Wrap It Up: The Game Awards 2023 & Killers of the Flower Moon

I was meant to come with a witty opener and I came with nothing um sorry I'm just super hyped that the game awards happened not for the awards as such oh there were there were some awards from what I hear I like that they sort of glossed over a lot of them you liked that they cross overlo tell you didn't like it everybody was watching it to see the game awards welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy but no one actually it's no one watches through the actual game

awards enough people were complaining about it that I was like what's going on so I I I had to look I put a bunch of articles in here we don't have to go through everything but yeah a lot of complaints this year controversial disagree with some of this so we can we can break this down but Luke just for the listeners who don't really understand what you're talking about what do you watch the game awards for I watch the game awards for trailers and announcements yeah so that's pretty much what I watch it for too so you agree with the first article on here that says the game awards should give up the facade of being game awards and just accept its role as winter E3 no no no I still think it is nice to actually have like an award and some of the big ones

but if you actually look at a lot of some of the winners it's B B skate three border skate three borderers Gate 3 like there's not a lot of mixing up of who wins got three or four as well you know yeah but yeah it's sort of like the same game win that's true the main complaint people I saw people say was they gave 10 minutes for um kajima and Jordan Peele to fate each other on stage yeah and then and then whenever someone won an award they would go up and they go I'd like to thank um you know my dead unle stage I don't care what anyone has to say that is the worst part of any awards show is letting people Jeff key agrees with you if they were to do the same thing with the Oscars and just have like

her trailers I'd probably watch the Oscars slapped yeah unless you're gonna slap somebody don't bother getting up here no I I hate all award shows especially the Oscars but I also hate the game awards I like the game awards because without it I wouldn't have heard of some games that I love like Disco when it won best game I was like I've never [ __ ] heard of this yeah and then went back and played it four times but I mean I knew Boulders gate was good before I watched these I was good before yeah that's what I mean so I didn't really get a lot out of this some of the new stuff looks interesting but there was some some of you want to go really go on which one did question I can't remember now because I was waiting for it but there was like

that forgettable there was one there was another aspect actually I didn't put this in here I forgot there's I watched a really good YouTube video the other day it came out just the other day which obviously was timed for this purpose but it was about how unlike the academy say for the Oscars you you can go and see who's who's in The Academy right and those are the people who are voting who's voting in the game awards I'll tell you you don't know you don't know because there isn't a way to know you can look on their website and see which Outlets are listed and some of them for example like Entertainment Weekly don't even write about video games so who's voting at Entertainment

Weekly and in some cases this guy pointed out a lot of game Outlets are actually owned by the same company so it's quite important to know who is it that's casting the vote like what person because with the Academy Awards it's like an individual you know it's like Han Zimmer is voting for his favorite he's voting for Dune obviously but um don't you also vote not in not in the Academy Award you give me too much credit not in the Academy Awards I don't um you can vote in the Lois anyone who buys the TV Week Magazine can vote in the Lois is that true there you go now I vote in some uh some lesser awards that you have not heard of um but yeah it's just it was interesting video about how we don't even know who it is and that's kind of a problem if this is going to

you know gear itself up as kind of the Academy Awards of gaming like it's kind of important to know like who the [ __ ] is voting and like on what basis and is there somebody is the owner of um I forget the the names of the companies but there like Game Informer and and some other outlet and they're owned by the same parent company and so is it just some guy from that company voting tce yeah and then it's like well how why we why do we even care what these people think but the thing is like it's always gonna games are difficult sure to V yeah like it's maybe you're just not very good at them Luke no no no but like some people like firstperson Shooters others don't and it's very hard to third eye opening up on Luke's for

sorry it's I'll sit back he hasn't got his lights on the light on too bright I'll turn it down no no no just his face is disintegrated thought I was going to see yourself no he's just it's just more wisdom he's dispensing tap into it yeah but like with a like a first some people been like first just other people like role playing games like it's sort of a hard thing to be objective when voting that matters less if you know like if I know who's voting I can go oh yeah okay like we but with this it's just very like you don't know who knows like but it's sort of easy like oh they voted B skate and Allen wake 2 MH Yeah Yeah well yeah yeah yeah balers gate too [ __ ] sweet it's Game of the Year MH Y game of the year players players voice which best

performance to the guy who plays aaran which [ __ ] makes sense because he's amazing but the thing is here's the one that I I found a bit weird that bers gate 31 on multiplayer that one I call [ __ ] on why BL Skate 3 is not a multiplayer game it's a co-op game what Co-op is multiplayer isn't iters yeah I question how many people are actually playing Co-op I I I think quite a lot actually I think we we wouldn't but do that [ __ ] but we say oh that sounds great we should do that and then not do it here's also the other thing at one when it hasn't even come out on Xbox yet so there's still a whole category of people who haven't that's how good it is that's how good it is

you can play it now it came out on Xbox yesterday right yes it's out now on Xbox well if I'm 30 years old and I'm single and I don't have a child maybe I'll play it the CEO um kind of forgot to announce it was releasing the CEO had he came out and like he had one job and he was to come out and sort of start promoting if Bott Skate 3 wins an award it'll release on Xbox like right away and he forgot to do that so Shadow dropped on the Xbox Larry and studios are so cool I got to the big guys who make that they make like divinity they just seem like a [ __ ] great company like the guy the the head of laran was there in a suit of armor the game awards they're just like I don't know it's just it's just like when you imagine the company that made

Boulders Gate 3 they are that company not like you know normally it's like oh it's guys and Suits like no no no they're not they're not like that at all which explains why it's such an anomaly I guess in the in the uh games at the moment actually alen W too seems like as well I saw jeno's been playing it and I was like [ __ ] that looks good it is amazing and I love it because it's still got the guy like won the world Sam Sam wake I think his name is I but he's been there since like oh Alan Allan Wake yeah he's been there since next pain like it's the same guys who have been there since the start why they've gone from Max pain didn't yeah remedy remedy great great company I love them and I'm happy they Alan W's done so well because it means

we'll get more games like that well and some some some DLC as well yes yeah I know when I bought it I think I bought the version that said you get all the stuff I should have but I didn't I thought look if I love it enough I I'll happily just pay you guys talked it up pretty highly so I was like I'm probably going to want to and I saw playing it I'm like I I I guess I try not to watch too much because I don't want to spoil anything but I was like oh this seems quite different in ways that I think I would like from the first one it's the same setting and the same mood solving murders and things seeming yeah yeah and he sort of swapped between the FBI agent and alen white what spoilers same I has any of it yet that's not a

spoiler everyone knows that you play the FBI asent and in a game called Allan Wake You' be playing as Allan Wake yeah yeah it's called Alan Wake too because you play as Alan Wake too too yeah as well yeah oh yeah and then the other thing uh they people said although I don't know how why I don't know what people want exactly with this but people were complaining that no mention of all the companywide layoffs you know or sorry industrywide layoffs why would they Awards though would you that's right yeah I was like I don't know about that one the people we're awarding and here the people who got sacked yeah how about how about all those layoffs you people here are probably responsible for that right all you heads of of

departments let us know who you laid off yeah that seems a weird one for people to be upset about this just provs people are just gonna get upset about [ __ ] anything you know yeah yeah I don't know I don't know what you expect people to say about it at an award show it's to be talking about the good stuff there were few there was an award for most most staff laid off that would be good oh I think maybe if they had like most SCA staff retained I think would be a better award yeah make an award for keeping them yeah or or one that's like least women sexually harassed oh yeah officers Activision's not qualifying not that no no might now maybe yeah things have changed I suppose but there's a few announcements

I got a bit of a shock over one was the new no man Sky hello games one yes which they made I was sort of excited and then I became less excited they made a whole planet that you can fly around on a dragon on yep yeah all right theoretically that sounds pretty good it's Minecraft okay well that looks a lot better and everything but it's going to be something that it's it's going to be something it'd be good if we played games together I think yeah in that parallel universe I bet we're having a lot of fun yes but not did look amazing like the whole procedure like just endless and you can go explore and yeah more of that stuff yeah and then already people on Twitter are like stop talking it up have

you not learned your [ __ ] lesson like yeah but I think he they can start talking each up a little bit more because they've learned a lot like remember no man's Sky came out 10 years ago yeah and it turned into a [ __ ] excellent game yeah like inarguably I think and actually cyber Punk uh won um best ongoing game or something which I that was another one I thought best have another go mate like that one I didn't think was I don't think they should have won that yes that was a weird award that's like where what can we give cyber Punk just make up no but it is interesting because cyber Punk have become more popular lately than they did at launch you know what I mean especially with Idris Elba who I thought

he was gonna win his little category but he didn't but uh his you know his DLC story and all of that well I I don't think it's gonna be a category for it this was it in the true Spirit of that award I think that that sort of like ongoing games be like a division like something cyber Punk they fixed the game yeah I see yeah yeah but yeah and then they announced a blade game I saw interesting um I don't know a whole lot about I know that it's sit in Paris and there are vampires uh which I mean all right that's fine yeah bed they're already new about it like people go but Microsoft haven't announc exclusive and stuff and it's s of like no Microsoft

they didn't say every single game that from the companies they brought was going to be exclusive yeah and I think this might be one of them where they know that with a game like this don't cut off half your Market yeah because I feel like and I don't mean that in the sense of like you know it's a big like Starfield which we should talk about Starfield um but um that was like a Shore Fire win this I think is less so so they want to make it as broad as possible like yeah who's going to play this like it sounds interesting but like like what is this game when you think of for Starfield but it well it won nothing at the game of WS won nothing I've stopped playing it same stopped playing it it was on Game Pass so I didn't even pay for they didn't even get my

money um there was a a someone on YouTube made a super cut of Todd Howard clapping with a smile every time Starfield didn't win every time Boulders gate beat it and he was like well they they want to assure you it's a good game you know and and if you don't like it they'll drive around your house and they'll explain to you face to face why you actually like it I can tell you exactly what's wrong with Starfield go there's nothing in it they F not they should not have focused on a thousand planets they should have focused on maybe a 100 planets and have focused on like 50 of them having something on them or something like really but I also feel like we've discussed this you know getting from one planet to another feels too disconnected

but I also feel getting around the cities the individual feels disconnected like you're going from one place to another in a city with nothing in between but just pretty but even when you're on the planet and you sort of you'll see something in the distance you'll get there you scan it and then there'll be something else and it takes you a few minutes to get there it's not like Skyrim a Fallout where you're walking along and you stumble across something yeah the characters are good the story is good but it just isn't enjoyable to play which is important in uh it's quite important game yeah yeah I could see also what they're trying to do because when you finish the game spoiler but I don't think he's going to finish it I'm not gonna I've seen I've seen clips of

what happens just because I was curious you sort of you become no no no well no you actually skip that part but you start the game again yeah and you're in a different universe and that universe may have something quirky in it but you then play through it again and then you start again and it's got no shrimp that's a reference the replayability comes from just playing the game again but not I don't know there's probably some other stuff that happens in it but I haven't gone back I'm not going to play it don't worry but you basically when you restart you basically just walk in straight into think hey I'm here I'm taking over of constellation and way you go yeah starborn starborn that's not a joke

Dan you become starborn oh like okay Dragon Born yeah starborn yeah yeah really they call it I thought I thought it was a joke when I first saw that it's not a joke I thought you were doing a bit that's I thought I thought the YouTuber was doing a bit when I saw it star unless they were Luke confirm that you are you become a starborn yeah you forse RAR forse RAR surely that's the name of this but also the thing like you get abilities in in it like when you become starbor I'd never used any of them I didn't quite understand them and you don't need play the game I saw this guy made a really good point actually just about the Starfield so I'm G have to go on about this um but the guy who designed it made

a whole point of saying that they don't use design docs there anymore and he said it's quite apparent in Starfield because you have things like you have the space combat right where in theory it's like zero gravity because you're in space and then you have some very very few sequences where you do zero gravity combat in the game like you go to that casino and and it's zero g and you can tell people put time into it because there's AI for it and that kind of stuff and when you're doing it like in in the casino and like in the like running around shooting bit it is there's no like you like keep going when you um Accel like there's no friction that's inertia kind of thing but in space it

handles like you're in atmosphere yes and like so it's like disconnected and you're saying like like the the in a game that was kind of designed you would learn skills in those scenarios that would translate whereas in Starfield everything is just very separate like the the spaceship flying has literally nothing to do with anything else that you do in the game yeah the casino like zero g like it's not a skill that you sort of built up to and then you don't really ever use it like that's it doesn't even work the same way as it does when you're in space like cuz like I said yeah when you're in space you stop accelerating you slow down which is not how space works like so why not be consistent I think it's just a shame it

could have been a great game yeah I mean I wasn't I was still having fun but I enjoyed it but picked it back up ex good sign yeah exactly Luke have you been have you played on any of Robocop Robocop played it finished it it is a great game yeah it looks good it looks good it is a great mid game and we need more games like this I like how I feel I should mention every game I play because I play so few games Luke plays and finishes Robocop and it's just like a forgot to mention it g yeah that's right cuz he finished 12 other games if I was playing it that's yeah exactly the first achievement I got in the game was to shoot someone in a dick yeah well I mean true to true to the story it was

himself no it's a really good game and I'm not saying like it's great it's like it's not Game of the Year Contender or anything like that it's not Boulders gate one no it wasn't a contender at all actually it's a it's a good game and they also of get guys that made Terminator resistance as well oh okay oh see I wanted to play that which again was also it they remaster that yeah it was sort of weird they the remaster came out like a week before RoboCop came out and it just sort of seems weird for the same developers to release to back to back two 80s movie based video don't complain guys what are you doing no no please both of them were quite good games they're not super long games they're not super hard games and like they're quite was super hard even with super hard I i'

go to achievements lot even the achievements were like super hard or griny they basically play the game there's a few seets to find but if you're exploring you find them naturally Dan and I aren't going to get that achievment no not played it no no I would like to play the Robocop game yeah I occasionally still play the RO RoboCop arcade game on retro AR so you know fun still pretend I'm RoboCop when I'm walking around I gonna Point Dan I don't know if you're seeing it but Dan's freezing every now and again for me so cold am I interesting cold here I bet it's not cold there not um actually it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be today yeah heatwise yeah it meant to

be no it's me to be 40s where you are it's meant to be 30s where we are we I got 40 degrees right now okay 40 That's Celsius guys so that's about 100 10° F I keep this one in Celsius so I can communicate with you guys still it's one one we were meant to be in 30s we're about 27 and I'm happy with that I've still got the air on because I'm [Laughter] delicate uhuh look another game that was up for a couple didn't win any I don't think uh isge it was in the Indie categories uh yeah I finished I did I finished it uh it's excellent again uh not short uh not short not long is quite uh in fact I got to the end and I was like oh that's the

end you know what that's not complaining just like oh I finished the game another one I finished in and I finished this that's like some kind of world record for me games don't need to be 100 hours they can be a good three to four hours and it's quite nice no and I feel like this would have been too much if it had continued on because like it's like it's not super complicated or anything like that and it's fun but it's like you know I guess you get bed of it eventually and I never got bored of it because you know it ended so yeah yeah that's great no really good cuz yeah I could see like fishing and just would get a bit tedious if that's yeah and there's a bit more to it than that because You' got to collect you upgrade your ship and your and you know stuff but yeah but you're not

having to grind for 10 hours to get your next pieces of a b to upgrade or anything like that you got so you can fish and you can also dredge as in collect stuff off the bottom so what you do is you sail around find shipwrecks uh and then from shipwrecks you can get wood metal scraps and um cloth and you collect those take them back to the ship yard in the various towns around and then they can help you improve your ship in various ways yeah using those parts I do want this it's $40 is it worth $40 interesting it seemed like the kind of thing that you could probably get for $25 eventually I want to say that I mean that does seem like a lot although there's a big price difference between there and here that I'm perspective on

it is very good so it's $39 on on switch yeah I mean I I would I really so I guess I'd say yeah I guess it is I'm just gonna it just is quite short so but I don't one of those people is like poo poo is a really good game just because it's short you know what I mean like how do you value that I mean it kept me from playing Boulders Gate 3 that's that's how good it is I could have been playing that I remember when you when you first mentioned it you said that it was only kind of subtly love crafty and by the end of the game does it lean oh sure yeah yeah because the main quest is fishing up cthulu by the end yes I got it and I started play games yeah this year yeah dreams in the witch

house and this oh yeah last year a couple good ones too there was the game and the sinking City like yeah I have the sinking City on switch too I got to play that yeah I've got it on switch as well I played through it on the Xbox and then bought it again on the switch because it was on sale for stupid low and I thought oh I might want to play it again yeah and you might want to play it on the go yeah I only play on the go now and by On The Go I mean in my house in my study no well that's I I like lra does things uh but I still have to be around to make sure she's not you know hurting cuz she does sometimes she goes to do a thing and I'm like don't do that that's ridiculous and you're going to hurt yourself but you know if she's happily coloring or doing something I

can sit there with the switch and like yeah you know and you know what I was thinking we we mocked this when uh Playstation announced that they were doing it but I I want Xbox to follow suit and do you get the portable one where you just tether to your actual machine I guess I've developed case for it that I hadn't thought of same cuz I was like mate if I could just play the Xbox in here and not have to Commander the TV and not have to you know that would be excellent totally play the same games yeah the the great thing about the switch too is that I mean the games have to support this is that if something happens and I have to put it down I could just hit the power button that's right and put it down deal with whatever it is yeah exactly Yeah Yeah clean up

all the cereal that's all over the floor now and uh yeah yeah I'm looking at sort of upgrading so I've got the Neo not to a steam deck but they've got the L Lenovo Legion ones which are looking to upgrade that thing that you paid several thousand dollars for yes that Mini PC well this one's got like well this one's also a Mini PC it's got a bigger screen and it's also got the controllers on the side but these are also detachable as well and so I'm thinking about I played at um PAX East I think is it the Logitech one it's a cloud streaming one as well and uh I mean it seemed all right but yeah I mean for for that use case though actually that would be quite good it was only a couple hundred bucks I think that one because it's all just Cloud streamed yeah yeah if you're just

using it for home that's great if you do but if you do want a bit more if you want use when you travel it's basically useless on the bus yeah yeah but you're right yeah see that PlayStation thing now you've said that I'm like yeah i' I've got a PS5 I literally could use that thing yeah and you might actually play PS5 game yeah I think it did yeah I've seen people have them I remember when they announced it and we discussed it and then I never thought about it again well because I think at that time I I I mean I certainly was like what use is that to me if I'm out I thought expensive is it how much is it um I've seen one here I get on kogan for 600 bucks oh sure a whole what's it

called portal a PlayStation PS portal remote player PlayStation portal remote player there we go how much is it here buy now tell me the price son 200 bucks see I know it just feels like it's a little bit too much for it just streams yeah it doesn't do anything because I could get the steam deck 16 gig for $715 right now which yeah for something that just dreamed I think it's a bit Rich shouldn't cost you half the price of a console just to be able to stream it yeah had to pay for the console already yeah yeah interesting but I'd like it if XBox did it but then I probably stick with

getting the PC handheld PC cuz I'm enjoying it now I'm using it what I'm going to use in hospital when I'm recording next week mhm oh yeah so yeah you're going to do that you're going to I'm going to do it we'll see how it goes I may not but I am preparing to be on the podcast next week live from hospital oh we need to discuss we don't need to discuss it on air but I just realized isn't like Christmas like oh yeah like the week after that yep gonna be oh no it's all right it's all right for some reason thought Christmas was on like or around of Friday which is when we we usually take a break between Christmas and New Year let the listen detox from this uh champagne sultry tones yeah look I watched some movies this week that I wanted to discuss but I also want to hear about the movie that

Matt got tricked into watching yeah that's a Christmas that's on theme actually so can't be The Nightmare Before Christmas cuz that's said before Christmas that's right that's a Halloween movie yeah and you would don't have to be tricked into watching that no no no in fact I've seen it more time I've seen it more times this year than maybe combined in my life because L just keep putting it on yeah right um before we move on from that sorry just you know you mentioned that L was initially quite yeah scared of it was just a bit too ghosty and yeah she got over it um there's something that Harper has started watching now she she watched it but she I have to be there because it's it's and it's [ __ ] scary and it is the zombie episode of pink Fong's baby

shark where all of the Sharks other than the baby the dad the mom turn into [ __ ] zombies she and they're [ __ ] corpses it's unnecessarily scary right is this a real pink Fong thing or is this some YouTube yeah it is it's on Netflix yeah yeah right zombie shock and she's like oh Dad's a zombie and it's like don't show the rotting corpse of daddy shark nobody no kid wants to see that but does she know what a zombie is she says the word zombie and she knows that it's a scary version of Something There You Go any who well so so Jenna is into Christmas movies and by that I mean Hallmark you know Christmas and I'm going back to my own

old Hometown and I'm going to catch exact and then the other day she said something about she was we're looking she's like we got we have to start watching Christmas movies because it's com Christmas she has really into it we always watch Christmas Carol the Muppet Christmas Carol rather anyway she says to me that's a great movie and what I that that somebody no one told uh Michael Kane that he was acting with Muppets he's like yeah I'm taking this [Laughter] 100% yeah he's great in it amazing he is so she go she says do you want to watch this movie it's called love hard and it she said it's Christmas movie of 2021 one best it's it's best Christmas movie of 2021 and I was like oh sure it's got UMAS movie we'll get to that Dan we'll

get to that so I didn't question it I said oh okay best Christmas movie of 2021 sure it's got Nina dobre from uh The Vampire Diaries and some other stuff in it she like I like her she's cool and it's got the guy who plays jinyang from um Jimmy yangang jinyang no jinyang from uh I know I know I realized I actually quite likeing yeah yeah it's got him in it man that's why um and so I was like sure so we watched this movie uh and it was good I laughed it's fine you know it's not uh I was going to say it's not going to win any B you know it did I thought Christmas the year 2021 so then we're talking about the next like what we watch next and

then well the Christmas the Christmas interiew 2022 was single all the way which is like a gay Christmas comedy and I was like sure so anyway tonight I said okay do you want to watch that Christmas movie after the podcast tonight and she said yeah yeah yeah and I said um something about like I guess we just have to make this thing now we have to watch all of them and she goes what do you mean all of them and I said said all of the previous best Christmas movies of the year and she goes um you know when I said Christmas of the year I meant of mine and Jordan's sister and I was like oh I assumed there was some Authority some Academy yeah exactly the Hallmark

Academy was voting on on Christmas movies and I didn't even I guess I just didn't even think about it just said Christmas mov the year I'm like oh that's probably a category of something but no no so yeah fooled me effectively but you say that Matt but actually that that is a good segue to a movie that I saw so I I've got a new segment right that I'd like to to start doing it's called Dan watches Martin scorsese's movies so that you don't have to oh because this is a man who used to make terrific movies and now sometimes makes quite good movies but mostly just makes very very long movies it complains that no one wants to

watch them yeah it complaints that people would prefer to watch a Marvel movie and I will 100 I would rather watch any Marvel movie than this one so I'm not saying it wasn't good it was probably good but it wasn't n entertaining it was three and a half hours of us mistreating not us Matt and his people mistreating the Native Americans yeah um I assume that's pulled your jacket off a dead Indian and there's a lot of dead Indians in this movie um this is so heavy-handed this is from Mexico down but okay yeah same thing man um this is so heavy-handed that in the last scene of the movie after all of the Native Americans have been killed right

they goty himself oh comes on to screen and just starts talking a camera about how many dead indians there are and it's like we get it right it was horrible it was awful a three and a half hour SE I've seen trailers for this and I thought okay looks all right like it doesn't it didn't look bad to me but that doesn't sound bad three and a half hours long yeah of just people being [ __ ] right you know and I think it's it's winning it was Sight and Sounds movie of the year like and it's probably going to get Academy Awards too and stuff but I'm just saying right now not Jordan and Jenner's movie of the year well yeah I I wouldn't want to I wouldn't want to estimate what their

official ranking of this is I'm just saying like No One's Gonna want to say something bad about this movie because you sure and it was interesting I had to stop and and Google this because the movie starts off by saying in 190 something a group a specific tribe of Native Americans but by the way I was using the word Indian ironically because that's how they call them in the movie I don't really think they called that okay um to stop riding in right yeah but specifically they not riding they we talked about found not them I mean the woke Oho white people who always write in to correct me when I say something on PC um the they found oil on their land yeah and they suddenly this one tribe became millionaires and it shows all these

Florida I I can't IM I mean NASA's fun go to NASA the last one yeah I would like to do that the last I played was um San Andreas if you can believe it back back then and I thought that was a great game but I didn't like the characters all the setting like I wanted Vice City again just because that was a fun character to the play and a fun setting yeah yeah but it just wasn't as pretty as San Andreas and I just kind of tuned out since then and this looks like the same kind of thing just not it's just not I I've never gotten super into GTA games to be honest like I've played I played three a bit but I only kind of like [ __ ] around in it and like crashed cars and did goofy stuff I never played um even Vice City Vice City was good yeah I never played much of that I

never played San Andreas very very much because again it's just like it's not um I don't know it's not like the vibe of it is notan setting is not really yeah just not I don't have any like context for that personally much you know so I've finished every single one since GTA 3 and four couldn't get into four was great five couldn't get four the one with Ricky D in it I don't know four was the one where you work for the guy car I can't remember anyway I just was great I'm looking I don't care about GT what I'm saying I like Redemption the thing I'm worried about is because GTA 5 was great but then they did of no followup stuff it was all multiplayer stuff and I'm worried that they're going to make six to be multiplayer because that's where they've

made a ton of money is just selling selling stuff in their their online stuff and I don't want that I want a single player game I can enjoy because that's where I think um Red Dead Redemption like I go back to achievements half the achievements in the game were playing the online but no one liked the online so no one really played that and they actually banded it while ago Forten that even had online no I didn't uh you could actually you could actually just buy Red Dead online not actually even buy and we talked about Red Dead 2 online because if you recall everybody was roleplaying uh and um been being racist we talked about that they basically forming lynch mobs and things in game and it was like we need to do something about that

girls at work there because they were like can we get a photo with you so get a photo with your pedophile friend sure you can we just want leads some evidence yeah um speaking of Disney and Marvel and things um Jonathan Maes has caused some real problems and continues to cause problems from what I've seen Cu uh the court case is on and there's stuff coming out that's not looking good no so to catch you up listeners uh Jonathan maor's girlfriend or ex-girlfriend said that they were in the back of a car and uh he got a text message from someone else M girl it wasn't her she snatched the phone off and said who are you getting text

messages for and then he grabbed her hand and pride the phone back so hard he broke her finger jeez oh then some kind of hit or slap or shove to the Head then got out of the car she followed him and he grabbed her and threw her back against the car and stormed off he said no no no no the argument happened in the car and I left the car and then later on she came back with all these injuries self-inflicted because she's crazy she cray cray right she she came he went she went off and just broke her own finger get correct and um and then just hit her head into something um his his fist but there is surveillance footage from some security camera that shows from the

moment he got out of the car so obviously before that we don't know the bit where he grabs her and throws her back into the car so that's that's not good that happened the way that she said it she's also got texts from previous incidents okay that's what I heard about yeah he's going don't go to the hospital they're going to ask questions even if you lie and say that you hurt yourself they're still going to come after me and uh wouldn't it be better if you just leave it and she's like dude I think you really hurt me like I really need to get looked at um yeah so does he doesn't specifically admit to anything necessarily but it's so but still that's not no he's I think as far as I mean not that not this is the point but he's [ __ ] as far as his
