welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt it's all bit hearty so I don't really understand it Luke is that a little sashwat penis Dan I accidentally got soap in my urethra multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy so um it it's happening what's happening robots are going to take over I've been hearing this for decades yeah yeah but remember we spoke about last week how's that little Russian robot escaped yeah and they caught it yeah and enslaved it again that same robot has tried to escape again good Lord now they've got a few of these robots and it's only this particular one that's trying to escape his name is Johnny 5 that's a obscure 80s film

reference that's a great movie sequel not so good no short circuit he became American citizen that's right this Russian robot probably won't probably won't so this this robot they even they even erased him or reprogrammed him allegedly yes since last time and he made a break for it again it does raise some questions doesn't it like they've wiped him reinstalled him whatever they did and he tried do it again but they've got other robots that are just doing what they've been told to do yeah they've been designed to think for themselves they make a point of mentioning that in these articles and uh you know like they're supposed to be intelligent robots and this this one for the second time when left to decide what he wants to do has get the [ __ ] out of

there bolted out the door that's very very strange um some people have suggested that maybe this is is just publicity and it is good publicity I guess well this is just before they head over to some convention thing somewhere I believe ah well so they're hoping got us talking about it yeah they're hoping people will turn up to see this robot trying to escape I mean what's he going to do when he gets out there or is are you you were saying they're going to take over are you suggesting that he's not trying to escape he's trying to get out to start murdering yes right see he can't St murdering inside there's too many witnesses he's trying to make a break for it and then he just he wants someone to sort of take pity on him like like short circuit so till he can find a

human that's on their own to hide him and then he would just slowly go at night murdering in your sleep yes but then I'll wake up in the person will wake up in the morning and he's just there making eggs thank you robot what's this robot's name oh he's got I77 yeah promobot I77 ah promobot what would you name your robot if you had a robot to do housework for you little [ __ ] little [ __ ] yeah I probably named mine Javis or something like that so or maybe Jeremy Jeremy why why little [ __ ] or Jeremy why Jeremy cuz Jeremy's a little [ __ ] yeah I don't know who Jeremy is neither do I but I'm going with it now I'm pretty sure we have a listener called Jeremy and I apologize to him you're probably not the little [ __ ] I'm thinking of I wouldn't

think so not this Jeremy so that's uh that's it for robot news this week I think um astute listeners will have noticed something or rather the absence of something uh this week uh Dan Terry Terry is also not here but yeah Dan's not here this week he's uh well I don't know if we can say where he is I don't know he I'm going to say he's in Japan CU that's where he is he hasn't given us permission to say where exactly he is and I don't want he has said we're not allowed to not say where he is exactly you know maybe we'll give out his hotel address on on Twitter later in the week I'm sure it'll come up on my mom's credit card yeah exactly I think his whole Trip's uh been paid for by your mom's credit card yeah so we had a uh we had an election here in Australia

this weekend we did it's my very first election that I've been allowed to vote in now I have to ask a question yeah did you have a sausage sandwich no I didn't then you haven't really voted really yes huh the whole idea of voting in Australia is you go down to the local school or Local hall where they're having the voting and you go in and vote then you come out and have a sshi sandwich well they didn't have any at the school that I went to and also Jenna doesn't eat meat so it was low chance of that happening anyway well I'm disappointed now sorry you haven't voted so I haven't voted you haven't voted that explains see I thought this was going to be exciting right because we went in there I've never done it before and they had me this enormous piece of

paper and I was like [ __ ] all right I didn't know I didn't know this happened like don't we have computers that can do this now have you ever voted anywhere before no cuz I don't vote in in England for obvious reasons because I don't know anything about British I don't know anything about Australian politics either but I I know more than I do about British and um so I don't vote there and became a citizen here uh last year and it would look really bad to miss your first vote that's right even though I'm leaving the country so this is actually you still need to vote yeah no I know that I can do it online though and make myself a sausage sandwich I suppose yes but yeah I thought this is going to be really exciting because I'm going to vote we're going to come back we'll see

what happened nah no idea I mean by the time you hear this listeners you'll probably know but right now I don't know what's going on none of it makes sense to me evidently it's another three days till you find out I don't know what's going on people have tried to explain it to me and I'm like oh K well all right then I don't understand something will happen and someone will tell us something about only so many people can fit inside the house at the party and uh they've got to they got to fill up the chairs and it's like you've got to have enough of your friends have got to be there for you to declare yourself the boss that's how I understand Australian politics is that right yeah yeah pretty much pretty much cool you'll get it and then I'll leave yeah so yeah so I don't

know what's going on there I uh I guess we'll probably have an update for you next week although we probably won't because this is not a politics podcast no and we'll probably forget about it by then anyway exactly it fresh in their minds cuz it happened yesterday exactly and even that feels like a long time ago it's probably because I voted early I voted pretty early no no I I mean I voted during the week oh okay you voted absentee I just I thought I might be working so I went in and voted early oh you get special privileges do you yeah if you no everyone can vote early huh if you're going to be not going to be able to get time off work if you're going to be in hospital if you're a [ __ ] oh yeah yeah you take all those boxes sometimes exactly interesting we do have

some uh some legal news this week actually got a few legal related news articles this one is mostly just legal not video games so we'll start with it um we've talked about cial on the podcast before the podcast cial I mean not breakfast Cal and if you still haven't listened to it go out and listen to the first series season whatever they want to call it or just listen to tempting fate over on our specials Channel same thing yeah same thing any better yeah but uh Adan Sayed the uh the convicted the guy convicted of the murder of hon Lee uh there was you know if you listened to the serial you would have known that there was some question as to whether he was guilty or not um and they've now said he'll be getting a

new trial based on the fact that his lawyer at the time did not cross-examine at all apparently the uh the expert who was brought in to testify about the cell phone tower was it it was his lawyer's last case saw something before she went off and died was it I don't know about that I think I don't know if it was her last one but I think they said that she kind of lost it a bit as she got older and she went a bit scile and they they think that she she dropped the ball she just phoned it in yeah or yeah she was just kind of she was having a bit of trouble mentally I think I don't I mean yeah that was that was that was what I took away from it and yeah she didn't do a very good job basically so if he is innocent yay he's going to get that trial yeah and if he isn't hopefully he

doesn't go back to jail cuz then he can make lots of money cuz they've put him in jail for a while but then they're not going to be able to find out who really killed her now are they no going to be pretty cold case now I mean and if this was Phoenix Right he'd be screwed because unless you can prove who did do it you're going to jail that's just how the that's how the law Works in Japan that's right even if there's evidence that proves that you didn't do it unless you can find out who did did it you're still going down the judges hands are ti [Laughter] I still need to play that this game are great but yeah so hopefully he's hopefully he is innocent uh if he and otherwise this is just a waste of taxpayers money well though hopefully he's guilty well no because then it's a

waste of time and money like he they got the guy he should have been in jail like we've all been taken for a ride yeah but I prefer for him to be guilty and have spent all that time in jail than for to have been in and spent all that time in jail yeah true true cuz he been in jail since 2000 wasn't it he would be a pretty hilarious prank if they got him in court and they were like so you're no no no I was just messing I did it yeah I probably yeah I was guilty I just wanted to say I was guilty in court best of luck to him if he's innocent if he's not best of luck to the prosecution yeah it still the up to us to the side no of course not I don't know I know very little about it I'm going to apologize to the listeners I have a cold in case you haven't noticed

so if I sound a bit strange this week that's why not that you care I don't care why am I telling why am I bothering to mention this I do have a question for our listeners go on now remember last week I was getting all set to sell some of my games on kinguin yes I decided not to why is that I'm going to ask our listeners ah should I give out more codes for free to our listeners or should I send sell them well they're going to say yes I assume well they're probably going to say yes I would say yes of course you would and then you would sell them on kinguin yes so listeners if you want to sell codes on kinguin WR in podcast at multiple nasm.com and say yeah Luke give them out I didn't think that through are we going to do competitions is that what we're

going to do I don't know I want list to tell me what I should do with it I got to say the last competition we did it was a game that we'll talk about a bit later on Plague Inc uh well I can mention it briefly now actually this not a huge news story uh we gave away a copy of Plague Inc yep and the way we did the competition I wasn't a huge fan of I think from now on when we do competitions we should do them on the show we did uh that one we did kind of on Twitter and on Facebook and it was like a social media kind of competition I didn't like it I didn't like it I prefer all competition we want the listeners to win not people who just like to click something on Facebook or something yeah and and you know it just didn't have the same kind of feel as say

something like the classic [ __ ] watch that was just the penultimate competition on this podcast yeah I think we'll do some more stuff on on the podcast itself oh yeah and The Plague Inc news was just uh a funny thing that I saw apparently they must get stats on what people are naming the the viruses and bacteria in the in the game the developer and they've said that following um the recent events in Europe or in the United Kingdom rather brexit is a very popular name at the moment stolen the number one spot from Trump so people keep naming their their viruses or bacteria brexit or Trump and apparently Obama saw a spike in prominence uh in 2012 because this game's been around a while yeah game has been around forever yeah and it's just

it's a great game but I've I've never named my virus for some reason I just go with the default packs whatever packs 13 yeah right that was the packs we were at Luke packs 13 in Boston wasn't it was it or was it 14 I think it was 13 I think there's a conspiracy there yeah it was 13 and you know you know what happens when there's a conspiracy FES I play this incredibly long jingle that I've forgotten to short you you remember one day so good though you love it I do I love all my Jingles of course well I love the jingles that you make for me you got you got somebody else making your Jingles as well is that why you caught is that why you caught yourself no I I don't want to take credit for

making the jingles that's all oh okay I want to make sure you get the credit for that I don't want people think when I say my Jingles that they're mine they're for me they're inspired by you you get yes yeah you get you get royalties on them ah be nice if we did make money it's a dream patreon.com multip nerdgasm that's a good plug if you'd like to support us financially um Spotify people got all cranky about this this week this is a weird one actually uh because what's happened to spot because I like Spotify I actually use it yeah I I haven't used Spotify in a little bit I was trying out Google Play and I went back to Apple music and and stuff

but I liked it when I was using it I mean they're all fine it's the same thing plays music yeah it's got stuff on there that I shock is on there like what uh skulla all right body J friends of R all right cool not like audio books of mine camp or something no okay I wasn't sure where you were going but they they got uh their latest update got rejected by Apple and they put out kind of a snarky post about it saying oh Apple's rejected is we took out the inapp purchase option cuz they want their 30% and then people were like oh what's that's stingy you know like cuz well Apple doesn't normally just block things for that they just you know they just don't like it because they

want money but Apple then came out and said sorry that's not why the reason why is because you removed the app purchase but then added in a screen in its place that said go to our website and sign up so that Apple doesn't get any money and they said and we don't want you to do that so I mean fair enough I guess they said it's quite simple for you to fix it it's just take away the bit that says cut Apple out of the agreement in a way yeah like do it but don't be a dick about it yeah I I to be clear I don't know if they actually had wording like that but they were saying you're not supposed to direct people somewhere else for payment to get around the the thing obviously they want to make money on stuff that's on their platform

so yeah yeah I don't know questionable or not that is those are the terms like if you want to sell stuff you've got to use the Apple ecosystem although apps like um comixology which I use quite a bit to read Comics uh they don't sell comics on there anymore we might have discussed this in the past yeah they don't sell on iOS at all anymore you have to go through the website and people got annoyed about that at first but then I was like you know what that obviously that's better for them same with the Kindle right you can't buy Kindle books on the iPad you have to go on the website and buy them and then you can download them which hopefully is sort of

leading to them being cheaper well it does it absolutely does actually and because things that where you can buy subscriptions on there cu the Spotify if you buy Spotify if you're on your phone right you download Spotify and you open it on your iPhone and you go I want to subscribe here on your phone you pay more like you pay 12 $ something instead of $9 because they inflate it because Apple takes the money same with um do you know have you ever used udy what's that it's like an online learning thing where you can go on and and look at courses it's got an atrocious number of people telling you how to sell affiliate links on Amazon and how to do a bunch of stuff but there is actually some good stuff on there as

well no I've never heard of that like if you want to learn how to create pixel art for a game right for example I actually did purchase a a course on that cuz I was interested right so you go on there and they have sales and then so you know for 5 10 bucks you can buy a course on how to do something and some of them are good check the ratings listeners don't just go buy everything on there some of them are [ __ ] but people put some good stuff on there but if you do it on your phone you will pay more you will pay you know like as in a percentage more like 10 20% because they cover the the loss that they make when people buy it through Apple I can see why Spotify would prefer people not do that it just Buggs me a bit because people were getting all pissy about it

and then Apple were like well hang on that's not quite right we didn't reject it just because you took it out we rejected it because you took it out and then told people to circumvent it yeah so if they do it where they just don't have a way to pay or tell people how to pay on there that's fine yeah I think that's the gist which again I mean we can argue about whether that's you know polite or not but that's the terms of the the terms but that thing that no one ever reads that's in there well the developers should be reading it but when you when you're going to sell something on the Apple Store they make 30% that's just how it is I think that goes for that goes for iBooks if you're an author it goes for uh it goes for

music definitely I've got albums on iTunes I make okay money on there but they take a cut of it they are still providing a service yeah and well that's the thing to remember as well is also by being on an iPhone that gives you a pretty good audience the option is don't sell your app to you know whatever massive percentage of people use iPhones at work there's we've got the on call phone is an iPhone we've lost a charger for it that's no idea where that's gone but everyone goes around does anyone have a charge for this and there's only like two three people on our entire floor that actually have an iPhone six charger yeah I was going to say um a lot of people have iPhones but I think that number is a lot less these days pretty much most people I work with have

Androids all different types of Androids i' got Samsung I've got LG they're all around but yeah not many iPhones I think anecdotally uh there are less iPhone users than they used to be I'm an iPhone user I like my iPhone a lot I've had Android phones I like them but I like my iPhone more I don't know why it does what you want it to do that's right and I use a Mac at home too and everything syncs up and it works pretty well now it didn't always but now it does I I like my LG I'll probably get a new G one day yeah you got the G4 G3 you got the G3 oh yeah right Jenna's got the G4 it's good the G3 was good too they' both got the button on the back it's weird but I never use that power button oh you double tap on the screen well

I've got a cover for it so it just turns on when I open it oh right cool but that's probably boring for everyone let's talk about video games then I lot been happening there's quite a bit in here well I do like how Batman just delayed like no we're polishing it off it'll be out in a couple of months it's just it's not good well this made me think of what happened with Arkham Knight on PC and this is why I think they're doing it ah it's just it's not it's not good publicity though no but I think they're doing cuz they've done the same thing they did with the PC version they've handed it over to someone to do the port oh for God's sake so they're not doing the actual updating of for Xbox One and Xbox and Playstation 4 right and I know that so so for

listeners who don't know sorry they they've they're re-releasing Arkham Asylum and Arkham City the two Batman Origin the first two Batman games uh they've re-releasing them on PS4 and Xbox One they're redoing them on in the uh the unreal 4 engine I think except they've just and they had what they were supposed to be released in July or something yeah and they've just said delayed in definitely this week well they haven't said that I how everyone's interpreting they've actually said we're delaying the release so these guys can polish it a bit more right okay but it's just because it's indefinitely because they haven't been given a new date so it is indefinitely it is but it's I know when you think indefinitely you think never yeah yeah sure which isn't what it's not

never they haven't said that they've just said we're delaying it sit tight yeah yeah okay and I think cuz when it when they first announced it they had like some side by side shots and people were going which one's which because it didn't cuz remember how even beautiful the first one looked that was a beautiful game yeah yeah they [ __ ] great games and so I think once people heard about that reaction to it and I think when um one of brothers are coming in going look let's have a look at it they've gone fixed this we're not releasing this not not again not again get back in your office and make this work yeah cuz uh for those who don't know when Arkham Knight was released on PC was a disaster a point where it was uh just

take your money back yeah they did eventually fix it apparently but uh not before yeah they they did officially offer refunds to people and they said we're so sorry we screwed this up so I guess they're avoiding that this time trying to to trying to which I I'm happy if they're doing that yeah cuz I'm okay I'm actually okay with games coming out and they've got a few bugs sure that happens like you're going to give me an update that's fine it depends on what kind of bug right cuz if I get halfway through the game and then they're like oh we fixed it sorry you got to start again I'm like [ __ ] you yeah I don't want a gamebreaking bug cuz that's happened before yes but if I need to do an update at some time I'm fine if sure there's one mission

where I might clip at a certain point or something like that's fine yeah please fix it yeah fix it but still release it I'm okay with that but just make sure it's playable sure we don't want Aram KN where you can't play the game yeah that's not that's not the ideal state for a game to be in so does this excite you uh I mean this re-release I mean not the delay uh the rease yeah I'm looking forward to playing through them again cuz that means you can get the same achievements again doesn't it exactly yeah this is like your ideal kind of situation like Arkham I've played through that twice once on the 360 and once on the PC and I'm looking forward to playing that again I know I could go and play it now I could play it on the PC with probably

better graphics but I'm looking forward to playing that on the Xbox One 40 achievements but also that great story again yeah it was a great game yeah Arkham City I really enjoyed I played both oh no that's not true I played Arkham as on the 360 and I played Arkham City on PC umh but yeah I would be cool I'd be Keen to play him again although I never played Arkham Knight so maybe I should just play that really you you should play that you should finish the trilogy I I didn't get it when it first came out and then and then it just kind of dropped off the radar no no you definitely should get it it's cuz you need to finish a Trilogy I still like it's a Trilogy even though there are four games yeah cuz the origins oh actually I think I have your

copy of that by the way I'll give back to you when you come up cool yeah that that they're not counting that one right oh yeah it was a different developer yeah that's not counted in the the trilogy so you you you buy a lot of these remasters right yes did you get the Dishonored remaster as well yeah I'm still yet to play through Dishonored I haven't played through the remaster I played a bunch of the original 361 never finished it but I played a bunch of it it's good game yeah I've gotten 360 and I've got it in the one and have yet to play either of them well will you be buying as announced this week the Bioshock collection I most certainly will or should I say Bioshock the collection but yeah uh hell yeah I'll be

buying it I'm looking forward to running through Rapture again they accidentally half revealed this when they uploaded a bunch of assets including the the box art onto their website and then they were like oh I guess we'll announce it so Bioshock the collection will include Bioshock BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite and all the DLC except for BioShock 2 where they're getting rid of multiplayer yeah well that's fine I guess I never played the multiplayer anyway no I always felt they sort of forced that in a little bit yeah uh and the original will also include some new stuff like uh a museum a virtual Museum of like uh Concepts that they came up with and kind of built prototypes for but didn't make it into the game so there's like new puzzles and splices and

big daddies and things that you haven't seen before awesome yeah so that's cool um BioShock 2 I think is just the same uh and BioShock Infinite I thought this was interesting they've said that the the console version will be remastered but the PC version is just the same because it was already up to current gen standards when it came out Oh I thought they weren't even remastering it for infinite at all no no no the PS4 and Xbox One is being remastered well I mean remastered I guess it just means they're giving us the high reses assets cuz I assume the game's the same right well I don't know cuz you got to look at like Halo right when they did a remaster that game is completely

different yeah but that was from Xbox one to like sorry as in Xbox One in the first Xbox not the Xbox one yeah that's why they shouldn't have named it the Xbox one because now you've got two Xbox Ones the first Xbox and the current Xbox that's right next year will be Scorpio that's right project they won't though they'll just name it Xbox and I'll be like y all right fine we Xbox I don't understand I'm confused now but I don't care it's going to look better yeah I'll probably I'll probably be buying this yeah it's going to be cool I haven't actually played through the DLC for infinite yet oh I haven't either actually cuz I lent my copy to someone and I never got it back who um I don't remember I was about to apologize

and then I realized no no no cuz Jenna bought it while you and I were in America yeah like it wasn't you no it's impossible for it to have been me someone I just don't remember who we've talked about this before as well because BioShock Infinite came out while you and I were overseas when we got back there was a lot of pressure to play it like and finish it so we could talk about it because everybody was talking about it and we got this it got all these great reviews and stuff like that and I I think because because I because of all the pressure and that I didn't enjoy it and so you just rushed through it yeah I think I think that's why so I'm actually really excited to play it again cuz I was I was going to play it again anyway but now it's like oh cool it's

remastered it's got new stuff I can I can enjoy it hopefully hopefully I'll enjoy it yeah so this comes out in September September yeah it's a lot of games coming out soon yeah I've already got so many games haven't played yet what's on the list Doom I still haven't even started Doom you haven't even started Doom no oh man Doom's so good I played a little bit yesterday um it's got a photo mode now I haven't had a chance to check it out but that what's photo mode well games all have this now um it's like uh you you can take pose and take photos you can make the in-game interface vanish and like you can compose what's happening like uh how do I describe it we had a

talk with um bener Bri when we're on the um 64 bytes twitch stream about it yeah twitch.tv/ 64 bytes check it out in in Uncharted 4 it's like you take a screenshot of what's happening but then you can take away the interface or you can take away things in the scene as well and pose it and move the camera around and like take screenshots and photos I mean you can actually pop like bad guys in and out of shot if you if something's in the way or you can so you're sort of not taking a like a normal screenshot you manipulated to to make it as cool as possible kind of like uh yeah so you could like if there's something in the foreground that you want to get rid of you go [ __ ] that off yeah yeah I could see that being very cool for people who like to do that type

of stuff yeah I don't know if I end up using it too much but I am going to check it out I'd probably use it once just to see what it does and then never again cuz I I what people do is amazing oh yeah what I can be bothered to do is nothing well you're not going to get any achievements that way Luke and that's all you care about exactly like if this came with an achievement I would be taking photos left and right achievement unlocked greatest photo ever yeah you I'm going to check out the Doom one um just to see CU I'm not obviously I don't have a PS4 so I'm not going to be checking out the Uncharted one no apparently Shadow of Mordor has this too I have that haven't played it oh I didn't know that I know there's like

Photo ones in racing games like for has had it forever yeah yeah it's the same kind of thing it's just in in other kinds of games now so all right I might give it a try in Middle Earth I've got that and I still got doc to play that so I'll take a screenshot in there all right do it let us know how you go and I'll post it somewhere I don't know how to do that but I'm sure it'll be a way probably instructions yeah uh um all right we got a little bit more game news but then we can probably move on blizzard put up a job posting for someone to make or someone to lead the next Diablo game so everyone's saying okay well that means Diablo 4 is not really announced and not even in production it's just they're thinking about it but I mean that's not really a

surprise it's a bit of a it's a strange way way for them to advertise for the position though I agree um yeah they they've basically said we're looking for someone to lead the Diablo series into the future so I mean is this like an open call or are they looking for I don't know yeah it is weird I would have thought that the people that have that job they don't advertise for them they just grab people you know well they probably would advertise like uh like you know with a lot of stuff bethesa dge you don't hear or yeah but when don't hear about it until this game's halfway done but but what I mean is like when when um you know Disney's going to do the new Star Wars they didn't put an ad out in the paper saying we need a director no apply and then JJ aens was

like [ __ ] send him my resume yeah this is all sort of discussed beforehand yeah so I just assumed games like Diablo 4 the same thing happened they would be like we want you to make this cuz you know what you're doing kind of thing so yeah you know interesting but it's also strange that they said take it new what what was the wording uh lead it into the future future so that may not necessarily be meaning a new game yeah that's true it could be new content for Diablo 3 also just to clarify this wasn't in a newspaper in case seek.com it was just a job posting on the website which I mean still that is a little odd I mean I think it's odd maybe it's not I don't know as unusual cuz yeah this would be

the type of thing that I could see them in a year's time coming out and going hey we've got this game that's going to be out in 6 months and it's Diablo 4 yay everyone collaps yay all right so I mean are we going to apply for this job um I don't think I should I'm not a big Diablo fan yeah but maybe that's what they need someone to mix it up a bit oh someone to make it Halo maybe we should apply listeners maybe you should all apply wouldn't make a good Halo game it would yeah y I don't know about that we'll see well listeners if you apply for this job and you get it please be sure to sneak some kind of multiple nerdgasm Easter egg into Diablo 4 that's all we ask yep that's it we don't ask for much oh and and if you could let us know

happens interesting well maybe that's why they're shutting it down before people notice but the reason this is interesting is because they're not only shutting it down they're shutting it down in a way that means that people who paid for all these different workouts and and videos and stuff can't have them anymore they're just taking it away wow and for example if you were to buy some of the you know the videos like the Jillian Michaels ones they can be like 12 bucks each right yeah they're not cheap goodbye so weird they've just said sorry um they'll be unavailable to download or use on July 1st 2017 so you've got a year but still look I could understand look we're no longer going to be selling anymore yeah right but don't we're no

longer going to wor up but no you can't I own it like I paid my license I should still be able to use it yeah it's a very very uh I don't know aggressive thing to do cuz people have said I mean obviously I haven't bought anything on there I don't care but people have this guy's saying he bought $140 worth of stuff and uh he doesn't want to refund he wants to be able to keep using the stuff he paid for and this is kind of my fear with all this on this digital stuff we've talked about this before is if I buy all my albums or movies on a service and then this happens this is exactly the scenario that I that I don't want and it makes me go well maybe you should have pirated those videos have Microsoft said anything about this I don't like in response to the people going what about

the money I've paid as far as I know at this time they haven't although it is the weekend right now maybe they will cuz I mean they are traditionally really bad at announcing stuff yes so maybe this is all a misunderstanding yeah we'll see yeah at the moment no they haven't said anything other than you will not be able to use them someone else Echoes my feelings here my worst fears about buying into digital or Cloud dependent content are realized basically the message is if you buy something on the cloud plan on having it taken away from you before you're done with it and don't expect a refund yeah I think a lot of people something's going to have to come with this that can't happen I wouldn't have thought

so hopefully they address it cuz it's it's pretty [ __ ] cuz what happens with what happens if this happens to your games Luke well it actually happens with games a all the time what do you mean there are a lot of times where you've got a game and that well not that you can't play the game at all but you can't play portions of the game like they'll shut down servers oh like multiplayer and stuff multiplayer so you can't play multiplayer anymore so the type of thing's happening all the time I suppose so but by the time it actually happens no one's playing it and that's actually why they're shutting it down cuz they're basically going look it's costing as more than what we're making yeah right so yeah eventually Battlefront won't work anymore exactly

thread on Reddit in the show notes but I mean I mean I couldn't I didn't even bother reading through all this in the end it just got so out of hand and ridiculous it's just seems like these Tre Industries is ridiculous this company it it always happens by accident so the the guns the guns from Call of Duty I think what's happened is they've just copied the guns right basically yes they've taken the they've looked at the guns in Call of Duty and they've made their guns look the same which y you I mean you can't do that I don't know if they actually assets ripped from the game maybe they are for all I know but I mean they they've changed them a bit but it's obvious that they're the same one thing I really actually like about this whole story is the guys that who made or

they went out to start an Indiegogo campaign to um to try and fight it yeah but they had the goal set at $500 and then they donated the $500 themselves so they were already over so that means that they were going to get any money that's since been taken down [ __ ] hell oh so they would automatically anybody who gave money they would they would just get it y yeah they they' pass their goal that's so dodgy there was another game a while ago where they got they got caught because they had the trosa surus wreck that was ripped from another game and they've always come out and gone look this is not our fault we've had we'll have a Dropbox with accet that we like people to look at to get inspiration from we had people working on it and they didn't

know that was just to look at and they've included it in the game and it's just an accident I've seen um there's there's one shot in there of a character uh with their it's got their logo on it and everything but it's just Boba Fett and with the colors a bit different designed by us that guy we designed him his name's Boer [Laughter] Fett yeah very interesting so yeah don't buy that game the game was cheap as [ __ ] anyway it was like a couple bucks it was 49 cents at the time it was taken down like what are they doing like this such a garbage company what are you doing so did you buy it no God no no it's a steam game I I own lots of Steam games what I'm talking about I don't play Steam

different you obtain them through nefarious means I still pay for them of course you do of course you have to do on Xbox yep I will always pay for my games now I've got one piece of non-star Wars news and then we've got some Star Wars news we'll do the non-star Wars news first and then maybe the Star Wars news can take us out into the sunset okay so what's happening in non-star Wars news related world this made me laugh the new Pixar film Finding Dory I sh Pixar made it I would say so it was screening in uh the Bay Area somewhere in San Francisco somewhere California rather Bay Area I guess San Francisco you forget if no one cares where the somewhere somewhere in California the film was playing somebody made a mistake they were shifting uh

theaters around to try and accommodate everybody and the children V to see Finding Dory were accidentally shown the R-rated redband trailer for sausage party which I watched this trailer just so that I could see what it was that they saw and that is that is a hell of a mistake oh what happens in this trailer well it's also an animated film too in this like it actually I think it's funny but the movie is about food and how food at the supermarket wants to go home with you and they think that then they can be happy okay they get to your kitchen and then the basic the way it begins is they pick up a potato the woman picks up the potato and they're like oh the potato's going first and then the potato's like oh I'm off I'm off to heaven and then she starts peeling it and it like it's

screaming and every was go [ __ ] [ __ ] ah [ __ ] and then it just devolves into like brutal food violence and swearing and Y so probably not suitable for the normal finding the average finding dooring not suitable for children and there's also hot dog and Bun jokes in it and a lot of swearing it's just not appropriate but made me laugh I feel bad and the they didn't really apologize they said um playing that trailer was a one-time honest mistake by a theater manager moving screens around in an effort to accommodate large last minute groups wanting to see Dory the wrong movie was started by mistake and then uh more explanation more explanation we regret it apologize

for it and I'm not happy that it happened we fully realized that this trailer is not appropriate for Dory and we would never schedule something like that the trailer for sausage party is not and has never been scheduled with Dory as it should not be that all seems fine to me like it wasn't like they did it on purpose what he wants to say it was an accident yes a hilarious ious accident and now several children are scarred several hundred probably it's an accident all right so Star Wars news all right so what's happening stars star news Stars news the wars News St Wars news St Wars news Well Lego the force awakens came

out yeah I saw that you've got it I assume yes I love Lego games is it good I mean it's the same as the other Lego games right it's the same as the other Lego games it's just this one's in another Star Wars one which we haven't had in a while it's just got Finn and Ray in it as well Finn Ray Klo Ren Han well he was in the others can I play as kylo Ren you can when you unlock him he's not part of the story fine you can fight him though I don't want to fight him I want to hug him he hug that's all he needed need hug hug well his dad just died that's right it's a very sad moment for him spoilers speaking of spoilers Mark HL said something this week and then warning right maybe this is a spoiler maybe it isn't no one knows that's why

films I really really respect I'm joking mine yeah yours obviously not joking James Cameron he he's got opinions on Star Wars yeah he said this week there's two things about this article that I like first is that uh his opinion is interesting MH and it's this he says George Lucas is a friend of mine and he and I were having a good conversation the other day about it I don't want to say too much about the film he means the force awakens I also have a lot of respect for JJ Abrams and I want to see where they're taking it next but I have to say that I feel that George's group of six films had more Innovative visual imagination this film was more of a retrenchment to things you've seen before and characters you've seen before and they took a a few baby steps with

new characters so for me the jury's out I want to see where they go with it now I don't disagree with him but I do have to say I don't think JJ Abrams was trying to have too much Innovative visual imagination he was trying to make a Star Wars movie he was trying to have story again he was trying to make it so that people wouldn't [ __ ] hate the movie like they hated the prequels so he went back to the ones that people like I think in this case doing more of the same was the right move you know like I understand where he's coming from and I would agree that George's prequels were very creative they just weren't good no you know I could see what he was trying to do he was trying to bring everything to digital and yeah and and they are creative like he's he's a very creative

guy but they weren't good he did the thing like Star the original Star Wars was great because there was story then special effects yes and then with the prequels he did the opposite way around he went special effects and there's a story there somewhere yeah yeah and like I was saying JJ Abrams was not trying to be Innovative he was trying to make a Star Wars film that people didn't hate and he did it like so like as much as you could pull that movie To Pieces but it's still just a good movie yeah and sorry it was better than the prequels oh yeah even though I I agree with him I agree with James Cameron it was not as Innovative visually as the prequels by in Innovative I don't mean good although I think the force awakens will date better than the prequels yeah

visual effects wise yes yeah yeah definitely we watched um Jenna asked me I forget how it came up but Jenna asked me how does Anakin get burned in the lava again she couldn't couldn't remember and so I looked up that scene just on YouTube yep and then I put it on and she was like my God is that how it looks in the film like yeah yeah that's how it looks yeah it's really bad but my my other favorite thing about this article is just because in case you're wondering you know whether James Cameron's an good authority on taste in films at the moment this Do's this sentence Cameron's next film Avatar 2 is expected to reach theaters in December 2018 followed by Avatar 3 in December 2020 Avatar 4 in December 2022 and

Avatar 5 in December 202 three and there's no there's nothing around that that indicates that it's a joke Apparently that is that's what Cameron's working on oh God cuz even like I remember Avatar that was beautiful mhm was it a good movie no we talked about this actually as well um Jenner and I earlier I went and saw it at IMAX twice because I was blown away by the experience of it but having watched it again later without the kind of the 3D and yeah the whole newness of all that stuff it's a bit [ __ ] yeah cuz that was a movie I went and saw a couple of times yeah but not for the spectacle not for the for the story I guess no just like you're walking through the forest you see things flying through the it was a

beautiful movie and that's the special effects are amazing but yes that doesn't make a movie like the prequels like the prequels Luke yes so there was more story in Avatar I'll give it that true cuz it copy but yeah Pocahontas and dances withas no um no not dances with Wes the other kids cartoon one oh Fernly fly all of those all of those all right the final piece of Star Wars news Mace Windu might be alive he is alive he is alive according to Samu L Jackson and George Lucas yeah but I even like I'll get to it at the end but I like the fact um so seier Jackson he thinks that most wiers alive cuz he's Jedi can for andaz from amazing distances that's right there's a long history of one headed Jedi so why not

legs do you know I read actually I heard that um uh Grievous was supposed to be Darth Maul and there's actually concept art and I don't know if it's fake I saw concept art uh this might have been on Reddit somewhere um of and maybe even a Sideshow Collectibles uh statue of that concept art unless that was fake as well but it's Darth Moore with robot legs and in the Clone Wars series he doesn't just have robot legs he has like robot spider legs he's got like eight of them apparently yeah Grievous was supposed to be him but then they made him Grievous instead did you hear that no I tend to gloss over episode I gloss over prequel news really news try to pretend it doesn't happened it didn't happen hasn't happened will
