Not Minge: Xbox Games Showcase & Star Wars Acolyte Controversy

Xbox have upset me oh not happy with them cuz I listened to rumors and got excited welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multible nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy okay oh okay so the Xbox showcase last way and the rumors leading up to it was they going to Xbox were going to announce their own handheld oh and I really thought it was going to happen because why would it not the Sony one's doing well you've got all the steam decks and the but no nothing yeah need one didn't they I've got an Xbox held every day I didn't look into

this but didn't they say something that indicated that it's a I I have no idea I saw swear I saw an article that said they didn't announce it but they did kind of spenc heavily implied like we'd be crazy not to okay all right so and that was I don't know if that was just before or just after but it's going to happen like that's that's the way they're going with it they want to focus on cloud gaming and stuff like that so the next obvious thing is would be a handheld that's going to do that it doesn't run the games on it it's Cloud only is it the rumor yeah well that's the rumor I'm spreading I mean yeah I also have one of those so yeah yeah already is that what the PlayStation one is yeah you can't like you have to own a PlayStation to

correct and in fact I think the PlayStation one is less useful than the ones we have because um I don't think you can run anything on it I think they run the PlayStation game so there's no emulators or they yeah they run stuff they basically connect to your Playstation remotely and they run stuff like whereas with these it's like a controller with a screen on it exactly yeah yeah yeah whereas with the g-cloud and and um and your one we run Linux stuff or Android stuff rather which I don't know if Microsoft would come out a little bit different and go maybe it would run some PC stuff I don't know but uh look I'm happy with the one I've got my a& at the moment that runs fine runs plays all the games I want but Xbox One does come out I am

looking at getting a new Xbox series X though the sparkly one how you know just cuz it's got a bigger hard drive it looks cool too does it actually Sparkle like that or is that just promo um it it is different I don't know if it's sparkly sparkly but I know it is it literally had [ __ ] lights coming out of it in the trailer I have a feeling that if it looks like that I probably want one but I mean mine is behind my TV so that would cool the one I actually want is mine's in a wicker basket I want not cuz they're releasing a new the white version of the Xbox series X as well I believe but with and with a disc version but still only comes with um one terab yeah that was weird whereas I want the the the dis I mean it does you have

to install the games anyway way because people were saying oh why would the one with the disc need a bigger hard drive saying well it it actually does still need a big hard drive both do yeah I just don't understand why the discus one doesn't have the bigger hard drive because it does that's the one I want and that's the reason why instead of getting the unless I'm get we're looking at it from the perspective of you know the way we think of it if you're downloading all the games you need more space but like as I said it's the same for the dis one they have to install the games anyway they don't run the games from the dis so but from their perspective they just wanted to make a cheaper one well it makes sense cuz they don't have to put a disc drive in it reduces cost smaller

hard drive reduces cost I have two terabyte at the moment and it's not enough are they releasing larger versions of that whatever that memory card I don't think seen I haven't seen one I don't have one of those I've only got my expensive yeah I've got an SSD like a normal old school SSD but install Xbox series X Games on it it actually will uh you just can't play them oh yeah so yeah you have to do the whole thing where I'm going to copy this one over and yeah because I've got I've got a hard drive connector as well and I just put all the Xbox One games onto that one and then onto I juggle them around a little bit depending I delete I just keep it tidy I just only have two or three games that

I'm currently playing downloaded I'm playing like five games again if I want to play him again I mean impatient that's probably more sensible I'm not I don't one game I'm playing right now and I'm loving it but anyway we' got to talk about the Xbox showcase I'm playing a bit of that too actually F enough so we can get on to that at some point yeah this is moment this my I thought it was actually a pretty good showcase did you see it yeah I watched it I'm excited by some of these games when I realized it went into the Call of Duty thing I turned it off but um there I forgot that I love Metal Gear Solid and this reminded me of that oh really that was good um what about the new Doom Dark Ages yeah it looks pretty neat yeah yeah Bethesda thing and I was like

didn't we already see all the Bethesda stuff what could it be oh it's Doom of course doom and finally we get more Fable and they're finally going back to the world Gears of War which but Fable looks amazing Fable look cool um I'm curious the the cinematics and stuff that they showed were great and it's very cool but it also heavily implied that you'd be playing as that character so does that mean you don't get to do a character creator or I'd be very surprised is that just backstory and that character happens to be in the game talking about that that that which character are you talking about the girl the girl I I think that's just who put there i' I'd be very surprised if you don't get to choose who you play that's always been a fable thing yeah okay cool

yeah it just seemed like very um integrated in what we saw and then I was like maybe that's not even the player character maybe that's just some back story and that that girl is in the yeah we'll have to wait find Fable since the first one oh really the very first one yeah they good two three were good as well I think just never got into them yeah three was also very good or 3 we played together for a little bit well not together just the same time not like that no no no in FA War 3 I think you could see other players but Jing each other off but we weren't playing the game te together yeah no you would see other players in the game they were orbs so you w actually you could go into another person's world and play directly co-op with them but then but if you

didn't do that you'd actually see other people in the world just H as orbs doing their own thing which was interesting and I gave Matt a lot of money yeah could we focus on the game but then did you see Indiana Jones yeah I'm look I will say this was a better trailer I mean it's a long trailer but this was a better this looked better than the last one but it only looked better until they started showing combat in which case it was the same problem I had before was about to say I was like oh this looks good but I don't we don't be playing this this is a cinematic yeah like yeah no third person how is this game not third person that's what the

same thing I kept thinking it's I don't know man but the game The Cinematic and the story looks good and interesting yeah yeah it looks pretty cool yeah um I think the one thing that I wasn't expecting got a big shock out it was perfect dark that looks great I was like amazing I actually didn't pick up on what it was at first and I was like this looks like like a new day of se but in like a more clean like you know Universe like a less pry Dark Universe and I was like [ __ ] this looks awesome yeah so I'm excited for that what I'm really looking forward to and I've never been a perfect Dark fan I've never it was a launch myself what it was launch on Xbox 36 I played it once and then went this is not for me I was

like I know that name and then I Googled I was like oh yeah that thing I remember that no that was great I I'll uh I'll definitely play that um The One Thing game we were looking forward to that I'm a bit scared about now is Assassin's Creed mhm why scared I don't that trailer didn't look the greatest to me for some reason maybe it's just because the trailer they launched with was so good the teas I think I tuned out the Assassin's Creed one cuz I was like I already I'm already excited about this maybe maybe it may have been that that I'm already excited but yeah I just I don't know it just seemed it seemed dark and yeah right I don't know but they just few stand outs um Dragon Age I don't know if I like this game anymore yeah that's that's an odd Choice it's

been very um controversial I guess is the word people have been like the [ __ ] like the um you know Boulders gate was too RPG I guess and they like went hard in the cartoony Direction I don't know looks yeah I don't know cuz I loveed the first two I enjoyed the first two games and then there was Dragon a thir one was pretty good too couldn't finish it I just I sort of lost interest in this one there's one thing I found quite interesting in this one so you know how you've always been able to romance the characters yes in this one if you don't Romance the characters directly they'll get off with each other that's pretty interesting too late I'm seeing this guy yeah can you influence that that could be fun should

[ __ ] what US yeah on I just sit here and watch by the campfire I Dragon Age the first dragon ede I think might have been the first game where you could like it was Morgan and uh what's her name were the two that I was interested in Morgan and the the the the redhead who's in she's in three as well what's her name some some listeners yelling at their phone right now anyway it was the two of those but then there was a certain point where you could just kind of lead both of them you know kind of have have it going on with both of them but then at a certain point you would go talk to one and they'd be like the [ __ ] going on with you and Morgan like that's it you blew it depending on what you say to that then you go back and

Morgan's like what the [ __ ] did you say I heard you been talking it yeah watch same thing happened with the third Mass Effect that that happened you could kind of lead people on a little bit but you had to make a decision early on enough otherwise it's like well I hear you've been talking to a certain quore in yeah it used to be in games you can just Bang everybody in it you know for me it always Kelly Kelly oh Mass Effect 2 yeah y cuz she was right there the the literal first person you see when you turn your head hey can't get her out of my head no Miranda all way I wasn't a Miranda fan also she wouldn't sleep with me the game wanted you to be though here's her ass

what do you think yeah well not in shot talking to somebody else you see the back of their head you're talking to her shot from down here they did fixed that in the remaster though they they went like that was a bit weird fixed ruined it so funny but then there are other little ones that sort of popped up like did you see mixtape mixtape oh yeah no it wasn't for me no that's for me that's sort of sort of scratching that's for people that like yeah that's what I thought I thought it looked exactly like another one of them which there is another one of them as well there is another one of them life is strange which I found this odd Choice played the first one and liked it

plenty but I didn't want to play any more after that well the I played the first one and the second one they're both great games but that story ended for me this is a so we'll wait and see I will play it cuz I like it I love the fact that most of these are coming to um Game Pass they're all on Game Pass You'll Play all of them why are we beating around the bush on that I B something yesterday that was on Game Pass just because I went to download it on Game Pass and then saw that it was so cheap that I went I'm just going to buy this that's a bit of an indication that it's about to leave as well sure yeah well it worked if that's a I'll I'll tell you why but I don't know if I can tell you why without

it being a spoiler so we we can discuss it later well the other I don't know did you see south of midnight that one where you that run around the big fish oh sure yeah yeah okay I don't know how yeah the Louisiana one like in the one look I think this was just a good showcase for moft issue there's a lot of stuff pretty quirky and interesting like I found I do like the fact that they Warcraft a new um a new [ __ ] expansion for wow didn't expect that well they've got to Market it they own it do people still play it what not like they used to surely when started I thought are they announcing wow on Xbox that'd be interesting but

no play that yeah I don't know you could do well on Xbox I mean if you could figure out the controls why wouldn't you be able to well you can plug a mouse and keyboard into an Xbox these days but well they're not going to count it doesn't work quite right does it you can right I don't I don't cuz for like RTS games that' be handy well they could they could integrate it with that like Windows store and add achievements which if that happens I'm screwed we'll be playing wow you'll be playing wow I'll be like I'll play and then I won't I might make a character and then not play it yeah F me 10 feathers no I'm out and then the one that you liked was the middle Gear Solid one I must say a [ __ ] cuz I I loved the early I'm not

talking of the super early like Nintendo yeah I'm talking yeah I mean I like those sure but uh Med Solid 2 yeah PlayStation 2 era Metal Gear solids y uh they were [ __ ] great this is a remake of one of them right though snakea that's what this is is that what what it is I think soe I thought it more it's called Metal Gear Alpha is it or oh I don't know Gear Solid Alpha I don't know with withal gear I only played like one and two like and I didn't really keep up the law after that yeah middle Gear Solid Snake you mean metal when you you mean middle Gear Solid one and two yes not middle gear one and two in the 80s and and early 90s

no Metal Gear Solid one and two yeah yeah this is a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 oh it is oh I think so I didn't play middle GE Sol 3 yeah and CU when they were asked why they decided to remake three and not one or two um they said started with three oh okay okay okay yeah I like the stealth I like this was I like the stealth games you know the Hitman and and them this was always good like that for me horrifically frustrating if you heard that sound if someone saw you but yeah every game we're talking about is on Game Pass right uh not all of them some of them weren't but I think the ones we have spoken about probably

yeah but yeah they sort of stand out for me I'm incited except the fact that we have to wait what have we missed Call of Duty Black Ops 6 don't care oh yeah I'll play it just for the achievements I won't State of Decay three don't care I like State of Decay I always have just don't know why bring that stfi I mean new Fallout 76 oh you you see um okay what's his name his base got nuked oh Todd Howard no the Xbox head Phil Spencer Phil Spencer I think I think it was Phil Spencer his his base someone nuked his base in Fallout 76 yeah and

then um everyone was like well I mean he controls the nukes so whoever did that better hope he doesn't find out who it was I think you got a job son I remember reading it and people trying to make out like they did it as a like a reaction to something and the guy went no I was just in the game I had a nuke and I saw Phils there so why wouldn't I like it wasn't a St read anything um because of the layoffs or something yeah and he was like no no no I don't give a [ __ ] I didn't mind Fallout 76 once they put human beings in the game and a story because I but I wanted to play it like a single player campaign and I couldn't because dudes [ __ ] kids 11-year-old

kids kept coming up to me you want to help me raid a base I'm like fine let's go I also found the part where it's sort of like you think you found something new and that's now you got to redo this Mission you've done before I like no I want to find new stuff to do I don't want to do the same event over and yeah I'll be AOW no I should like I was like not super over super whelmed by that Expedition 33 that one yeah that's the one that one looked really really interesting until I saw that it's like a final fantasy style one right like a turn based one yeah and now and I instantly lost interest like instantly I was like oh not

interested I think the one that we get the soon as is the souls like um flint lock the siege of dawn which I will not be playing because I hate Souls games Flint lock the siege of dawn oh reminds me um that Elder ring how they've got the DLC for that or the expansion or whatever they're calling it coming out soon 80% of people won't be able to play that game the expansion why because it requires you to have killed like two bosses and I've killed a boss most people have not completed the requirements to actually start the expansion yeah right I'm pretty sure game is too freaking hard it is it is it's too hard it's I who has time to play those games I mean look people love them obviously people love them because they

they made the Star Wars ones like that you know the they're a bit like that but you can turn it off turn the difficulty down you can't in uh Elden ring your F that's just play like that and that's it yeah but I mean people yeah people obviously like him and then we have stalker 2 yes oh yeah that also I watched it and I was like oh I don't know I was a little underwhelmed the first trailer was better yeah yeah but the great thing is it's a day one for Game Pass so you can give it a try if you don't like it yeah like that um atomic heart I thought looked neat and then I played it and I was like oh I don't like this that had so much promise and was so boring yeah yes exactly shame open world creepy Japanese looking

game as well was it called Wang Wang which one was that Fallen feathers oh I did see that that looked all right I do remember that and I'm loading up the thing so I it looks like somebody else was doing a Samurai game but they decided to make it look way more fantasy is it oh yeah we fall feathers yeah I'm trying to remember what the gameplay was like yeah I feel like a few of these are that's what this was sort of really dark and oh this looks a bit like gids of War oh yeah if gods of War was Japanese that's what it looks like yeah yeah cool monsters to fight against like interesting art style actually I felt

that about that other one too the was it the uh Expedition 33 the the art style and the Monsters were interesting it was the gameplay lost me this could still be good this look like kind of more of an action hack and slash uh it's got bloodborne Vibes which means it might also be a Dark Souls type no I'm hoping not just give me a but I love nearly everything is single player in this which I like like it's not a lot of there are a few things in here that with multiplayer like there was that frag Punk or whatever it is oh yeah no that didn't appeal to me 5v5 shooter but so that's it they're the ones I'm excited for I'll play them soon when they come out some been playing more Alan Wake which I'm more excited about two people

have been playing two people playing Matt you're playing the main game let's hear it what are you doing what are you liking um first of all it's [ __ ] incredible it's incredible I'm really glad I played through the first one it's not like anything else it's but it's so different to the first one yeah for starters which in a way I didn't even even the combat is is very different and then at first I was like I kind of miss the style of combat and I know right I saw that face you made Dan that's the face I made when I I thought that and then I made that face cuz I was like why you why you think that yeah it was it's just different and I I wasn't expecting you know they have the little they call The Source spot on

them the dark shieldy thing yeah [ __ ] okay so I'm up to um I've got I've with Allan at oh no wait I am Alan now section as Allan in the in the TV studio it's not spoiler oh yeah because no one's going to know what the [ __ ] that means until they play the game I mean the game's called Allan Wake matate he's in it he's in it um but that whole first part with um Saga and you know Nightingale and like [ __ ] hell it could have just been that right it could have just been that a sequal to Alan Wake Allan's been gone for 13 years and you play an FBI agent and it's just like a [ __ ] cool episode of The X Files yeah that could just that but it's so much more so much more and it just keeps getting better like I'm jealous

that you're getting two experiences for the first time because just better better play the DLC mate the DLC is incredible and just stuff like again I don't want I don't want to ruin anything for anybody but you know when you we get into the studio and then you start watching the TV and then it's just you're watching a TV show MH like for a bit and I'm like just [ __ ] wait mate this is this is great like because it's not clearly not constrained by anybody who said no no no it's got to be that somebody has saiding lever do whatever you want and he has said look the actual game is going to be solid it's just going to be a solid game so don't worry about that do this 3 hours and then you're going to do something completely [ __ ] different for three hours I think what

got him to go ahead was actually control oh yeah because um control was I think did well for them and it was a weird game and I think that was sequal to that as well and I think that may think I've got to play that because I know that this people popping in from Quantum break in this cuz I saw him I know who [ __ ] I know theh guy I don't know which I don't know which Ashmore it is but I know it's one of those ashor Quantum break I don't think did that well and that's why I think it took him a little bit longer but I liked Quantum break except for part where I'm assuming watch video it is yeah so I I I'll try not to give spoilers for the DLC unless you actively want them I mean I'm dying to tell I mean I know some

things about it because they just announced it and it said yeah that because it said it's it's unrelated to the game and I was like oh I could probably read this then and it said it's players and well it was quantum break that I bought this week ah oh I decided I guess I need to properly play okay now be warned with this you will finish the game or well no finish like a finish this game and then you will need to watch a 40 minute television show right like it's I mean if you supplementary research I did into the Alan Wake law after I finished Alan Wake 2 the first time yeah do you know that there was a there was a webisode series live action

I didn't know that yeah which was [ __ ] great there I got the [ __ ] book in the remastered version of anal and wake I'm assuming this was not in the original in the remastered version there are QR codes on things and if you scan them it takes you YouTu videos like like it'll be like some like Blurry like Allan Wake 2 style thing of help me I can't get out like yeah I I've got to play control I've got to I've got a okay I have't I don't know why I don't like it I love the premise I love the setting the combats it's fine there's just something about it you can't put it down and come back

because it doesn't really help you to where you need to go and where you need to get the places like you need to start learning the layout happened the first time I needed to start again the second time and it was only a couple of months later cuz yeah the the map is weird and Matt in the in control it's not a spoiler for control or for Alan Wake to but you walk into control you walk into the oldest house that where the control is set and the first person you meet is Arty the janitor y from Alan to M right yeah and and there's paintings of him on the wall right the guy tells you to go into the basement is that you mean mhm yeah yeah yeah that guy I will say this too again I don't want to spoil anything so I'm trying to be vague but also try and make sense but there were things in Alan

Wake 2 where I was like tone-wise this is a little weird like the people's reactions to things I was like yeah I feel like you'd have a strong reaction to that but then I'm like as it goes as I'm funny at now I'm like ah that might make sense like yeah so now I'm I'm learning question yeah don't don't question anything you might like it might be intentionally I'm interested to find out how you end up playing the game cuz I kept swapping back every single chapter between two characters but the one the entire time and then do the other but but I found after I did like some wacky Allen stuff I just wanted some solid detective work and so I went and did The Saga for a bit and stuff I love that yeah then you hang out

for guys tell me what you know about the DLC so that I know what I can and can't discuss um I know that you plays the waitress yeah I know you play as Rose I know you play as the girl from control and somebody from Quantum break right it's three episodes and they're like episodes of night Springs or something yeah so the first one you play as the waitress it's amazing but it's all from her point of view she's trying to rescue Allan but like it's the world according to her what she she's bit n so Allan's house is the um hospital that she uh volunteers at in the game which you'll find out later Matt if you haven't gotten up to it yet not a spoiler um because that's what she knows but of course I've just reskinned an existing environment right

so it's good for them too but it's just full of books because that's what she assumes Alan wake's house would be you know second you play as yeah there's a lady from control I can't remember her name the third one you play as the actor right what who was one of into um no no no the actor who was motion capped into Quantum break who's also in Alan Wake you play him on the set being directed by Sam Lake as himself Sam leg is [ __ ] hilarious I need to install it now I was like because I know you know he was Max Payne but like he didn't do anything as Max pain it's just they based it on him right yeah yeah in this two he's like and not and only the

first one max pay 2 wasn't even his face they got an actual but in Alan Wake 2 like he plays Casey Casey the FBI agent he also plays himself but as an actor the actor Sam Lake yes in in one bit and like and there like a whole sequence where he's like they play a clip from the movie of Alex Casey that he's in and um case yeah Alex Casey yeah and uh that's right and then but it's like just him like hammered it up and I was like at what point did he say bear with me guys what if I'm just in this yeah yeah yeah yeah and also when we do the live thing I'm also in that too just to be clear it's going to be me yeah exactly yeah I'm going to be all over this thing because he's also there's Casey in The Saga case but there's also Casey in the Cold Case movies based on the books that

Alan wrote yeah that's what I mean it's just I just love that he put him for those who don't know he's the head of Remedy right the head of the studio director creative director so they got him in to write the English translation of their first game which was a a car game it's nothing to do with anything it's just car driving game the first remedy game ever for [ __ ] PS1 I think it was and uh and they and he just did the English translation cuz he was the a friend of one of the devs Who had who spoke good English and had a degree in writing and then while he was there he was like do you guys you guys want to hear an idea for a game it's called max pay and just went from there it looks about to tell us what the car game's

called death rally death rally death rally okay I wasn't far off releas in 1996 it was in PC in iOS just top down driving shoot crashing the stuff just RAC doesn't look like a classic remedy so they went from that to Max pain I just think it's funny that you know you know like the film directors will put themselves in you know like Quenton Tarantino in all of his movies reminds me of that a little bit Yeah but also so max pay so far is the only character from the remedy verse that hasn't cropped back up in the this hour wake cycle I don't know I think they has been ref they own him maybe they don't no they they still

own no no yes they must but you're right is it is something to do with that because when they when they got Rockstar on to do number three they had to sign over the right so yeah it probably is something to do with the character right REM the same games they are doing yeah they're doing remake of one and two but three was a different game as well they're totally different I liked it I still finished it but it wasn't nearly as good as as the others I think that his references to hum made it though but also so the there's obviously there's two people that play Allan there's the body face actor and The Voice voice actor but the voice actor is also an onscreen character in control as

well right so cuz I did like when they did the um the the game awards last year and they did the the m music performance and they had the alen Wake actor there and they the other guy singing for him he's actually a decent singer like he's not a bad singer yeah right I actually kind listen to that song again I enjoy it I listen to it this we Alan Wake news for you guys I'm really sorry so I was playing the other night and I got to my very first save point in Allan Wake 2 the coffee thermos and I was like oh yeah I remember you guys talking about the coffee thermos thing MH and that you Dan wanted one but they weren't available anymore like they had had them and they ran out of whatever and I was like I wonder if I can get one in the US so I looked no no no hang on I

I said it's bad news Oh I thought it was bad news for us because you got yourself no no no it's bad news for all of us because I was all one so I I looked Googled right and im8 bit the company that was doing the tie-in yeah on their website the page for the OD diner coffee thermos coming soon mhm 900 a.m. PST the next day and I was like [ __ ] that's that's Destiny yeah I'm I like I'm going to buy like three of these and then I'll just send them to you guys yeah so I sat andert and everything like that kind of thing then I was in a work meeting oh and by the time I got out of the meeting 10 minutes past that's like that's like 12 midday here 10 12 sold out so you want to hear something really

frustrating they were in supermarkets in Finland people are posting on the Alan Wake Reddit if if you get to the such and such downtown store on such and such right now they've sitting on the for 25s because they were going for like 600s the next day eay like 30 bucks I could I hate the on sale for them because like I can talk about it cuz I remember how I may have got the bluey coins I did get the bluey coins yes they haven't arrived yet but I got the email confirming then did you mean to text that to Hannah or was that an accident I there was an auto on her right for me to say coins okay okay won't say what he actually asked for so but they're going for like $600 on eBay

now and I just find it disgusting that that's people that's as low as they'll go you won't take anything under $1,000 no I'm actually looking at opening up the packet and get giving them to like look children I yeah I I don't come on kids well it's sort of like remember when we went to Toys we're at toys us and we brought the lightsabers and we ran outside and we ripped the packets open we fighting with them and all what are you doing but I loved it that people were like guys The Phantom Menace is going to be the best Star Wars and the toys are going to be the most valuable toys out of any that they've ever made yet yeah ah weren't they wrong do you want to have a quick little segue and talk about Star Wars we can Star Wars now did you okay so

I've heard some stuff online and I must say the acolyte sounds really [ __ ] [ __ ] did you watch any Luke I watched the first three episodes cuz that's all watch okay so the third one is the one that everyone's talking about now so I want to know what you think of it I thought the third one was probably one of the better parts of it which the third one's the worst but the whole thing's terrible yeah so just to be clear lesbian witches using the force to get each other pregnant that's that's what people are complaining about to clear the night witches were already a thing from the but it the the thing also getting pregnant by the force is also Anakin being created maybe by the force

come to know about Star Wars and then there's also again I haven't seen it I know people are upset about they refer to the force as the thread or something and the way that talk about the force is fundamentally different to how well the night witches always were I think that ties into Clone Wars stuff yeah that we haven't seen and even in the books and stuff that's always been a thing that the witches didn't use the force way the Jedi did they they saw it as a very different world and that makes sense actually that there's this thing that everyone calls something different it's like it's like in that the third series of actually third series of Walking Dead where they're like oh you call them Walkers that's so funny call them undeads or something like that you know

like it makes sense that there's no just common P for everything to me even goes back to like the Jedi there's only the light side and the dark side whereas for others it's well no there's still this part in the Middle where people don't want that too that's the other thing I've seen people complain about apparently the Jedi are portrayed a bit creepily in this and uh people don't like that as well I'm okay with that actually because I think if if you just look at I thought the prequels made to be honest correct that's what I mean and we found out that the Jedi weren't some Noble thing they they were just this like Ultra right fascist guards you know so actually I'm I'm okay with that direction see for me is Star Wars wasn't about the Jedi en

Force to me when I grew up it was the the X that's why I wasn't particular the show anyway yeah because the show just seemed like it was about Star Wars stuff I don't really care about anyway that's the thing Ian you can't please us really because we all we wanted was something that wasn't about those characters and they chucking heaps of them at us now and we're like well these are also still [ __ ] they're not have you seen like the new Star Wars outs games which I was actually quite looking for Lando pops up oh God no don't need cuz he's black don't [ __ ] message me no but just because they don't need someone from the the original series to show up Own Story there's a whole universe everyone runs into each other

every five minutes I guess I got to maybe I got to watch this show because I I just look at the people arguing online I'm like you all just sound so [ __ ] stupid I think it is I think the people arguing cuz I'm not picking up they're seeing I did people who are hardcore like they can do no wrong and it's perfect and then the people who are hardcore like it's [ __ ] ruining my childhood you all sound stupid yeah they're both wrong so yeah cuz the thing the the thing that I also I've I've seen a lot of people annoyed legitimately it seems annoyed that there's not enough white people in this in the acolyte right okay I don't know

have one of them right but she thinks that's the reflection of the black Barbie right not the white Barbie because it's got black hair sure she doesn't notice that some of the Skins are different colors to the other skins she just notices that they've got different color hair so that must be this one she doesn't know she's black it's it's very cool to watch yeah yeah there's no yeah they're not thinking about it in the same way don't notice it literally doesn't notice it just goes oh this must be her reflection cuz she's got black hair and I'm like interesting great sure thing the thing I actually noticed in the acolyte wasn't the the human characters I thought it was weird the alien characters they seemed a bit like he's one alien he's one alien Ro he

off to the point they they sacked him and got Harry Styles instead that's funny um and then she had an affair with Harry Styles on set got divorced from her husband Chris Pine Chris Pine no from Jason sedus Jason sedus where was Chris Pine involved he's in the movie too but I think yeah he was involved because I think he had an affair with somebody too and then allegedly yeah I think everyone was [ __ ] each other and then allegedly um what's his name that Harry sty spat on Chris Pine yeah yeah yeah cuz yeah I think they were rivaling for the affections but um they're all good uh at first I thought is Harry Styles not good in this but actually proved himself to be good this is one of those movies

be like he's a selfish narcissistic [ __ ] and the only reason he doesn't just kill everybody and do whatever the [ __ ] he wants is he's so narcissistic that he wants people to like him like him and he only behaves that way because he thinks he has to otherwise people will think he's a horrible man and he get he'll get sad and and the reason I like the show is because as it goes on he does start kind of [ __ ] up and then he's people seem to like me anyway and it's kind of an allegory for kind politically what's going on these days where it's like but I I'm Amazed by this because I haven't seen it and I know that's the case like just from yeah the who plays homelander is [ __ ] great there's so much go in his face like a lot of the time yeah
