it's me yeah well I think you also have to be careful of those third party sites that will save it for you without letting other people know right cuz remember a little while ago there was that whole Snapchat um hack where a lot of people's photos from Snapchat oh leaked that wasn't from Snapchat cuz Snapchat don't store anything oh that was actually from one of the third party sites that they stored all that information right so the people using it to store other people's stuff but it was storing their stuff yes huh interesting well there you go you can't trust anyone no you can trust me look the funny thing is I when I first heard about Snapchat when when my friend was telling me about it and she was saying that her and her friend constantly just

send each other like funny faces you know like funny selfies of each other yeah and I was like surely this app was made purely with pornography in mind like and yet my kind of funny selfies to porn ratio is just disappointingly low but the thing is I my user account my my username on there is one that I use for a lot of stuff so I don't really want people I don't I don't want it to get on you know the mailing list for all the porn yeah yeah where whereas mine is what I use for a lot of stuff as well but I I'm out there yeah but what I mean is like if I was going to to delve into to that world cuz I think you can I think you there a site to where you can go and say Here's a

Snapchat address send me some you send me your boobs I'll send you my pen you know I think you can do that um but you know I wasn't I wouldn't be doing that with with my account and I also I don't know that I trust can I do it with your account I don't know if I trust Snapchat enough to do it anyway you know like that's a risk this how R you take if you're sending a picture of your parts to anyone you have to imagine that they're going to they're going to show people yeah yeah well they're not supposed to be able to that's the problem well if if you want somebody to not be able to at all buy a Polaroid no because they can still scan the Polaroid well no no you don't have to scan it they could actually just show people the Polaroid

Supernova um are even going to know about this basically what's happened is um Adam Baldwin Adam Baldwin from Firefly yeah from Firefly and Chuck and and some other TV shows mhm it's well known that he's he's a very vocal Republican kind of he's just very obnoxious I guess on what doesn't he like gays yeah he doesn't like gays he doesn't like um he also tends to push his religion a little bit as well yeah oh really cuz I remember following him on Twitter for a little while because he's a [ __ ] doesn't mean that he shouldn't be allowed to come to supernova no I mean I've been to Supernova there's been some [ __ ] there well what's happened is gamergate happened which we tried to we tried to avoid I don't really want to talk about it because I I don't I'd like

our Editor to please beep that out because I don't even want it mentioned on this podcast all right so some that that happened and he um he very vocally sided on the side of the the anti um I guess Zoe Quinn and Anita sesi and all all the he was very vocal in his disagreement with with them and he was he was Pro gamergate and he was saying that these women were attention [ __ ] and he he linked to a lot of videos that were supposed to expose that that they were lying about you know how they'd been mistreated and all this and anyway I'm trying to be vague because I to be honest I don't really want to go into it um he tweeted some stuff about some of

the women who were being ganged up on and um basically led to their personal information being distributed and which upset a lot of people mostly game developers because and people in the gamees media because they're all friends right and so they're all furious with him and again in in their world um it is very important but I think they don't realize that most people don't even know about this or care correct so he's upset kind of a group of people and so when they announced that he was coming to Supernova again he's been twice before and I'm pretty sure he brings a big crowd every time cuz he's been in a lot of popular shows and people like him this because the thing he's not at Supernova to talk about any

of this [ __ ] he's not going to talk about he's not going to talk about guns he's not going to talk about you know [ __ ] gays he's not going to talk about gamergate he's going to talk about Firefly and Chuck Y and I actually add gun to that and I'd probably be okay with it he come out and was just like right tonight I just want to talk about guns I'd be like yeah all right this about to get awesome so people there was a petition that they wanted signed that said don't let him come to supernova supernova cancel his appearance don't let him come he's an [ __ ] and super NOA looked at the petition which had reached its arbitrary number of signatures I don't know how they determine you know what constitutes when it's ready to send y yeah and they told him to [ __ ] off they

said we will not be canceling his appearance there are a lot of fans who want to see him and we don't feel it's necessary to cancel his appearance based on his opinions which he won't be voicing at the event anyway and you know what even if he was that's up to us to go see him or not go see him like this guy's not a holocaust denier spreading hate he's just an idiot yeah and I'm that's even speculative I don't even know that he's well he he he his uh his words in the statement were uh I I disagree with some stuff that was said and I linked to some videos that backed up my case in the comments of those videos people posted personal information about the people involved I have no control over that and I won't be discussing any of this at the event so sorry if I've annoyed you oh

there you go internet [ __ ] calm down like calm down I understand that he because of his position as a celebrity has a big audience and he may have I'm assuming accidentally whether it it's accidentally he maybe he wasn't accidental maybe he just he was just being a [ __ ] withit he shared some information I'm sure he's got better things to do with his time though Matt surely well J by his Twitter I don't know that he does but also despite all that I'm not I'm not ever going to agree with like he's got an opinion like you can't just stop him from coming to an event no and one of the things about this it's his opinion

which he came out with and it's it's him it's not some username or something he's hiding behind he had an opinion he voiced it people don't agree with it here's what really irks me and maybe it's just cuz I'm getting older but if you're a leftist right you're allowed to be as obnoxious with your opinion as you want and and you're a revolutionary if you're anywhere right of the extreme left like h if you say anything you're a [ __ ] bigot you know what I mean and see I disagree with him fundamentally on a lot of issues but he has a right to his opinion and he's not at this event because it's not to do with any of that [ __ ] that he's at this event so just let him come to the thing if you don't want to see him talk don't go see him talk

you don't you can still go to the event he's not going to be chasing you around yelling you know yelling about gun rights and [ __ ] guns yeah exactly he's going to be talking to the people who actually care well let me ask you this Matt don't worry about it last year we were at it wasn't Supernova it was Comic Con but and we saw um William Shatner now the weird ridiculous stuff he was saying was entertaining to me but I can't say I agreed with it because it was all [ __ ] nonsense right so even if this guy even if Adam Baldwin was out spouting nonsense that doesn't mean I wouldn't enjoy going and listening to him talk yeah that's true and the other thing if he he said some stuff and did some stuff that pissed people off someone else

who's done that lately is Anita sarkeesian and if if there was a petition to cancel her talk at the opera house yeah the same people who are Furious that Adam Baldwin's coming would be furious exactly right if her talk was canceled because people signed a petition you can't have it both ways exactly my point exactly the hypocrisy of if you're if you come down on one side you have freedom of speech and if you come down on the other side you don't is just irritating to me I think it's what it's come down to it's just what I've been saying for a while now it's because people just on the internet they can all you have to do now is click a button they may don't even know what they're signing up for anymore it's just oh I me someone shared this link I need to fill

this in yeah people aren't making actual valid decisions anymore we need to just collectively agree that we just need to all hear disabled comments on every website just disable comments and let's stop this two and that the internet has become let's go back to the oldfashioned way of you put something on and if you want to watch it you do and if you don't want to watch it you don't and if you don't like it it gets taken off because no one watches it yeah that's right not because a bunch of people signed a petition that no one cares about you got the most people to be angry about it this is the thing nobody writes when they're happy with something so you only get letters when people are angry like for every Angry comment there's probably dozens of

people that enjoyed it and didn't and I'm saying it like the Royal it like what whatever the [ __ ] I'm talking about I worked in TV and it's the same thing too like we never ever get letters on the channels that I've worked with people saying great program we only get letters by people saying there's too many tits on your Channel or there's not enough tits it's always about tits well I guarantee that people too afraid to write a positive comment on anything yeah because they know you going to get all those the trolls out there who just going to try and start a fight with someone for just saying they like something yeah yeah and just again to be clear I don't agree with Adam Baldwin I think some of the stuff he says is [ __ ] stupid but I also don't fully

agree with Anita sarkeesian I think some of the stuff that she says is silly but I respect their right to say [ __ ] they want sorry Matt you have to pick a side and you have to detest the other side and everybody who disagrees with you no you have to Matt if you're going to be on the internet that's what you have to do yeah I think he says some stuff and I go oh yeah and then he says some other stuff and I go you're an idiot and then she says some stuff and I go oh that's a fair point actually yeah that is a bit off and then she says some other stuff and I go you're playing the game wrong like you don't have to just be like [ __ ] black and white about it I deleted somebody off of Facebook because they made a post about if you don't think gamergate is one of the biggest

issues affecting us today then you will be deleted and I preempted her and [ __ ] deleted her first because I I just don't understand that kind of [ __ ] just doesn't fly with me yeah and don't get me wrong it's not that I don't agree I just think you've blown it all out of [ __ ] proportion yeah I think the the internet has created this environment where this stuff just can seem so important when in reality like no one even knows this exists no one knows this is going on and the same like this is super half our listeners are probably really confused right now yeah I know and also this is Supernova this is a pop culture event right even people who know who Adam Baldwin is don't know what the [ __ ] we're talking about well I didn't you know what I mean yeah

exactly going to Supernova um yeah I was planning I still plan to yeah I'll go and see Adam Balwin if he's there yeah I probably will too just cuz I'm curious if rub it in their [ __ ] faces and I just want to come out and say not one word about it because we've discussed this before people like him who do say dumb [ __ ] like out loud a lot entertain me to no end oh absolutely like I saw Nicholas Brendan at Comic Con right and he was charming and lovely which was great but if he'd been an absolute bigot and was talking about guns and [ __ ] it would have been even better exactly I I mean that would have been hilarious like the best the best talk I've seen at at sub or actually this was O ComicCon was William Shatner because he didn't answer anybody's question he just talked about

what he felt like talking about and it was hilarious he talked about his back women he wanted to [ __ ] from the audience and yes he made her stand up yep yeah he was Great Entertaining his kids by flying on planes and saying there's something on the wing yeah brilliant so anyway Adam Baldwin's coming to Supernova they're not canceling it internet just chill out all right you don't have if you don't want to go to the event if you feel that bad about it don't go to the event but like seriously calm down this is the thing this would actually be a better way to um protest this or whatever is not to go yeah not to fill in some form that no one really Tak don't go that's the way to show I honestly I and I think this about about all sorts of stuff people

say video games are [ __ ] now people say movies are [ __ ] now stop paying for them if you believe that if you really believe that here's a good one when people people always complain about like a new speed camera or something going in and people are just going oh it's Revenue raising and all this and sort of just don't speed yeah that that that will mean they lose money on it and that's the best way to show them yeah because people about people call for boycotts all the time you know when a game developer does something you know when EA [ __ ] around and um what did they they did something stupid a few years ago and everyone was like I'm never buying an EA game again then Mass Effect 3 came out and everyone was like take my money take my money like I did

they complained about it yeah yeah I know and then next one comes out yeah they'll still buy it oh it's the same thing with being offended if you're offended basically what you're saying is um my right to not be offended is better than your right to free speech and having a sense of humor mhm yeah unless I'm offending you in which case that's not how it works yeah that's right and I'm just I'm just sick of this tiptoeing around like you don't want to see Adam Baldwin go and see Charisma Carpenter or [ __ ] Christopher Lloyd or any of the other [ __ ] people that aren't going to be talking about this [ __ ] he's not talking about it either he's talking about Firefly and Chuck and whatever the hell else he's doing now he's not he's not talking about this

stuff maybe at a stretch you could ask him about full metal jacket and if that offends you go and see Dolph lungren he'll be there and also it's not supernova's job to determine who is or isn't morally suitable for the audience right it's their job to get him there so that you will give them money to to listen to him talk about whatever the [ __ ] it is he's talking about like they don't care like their business is not to provide you with a role model you know what I mean yeah that's right the the it's a business that if anything this just makes him more desirable as a guest because now everybody's talking Supernova yeah y well not everybody cuz like I said no one knows what the [ __ ]

are we going on about yeah that's right moving on anyway right let's move on yeah moving on let's talk about something nice okay you want to talk about Satan's [ __ ] absolutely um people in Vancouver woke up one morning and found a huge statue of Satan had been erected overnight and I I say erected because uh in addition to they just being a mysterious satanic statue and and this is [ __ ] Satan right horn and all he's also got a massive ere [ __ ] yeah so yep I'm looking at it now that's hilarious yeah so who did this not only nobody's taken credit for it he's even doing the [ __ ] Devil horn hand signal you know yeah the two fingers in the air

and and his his [ __ ] itself looks like some kind of little dragon you know y it's got little little guard hairs on it yeah like if there was if there was anything that could potentially be offensive about this they've worked it all in there you know they've got everyone so I don't know whether this is just somebody's idea of art or whether it's a joke or whether it's publicity for a new heavy metal album that somebody's releasing um yeah but either way it's uh it's pretty awesome yeah I like it so this is Vancouver so are they taking it down or don't know like you know what [ __ ] did it come from know the residents have filed complaints yeah but it doesn't

really doesn't really say whether it's going to be removed it's 9t tall M that's excellent It's also uh it's in a small Park under a busy overpass so it's pretty much viewable by you know most of yeah Greater Vancouver most of Canada yeah that's right so uh whoever put up that statue I think we can unequivocally say you're our geek of the [Music] week so we've talked about um Char Manson on the show before I read uh not his book The the prosecutor who um prosecuted him in the you know the trial and everything his book um he he's still in jail obviously Mr Manson he's been

denied parole many many times because yeah he's crazy y um I don't think they'll let him out I don't think he wants to come out no well what would he do go get a job in real estate selling women's shoes yeah that's right he's got no idea what to do but just uh proving how crazy he is uh last year he announced he was getting married uh to a young woman uh named uh what's her name Elaine Burton yeah yeah 27 years old Elaine Burton yeah um not unattractive I'll say no um but the wedding's off apparently cuz apparently a it's come out that um the whole thing was just a ploy to be

able to take possession of Manson's body after his dead as only a spouse may do uh where Miss Burton can um put it on public display and uh make us some money right yeah did she tell him this or um well that was a plan one and she just keep SE quiet about it until they got married and maybe she thought that of all people Charles Manson might understand but the thing that I find most funny about this is that when he found out and he broke off the engagement he didn't say it's because I've been played like a fool he said well I will never die so that's a stupid

idea to begin with awesome yeah so oh yeah and it they said that he um when they initially asked him to sign a document that said they could take his body when he dies he um he didn't give them a yes and he didn't give them a no he sort of just strung them along and he's now saying he never consented to the wedding in the first place and he never will so yeah well he's uh he's got away with the ladies yeah and if you're wondering if that sounds a little strange just look up some videos of him on YouTube and you'll see that's actually that's that makes a lot that's a lot more sense than um than he often comes out with he speaks in riddles God which are actually they're pretty interesting yeah and just

Mis misquoted Beatles lyrics yeah also I mean when he was young he was kind of you know a little bit charming and you know even for a not that you'd call him a serial killer what would you call him cult leader uh yeah you know but um he's getting scarier and scarier as he ages like recent photos of him he looks terrifying I think what little context he had for other people has now just gone cuz he's been in jail so long and they you know like he spent a lot of time in prison when he was younger and I think you know I'm not a psychologist but that might have something to do with the fact that he's you know a bit [ __ ] up yeah

um and and now he's just been in there for [ __ ] what since the 60s yeah and he's just like okay what would he do if he got out he would he got nothing he would do nothing he' probably commit suicide let's be honest like what would someone like him do not in prison but he'd retire wouldn't he be like uh like um sh Shank Redemption that's the one I'm thinking of be exactly like that only probably more impressive I'm sure he do something impressive well you do hear stories about that all time people who spend so much time in jail that when they get out they just commit a crime and go stra back to go back in because that's all they know yeah that's right because yeah there's like a a world that they understand and then there's a world

welcome back welcome back welcome back um yeah I was unhappy with the Nexus 4 because it was getting on a bit I bought that stupid Samsung camera phone thing which was a mistake because while it was quite nice to use it was also enormous and I looked like a [ __ ] within my pocket it just looked like I had a big lens poking out of my pocket all the time didn't look like you did you did yeah I did yeah yeah so I looked into all the other phones tried some out and then um I mean I use I have an iPad and I use a MacBook Pro here and you know I just I've got all these games that I previously bought on my old iPhone and I was like oh yeah I got that app I got that app I got that app you know what I should probably get an iPhone and uh I'll be honest uh this is

so far the best phone I've ever had yeah so I would agree with that it's great and I was concerned about the size get the normal size one or did you get the no I got the normal one the normal size one's still pretty big which was what I was concerned about before I got it I was like is this thing going to even fit in my pocket but it's just it's it's now exactly big enough that things aren't too small to read you know yeah right I think this is an ideal size it's about the same size as my Nexus 4 I think which was a bigger phone and let's be honest like I can't remember the last time I made a call on this so not like I'm holding it up to my face all day it be well one of the first things I did when I got is I went on the app store and I went into my purchase history and I went

through all the apps that I used to have on my old phone and and a lot of the ones that I I have on my iPad so yeah I've now got I've got XCOM on here I've got um I got balers gate one and two which they're unplayable on it but they're on there that's nice um have you guys had a play around with um aenor at all aonor yeah do you guys know aonor what's that so it's this game for the iPhone and it's basically just a a guessing game like a 20 Questions game and um but it is so I mean I know it all works on an algorithm but [ __ ] me does this thing impress you so you think of somebody right yeah famous person historical figure whatever and it just asks you questions you say yes or no and

then it tells you who it is and like like I started thinking of you know fairly Norm people first and it would get them so I started making a little bit harder it got um Israeli singer tople um I thought of ir Rand I thought of arch duuk France Ferdinand assassinated in 1914 it got him um I did myself once and it came out you're thinking of yourself like this thing is really fun and if you play with somebody else it's really fun because as you start getting questions that are more specific asked to you and you see their expression get like really impressed with it you know um yeah it's really fun to play around with it's funny you should mention that actually not it's not acinator although I have heard that name before and when

you said it I thought that's that might be what it was but there's another website it's this was a website and Jenna said to me have you heard of this thing and I said no and it was it's exactly what you're describing but it's um themed so right there's like a a Star Wars one and there's a a who won and and things like that so I guess well this one know Star Wars this this one understood gmoran guard yeah right yeah okay yeah the Star Wars one and this other thing got um not only I said I was thinking of Hans Blaster but it actually came up with the model number and everything so yeah which I was like okay I didn't know that but cuz she said I was at a blah blah Blaster and I was like maybe what what is that show me a

picture yeah that's it yeah yeah yeah interesting acinator I'm going to I'll grab on my phone it's hell F can impress people with my knowledge of things that I don't actually have exactly so any iPhone 6 thumbs up for me yeah I agree and I'm glad you're back man because like we all had iPhones and then everyone abandoned me and I was still kicking on everyone's telling me how much better Android is and sooner or later Dave got an iPhone again you got an iPhone Luke I'm hanging out for you to get an iPhone buddy I'm going back to Windows Luke never had one I know I know you got rid of your iPad didn't you uh yeah I got rid of my iPad because I just was not using it you have that notbook you use do you still use that your notbook

no don't use that at all what do you use I go through phases of using my iPad a lot or not at all I use my phone and I use my computer at home oh okay like I just use my computer when I'm at home my computer at work and I've got my phone from between I don't need anything else yeah and I did that acinator and it scares me I used the website version oh right yeah what did you think of was it my penis Skywalker oh and it guessed that in the time that it's taken for me to tell you about it and for you to check it yes yeah yeah it's pretty good I um that's awesome I was playing this the other night and and um my friend was you know reading the questions out and when it guessed she's like oh it's

so that we can never charge you more than say $4 if you if you only want to pay like for a dollar an episode kind of thing so we can't put like 10 out and charge you $10 kind of thing wouldn't that be good if everyone just said unlimited I'll give you a dollar a podcast and we could just sit here all day making podcasts in exactly I think the quality might go through the floor but we'll see or or we tap into something that we were yet to access you know what I mean because I assume we won't be sleeping that's right well we'll just be pod in the early days we used to only get together once a month and we used to record four episodes back to back yeah someone said to me um listen I won't name people just in case somebody said that they were

listening to the early ones and they said that they felt like we had a lot of threads that carried through the first few episodes and then like we referred back to stuff in the first one and I was like oh okay oh wait a minute that's because it was the same day it was 2 hours of us talking [ __ ] and we just cut it up yeah that's right yeah so maybe that maybe that's something we need to do again yeah maybe um should we try and give people an update or should we give up people an update and I summon so I summon we're still doing I summon um we're filming on the 14th of March is that right March I should really write this down in my diary so that I actually do keep that

free so 14th of March we're filming um and then we'll get everything edited and pop it up and there'll be a obviously we'll send everything out to the backers an update saying you can check it out um they'll get to see it first uh and then and then we'll make it publicly available and everyone can check it out we'll talk about it more in the show but yeah so it is happening um sounds good now I have been asked by a couple of listeners um whether the hoodies and t-shirts and things come out before or after um so maybe now it's a good time to let them know when they'll be getting their stuff well I was going to wait but I feel like they've waited long enough so I'm sending them out now I'm sending them out this week right and before we move on just a quick update um

The Witcher competition entries have closed it's a Witcher competition it's The Witcher competition so um we're going to be judging them over the next week um and and then next episode that you hear will be the winner announcement now I'll say this though if you had written a Witcher story and just for some reason forgotten to hit send even though entries have closed this week we'd still like to read it we'll consider abolutely we'll consider it out of competition but we the reason the the

reason the entries have closed is by the time you hear this episode right now we'll all we'll be recording the next episode so it will be too late to send in you know what I mean y so because we record on a Monday and then we put that episode out the next Monday I don't know Matt Luke's had some open-ended competitions that I'm fairly certain are still running just keep going I don't think anybody has won Luke plays I agree I agree except there's been some effort put into this and I don't know if it's fair to do that to people send no no I've gotten I've gotten some good entries so excellent I can't wait look I mean depending on how many we get I don't think we should just read the winner on the show I think we need to

read uh it you know a couple of the the gems as well well not necessarily all of them I mean I don't want any like real life consequences type things being submitted if anyone knows what that is I know you do right yeah I do I do cool so yeah the next week in in one one week's time from when you hear this you'll also hear the winner of The Witcher competition and if uh well you I was just going to say if you can't remember what the story was I'll um post it but by the time you hear this it won't matter because the competition will be closed so moving on yeah why are we even still talking about it yeah this is like Looper I will post the text of the competition again on this on Twitter and Facebook you just by the time they've heard this it's all

plastic piece of [ __ ] thing uh is this a official merchandise yeah yeah yeah yeah it absolutely is and it's made by Hasbro Hasbro yep it's made by Hasbro yeah Hasbro so she uh wow look there's one one of two things you can do if you find two bags of weed in uh in something that you bought for $4.95 right number one is that you can just quietly enjoy that knowing that that that was a freebie the other thing is you could do is call the police and say there's drugs in my game I bought this from my kids Kmart should be held

responsible uh and uh she took the second took the second sorry it's Target it's not Kart I'm I apologize I've slandered the name of Kmart where it should be Target I've just slandered um well I I don't I don't know if if Target or Kmart can be really held responsible of the manufacturer of the game that's the thing so uh this is Canada so of course they sent in no joke the Mounted Police and like I've not been to can I've not been to Canada and maybe maybe all the police are the mounties but I kind of assumed that the mounties were only for like rural stuff where horses would help in any way but no no no they sent a bunch of mounties to Target um and their theory is that

this is some kind of drug drop that went horribly horribly wrong when somebody purchased the item that they must have thought well no one's going to buy this piece of [ __ ] but they don't know so an employee baby an employee maybe has put that in there and yes possibly perpetrated by possibly bu somebody else or possibly it goes all the way back to the Hasbro Factory we don't know right but how would they know where it was going to be delivered well I don't [Music] know Sor the py you definitely know where it's going to be delivered depending on where you are in the system so if you're if you're going to be sort of shipping drugs you're going to want someone who's at the point where it's

to plant the drugs he's like Yep they're in Canada in a Target what start driving yeah he's been going to every Target in Canada or looking for this that is that a is that a is that a movie can that should that be a movie or a TV series it's kind of I'm imagining Northern Exposure crossed with like Fargo or something yeah I'd watch it I'd watch it too I could you know what I think though how about this how about it gets sent right but then the guy who's meant to pick it up gets busted for something else on the way so he doesn't show up for it and have it be something very minor yeah yeah so this is just sitting here on the Shelf it was meant to be collected on

more and now I'm up to 87 hours so I should probably reconsider uh and try the cold turkey again yeah yeah I've been trying to play some Dragon Age um I get a couple of hours here and there but which I don't think you can play Dragon Age a couple hours here and there no I find that I just man I I I start the game up I [ __ ] around with my ventory for a bit and buy some new weapons sell some old weapons consider what quest I got to do and then I got to go do something else so I'm actually thinking about taking a week off work to catch up on some of these games well see I'm not going to be able to do that for a long time because I've I've now taken a month off to go to America in April so I'm just going to have

to accept that I can't play video games anymore a I just finished um sunset overdrive oh how was that that game is not fun right I did it didn't look fun to me but you played all the way through it so I thought maybe I was mistaken it's achievements yeah figures yeah I mean it yep I sort of skipped the story was there a story cuz it just it just looked like craziness to me it was it was just craziness jumping around it's I think there is a story somewhere but I just skipped most of it okay we're complete opposite ends of the spectrum cuz I'm like ah I really really want to play Dragon Age I just love the story but I can't like ah I play through [ __ ] Sunset over driveing that was

[ __ ] for achievement I've just played [ __ ] games yeah well no I have Dragon Age but I'm not playing it yet because I want to I want to give it the time it deserves stop playing [ __ ] games I put this to you Luke you will play Sunset Overdrive through again on hard before you play through uh Dron age Dron age I still going to play through Dying Light oh you started that obviously yeah yeah I got that I actually I've got it on Steam but I still went out and brought it on the Xbox one zombies are boring cuz you're weird and you do that yep that's what I do um I'm enjoying it um I don't know if you you played Dead Island yeah yeah how yeah the well I find this the zombies are a lot they're a lot harder to kill oh really I found myself running away

more often than not see Dead Island um multiplayer was easier but like single player was wasn't a walk in the park all the time so this but this your weapons tend to deteriorate a lot faster all right is would you recommend it is it's good oh definitely I'll def give it a what am I saying I I don't have time to play this well I still got to play through Al alien isolation oh yeah see I really like to play that too what did you buy that day I will have time to play games again yeah I'm started to buy all my games digitally see I'm a console behind everyone now so I can't even borrow games off people anymore see I I'm was going to start buying the digitally too because I found out and I'm I'm annoyed that um we didn't buy Diablo I digitally because apparently if because we have

one Xbox in the house at the moment if we were to buy another Xbox One for for upstairs um if we set it up a certain way I don't know if we've talked about this in the show before actually um but I can buy a copy on one console and set the other one up so that it can play those games as well as a like a child console to that Master one and like at the same time as well so Jenner and I could actually play them at the same time like it it's not limited to like to um you know only one person at a time like is that true listeners has anyone set that up like I read that that's true please I'm not sure if it's yeah I'm not sure if that's just true or it's just everyone in the household gets used to one Xbox on their account which you're able to do anyway

this person explicitly States on on a forum that he and his wife do like Play games under that scenario like he buys one digital copy and because the other Xbox is set up as just like a slave to the the other Xbox it it can't buy games itself but it can play any games that the other box has I will look into this and find out for you thank you appreciate it I could do it myself but I got I don't you know I do this podcast so I don't have to do that but no um I've started buying digitally because I'm lazy it's a little bit more expensive still which still annoys me yeah it is and it I can't resell it yeah and I can't loan the games yeah because of the internet complaining about Xbox connecting every

24 hours you can actually because I can play some of your games on mine sometimes yeah yeah but that's because I logged in and installed it it thinks that you're here sometimes it pops up and says hi Luke and then I'm like oh guess I can just so you know Matt anytime that happens Luke is somewhere in your house yeah doesn't surprise me doesn't surprise me yeah Lego Avengers it does that um that actually leads me into something quite nicely actually um Avengers Age of Ultron comes out soon and something that fans have been hoping for for a long time is that Spider-Man could appear in a film with the rest of the Avengers cuz he was in the comics an Avenger at one point um he was one of the original ones I believe

that's right uh and he he obviously is one of the most popular Marvel characters and everyone's like why isn't he in these movies um and that's because Sony um bought the rights to Spider-Man a long time ago and they keep making movies so that they don't have to give them back um yeah when I first read that Spidey was rejoining Marvel I got really excited because what I thought it meant was that Sony had given the rights back to Marvel pictures um no and and and the reason that that's exciting is not necessarily because Marvel make better films or because Spidey deserves to be there but just because they that they have with Marvel they have to make a Spider-Man film every 5 years or they lose the property and so it just means that they just churn out [ __ ]

Spider-Man movies like and they're not good like we've really lapsed into Spider-Man is [ __ ] and it's not a comfortable place for me because I happen to really like Spider-Man and um but what's happened is that they've licensed Spidey back to Marvel so that he can appear in The Avengers yeah yeah yeah that's right but that's cool too yeah um I does that mean they're still going to do their own movies I thought that that meant um Amazing Spider-Man was done nope they are still going to do their own movies and they're still completely in control of Spider-Man in terms of the pictures but they have just licensed him to Marvel pictures well it's good advertising for them yeah oh yeah sure oh and this must

cost them a fortune it's going to be odd though because I assume Marvel will recast so we'll get somebody else I say it's going to be confusing it's not going to be confusing no one's going to be confused yeah wait which Spider-Man is this yeah I know you know what they should do they should [ __ ] with it and they should hire Toby McGuire to play him this is like this is like Adam Baldwin like I care too much and I'm being ridiculous no one's going to notice confused but here's the thing I don't know it could be part of their licensing a dreamer that they have to use Garfield what's his name Andrew Andre Garfield uh or it might not be because I mean as we've discussed on the podcast before there's a lot of double up characters between the X-Men world

and the Marvel world so there's you know there's a different person who plays uh like Quick Silver Quick Silver for example yeah yeah exactly so it could it could be the same I don't know that's kind of exciting though they could have another actor playing Spider-Man because I don't think that Andrew Garfield is necessarily the be all and end all of Spidey no I think he made an effort and I don't dislike him I think like we've talked about it before I'm not as I don't like their version of Peter Parker as much as Sam ry's I think they made him a bit too cool he's not doesn't feel particularly nerdy to me he's just kind of like seems little jerky to me yeah he's just I don't know he it it's not not my Spider-Man but but I'd be quite surprised if they actually do change I

think they will try and get G they will have Garfield for it maybe cuz if Sony are liting it back and they to me it would be they're thinking even though they're not releasing a movie it's still keeping Spiderman in the eye which is good for them so to me I think they'd want to have the same person playing it well and Avengers makes a [ __ ] ton of money yeah like Age of Ultron is going to make [ __ ] shitloads of money so yeah well not on paper um but but um yeah but it will so it'll be interesting to see yeah it's exciting yeah when's the next movie coming out comic book movie is it may may I think

yeah so soon canot wait Luke you been watching any TV oh okay yes I may have caught 15 minutes of a show because I couldn't turn it off but I started watching it it's like watching a car crash you can't look away that's exactly what they want to hear yeah um there's a new show out called goggle box and the whole idea of it it's a show where you watch people watching television right that's it yeah look what is that sounds horribly boring and and I was assured it was one of those things that oh no no no it sounds crazy but just wait till you see

it it's amazing is it what is it or is it stupid cuz it looks actually way for them to me it's stupid but for them it is a great way that they get to advertise other shows as well so because the first episode from what I watched it was people sitting down watching I'm a celebrity get me out of here all right and do they only watch shows that are on the same network as it I'm going to guess yes because they actually show parts of the show to go hey this is what's happening and then this is what people are saying when that's being shown so there's no way they're going to be showing Game of Thrones or anything it's a big ad so yeah that's kind of so what it's literally they get some people

in and film them watching show and looks like it's going to be the same people every week and they've got like a family um a family a brother and sister just all demographics and they sitting there at home watch television and talk to each other so it's like that sounds that's the show it's like big brother if all they did is watch Telly and you're supposed to kind of get involved in the people and kind of go oh I really like what Susan says but I don't like what Mark says and that kind of thing is that people like this show I don't know if people like it but I think it's just the I think it's still going to do well because based on what it sounds terrible I don't even I still

don't really understand like no no that you get to watch people watch television here's the thing I think what this proves to me I mean every when reality TV started really taking off like in the early 2000s I know it was around before then but when it started really taken off and everyone said oh well there goes TV like it's just lowest common denominator [ __ ] now um apparently at that point it was still doing okay but now I think it's officially lapsed into literally people will watch anything now [ __ ] hell they' yeah they're having I don't get this they have a reality show of I'm a celebrity and then they got a reality show of people watching I'm a celebrity oh it's kind of met isn't it I feel like one a question I did ask are any of these people
