they're not ready for it I think they're having trouble upscaling mhm I know slow are a prehistoric breed of elephant and yet the name still makes me giggle do you wonder know why I went there Jennifer hail Fair she went I'm doing this thing I don't know what it is but everyone else do it I went if you're go there I'm going to go there ha right so if we ever need Luke to do anything we just need to get her on board Jen could you please start editing the podcast actually I've I've also used Jennifer hail to to make one of our other friends do something hilarious too but I mean I don't want to embarrass him publicly but we did tell Carlo once that she was at Beer Club oh yes rode his

bike acoss Sydney to get there and then when he turned up we were like oh sorry we actually didn't think you would do that that was a joke yeah but jennif H is the best but no i' I've been to madon it's very slow I and it just looks like Twitter yeah masteron is uh you can run it yourself on a server which is why why it's slow is cuz a lot of people I think have been using it on little tiny servers cuz no one's been interested for a long time and then now all of a sudden everyone like oh mastedon cuz Elon Musk sucks and and because of Jennifer hail obviously and because because of Jennifer hail and they're just not prepared for it so well I like one of the when they go when you're signing up like theyve putting Like rules about like guidelines and one

me nothing illegal in Germany so that's depends on the survey you're on the rules are set by the sery you're on Mastadon is is uh Federated right so the rules only apply to the server that you're on and you can communicate with people on other servers unless your server blocks them and it's this whole big thing where it's kind of like a multiple Community it's not like Twitter where it's just one website but but how do I know what I I have I just joined well you hopefully you did a b research and joined a server that's relevant otherwise I mean maybe you should join the server that allows things that are illegal in Germany if what you really want to do is upload old versions of Wolfenstein 3D

they're allowed to have that now there's just not there's not just one masteron it's doesn't quite work like that that's why I think you're right I think people are confused about what this is yeah and that's what I've been reading a lot of people sort of signed up and then a lot of people going no idea what I'm doing or how this works yes it's a bit confusing I mean I understand it but I still don't really know how everything works because I've never used it I think they're going to they I think if they get the traffic and they start to get the advertisers on board they will simplify and it will just become Twitter too well that's the problem is that no it won't because it can't because it's not that's not how it works it's open source and it's Federated so it's it's

not it's not one thing nobody there isn't anybody who could do that like there's no one person or company that could do that going to fail it's like a thousanders every Ser has different rules there must be some central point where it all joins right that's the whole point of it that's the whole point of it is that there not it's supposed to be about you know power to the people kind of thing oh yeah don't don't leave it up to the people please there is no Central Authority as far at least that's my understanding of it is internet and way to not do that yeah well look I think everything starts off that way and then they get to a point certain point and then but that's why the Romans had their Republic and they said but as soon as the people start

losing [ __ ] sight of the end goal we just become a fascist dictatorship for a while to get back on track and if any if the internet's taught me anything it's that that actually has some Merit I know what you mean but like you can't do that with it it's not it doesn't work like that it's like you know like we have I'm talking about the whole world now Matt I'm talking about you know the internet is a thing and everybody has a website the internet or or like nobody on the internet can come and say you've got to you know do this on your website now that's you don't know what I've got on my website Matt so masteron is like that it's like everybody's got their own server like we could set up a multiple nerdgasm masteron server M and we make the

rules exactly only things that are illegal in Germany I'm not going to do that because it would be a waste of time money resources and no one to join it but but we could do that know because even though I created the account we've posted nothing and we probably never will masteron in quotes can't come along and say well now now you've we're taking over and putting ads on it it's just it's not how it works then then then honestly if they I don't see it going very far then because I think the biggest down for is it's confusion but also how slow it is and if Mason don't come in and start making being able to invest money by making money it's not going to get faster and no one's going to use it heard of this until just now so I

loaded in and it took like close to a minute for the page to load with well that's just the server you're on too like I said I could spin this up on you could spin a masteron server up on your computer there Luke if you wanted to yeah but um and then that you're responsible for that and the if it's slow it's cuz your computer's too slow yeah but 99.9% of users are not going to do that no no no I know I'm yeah yeah that's what I'm saying I think there's a lot of confusion out there about what Mastadon is it's not the same as Twitter it's different to Twitter in fundamental ways so a piece of software we better figure it out Quicks smart cuz Elon is running into the ground um I heard something I don't know if it's true that he's

basically locked everyone out for the weekend I saw that too I don't know if that's true I don't know anymore I feel at a certain point I would have said that was horseshit and and now with what I've already seen I would say that's perfectly plausible yeah there was a guy on Twitter who said that he so Elon sent out this email saying you've all got to commit to this hardcore Twitter that we're going to re we're going to redo Twitter it's going to be hardcore you're going to have to work 500 hours a week and if uh if you're not up for that it's fine you get three months Severance everybody you know it's fine go for it and uh 70% I believe of the company said thanks for the severance yeah see you later absolutely including apparently this guy who was in charge of the access

cards for the building and who after he quit somebody [ __ ] something up and locked everybody out of the building I don't know if that's true but I also saw that on Twitter well El did you see it that that one I think one weird cuz most buildings I've ever worked in it's never been the employer that I'm at it's always been like the building that handles the entry like they normal higher security and they handle the ins and outs and entry so that one I don't I have a bit of a hard time believing but they're locking everyone out and firing and everyone leaving I can believe I also saw an interesting thing about how uh CU Twitter is not Twitter is an American company but they have employees and officers around the world world and in particular employees in Europe were

asked oh you you guys all get fired by that email and uh the response was like no because you can't fire Somebody by just sending an email saying you now have to agree to this new rule today or you're fired yeah so we're all just coming to work continuing to get paid yeah and maybe one day he's going to figure out that he can't just fire us that way but we'll be here working and getting paid you're laying off people like that in like other countries there's got to be like discussions and sort of the unions involved in a lot of cases but isn't it [ __ ] wild that you can do that in America yes like he can fire people that way here that's [ __ ] crazy it's a it's it's an actual thing like when a new CEO or something comes in normally at that stage there's a lot

of firings and people get promoted and demoted like that's an actual it's called at will I believe and I mean that's how I'm employed my company could just say see you but I mean I get the benefit of also of being able to do that but like um I mean i' would be more screwed than they would it benefits them more than it benefits you exactly exactly Public Service all the way America is a funny Place agreed sure is but they'll be thankful this week or actually they'll be thankful today I think it's today what is today Thanksgiving when this episode comes out oh you're right sorry I was going to say no otherwise I would be drunker than I am yeah eating a turkey

before we move on from Twitter related things though did you guys see did you guys see everyone just mute Donald Trump the other day well is he back on there is he no no no not on Twitter sorry I'm just seg social um and CNN and everywhere were broadcasting him and then as he started becoming more and more deranged they just they just cut him off I didn't see that so it was him officially declaring that he is going to or he does intend to run for the next presidency yeah except that um him actually saying that didn't didn't make it to air in a lot of places because they they' muted him before that oh man I saw that a lot of um a lot of other Republican leaders have said nah we're not supporting him this time he's running we'd prefer to try and

win the election somehow and that's not how you're going to do it we prefer to actually bring our own values back to the table here and not just your crazy ad hoc megal Mania he's too big a risk like if he's running they'll probably lose he's running so he's running at the moment which means he's going to be on the next ballot but that ballot is going to be for who's going to be on the ballot for the presidency the primaries right that the governor of Florida that guy he'll probably end up beating him looking like which is I mean yeah good but I mean but not as insane no I don't know I don't know I don't know a lot about him I haven't heard good things but I don't know a lot about him less terrifying I was to say more traditional in ways that I

think are important traditionally awful yeah yeah exactly yeah yeah not deranged lunatic right yeah but who knows yeah I'm going have to retract those if this if if you're listening two years from now this episode's still up you know we lost yeah that's right yeah yeah or if you want to make a clip of us ironically saying well at least he's not a deranged lunatic and you want to broadcast it over the um post-apocalyptic Wasteland that is America just to get a chuckle yeah go for it and don't forget to um tag Us in Mastadon when you do it yeah if you figure out how to do that what server are we on Luke he doesn't know mat he doesn't know how would I know this I'm going to sign up as as on other servers

it's well how much $44 billion us something ridiculous it's a little bit of money I think if you've got that much money to spend it doesn't matter you know what I mean he didn't though he borrowed it [ __ ] man that's what that's the anyway we don't have to get into it that's part of the problem they're in is they've got to pay that back now and because he borrowed it but then he bought Twitter and now it's Twitter's problem yeah like speaking ofy and well I was going to ask Matt you've you've got some updates on your Tesla truck I do I forgot I sent yeah I sent you guys a picture the other day I have officially canceled my cyber truck pre-order and I got a refund I did I'm surprised again cuz I assumed that the the $300 was assuming you'll never get

it and that's how they were going to make their money and yet they've refunded you you're deposit which I think is um came back on my credit card pretty quickly too actually and I'm I'm I know for a fact I'm not the only one in fact I know people who are selling their Teslas as a result of all this they're just like I don't want anything to do with them yeah correct plus Tesla might go under soon and you might have no support going on that's fair because you can't get a Tesla repaired anywhere except Tesla correct not to mention patches and updates for the computer that you're driving around yeah good point I know and so many more videos of Tesla's doing crazy [ __ ] being spread around and I know it's only because people are trying to raise [ __ ] up and

you know yeah more people cause accidents than this AI nonsense causes accidents but still it doesn't yeah but we've done we've not actually done real world testing of that we've done controlled simulations of that we don't seen videos on Twitter of real world testing D and they don't look good yeah that's what I mean yeah um Matt now that you've kind of gotten the Cyber truck out of your head and out of your heart and out of your wallet um you can start fantasizing about what other e Vehicles you might want to purchase down thean there are so many more options I know the um the the nvision 74 that could be yours now that you're not waste all your money on the Cyber truck even the so cyber truck got announced and everyone was like the [ __ ]

uh Ford announced the the what do they call it they brought back like the bolt or something like that anyway the Ford electric truck looks great y so there there going to be a ton of options by the time it's I'm even I I was I pulled up behind a um poar the other day at a traffic light and that thing is beautiful that thing is what we thought space ships would look like when we were kids in the'80s you know it's got the LED lights that go all the way around it's it's beautiful maybe there'll be an electric Ferrari soon that we can also not afford well there's a Ferrari SUV now which they saw they would never ever release yeah so Tesla were first but then they they were slow yeah and now everyone's caught up mind you there's [ __ ] Teslas everywhere now they're almost

common to the point of like your spot one you're like oh is it's a little C oh no it's a Tesla but there's a lot yeah I have noticed there's in there's a lot of them now but I think if you go back and look at when they actually were purchased a lot of them were probably just only just arrived when they brought them 3 years ago or something and I know that so I have a friend who bought one and has had to kind of try and get over some quality issues with his because it's like it's just not worth the hassle of trying to raise you know panels that don't quite fit together in a way that you know you'd really want them to if you wanted it to be perfect all right and if you if you were to get them to repair it how long will you then be without a car I thought

the whole point and maybe we passed this now but was that if you had a problem with your Tesla Tesla would know because of you know networking and that they would yeah they your house home no they do they do right so if if you get a flat tire they'll send a car out to swap and give you a spare tire and all cuz I don't think they have a spare tire on the in the car I could be wrong about that but but these are like you know yeah exactly like you imagine you bought a laptop and then the bottom and the top didn't quite fit together properly and there was like a like an edge that you could catch your finger on that shouldn't really be there these kind of things just stuff to annoy you single time used it yeah driving down the street no one's going to notice it but

when you're sitting in the in the driveway and you look out the window all staring Gap that little Gap in between two panels you know what I found out there was in in New Zealand um and I forget the name of this business but if you if you have gone out to a pub if you've driven to a pub and they've gotten too drunk to drive home and you're like [ __ ] I'm too drunk to drive home you can ring this company right and they send out two dudes on a motorbike right and then they arrive one of them gives you his helmet and you get on the back of the bike and he drives your car home while the other guy follows on the motorbike Nathan Fielder tried to do that on an episode of for you yeah in in Los Angeles and it's it's he did it as a joke cuz it's hilarious because he hired bikes to do

so they pull up these like big dudes in beards and they're like oh you got you know hop on the back of my mate will drive your car back and every just in traffic like yeah it's hilarious that is sort of a business in cber though not the bikes though but there are people who will go out and I will you give them a call they will rock up they drive you they drive your car home and then the person falls behind Picks Them Up and that's yeah in the Philippines that's how you get a taxi is that you there's a Facebook for the taxi and you just post on the wall this is the address I'm at and then it's privatized so it's just whatever particular privately owned taxis are following that and they'll they'll just go out two might come out to get you and

I think it works well in small areas it wouldn't work in say Sydney nothing works in Sydney mate I'd imagine there would be legal concerns that they just don't worry about in the Philippines no I'm not not TR offensive no no you're absolutely right they're very very concerned about things you would think why would you why would you be concerned about that like it's illegal it's illegal for a pharmacy to sell birth control right right for example but you know where you can get it you can get it from the church under the table the taxi to drop it off for you when you post on their Facebook there's whole cities where you're not allowed to smoke cigarettes in yeah wow mhm but they're so

blurs in together and you don't even get crushed by people anymore well you just do it on the internet no one's going to come around of my house and switch store have a cyber week sale cuz [ __ ] me I've got to stop buying games on swi pretty good sales that's the problem every couple of days I just log in to see if anything on my wish list is on sale and if it is I buy it like they have got such a magnificent business model I got a press release the other day about a game that caught my eye and then I I checked out some reviews I'm still not quite sure about it but it's called star sand okay and it's a I generally like things with the word star in them so it's a survival game set on a ripoff of

D my God yes all right I'll see you guys in two years oh my God this this first I looked up some reviews and people were a bit wish this is Conan Exiles on arus correct yeah don't I I'm going to play Dune after this it came out on PC game pass this week tce Wars yeah yeah it's a good game I've been playing a game actually on PC it's been a while oh what have you been playing I've been playing valheim oh yeah which what is valheim it's it's I mean it's quite like what we're talking about it's a survival game massively styl Iz yeah it's like a voxal based engine so it looks a little interesting uh I don't really know how to describe it you'd have to see screenshot they're more like

I've it's it's that kind of polygon look yeah a Borderlands No not even everything's a bit more like swirly I don't know how to describe it I'm not good at good at that oh look at pictures it has a particular look but it's it's kind of set in in an afterlife of sort right it's like you've got a something there is some Viking law at the start I don't know if it's actual law it probably is but it's something about valheim is a place where you got to prove yourself to get into umala yeah not everybody has to but you do I forget I fig what the terms nalie Portman's there I'm getting in yeah she's there she's there she's very busy she's very busy she's explained to you

it yeah so star looks very cool but like I said the reviews I'm not going to read a single review I'm just going to go in because if you read the reviews on Conan exiles they are [ __ ] terrible and I play that game for 3 400 hours so I've been thorough yesterday valheim and then I tried uh I've played a couple of hours of something else just the other night that only came out the other day uh and I sent you guys the trailer for it and it's pent on oh yes the now I've seen this flag a little while ago when it was still in development and I thought it looked very good and I think I only saw it because the the devs of this game were inspired by a lot of other games that I enjoy and so I greatest Studio ever obsidian yeah I didn't know it was obsidian until I literally launched the

game and started like the the credits came up and I was like oh [ __ ] Obsidian made this well there you go because it just doesn't look like anything else like it looks it kind of looks like um there's a studio Rusty Lake that make iPad games I love Rusty it looks it just looks a little bit like the art kind of paper cutout style yeah but this is but the the reason this looks like it does is because the whole thing that is set up like it's an ancient um you know kind of uh parchment or something painted by monks you know what they call that like the Benedictine manuscript or something and to the point where like it's actually quite impressive like you can be in the middle of a conversation and certain words will be underlined for

context it's very reading heavy you will [ __ ] hate it I I I played the first 30 seconds of it I went this game is not you got but it'll underline key words and then you can hit select I think and then this the view of the game you're playing will like shrink down as if it's like a panel in one of those ancient documents and then all these little Angelic fingers point in at the words and then there's like a glossery that pops up so anytime you can say oh you know like what is you know Venice and it's like it's got like a little explanation of what Venice is it's [ __ ] great like it's if you're into reading uhhuh I am I am I would say I am into reading but there are a lot of words be warned and and so far like this the story is is is cool so yeah no cuz I

was when I saw it it do look great but yeah just I I can't play it it's very unique and uh I did see uh I think you said Dan that the they were inspired a little bit by disco alium yeah I you I think that's where I first uh I first heard about it I see that um but it it is different in yeah in way in important ways so but I mean it's on Game Pass and you have Game Pass so why not reason is okay yeah so might might as well try it out obsidian owned by Microsoft I believe I think they are now that's why they' got like the outer worlds I think it's easier to list companies that aren't at this point it's still going to be interesting to see if they end up owning Activision m

and blizzard I think they will I started playing something this week on the switch uh that sounds sort of similar in that it's medieval and very very detailed um it's called Blasphemous and yeah it is very very cool it's like a Metroid kind of it's a sid scroller cinematic Sid scroller but it's got a lot of exposition you you spend much more time I didn't know that yeah my eye because it looked like metrov Vania and the art style is very grotesque correct yes it's incredibly grotesque um and it is you it's definitely a Metroid Vania um and there's great combat when there is combat but there's also you know exploration and Exposition and I I do

recommend it it's it's kind of like in some ways it feels almost authentically medieval but in a in a bizarre Twisted fairy tale way as well like things are just not quite right but it's it's very fun I'm not far enough into it to be able to give it a full review yet but um enjoying it very much I think I have that on the switch actually and I just that reminded me I played something else on the switch briefly for like a couple of hours uh game deck game Des game deck it's called G DEC it's um I it seems to be quite inspired by disco alium although I guess maybe it came out first but it's kind of like an isometric game where you walk around and you interact with stuff so

far there's no combat or anything oh this excellent you uh in the broke it's a cyber Punk future where you are a video game detective where you investigate crimes that take place inside no the the virtual worlds in the future people get in these chairs and go into the worlds but there are crimes that happen oh that's amazing and so you investigate these crimes that sounds fun yeah that sounds fun a lot of reading it looks good though this one uh looks very polished mhm yeah yeah it's cool so far I play a couple hour hours of it and then that came out and then I was playing valheim and then pens I don't know what's been how does valheim run on your PC Matt runs okay I don't have a PC

I play it on GeForce now oh on your Mac through GeForce yes runs on it runs on their server cuz it's um it runs like absolute [ __ ] on my PC my PC is just not not powerful enough to run it and and I was really disappointed because I was loving it but it was so laggy so I have the GeForce now plan that gives me a RTX 380 Luke probably knows what that means that's what I have they were very very hard to get yeah well my my games run on their servers on an RTX 380 and they just stream the video to me and I um yeah I played that way and it's great I mean it's more expensive to get that plan but it just me I like well I don't have to buy another computer mhm yeah ever again in theory so well valheim is

also on Xbox now so maybe I'll just check it out on that if I want to play it again rather than go back to my wait what yeah according to this according to google platforms Xbox Linux and Microsoft Windows maybe I don't need GeForce now either is um June spice Wars on Xbox or just pc pc okay I do still need it then hold on let's see if it's planned to have a port I don't dun onto console I don't think so because then they have to completely redesign to be honest but then you never know they have those they they're smarter than me but it is yeah they do have to spend a lot of time and money redesigning the UI for controller are you enjoying your spice Wars Luke I have only just installed it I've not played it

yet I'm Keen to hear your review you're not going to sit there and play it with your back to the door as someone who hates Dune well I I assume that's all it is you just sit in the room that's the the tutorial up on you yeah try get in trouble for sitting with your back to the door and then you explain why it was safe because I knew he was coming and explain how I whose footsteps they are and you say or always it's [ __ ] always gie yeah it's always him and that's it game over I'm thinking it's going to be very easy achievements oh who's gie in the 80s version is that um Patrick Stewart or is I think so yeah it's Patrick Stewart right just a quick segue Patrick Stewart only reminded me of this because him and

[ __ ] pirate DVS and Blu-rays right is thousands of them it's a giant booth and I I'm just every time I go I'm like they're still they're still doing this like I I just just so weird especially cuz you just out in the open what kind of stuff like new stuff that's not out yet like you in Thailand or I'm pretty sure they had Black Adam on DVD last time I was there see I could I could understand if they stick to like it's a lot of old stuff that's hard to find I could sort of understand that if they were doing new stuff I could see why I'd be shocked why they're not shut down but if they're doing stuff that from the '90s that you can't justy strikes me as it wouldn't that be a liability for the organizers for the con wouldn't you say like don't bring this [ __ ] thought so

but Booth with people s and heroin is there the con didn't check the con just they're selling DVDs and we assumed that they had the rights to and also and not this is I know this is not the same thing but this is the same convention that made that guy put the the Nazi memory yeah the not not even Nazi memory was an Hitler action figure that he had on sale and they made him that counts as n memorabilia well sort of it was it's a joke product but they would he got in trouble for it it's like I mean and I know it's not the same thing but it just seems so odd that they'll tell him not to do that but they'll let these people do something that is literally illegal that's so funny next year I want you to go and have a close look and see what they have for sale yeah I agree we need

click save the movie poster of [ __ ] IMDb at low res and then print it out on a giant sheet of paper that's are they printing on paper or are they at least doing like decent paper like shiny or is it just like A3 why waste the money on that when garbage speaking of the Nazis very quickly um I work in a design Department clicker and uh the we have a new a new uh head of studio and um he said to me the other day I can't remember how we got onto it but he was like you know who had really great graphic design the Nazis and I was like yeah no they did they they also had great tailor great photographers great great yeah propaganda across the board and he's like I'm glad you agree because I said that once at my last work and um

I was asked never to talk about that again was like yeah no I think you're allowed to that I mean yeah look they uniforms yeah hug go boss yeah I mean [ __ ] useless in the cold thank God yeah that that was quite helpful but they good been improved in Stalingrad yeah so thumbs up on that but but I mean thanks you go they look they amazing as they froze to death that's right yeah in the wintry wastelands of Russia that's like we talked about that Japanese band that accidentally dressed up as SS officers cuz they were like we just thought they did look cool like yeah they did they did look cool but like that doesn't but they wouldn't know that's like if we dressed up like Samurai they said they didn't know yeah if we just went Samurai are cool and

think it's more intelligent than it actually is I think yes which is why raises the level purely by also he makes jokes in his voice which makes it seem like I should find it funny and so I laugh and then go did I actually find that funny or is this dumb cuz there's also the laugh track under it so you're also just laughing they told me to laugh so he plays Shakespeare Matt he plays Shakespeare and it's it's ironic comedy so if you know about the plays it's stuff happening in his life that you know will eventually go into a play oh okay like George Lucas in love correct exactly like that exactly like that um but possibly not as good as George Lucas in love stolen from George Lucas in love yeah that's right but a sitcom a British

sitcom yeah um his other show with um M Mitchell Webb on is on britbox it's called the ambassadors I think and I've added it to my list I've been watching Pirro of course quite a lot and then that popped up in the um in the other stuff sorry you mean you mean British Columbo yeah yeah I think I canceled Brit box clist I'm not going I can't cancel it now I'm I'm into season two of pyro I got to finish it I've got to cancel some of mine though I I don't want binge I'm going to cancel binge I don't need that I couldn't have binge you know what I keep forgetting I've got and I only just remember that was Apple oh yeah that's the one I I don't currently have app I remember is saw something pop up for Mythic Quest corre yeah I was going to

say I want Mythic Quest and I also want to watch season 2 of mosquito Coast when it comes out so maybe I'll get apple back I haven't seen that I've seen the first three episodes of Mythic Quest season 3 now and it's good okay uh I was worried that it wasn't going to be good because it didn't really end well in season two no season two is we're talk actually Jen and I were talking about this the other day so Mythic Quest has a bit of a weird thing that we were discussing where it feels like each episode doesn't really have a wrap up or anything like that you know like it's like it's always sunny or or another sitcom like that there's a beginning and an end and you can kind of watch them independent right you could watch an episode of It's Always Sunny you don't

really need to have seen any others Mythic quests is not like that but it also doesn't so far have much of an overarching Story season 3 and season two didn't either season one did yes it did season one was very season two didn't and it doesn't seem like season 3 did either so it's still funny and I still like it it's just that there's this weird think it's and even I remember saying this sort of same thing in season two it's sort of because season two I was thinking well there was the pandemic and you know they did the pandemic episode which was very good fantastic that was and I think season 2 had the best episode for me which was the writers backstory that was excellent that was so goodas two felt like the characters weren't doing much and it was almost

like and like I said I don't know if this is true or not but I wonder if it's because it was still kind of Co times they could only get certain groups of people together so you just have also very segmented story lines yeah and so it's season 3 is not like that so like everybody well it seems like everybody's interacting more and it's more feels more like season one but like I said there's just so far there's no overarching thing it doesn't feel like it's going anywhere right which I mean it's only three three episodes in maybe it is and Arrested Development made that same mistake remember that one season 4 where it um split up all the characters and then cuz that's cuz they were too famous yeah right they couldn't get everybody together but that's not really

the case Mythic Quest I don't think no cuz a lot of the the actors and actresses in that this is there first big thing with the exception of Rob Maan I mean Ashley B is pretty well known but not in physical form voice actor I'm going to throw out there David Hornsby I think he is a brilliant he is [ __ ] hilarious because if you look at all the different roles that he does they are different characters each time it's just the Descent of cricket into [ __ ] dead [ __ ] is it's not like Rob Rob you can see his character between everything he does yeah and you see it in a lot of people but his his characters between Mythic Quest Always Sunny are good girls they are completely different characters each time and he does it so well yeah yeah people that is

an actor yeah that is an actor and also he's like if you watched the the behind the scenes for like sunny and I think I think it was a Mythic quest one as well his impro like you know he kind of riffs on lines and stuff like that he is so funny I feel like that Mythic Quest particular is probably funnier just for having him in it yeah yeah and he's a great straight man in Mythic Quest like I mean he he's the but of the joke as Cricket in always Sonic but he's the reverse and not many actors can do both no there a particularly good Straight Man David Hornsby bit in uh actually I think it's episode two of uh Mythic Quest oh I do have some sad news about Mythic Quest season 3 is somebody's not in it and

they make it very clear he is not in it oh you know this yes I've SE I've seen it oh go on there be no no award winning chickens in season 3 of Mythic Quest but we knew he wasn't coming back I know I was [ __ ] baffled he in right he hasn't yeah yeah away he's just but then also I could sort of understand why they were bringing him back cuz his character done his story was sort of done more I think they were surprised they got him and they didn't give him a whole lot to do but what he did do was [ __ ] amazing but then it was like all right you're done yeah they must be like oh by the way F Mar Abraham said yes they' be like what what yeah he'll be in our shitty comedy yeah the guy that was in armadas and won the Academy Award but I think the way that he's not

in it is great so just okay well they his story is complete and the way that they went back and showed him his past and him at the fair with the rotisserie chickens getting the job it almost be cheap to have him to just pretty he would just be in the background with nothing to do now cuz he'd have he no more story arc to have but unfortun I feel I still think I feel that's like a lot of the characters at the moment they're just there I I thought that was [ __ ] Poppy and um what what's Rob's character I forget his name iron in the second season they explored their relationship in the first season to the point where there was nothing for them to interact in the second season well it's it's in in this one it's you know they've got their own company now yeah

so it's like but they're still I won't spoil anything but they they are still spending time at yeah you know at Quest and all that so cuzz I was like why is it still called Mythic Quest oh yeah of course yeah yeah but then it's still very heavily set around was there going to be a season 4 was that already agreed to think I think they've been signed for four and five I just I I he's on a winning streak with that in the football show but best more I mean it's still funny I'm still laughing out loud at it like get it yeah but I think it's just I think it's just going to start flogging a dead horse at some point but yeah like he's doing like his soccer thing with Ryan Reynolds yeah which that which I still cannot get over they didn't know

each other before they that was their sort of introduction was ha want to buy a football team with you that's amazing mhm hey I happily hang out with either of them so I can see why yeah y yeah I can see why they might have thought that was a good idea the before before we go off Back stories um I didn't realize this was happening until I saw it in the spreadsheet and then I went did a bit of research myself but there's going to be an Indiana Jones prequel series I am all in I'm [ __ ] all in they it already exists and it's great and is fantastic I will happily watch rease that but you can see the description that I put in there and honestly just I guess this is just because we've talked about this to death but my honestly my first thought

that made me laugh out loud really that's what you're going to [ __ ] Focus they will they will rcon that yes exactly that's what they're going to do so for listeners they're I was a child metaphorically speaking right literally I was of age they're potentially doing a prequel to Indiana Jones that is about Abner Ravenwood and will feature um Karen Allen's character Marian Mar Ravenwood who in razor the Lost Arc complains to Indie that when they hooked up she was a child and we know from because of the internet and from an archived series of conversations with the producers George Lucas Steven Spielberg and um and Lawrence cdan laen casan she was a child they literally meant yeah when you watch it now you just think she meant I was young and

naive yeah she was 18 or 19 kind of thing like no George Lucas literally says what if she was underage when they what if she's actually literally a child right and so we know that and so when I saw this I was like you can't make a TV show about that please don't because in the start of Raiders of the Lost Arc you realize they don't want Indiana Jones they want Abner Ren would that was the expert they sort out but he's gone missing right so that's why they end up with Indie and they say to him they don't even want him to go they say we want you to find abna Ravenwood and he says we had a falling out he's not going to talk to me and and that's the reason is because he [ __ ] his underage daughter yeah in the in the unwritten backstory of this universe yes it's not

and and you say Unwritten it's not really Unwritten it's there just and and then and you you go oh it's probably not what they meant but then that they meant yeah they just didn't lean into it yeah I thought in fact they leaned out of it didn't Harris say no one's going to play Indiana Jones yeah but he's he says a lot of stuff he's just goofing I think these days but I think from what I've read abna a young abna would the the hero of this so his his daughter probably is a little girl you know like Obi wobi and Princess Leia style and occasionally there might be an episode where they meet a young a young guy and it'll be you know slightly older but not creepy older

an arated Obi-Wan Series where Obi-Wan rescues Princess Leia and then you know I want to watch takes his reward I want to watch Young I Jones do I have it it's great but you know they they retconned that already because they um they made some choices early on in the first season that they then when they re-released it uh they they backed out of a couple of story directions that they went in so when you get it now you get the DVD release which is different to the original broadcast release yeah cuz originally there was an old man with an eye patch occasionally playing Indie narrating he gone now he's not in it now oh yeah huh you mentioned before I just wanted to come back to this that I I think you're right they will make it so that

she's not a child they'll make it so that that's okay yeah or that Indie is also a child yeah yes something like that will happen where it's they will make it perfectly clear that no pedophilia Happ they're going to wallpaper over that little bump in the in in the story no they'll clarify Matt they will clar what was always intended which was that it was a perfectly legal relationship the falling out had nothing to do with it yeah exactly um and the other news this week which just made me laugh was that um there was a rumor going around that um people had seen the new Indiana Jones movie there had been screenings and audiences were Furious because at the end of the movie they replace Indiana Jones with a woman which that

phrasing what it's [ __ ] hilarious to me but and standing where Dr Jones was standing was a woman it's like Doctor Who he just [ __ ] changes into a woman but so yeah but the the director came out and said no there's nothing like that in fact the movie hasn't screened anybody so that's nonsense but they just made me laugh cuz like what does that even mean I guess what it means is that Phoebe wallbridge at some point swings in on a rope implying that she is also cool like Indiana Jones yeah but like yeah Indiana Jones is Not Batman OR7 where it's like anybody can be in he's a symbol yeah yeah I'm not the

archaeologist you deserve but I only you have right now strike fear Into the Heart of Nazis the Russians it's conf concern when the internet can lose their [ __ ] over an an an anonymous person saying replacing the AG with a woman it's so nonsensical like what do you mean replaced him with a woman like what does that even mean well that's like remember when um when they found out that uh I can't remember that [ __ ] name not Specta what the [ __ ] most recent no time to die in no time to die that that James Bond was demoted and another agent was given the7 designation right and it was a black woman and everyone lost their [ __ ] minds and were like James Bond is being played by a black woman no

think or or last month October or November this year um James Bond is missing and they send out a female agent to track him down and she is essentially the protagonist of the book now she doesn't go by the name James Bond and she and she doesn't introduce herself as yeah I'm James Bond but a woman but the protagonist of a James Bond book is a female character now sure looking for James Bond so there's a gender flip sort of thematically if you want to look at it like that and if you think what would a female spy living in this world be then this is a great book to read um but I stress James Bond has not been made into a woman it's like with the thy people were like it's Thor Odin's son how does that make sense well it doesn't

that and actually I think if if this hadn't been blown out so much in the media he probably wouldn't have anything against those people and wouldn't be suing them but he has to sue them now to save face you know like he has to have a judge say yes he was cleared of all wrongdoing so that the public accept him and he can continue working because the funny thing is I love Alec Baldwin but since this shooting since he quote unquote murdered that lady like a stink on him yeah he does and I find it difficult to look at him it's the same as I know because that interview he did was so misguided like he just should have kept his dumb mouth interviewed that really I think Ru when he yeah said I didn't pull the trigger I wasn't even there mate yeah what's a gun I've never

seen one before yeah exactly don't that's definitely how I react when I'm caught in the headlights I'm like who yeah all they do is just say it was an accident and like just don't say details yeah don't give a [ __ ] I hope they fired his PR team after that cuz that was the worst I guar for to set up cuz remember after that he went to Woody Allen's house to ask him for advice and like when you're asking Woody Allen for advice and how to how to get the public to like you a little bit more then you are you were scraping the literal was like wait you think the public likes me I don't know Woody Allen was like through quite some time some he does all right considering well yeah maybe not now I I think I think the bubble has

an like if you on a boat and your job is to pull one cable and you see another cable needs pulling you're not allowed to touch that cable cuz there's a guy whose job it is to do that yeah and look I know a lot of people have said that he if you're going to be holding a gun you should know how to shoot a gun you should know you should be responsible he know how to shoot it I mean that's just not he proved that what he doesn't know how to do is not sh was like I don't know I don't know how I know what a gun is I pointed it at her and then all of a sudden she was dead I don't know um but like he doesn't know what happened and people are saying he should have known but it's like that's just not how it was right that's not how the film industry was yes as an actor he's not

responsible for that if you want to change that it's fine but like he's just there's people who job to make sure this doesn't happen I would also argue that the the first ad who gave him the gun who's also being sued at this point also shouldn't really be liable because they're taking the word of the armorer so the armor says hand this Alec Baldwin and tell him it's cold he goes B got to follow the bouncing ball like correct this person told me so I yeah yeah and if Gutierrez the the armor is saying well I was assured that the [ __ ] bullets I put in were blanks then yes she has the right to then sue the the bullet provider whoever the I think that's I don't think the basketball can go back further to that because they were blocking so me were blocking so

they weren't shooting so there should have been no reason for blanks to have even been loaded I read this article but I read another article that Al Baldwin specifically called out the that uh gutierre the armorer was misbehaving on set with live rounds yes and he and he he was not aware of that at the time and that is his the basis of all this none of that going on that was the story yeah that they were going out and they were just using the gun to go shooting offet and things I mean look allegedly that was happening and he's he's now that's he's saying that [ __ ] shouldn't have happened and that's why this happened that's negligence not a mistake and that's why he's suing them so fair enough I guess but yeah I just yeah interesting

if it's negligence of that level you think there'd be criminal side to it that's why I don't understand the whole suing someone is dead yes yeah but I guess I know it's almost like he has to do this because right now people think he just [ __ ] murdered this woman which I think is ridiculous but clearly a lot of people don't think that's ridiculous for some reason yeah God love the internet yeah he obviously didn't mean to kill her that doesn't make any sense no right and he saying he didn't know that there were live bullets even on set okay yeah well then should I I honestly believe everything he's saying as an actor the only thing I don't believe him is that he said he didn't pull the trigger which I think maybe he just didn't realized that he did he was
