but I was like the movie really should have ended when they caught him I mean you don't want that on the poster though watch this on a plane it'll make the flight go faster no no but I just felt like it was like after that it was like I we didn't need this like it really could have wrapped up there was no cuz that that sequence afterwards wasn't that great you know with the with they flooded the city and then I don't need this no that that set piece was an absolute waste of time yeah but are they planning to make a sequel to this one yes they've announced it 100% are they've announced it why yeah because they made it so clear this was just a standalone didn't they like no no this is not but Warner has a

new executive I don't know whether it's the CEO or just [ __ ] chairman or head of content or whatever who wants to reboot DC again and uh I guess this is is step one step two step one is fire Ezra Miller before he beats yeah that's right and I guess step three is take all the great footage that they no doubt have of Michael Keaton from the now abandoned Ezra Miller flash project and edit it into this Batman sequel starring Robert patson yeah look I I think he's a great Batman I'm happy to watch more Batman I just want them to do a better movie I just want him to do a better way I agree this just wasn't very interesting yeah there's a lot I liked about it but the end the end like I said after the after

they encounter Riddler in the diner and they arrest him and all that kind of stuff and then as soon as all of that was great as soon as he pulled the carpet up I was like not another [ __ ] plan literally he's in the he's in there the rid like oh you didn't really figure it out there's another hour of movie left yeah that's right yeah the Riddler was creepy though oh yeah The Riddler was [ __ ] excellent yeah it's good yeah you know who wasn't creepy and this is a spoiler The Joker yeah I don't know about this Joker and they've they've put online the the deleted scene with him and it there was actually supposed to be earlier in the movie I I just don't know about that it was ballsy I mean look The Joker is my favorite Batman baddy but that said stop

putting him in the Batman movies he's been done now we've seen every possible Joker there's so many other baddies you've got [ __ ] Bookworm King pix someone else Rody MCD a giant book yeah so I I did I watched The Dark Knight on the way back cuz I was like let's now since the the Batman's fresh in my mind and I did enjoy it let me rewatch The Dark Knight and just see how I feel about that and I got to say The Dark Knight has the same kind of problem where at the end there it's like oh okay literally he get catches the Joker and the Joker Goes you didn't figure out the whole thing because now D's gone and been a naughty

man and now people AR now the movie part two is coming yeah so it's but it's not as long like after that like it's just as bad but it's not as long it's it's the same thing but it's just not another hour it's like another 20 minutes where they wrap up that whole twoo fac thing and but there is some janky stuff in the Dark Knight more than I remembered where it's it's a also exploding from Batmobile it's a little goofy no it's got It's got goofy bits and the acting in it is more everyone talks about how it being serious dark movie it's actually got more tongue and- cheek stuff than than than that like when um and I think that's why I didn't mind that series cuz it was it was a comic book movie still

it was visually dark a bit of Yeah well yeah but since then we've had bat flick and we've had [ __ ] emo Batman like if they keep making him darker he's just going to be [ __ ] psychopath looks shocked the darkest Batman you've seen he's just a [ __ ] dero but there's that bit where he goes he goes to Lucius and he's like yeah I need new armor and then and he he's like also I need an airplane to be able to pick me up out of a building and then Lucius is just like oh yeah we could probably yeah I got yeah we can do that no worries and it's I was like oh yeah this is a bit more hokey than I remember it's fine I like when he says we is isn't it literally just him on an entire floor of the [ __ ] Wayne building yeah does he this has that guy the guy figure out

the figures out that it's Bruce Wayne the accountant who's like looking after the deal with that Chinese company and he figures out it's Bruce Wayne and he goes on TV and do you want a blackmail him right but then he goes on TV to unmask Batman but then the Joker says cuz he doesn't want Batman unmasked that um if he's not dead within an hour he's the Joker will blow up a hospital and so then people just randomly start trying to murder this guy and then and which is interesting because later in the movie they have that sequence with the fairies that's like the opposite of that like so they they do this whole thing where they show oh the the citizens of Gotham are insane and they'll literally [ __ ] kill a man but then later on they do the opposite where they show that the CI of

Gotham are good people and they won't kill each other it you could say that about any Christopher Nolan movie though is that the the one thing he doesn't necessarily nail is he puts a little too much plot into everything yeah it's like he's finished the script and then he goes what about this or what about this happen to this could also happen yeah I maintain that the Batmobile does not explode into the bat pod it ejects him from the Batmobile and one of the front wheels of the Batmobile is the front wheel of the batp you see him lower himself into that right component yeah it's kind of yeah and it ejects him built with that in mind but then worse worse even than that I think I noticed that he's driving around in this thing and he there two things in particular

there's a bit where the little kids are in the car and they like pretending to shoot and then and then they go and then a car just explodes right and I was like how the [ __ ] did Batman know no one was in that car uhuh because they're clearly waiting in traffic and he just starts blowing up cars to get through it's like he could have literally just killed a bunch of people like how does he know they're vacant but that that m that Batman doesn't kill anyone so it's fine right so he knows he just knows he just knows but and then there's and then he drives a bit more and then he comes there's a bit where he drives through a mall keep talking for two seconds I've got to just piece out for a sec okay he drives through a mall but to get into the mall he shoots the glass out you see

him shoot and he goes through the glass and then suddenly he's driving through a crowded mall and it's like and there is no way that you canot accidentally hit someone how did he not shoot somebody so anyway I he's just he's a maniac yeah but it's still very good it's still very good movie yeah but I don't know if they want if they want this to be the new direction of the DC Universe do they just cancel the other movies now like the ones that are literally in production well yeah well they got a probably canel flash which was the one that was going to reset everything cuz there's no way they can come out with that yeah Flash and then depending on how all this stuff with with Johnny Depp goes maybe Aquaman too cuz I think she's

still in it so like if this really does turn into a because public opinion on her is not great right now like whether that changes or great for some while yeah has been great since the start though no but I think now it'sing her they were talking about recasting her before as well Rob but they've already shot this and she's in it so now they have to decide they going to release it or but yeah but I think the big one is do they release the flash cuz that's oh yeah because he's literally that's been shown to be [ __ ] out of control yeah yeah I don't know I don't know it would be I don't the problem is that sounds like a good movie or or I mean it's got Michael Keaton in it as Batman

which makes it a good movie in my opinion yeah that that's that's sort of the only part on sort of looking forward to out of the entire thing yeah seeing Mel K is Batman again but that's it yeah well I don't know wait and see no I want to know now and then the Joker is like he raped me and they're like no absolutely not so uh oh hey Dan welcome back sorry my baby crying in the background went from regular crying to my wife probably needs some help crying cuz she was crying as well cuz she was yeah also crying yeah when the second the second set of Tears comes in you know you need it is this just a new DC movie are they going to cancel Flash and Aquaman I mean at this point it would be just easier

to yeah but because honestly I mean we we we talked about it before but being very cryptic I assume people knew what we were talking about Amber herd can't be in the new [ __ ] you wouldn't put Amber herd in a movie right say I think it depends on how this all like right now no public opinion on her is very bad but like there's more of this stupid court case to go and maybe yes and she hasn't word yet yeah so maybe it'll turn I don't know people are I also think public opinion on Journey dep should be bad as well well it isn't it's wrong because he's charming and he's making people laugh yeah yeah he's trying to make people laugh but he's also an [ __ ] yeah but and he's really leaning into it like he's basically his whole defense is yep I drink too much yep I'm

addicted to [ __ ] drugs yep I [ __ ] yell and scream and I Punch walls and I'm a bit of a [ __ ] but you know what I'm not a wife beater that fit where he [ __ ] reads the the attorney's like look at these text messages here where you're talking about how you like being mad at each other and you went for the throat and she says I forgive you my throat is yours and then he goes and then the lawyer goes and then you replied to her I've got other uses for your throes for that throat and then he repeat I've got other uses for that throat and then Johnny Depp goes could you repeat that again please laughing yeah do anyone else want to know what's in that giant [ __ ] one liter steel thermos that he brings in

every day like for sure he's Irish up that coffee you know oh apparently he's not though right he's oh but who knows you wouldn't be though you would no like I mean he he' just be every morning looking himself in the mirror going you have to be sober just until the [ __ ] trial over not today yeah depending on how much he does drink maybe he does need to keep it Irish so to keep it straight yeah yeah cuz you're better off being that little bit tipsy than being a resident expert yeah oh low blow low blow what he off he offered himself up as as the as the as the [ __ ] alcoholic of the podcast exactly not trying to bmer him okay well okay thanks

from the US to Australia but this was one of the longest flights you can do in the US I guess it was going from San Diego to um to New Jersey it's quite long mhm and um for in Australia it's going from like Sydney to Perth yeah so it was it was like 5 and half did you land in new yes exactly right when I was a kid and I used to hear people say Newark I just used to think that was new yorker's accents saying New York like I'm from New York I mean okay it's very close to the it's like basically on the other side of the Border SL River so mhm um so everything's fine right uh I'm watching the dark everything's good I actually put Dune on to rewatch as much of that as I could get through cuz I was like I don't really care if I don't watch you can watch one dark night and

one Dune in the span of watching One the Batman one dark night and a half Dune well yeah cuz it's part one man so anyway the um the that's right so then the captain comes on and goes ah there's a bit of a bit of wind coming into coming into New York so prepare for some turbulence and it was honestly I don't know what it was about it particularly cuz I've been through I've had turbulence in planes before I've never had a problem but this was just so nauseating like whatever whatever was going on with the plane and then I started to I was literally think I was like I really don't feel well and so I I checked the seatback thing and I'm like there's no bath bag in the back of my seat I was like okay so this can't happen to that point yeah yeah yeah well

I was I was actually worried and then I'm looking around and I see people Fanning themselves and like and other people going and I was like it's not just me it's it's the it's the plane mhm and so um I guess I didn't really notice at first cuz I was trying to distract myself but people had been throwing up and then the plane landed right and the guy next to me goes oh [ __ ] that and then and I was like yeah me too I was like okay good it's not just me and then this [ __ ] this girl gets up and just like runs up like literally still taxiing on the runway this girl gets up takes a bell gets up and runs for the bathroom and then the flant like Excuse miss back to your seat and she goes get out of my way and like shoves way into the the

bathroom and then we just hear and like so she's vomiting I I have homework for you and and then everyone else starts vomiting because they can hear her vomiting and apparently the girl next to her started vomiting and that set her off so she ran to the bathroom and anyway they had to send a cleanup crew on to clean the front of the plane before they could let us off oh wow so that you wouldn't slip in the vomit on the way out mhm can you ask Doug what may have caused that like absolutely if that's a thing cuz that that seems weird like it made like it it made you physically feel yeah and like I said I was like what's going on I don't normally get sick is it maybe I maybe I ate something or whatever and then I realized no it's it's everybody and

actually I not as bad the plane shaking about going up and down like and it was very like you know like in a roller coaster where you get that feeling in your stomach it was like a a lot of that more than like really really nausey maybe it was the fact it was just more a yeah ask it ask our friend pilot yes I will I'll say he might to explain yeah what the specifics of that were cuz the guy next to me was like he was like oh is it always like that and I was like what Landing a plane I like no I've never seen someone Run for the bathroom to vomit well somebody somebody had never been on a plane before no and I and I but I thought that's what he meant and then he was like he's like no no no I fly all the time I just meant is it always that like coming into nework and

I was like oh I mean this Runway I assume not because he he said I've got I've got to fly back to San Diego next week and then I'm coming back the week after he goes now I'm [ __ ] terrified and I was like sure it's that day right I mean I actually like turbulence because I don't trust it when planes are perfectly smooth because rocketing through space I want to know that I'm moving I want to be able to feel the inertia of it and I enjoy that light little rocking that turbulence gives you but this sounds like something I've never ever experienced we have actually we have a listener who may be able to shed some light on it too so uh I once had a plane descend so fast that like I suddenly got a splitting headache

like like right unbearable headache yeah that's that's as closest I've gotten so yeah that was very unpleasant and then some guy at New York airport collapsed like catatonic and was like like they somebody I guess unrelated from your flight or I don't know no actually I don't I don't know that might have been but he was just sat there and he kind of flopped over in the chair and then people were like oh [ __ ] they called security guards over and they got the paramedics out and the guy was like seemingly conscious but he was just kind of like nodding and then they're like oh do you know where you are sir and he was like yeah yeah yeah and then they're like What's your name yeah yeah Y and like like he couldn't he just was not responsive and so they had

to take him away on a on a stretcher I hope he's all right but we'll never know no no much like d incident in his driveway they're not going to call me up and let me know how he is but yeah hope he's all right he's not an old guy either like and I'm moving in 2 weeks so this won't even be my driveway someone else's problem now someone else's problem there's so many things around this house that I just look at now that used to just give me just that little Pang that now I just like that's somebody else's problem that quite not quite straight skirting board that's somebody else's problem now and they haven't noticed it yet they've just bought the place but they'll notice it and it'll give it'll give them just as

much grief as it's given me and their time to back out has passed well TR over or they can still back out they just you just get the keep to the deposit which does happen yeah although it'll be an absolute pain in the ass I meant to move in two week you have to go through all well no you wouldn't have to move then I need the settlement for this house to pay for the house I'm moving into that's a bit of a problem let's borrow the money off Luke yeah I'm loaded oh I have money loaded on painkillers yeah yeah spend it all on Lego by the way I ran off just before when you were showing the Tumblr that's significantly smaller than the um 89 Batmobile that you've got isn't it it it is a hell of a lot smaller I going to say it's significantly smaller than it

on the 28th of April in Japan what why like a week later I guess because they're going to need a Japanese voice actor to learn to do Chris Pratt's bad Italian accent but in Japanese good point I don't know I think cuz I haven't they learned that by when you do this when you do like a worldwide release then leave it later for somewhere else people just go and pirate it yeah well yeah except in this case they're going to want it to be in their language cuz it's an animation so it's not a dub it's just they're going to want to wait for their local language or whatever I if it was England or Australia that that was waiting I would agree with you but I think I think foreign language animation they probably they probably would wait

it's it's not a long wait it's so mov from December this year to April yeah oh yeah it's a year from now but yeah like yeah a delay of four months so it's not really the whole waiting for movies though is all off for me at the moment because it used to be if there was a movie coming out I wanted to see I'd see it like the weekend it came out so I saw it in the first batch or if it was going to be released on and now it's all up in the air because they had those strange day and date releases yes then they had like okay it's you know HBO Max in America and just where whenever you can get it anywhere else in the world and Co was meaning that no one wanted to go to the cinema and so now just like I'll see it when I see it well there there's an article in here they just had

cinemacon and Warner Brothers had a big presentation there and part of that was basically a big apology to all the theaters like AMC and everybody saying yeah sorry we won't be doing that anymore theater only so like they've committed to just doing which I think is interesting because I mean I know they make a lot of money I guess it's just money they they must make enough money from Cinema that they still want to do it because Cinema releases feel archaic to me now well I don't think it's so much the money even that they're making from the the the movie I think it's also the money that it generates for sort of the area as well because people are going out and spending money which gives people jobs people also get sure but why does a Hollywood studio

island okay yep that's the plot of the second one and that's a plot of the second one and there's a whole thing should we go and save the dinosaurs or not and there's a court case and they go nope we're just going to let them die what about the ocean dinosaurs that that they had in there they they didn't get out they they they were yeah they didn't get out that was already dead Okay so nothing escaped the island as such except but people the these guys who want to sell it to other countries to use for armies or something went in and stole some of the dinosaurs and were auctioning them off right okay all right yeah it made no sense I guess I got to watch it I am curious but I but I don't understand

is soulless I felt they were soulless the first one the thing that made no sense to me is they've got the park people are going people can ride dinosaurs and but they got fall you know there's still right where you're not allowed to ride the animals and they're animals that really exist and no one's bored of that yeah yeah I think that's where that and the second one made even less sense where they don't reopen the park they let they let it overgrow and it's going to I think a volcano is going to destroy it okay and so the whole thing is about trying to save the dinosaurs pret wants to go back and save his Raptors right and super RoR bad guys want to go and steal them and sell them to evil countries like

know what [ __ ] it you could be from anywhere there's no nothing that says Alan Grant can't be from New Zealand just do your own voice and then he was like oh okay they started filming and then he was like oh maybe don't don't be quite so New Zealand and then he's like maybe find halfway between that American that you were doing on the first day and the new Ze you were doing now well I haven't practiced that yeah so he was just trying to kind of feel his way through what a half American half New Zealand accent might be like maybe we didn't notice it because we're sort of used to both accents yeah sure so and actually I've never noticed Sam Neil to sound particularly New Zealand anyway and Aussie ears are usually quite in tune with the differences I know from

mouth of Madness as well which I know is a trash movie but I love it it's John carer fantastic movie yeah great movie I think it's widely considered to be trash but that's whatever and he doesn't have a kiwi accent in that he plays in amer I think he's got more of an strain one that's what I think too but I think that's just because he's played down the Kiwi of it to just be a bit more broad over the years can't we can't we just go AUST he's Australian just claim him oh we have we have it's just a kiwi as well isn't he oh they can have him they can [ __ ] have row no no because of Russell Crow we have the South City rabbito back it is his one contribution to to to the Australian culture fighting around the world he owns the

like they have to stop I had mentioned it but luk mentioned it so that's the F1 menion of the week but yeah it's stopped we're going to change team oh we're going to kick we're going to bring this team on oh we're going to do this stop oh they didn't catch the ball stop time we ran out of bounds stop time MH yeah I don't know how how it works the only game I've watched I guess the um I think I've watched hockey here and I went to a baseball game I watched the Red Sox and the Yankees which is apparently a very oh okay you know not prestigious but like people love to watch that cuz there a big rivalry rivalry there but it was mostly he went for like 4 hours and the first two like 3 and a half everybody just seemed disinterested and got drunk and then right at the end it actually

got interesting cuz it was like oh somebody's win yeah and then and then everyone got really engaged so that was my takeaway was it is that what baseballs I've never watched a baseball game I'm aware of baseball but is that how it works yeah that's the only one I've seen um essentially essentially from what I've seen yes there's they because not a lot really happens and a good game can be like one team scores one run right it's like cuz like I think early on it could just it could go either way and so it's kind of like yeah we'll see what happens kind of you do your ironing while you're watching it are they called runs yeah yes another dumb question for someone who's never watched baseball do the Red Socks wear red

at it certainly is just like yeah I can't help but think there's someone behind it and I'm like mhm right mhm really she's like yeah I'll tell you one thing it's not the Chinese and I'm like no you know that do you and she's like it's the Americans and I was like oh she's like have you noticed that all of the vaccines come from America I'm like I don't think that's true but true not true not true I think I think scientists and Pathologists the world over were coming together to make those there's Russian ones Chinese ones European ones American ones Australian ones anyway so I was like oh yeah yeah she's like and you know we we have to all buy them from America like again

don't know that that's true but I'm going to there was a problem where America bought them all at the beginning because they put a bunch of money into funding them in other countries and then said we'll give you all the money but you got to give us first dibs and we just bought them all that happened yeah but then uh she started going yeah cuz America it's just all about capitalism I'm like okay I can get on board this so she's like um I mean that's true then she starts going maybe something needs to be done about America whoa and I was like sorry what and she was like and then like suddenly suddenly she was like maybe America needs to get wiped off the face of the earth and I was like now if if I was anywhere other than

a [ __ ] hairdresser in the NorthShore of Sydney I I I would think calling the police yeah like but like I'm pretty sure this woman's just regurgitating some [ __ ] she's disgust all North America including Canada and Mexico americ South America yeah Jesus Hawaii the Philippines cuz it was a former American colony yeah jeez yeah got real awkward got real awkward wow so you didn't sign up then you can tell me if you did no I'm not even going back there to get my haircut so no chance of that but does she think the Earth's flat I guarantee you she's got an opinion on it or one way or the
