another and then when you were there it was whatever time it was right yeah I get you whereas somebody Rings somebody on the telephone this new invention and go hey happy 4:00 and they're like it's not 4:00 idiot middle of the night [ __ ] yeah stop calling me that's not why I invented this thing yeah and the one I gave you have you seen that little web comic where it's uh what's his name Alexander grah Bell with the first phone and he's like new phone who this very funny you want to begin by talking about probably what people are expecting us to talk about this week of course we do play the jingle [Music]

The Last Jedi M episode 8 is called The Last Jedi in case you haven't heard that yet somehow what do you think I sort of like it it's pretty good yeah I went through a little bit of a I went through a process but I like it now when I first saw it I thought oh that's a bit a bit basic bit on the nose and then I started thinking back over the other titles and other than the force awakens which is a [ __ ] great title the The Return of the Jedi The Empire Strikes Back A New Hope attack of the Clones they all got pretty shitty titles when they announced attack of the Clones and everyone was like sure it is what's the real title yeah yeah I sort of like this especially because it sort of fits in with like what Yoda says like the last of the jedro will you be so maybe he is

the only thing I don't like about it is that you've got the Jedi the force awakens The Last Jedi like we've gone back to oh there was just Yoda and then now there's just one of them again you know what I mean well hopefully they get rid of the J because if you if you actually watch the prequels and accept they exist I don't understand I don't understand what you're saying to me yeah the prequels Rogue one exactly the Jedi Council were running the Jedi into the ground sure so get rid of that whole Jedi where a you thing now all the Jed 2 yeah J 2 Jedi 2.0 J2 I like uh I like Mark Hill a lot and I like his his little koi stuff that he says in his interviews where he

pretends he doesn't know what what the [ __ ] the titles about either yeah that's right even though he's made the film already yeah yeah he's already finished filming because he in this interview he said uh By the way when you read the force awakens script the first two words are Luke Skywalker has vanished and oh baby this is going to be good I'm going to have I'm going to have a great part but then later in the crawl and I can't quote it exactly I saw it on Twitter this morning until Skywalker The Last Jedi is destroyed and I thought well I didn't know that I've only seen it twice and I was wondering why they'd use that phrase it was used in that way because I mean that specifies me and I think it's quite ambiguous is the last Jed layer is it me is it someone we've

never met or is it Ray I mean we'll have to wait and see I mean he's he made the movie already he knows yeah yeah yeah but he's also ignoring the fact that everyone jumped on everyone first off went The Last Jedi Luke or does he train uh Ray but does that make her a Jedi and then everyone went wait a minute the plural of Jedi is Jedi yeah so this could just mean the last lot of Jedi yeah and we got training remember Luke had like what three weeks worth of training on yeah how do you have to be had a lot of trading an official Jedi well I guess back in the olden days the council would had some had something to do with it these days it's probably just up to Luke not you Luke Luke Skywalker I mean do we need a jingle for Luke gets to pick who's a Jedi Luke can I please be a

Jedi no it's all I've ever wanted my entire life he's just made his position on Jedi very clear Dan there will be no more this is the last one yeah yeah in the Legends now you had to go through the trials and stuff yeah but Jedi was was a was a group right that you had to be initiated into you also had like the gray Jedi who could use the force but decided not to go down the JH path but wen't bad right but I mean everyone can use the force right I mean that's the whole thing the force is always there you just have to learn how to tap into it well so we're going it's not a blood disease anymore well yeah I don't know about that I'm pretty sure it still is I mean they can't they can't get around that it's like a yeah it's a it's a

bacteria or whatever the [ __ ] M glorian are [ __ ] not I'm sorry it's not I know it absolutely isn't I Know Dan in my heart it's not either but that's what's in the films did did you hear this at one stage George Lucas had the idea that sen helper team was actually going to be Anakin's father not that he had sex with his mother but that he forced medic chorin to make her pregnant yeah well they kind of imply that in Revenge of the Sith that's well I mean I think I had a nightmare once called Revenge of the Sith which was kind of like a Star Wars film and that appeared in it I've literally not seen that for a second time I saw that midnight and then never again everybody says revenge of the siths like it's not that bad it's pretty good and then I'm like it's not it's not

it's it's the best movie out of three pieces of [ __ ] yeah it's the best of the prequels it's terrible I keep seeing like occasionally crop up online articles called um why the Phantom Menace is a great film and you should watch it again and I'm like no man I'll [ __ ] watch that again it's not a great film it's not even a good film it's not even a bad film it's [ __ ] horrendous I saw it three times the first dat it did get better I saw it like it just wanted to convin times at the cinema because I was in denial like it doesn't make it a good movie I remember I saw it Luke with you I think it was the second time or maybe it was the third um yep and you would you were trying to convince me it was okay I was trying I was lying to myself

I think everyone you lying to me as well man you were like no it's good I'm like the only one who was honest about it was Dave he [ __ ] hated it from day one yeah yeah I was a little bit like that with the attack of the Clones because it was arguably [ __ ] but it was quite a lot better than the phantom menace in my opinion right yeah except the bit with Yoda at the end I know I know I remember I remember in being in the cinema and being like this one's not so bad and then Yoda coming out and being like ah he's going to do something amazing with like his mind and he's going to like he's going to pull some crazy [ __ ] we've never oh my God what is he doing what is he doing he's a gymnast yeah does gymnastics he has a little mini lightsaber and he flips

around like a yeah I remember in the sitting there in the cinema being like Oh what am I watching it's terrible yeah that was the same I had when I was watching Avatar and I was just sitting there thinking I'm watching a guy in a Mech fighting a [ __ ] Dragon thing alien and it's [ __ ] like how did you make this [ __ ] that should be the greatest moment of my life yeah I wanted to like that a lot too um did you watch this video which we link to as well of um Josh Gad uh calling Daisy Ridley into his trailer did this live on Facebook um cuz they're filming murder on the Orient Express together and he called her into his trailer uh and she said yeah you

wanted to ask me something and he goes yeah yeah I just got an important question about the scene today who's the Last Jedi and uh she's very funny she's like don't she's like don't do this don't do this this is not what I need first thing in the morning yeah it's very funny I'm just watching it now sorry we'll have to we'll have to wait and see she likes wearing stuff on her head she does is that a thing it's a towel isn't it yeah a hairnet thing it's got like a hair so hair doesn't get messed up I do like that that's actually one of favorite things about is when she comes in and he goes oh you look good by the way she looks [ __ ] ridiculous yeah full makeup but then that ridiculous tow thing yeah so that's uh that's Last Jedi

news we got to wait till December to to hear about that or to well we going to trailer it some point we're P point where Force awakens had a trailer already so I guess we're getting one at some point well there have to be a teaser one coming out soon you would think so not a full trailer yeah we'll need something for May at least I mean they've uh I based on Ryan Johnson's Twitter account where he sent a screenshot of the fact that he's put the opening crawl title in now I mean the film exists in a form where they could make a trailer out of it so either that or he editing chronologically in which crawl is the first and only thing he's done and the film's about to be delayed in other Star Wars news the Death Star trench is is not where you

probably think it is I thought this was interesting because I hadn't considered this uh so I know where it is I didn't read this article so why don't you fill us in all right where do you think can I take make my guess where it is first sure well yeah where do you think it is it's on the Northern Hemisphere and a trench is running running up yeah yeah it's not the the very obvious one uh everyone seems to think it is around the equator which I guess I just assumed it was as well I never really thought about it really no that's the Docking Bay yeah well no I'm aware of that now I was I just like said I've never given it that much thought I'll be honest yeah I was about to say I mean I don't know this but I didn't not know it either yeah if you if you'd asked me I probably would

have not too confidently said oh isn't it the one around the equator cuz I guess I just didn't really worry about it too much but yeah no it is you're right Luke it is on the Northern Hemisphere somewhere uh although what the [ __ ] does that mean in space uh it's on the upper bit and it runs yeah up and down not around the side of it I just ruined this whole bit didn't I well it makes no sense anyway CU it's a sphere in space so maybe it could be the bloody equator depending on where you looking at it so but uh yeah it's not not what everyone thinks it is which is not the the one around the middle which is yeah all the docking Bays with the Tie fighters and stuff come out yeah and that was pointed out to everybody working on Rogue one by

John null who said uh apparently they were talking about the Death Star and uh or the their computer Graphics version of it and he casually said that the trench run from Star Wars is a longitudinal line on the Death Star meaning a north south trench and then everybody in the room went what and so he uh educated them and then [Laughter] expanding herself um into playing different carnations of the tough Latino chick right I'd like to see Victorian era period piece where she's the Latina girl yeah I just I just read what this movie is about really yeah so uh in the new movie called the assignment which as

you'll soon see is a double meaning uh Michelle Rodriguez plays a man who gets a sex change against his will and uh is now weav no L on a mission yeah that's right yeah so sex change she's actually playing a man in a woman's body uh kicking ass like that well sort of sort of sort of yeah I mean like it's the same body right that just made her into a woman like sure right well we've discussed on this podcast in the past a woman is just a man with no dick that's right so they got his dick off and now he's Michelle Rodriguez that's right yeah so okay I haven't watched the trailer but this seems like a weird subject matter to to tackle at this

tackle to tackle at at this kind of juncture hisory Society yeah cuz I mean like I agree this is a I don't know man like them is anyone complaining that they're getting it that they're being played by sheale playing the character yet I mean I I don't know but I'm going to assume yes like this is a kind of touchy subject right like you don't there's no way you can play it properly on the one hand I'm sure everybody knows that you can't just go and get turned into Michelle Rodriguez against your will by the mob as a dude but then I mean it's kind of a weird I don't know I mean you all know what I'm talking about I don't need to explain myself this is a weird this is a weird movie to make now you know people take hormone drug tablets and

drugs and all this stuff to prepare for this and this they just yeah one surgery and doctor makes you into Michelle Rodriguez it's I don't know just seems weird it seems like something that would have been made in the 80s you know it doesn't seem to be tackled with any more tact here than it would have been in the 80s no I mean this this description is the mob gets pissed off at him takes him to a doctor and they turn him into a woman and it's just and then he's Michelle Rodriguez like take can ask and then this is a movie that's coming out in 2017 this reminds me of the gay movie that Adam Sandler attempted uh when it became kind of okay for there to be gays and he made I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry did you

guys see that yes I know the woman eyes are and yep it um it was two steps forward one step back basically you know because it was an Adam Sandler film well it was yeah imagine Adam Sandler deciding within his own heart that he was okay with gay people and then deciding to express his new tolerance for them in a comedy film of his own writing right something that made me laugh about this trailer though right is that you know how they they flash up title cards with uh you know from the writer of this and the director of this uh this one boasts that it's the producers of aliens right um yeah but then flashes up the cast which is uh soury weer and Michelle Rodriguez but without saying starring in between so it just comes up from the producers are

aliens souri Weaver and Michelle Rodriguez Rodriguez like they're the producers of aliens I feel like if they were going to do a remake of aliens I mean Michelle Rodriguez would be ideal to play Vasquez but yeah because it's is like the character of Vasquez is Michelle Rodriguez yeah that's right in fact in my head it is Michelle Rodriguez yeah instead of um the girl from uh what's that vampire movie with Bill Paxton until dawn no that's until until dawn is the Halo movie uh that's Ford un Dawn yeah oh yeah until dawn Dawn is is another game you're not thinking from D PlayStation game I'm getting distracted no no no it's got Bill Paxton and it's got Lance henriksson and it's got um the the the woman who played Vasquez it's I

think it's um oh a lot of is it John carpent vampires no no no no it's not that it's uh doesn't that have Bill Paxton in it oh no that's uh near dark near dark dark yep I have never heard of this movie really no no Jette Goldstein Janette Goldstein is the actress who plays Vasquez and she she's in this as well but she's not um you know she's got like long hair in this and she's completely different which I guess makes which I guess is why why she's an actress because she's able to pay different roles well I mean you'd think that would be a prerequisite but it it isn't always often isn't like as we discussed with Tom Cruz and um and we all know Luke's feelings about Harrison Ford yeah our minds

I don't I still like him he just he just needs to go away how do you feel about Michelle Rodriguez Luke I haven't heard of her doing anything for years yeah not since she did that DUI and while they filming lost yeah she just in everything and then just disappeared yeah well I think that's cuz she got kicked off lost and then everyone was like oh we don't really want to work with her I mean I'm making assumptions don't sue me I I don't mind her so you don't mind her looks like she's enjoying what she's doing you don't mind her but you don't like Harrison rri but you want Harrison Ford to go away Harrison Ford needs to go away he's he's not enjoying himself anymore I'm sorry that's just the way I feel yep so if he came to you and said Luke can I be a Jedi you'd be like no mate

you're time has passed you're I mean and he's the last person go stand over there with Dan and be sad about not being a Jedi no one gets to be a Jedi anymore Luke's not budging on that position I'm assuming but also I really think Harris would be the last person to ask become a Jedi right maybe that's what the title of episode should have been the last person to ask to be a Jedi yeah all you have to do is ask also I knew we would end up coming back to this that's why I didn't want to close off Star Wars news completely yeah we didn't play the end jingle yet no all right well while we're talking about franchises that we enjoy um did you see this Terminator news yeah I did and uh pretty happy about it yeah so there's going to be a new Terminator movie and it's coming from James camon

and Tim Miller who directed Deadpool y did a good job of that yeah so uh apparently the sequel to Terminator Genesis uh has been abandoned so uh which actually I haven't even seen that I forgot about it I saw it I saw half of it was it any good no no it was I confusing it was it was really bad Matt like for stards it reset the timeline oh yeah by [ __ ] by [ __ ] everything up well they have to do that because they keep [ __ ] it up like yeah but it even it went back to the events of the first Terminator movie and made that not happen like it's absolutely and and Amelia Clark's in it and she's awful and and we'd like her

but she's awful she's not Sarah Connor she's not Linda Hamilton no but who is [ __ ] Linda Hamilton is that's for who the [ __ ] who can top Hilton no one I tried top her she topped me I mean her Sarah con is a [ __ ] great character because people complain about you know like oh they shouldn't have made Terminator 3 well they had to make Terminator 3 after they [ __ ] bungle the timeline in terminated too they had to do something they couldn't just leave because it didn't make any sense anymore I mean I'm being silly like they could have just left it obviously but it didn't make any sense they canel out yeah that's right and then like and snake biting its own tail in case you

haven't considered this at the end of Terminator 2 they cause the events of Terminator 1 to not happen which means John Connor won't be born which means Terminator 2 doesn't happen which means Terminator 1 does happen which means Terminator 2 you need to stop talking or the universe may may implode on itself and so on new and that's how black holes are caused that's right that's why time travel is not possible yeah because we would have already died if it was yeah because we made up the concept of time but no with the new one is there any indication of where it's going to be set or anything I don't think so I think it's this might just be a case of James Cameron saying he's doing stuff again I like the fact that James Cameron is

entertaining the idea of being involved in films that aren't the seven Avatar sequels yeah this goes against his prev St the you terminated being set the Avatar Universe [ __ ] oh Christ y didn't think of that lot of stories to tell Avatar 3 Terminator [Laughter] 6 oh man are we still getting those Avatar movies we would watch it well he's been working on them ever since the last one that's all he's been doing going down in his sub and Mak an Avatar movies has he been shooting them well he doesn't have to shoot them doesn't he he just mucks around in his studio with that little wand thing and then he puts stuff on your computer and then a movie comes out he calls it his little wand thing does

he yes um what's Sam Worthington up to these days hopefully nothing is he back for these because I don't I haven't seen him in a lot lately I I don't think has he been doing stuff I don't know man kind of hoping he just faded back into the background because he did uh he did um Avatar and he became like a big bankable star for like a week and then he did Clash of the Titans and uh and what else was the other one oh the he did a Terminator film as well he did Terminator Salvation vanished disappeared I'm I think he disappeared [ __ ] H not seen him in anything in now we mentioned of the Titans now that mentioned him he'll be back yeah yeah as us my favorite role that Sam Worthington ever played was guy who begged Craig to

be in his short film yeah yeah yeah and Craig eventually gave in and let him walk through the background and he managed to [ __ ] that up and look like a total idiot and then he did you want to see that you want to see that Masterpiece Google life in a Volkswagen on uh on the internet'll be up there somewhere did you see that suicide squads up for an Academy Award which is very funny to me have you seen what the awards for though yeah yeah yeah I mean it makes the most sense best hair design best hair and makeup which I mean what else could it be it's not going to be best [ __ ] film no and it's not going to be [ __ ] best editing that's for godamn sure no it's not going to be best actor because J letter it's not going to be best use of pop

songs yeah I got to say the characters yeah looks pretty good in it I guess so yeah the actually making fun of the makeup and hair design before the movie came out came out yeah well yeah because it would look like Hot Topic the movie and or it looked like uh you know D antw the movie look I I think I mean look we we all agree that Jared Leo's gangster version of The Joker Is [ __ ] atrocious yeah Margo Robbie looks so good I mean they could have they could have literally covered her human [ __ ] and uh sure instead of a costume and people will still be going [ __ ] M Robbie is Ty Quinn and then everyone be like I'm cosplaying as Mar Robbie covered in feces at Comic on this

year yeah spot on but uh yeah so hopefully they'll win that because they're also up for a Razzy yeah I think they're in a good chance for that one yeah I think so well Batman vers Superman's also up so there is no way look Batman and Superman I agree it's not a great film I've admitted that I enjoyed it on a kind of a you know like a nostalgic level but I'm not going to kind of argue that it's a good film but it's Leaps and Bounds ahead of Suicide Squad yeah um David a the director of Suicide Squad recently said I'm sorry that he wishes he had a time machine what's that oh no I just thought he was apologizing she had a suicide machine he had a time machine so he could go back and make the Joker a main

villain and the and engineer a Mor story no no no no no that's not why I understand this The Joker wasn't what we were about was the worst part of a shitty movie I know it would have been better with him not being in it maybe what would have be better if they had to cut him out of the entire movie except maybe the end where he comes in to break Harley Quinn out yeah yeah that might have been a good way to introduce and that could have teased to the next movie you know what I mean that could have been at the end yeah you know it should have been Will Smith because his character was okay right his character was fine it should have been Will Smith and and Mis covered in character was Will Smith yeah but that I'm fine with that I'm fine with

that yeah I know play Will Smith well yeah he does no one does it better except maybe Jaden Smith he's good but um it should have [ __ ] Viola Davis's character needs to be removed and her [ __ ] ridiculous plan of making a a squad of bad guys together to create a villain that then then need a squad of bad guys to fight yeah convoluted [ __ ] stupid and then at the end going that was a dumb idea don't know why I didn't realize it before yeah and then literally the filmmakers themselves knew the film was so bad they did an after the credit sequence where [ __ ] Batman walks in and says I'm not going to let this happen again yeah there will not be another film like this again yeah there will not be another Suicide Squad trust me we

promise well we'll wait and see what Justice League's like yeah well you know because it doesn't look very good to me so far maybe maybe it'll also be nominated for an Academy Award I don't know what What About Bob is I don't think so does someone want to talk me through this article here Luke you know what about Bob right no oh you don't oh I've just looked and i' see that it's Bill Murray so it's probably something that I would like but I haven't seen so what about Bob is this kind of [ __ ] I don't know bumbling comedy from the late 80s or early 90s with Bill Murray I mean it didn't really make a blip it's a part of my childhood but um I'm just surprised I haven't seen yeah I'm surprised you are too to be

honest I I really thought at least you luk would have seen this you didn't watch this with your dad no your dad [ __ ] love this he's a Bill Murray fan I'm a Bill Murray fan how did I miss this I know anyway I'm not saying go back and watch it now because it's probably shite in you know in retrospect but what's relevant is the fact that they're doing an all female remake of it right which right I I just find funny because I guess people these days are admitting that Bill Murray movies are good but that they should have had female leads in fale sure yeah so who's gonna play Bill Murray who's gonna play Bill Murray and starring Melissa McCarthy as Bill Murray Jesus Christ I'm not sure they've said but you know it's goingon to be Melissa McCarthy you know it yeah

Frank O's directed uh oh okay by the way cool yeah I don't know why I haven't seen this Richard draus and Bill Murray as his annoying friend yeah I like Richard driers crazy bastard yeah I don't I mean everything has to be a reboot or a remake these days so I mean this just seems a very obscure one though cuz I know people have said a lot and I mean I agree as well I don't understand why they have to remake old stuff or change old stuff and just kind of gender swap people but if you at the end of the day yeah if you have to make a reboot or a remake then you don't really have a lot of options if if you want a female character as the main character but does mean do the opposite as well are they going to bring back some old chick flicks and just cast

dudes in them like are we going to see the Brotherhood of the Traveling Pants little [Laughter] men I don't know but yeah if you're going to remake stuff I guess you're going to have to do this uh but can we why can't we just stop remaking things I don't understand we're out of ideas Matt collectively as a society we are out out of ideas I don't think that's true I think it's just that that they want the Nostalgia money and this is like until people actually actually get [ __ ] fed up and stop paying for this [ __ ] like they're just going to keep doing it yeah well look one of the best shows that people have been talking about recently was Westworld yeah it's a remake I know I know I'm I'm

guilty yeah it's how they get stuff still enjoy their reboots they're going to keep doing them although I'm not sure what about Bob they went cash in on the name recognition yeah I mean that's the thing I mean if you if you really just can't take a Gamble and so you've got to be like look we could either make 20 movies that might all lose money at the Box off or we could make one more Harry Potter movie then it's a no-brainer but you're right what about Bob does not have the brand recognition no I wouldn't have thought so or the The Man Who Knew Too Little which is another film you know I don't know that I've seen this but I'm looking at up now and I am definitely going to go back and watch this the man who new to the I think that's a reboot already I

think it's a remake isn't it probably yeah I think that I think remakes are probably more common than we admit sure you know even back in the day and you know classic movies that you know that we regard as as Classics are often even remakes and you you're not even aware of it yeah Little Shop of Horrors was a remake the the one that everyone knows with Rick and everybody and uh right isn't um oh [ __ ] what was I going to say uh Dirty Rotten Scoundrels a remake yeah Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a remake they're also doing a female reboot of that yeah just that's that's that just popped into my head so uh yeah that's another one the one nobody knows is uh True Lies True Lies is a remake is it yeah I did not know that yeah yeah there

you go a remake of what European F like there's a movie called True Lies it's called whatever the French would say True Lies lay True [Laughter] Lies y yeah well they're also turning old films into video games now uh although this one [ __ ] baffled me when I saw it and then I was like all right this could be good yeah man I was like what and then I watched the kickstarter video and I was like take my [ __ ] money yeah I think I'm interested in this and yeah I'm not going to Kickstart it yet but I've got a month maybe I will I would be very hesitant to Kickstart this why there's run one reason for it so they're asking for $900,000 yeah that's not what they

want need to raise an additional five million yeah but big companies do that a lot more than you realize I think like speaking of something we do a lot we haven't told the listeners what we're talking about oh yeah true Francis Ford Copa is kickstarting an Apocalypse Now video game and I can't [ __ ] wait to play this every it's du to come out in about 2020 yeah yeah they said even if they raise all their money now it'll still take several years for it to be developed um look Apocalypse Now is one of my favorite films of all time right I I I I can't stress how much love this movie if they came out with an 8bit SID scroller of this movie I would play that right but this is a fully immersive um open world uh Recreation of you know

that kind of borderline between Vietnam and Cambodia you play Willard you're looking for CTS you can either go and find him like he does in the movie or you can just sit on the boat and take acid and experience a trip you can do whatever you want man and I just I just can't wait to play this I have I have no idea if this could possibly be good but I'm going to kick I'm going to kick into this for sure well I think one of the reasons why this might be good is they're sort of the reason why they want to do it themselves and not go through a big shio is the fact they want the freedom to do what they want MH to make it this game that you can do anything not have a Sho go no you can't do that you can't do that and they've got people uh who who've made games that we like

like Fallout New Vegas which is MHM maybe my favorite Fallout game that they've made uh whoa really just saying yeah I really enjoyed New Vegas okay um my favorite will always be two I liked two just because it was a bigger version of one yep yeah people fall Out New Vegas Wasteland 2 Far Cry so games that you know MH these people worked on them so I mean I can assume they know how to make a game but that doesn't necessarily mean this game will be good no uh no yeah so I don't know but uh this this definitely of Interest extreme interest yeah so you you they've got the kickstarter now which they going to ra try to raise 900,000 then after that they're going to do more crowdfunding campaigns so maybe

on other sites to try and get up to 5 million okay oh is that what it is I thought they were trying to get their $1 million to uh to then get investors on board like you don't have to chip in as much now we already starting this but they're actually just going to go and beg other places are they they yeah they're just going to go around yeah do the round what they put here um the first we ask for your spot here on Kickstarter then after 30 days here it gives the website apocalyps now.com that's how Ki if you don't make it no no if they make their 900,000 they take that money they don't make but they don't have to oh okay so they're they're splitting it up they want to make a million bucks here okay yep make a million bucks here we will that's their

seed money pretty much so they can start getting paid to start working on it and then they're going to raise the money as they go I think can seed money be the name of this podcast seed money sure sounds so dirty there's your SE while while we're on Kickstarter uh there's another game that might be of interest to listeners uh which is the Banos Saga 3 has been announced and that's on Kickstarter they only want 200,000 and that's to to do the whole thing so that might be more uh you know more of a sure bet cuz they already made the first two uh and these are I'm going to play them one day yeah I've been playing the first one on my iPad a little bit they're very good they're kind of like a turn-based combat tactical tactical can't pronounce that

word tactical uh turnbas combat games H and they're very highly regarded I've had play the first yeah uh I haven't played a whole lot of it um but I started it because everyone kept telling me how great it was and uh you can make decisions throughout the story line that will affect you know what happens and apparently it's very uh story is very gripping and emotional and interesting so this is probably uh I mean this game will happen so this is a sure bet I think as far as Kickstarter goes as sure as they get they'll make this game and then you will have it and they've got some some cool rewards so check that out Banos Saga 3 uh and the other one that I'm interested in while we're talking about crowdfunding is the obsidian has an

29 bucks yeah if you pay for it now fig is different to KI because you actually invest in the company if you want you've got two options you can pledge which is just do stuff like Kickstarter and then you'll get a copy of it but you can also invest uh and I don't know how that works and I don't know what the requirements are uh I don't know if you have to be in the US or something to do that I might look into it cuz I am and maybe I could have a bit of a test run with it see I don't know how much they want um uh price per share is $1,000 so I'll be pledging to uh to get pillars of Eternity 2 made yeah 29 bucks for pillars of Eternity 2 yeah I'll be doing that because this

the first game's [ __ ] awesome and they deserve your money yep I will definitely be doing that as well MH I'll wait for my new computer and then I'll give it a try all right if we're still on games uh yeah I saw this article on Kotaku and I I haven't played this game uh really there's a new that surprises me there's a dating Sim that's been released uh where you reluctantly fall for a horse with a human face yeah and it's it's part it's it's one of those cute little Japanese dating Sims where you play a teenage girl who falls in love with a hunk of a teenage boy uh except this one is it is a horse with a human face I to ask cuz a lot in a lot of these cute Japanese dating Sims there's a lot of nudity and sex I'm sure

this will be the same um we can only hope yeah even within from what I've seen even within the game she's conflicted because she thinks he's hot but also knows he's a horse with a human face yeah that's right I love this if you scroll down that picture of him riding a surfboard it's [ __ ] hilarious and yeah I love this right this is uh from the article despite the repetitive nature of the game each weird situation our beleaguered protagonist gets herself into is oddly Charming do you think it would be funny to watch a horse run on a treadmill so does my horse Prince that's the name of the game by the way my horse Prince chopping green onions the game's got you covered doing road work for sure you want to see a horse go surfing it's got that screenshot I kind of want to
