high five a I kid I looked at my wife and she was like I don't know she still on her training Chopsticks um it depends yeah so she's got the chopsticks with the hinge M um they only I mean they don't grip you still have to do it the only benefit they have is you can't drop one you either both neither um but she'll just grab M Chopsticks and just use them kind of like pliers yeah you without without a correct hand position but good enough to eat with so she's probably using it done better than I was at the age of 20 yeah I mean it's certainly is taking her less time to learn the technique than it did with me yeah and you know once a month at the at the Sue's Garden

chines restaurant inton they know they just come up to and they they don't even put chopsticks down for us put the [ __ ] down yeah yeah speaking of sushi I watched a great video on YouTube the other day it was a guy uh like a like I guess a Japanese American guy who went over to Japan and he tried to find American sushi in you know like californ like a California Ro yeah exactly exactly in Japan and he said he could it this in Tokyo I think and and he said he found one place and he so he he arranged this to do this video he arranged to find this this old traditional sushi Shi this old Japanese man and he went he bought this American style Sushi from a kind of younger style restaurant and took it to this guy and said we just want you to try it and tell

us what you think and then the guy he was like oh okay like in Japanese obviously but it was subtitle they were joking around with him and stuff like that it was it was just so good cuz the guy was like just looking at California we're they said um they kept get they said I'll give it a rating out of 10 and he was giving him all seven and eight and then but you could you could tell by his face and they were like you don't have to be nice he's like I'm sorry this is not Sushi yeah we got he was like this gu mayonnaise why is the mayonnaise on there and then they said to they said oh in America we put cuz and there was like a big ball of Wasabi and he was like why is this why is this here and um and they were like oh in America we um dip this put the Wasabi in the soy sauce mix it

all up and then you dip the whole thing in it and the guy was like [ __ ] yeah why do you do that oh really he said no no they put the Wasabi goes inside under the fish between the fish and the rice sometimes if you go to a really authentic place here they they do it like that yeah and the he says no he goes no I season the rice you put the sace fish the soy sauce goes on the fish and that's it yeah you don't need to be dipping yeah like when I first went to Singapore I was like I'm going to have so much Singapore noodles when I'm here doesn't exist that's an Australian invention yeah you just have to ask they do have is Singapore slings though they do have Singapore slings but only at the Western places at the the Raffles hotel and yeah

yeah here in America u a very famous dish is the um the bloomen onion have you heard of this oh oh yes yeah I have heard of a Bloomin Onion yeah you get it at the Outback Steakhouse and I guess they think that's what Australians eat that's austral yeah it's like you cut an onion into a shape of a flour and then you fry it right yeah but but you you break off little bits is that how you eat it yeah you pick up a little bit you know how I thought that cuz was one on the boys the other day you can have one at the Outback steakouse yeah yes here oh I see what you're saying I think you can but I think they're just C American an American chain in Australia that's irony isn't it

yeah um Matt I want you to do something okay I want you to apologize to Kathleen Kennedy I do I have to a formal apology I have to issue a formal apology to Kathleen Kennedy to you guys and to the listeners to any listeners anybody out there who watched or listened to this show and based on what I said if if if you listen to what I said and you decided not to watch the acolyte I'm sorry I was wrong I watched it and it's [ __ ] great yeah it's pretty good isn't it I've only watched one episode I watched just the first episode but I could tell in five minutes I was like this is more Star Wars than any of them even epode three which they

say is the worst I what are you talking about Luke how long does that that witch ritual last in terms of the episode because from from what I hear on the Internet it's just wall to--all witches chanting we are lesbians we are Les seconds it's 5 Seconds yeah it's Camp is weird it's 5 Seconds get over it yeah like yeah yeah you know what's Campion weird see 3io and everything he does right this is not new I put high camp I was you know as as I've said I've been doing I'm the treadmill I'll pop something on and I was like I got to watch this thing I've I've talked so much [ __ ] about it based on what everyone else is saying I've got to see it for myself I've got to watch the train wreck right so I put it on and like like as I start watching it and I'm like I'm like this is this is quite good

actually yeah am I watching what it's it's like a get F film yeah yeah you know what it reminded me of it reminds me of a Star Wars role playing campaign of sorts mhm sure it feels like Star Wars but it's it's different like it's it's different characters yeah yeah and then uh so I'm watching it I'm like this is pretty good and then like I got I was like episode 3 obviously it's all going to be [ __ ] because everybody said it's going to be terrible and then so I watch episode 3 and I'm like especially the ending of episode 3 and I was like um I suspect maybe we just disagree on what is good and what isn't yes not saying it's the greatest thing that I've ever seen or anything but no near what people are saying I'm I think

you've got to do a bit of I think you put in a bit of effort to to be annoyed some of the things that I think you're right and I think I think people just want to hate it and you know how we talked and listeners we always do this but last week when we were chatting about it only Luke had seen it and he hadn't seen all of it and what we mostly were talking about was people told online in reviews um turned out to be quite wrong and even like I I said and I've got to apologize for for jumping on this bagging bagin bandwagon B billbo baggin yeah stupid band wagons um I said well

this is written and directed by a lesbian woman so of course you should expect some lesbian content um but actually I've now watched and I've watched all of the interviews that people are pointing to where she mentions it and she is always asked about it she never brings it up and the only time she does say anything is one guy who's clear like his campers are T is like this is the gayest Star Wars there is and she's like I guess you could look at it that way but that really wasn't a priority for me and and he's going no wear it sister you made Star Wars gay and she goes no I'm pretty sure C3PO and R2D2 are gay right from the start boom out of context everyone's like she thinks Star Wars is gay now

it's canon2 is a lesbian and it's like no she was just [ __ ] around in an interview cuz she thinks you're a [ __ ] the first time there's been that thing with cio's camp and a bit gay that's not new that's simp made that joke it seems like I don't I want to be I don't want to be unfair to people right but it really seems like people who are hating this can't handle it when a character or or or the person directing the show says a thing and it's it's not true or there's some Nuance to it or whatever cuz there stuff I don't I started making notes about all the things people complained about and like I was like well that's nothing like like like a lame example is people were complaining about the fire on the ship the side of

the ship it's a [ __ ] gas league so and also you giving that one second of screen time in the first episode correct but also I feel like that's an there was gas leaking from a pipe that's what the fire also you can have combustion in space Also there are lightsabers like this is a fantasy right this is a fantasy show yes um and then they're complaining oh Soul says no May died I saw her die and but he said she died but then she's not dead how it doesn't make there's a contradiction and it's like the whole story line that he I saw her die and then the camera held on him for a minute while he went as he went yeah it it zoomed into his fingers crossed behind his back like come on guys and then I I

think to give these people the benefit of the doubt these people we're going oppositional now we're jumping on the pole of thing like no we [ __ ] love it but here's the thing I I think has become quite prescription right I think it has become with book of Boba Fett Obi-Wan people only say what they mean the characters tell you what the plot is garbage like that so when you have something with a bit of nuance where somebody is hiding something or if somebody doesn't want something known they don't say what they mean then suddenly you're like yes you see it's not clear so you get mad at it rather than just thinking oh something going on here m just finished this book I just

read novel The coma right oh yeah I've I read this entire book this week I still don't know what it's about right like it's such a mystery he's like he's like I'm not I'm not even telling you Danny and then I went online and everyone's like I I don't know what happened there were words like I read them yeah scary to try and make anything these days because are looking for anything to point out that it's bad so I I I did watch a number of these critiques of it online and so YouTube still thinks I'm interested in that which I guess I am in a way but but after having watched it all and like I've watched all of it now after the fifth episode the fifth episode is

[ __ ] great like you watch I'm going to watch that after this because I've only seen haven't seen four or five yet honestly if if Andor is the best of the new Star Wars stuff which I still think it is I think might be the second best yeah like it's I completely agree completely agree even though like those Japanese guys from The Phantom Menace are in this and like it's it's it's more prequels adjacent than a lot of that stuff is yeah which I nor don't like but they've done it I this is going to sound dumb there is more the sound design in this is more star warsy than any of the modern Star Wars listening to those sounds makes me feel like I'm watching a Star Wars in ways but here's the thing Matt and I think you nailed it last week except that we were on the inverse when

we were saying some Star Wars are for us and some Star Wars are not the same people cuz I did this when I watch book of Boba Fett after every episode I went and watched wrap-ups and and reviews and stuff and they all [ __ ] loved it and it's the same people that hate this so I I think known I should have known because it was presenting me with videos right and I I I popped one on and it's this is a very very famous YouTuber that I name who it is I don't know if is that going to does anyone give a no one gives a [ __ ] but they they stand by there you guys know who the critical Drinker is I assume yeah you've heard I've heard of him yeah yeah I don't watch him but I I know who he is so he doesn't like it you know fair enough and then and you know that's kind of his

thing is is being down on all this stuff lately I me I'm sure he he maybe really doesn't like it but I'm just not quite sure he I don't know if he's like mistaken or if if this is intentional right because he he was showing he was doing a video about the latest episode and he he's been doing this in all of them he shows a clip of it's a clip of the um the Sith character from the Acolyte and it's in the first episode at the end of the first episode right he says right I'm just going to I'm just going to do it the way that he did it he says uh the Jedi cannot be harmed by any weapon or not it's that clip of him saying the weap Jedi cannot be har by any weapon not steel not laser not Blaster whatever and he cut he puts that over footage of all these Jedi being

killed in this show right as if there's some sort of contradiction but I watched it metaphor after I'd seen the show I realized in order to get that clip he had to remove the sentence before that where what he actually says is the Jedi believe in a lie and then he says that stuff that they can't be the Jedi cannot be killed by any weapon and it's like I don't know you do that on purpose or did you actually realize he means the Jedi as a plural like Jedi as a whole are this one entity that can't be destroyed not individual Jedi are vulnerable I think what he said was the Jedi believe in a lie that they can't be killed that blah BL blah we're going to show them that that's not the case cuz we're going to [ __ ] kill them like that's what I thought he was trying to

say I don't know I just I watched like I said I watched that clip and I was like oh did you really think that's a contradiction did you just not yeah but also did you not need did you need to show us that clip like we've seen Order 66 we've seen J [ __ ] massive like yeah either way you want to spin it and here's the thing if I don't if I'm reading something and I don't understand it I think to myself huh I don't understand this I better read a bit further but learn a bit more I don't just assume that I'm smarter than the author right I mean seven other episodes of this show about to about to come out so maybe explain that's like the thing that I mean um the other big one was the the episode where we see the flashback and we only even see OSHA's point of

view and the version of events that we get like you know like this thing happens as a fire and all these people are dead and stuff like that and then she says to Soul oh what happened and he goes oh your sister started a fire and it killed everyone and people are like oh that's stupid it doesn't make sense yeah yeah that's obviously not what happened that's just what he [ __ ] told her that's obviously not true we didn't even know there was a sister for the first half of the first episode yeah like I don't like is this a [ __ ] imagine the first episode of The Sopranos he's lying or he's mistaken it's one of those things I think mistaken it could be first episode of The Sopranos Tony Soprano sitting in the uh in the in the psychologist office she

goes what's wrong he goes nothing's wrong with me Doc boom end of series that's it there's nothing wrong with him why would I need to watch anymore why would I need to watch eight more there was nothing wrong with him pointless money grab pointless money grab the rest was all filler yeah we already knew how it ended there was nothing wrong wrong and and like you said right you know people people liked book AB Fett and we didn't and so in order to just see right I put Ahsoka on I finished watching the Acolyte and I was actually like I said I've been really enjoying it and I was like I could do with some more Star Wars actually after that have you got any more Star Wars for me of that Pon got to

offer no they don't have any of that flavor they have this other flavor that I don't like that flavor I I I can't watch it I turned it off it's just not I tried not not this week but when it started and I couldn't I could I think it's the same thing where we've all tried Stevenson and [ __ ] Clancy R he great in it he's great in it but I think it's this whole thing of this is the um AA comes from the Clone Wars and the rebels cartoons which is something with tried to watch at different times and just and I've tried multiple times yeah and I Tri one day I just said to myself look just sit down and [ __ ] watch it don't don't try to be entertained just watch it as homework and I it just wasn't for us and that's I thought I was

going to do with the Acolyte and it turned out I was like same in fact I had it on when I was working I had it on my second monitor here and I was working and I was like I'm going to have to turn this off I'm going to have to watch this when I'm concentrating cuz this is really good I'm accidentally enjoying this yeah I think that yeah it's you need to sometimes it's not for you and it doesn't mean that it's bad and it's okay if it's not for you you don't have to hate on it and again I'm not saying it's perfect like you said Luke it's not not the greatest thing in the universe but it's not at all what people said like I said I just apologize if I if there's anybody out there who didn't give it a chance because of what I said that's not give it a go like yeah yeah I feel like

there's obviously some disconnect between a and I almost think they should not do any promos like no no uh press junkets and stuff because I honestly when I okay so I'm going to admit right partly the reason I didn't watch this was because bad reviews but partly I didn't watch this because was because of all the behind the scenes interviews I'd seen without even meaning to of actors that didn't seem to know much about Star Wars fine but saying dumb stuff right like and I was like I'm not going to like this cuz I don't like these people like there was this one clip of the you know the main actress I don't know anyone his name so I'm sorry but the main actress plays the twins um somebody said to her ask her a question and instead of answering it she just started

doing this dance and I'm like I don't like that human being I'm not going to like the show and then there's this clip of the dude who plays the Jedi who's friends with her look now that I know her it's quite adorable but at this time I was annoyed right cuz I was I was geared up to being annoyed and then there was that bit where that that dude with the the hair like this is saying um they he he was like oh you know there's no good or no bad I mean did when Anakin blew up the Death Star Did anyone say that and and and I was like I'm not going to like this show cuz I hate that human being but like in the show he's a [ __ ] fantastic character he's so flawed like yes it's very interesting that's the other thing one of the big

things people are complaining about is all that they portraying the Jedi as like these you know morally questionable able child kidnapping people and I'm like no that's just what the the the witches from somebody else's point of view thought the Jedi came to take the kids and so and we never get to find out what happened because of everything goes to [ __ ] because they thought they were going to do that in the first movie where Luke who had only found out about Jedi 10 minutes before was saying to Han Sol [ __ ] Jedi are awesome and Han's like I don't know man I've heard some [ __ ] like it's just whoever's point that's the other thing people are like oh now we learned that the force is a threat and no you didn't learn that a character it's like it's like everything

a character says on screen suddenly becomes [ __ ] Cannon no no you got to go change Wikipedia again this these people's opinion there's their Rel these witches who do have a connection to the force see it as a different thing and that doesn't mean that that's like changes anything I don't know no it has to it has to be cut and dry I saw if become Ace you do this yeah only Force sensitive people can use the force only this can happen only Jed lightsabers yep so many arguments with people over that people can be wrong characters can be wrong as evidenced by this are everyone's right it's a very boring show okay scene one Fight Club right he goes up into the mirror and he's like I think I might have a split personal

I'm going to just stay at home look this is why I think like this I'm going to turn this back to like this is why I think steam will never make half lifee three because imagine whatever they were to do yeah it's too late people would just tear to shreds cuz it's been hyped up not by steam or anything it's been hyped up by fans and then shoka was cast on the internet before it was cast in the [ __ ] auditions and that blows my mind like [ __ ] the best cast thing is always controversial do you remember when they said that Heath Ledger was going to be the Joker and the internet went [ __ ]

psycho cuz they're like Heath Ledger oh yeah get a Batman come down to the beach like yeah and he was [ __ ] amazing remember how we [ __ ] went when they cast Henry caval as as geralt and we were like that's going to be a disaster and now we're like What You me he's not going to be girl anymore yeah yeah mate and the internet's going crazy of whoever it is that James gun has cast as Superman mate if James gun says that's Superman that's [ __ ] Superman I trust James gun explicitly implicitly no I trust him explicitly explicitly explicitly I'll wait to see I'm not I still don't care for Superman I love Superman He's just never done right while we're talking about superheroes though I've been watching more of the

boys okay um this is [ __ ] good I'm in the third season um this is RoboCop level corporate satire like it's it's so good if you listeners and Luke if you think RoboCop is good you should watch this it's got the same level of body horror as RoboCop does as well and it hates [ __ ] corporations as much asov does too um so good and and the jump from season 2 to season 3 cuz I was like where are they going to go with this they've already kind of accomplished their goals and the things they can't accomplish are kind of these big question marks that I'm like well season 3 can't just be about them continuing to try and do that right you

know it can't be that or it'll be boring no they're semi corpor TI now too like so now it's like there's corporate villains against corporate hero it's very good it's very good I I have heard it's good and I just I don't know why I just haven't watched it it's just uh pop the first episode on and if the first scene doesn't make you cringe and laugh many things I probably know that I will enjoy it it's just hasn't just come up in the rotation to watch CU there's other stuff I watch instead I don't know what season this is but have you you've seen the octopus I assume his friend the octopus no that must be later in this season all I love what I love the sex scene I saw the sex scene yeah that was different than what I

thought it's actually not an an ory it's just at some weird swingers party but it is I was like how are they going to do that without like showing a dick no they just show a dick and show a little guy going into it yeah it's not like it was like 20 years ago where you can't show penis now some the show I forget where there's a guy who superpowers that his dick extends and like attacks people yeah but you find out because um mm gets tied up with it and you don't know what it is you just think he's been tied up with a snake or something and then and then they finally get him free and it just like zooms up this guy's trousers and he's like was I just tied up with a dick but there are so many cool things I love about this number one so L you're

aware there there's no spoilers you're aware homelander the Superman character is the ultimate baddy because he's he's invulnerable and all powerful and so um uh like so what's the word when you just don't have any self-confidence he's just [ __ ] he he just needs to he's just so insecure that he just needs anything to to to he's total narcissist but he's insecure and so the only reason he behaves is because he thinks people won't like him if he do and there's this this amazing bit where him and um Stormfront are like getting plans going to like [ __ ] take over the world and she's like and you can finally be free of all this fing movie and billboard

[ __ ] and he's like you just see it on his face he doesn't say anything but his face just like huh maybe I don't want that then but there's this great thread where you find out performance is so good she's she's a Nazi a literal Nazi was she was married to one of the high command and she's she's old she's 100 years old um she still looks young um and so they start weaving in but he doesn't really know that yet and they she's talking to a kid and they're trying to tell the kid why the kid should try to learn his powers and she goes because there is people that will hate you just just for the color of your skin um and you know the white people need to start getting and homelander who's like this [ __ ] evil [ __ ] kind of looks at her like you are losing me

darling like that's not my thing I hope you don't think that's my thing like it's it's not just good and bad like everything is so nuanced yeah mhm which is so so weird cuz so we've just spoken about how people don't get that and don't enjoy it with the whole Star Wars thing and then we've got the boys which people are loving but then there's also the rumors that people aren't understanding quite what it's about either so oh yeah but I think it's like RoboCop I think if you if you watched RoboCop without any like if you just you could come away G just guys shooting at each other cops and robbers like like no shoot the guy on the dick it was awesome Starship Troopers is another great example so many people don't understand that but I love that quote

from like from the early 90s or whenever where verhoven goes I'm making a movie that's so satirical no one will possibly misunderstand it nope I'm so looking for tro coming out modern superhero TV show that came out around the same time that I didn't watch no no Heroes was great I loved Heroes but no I think Netflix did one uh somebody somebody feels like a ghost now cuz they're yelling at us through the Airways yeah I'm not sure what you mean hero it was like a white super heroy kind of what's it called noon I enjoyed moonight moonight was

good no one else liked that Jupiter's Legacy is what I'm talking about oh is that the I don't know what that is it's a movie no it's a series Jupiter Ascending yeah children of superhero struggle to live up to the legendary Feats of their parents [ __ ] good yeah seen that H um yeah so go watch the boys go watch the Acolyte and make up your own mind about both of those shows yeah in fact don't don't even don't even not like it don't list don't listen to people on the internet make up your own mind about I've learn list learn you weren't even talking from your own experiences talking about other people no but but watching people talk about it annoyed me so much that I was

like I don't want anything to do with this but I'm glad that I was like no I guess I should watch it because [ __ ] all those people like yeah I think I wasn't in a rush to see see it and then when I watched it when I was heing bad thing it did it did honestly it did put me off watching it cuz normally I will watch anything star the second it comes out it did put me off a little bit then I watched it and I'm like I don't understand what people are saying but see I said all this stuff I know I said it I got to own it cuz I said it but I was all this stuff about oh it's intentionally controversial it's not controversial at all even the thing about people were talking oh there's [ __ ] it was a alien with with pron in it no that's not it's a throwaway gag

but even I disagree with so she goes is he exactly it's like it's not it's not a pronoun thing it's just a joke [ __ ] off um I I also disagree I I watched red letter media oh yeah uh critique of this yeah the video was good and I I like the way way they discussed it in terms of the identity politics but I really disagree that there's any of that in there I I think this is all external I think it's completely external and and um totally it's it's it's it's just viewers people are just seeing ghosts Pro back something [ __ ] yeah exactly like I guess the only the closest thing is that the witches are yeah okay I

guess it's all women and there is this thing with this but but that's not new I mean there's a lot of women in it but I can name you shows where there's a lot of men and no one's gone too many men think I keep going it doesn't matter coven of witches yeah it's not Star Wars yeah it's not a new thing in Star Wars it's not enough men in the COV of witches yeah plenty of men in the Jedi don't worry about it yeah yeah yeah we're we're covered don't worry if you want dicks if you just love dicks there's dicks what are the boys there's a lots of them oh there's a lots of dicks in the boys um just on on um on uh superficial news um eron moratti has transitioned in the season I'm watching at the moment she's

skinny so she was season one and two very cacious season 3 hit the gym got got skinnier that's it doesn't affect the show yep mhm I actually think they're also doing her makeup it doesn't make a difference mate I think they're actually also doing her makeup slightly different too and kind of highlighting accentuating her like cheekbones and and stuff this big really gross conversation about when there were promo shots or or just just photos of her I guess for one picture a few months ago yeah exactly and it looked people like oh she's had so much plastic surgery and it's like has she cuz she says she hasn't had any what she says she hasn't had any how the

[ __ ] do you know well also like look at the before pictures of her she that's not a girl who would look at herself in the mirror and think this movie yeah that movie was filmed 10 years ago yeah when she was like 17 like women change as they get older men do too had beard used to be orange yeah like who's the girl from Scott Pilgrim which one which one um Elizabeth Winstead yeah look at her in Scott P and then look at her in now like Paul oppos but it's in you and McGregor's bed yeah I'd look at that but I'd have to move the coordinator move her out of the way so I can see him yeah

[Laughter] yeah look I didn't even recognize her in um the Harley Quinn movie but yeah people just people age and they Chang right she that TW in Ahsoka oh oh I saw her and then I turned it off no I'm joking I didn't it wasn't what what did I turn it off I put it back on by the way I turned it off and then I did put it back on and then I turned it off again cuz I was like was terrible I just I know it's if you watch Life's Too Short too this is almost enough yeah oh she's a damn cute I also put on the other day a movie uh so I I was listening to just listen to music the other day and you know something times

it recommends stuff that you used to listen to and there's a one of my favorite bands of all time is Frontline assembly which is like a bunch of um you know electronic musicians from like the ' 80s and 90s people from skinny puppy and stuff like that and they have an album called um hardwired from the '90s and there's a track on there it's an instrumental track called mortal and I [ __ ] love it always loved it it's just something I remember from you know when you're a teenagers it's really like ingrained in there it's got lots of audio clips in it it's one of those uh electronic bands that have from movies and stuff in it oh yeah and Mortal has a bunch of Clips in particular from one of my favorite movies in the mouth of Madness and I learned this week starring

it's about it it's sorry I found it and I put it on and I was like this this is great it's like it's a bit like Fortress he gets sent to this Maximum Security Prison um but then he misbehaves there so they just dump him on an island with all the really bad criminals and then it becomes like a tribe of criminals versus not and it got really boring so turn that off as well you know do you know why I know about this movie is because there was a sness game based on this movie okay yeah right it's not it's not bad it's just a yeah oh the game not the but honestly I got halfway through it and I was like like Life's too short so when I was a kid I saw this movie

medieval fantasy movie um about a kid who finds a bone in the on the ground and whittles a flute out of it and when he plays the flute he hears the voice of the man whose bone it is saying this is who I am I'm buried here this is who killed me [ __ ] avenge me and it [ __ ] chilled me to my core when I was a kid but I loved it right and it popped into my head last week and I'm like what is that I didn't remember the name of the movie or anything but I remembered the tune I remember like I remember the the words the tune that he played so I like I'm like what were the words to that and I I figured it out enough that Google knew what I Wasing about right yeah right and it's it's a segment in an

anthology movie right called The Adventures of the brothers Grim or something like this right okay and and the brothers Grim go all around Germany listening to stories and people tell them stories and it shows the stories as clips and that's why it's an anthology right and it's just one of them and I watched it and it's so unscary and uncool it's just [ __ ] camp and silly man I'm going to remake this and make it a [ __ ] horror like it's like the um one my possibly absolute favorite thing from my childhood is that Storyteller episode the soldier who caught death get in my sack incredible just incredible maintain to this day incredible good yeah listeners watch it

look it up watch it don't want to watch it in case it's not incredible but but I I think I watched it when was about 30 and it was still really good it's it's incredible that's Spielberg to do with that or Jim Hanson it's Jim Hansen right Jim Hanson yeah John Hurt plays the old man who tells the story yes and uh it's about a soldier who comes back from the war and uh he meets three homeless people gives them his biscuits and they give each give him a gift one gives him a whistle like a whistle uh one gives him a deck of cards with which he can never lose and one gives him a magic sa call anything into it and it'll be there in a Flash and then he uses it for various things including incling death so that nobody dies while while death is in the sack

yeah yeah but then everyone comes and begs him like please all these old people coming out please we just want to die and then and he's like all right and he lets death out but then death is scared of him so it never comes for him and he just drags himself down to Hell at the end but then in Hell the demon the he plays Cards Against these devils and and he beats them because he can't lose and then he and then they're like oh we'll just kill you then and he's like we get in the sack and he puts them all in the sack and smashes them around so they're scared of him as well so at the end when he's like [ __ ] it I'll go to I'll just take myself down to hell he gets there and they're like [ __ ] off mate so he just has to that's why I really like the dumb piece of [ __ ]

God cuz remember years ago we he was fired from twitch and there was a secrecy around it and yeah no one knew why it's finally come out and now we know why it's not good it's not good folks it's the opposite of good it's bad very bad so we were speculating at the time what I think I was that he was trying to play off like twitch and someone else to try and get a big contract that was a charitable accusation right yeah no no much worse than that if I were him i' would been like exactly right it was that and nothing else but evid some ex twitch employees have sort of come out and goes no he was texting a minor he was attempting to specifically he was uh he

had been messaging a a minor and arranging to meet up twitchcon yes yeah specifically which is not okay and he has not come out and defended this he's come out and said y I didn't do anything wrong I didn't do anything wrong there was I got caught before I could do it therefore I didn't do legal charges or anything like that it was just and he's trying to play it off like yes there were some messages that may have gone a bit too far and it's like no it's it's wrong and disgusting doesn't deny the specific allegation though what does a bit too far mean a bit too far means do you want to meet up with [ __ ] I think you're sexy yeah so he he was arguing that just telling a little

kid that you're going to [ __ ] it is not a crime but actually it is well here's the thing that actually annoys me about this is I want to know I want to know if twitch reported this or if they just dealt with it no they didn't apparently OB well obviously not because nothing ever happened but so I messaged you guys the other day because I was watching was watching a podcast and they came up with just on the Fly this the what what are you drinking luk what is that what is that little kids drink you've got there it's j grape sour okay so it's not okay okay sounds right if you're listening only on the podcast it's a giant novelty glass with a straw in it and it's bright purple yes so they came up with this theory

that I mean it it explains everything and that is but it also lets him off a little bit which I don't like no no no no no no I don't think so because he's still he didn't know this still he's still a [ __ ] yeah exactly right so their theory is that the so it's very odd that first of all it's very odd that um that this was never reported right so we know now in theory allegedly he was arrang he was messaging inappropriately with a minor and was arranging to meet up with twitchcon which is very bad right do we know the second part is true I suppose not actually good point the first part that is Ming in minor is okay so we know that he was doing that he's been accused of doing the second part that's a good no I mean they would know if he was going to meet up because

that's what the messages would have been about but this ex employee said that I don't I guess no one's ever confirmed that so I guess that's fair we should we should be had said yes he was messaging a mind that's the one thing he never said that he he never yeah said yeah I was going to do that so just for context and without naming names a friend of mine's boss was put in prison for 4 years just for sending messages on Facebook Messenger to somebody underage saying I look at for you do you want to meet up yeah like they didn't they never met up because she she told her mom and the mom called the police and he went to prison well that's why this this this Theory makes more sense of of the fact that none of that did happen because so so we know that that he's accused of of

communicating with a minor in a sexual manner in some way right that's and and he hasn't denied that in fact he's confirmed that he's confirmed that was a good idea yeah he thought that was a good idea to confirm that um we also know that uh twitch could see the messages right so they know what he was saying okay so that's that's that's bad that's very bad that means they have evidence but we also know that that nothing was ever reported anywhere and they never came they covered all this up and not only that if if he was communicating with somebody is it is odd that that person never came forward because you would think if you were um yeah CU it was whatever if you were if you were a teenager uh like not of legal age and

you were like oh I'm going to meet up with Dr disrespect you would think they'd be telling people or weren because they were excited about ACH of money I'll come for and [ __ ] say yeah I'm going to guess that they were paid off but anyway we interrupted Matt you're you're heading somewhere with this yeah yeah so the so well that that and like even if they yeah even if they were paid off right it's odd that they never said it's odd that nobody ever said anything right so this the theory is that the only way that all of this makes sense really is if he thought he was messaging a minor and therefore he is guilty however it wasn't actually a minor it was somebody like a grown human some other pervert [ __ ] with him right and then

they reported him and then twitch said well he is do he is doing that so we have to we have to ban him one of those channels that goes out and tries to pretends to they can catch To Catch a Predator be something like that could be something like that and so that's the reason they they can't he didn't do anything illegal technically he tried to but he failed right he made a good attempt to The Reason illegal the reason why I don't the reason why I don't think it's that cuz in his when he owns up to it he says yes I was messaging a minor that's true but then he edited the Tweet oh he and put it back in again because and their theory was that that he had it put it back in there because he um they they theory is that like he

Ed it out and then he realized oh people are going to figure this out so he put it back in TT for me for someone embarassing what's more embarrassing that you were texting a 17year old girl or that you were texting a 60-year-old man like maybe cuz the other thing is too now everybody there there are people online saying oh actually yeah we heard about this a while ago everyone's like why didn't you [ __ ] say something or report him right again that makes sense if they know he wasn't actually messaging a minor he was like he got caught but it wasn't actually a crime I'd like to think that but actually it makes more sense to me that everyone just assumed it wasn't their place to be the one to call police they could often or or just

like like all of that [ __ ] that we I mean we we I mean this is different but you know we talk about Kevin spacing we we knew what he was diddling young boys but it's like well I'm sure somebody much much closer to the situation will say something before I do surely nobody does for the twitch thing this is why I think for someone that as a platform that deals a lot of the audience are children that they should if they see something like this for me they should be like mandatory reporters most businesses have that if if this is true and they knew about it and they and and it is real and it is a real minor that he was interacting with and he didn't report it that's disgusting yeah that's really there might there might be repercussions for

that if there should that's that's terrible come on man like especially for a platform that yeah most like 90% of audience is going to be children they should be taking an effort to protect this ex-employee I don't know there's a lot of people here that it's just like I mean like people like oh this this guy's a hero for you know finally telling us but like but he knew this whole time he didn't say anything like actually well here's the other thing like with the person who sort of came out about it he's been hinting at it for a long time and trying to sell tickets and make money off I know the reason and stuff as well like all disgusting that's the problem then we can't take anybody's word for it sounds like everybody's got like ulterior motives here I don't know man

anyway he has been fired from everything yeah yeah yeah the statement from his so he co-founded a video game studio and their their statement was [ __ ] hilarious cuz they said we heard these allegations we we assumed he was innocent we did an investigation and we are parting WS with him [ __ ] sick [ __ ] so that to me leads more to it was probably an actual minor then are yeah either that or they I think I think either way if it was a minor or he thought it was a minor and he did it anyway I think both of those are equally bad from as far as your judgment for him cuz whether he knew or not who was on the he assumed that no matter what if he thought that's what he was doing
