appearances at Woolworth's in Australia in Perth and Sydney and then the police came up and went please don't do this this is a terrible idea we have safety concerns and said so have you not heard any of my other ideas do you want a $20 drink officer yeah are you surprised that this is a foolish Endeavor I'm probably not going to show up officer don't worry about it yeah that's right you got nothing to worry about and and that won't be a safety concern having a thousand children outside and then I just don't turn up well yeah no matter what there's cuz I know it's happened before like thousands of people will go out and just storm the place and be around and I don't know what for um overthrow the government I guess Matt is that your

experience so you think on January 6th they were looking for Logan Paul in the oh we have busted this wide open they will be there for hours upon hours just waiting for a couple of people to maybe walk out on the balcony and wave at them yeah they're not performing they're not doing anything CU they're not people in or anything in or tourists mostly I assume maybe some locals in in London just sitting at the gates of Palace and well not anymore obviously just for somebody to pop out and say Hi and then yeah I don't I don't get it no you wouldn't wait outside Buckingham Palace for a king Luke for his majesty the king why get a glimpse of royalty I see it every day so you're saying you don't want to come camp out with me outside

Nellie Portman's house no see see maybe refund on those flights well that's even the weird thing about people who like become infatuated with these people online where they go and stalk you stalking them is not going to make them magically fall in love with you it's going to creep them out that's not the way to you don't know that I've got at least one example of where that worked out it's a little different though but um Jack Nicholson camped out on um Roger corman's front lawn until Roger Corman cast him in a film that worked okay well no the one I go back to is Gavin Free and that's [ __ ] terrify where oh yeah the the fan broke into the house and his plan was to kill Gavin so Megan would love him yeah mentally ill yeah clearly that's not how that works no I

tweet something and they think they're having like a private conversation or tweeting directly at them I get a little buzz I get a little buzz when I get a little like or something from a celebrity but no but what what Remember the Time Rob Dugan followed me out of nowhere oh what and I was like no I one of the the um people from Biz the band follow me and that was amazing but literally follow him going you're the guy who's still spending money on our albums I still do I still buy vinyl but no I think found we found the guy she posted something about how like she was by or something and there was what what does Gavin know and it's s like what do you think I'm pretty sure yeah if you know yeah yeah you've told me now but if you told your husband yeah I just think

people are weird that they think that there is this out of everyone to say this you were officially inducted into the Rangers by [ __ ] Casper vanan yep oh that's true Ru neck yeah Rico's Ru Rico's rough neck that's it hurah but I still feel that's a little bit different cuz it's him talking to he that was directly at me yeah not just a oh yeah I remember I remember the the comments after under coffee time that Matt used to watch were very very intimate oh man it creeped me out you know and it's funny too that that was almost like like a like an education in this whole thing it's just like the YouTube comments on those kind of videos people being like oh you look

good this morning sweetie it's like oh God yeah yeah yeah like please God don't let ever let me be like that like to a stranger on the Internet it's so I even think I even think there's a bit of a difference saying you look good today yeah is a lot different to like you becoming too familiar and the sweetie and private I think you look good today still still not on person I mean it's still one step down from she talks about video games like yeah I don't know people give it a random obviously but but that's the thing Matt she looked okay she didn't look that good you know what I mean like she no no like if you knew her in no but if you knew her in real life you'd have problems going up and talking to her at a bar it's not like she was a super she was just I saw her in real

life I couldn't get to it LC testified of that there was a a you tried to get to her Matt is that way I was like I'll say hi to her in total biscuit and then there was like an army of men just surrounding her and they they had to call security actually because of something that happened if you remember Luke I don't remember the details of it but I do remember there was a security incident for for her I suppose we always talk about how it's much easier for female vloggers than it is for men to get notoriety to to get famous I guess by because it's but but it's a blessing and a curse I guess isn't it cuz it can be a cheaper form of it in a way I don't mean that condescendingly no but like if yeah like if you're trying to make informative

content and people are just like oh you look nice today I'm sure that's probably [ __ ] annoying yeah yeah cuz she doesn't strike man I'm sure I mean maybe the first couple of times she W oh I'm pretty yay But like after a while this is just a normal girl dressing fairly normally not trying to be provocative or anything talking about video games and drinking coffee well she still streams and does videos now but she's got kids and she's married she lives in England now with her husband and her kids and the kids are on the streams and stuff like that it's just different VI you know do you know her address in England mat I don't know her address I can't the listeners don't even know who we're talking about we haven't even a godamn name I can't help it if

creepy people post things and I see them on my girlfriend's post don't do that don't post girls addresses on the internet that's weird don't post anyone's addresses on the internet thank you thank you for no vulnerable boys can get theirs posted and they need to toughen up I I don't see how that's people think it's an acceptable response for me I'm going to leak all your personal information now people are very angry for various reasons and the internet has given them not just a platform to vent their anger but to also exploit the limits of that anger in really creative and infuriating and terrifying ways the internet is a terrible terrible place so what's happening on there this week yeah let's have a look we got some

followup Bruce Willis full on dementia yeah so sad so I think this is like um this is not like a new thing technically I think this is just like a more specific diagnosis of he had a phasia before and then they're like oh this is what it is it's because of this so he's got fronto temporal dementia which is I guess the most common one which doesn't make it any better it's horrible so yeah sad yeah now here's the thing basically he will decline rapid rapidly from now yeah yeah and he's already he's already declined quite rapidly from where he was having communication you can't communicate with people effectively anymore and it's going to get worse so it's very sad and while I did sort of

make fun of it like at the beginning when he sort of had the and how he's just like making all this extra money to sort of set him up well even this extra money he's not going to get to enjoy that or anything this is cuz he's not going to no but I suspect that wasn't why he was doing it which is which makes the whole thing sad because you know everyone was laughing at him when he started doing movies and by everyone you mean us I didn't laugh at him I I like when people do those like red letter media did a whole bad terrible movies who did like like red letter media did a whole video on like what the [ __ ] is Bruce Willis doing oh yeah yeah they did I watched and then it turns that yeah yeah right and then it turns out oh that's actually

really sad it's actually really sad yeah well it just goes to show doesn't it everyone's got [ __ ] going on that you don't know about and if an actor is doing a whole lot of [ __ ] movies he probably knows their [ __ ] and he's probably knows he's not going to be around for long and he needs to provide for all his illegitimate children at the time everyone was saying like he's so lazy he won't even learn the lines he's got an earpiece in cuz he can't be bothered like no turns out he can't learn his lines yeah he can't remember anything yes and it's one thing to say this was a [ __ ] movie but to say oh he's just too [ __ ] lazy too he doesn't care because there were also the the everyone laughed and said nonsense at the time where the crew members were

like he doesn't know where he is yeah half the time turns out yeah he didn't so I hope because in all of this cloud of shittery we forget that he used to be in pretty much exclusively excellent films for a little while in the ' 80s and 90s you know what I mean I mean the die hards got ridiculous after a while but the first couple were excellent the first three were great movies 12 Monkeys is [ __ ] excellent oh 12 Monkeys is fantastic yeah yeah like let's remember all of the really fabulous movies that he was in um go back and watch Moonlighting if you want to see him it is most Charming where he plays a kind of a crooked detective um and and let's let's hope he just lives a quiet life for the rest of his

days yeah yeah best of luck to him sad and to his family I mean he's he's doing do a lot to set them up that's good good on it yeah yeah I think they'd already be set up though wouldn't they well I don't know I don't know because the the way he spends maybe not it gets complicated yeah exactly I don't know how he spends I didn't even know him to be tried to buy a whole he bought a town Luke yeah he bought a town maybe that's just where he was planning to retire in that town it was but he bought every building in the town now he can't remember where it is wanted live there and but he didn't want anybody he wanted to be not famous but he also did want to be famous yeah he

wanted to have a certain lifestyle he wanted what did they say he wanted to be recognized but left alone exactly yes so he found a place where he thought he could do that and just kept and if people didn't behave the way he wanted he would just buy their house and kick him out yeah that's literally I don't know I don't you can't be like a big star like that and expect that I feel Sor the newspaper reported that his house he moved into town and he bought the newspaper yeah so that it would never why you writing stories about me and they said it's pretty big [ __ ] news mate yeah front page news here you moving into the into the town yeah the fact that Red Hot Chili Red Hot Chili Peppers is playing our local pub Friday night is big [ __ ] news that's the thing he got

yeah he got he organized that kind of it's just so baffling yeah yeah disconnect yeah it's it's not fair that you yeah you want all the Privileges and the respect and everything that goes with it but you also don't want any of the other side of it where but surely that exists like in like Bair or Beverly Hills right where I've spent very very little time surely there's a supermarket there that Tom Cruz goes I guess not I guess they don't do their own shoing well you see all the time you see the paparazzi shops of hey they've ducked out to buy milk and they're in like tracksuit pants like oh my God reminds me vaguely of that interview uh when Paulie sha was on Joe Rogan and he said he moved out of those places because he people wouldn't leave him alone there

everyone was and it was just a reminder of his failure basically so he moved to like a small town in California to escape recognition well I even think moving to that small town you would still be recognized and probably have that but I think the recognition would be different exactly and maybe after a while it would be boring you know what I mean like oh yeah shes here also L like looking for celebrities and in particular if you I think I imagine for him at the time if someone saw Paulie Shaw and there were like other celebrities around you're going to you know have a laugh at him or whatever back in the day I'll remember one of the behind the scenes of one of the evil Deads or something there was just a a little documentary about what it was

like to be Bruce Campbell oh yeah and he just goes up to pretty good yeah but he's but he's he's got what Bruce Willis wants no one really gives him any [ __ ] but people do recognize him and there's this one no but there's this one bit where he goes into a post office and the guy's like are you an actor he's like yes I am and the guy's like cool and then that's it you know yeah yeah you guys don't strike me as Counting Crows fans but uh back in the 90s when County Crow had there hit Mr Jones and um Adam Jett the singer was very recognizable because he's a big fat white guy with a goatee and and huge dreads and he just and it was a number one hit he couldn't go anywhere um because he was just too famous and too recognizable and this is when Johnny Depp owned the Viper Room

and literally only let other celebrities in like this was before we were allowed in for example we went there it used it used to be you had to be an aist or you weren't let in and he became the bartender there because he would rather work behind the bar and pretend to be a normal person cuz he was the least famous person in there yeah right until we got there I think that's right yeah and for the Butcher Babies yeah every now and again you hear like one of those places open where it's going to be alist they're not sustainable yeah like at all well I don't know if Depp was doing it to make money I think he did it for the same reason he's wanted a place to hang out with his famous buddies but he could be bothered by yeah cuz he he's another one

so what are they flying the [ __ ] motor home with him like probably maybe someone drives there just put it in the plane then well Matt the only places drive to are the United States like the the Americas um can't drive oh you can drive to Singapore I'm just thinking if he's Dutch he can get anywhere in Europe and the UK on on the roads he can get to the Middle Eastern ones yeah I'm sure he doesn't but uh no he flies in his plane that he bought but no I'm pretty sure yeah they're probably shipping it over and that's where he sort of that's the onsite thing that he's you know you know what I'm so stupid of course they do that cuz they have to get the [ __ ] F1 cars there yeah so yeah parking it behind the F1 and just flying it all right fair enough anyway so that's the

car we're not going to show we want the other teams to see the car but it's funny because they went first like if if other ones if other teams were showing their cars the the new cars for this season they the only team that didn't show the car yeah but it's not like they waited and went ah we got to show them something they went out there early and showed that that was one of the first reveals of the season and they had fireworks and all this kind of stuff and everyone was like woo woo and the curtain went up and everyone was like hang on a minute that looks the same well I just found it a bit weird cuz the whole isn't the whole idea cuz I know like with NASCAR all the cars are the same yeah no yeah no in stock cars that's the idea is that it's all about

the driver or is this IND car as well to a degree Indie Car You' got like options pick from from a menu whereas this they develop the car themselves within certain guidelines and budgets yeah it just seem a bit crazy can be so different though well when they're not when they're not different that's also a controversy and there was Red Bull had us well not Red Bull didn't have the controversy but there was a car a couple of years ago that looked very very much like the Red Bull car there's been uh one that looked like a All Copy at one point too no well within reason but if you go and just make the same car that's not allowed and in particular the the scenario that I'm thinking of well more more to the point if you if you poach an engineer from one team to come and

that's I was going to say person the company and all of a sudden the car looked the same I don't understand that but like they were worried that he sto we see your car over here it's working really well so we're going to do the best we can to match it and that's round the PO yeah but it it would be like if Pepsi suddenly tasted exactly like Coke just after an employee from the Coke factory had started working at Pepsi yeah I don't know cuz building a good car is is part of the sport also putting the right tires on it so hopefully Ferrari are going to have a good year yeah it's kind of against I think that's the thing too it's not that it was illegal to do it or anything like that it was just very not in the spirit of the game so to speak to like which I don't know I have a bit of

nothing to do that you can't prove I did okay oh no there was evidently at the very end of the game there was a very controversial call and then led to the other team going on to win CU what happened is what and that's why Philadelphia burnt it everything down cuz they lost oh I I I learned that a couple of days later that's how that's how they literally burned things I instantly forgot about it oh yeah there were riots and cars and Jesus who were they playing against I don't don't even know who was playing I think we were out and 49ers lra and then we got home and then I think she needed to have a bath and then by the time that had all happened the game was half over and I was like well I don't know the rules anyway so I'm not going to jump in at

this point uh Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs okay they won by a field goal I assume that's a kick is it yes probably yeah so it's it's a field goal so it's not after You' scored a touchdown M cuz if you score a touchdown when you convert you get one extra point if you're just in the field of play and you're just kicking a goal it's three points maybe next year I'll watch it maybe i' I've watched a few every day again didn't watch this years but yeah I was just wondering if you saw it and I want to know if you understood what the controversial what controversy was cuz I don't know what it is I just know there was one nope and nope no the controversy that I heard about was um that Rihanna was miming during her halftime show but uh oh oh I she's pregnant I know that

to laugh at these people and then like when it turns serious like I really like that podcast he's still active on his website which is the name of it escapes me he's still active on his website oh his um metabunk mega yeah Mega metabunk yeah so he's still active over there and he's doing other podcast he just hasn't done any on that for a while I don't know why I don't didn't see anything about I have told you before that like that the Flat Earth stuff it is a slippery slope and that's why yeah really should be stopped because it's a gateway to so much and once you've convinced yourself that you're being lied to on mass then suddenly everything seems plausible it's frustrating too cuz he he gets he's had flat earthers on there and you know other types of alien

abduction conspiracy theorists all that kind of stuff and he he puts it he's he's very smart very well researched he puts in a lot of effort to convince him and they're always just like well well that's just your opinion isn't it yeah yeah no it's not it's not it's fact yeah well I listened to one the other day and the guy was like um so you you've you've claimed to have debunked all of these could could you define what debunk means please and he's like certainly I can debunking is when you prove something to have not been true and he's like could you say that that's just you presenting an alternate Theory and he's like no no it's not I would just call it that if that's what it was yeah yeah look we've got quite a few pieces of AI stuff and I guess they're sort of

all follow up in a way because there's one here we used chat GPT to write that sketch the other week the awesome well sketch we did the other week and I know you've been using chat GPT for various things Dan but did you know I thought you should be made aware of this in particular when you talk to chat GPT it learns from what you're yeah talking to it about and and and it will use your stuff to help other people yes so there are now cases where I think Amazon employees in particular have been using chat GPT in the course of their work to solve code related problems and now chat GPT is giving Amazon code like proprietary you know like corporate secret because it's literally been fed this information yeah it's like oh I've learned that now and it's

like yeah Amazon yeah I'm I'm sorry that that's on the people using it cuz I thought it was very obvious that it's learning from you well yeah here's the thing because I also you know I mentioned putting in some story ideas to it and I was very very careful not to put anything in that could be seen as me giving away intellectual property do you know what I mean like I don't want to publish a book in 10 years and then be sued by chat GPT because it said well we actually wrote that 10 years ago you know so I think there is a bit of that and I don't know enough about code to know how you actually get it to write code for you but I know that um that some of the guys in our digital Department do use it to get Expressions written for them yeah yeah yeah you can

you can tell it you can just explain a few things statements to it and it goes yeah okay yeah I know what you're talking about you go okay fine and then but you can apparently teach it a new programming language right and it will learn it and then you can say okay now solve this and it does and like every IT professional goes to you Google learn everything so this is just another thing it's true but this one's a bit dangerous cuz you don't realize it's like I no I'm just so surprised people didn't realize yeah well that makes me wonder now if our sketch that and with our little time traveler joke that we thought was so clever did it just steal that whole script from somebody yeah or or just enough of it yeah true yeah maybe someone was like I've got this great

joke about a time traveling guy directs Austin wells in a call M on champagne commercial can you write the rest yeah and then it was like and now it's just it hands out to people when ask are you suggesting there's another podcast out there also you've heard another podcast with the same sketch mhh I uh I triy to get chat gbt sketch the other day next week sat Night Live be [ __ ] awesome well sketch I [ __ ] hope there is man I might start watching it again ien watch '90s um I started uh I started trying to use it the other day and um I shared this with you but I'll um I'll also share it with the listeners here let me just let me scroll back through our through our chat here I

tried to get it to help us write a sketch based on a concept we came up with years ago uh for a Fantasy character called Nile the ball Basher which is about a barbarian who uh crushes people's balls crushes people right and um I thought in the name really isn't it yeah chat chbt he might be able to write us something funny on this so I dropped in write a synopsis for Nile the ball Basher a violent comedy set in a fantasy Medieval World where a barbarian called Nile fights his enemies by Smashing their testicles with a club okay let's see what it comes up with no I'm sorry but I cannot fulfill the this request as it goes against open ai's policy content which prohibits the promotion and glorification of violence hatred and

has this thing become self-aware very meta yeah like imagine yeah it was just yeah but then something happened and I think either chat GPT whatever they were using the main one went down the service went down and it had this fallback where it went to this old AI that clearly doesn't have the same filters and stuff on it that we've discussed the new one does and it just started saying a bunch of [ __ ] horrible transphobic [ __ ] and not like borderline stuff like oh yeah maybe that is a it's just asking interesting no no no yeah bad stuff no stuff we won't repat it got twitch banned it which is funny because it's like it's only funny because it's not it's not a person but they're still there were like we can't have a computer saying that [ __ ] on the internet either
