that's consent and everyone's like oh something has happened at our work and she's like everyone needs to consent to the app that we are putting out we can't just sign them up without telling them and everyone was like right oh okay that's fine that's wholesome good yeah that's right the way it was all yeah all right I thought we I thought we'd hide Christian Horner for a minute yeah that's right oh Christian horer save all F1 news to the Afterparty all right fine Luke's probably wants was to save it for the spin-off podcast yeah yeah M gasm yeah yeah well I don't understand F1 I do but I don't get it but I I I do get brag on right again

about because remember we spoke about Skull and Bones yes well and remember how I said like people just wanted Black Flag instead yes Black Flag see like a surgence in gameplay players I saw an article and it was like are there any other pirate games that are as good as black flag and the consensus is apparently not really at the moment yeah Monkey Island I own Black Flag I never really gave it a good go it was just an old style of Assassin's Creed which is just go here grab this find as many feathers as you can I'd play mon again though now that you mentioned it that's on my list I've got a and I purchased control this week too or not this week purched last week but uh to play as soon as I finished my second Alan Wake 2 play through it is a weird game

it's it's very different to alen wake sure yeah not a bad thing because I've literally played wake twice back toback which I don't think I've ever done except for Mass Effect 2 which I played back toback but only because I did so poorly the first time killed everyone yeah what about disco alium which I know we have some news coming for that but you're right play that three times in a row yeah yeah that's true once normally well so famously disco alium was the brainchild of a of a group of Independent Artists who then well they didn't sell it per se they didn't realize yeah they partnered with a with a large developer who then released the

game then the original creatives managed to piss off that developer by um trying to sell on the rights that they no longer owned mhm um then the two lead writers either were fired or quit we don't really know um while the the studio which is called Z arm by the way uh went on to start creating disco elesium 2 which they maintained was well within their right to proceed with um and of and the original creators the original creators also wanted to proceed with disco elium 2 which was also iffy whether whether or not they were even allowed to Tinker with that IP um but now as I am I've just laid off a whole bunch of their stuff including all of

the original team for disco Alisia which means that their own shudio and do their own there might be something else but it won't be disco elium 2 it won't come from the original creators and it's unlikely to come from the the no no no no here's my prediction they will all get together and they're not they won't make disco alium 2 but we will get the alter worlds like we have for sure yeah yeah same sort of style but just its own thing off to the side which it's not gonna be hard because disco alium was already its own thing it wasn't yeah disco elesium is so good that I'm I'm kind of not mad about this because like how could they have ever you know lived up to it you know what I

mean Dan's so upset by this that he's just quit the podcast yeah we we'll just Soldier on yeah but you disco alium like like as you said it really is its own thing it's completely unique I've not felt about a game like a game hasn't captured me as much as disco alium did I don't think since disco elium not that much SS only one gameing you since disco alium that's come close and that's Alan W 2 I'd say balers gate 2 three rather Boulders gate three Boulders gate also very good man it was it was it's been 30 years but it was very good um but yeah I don't um Boulders Gate 3 I got to get back to thing is you got to Comm so much time to Boulders Gate 3 yeah yeah the problem is me not the game yeah it's not you

balers gate three it's it's me just I'm in a different place right now it's not even me technically it's the person in the Next Room yeah my [ __ ] wife won't let me play you I me the very small person in the Next Room the [ __ ] we pied for tonight Me So speaking of no never mind I will get around to playing Bortles Gate 3 one day I'll probably get back to play Disco alium 2 as well some stage no you won't play we just spent 10 minutes talking about this luk explain why it's unlikely to happen no because here's the thing the the publisher won't I I think they'll get sued by the creators if they try to do it on their own and the creators will certainly be sued by the publisher if they try to do it on their own so I think everyone will just cut their

losses and no one will make one yeah we're not getting this to we'll get something else in that style though but here's the thing yeah except that they couldn't that's the that's the whole thing this group of people couldn't do the game on their own despite all their combined tenants that's why they had to get this big Studio on board and they lost that so unless they get a new big Studio on board yes I think I think they may if this hopefully they've learned from their mistakes understand what they're getting into now and then go hey we're creating a new studio and then maybe instead of going out somewhere big maybe hire in get some other talent in who know more of that site and go back in independent again yeah me yeah but I guess this

might be that one of those things where it's such a beautiful unique thing maybe it's better to just that's it you know what I mean yeah age before they not everything needu or whatever yeah not everything needs to be franchised right sequels aren't always the best unless think apparently we'll talk about that later yeah yeah well I was thinking recently about uh scream as I just from time to time think about I was watching some horror movies this week I watched some kind of just some good oneoff horror movies um which I'll talk about very very briefly in a second uh but I was thinking how Scream was the ultimate [ __ ] you to franchise horror movies like The Halloweens and the Friday the 13th which they they were great one-off

movies and then had arguably diminishing returns on all of their sequels into infinity and then the same thing happened with scream I was going to say I haven't seen the most recent ones but I'm assuming they just lost all that cuz the beautiful thing about scream was that it kind of pared all those slasher films while also being an excellent slasher film well being one of the best yeah then Scream 2 did the same thing for sequels of slasher films yeah and and then scream three which I still love I know there are people out there who don't with the whole they're making a movie of the story of the first movie and all this I thought that was brilliant as well MH and they lost all that they just and now it's just like

bog standard slasher yeah yeah not even slasher bog standard bog standard fourth fifth sixth version in in the line slasher which is just the same people come back to the same town and somehow are targeted Again by the same killer but you do get more JGA that's true not anymore though she's done with them now well I mean there is one that she's in that neither of you have seen so you you could watch that that's true I mean and she's in literally everything else so yeah she's in a lot of stuff except Dune she's not in Dune for some reason she isn't in Dune everybody else is there's characters she could play in the next one in June Messiah for sure yeah Children of Dune yeah is it confirmed that they're doing their third one they confirmed that they want to do

it yeah he also said he doesn't want to do anymore after that he said said that'll be it because this okay so is he gonna because obviously he took the first book and made it two movies yes and then what happened and then nothing D just getting so frustrated with us and just keeps leaving he's back he's back back again there we go are you guys kicking me out what's going on no your video goes black and then you just drop off and you can't hear me no you disappear yeah I figured all right anyway back he he split the first book into two movies you said yeah and then there were and then there are two more books written by Frank Herbert before somebody else took over is he combining those two

movies into the third one or is he only doing one of those books or is he only doing half of one I think from from what I understand because he's adapting them obviously not just making the movie of the what happens in the book um because there Sci-fi channel already did that because like we we know he's adapting and adding extra stuff because he's left the room well he has already because like you can see in the first one and I can even see in the trailer of the second one I always tweaked things a bit to make things pay off in different ways which is probably you do that for a movie of course of course you you got to hit movie beats not book beats yeah and you expand certain characters to give them a payoff that they necessarily might not have had the book yeah and so what I

think is the second one which is coming out what next week uh is [ __ ] is it so soon I better rewatch the first one then apparently it's got a little bit of Dune Messiah smooshed up into it like pulled some stuff forward yeah so that makes sense actually that makes sense because if you were to follow Paul's story to its climax you would have to go beyond yeah yeah watch Timothy shalam climax uh yeah so I'm assuming I don't want to say any spoilers if if there's like some book is0 years old I know I know all right well yeah but how's that work well the book ends with no I don't want to spoil it do it do it you I don't spoil If people really wanted to see this then they probably

read the book yeah well actually I don't know that that's true necessarily I think more people have seen the film than have ever read the book but I don't care I've read them so you can't spoil it for me true the book ends at a certain point and I feel I'm I'm I'm pretty sure they're going to go a bit beyond that because I mean maybe I'm wrong but I feel like that wouldn't that's not a very Movie ending the ending of the book yes but if they tacked on kind of the first part of the next book yes that almost is a good ending but also suggests a sequel as well well that's what I I thought we spoke about this a while ago that they had sort of added part of messiah in there and then there was talk that hey we we might look at actually getting

more in but sort of done at the time for this is like I'm going to get a part two and that's it so I'll get because the way the way the first book ends it's kind of a cliffhanger right or quite a big Cliffhanger and then he like pulled the rug out from Everybody by making the second book like 10 years later or something and it's like yeah all that stuff you were excited to read about well that already happened yeah that's right we're skipping all of that and um and it didn't go the way you want yeah some really [ __ ] up [ __ ] happened in the meantime yeah that's a very easy thing to do because it's of like I could see them doing that in a movie that happens in movies now where it's like here's what movie ends and then get the sort of the the end notes like here's

what happened to them later oh yeah like American Graffiti sure yeah that's all right we we can go to George Lucas at any point or like Al so you mean like it freeze frames on Timothy sham yeah on GI Across the Universe Paul Paul realized that genocide was actually the the less of several evils and uh yeah ended up going blind and a second off into the desert that's right Paul's son took over him as leader of the F and eventually took so much Malone he became a worm spoilers nothing could prepare you for that even knowing that wouldn't prepare you um who did the jump really well I think that the half disappointing but also equally as thrilling was the season two to season three jump of Battle Star Galactica oh like should we go to this

planet and it's like yeah let's go to the planet bam it's a year later all of the story lines you've been following for the past two seasons are over that's done we're not going to finish them F and and the characters you loved are [ __ ] now and now Dan's going to leave us it's like we get a little warning that he's going to drop off it's it's quite nice we know what's gonna happen now man they did do that well was and that's why yeah gas was the president Y how did you know that was going to happen I knew it was you doing something no no no no because your video goes black and we can still hear you for like a second or two and then you just go you drop off that is really weird it could be I don't know I'm just going to guess maybe touch your mouse every now and again or something could just

be now I'm touching it now oh you computer's having an app yeah maybe could be um I've got an app running that makes sure that never happens but uh it's called amphetamine oo sounds like Charlie's on it yeah um I just want to touch before we move off movies or we we can stay on movies but the um we've got a lot of movies here I watched an old horror movie not too old 10 15 years old um I'm sure you've seen Matt Luke you may have seen it too called Sinister oh yeah sin is a [ __ ] great movie yeah so I realized recently that that there's a kind of it's got Ethan Hawk in it um there's there's there's a few like Classics that I've just that I just

missed for some reason um this one's a good one Sinister is so good it is literally unnerving like it is the are terrifying yeah and also I knew I was going to love it because that opening shot which is from one of the takes is the most provocative opening shot I think in any film I can think of like amazing like a great horror film it's got old Ethan Hawk in it and I like old Ethan Ethan Hawk is he's really good in it um I think really good and it's people criticism I have not I have sorry I have no criticism of it I think it's [ __ ] great some people have like make fun of there's a couple of jump scares in it that are a bit cheap yeah but it's like come on whatever yeah yeah it's probably

made him do it yeah don't watch the sequel do not right because I've actually queued that up or do yeah yeah I figured I figured yeah yeah it's uh it's it's SOA it's not it's not it's not the first one not all super disappointing yeah so I watched yeah okay well that brings me to another movie that I watched and we we don't have to labor on this because it's not our usual our usual fair but I watched what I think is probably the best sequel I've ever seen since The Empire Strikes Back right Matt have you look you might have even but have you seen Frozen 2 I haven't even seen I don't think I have actually so Frozen 1 is a pretty damn good movie

right back in the day few years look it did which is actually I and I didn't have kids then so I never watched it didn't give a [ __ ] about it but I've watched it since with Harper and it's very good like it's it's just very good and it plays into the tropes when it needs to and then it inverts the tropes when it needs to as well like all good genre movies do um the sequel is dark and it is emotional it's [ __ ] sad I choked up at one point in it like it's like mat you know the story line of the first one right the the kids are left alone their parents die they find the Shipwreck that their parents drowned in and the whole this theme of the second one is that water has memory so

they call upon the Water because you know she can control the element so she so this leans really into Norse mythology not the kind of Viking stuff but the kind of prev viiking stuff about like nature worship and element trolls and all that stuff in it with yeah so much more of that stuff right but more like wood Sprites and stuff like that but she can control elements so she's controlling the water and sapping out the memory and they recreate the last moment in their parents' life using the water that they drowned in and it forms this kind of watery statue of them clinging to one another in fear like it's really quite hardcore and um I recommend it it's a great movie and it's it's visually beautiful but it also just is a really great example of kind of

like mid tier fantasy like with you know kind of feels historical but also magical like it's a bit tlen it's a bit like game of throny it I I just watch it as a movie like don't put it on after L's gone to bed if you want it's a good allf in it it does have allof in it course good it's so good that dance left this so we can go watch it right now the first one is good have you seen it Luke did you I haven't seen it but I know it is good I just yeah no no it's a solid um I wiggle my mouth sure you don't like Olaf no I'm just goofing I told you when um a gem I told you when I loved him in um murder on the oran Express that's a great movie I know Olaf wants to go to the

Beach yeah cuz he doesn't he just wants it to be summer cuz he doesn't know what summer is and he thinks it would be great he went and saw Coco I've probably told the story before Oh Coco is magnificent Coco is [ __ ] amazing but we went to and and so we went to see Coco at the movies and there were a lot of like Latino families there with their kids and stuff like that because they were like you know to see this yeah before Coco started there was a 40 minute long [ __ ] Frozen Olaf's Christmas adventure thing right and it got to the point where these little kids were like Mom this is the wrong movie and even I was like I was like why am I watching this yeah like it was so do that though Disney and it made me think well it made me think did they just

think maybe we should give the white people something just in case you know what I mean that's how you cut your teeth at Disney basically you you do a short that SP their properties and then they they give you a feature later Coco is so [ __ ] good though seen Coco look unbelievable no I Coco is really this is the thing like Coco I watched before I had kids yeah it's it's just a good movie yeah yeah no me I might I don't know now I've got like a younger nie and nephew again go to the afterlife to look for his dad it's all like on the day of the he goes into the Afterlife to look for his dad [ __ ] awesome and it is sad as

[ __ ] like they just they just go for it there's no happy ending wow there is no no no no there definitely a happy ending and in fact it's layers it's not just oh he finds him yay that like you find out several people happy endings that's what Mexicans do I've been to tier one oh yeah cross the line did I well I just but I know I T hand jobs are the [ __ ] line who [ __ ] if I speak then we will end up over there so I'm just gonna wait andna say Tiana yes which is the one that's near um San Diego no no no no no no there's a what's

the it's like the resort City that's chicha yeah Cancun I want to go there just just so that I can go on a day trip to chicha oh sure I thought you were going to say just so you can watch a donkey show and just sleep with drunk chicks there for spring break I don't do those things I'm a [Music] gentleman um speaking of movies did you guys watch the trailer for a movie that's coming out unfortunately I did by the name of Borderlands name name of Borderlands sure I think I already knew this was not going to be good because yes how do you take Borderlands and turn that into a

hour and a half movie like it's it's ridiculous yeah I don't know I the people have been very critical of it um primarily because they the cast it's an All-Star cast of people who aren't anything like the [ __ ] characters who just don't belong in this movie and individually they're all very good I love Kate Blanchet she's you know like and she's aru doing the best she's about the best thing in it to be honest like why is Jam Lee Curtis there yeah is not that old I no Jam Lee c is like oh I can sort of see that one that's one of one of the characters I could sort of see sure I could deal with that but the

other characters don't even like like the I mean they' got Tiny Tina in there because Tiny Tina is a big you know big character everybody loves her but she's not Tiny Tina like Kevin har not tiny enough tin not she doesn't behave like Tiny Tina you know like yeah and Kevin Hart as um God his name Roland yeah he's like the the the straight guy in the Borderlands universe and so Kevin for that yeah wow you've got blacked out again Dan There He Go you had him for a bit longer that time but yeah like that Tiny Tina um yeah and it looks like they've sort of also got rid of like CU normally it's like four main characters like you got rolands

yep um the sirens cap lch at Lilith and then there were two others but they're not there there was um what's the big big guy's name God so long and then there's the sniper yeah the R I can't remember their names but yeah they're not there and they were like the four main characters but then they sort of removed one them to throw Tiny Tina in yeah because everyone loves Tiny Tina except that's not Tiny Tina no like and yes but also on the other hand I understand like Tiny Tina is like [ __ ] chaos in a in a in a little human right so I can see why that that wouldn't work but then don't put her in it then like I I could see having it in there but you don't have to have her as the star have her as you met her yeah

she doesn't really make sense as a main character the first time you meet her is she's like this over the toop character that gives you sort of jobs and so they could have a meter use it for one part to blow something up and then you leave her yeah yeah she doesn't need to come along for the ride I mean Eli Roth yes yeah oh well I don't know what to think now it is except now el paper it's Eli Roth Tim Miller yeah oh yeah yeah yeah yeah so I think I think a few people had their fingers in this one due to probably lack of Interest slash you know scheduling whereas you know some as in something better came along so they were

like I'll get my mate to step in while I'm Eli tho evidently stopped they finished he finished shooting it in 2021 oh right right and then Tim Miller came in handled the re-shoot and it's only now just coming out I see yeah that's so funny that okay okay tiny has played by the girl from Barbie so that makes sense yeah yeah and look that's that's all fine except she just the performance in the trailer it's like well that's a different character yeah which I mean it's a movie it's a completely different thing fine I guess it's whatever but then like why is this a Borderlands adaptation then if you're not going to use the characters the same I don't know just yeah look don't I think they

thought this was a good idea put all of that aside I still don't think I would want to watch this based on the trailer it doesn't look very good it looks like my favorite quote on this was it looks like budget Guardians of the Galaxy that's yeah I will still say it they all look like that every movie looks like budget Guardians now did you see the trailer for Sam ry's new movie this week no no I think so hold on he's doing movies again he said he was done he did Doctor Str pulled him back in he's doing Doctor Strange was great

uh Remy produced oh okay so he's not the director of he's just the producer of he names all over the trailer but it's called boy kills world and it stars Bill Skarsgard who I quite like but it just looks like I saw a thumbnail of it it looks exactly like every other you know big budget Action Movie that that comes out of the cookie cutter machine yeah so that's what we get for liking them they're the ones that people go and see people go and see anything that's out like and then James gun's going to do Superman Legacy which will be different and then everyone will just copy that and that it'll be that that

become the norm yeah yeah yeah be [ __ ] I'm going with [ __ ] I don't care for Superman no I love the idea of Superman he's in my head next to Batman still my favorite hero but standing next toally literally next to him sometimes slightly above him um but uh he but they the and I thought hold that thought bye Dan bye see you no you C back for a second for just for a second or I'm still here you flash back I can hear you I can't see you we can still hear you and now he's there we

go this is annoying it is sorry listeners but I'm gonna do we blame streamyard I don't think blame for this I don't even know who to blame it's not Dan's fault he's not doing anything I mean it could be my internet but I mean maybe I don't know the funny thing is that you guys could tell before I can yeah it goes black and then anyway you were saying sorry video listeners what was I saying Superman yeah and I actually think that um TV star and film Enthusiast Henry caval was a very good Superman too he just wasn't in very good Superman movies but then again yeah the actual Superman movie neither speaking of speaking of

Zack Snider rather but it's only a couple good Superman movies movie isn't they were made a long time ago and they're not even they're not perfect either like like Christopher ree is also a very good Superman but that movie is really uneven in tone for starters there ain't no Superman in it for 40 minutes you know like for 40 minutes it's not a Superman movie and then also like you've got ree playing Clark Kent as a [ __ ] idiot even when no one's around missing elevators and all this stuff it's like well hold on I thought that was the disguise yeah no no I can I can I can understand that I can defend that he's a method actor well yeah he needs to be in that because he can't just oh some I need because someone could just walk

around the corner and he can't be so he just need you got stay in the zone yeah stay in the zone yeah the glasses are actually too tight and they're affecting his brain like act bit sunglasses and he needs the sun that's what it is oh yeah the UV [Laughter] protector um I actually watched a television show this week I watched two oh two television shows or like television shows I watched two television shows h both by the same name one the UK version and one the US version Oh okay that's always dangerous let me guess okay and the original was the UK one yes yeah well I'm sure the Americans decided to redo it and was far superior it's ghosts oh

ghosts okay don't know what that is so the uk1 a couple finds out they inherit This Old House and they go there she has need experience and she can now see the ghosts that are living there okay and each the ghosts have their own personality the only she can see and it's yeah it's it's just it's a little sick comy comedy it's not like anything serious okay all right but some of the characters are quite interesting and then there's the there's one character that sort of annoys me in the uk1 there's this like World War II Commander he's there and he's got this whole backstory that he he's he's probably gay but he's got sort of like it's not like repressed it's not yeah it is repressed and he sort of like does have feelings for another character

back there flashbacks and things like that and they handle it quite nicely and then you have the American version yeah but have got that same character but he's not from World War II he's from this um when the Constitution was signed declaration of independence when that signed and he sort of like he was just outside at the time when they were signing it and he should have been there but so it's meant to be the same essential character but he's very very camp like over the top and it's all misses that Nuance of of that and well that would be too subtle too gay yeah yeah yeah yeah subtlety is not what we want over here Luke no you need to be hand fed that right what it is yes fed

UK version I don't mind the America one I started and it's yeah did they also like quadruple the amount of episodes as well I assume the UK one was a solid six episodes and the American one was like fluctuate but yeah there was season one already had a lot more and they actually threw more characters in and would you like very long Seasons here everything's bigger in America that's right I was when I was in Australia no not even close we film it we finish Timothy that's yeah that's right yeah that's pornh hub's new slogan we get in we film it we finish uh I've be watching a TV show this week as well it's the uh same TV

show I watch literally every week and I'm shooting Dan who has now fallen off the internet again watches this TV show every week as well can you guess what it is Luke I'm gonna guess that it's Bluey so I'm is blue there are new all new episodes of Bluey no we don't need new episodes of BL because my daughter just likes to watch the same ones in fact she asks for specific episodes and then just Des just tells me the plot of them she goes I want to watch the one where there's the claw and then they get home and then the mom's the claw but then the dad's the claw and but and I'm like okay yeah I know the one magic claw I know the what he means yeah I know the one he means trying to take I want to watch Lucky's dad's rules okay yeah yep yep okay I did just read an article just

before we stopped I started recording about BL and the fact that people are a little bit upset in Australia with um smart televisions in blue because if you search Blue on smart televisions in Australia it'll pop up with streaming services first but in Australia you can just get the ABC app and watch them all free yeah right but yeah the TVs are going here you need to subscribe to this subcribe this try get pay I found that interesting H so so I'm not we're not the only ones watching Bluey Dan Luke you haven't watched any yet am I right you have done something blue related I have watch did you watch BL wait did you say you haven't watched any no so Bluey is topping the charts at the moment it's top of the neelon

ratings is that that's what we call them right basically fashioned y yep people are [ __ ] loving it h and I hav even finished the third season I'm so confused about how the seasons work I know right it just keeps like I think I think it's just it's because it takes so long to make an episode and they're so short that when they finish one they just release it rather than and say this is part of the same Series yeah I've just read here that there is still an episode which is banned here in the US dad baby in season two so now I got to make sure that I have that because I have I've obtained them uh in addition to having bed in United States as it shows Bandit the dad simulating what it's like to give birth oh yeah yeah no

this is this is this on here it's on ABC here yeah I know I've seen it I probably there's nothing controversial in this in fact nothing controversial in any of the ones they edit he it starts off by him saying oh women pregnant women have it easy you just lie around with your feet up saying oh I'm in such pain and then the mom goes oh well let's [ __ ] see about that and straps Bingo to him and says don't take this off and so he has to do everything with Bingo just strapped to him and he of course learns that it is he gives yeah then he gives birth and Pat from next door has to come in and and uh his name is Dad oh Luck's Dad yeah sorry yeah I love how in that episode pass P Jenna pointed this out the other day when they're at the party it's Lucky's dad but Lucky's not even there it's like

his little brother cuz it's the little kids yeah that's right they still call him like his dad they still call him dad I have a feeling that kids from a certain age from hence forth will call past the parcel Lu's dad's rules like I think that'll just be a thing well that's so okay for listeners who don't understand luy dad's rules so there's an episode of blue where they as far as I know that's just past the parcel that's what I was going to say I didn't know there was this new fangled version of it but they even say to him it's not the 80s Pat like apparently we've been playing it wrong what's the differ these days these days when you play past the parcel there's something in every layer right seen that you make sure you stop on every kid so everybody gets something

crying and he's trying to give them more money like in F bugs um Can anyone break a 20 but then as it goes on the kids are like the kid who wins gets a better present get such a good present that everyone else is like well maybe we should just do this the odds of getting a good present over time is better than just getting a shitty present every time yeah yeah because otherwise you just get like a little bracelet or you get whatever where is you know they get like yeah yeah the price that you get for everyone wins is not great yes it's and bingo learns Bingo learns the lesson that as long as her friends are happy she can be everyone's happy exactly and it's very not a good enough lesson banned banned no that that

episode's fine but like I said that that I didn't realize we' changed past the parcel so that everybody something and you're supposed to pay ATT I was basically I was Pat in that scenario seen it cuz yeah I remember my niece and nephew that was a thing yeah party or maybe someone else's party I don't know I have but I have had some experience with BL now yes game came out a little while ago and I I refused to buy it because I wasn't gonna spend $6 on it I wasn't gonna had $60 on it either then came out on Game Pass yeah my daughter got to enjoy it for three months before you did or whatever it was for $60 loves that game by the way she does okay yeah yeah see why I can see why it is

it's like I played it and just got all the achievements and finished it so I finished it in like two hours but I could see it is a game that kids can play that's what she comes in she goes I want to play the blue game and she just walks around does stuff like yeah she not particularly fast yep it's not hard it's very very straightforward and she likes the bit where Chad Max is you know that sequence where Chad Max is is running around you get him yeah you got to try and catch him but it's not hard to catch but it's not Al yeah it's just cuz you're not two years old Luke she can barely hold the control you understand how the controls work yeah I did um maybe use a guide to get a course she did whenever you tell us you got all the achievements we assume you did have

a guide because otherwise how would you know what the achievements even are I'm going to tell Jen of that because Jenna got all the achievements and she didn't use a guide the plants were difficult the plants went not difficult Luke you water plants and they grow no there one plant I watered and it grow and nothing happened and then I found you had to water that one particular plant eight times where everything else you just had to do twice oh no but I recommend it for people with children D yeah yeah actually I'm not on Game Pass at the moment because I wasn't playing the Xbox for a while so I thought well why am I giving him $20 a month but now that I'm playing it again I should I should start that back up my daughter the Agee now where she's

fascinated by video games and wants to play them but isn't very good at them so um like even just playing Angry Birds she wants to move it in the direction that you want it to go not twist it back you know she's like [ __ ] go and then wonders why it drops you know straight down one thing I did quite funny so you sort of run everywhere except for the stairs yes you get to the stairs and they they walk up the stairs safely and then back to running and then you can slide down the banister I was also amazed like when we first got the game when you get to so when you're in the house lra knows the layout of their house oh funny like from the sh so she'd be like I'll go upstairs I want to go see the I want to go see blue's room it's like how do you know that that's upstairs you know

CU it's a weird layout of the house the kitchen's upstairs yeah yeah too how does she know this stuff funny I mean bot of the list of things that she has contributed to the one and a half billion minutes of views that it's had in January mhm yeah oh it's it's constantly on even if she's doing something else it's on you know yeah I've told you guys we don't watch normal TV now we watch fanmade Recreations on YouTube zes Gad yet there's some that just look like those the ones with the the Peppa Pig zombie ones just look like real Peppa Pig episodes the bles ones are animated they with toys but there are zombie episodes of it and Alien episodes and Alien episodes as in I

hate yeah no they call him xenomorph and they and when they say it they look dead into the camera and go [ __ ] you Matt that's what they call um no there's one where Bandit puts blue and bingo to bed and then they hear this weird kind of crashing noise in the backyard and this red light comes into the house and he goes out and there's this flying sorer that's crashed and he looks in it and it's an it's empty but the alien has already escaped and gotten into their house and I mean this is it's done with toys by someone who doesn't really give a [ __ ] right so like it's not don't imagine something really thrilling I wouldn't describe making this on putting it on YouTube as not giving a [ __ ] yeah well that's the thing okay so H says to me why don't you do

this and my answer is why would I because she goes you could do better than this I'm like yeah I could but that's that's not what they they're looking for they're not looking for good they're just looking for it being there yes yeah they're not it doesn't have to be art it's just entertain kids I um you would make it too good and that's what would be a problem and it would take me three weeks to make one episode and it would be not not a good use of my time not a good time to profit ratio Daniel one of very few people who saw a short film I made once starring Spider-Man and uh yeah and yeah dant Dante from devil that was it it was Dante yeah and chater from hell was [ __ ] excellent yeah I don't have it anymore it's gone I know that

Not only was that [ __ ] hilariously funny but also like the lighting was beautiful you know what I mean like it it looked like a late 80s early 90s horror movie with that kind of so I spent like a whole weekend making a short film with my action figures and uh and because I had just bought a wide angle adapter for my Panasonic I real close now yeah I spent a whole weekend making this short film and uh I just wish I had a copy of it okay listeners how old do you think Matt was when he did because well in my defense the point he were thinking 25 you were correct the point was to learn some skills to then go one and do another short film that we did together human beings that that I do

have the footage of that never actually been edited technically into a film I should probably do that at some point but yes I Harrison forwarded my way into that film as well because yeah I I I just helped Matt by coming to the auditions and just being the reading partner for everyone and um eventually he was like do you want to just play it yeah like know all thees Dan's better than everybody who's auditioned you didn't ask me to audition no you I would have been amazing no you no hold on no I don't think someone L's related to his in it yeah wait it me and my ex-wife were in it yeah I was trying not to say of course of course

because I I've got that and I've got um back I used to film bands back in the day as was like a side thing me oh yeah um like found footage of I found a footage of jerk at Manson when they when they supported Manson I found that footage so oh Manson lost his uh defamation case against uh that actress who said he abused her really turns out if you did it it's not defamation yeah good leg Yeah she said I abused her did youbody about it he one of these weird things it NE it doesn't necessarily mean that I specifically told her not to tell anyone what I was doing to her no unfortunately it does it is just because he won that she won that case doesn't

necessarily mean that it's it's true because a case like that is held to a different standard than a criminal case stands with Marilyn Manson yeah I know right I don't yeah shut up victims of sexual and emotional abuse it's something that annoys me that yeah they are white men in powerful positions in America should be able to [ __ ] with whoever they want no I just stop talking held to a different standard for those types of things when yeah but I think it's yeah like him suing her back for it it's like shut up shut up yeah yeah you just don't do it to begin with it's very simple very simple not to do does even get me good music

Dina from Fear Factory used to seven stram oh yeah and then you had dret trusi from Dream Theater and then you had W Borland and Wes band in this interview was like I'm not a very good guitarist so I wasn't quite sure what to do with this thing so what I did was I just made it a six string with an extra another E string on the top and then did a bunch of funny stuff up there and then later on he started doing things like well I'll just make it a really funny extra low string or whatever like he he didn't even try and use it like a normal way he would just try and do but nor with something yeah but that's how you get these like Limp Biscuit Rifts that are like the [ __ ] is that because he was just like well I'll tune it down

to F yeah I need this extra note so I'll just make this extra string tuned to this so that I can hit it up here while I'm there yeah he underated yeah he is M came and said we'll just tune the whole guitar down to F low it'll sound like yeah is he underrated or I think he is where no he is he's very good he's a very good Guist you also very weed of like I'll unmute him can we uh I think we could oh no we can't unmute I've done it oh can't I guess the mic isn't connected yes it's it's not that I'm being muted it's that my mic is cutting out so for some reason my video is

it gets pretty heavy actually some sad Stu this the author that on Sam Harris's podcast most recently he said he won't come on my show for some reason no one and he was like the only author I've ever asked to come on who said no yeah so that was and but he said he told me he' done enough podcasts but now goes but I see no evidence of that yeah yeah well he's obviously not a subscriber to Dan Carin yeah uh so yeah Nazis Nazis and Dan Carin two of my favorite things mixed not my favorite things just two things that interest me things Dan Carin talks about and the Nazis I got to read that book everyone's talking about how good book is yeah yeah book about the Holocaust sounds I don't think I'll read it cheerful yeah

yeah um you guys like Gareth Edwards I Know Dan does I don't know if I like or not you do like him you like him very much but but well but he didn't do yeah well he did most of it and he he he did some awesome we never got to see as well but the version we got to see was good director of Godzilla director of the which godilla uh one that was I didn't like which one not the Matthew brri one no not that one he did a independent movie called Monster I think it was called or monsters which was excellent which was just two people trying to run away from a Godzilla like creature and then they were like [ __ ] it he should do Godzilla and he did and he did and

actually it was very good so he uh yeah then he did the creator most recently which was a movie that I was very excited to see because I like Gareth Edwards I like uh Greg Fraser who was the the Director of Photography he was shot all on those um Sony what are they fx30 [ __ ] whatever consumer cams I was really excited to see that beautiful movie probably going to win a bunch of VFX Awards plot was a bit [ __ ] um anyway Gareth Edwards is directing the next Jurassic Park movie Jurassic world why are they making more of that because they haven't got it right yet they've got none of the sequels right so he's been brought on at the last minute apparently oh and they've said which I thought was neat because

like I don't know I can't help it I just like Gareth Edwards for some reason um but they need somebody experienced with big Studio Productions available quickly and willing to accept less creative input as the project is far enough along that filming is starting in June they're like who can we get they'll just come in and get this done make the movie yeah Ron sound good I think this will be a very pretty movie at the least and if it's pretty dinosaurs I'll watch it I sexy dinosaurs I've seen the movies where can they go from what they've done I haven't watched the new ones so I don't know neither have I I started watching the first Chris Pratt one and I was like this is soulless this is not Jurassic Park at all Howard

what's wrong with you know the first one in the second one the Island's now being destroyed for some reason and they're trying to smoke dinosaurs off I haven't watched it I just know there's volcano from the trailer but yeah that's like there's no at all anymore because that's been destroyed and I yeah I just I don't know what it's turning into anymore yeah they don't need to make it this doesn't talk about what it's about but uh then gu dinosaurs maybe they go back to the dinosaurs home planet and there's like Space Marines fighting dinosaurs wherever they from great whatever country they're from oh that that's popular at the moment Space Marines fighting aliens I think it's been popular for a while no but hell divver yeah hell divers 2 y

it's got people talking about Starship Troopers MH we talking the other day there's people on the internet being like Oh I don't no I don't like that movie I hate fascists it's so rightwing didn't you watch to the end did it yeah yeah watch it again yeah that that character that says proud to serve my country and he's got no [ __ ] limbs like you meant to read into that stuff it was a parody you miss the point and the bugs were right yeah still stand by that I think you're probably correct I remember having to have arguments with people when that movie came out when I went the bugs were right when I saw it I I went and saw it at the movies when I was doing my um

what do they call that at school uh where I did uh I did an extra gear of year 12 so I could catch up on some subjects music and drama that I want to do I could do it at my little tiny Christian School in the middle of nowhere um pathways so I did a final year of year 12 where I literally only had music and drama and a bunch of free time so I'd literally go see movies every day what a [ __ ] year yeah yeah I'm not complaining uh so I went and saw Starship Troopers and then came back to school and we like forget your classes guys we got to go see this movie Oh I thought you were G to say join the Army no all of these [ __ ] who make fun of us just come and see this movie right yeah this is this is movie for us yeah absolutely but then all those people

went and saw it too and like yeah [ __ ] those bugs yeah that's right I know kill bugs yeah yeah it's like y yeah titties it's vov was told RoboCop was too subtle make it more in your face fine I'll make it so obvious that this is a [ __ ] parody that people no way you could and now people are like yeah [ __ ] [ __ ] the bugs yeah incredible you know where you can [ __ ] bugs where is the Afterparty Matt [ __ ] you have to or is it a choice if you don't [ __ ] them Luke
