probably with your movement he go do this now you should be filling all along here and I don't feel anything there but I can see those muscles doing something yeah but I don't feel it yeah when I went to Physio I CU I am not very Physically Active this is going to shock listeners I know and so I don't have good language for describing my body I assume it's the same as you although you've had more medical procedures L than than I ever have I don't have a good way to like convey information about how my body feels you know what I mean so like when yeah doing stretches and stuff like that and I'm like oh that hurts and he goes I shouldn't hurt and I'm like well maybe Hurt isn't the right word then I don't know yeah yeah yeah he uncomfortable

pressure yeah pain is uncomfortable so yeah but he's quite good cuz he got he does go like um like I can still moving and goes Can you feel it anywhere I go I feel it there and he goes oh yeah that's that's okay but he knows my nerves are all messed up and do what they feel like they got a mind of their own now I just got to take some drugs cuz it's painful a while we're on multiple old man Health gasm which seems to be how we start a lot of these episodes recently it'll be increasing more and more of them I assume I didn't drink any alcohol for three weeks because I had a cold and I went down a pants size oh who yeah I feel like what we already knew was true which was that it was the booze yeah yeah I've lost quite a lot of

weight from changing my diet and doing some exercise lately I reckon if I stop drinking lose even more in fact I've kind of plateaued at this point and that's probably why what I felt cuz I was exercising a fair bit and I I really wasn't eating very badly but two beers a night will will keep the belly on they do say that's too many the alcohol is I know that is what get is the big thing for me and that's why I've got the rules the rules now back in effect oh good so podcast what do you mean back in effect well he's on holiday rules good point good point good point they were still are part of the rules but I me like I haven't just slid back into off holiday and I'll just no it's my favorite part of this though was when I said I didn't drink because I was

sick and L [Music] went we like yeah that'll make you feel better no it did not man I drank once at the start and I was like yeah I can't drink when I'm sick anymore it just makes me take longer to heal right yeah and I wanted to heal it wasn't fun being sick and on holidays and parenting yeah parenting gets uh harder as they get old it turns out I'm fine in different ways in wonderful different ways every week my friend at work his his son just turned five and he was like you know everyone told me having a baby was difficult and I was like I didn't find of that difficulty he like 5-year-old very difficult yeah l wants to go to the toilet by herself now which is fine but

then it has to be cleaned up so yeah she does pretty well but you know and then she don't come in here don't come in here yeah all right upop get my uh disinfectant spray ready yeah I'm I'm happy I don't have children I would not cope well especially when they get to the why age oh why why why but then they then she'll ask why and then I give her like a really lame answer and then she'll say something really insightful like I said tday she was like this elephant in the book that's got spots and she goes why's the elephant got spots and I was like why do you have blue eyes to see you yeah yeah all right the elephant sees out of his spots then smartass just

wasn't expecting that response at all I I love it when they just bust out profound you know I mean it's not not you know it's obvious answer but you thought you were tricking her you thought it was a rhetorical question look at you Dad yes that's true yeah yeah all right so what should we we start some follow-up news because I I I'm calling [ __ ] on this followup news Well it it is a little bit misleading in a way I think maybe somebody's fallen off the uh the radar and is looking for some attention so the um what the title here is only fan star behind gamergirl bathwater say put a 90k in debt with PayPal for years so what what that implies to anyone who doesn't actually

read the article is that she lost money selling her bath water which is absolutely not true she made a packet of money but she broke the terms of service of PayPal by soliciting what they consider sex work on PayPal and so she was fined again and again and again to the total of $90,000 yeah right yeah but she made a hell of a lot more than cuz even even not making money on the bar advertised like the traffic that went to her site yeah yeah overall as a marketing scheme but even she must have felt because the individual fins were $1,500 right so if she if she let that clock up to 90k it must have been well worth it to pay all of those individual fines Yes again and again I think it is

interesting that that well I guess it depends on the context it is interesting that selling the bath water was deemed to be sex work like I given the full context of everything I guess I can see how that would happen but it is interesting that that's well the thumbnail was probably also her in the B yeah so yeah I'm going to I don't think it's actually did I actually say it was terms for sex work cuz I think it's just selling um the water itself like there's a it's contam contaminated water essentially and there's got to be sort of that would be part of things that would be my guess you're probably right she she has said in the post that she made that she thinks PayPal just don't like sex workers yeah well that's definitely true

like they just don't want to be associated with it well I mean it's like kind of like Vis and MasterCard were the only fans thing where they were like this is a problem for us because because they don't want someone saying why is my video up there I didn't consent why does MasterCard allow somebody to watch it MasterCard has put my porn on the inter and and then I think one of the big issues only had fans had was that Visa Mastercard were like how old are these people and only fans were like ah well I guess technically we don't know and then they were like that's a problem the entertainers I mean not the people purchasing yeah possibly both speaking you'd have to be 18 to have a credit card though so if you weren't you'd be is that true America I don't

know maybe not they just kind of mail them to you here and say do you want this we'll activate it yeah spend it and I don't have any money they're like that's fine we'll just sell your debt on 200 we gave people houses they couldn't afford yeah whatever you do have we'll have that so yeah she say she lost money uh yeah I would argue I would agree with you guys I think overall that's probably true yeah but um yeah cuz the second you got the first fine if you'll go oh no this is going to cost me money you'd be putting a stop to it and going hey guys sorry can't do this not let it rack up to that and yes just and it's only F models like when they're in that top like 0.1% or something they're making like hundreds

of thousand a month I just can't believe people find this attractive I'm just going on her Instagram now this is the same question for me as I find with guys who are into feet like women who dress up like little girls who look like they're from Japanese comic books I just don't get it it's not it's in no way attractive to me and that's why you're not paying her I absolutely am not paying for her photos or her bath water oh okay yeah because I mean she is pretty but like I see what you mean the costumes of very odd and I yeah not for me but she she's definitely not for me the coste I I I can't see the pretty through all the theatrics I think the other thing that it's offputting for me anyway is that I know that she's older but she makes herself look very young

and I find that a little disturbing like I don't think I could you know I mean I'd have a good go but I'm not sure you know yeah yeah you have to take some Viagra first on the way yeah no it's just a little weird but people like it clearly yeah look she's not breaking any laws except for the terms of service she did break so whatever whatever supply and demand but uh not for me no not for me no not for me speaking of not for me Scarlet Johansson um she's in the news this week I'm more likely to B SP I found this story quite interesting this so yes I agree and in fact the more

I learned about the story The more interesting it became yeah it gets quite interesting so the gist of it is chat GPT put out the new version the new was it 4 point no four or whatever it's called the new chat the the the version that really feels like you're just talking to a person right it's got a voice like uh associated with it and they they've hired somebody to voice it and it's AI voice speaks to you and people pointed out sounds a bit like scholar Johansson which is not like it's not kind of random because there's a movie called her where she's the voice of an AI right so people would make that connection pretty easily I would think and then I guess apparently what happened is she then came out and said or they

approached me to do the voice and I said no so they've obviously copied my voice and now she's in them which seems fair enough except apparently open open AI came out and said well what actually happened is we hired this this woman named Sky to be the voice of chat GPT she did the whole thing and then someone pointed out kind of sounds like the AI from that movie her and they like SC why don't we ask her if she'd come in and do it instead that could be a good marketing thing she said no they moved on um so they're saying it's a coincidence and this voice actor Sky saying well yeah they never told me to sound like her no one's ever said I sound like her like and she's submitted like voice recordings and it's

all going to court you there's possibly yeah she said you know she's never been accused of sounding like Scarlet Johansson before this yeah it's never come up yeah the only thing that I can think is that whoever whichever producer hired Sky to do the original voiceover possibly picked her voiceover sample out of hundreds of other samples because she sounded a bit like this voice from her and you not meaning to play exactly if they can prove that they had this done before they ever approached Scarlet Johansen that does kind of indicate they yeah which would be a very easy thing to show yeah Al They really did make it worse like I can understand why Scarlet Johansson thinks yeah oh they asked me

to do it I said no and there's a person doing it yeah that's well that's a bit of a coincidence isn't it but apparently it might be and I think yeah if that is the case just a coincidence they've made it worse by asking her yes well they didn't know this was going to happen presumably yeah well I don't know I think they just had a big strike about this didn't they yes yeah but I'm saying is that they weren't trying to copy her well if they weren't trying to copy her voice they would never have considered it might look bad for us if we ask it because they've just had the strike they would have just thought oh that' be cool you know what I mean like there just a bunch of nerds in theory yeah yeah if the meeting was can we afford Scarlet Johansson because if not let's get a

girl who sounds like her yeah that's a problem yeah yeah it all come out like if there's an email or anything that says like hey can you do this sound like this then they're run in trouble if just not was like the uh music that we used to use when we when I worked in TV there was you know you know this mat liaries and liaries of production music but they used to be listed as Sounder likes when they sounded like something else like they used to say this sounds like David Bowie and then and then one day that all just went away and because because people were like well mate if you want something to sounds like David Bowie David Bo and you're pay him for it yeah yeah I think it' be interesting depending on first of all whatever if they once we have all the information

and they prove one way or the other were they trying to get it to sound like her or is it a coincidence and if it's a coincidence it would be interesting to see what they decide because I guess in theory Del she could still win well that's they were talking about doing that now just to get out it just to make it go away that's what I would do just forget it cut your losses yeah I think if if they determin it was an accident and she still wins that's pretty interesting and really like it's not like jck she GPT is making money no this could cheaper just to go they are making some money I think yeah I'm not quite sure how so chat gbt makes money if you pay 10 bucks a month and also they get money from Microsoft because they've got an

agreement with Microsoft where Microsoft lets them use all their servers which is how chat GPT runs but they get all the technology which is what microsof co-pilot is jbt so I'm sure there must be some money going back and forth I also think they probably sell data I think that's so I think I think money is not an issue as such no I think there's money there but I don't think there's a they they've got like a lot of cash on hand at the moment like cash going to come later so at the moment why well it's a nonprofit I think yeah so they're not supposed to I don't think we're nonprofit as well but unofficially because we make no profit we don't make a profit yeah no it's like if you look at Facebook oh don't Facebook I know but like Facebook there was no money until

the end and then there was a lot and then there was a lot yeah so I've just noticed guys uh when when did we decide to turn our microphones on the side like this is like shooting like guns the cool guy style like this but you guys obviously didn't pass the memo on to me I um I did it because I used to to have it here and it gets in the way when I'm trying to look something up like if we're chatting and I want to search something I bump it and I [ __ ] around and it was annoying me because it's on my arm and it goes over there when I so I've got it on the stand that's over at the side now so that it's here and then I was I was like is that going to be stupid and then I noticed Luke did it and I was like well his sounds good so clearly it's fine just so you know

guys I'm not doing it that's fine you don't have to yeah you know want to be cool and get a little arm that you can just move around I had an arm I sold it too much room on my desk yeah that's right no I had one as well it was annoying this one I just literally I just take this off my desk and put it down there when I'm not using it yeah but yeah it is cool sorry yeah cool guys sty but you can't you can't uh I'm also got a cool blue light this week that I'm no like I said I feel like maybe it's too much at the moment but I'm not going to change it now if anything it's not quite enough we're 15 minutes in I'm not changing it now you need a the other side to really look like an a24 movie poster oh yeah but I think since I've

opened the blind in my room I've get the natural light in here I'm looking a lot better these days I uh I've caught a bug uh recently the bug is the uh automated lighting bug and just I put one smart globe in a lamp in the living room m and then put all spent it an entire afternoon programming all these presets when I come out at night I want it on a low blue just so that I can just see when everyone's there when I'm watching TV I want it to dim to this and and then I'm like well every room in the house has to be automated now lighting so oh I'm starting to think maybe I should set that up cuz in our downstairs I'm sure this is fascinating to

listeners um our light blobes blow all the time we go through quite a lot so I'm think get smart globes in are just always on so they don't have that on and off that maybe they'll last longer yeah maybe do you know uh when light Globes were invented like at the turn of the 20th century they were invented to just last forever but they soon realized that you don't make money selling things that you don't replace so they purposely make them with thin filaments that burn out and there are still light Globes from that time that have never been off that has Centennial like Globe yeah New York City yeah you can go and watch it and this thing has turn off once because they moved it from one premis to another but then they plugged it back in the world's longest like glob C in Livermore it was

first installed at the fire department horse cut house on El Street in 1901 and it is still going strong today they don't have to burn out they make them like that on purpose like an iPhone well the iph become useless for other reasons too though so it used to be uh no no no I mean like as in like software oh I see I thought you just I thought you were ragging on Apple for a no I mean like if you tried to put like you know modern operating systems on an old computer you wouldn't be able to do it because they just don't have oh I'll tell you what the juice I need to call out Google and I just got a new phone and my god did she get a good deal oh so she she's had a pixel 4 XL forever MH and she went finally going to get a new one so got thex Pro

H um up to eight now are they yeah eight double the size they're going to they're giving her like $350 cash back for trading in a phone oh yeah and then also gave her $500 Google credit that's right Google credit so she ended up getting the phone for like this $1,700 phone for like 900 bucks it's what can you spend Google credit on what can what can you buy on Google um she brought me she brought me and her sister headphones like pixel headphones she brought a case like you can buy go go Google products you use it on use on the Play Store and stuff I guess too that right and like oh okay now you're talking buy some movies or sort of ridiculous that's interesting I've never bought anything from Google as far as I know I used to when because you know you've got Movies Anywhere now

so you buy a movie on one platform it kind of goes on all the others I think that's depending on presumably sure yeah yeah no you sign up for movies anywhere you can link all your real thing is it yeah oh yeah yeah it works pretty well um not all Studios do it but a lot of them do so like basically if you you buy a movie on the Xbox store you also get it on iTunes and on Google and everywhere everywhere else you just you know you done that no I think this is only an American thing I think it's an all right well it's [ __ ] great um so what I used to do is just find out where it was the cheapest and buy it there so I bought stuff on Google yeah because then you just get it on all the other platforms anyway so yeah cuz remember when Blu-ray came out and they started

giving you a digital code as well I like okay that makes sense cuz I don't always want to pop this in yeah well those now as well if I if I redeem one of those I get it on everything having to make a choice it's only open to us residence 13 plus which is sort of annoying and this is something I was wondering recently you know how there's things now like if I buy something on the store and they go where now don't have that anymore you lose it when they get that license back again do you get it back again I bet not if they can question but I'm sure you don't yeah I'm sure you don't but I think that's there's no money in that out of the kindness of their hearts I'll drive it around to your house hey just let you know you can pop

that pop back on Clerk's 2 again that's happening more and more I see so many videos of people now talking about like get a [ __ ] server and set up Plex in your house and start buying Blu-rays and ripping them cuz it's the only way you're going to keep these movies like they will take them from you yeah they will yeah I must say it's not that that that contributes but man I I I've miss my DVD collection I miss being able to just look at my DVDs and go oh and I watch that that existed but here I am looking at it no I think that they need to do something they need to change the name of buying it yeah longterm rental and shortterm rentals you rent it and then you buy it but you don't actually buy it you're still renting it so I think they really

need to change the name of it because I think that's I think that's what really upset because but when you buy something you you think you're buying it yeah I do think now more when we were we we when when digital stuff first came in and I I'm aware that a DVD is digital but you know what I mean and when digital files first started being sold we were very skeptical for this exact reason because we all said no I'm keeping my DVDs I'm keeping my CDs and then had an article on the website when mul did that about this we were very con digital down and then eventually that's just how everything games in particular I think we were super negative about buying digital games yeah oh and actually we're about to see that was like the go the Xbox 360 store you now I'm

playing an Xbox 360 game at the moment that I wouldn't mind mentioning um by the way [ __ ] it's nice playing Xbox 360 games on the Xbox series X they load so [ __ ] quick oh man I play Smooth cuz I playing Xbox 360 games at the moment on an Xbox 360 and my God it is slow yeah is that you have to do have the achievements is that yeah yeah what game are you playing I'm playing Fallout New Vegas and there's a reason I'm playing yeah yeah well there's two reasons so number one I've watched more of Fallout I watched four episodes the other day and it's finally good you guys were right it's finally good so uh the storyline that you guys flagged like last week the the brother looking out for the vault mystery it's good that's cool more of that please um

I'm finally starting to empathize with you know the sexy ghoul that everyone was going on about and I was like I don't I don't get it um you really get it at the end what a threat you know what I mean I do know what you mean um so yeah so I I I was I finally came around but then I was like well now I want to play a Fallout game but I don't want to play Fallout 4 because it's [ __ ] massive and I don't want to play Fallout 3 because I don't want to spend a year in the [ __ ] sewer again I've done that too many times and then I was play in your bedroom down well there was New Vegas which didn't have any of that stuff and was just a great Fallout came best ones it really is so I am loving this and uh I I've forgotten most of it everything is like a hazy memory which I

think is actually the best way to play games because when you go in blind you [ __ ] at them and you don't have any fun uh so I I can do it I'm good at it right from the start but I forget what's going to happen so it's really good and it's on Game Pass so you play it for free I need to do it because I never finished it I got up to the point where I was playing all the three factions against each other and then it got up to the point of you now need to decide what you're going to do and I you I can't a decision I'm not going to make that decision turn it off let come and get me yeah I finished it but I definitely could do a different to different playr like as you could make it'll be different anyway it's nearly the same yeah true yeah I should play through

that again I've been playing something else but we'll get to that the tone of it is so good it's just really good yeah yeah obsidian obsidian were just great please give give some give obsidian let them do it letse play they asked about apparently they said we would like to do the same thing for Fallout four and Bethesda said n y it's like all right which I think Beth I think are now starting to regret that because you when's the next Fallout game really going to come like the next game that they're releasing is Elder Scrolls that's not coming out for like four more years so when're not looking at a for that game for 10 years like the I think they thought Starfield was going to be more of a yeah hit than it was yeah I

thought they were going to they thought we were going to say I'm never playing any other game but Starfield I now live in Starfield but there's nothing to do in Starfield it very big empty game I think they thought all those awards that went to Boulders Gate 3 were going to be coming their way I I think they honestly just thought that look at Boulders gate eventually with Starfield I I think I'm am interested to go back soon I'm going to wait till the DLC to come out but I know they're releasing a lot of stuff which is adding a lot of stuff like they're adding yeah I temped I wait until it was all out before I went back don't go back in just on day one of the uh of the patch right no I'm waiting for more content as well but I know that with the patches and stuff

they are releasing extra stuff as well but I'm waiting for more story right okay speaking of which Speaking of extra stuff and story let's just let's just back this up a sec Matt you finished a game this week I did and it took me 10 15 years when did that come out 2010 20 [ __ ] 14 years I finished Alan Wake started it in 2010 I don't know why I had to think about that cuz you literally just told me to started it in 2010 finished it in 2024 I was there I was there when you started it we in 2010 what did you think cuz you finally got to the end I honestly I assume you think exactly what everyone else thinks was that it was a great experience but a garbage game yeah yeah no I mean look the I played the remastered version and I don't I mean I don't remember I don't

remember exactly why I stopped playing the first time I do I told I've said this before when I got to the bit where I stopped boring and tedious well I it was the there was a bit with the tractor and I just got the shits and then just never early on man that is early on right and but this time I didn't have any trouble with that probably as Luke pointed out cuz I'm playing it on easy whereas 14 years ago I wouldn't have done that I would have been a massoch about it like no [ __ ] the [ __ ] you a manual transmission car and I play all games on Nightmare Mod I did I did yeah is all about me that's [ __ ] annoying um yeah uh I loved it yeah it's great yep yeah great story uh like super weird

but in a good way um because it's very odd but it's just takes itself so seriously that you're like yeah and the weirdness goes so deep too because just when you think oh yeah I I get this writing stories and the stories are happening but you're like nah no it's way weirder than that super weird yeah who's Thomas Zayn where's the [ __ ] cabin what's going on yeah who wrote who into existence Lake it's an ocean no it was good um the combat I was about to say it but I can't the combat it wouldn't make any sense to him anyway the combat is like eh um but it's not as bad as I remember but I think because because I had her on easy probably yeah I never got like I died a couple times but I never got like proper

[Music] I was going to go try and see if you had play but I think you play Dan I think you played on a different account because I remember you reset your Xbox I did at one stage but that would have been my original playthrough but I played this like three months ago oh the remaster the remaster I looking on the orig the remaster they're on there it it I'll say this though they don't make it obvious that they're there I like I know they're there because I've been looking for them mate because Jenna told me oh you're going to have to play the dlc's as well and I was like oh okay I looked it up that's how I know but but I mean it's not when you finish the game it just dumps you back to the main menu

doesn't say no I'll play the rest of it like episodes yeah I find out I can I can do this CH your difficulty and then see oh my God yeah look but they're not no no and in fact one thing that's good is that people complained that they were short and I was like good cuz I want to know fine and I want to know what happens in them just so I'm all caught up and everything and then yeah it's not like you're s going to be sitting down for another like 10 hours or anything you can knock I said you can knock both of them out in in one evening then not I when when you said that I meant to comment back and say I think maybe your gaming sessions are a little different to Dan in my gaming sessions these days I was going to say that too I was

going to say one evening what what do you think is happen [ __ ] I going have a whole evening to do that yeah yeah yeah took me took me 14 years to finish the game look no but that's real time because number two takes place 13 years after number one and the reason got wait until I'm in my 60s I remember with Tomb Raider late 50s play both back to back thanks D great Tomb Raider I think when you played through Tomb Raider you like the first one then you played the second one sort of straight away oh yeah it's too much it's too much it's the same thing I went back and finished the second one it's still good good game but yeah when you do the I've only done the second but there's a third too well I finished the second one and then I started the third one immediately and

then I I've that halfway through so you need that break in between games like you also can't do two U Assassin's Creeds back to back either because just like you you need a a pallet cleanser CU they're not the same but they are very similar yes yeah so yeah I will I'll play something else I've got um what have I got queued up a few things well um what just came out that I'm looking forward to playing sen 2 I gotta play the first one oh yeah I play the first one but the first one is very good I started the first I got to the I don't think I finished it either and it was cool yeah it's pretty tricky yeah it was good games and if you do go with it I recommend playing with headphones oh yeah no no I did that too because I love the little voices

yeah I gotta play that yeah yeah it was very good so that just I've got it installed but I haven't started playing it yet but I am really looking forward to that so we only get to play it once this time the first one had Xbox achievements and then Xbox Windows achievements so you could stack they don't have he only gets to play it once you can play it as many times as you want Luke I you only want to play it once I can't waste time playing a game if I'm not getting achievements like I'm I've started playing Watch Dogs again H watch game cuz I'm playing on the Xbox 360 version right oh God I'm trying to I think I did play Watch Dogs on 360 that or maybe watch one of the ones that came

out on Xbox 360 and Xbox One at the same time or was that probably not actually I was an early adoped with Xbox one it was one of the few that I bought like week one I got one as a Christmas present from my boss couldn't believe that that's right yeah what a legend you basically got a choice or Xbox oh I know it wasn't just me everybody in the office yeah no that was yeah no no he was a champ you should have said PlayStation because you shout out Chris if he still listens he he used to listen to this I don't know if he still does but shout out to Chris Chris where's my [ __ ] Xbox yeah I'd like one I need a new Xbox you don't I want a new Xbox how many do you have uh two no I've got two Xbox series X

two Xbox Ones I gave my Xbox One X to my sister and I've only got one Xbox 360 which scares me cuz well no I've always liked to have backup consoles cuz with especially with the 360 I I own more than 1 360 not at the same time but I mean this was back when a console could just [ __ ] die die and I if it dies I don't know but can I buy how much does the Xbox 360 to buy these days you'll probably find that it's still in The Sweet Spot of being just new enough to be too old to have yeah gone up what I can't [ __ ] speak I've probably got $89 that's fine what did I do with mine I think mine got red ringed and I don't think I just got rid of my first one got red ringed I bought a new one we might have one downstairs

but I don't know how I would get it to you Luke CU it would also be Australian too oh yeah I was going to say not like I've ever used it here this one for 63 on special try occasion not opening that's fine we have a box for one downstairs I'm sure there's probably one in there it's amongst the stuff we ship over from Australia and then just put in the basement Yeah well yeah mean you got to be careful plugging those things in right yeah I bought all new power adapters for for like the Wii U and the Xbox Ones when we moved I went to GameStop and bought new par adaps for him I looked into into buying a suddenly for some dumb reason decided that I wanted to own an omga cd32 you know the console that Amiga did right before

Commodore went back think plenty of dumb reasons to own one of them yeah but I was like I was like I could get one I bet I could find one and then like I could just collect games for it you know forget about everything else just get all my no there so it's like $6,000 to buy a proper working one need to pick something more generic yeah like I I would love to get like a the remember the SEC Mega Drive Mega CD love get one of them I'm just having a look they're starting at like 700 bars actually that's not too bad it's not too bad but but it's still it's still a lot of money for a 25y old console Mega CD was so good it was basically the same Graphics as Mega Drive but with Better Sound have digital

music that's I missed sea just really screwed themselves over they released many consoles they went like the 32x the mega CD and all this stuff and then the Sega satin released like 12 games and then just moved onam released the Dreamcast was like the greatest console ever and because they just burnt so many people yeah because it was better than the PlayStation 2 so I've heard Dave had one but yeah it's the only one I've ever played was Dave's h yeah I I had one and then the drive broke I still got it here I should try and fix it the graphics [ __ ] blew me away at that time I was like this is [ __ ] beautiful St Virtual Fighter yeah that was my favorite game on that console and the thing about it if you were to get

one now the they didn't really have a great uh it was very easy to Pirate games on the and no one's copy it no no one's doing like dakes and retro ports stuff for that system you know in the same way as like people still code games for the Commodore 64 you know you can get brand new games for the com no Dre Nintendo system too saw a bunch of them at packs he does it in notepad I was like I saw you're a [ __ ] masochist yeah that's right I saw uh just advertise you know I mean I get always advertised these like generic consoles a thousand games you know that that kind of doesn't interest me whatever but there was one that's just got slots for all cartridges

oh SN Genesis and must be Master System it's just got four plug anything into it but you've got to have the cartridge you got to have the cartri problem is the cartridge is now worth so much money yeah Jo I noticed um I was looking at the the kesla raffle the per FRC was was doing and a million dollars off of that CU I was like how would you give away a car worth hundred grand and I'm like oh because they're $5 tickets and everyone's going to buy one yeah yeah yeah well yeah hopefully he does a right out of it and hopefully I win or you win one hopefully one well I decided not to do it because I realized it's it's going to be left-handed Drive oh that's true and like cuz he said he'll ship it anywhere in the world which also just

proves how much money just give him my address that's fine but the the cost of of converting that if that's even a sure would would just be no you can drive left-handed cars here you yeah I've seen those before but I noticed when I was looking at no way I'm going to be able to figure that [ __ ] out I went back to look at it just to say how long is there to go on this and it's end of next month and then I noticed he has other Raffles and I was like oh what else is he raffling off and one of them was SP night with my wife he did that video about the the Retro computer that he helped design I forget the name of it he's raffling off the Prototype of that oh wow so I bought a couple of tickets for that too I was

like that be also he's raffling off the 400 prototype yeah lot of these I won't even look at the non prototype of that I'm not I'm not interested in the Atari 400 it's just it doesn't do it for me I mean if you had one maybe well like as he did he's very passionate about that particular machine I got the Oma mini the day it came out the 641 and the Oma 5001 I'm happy they're great yeah exactly um if you want to buy a piece of retro Tech I think you could probably get a pretty cheap Spotify car thing in the next couple of months what's a Spotify car thing this is a device that Spotify released that you can attach to your car and play Spotify in your

car uh and I mean how do you attach it well it it Clips onto the vent right and then you it's like a third party Apple what do they call it carplay thing yeah yeah except for just Spotify well and the thing is the cars now either have carplay as you mentioned or Android auto or they have their own thing like the Teslas have their own thing and most of those can play Spotify I think I think this is more for old cards if you if you have a car more than 10 years old it's not going to have any of that well I mean this thing has clearly not been that successful because they've it was $90 uh it's been on sale since 2024 sorry 2022 and uh they're saying it was quite nice but they've just pulled the plug on

it as of December 9th 2024 the car thing will be discontinued and will stop operating so if you bought one literally pulling the plug throw it in the trash I guess because I'm assuming this thing must use a data connection to so it'll self-destruct to do it thing and they're just going to shut it all down so we're on sale February 2022 so it's not even look I might have considered this when I had the mini I had a 2014 mini Countryman and it was a beautiful car and I just like it's got that cool retro interior and everything with the steampunk dials and stuff but it didn't have an LCD screen like it was just on the cusp of when they became standard and uh I looked at getting one fitted and it was going to cost me five grand

to get one to get the radio removed and and the screen in like our car doesn't have so 90 bucks for a Spotify thing ofama jig or whatever it's called I spent um 1,500 bucks on the the system that was in my Pulsar back in the day Pioneer strip thing it's got the screen but the screen doesn't really do anything you but but we've got Bluetooth and the Bluetooth doesn't everything but I could this I think this car thing was about 10 years too late yes yeah yeah I just think it's funny but I mean at least they're honest that they're just saying throw it in the oh no dispose it responsibly we are not offering any refunds we are not offering anything

we're cutting losses we going to me sorry about that it's trash now it's just rare for a company to be that blatant about it yeah yeah don't come complaining to me the phone like normally they'll make some promise that they'll then not follow up on and then people complain but was this an actual Spotify product or is this a third party no Spotify product so it's it's not like someone's going bankrupt and you like good luck getting in touch with them like I think I'm not 100% sure but it sounds like you could bump up your subscription to get it or it was $90 and uh yeah I don't know I think it's just a thing where they just went like we're not making money off this we're losing money and yeah I can't imagine it would be that popular to be honest no

like even like 10 years ago a lot of cars were starting to come out with Bluetooth at least and that's all you need if you had a mount for your iPhone you could essentially have carplay you just had to keep touching your iPhone screen not yeah yeah a third screen in your car I plug my phone into my car and it comes up on the screen and then I I like for a while I was like plugging it in is inconvenient a little bit it would be better if I could just keep it in my pocket and use it and you can get little adapters that do that and so I had one of those for a while but there the adapter's a bit flaky so I just plug it in but like that's that inconvenience of that half a second yeah it's just not

worth it for the the screen get screen because it charges as well yep right yeah yeah so I I just automate most cars clip in when I get out of my car my [ __ ] screen says don't forget your phone yeah but most cars don't need the cable now even right I've got to plug mine in most people with new like Jenna doesn't need a cable for hers I don't think yeah right right it just automatically Bluetooth does it yeah so well I got blown away when I had my brother's um uh Camry here for a little while which is which is a [ __ ] beautiful car um but it has keyless like keyless entry and keyless you got the key in your pocket unlock when you step yeah J does that and you can just press the ignition button yeah and just cuz you've got the key on you yeah cuz sometimes if if

we're somewhere and she like if I got to drop her off somewhere and she gets out and she's still got the key in a pocket and I'll go to the car will go he's on the car it's like [ __ ] I said something before I got down the road and it just shut off just stops oh yes [Music] right I don't know I I have a scooter I don't have anything fancy like that do you listen to music when you scoot I do like a headphones y you have a helmet with built-in no I used to I had my helmet and I had stuff and then now I Ed my pixel earbuds they're same is that not that they could tell you were doing it but is that are you allowed to do that yeah I wondered I'm not entirely sure cuz you're not allowed headphones while driving a car I know that I got

pulled over here like literally just up the road cuz um I had my airpods in and it was literally because I'd gone to just a park up the road there to walk my dog and I was 5 minutes away and I was listening to a podcast and I was like a [ __ ] I'll just keep listening to my headphones I'm not going to bother yeah and a cop pulled me over he was very polite about it but he said oh you can't drive with those in and I was like oh I'm sorry I didn't know and then he took my license stuff went back to presumably get me give me a ticket must have done some research while he was there came back and he goes actually um sorry I think maybe you're allowed to have one in did you have them both in I didn't really see guys you know what don't worry about it you guys yeah let's

just assume we both know now and have a nice day yeah of that's good mate because I'm a sovereign citizen I was going to give you a whole spiel about yeah well I think I wouldn't have lied to if he'd said you have both then I would have said yeah I did like I'm not but I also think those the like e iPods or whatever they are the pixel like they're getting to stage where if you don't have noes canceling you can still hear stuff oh yeah the ambient Mode's good yeah so it's not a bad thing anymore and I don't know about because I can buy I just tried to look up can I wear like headphones or riding motorcycle and it's all I got was ads for putting getting headphones you get helmets with it built in like we were talking about I don't think it's helmets

with a two-way so that you can chat with the person clinging to the back so I don't think it is illegal it's probably just one of the things of like don't listen to stuff too loud because yeah and it's fine too because people have music in their car so loud they can't hear anything anyway like how is that different and then also since I've been here they changed the law so that you know allow to hold your phone and drive like could talk on your phone and then cuz remember people were mad about I can't fing talk on our phones and I was like wait we were allowed to do that yeah yeah yeah all to do that in Australia for 30 years death trap yeah like not even like we weren't allowed to do it like it well before smartphones I'm who ever allowed to do

it like they got they jumped on that real quick they're like no no no people will [ __ ] die if we allow that you need both hands to operate a car and you need to be paying attention I watched some people be talking and putting on their makeup at the same time yes and then what are you driving with what no hands and you don't forget eating cereal as well like Dennis and masturbating um I watched Seinfeld watched the finale yesterday oh yes I didn't start at the beginning I started where I felt I hadn't really seen no of of it's not like I watched 10 seasons yeah started halfway through the final episode I've seen the start of this yeah yeah that's right um it is strange it's a strange it's strange episode uh no nobody liked

it it had complaints but uh but it's kind of the only way it could have ended really because the the characters had become so unlikable like in a funny way but they become so sociopathically selfish that calling them out on it was the only way this show could have could been watching it again I was just down before we came up to record I was watching it with her and we're just sort of watching an episode and there was a guy um new abominal pool and knocked out a guy and then Jerry and Newman are there like someone's going to give mouth to mouth and there they won't do it because it's gay you do it yeah yeah no you you and then exactly the story goes yeah like they start making fun of that too like they start like somebody's like oh J you must be so upset he's like not

really you know like they just they acknowledge that no one has any feelings andf every week yeah that's right the end of end of a whole season is that episode and then the start of the next one he just he doesn't give a [ __ ] anymore and then but there's one where Jerry goes oh got your girlfriend and they're like how long you been dating her he's like since the last one you want to meet her and they're like no thanks no but uh there's this one episode in fact it's last it is the finale where Elaine has to call someone to check on their health and she goes to use her mobile and Jerry's like that's a social F part you can't use a mobile phone for an important call I was like oh that's so funny that like in the late 90s there

were like mobile phones were so bad you know so notoriously back in the '90s talking to mobile wasn't a fun time yeah like they weren't great connections back then yeah yeah my Nokia 5110 was great my 3210 was great I loved that phone I dropped that phone from the from a ladder I was rigging lights in a theater down onto a concrete floor and it didn't even get a scratch on it like it it was they did not make it invulnerable like light clothes um I made me think you know bad people finale I wonder how It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia will end when it eventually does because it's articles they all couple years it's going to happen they know how it's going to end I've read an

article E Street do you remember this the show men that the other week yeah everyone just dies I up yeah you know that Danny Devo has come out and said he's looking forward to to filming is it 15 16 that they're yeah 15 film now 15 might be 16 because he's come out and said that he feels that the first 15 series were a little tame yes and he really thinks they can start oh they're going to resurrect that April Fool's Day script they sent him where Frank Frank they they sent uh listeners they were asked in ama if they ever asked any too to do something in the show and he said no that he wouldn't do it yeah yeah and then they said they

sent him a script as a joke like April Fool's joke and in the script Frank is um Danny deo's character I think rap raped by gets raped by a gang or something and then he goes to the cops and they rape him and put him in jail and then in jail he gets raped by the inmates and then he goes to the guards and they rap him and it just goes on and on and then and then he must have had so much fun riding that fake SC and they said he called him and he goes guys I don't know about this one oh guys it's funny if he didn't say anything yeah they're actually filming season 17 17 wow 16 was the last one that came out last year M I think I watched 16 in a day like I watch SE last season was the one with Dennis takes a mental health

day that was a good episode where he goes to buy the bubble bubble TV doesn't want the the the what do you call the pearls yeah I can see the pearls over there just don't put them in the drink a the computer doesn't let me do that of course it doesn't doesn't he have a Tesla or something something in that episode 2 yes but he loses the oh his phone goes flat because that's a true story that happened to him he said it on the podcast his phone went dead and he couldn't unlock his Tesla and he was like what the [ __ ] do I do now this is [ __ ] useless yeah yeah interesting but yeah so we get we get season 17 I think this year that will be coming out first episode Charlie keeps getting caught using the end mom yeah like yes it's called The Gang gets racist

that's the name of the first very first one when everyone was kind of a totally different character and they don't pick up on the fact that he's gay because he's black like that's the whole joke in that first episode is it's they they turn it into a gay bar but they're all too busy worrying about trying not to be racist yeah yeah great show there's an episode of Seinfeld where Elaine starts dating someone that they suspect might be black and they they keep trying to figure it out but anytime anyone starts talking to him George is like we shouldn't be talking about this is an episode season 4 of sunny or whatever where the D dates the the comedian and they're like yeah oh the yeah yeah oh no the guy from class or something I think it's think the episode

is called D dat a [ __ ] person or something yeah and then there's that whole Sur that episod is it Carla or whatever her name is where yeah the he starts dating the the transexual yeah yep that's in the pilot the unaired pilot if you watch that which is 10% very funny and 90% just 3 20 year olds filming their own show um but that bit where he wants to date this beautiful woman but he's conflicted because she's got a dick yeah I know that they got they've removed the um the Lethal Weapon episodes for the black face and that everything blackace is the one thing yeah some of those like cuz I think in one of them there's a bit where cuz Mac ends up dating kmen kmen is the yeah

that's it and um and she's like oh you ashamed of me cuz I'm trans he goes no I'm just not ashamed of you I'm just disgusted in myself but that's the thing that's how they not get away with it but it's cuz they're the joke like it's always them they're the terrible people they're the they're not punching down they're punching themselves in the face yeah that's right like yeah yeah yeah season 3 episode 9 sweet D dating a [ __ ] person there you go and yeah he's a comedian but he's apparently he's not like oh he's a rapper sorry not a comedian well I can't remember he your yeah right you just reminded me just by using the word [ __ ] which doesn't get said Much Anymore um when I used

Craig Mason's podcast when Craig Mason had a podcast before he was famous to have a podcast yeah um it was called Script notes and he had he written he had written uh the that still exists I just don't know if he's H it as much oh right yeah maybe and they probably don't do it as often now but he'd written the hang over so he was you know he had Hollywood clout but he hadn't gotten his [ __ ] Emmys for Chernobyl and last of us yet but uh and done his guest stints on uh Mythic Quest yeah but he was talking about they they had a guest they had a um subtitler on as a guest once and he was like how do you explain like visual gags and stuff and he was kind of telling them how how

they they phrase things and he's like what about he's like he's like in The Hangover one guy always pronounces [ __ ] as [ __ ] I think he might be a [ __ ] and like that's kind of the joke is that he doesn't even know how to say [ __ ] cuz he's so stupid um like he's like did you like hyphenate it he's like no I just wrote [ __ ] so it just wasn't if you if you were de watching just wasn't a joke yeah have we heard about the next season of Mythic Quest oh no no that's I halfway through season 3 I didn't season 3 was not good painfully unfunny no because they [ __ ] up and like yeah iron and Poppy left eles out yeah yeah I I don't know why they did that like I

know why they did that is because somewhere along the line he got into his head that other characters were more interesting than them and he was wrong yeah yeah because they focused on the the testers too much and that I mean they're great characters but they're not like they're great supporting characters they're not good you need poy and iron to be the show yeah it was like by season 3 of um uh 30 Rock where they worked out that they could pretty much just have Liz and Jack and that's the show like as long as they've got a problem that they have to solve together yeah it's yeah it's like I don't know why they like the whole cast works well together and you've just taken two of the main characters and separated them

from everybody else for like so I'm hoping that now reason and then they had to put them in the same building so that they could still interact cuz they real they must have realized characters never coming back oh yeah good point so so hopefully in season 4 they sort of worked out that we did that wrong let's just cuz they did at the end they did bring everything back together didn't they that we're coming back yes I think I think when I met were do chickens also awardwinning that episode where the reading the it was [ __ ] hilarious even though his presence was felt even though he was obviously not in it cuz he was you know touching people yeah or talking about touching people whatever

whatever he was doing he actually touched anyone he offended people do you know I just thought I like did he actually die or did they just kill his character I wondered that too no Abraham still alive yeah I think he's alive I I will find out for you cuz I I I do research live a my Mythic Quest on he's alive I yeah I didn't think he died yeah but the first article if you just Google F Mari Abraham the first article that comes up is f m Abraham kicked off Mythic quiz for sexual misconduct but I think to be clear I think it was bad jokes I that made everyone uncomfortable I don't think he actually I when I said it's a shame I didn't mean it's a shame they fir him for I mean it's a shame that he was

doing that to be and and it wasn't like he did one joke and now you got to go it was set you down understand I'm sure we said this at the time but if you're on a [ __ ] show with Rob melin and you're making jokes that are making people uncomfortable there's something wrong right that should be an environment where you can safely make a little bit bit of a so I don't know what the [ __ ] he was talking about but also like if I was at work or maybe he was just bad at it yeah maybe he was trying to trying to be Ed imagine imagine you at work we're all comedians imagine you were at work and somebody came and said I'm a comedian the jokes you're making are literally offending people and we're going to write a little little note for

the file and and we're using the phrase sexual misconduct just so that you know maybe don't do it anymore you would go home and be like honey I don't think I can show my [ __ ] face there anymore I would be I've been offending people yeah and yet that that would be the last time I tried to make a joke i' be be so straight from them I don't think I could stop making jokes but I would be very careful I would be very wholesome after that but he he went n going to keep doing it unfortunately he is from from that generation of actors and there's a whole bunch of them now and we loved and admired them for decades and decades who just used to be able to do that it just used to be okay that was Hollywood to just be and I must say it wasn't just Hollywood because I

remember when I first got my my first job out of high school and like we used to talk to each other in high school like pretty filthy right like anything goes kind of conversations but I knew that was just kind of locker room talk friends when I had my first J at theen Multiplex ripping [ __ ] tickets as an usher the the way the men would speak to the women there grown adult men with a job speaking to women at work even I was shocked I was like I thought that was the kind of stuff you could only say to your best friends and when no one was around because we and I it's not an excuse we used to make jokes about stuff like ironically right because and it's not an excuse for anything like that but like honestly it just to see people doing it like really doing it was just like

wait that's a joke right like no one actually thinks that which is why I think it's a hard thing to go oh it's just a joke yeah no no no I understand that now in a way that I never did as as when I was younger I do understand that nower I mean five years ago and back yeah yeah people go oh just a joke and they don't see what the thing is but no people don't take that as joke people actually believe this [ __ ] qu said that to me the first time she listened to this podcast she's like you know your podcast is horribly offensive and I'm like no it's all done with irony and she's like yeah the three of you know that but people listening don't necessarily know that we got uh I sent you Dan we got a little bit of a warning about last week's
