I didn't even get the week thank you Nate call Unbelievable yeah what have you done mat yeah what episodes of BSG are you in that's fair I haven't even seen babyon 5 that alone been in it so yeah I can see why he's disdainful have you seen any space above and beyond will you wi that I have I've seen it I know I've seen Luke just uh hadm I just I've been ages since I've seen that and God that was a good show you know what I loved that that I wasn't in it because I could just claim that I was were you in Earth to Matt do you remember Earth to yeah I was in earth as well didn't get a sequel ended on a cliffhanger and never got a sequel no Earth three Earth three but yes you're right cancelled due

to complete lack of Interest except by me except by us I [ __ ] loved it I loved it Tim Curry as strange man they met on planet yes there you go who was evil but also pretending to helped him he was basically the doct Smith from Lost space oh sure so I play game this week Dr Smith oh okay go on I played aad quadruple a game so not a tripa a game oh quadruple a it's better than that it's meant to be better than a triple A do that just be more expensive what does what I never know that is Triple A just mean they spent Millions I think that's really what it is like like this is something we've spent years and lots of money on cuz it's definitely not

money on whatever this is what are you playing Skull and Bones right so remember when Assassin Creed 4 Black Flag came out yes I don't think you guys liked it but I really enjoyed the whole pirate thing I enjoyed the pirate thing I just thought the gameplay would tedious well they said we're gonna make an entire game of that just the pirate thing forget about the Assassin's Creed stuff and just Pirates oh okay because I think I saw this game when I was at E3 which was a long time ago so it's been floating around think 10 or 11 years ago intended um and it's and it was just ship-to ship combat right um I was hoping it was basically going to be I was hoping it was going to be Black Flag just without Assassin's Creed so you did still be f look a little love crafti all

it is is is it it's not good i' played for a couple of hours all right so we don't like quad a games you can't it's only ship to ship combat so there's no that's sword fights or fist fights I mean looks like it's ship to sea monster combat in there that far into the game but it's also online it's an the ship to ship combat was arguably the worst part of Black Flag worst part of any of the ones I've played Origins and odyssey although Odyssey wasn't as bad because they kind of like toned down how much you had to do it God there's way too much of it in Origins yeah and there was a lot of ocean in Odyssey there was a lot weird the ship was also a weird ship and but yeah this before you ride in I'm aware

it was the Mediterranean Sea not an ocean thank you yeah no this just I don't know I've played for a few hours and people are going oh it's good people are complaining well it's got you got to play like 70 hours and then you really get to the main gameplay and I'm I'm not playing 70 hours to get to more used to be it was literally a joke I don't know whether it was in a penny arcade comic or if they just made a joke in one of the you know the behind the scenes videos or something about how um uh what's his name coup said oh have you played the new Final Fantasy what whichever one they were up to at that point and he said I done a few he go oh no it's at least 13 and 14 hours before it gets you know really gets into it and

they're like that's insane now it's like 70 hours did you say 70 hours someone was saying I saw and like no cuz you got to and basically it's just I don't know if you ever played the crew I know what it is driving basically that you drive you that you drive you race get better Parts you upgrade your car that's all this is is you go you the crew seem to me GTA with all the interesting bits taken that's essentially what this is as well no you're on a barge crossing a river it's one of those ones you can drive on yeah it's actually the first scene from Alan Wake one but with with a lot of fairy to fairy combat I'm actually kind of happy I didn't really pay for this did you do the the free eight hour trial for p Ubisoft plus I playay for Ubisoft plus

so I am paying for it and there's not a 370 hour trial so you can play it until it gets good so you can do the tutorial and because I do have it now so that means like any Ubisoft Games come out I get like the Premium Edition and it's sort of good in that respect and I have played like the new Assassin's Creed and stuff on it but this was I don't know what this as we've discussed I've already got a lot of Ubisoft games and they're like 10 bucks after like like a few months it seems like I just I just acquire them in sales like why games that I'm ever going to play that's why I didn't get it originally because day one it came out well I already have them all so there's no point but now the new or on to St to come out sort of a little bit worth my

while cuz I know I'm going to play them except this most expensive Subscription Service of any of them it's like 23 bucks jeez month what is it called Ubisoft plus yep you just have to name it plus what game pass is Game Pass is 20 bucks a month yeah you're right I think is 16 now now but luk get like free and stuff he doesn't even know how much it he did some scam 5 years ago and he's still riding High on it yeah yes iend out my game pass thing for a long time I don't know when I start paying for it so for the old Ubisoft games that I already probably have it's $7.99 a month or for the premium which is I guess the one where you get this game when it comes out it's here it's 18 bucks a month I wouldn't be rushing to

play this Matt and not just because Luke doesn't like it it really doesn't look like anything up our alley I'm not going to Ubisoft makes a game like when that Star Wars one comes out I'll buy that game I'll play that yeah but I'm not I'm not going to subscribe and and obviously they do not sponsor us no they have they have given us review copies of things before probably not now though I don't know I speak good about some of their games yeah good ones yeah just the bad ones mhm up you man I love assin a game I should go back and play Black Flag I suppose it' be better than playing this is it better than um than like Odyssey or Origins I really enjoyed Origins

actually surprisingly so very different before it's before they made that that transition yeah I remember I tried to play the original Assassin's Creed last year I was like [ __ ] it I'm going all the way back no you can't do it you cannot do ite they hav done a remaster of that or anything that just no it was it was on the Xbox store as a was it 360 it must be 360 360 yeah it have to be yeah yeah it actually before it became like open open world they still on the same system as Kung Fu [Laughter] Chaos the less said about that the better so yeah that's my review of skull and bones don't buy how many stars out of how many skulls and out of five and how many bones one how many bones and how many skulls I don't know I couldn't

find anything redeemed maybe I need to play a little bit more but no no no no if you don't like it don't just keep playing it until you bit more more get stock syndrome almost two work weeks you need to play of it I'll check in after I'll let you know after 70 hours if it's good quit your job but I knew it wasn't going to be good because it was an MMO oh is it yeah oh well is it like um what's the Sea of Thieves is that anything like that sea of Thieves always seems appealing to me I've never actually played because you have to play with other people and I don't have other people to play it with yeah and you need to like yeah because you can't run a ship by yourself you have to have like someone you try but you need someone

Sals or weapons even the map like you can't see a map and steal a ship at the same time run through the sales it would a fun game if you're playing with people and I think this is even better than this because there's I don't know there's combat in it like you can get off the you go to an island dig fight things and then get back on the boat and so you don't ever get out of the boat you just you get out of it but just to go to like a town and go shopping like click on the tavern and and like that kind of you get off you walk around the town and you go oh this person's going to give me a mission this person I can upgrade my ship here and buy this and they'll give me that type of stuff but there's no combat or so not to be like you know snarky but why what

is 4 a about this triple quad a like why why it take so long to make like I don't mean to poo poo them but like honestly I think it was just him trying to go please play our game we spent a lot of time and money on this right hell and they've REM mentioned it so many times and oh okay very like complicated which doesn't mean anything I suppose I'm just wondering what was the time spent on CU your description of it makes me think well I've played Assassin's Creed Origins and all the others and this just sounds like a small portion of those games they released several of those in the time it took them to make this game yes yeah it's just the boat bits like there's nothing else including one that you haven't played yet what's the name

of Mirage Mirage oh that's true that's true although Luke didn't give that a particularly good review um it's because it wasn't no boats in it though there was no boats in it but it wasn't particularly big and it I know where they put the boats no boats [ __ ] Luke I don't know where the boats pick a lane no this was just it felt like what it was it was just an an extended DLC because it was or play DLC and then they went for what DLC for what um balla oh okay players bus him's not even in oh okay oh no he is he is yeah you're right you're right I'm thinking it just going to be SP DLC for that and then they went no we'll make it full game but they didn't make it like a full full game it was a sort of a it was a what $60 title instead of 100 I gotta say Jenna is

still playing um Assassin's Creed Valhalla she's playing it right now that game is [ __ ] infinite yes sure like so much content for it like Jesus I got hung up when you had that little festival with all those little mini games and I just started playing so many of them that I got bored and just wished that I didn't have them all still in my quest log because I want to leave and go do something else after the festival finishes or something for me they did unless I was just playing it wrong just knuckle down get them done well I mean it was years ago I'd have to start that game again now yeah I often worry about that which is fine I'm I'm I'm halfway

through a second playthrough of Alan Wake 2 so that's all I've been playing this week wish they that's what I need to I still call [ __ ] and BC 3 Big Game of the Year you're wrong no did you play it Luke no no well then maybe wait till you've played it before you weigh in on Reas for saying it's sort of [ __ ] because it's something that everyone votes for the game had only just released like a week before for voting damn good then people have been playing it for a long time was in Early Access for years if a portion of your audience AC been able to play the game how does it still get to be vot number one it's that good because it was that good yeah play it and find out was

better look we've got a ton of followup this week um Luke's got some um some skin followup Luke do you w to you want to reveal oh I don't know if you'll be able to see it your skin we can see it no thank God that way there he is there he is it's for the listeners who aren't Lookers it's paper boy he's got a tattoo paper boy does paper boy have a name I don't think so does boy have a name his name is I found I found out this week that all the different ghosts in Pac-Man all have names and they've all got specific specific goals to achieve iny pinky about the goals someone and Clyde yes it is it's Inky winky Pinky and Clyde yeah and they all like some will

always turn like right or one just aims for the square you're on at all times one tries to aim for the next corner to to cut you off one always tries to stay a certain uh number of squares behind you at all times so it's it otherwise they'd all just be going for you right and that's why people are so good at the game because they they know which ones to yeah that's why Billy Mitchell's so good at it I do have to shout out my tattoo artist tast of barbecue sauce in my mouth Annie CU she puts up with my [ __ ] yeah I mean that's no small feet so yeah like she me you the night before go hey um have you worked out what we're doing yet just I'll let you know she goes cool send it to me overnight and I'll draw it in the morning and then got to the time

of tattooed and I hadn't sent her anything go so do you know what we're doing and I'm no not yet mhm MH and so we sat down together we worked out stuff and we found that's how they love to work yeah all artists all artists love that too and they love it when the client doesn't really know what they want yes but but you do want it perfect whatever I'm not sure what it's going to be but it's got to be right or I'm gonna be [ __ ] annoyed because a tattoo artist doesn't get a first draft you know right well the good thing about me is like I'm also quite was like I'm not going to be too fussy like if something goes we miss get off and do whatever she wants yeah she could be on the phone and just be doodling

decent version especially For A system that only had one button before they opened the Starlight Room and then they got Nintendo's in there that was days I remember when they open that was it in the staright room that you were visited by a certain celebrity guest oh no they they would come and visit me in my room thank you very much I don't go to meet them celebrities come to meet me good Tom good Tom and Nicole look I've got some followup as well Matt you gave me some homework a couple of weeks ago and I really did attempt to do this yeah yeah so um we we found out or you out and you let me know that Bunning Warehouse the the chain of hardware stores in Australia were rebranding as

Haman um to become Bluey themed and uh and not only that but they had Bluey merchandise including the husbands which are garden gnomes specific to one episode of the show where they go to hammer bar um so I didn't go on the first day which was a Saturday but I did go on second day right Sunday I went on the Sunday and I drove out to Blacktown which uh you know it's about half an hour from where I live context we know somebody who literally was almost kidnapped in Blacktown literally was someone tried to shove him into a [ __ ] car and kidnap him so who is that I don't know this story I'll tell you after the show okay sure yeah okay yeah I mean it's yeah so anyway I drive back I usually try to avoid this place but um I drive out there and okay back

up I went to the website first no mention of h a butn right the only thing I could find was a seven news clip on YouTube that mentioned that certain stores were and that Blacktown was one of them right okay went to the website nothing on the bunny's website about it nothing about anything no reskin no website takeover mention at all when they in hindsight not that odd because um look to skip ahead have a guess was this done really well or was it utterly disappointing uh okay well I'm B B I'm going to I'm going to guess this third option it was done poorly but went very well because well can you buy did you get there on the second day and buy one of these Gomes no I didn't because when I got there sold out they were all sold out on the first day so I get there

Hammer bar looks great I'm really excited it's a 40 dee day uh which for America is like something 16 and it was sweltering and uh I had to convince my daughter that she was going to see some cool Bluey stuff to even get her out of the house and into the car on this day we go in there and there's absolutely no Bluey branding on the inside of the store the fact that the store is called hammer and not Bunnings is the only thing I searched the entire store to try and find these [ __ ] gnomes couldn't see them went to the front and said where are the [ __ ] gnomes and she was like oh don't think we got any yeah where's

my [ __ ] husband and um she said not all the stores are rebranding and not all the stores are getting the merch and they're not necessarily the same stores so go figure right that's insane but okay so she checked the system and she said Seven Hills have the husbands sure it's only another 20 minutes from Blacktown so get back my daughter is literally begging me to go home please go home and I'm like there's going to be Bluey and she's like you said that before about this a and we went to a boring store yeah that's not air conditioned right I thought the whole thing was going to be I thought we'd spend the whole afternoon there anyway we get to Seven Hills again not branded doesn't even say hammer on it go

in no Bluey merch inside no no takeover no Decor go to the back of the store where the regular garden gnomes are and there's a there a table an empty trestle table that's been brought out with an empty pallet bottom right that says sold out yeah and I was like well this has been a horrible horrible day you could still get them if you want you just got to go online and I've got to pay a thousand for context these were these were 30 bucks yeah $ oh they were $19 were they there you go Australian dollar selling for like yeah yeah dollars right good points full limited full set of G Lo this one's special full set is four $900 for four these are the people who ruin it for

everyone yeah that's nuts they must have bought so many on that first day I I guarantee this is what always happens is that nobody thought at the beginning to limit the amount people could buy yeah and it wasn't until there weren't any left that they went oh when the first five people brought a hundred up to the counter they should have clued in it should have been one set per person but then people did the whole thing of well well I'm here with my partner and kids so we're all going to buy a set each and yeah and then they got I'll keep one sell the rest off people ruin it for everyone oh yeah they'll find a way all right well anyway that's a shame so sorry Matt I was I was literally no worries appreciate the effort I had something I

answering machine and you know someone picks up the other line in the other room and they hear something they're not supposed to stuff anymore any mystery from the 80s back is is void now that mobile phones are part of the scene they have to think of reasons that your phone doesn't work in horror movies yeah that's right yeah to come up with some reason that it doesn't work no I didn't charge it by that whatever it is the one where they where they yeah they in the forth film which shuts their phones down while away that's a [ __ ] great movie though that's a great movie yes love that don't don't don't poooo that movie I'm not pooing but I'm saying just be clear it's not called Hill right Cabin in the Woods

guy's name Martin Freeman Martin Freeman yeah he plays wait this is a movie where Martin Freeman wants to [ __ ] Jenna Ora the actress or character played by her so I just let's be clear here he plays himself he plays himself yeah and also it's it's not a movie they just film it yeah yeah that's right agent his agent recorded him on a call going can you get me in there I want to be in a movie with her I don't care what it is yes I do it yes right yeah was it good good was it good good good that I watched it what do you think you just want to talk about General tiger again didn't you we've got do we have a jingle for when jroa comes up in each episode what would it be just the Wednesday theme

Daniel fumi or Worse um we've got some more follow Gina kanana is back in the news oh I'm so glad she is this is a power move she's suing Disney to get back on the Mandalorian I guess um because apparently Elon Musk said he would pay the legal fees of anybody who was um cancelled because of something they said on Twitter and so she said well hello with this all Disney said was she wasn't fired we're not putting her in the show any anymore correct and her story arc in that show had ended and it's moved on I don't really see how so grogers so I obviously she's doing this uh for symbolism and I think that's

probably what most people do when they sue for wrongful uh dismissal but I always doesn't want the job back how are you going to show that's what I always think like when people sue for money for compensation I get that but when you sue to be rehired by people who [ __ ] hate you and if they didn't before they definitely do now yeah that's odd normally what I think happens a lot of these cases is they'll get yes you're wrong as you missed here's where you back pay and then they don't go back they go back to find another job but they get that what I would imagine you would go back in with this like she's not gonna be back on the show imagine this imagine with with all their planned Disney somehow lose this and they're like we have to write F make a show

performance well I have a problem with her character just not the characters you played in the show we do have some more followup which this one hurts KY versus Acme is dead again because no one wants to buy it which just seems crazy I think no one wants to pay what they're asking more accurate they I think they've they like I said they've got that spreadsheet that they use to determine when they're going to throw a completed film in the bin now the government's trying to figure out if they're going to be allowed anymore Dody at the moment they've got the spreadsheet so they punched in the numbers and they said all right in order to get more money than we'd get putting it in the bin we want this much I don't think anyone's want surely $1 is more

than throwing it in the bin and getting literally nothing right off yeah there's some Wizardry math going on you know that you know movie math is somehow I owed $700 to the ATO this year after doing my tax and earning a pretty normal wage and having no weird stuff why are these people being able to ride off [ __ ] happen to me before too sucks um yeah I know but you know how you know how movie finances work you know they make a whole company for the movie and then you never agree to get you know paid down the line because they'll screw you out you will not be paid yeah yeah oh we never made a profit technically yeah that's right that's how they screw authors yeah we personally made money but the movie itself didn't make any Prof paid by the company which has now gone bankrupt so yeah

yeah because we took all the money yeah we paid all the money to us and now it's gone so there's none left for you um yeah I think they wanted 75 million uh I mean 75 yeah okay so Milli is what it used to be 35 million mhm and then they're trying to sell it for 75 million yeah because I think like I said I'm sure there's some math that went into that where it's better for them not to sell it and just write it off and that's [ __ ] stupid but because there's also you sell it off once and then you can sell it again later and I don't think that's true that works someone else it's not an nft Luke if you're selling it to streaming services you can sell it once oh I see you sell limited rights yeah okay I mean

they could try that I suppose clearly they don't want to do any of that no I was about to say they don't want to do that they had that option to begin with and they they chose not to do that well no I think I think sorry you suck it up you go this is [ __ ] we're gonna take a hit on it and it's not [ __ ] [ __ ] movies look like one of them that's the that's the problem with this is that everybody who's seen this says it's really good it's just they have this [ __ ] spreadsheet that says throw it in the bin because they don't care about the quality of the film they care about money is that always the case like I mean I I used to work in the film industry but not on the financial site clearly uh but every single movie that is made in Hollywood just be on the day

before they release it does a lawyer look over it and decide whether it's better to release it or throw it in the department yeah I'm sure accounts Department especially these days because you know I remember very much talking about how he was trying to pitch stuff and they just said oh it's not a sequel or a you know like a remake they don't want to make anything because they've got these you know this is both yeah you're right yeah and it looks quite funny yeah and I tell you if if somehow they Salvage this is this a lot of free publicity for so if they do men sh I think someone on that should just leak it like it's not fair to punish because thing it's not sheld it's not shelving if they do this it's been a tax

right off it's it's gone it goes in the literal have to destroy yeah you can't pull it out of the Vault and go oh surprised because the government's gonna be like well yeah was that 75 million or whatever you so would have to be like a leak where it's we pirate although again if you can argue that the company that wrote it off no longer exists or liquidated or something and that you as a private citizen have just found this piece of lost media there a thumb drive in the yeah but like if it gets leaked then there's no money changing hands with that yeah yeah because I want to see it yeah I would see it movies but I want to see yeah I I guess I want to see it but I I'm I'm not desperate to say it I'd want

money just make money well it's like all those guys that b against the housing market in 2007 you know that they were like could we possibly make some off betting against these mortgages that are about to go bust and they're like no law against it until there is yeah yeah we should probably make a LW about that yeah we will speaking of bat girls or or not bat girls per se but um we we'll get four more superheroes very soon the Fantastic Four oh yes yes I saw this I saw pictures of who they've cast looks like a pretty good cast I must say I don't know haven't been this excited about I mean yeah it's unusual but I mean there's been at least two Fantastic Fours so far that have been utter garbage right

so three oh yeah three there was another one um people are angry that Pedro Pascal is in it instead of John krinski yeah because they hinted that he was going to be in it because he was in a some vers um Doctor Strange he was he was fantastic in that which I think I I think they probably asked him and I think he would I don't think he wanted to no he strikes me as not much of a comic book yeah I think he do like a cameo type I don't know if he' commit to he's a bit more highbrow I think yeah I assume that when they asked Pedro Pascal to do it he said will I have to transport a child somewhere and they were like no and he was like that's the

only story line I do now do I have to wear a helmet can I have a helmet and can I just not be there can I just not turn up that's kind of my thing now yeah yeah to be fair he doesn't have a helmet in last of us but he does he does transport a child I'm and I'm joking he's Pedro Pascal seems legitimately awesome excellent um he's another crossover too because he was in Wonder Woman so he's he's going to do the dcn Marvel thing for about pretty much the only good thing about that second Wonder Woman movie yeah I thought I thought the weird one I saw this was like Joseph queenn and even Moss I thought they were the weird pics yeah yeah sure yeah so Vanessa Kirby is kind of the it girl she was like stepped onto the world stage and the crown uh and then Tom Cruz

picked her for hisp moviec a little bit as Mr Fantastic like I don't know for me Pedro P he seemed I think he's short fantastic I think he's short they'll stretch him that's what he does he'll stretch himself man sorry that's what I meant I don't know if he is short but in my mind he is I'm finding out right now how many pascals is he tall 108 180 M for some reason even though we use metric system 1.8 m what is that yeah same hard as me yeah yeah sure for some reason I thought he was a little bit shorter than that but okay that's fine it's just in my head he's short of for some

reason um this movie is going to be directed by the person who directed Wonder division so oh well that's a shame that started quite well and then in my first two episodes were great and then it went fizzled at the end jumped the shark in my opinion but yeah I'm interested like does this mean Marvel if this is good does this mean Marvel might start writing more fantastic for Comics again yeah probably yeah them off yeah we're not the movies are [ __ ] and it's bad on us yeah yeah they said people care about the movies more and we don't want to be associated with those movies y so probably I mean they always do that though there was that whole thing where Marvel Comics didn't want to produce Spider-Man comics because they didn't

want to M be seen to be advertising for Sony's movies yeah yeah I mean they were never going to kill off Spider-Man but then I would guess I would have said that at Fantastic for but Spider-Man's way too big a deal I think but oh Madam web apparently is garbage yeah I've heard that I mean it looks garbage yeah it looks [ __ ] [ __ ] so I've watched a few people doing reviews on it and yeah I'm not going to go out of my way to see it you know I haven't seen any of the the opposite of apparently is Dune part two lots of comparisons strikes back oh lots of [ __ ] hype I am attempting to maintain my expectations but it's Deni and it's Hans

and it looks [ __ ] sick so yeah hat two movies with guy sitting in a room yeah that scene was in the first one so you're going to have to yeah I wonder if that they had to make up something else to make the second movie about I watched a Deni villain movie this week actually um that I'd seen before but for some reason I couldn't remember what happened and then I remembered why I couldn't remember when I watched it but it's still very good and that's enemy have you guys seen Enemy No starring Jake Gyllenhaal who's just some dude who was watching TV one day and sees himself in movie and then

he Googles the cast and then rents every movie that actor is in and realizes he's got an exact doppelganger out there and uh decides to to tr that's my enemy yeah I don't think they actually say it but um they become kind of obsessed with each other and and and things like that um best thing about this movie you know how long it goes for hour 30 hour 30 bang on minutes like just movie length now Luke I will warn you they don't explain what happens in the end I'm sorry to say I don't go to a movie to me make up the ending you tell me the ending [ __ ] you this end extremely vague I'm sorry

to say yeah right have you seen um the one with it's Jake Gyllenhaal and um Q Jackman I think it's called prisoners oh yeah little girls that get go missing yeah that is that that's as well that's yeah that movie is [ __ ] I think he made this right after he made um enemy yeah right mov en is still a um Canadian film but I think it's his first English language movie because I think all his films before then were French Canadian if I'm remember correctly yeah and then he did prisoners which is [ __ ] amazing and Jackman is like if you if you only seen him as like Wolverine like and then you watch Happy gol lucky kind ofy he's [ __ ] psycho in this movie yeah yeah he makes Jake Gyllenhaal who plays a very good psycho in in other

movies like seem like the straight man yeah ncla is great NCL is good movie um there's a a bit of Dune 2 other news too this is a sort of a spoiler but it's everywhere I me assy old book yeah no no this is about somebody who's in the movie right oh so they've revealed because this person was at the premere everyone was like what's she doing there like you know actors who aren't in movies aren't allowed to go to the premieres apparently but Anya Taylor Joy is in the movie but they said oh we're not going to tell you who it is and then so everybody on Twitter was well we've read the book and there a a big hole in the cast we don't we know who all the other people play yeah and and the character in question dresses quite similarly to the way Ana Joy was dressed

at the premere so I think we figured it out oh interesting there go yeah so yeah she's in it if you don't know who we're talking about it'll be' and they've got Florence Pew in there yeah this is this they're just catering straight to you Matt yeah I'm I told you I'm excited I told you it's gonna be good I mean if if they somehow worked out how to get um Bryce Dallas Howard in there as well then I mean you'd need to take three boxes of tissues when you went to see this yeah I know cuz there's a very sad ending I have to search a bag snacks in there you don't want to but there going to be snacks on the screen [Laughter]

everywhere else as well so you can get him on um so he's not exclusive so he's still on Spotify he hasn't jumped ship he's and Spotify paid him more yep oh the New Deal sorry 250 million did I say 20 something million 250 250 million this man doesn't me any more money no so he's get paid another $250 million but he still he's back on YouTube and uh and apple podcasts and everywhere else too so now if you you know overcast I think you use overcast as well Dan you can I do yeah you can listen to to what are they paying for I will listen to that one actually Joe Rogan has a [ __ ] enormous audience and a lot of ads in the show yeah but but honestly I feel like they would make that money back off him pretty easy I don't understand what

they're paying him for well I think I think they still W him because otherwise you'll say no yeah from their perspective he's I know I don't even want to imagine how many millions of listeners he has they get paid by the advertisers like I said he's got like at least four or five ads per episode I think so Spotify plus he's got his own company like he [ __ ] flogs his own products as well his [ __ ] supplements doesn't do that anymore so remember it used to be um you know at the beginning before it ever got to the actual show it would be him talking for like 20 minutes about advertisers that's gone now they get straight into it but they're inter cut ads you know those kind of like Dynamic ads yeah Blue Apron but like I said that's what it is Luke Spotify is

making bank off Those ads for sure see I resent the fact that Spotify put ads in something where I've got a premium subscription to yeah that's weird right um which is one of the reasons I don't listen to podcasts on there the main reason is just because I've got a podcast app that handles podcasts much better and I don't want podcasts [ __ ] up my Spotify music playlist Fe to switch to it just to see and I can't do it there was a couple of other Apple podcasts sure yeah I did that too same yeah the best I have to use your [ __ ] app the um there was a couple of others that switched to Spotify only as well and uh I don't like that I use Spotify every day of my life that one's over there [ __ ] off no he has some good guests though Daniel Ricardo

can't go and film someone's wedding true yeah here's thing I'm that I'm scared of it's got to be very hard to believe anything now well um yeah yeah Sam Harris said that on this week's U little housekeeping he's been saying that for years yeah but he's he said he's like I don't know why I didn't come down so hard on this before but you literally just can't believe anything you hear see or read on the internet like it's getting even worse like before like like now you can mimic people's voices pictures and now like you have a video that looks I watched a video on YouTube today it was funny and it was clear that it was a parody but it still made me go that's a bit scary you you know um Tucker Carlson interviewed Putin right that was a whole big thing someone

made a video of it was it was video from that of Tucker Carson interviewing dag off Earth from morrowwind the evil God who's attempting to take over the world yeah yeah but it was it was to my eyes and ears it was tuer Carlson asking about what about the red guards and and like it was it was very convincing yes and um I was like yeah okay we can do that now y I have discovered you can essentially type in any band you love and listen to them play any song that you like yeah as a cover and they sound pretty [ __ ] convincing like if you ever wanted [ __ ] Lincoln Park to sing all of Evan's back catalog just go on

[ __ ] YouTube you can listen to that now like it exists and it's all amazing it's weird yeah so you can't you're not going to be able to believe absolutely anything now it's coming for all of your jobs and uh sanity yes because people don't use it for good things well some people do like that YouTuber created that video I watched that was good yeah and then there are people who do the Taylor Swift stuff yeah yeah yeah no no no but we're not talking about good stuff right talking about Badu why'd you look at me when you said that I'm just looking at my screen I'm just putting up with supply and demand I'm just give the people what they [Laughter] want I the sick one the sick ones are the ones you want who can save that want to [ __ ]
