Unfunny, Worthless Podcast: Last Jedi Title Reveal & Bubbles Biopic

I recently got a new computer yes mhm how long do you leave it when you get a brand new computer before you start going the porn sites again welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy why did you stop well you know just a lot of porn sites have viruses and stuff a little scared when you get that new computer you want to keep it pristine and running well but how long do you wait Luke just wear a condom that's how you protect from viruses so it's not that you're like you don't have antivirus or anything like that it's just that you'll abstain for a while and then just be like ah [ __ ] it this computer's

old yeah pretty much yeah time to ruin this computer with porn related viruses just install uh ghostery or something like that not live on the edge suit yourself you don't need virus protection all right so you're uh you're not talking about the kind of the mainstream sites then I take it you know like you're going You're Going looking for this stuff I'm going to the dark the dark web Jesus yeah I don't actually know what the dark web is they're websites that aren't linked by any other website so you've got to like you've got to know where to go I don't think that's true I think it's actually you just need uh you need to know the IP address someone's going to write in and be like you're full of [ __ ] yeah you got idiots compl speaking of which I've got some

bad news guys what some really bad news Chiller 7 really doesn't like this podcast what oh man Chiller I didn't realize uh until fairly recently you know how there's different iTunes stores different country stores so there's an Australian one and a us one for example I didn't realize the reviews and ratings are separate really yeah so for years and years and years we've just been checking the Australian one because that's where we lived uh and it turns out there's actually all all the country stores have their own ratings and reviews the other day Jenner and I were looking at him and she discovered on the US store we've got completely different reviews we hadn't seen them

before and we got some lovely ones and they're mostly really really good which is was awesome thank you so much uh we appreciate it there's this one review by Chiller 7 I'm going to read this to you now okay get ready the title is unfunny worthless podcast m y just tell me just tell me straight off if he mentions me by name no read this you now don't waste your time listening to These Guys these guys try too hard to be funny but they're not very good at it sorry guys but simply mentioning penis does not automatically result in laughs yes it does say you guys just laughed more importantly not only are they bad comedians they're also not very good critics having your own opinion is fine but making all sorts of

factual and accuracies is unforgivable and these guys get all sorts of facts wrong their movie reviews are full of inaccurate comments wrong plot details complaints about things that didn't happen in the movie Etc that I wonder if they even honestly watch the films that they're reviewing not always not always listen to this podcast only if you want your in intelligent insulted oh can we actually use that as a tagline or will we have to pay this [ __ ] royalty we could probably just use it one star he still gave us a star out of five one out of five is not bad yeah I think he was I think you're required to give us something in order to leave the review but then so we were like [ __ ] he really doesn't like the show

it's cold that's cold but you can actually click through and see what else they what other reviews they've left right on iTunes so he did that and man this this well gentleman or lady is [ __ ] brutal if you click through it's just this like this like like SWA swth swath how do you pronounce that word swath yeah swath I've only read it never said it wave wave uh Cornucopia of one onar reviews that he's Left podcast and we got off lightly there are podcast there are reviews where he like [ __ ] names the hosts and just rips them to shreds like you got like you got off lucky I'll be honest Matt that's kind of where I thought he was going there for a minute but yeah so uh how old is that

review can we tell it's from July last year okay I thought look maybe if it was from so long ago it was during the first six months or something then um yeah I don't disagree it's recent oh well that leads me to my next uh I don't know piece of information I noticed a trend amongst the reviews and now that's not to say his criticism is you know everybody's entitled to their opinion not everyone's going to like this show and it's fine like he doesn't like the show that's fine like I'm not not going to take it personally uh however I did notice uh that there was there was a theme uh in his his critique or it seemed like he was annoyed about something in particular and if you'll think back to what films came out last

year that we were very critical of maybe you'll figure out what I'm getting at what was last July certain superhero film was it Captain America Civil War talking about Batman v Superman oh Batman v Superman oh yeah definitely I was not going to be a Marvel film so I I have a feeling I said nothing but good things about Batman basically I know but we were like the rest of us were very critical of it and cuz it was a terrible movie I didn't say wasn't a terrible movie I just said I [ __ ] loved watching it I just noticed that uh it was mostly uh DC related stuff that he was mad at people for not liking or criticizing and and to be fair uh it's entirely likely that we did make up some stuff in the film like that have

happened like I may we may have made a joke or something stupid like that uh but it did make me think maybe we should start a new segment and I don't know what it's going to be called yet uh but basically I am going to review films that I haven't seen y great I mean we do enough of that already anyway it may as well be a segment yeah um so I don't know what to call it uh let's call it chill 7 in honor of the person who inspired us to do this all right well this week I'm pretty sure I could review movies just from trailers these days yeah well that's what I was going to say maybe you guys could probably help me out I was hoping uh this week maybe we could review The Great Wall uh that's you know it's

currently out in cinemas um The Great Wall built it yet well well uh Stars Ben Affleck obviously is a laborer working oh the movie yeah working in ancient China constructing affordable housing in front of privileged children I'll stop you there Matt Damon no Ben Affleck okay I see where you going are you sure you've seen this film down all right I'll let this slide yep go on yeah uh so I mean what did you think overall of the Great Wall um was a bit of a bit of a tearjerker for me yeah look I I think any any film that says it's great in the title I mean it was a good wall uh that they built i' say at best it was pretty good yeah it's definitely better than Batman versus Superman um so for those of you who haven't seen it the plot of Great Wall is similar to the old 1980s

uh baseball movie Field of Dreams right sure so this is about a bunch of um people in China wanting a wall coming together and building one sentimental and it's just beautiful yeah the First Act mostly consists of extended shots of Ben Affleck building theonomous wall mhm uh it did drag on a bit yeah there was well you have to remember this is an ad it's just movie it's an ad made into a movie for Great Wall cars that's right which yeah which I don't know why they focus so much on an actual wall uh in that case I think maybe the director missed the oh Matt come on mate you're better than that the wall is a metaphor oh the wall is a metaphor for societal change right right

I see well I did in uh I mean things pick up a bit when you know the the town's people become enamored with the wall uh and then obviously the legal battle and shoes uh because you know Ben just wants to finish his wall uh and the rest of the world wants to declare it a holy sight because it's plus there's that whole thing about like which is the inside of the wall and which is the outside of the wall yeah right you got people on both sides of it arguing it asks the hard questions certainly does can I ask you guys a question though sure did you feel that there was an inappropriate amount of Hardcore nudity I guess well I mean what's inappropriate I I actually think there could have been more yeah more inappropriate hardcore nudity more

dong set in China yeah and and obviously I cried at the end when the wall was declared too beautiful for this world and and torn down and then Ben was obviously crushed by the rubble uh I yeah I wept yeah the after the credits sequence surprised me yeah I don't believe they're making a sequel yeah yeah yeah yeah I didn't expect uh to see gratuitous uh nudity of Ben Affleck corpse yeah that's true but I did like how they worked Nick Fury in you know putting together a team because you know that in the next one benf corbs is going to be an Avenger yeah he's gonna be Batman in The Avengers he's G to be dead dick out Batman because that's his plan to like to make Batman not [ __ ] that's that's the name of the Standalone Batman

film The Avengers end of this podcast Batman dead dick Batman that's the great w okay good call that's uh that's for you Chiller 7 no I just I thought that was a good review deserve to be answered with another good review but on that note I mean teams so far we've been very lucky and that's the only negative review we've received um if you'd like to help us combat uh that actually it hasn't had much of an effect on the overall score to be honest because we've we actually do have really good reviews and we're like thank you very much listeners for that um if you want to do even more good then hop on and give us a review a positive review look back in the day when multiple

nerdgasm was not a podcast but a Blog yeah if you can remember back that far I know what you're gonna say we did have one negative uh it wasn't a review so much as just a comment it was it was negative and it's best not repeated to be hon yeah and it did call someone out by name oh yeah it did but they're not here right now no I think you remind me off air cuz I forget what this is all right we can beep out the the word word that was used just cuz I know you know we don't want to offend anybody you got to say it in the voice too dry your eyes that was the review I'm not that's the comment yeah that's that's just what was written under a uh lament shall we say yeah dry your

eyes oh the internet brutal Yeah man so we've got some actual content this week uh I mean we make up most of this [ __ ] anyway but is there any actual yeah well actually we we've kind of we don't have to segue too far from all that garbage we were just talking about it's been rumored this week Ben Affleck no longer uh in addition to no longer directing the Batman movie he apparently also doesn't want to be Batman no more what the [ __ ] that well I saw this and I mean he doesn't really have a choice right now he's got to do you know he's got to Justice League and he's got to do the Batman stand alone but I believe it's actually yeah it's actually a secret as to how many he's actually signed on for so I'm guessing he's only signed on for

the three but he did Suicide Squad technically so uh I don't know maybe he's trying to um I don't know maybe he's trying to do something with that well you know this might not be true but uh it doesn't wouldn't surprise me [Music] [Laughter] that's right well um it'll be sad to see him go but uh in good news Mel Gibson is in negotiations to direct wait for it Suicide Squad to yeah fantastic news yeah he um as as we you know they needed to to kind of step away from the controversy and if there's I can't think of a better director uh if you're trying to avoid being

controversial than Mel Gibson is Mel Gibson a make book fair uh I don't know it's probably best we don't speculate since we don't know done he has done some uh book to film adaptations before uh most notably the Bible right that's true yeah yeah is there a comic of the Bible there probably is we discuss this already I'm I swear to God I've said the words is there a comic book of the Bible before on this show or in my life is a manga of the Bible and I know because there's one on my bookshelf really somebody gave it to me and I apologize if you're that person and you're listening because I can't

remember who you are Mel Gibson's going a but Jesus is kind of like a superhero right he's the original superhero well after raah I guess yeah thousands of years me as well and Thor maybe gilges well if you're just keeping it original hero to the like the the Jesus Universe well God would be the original hero he's got he's got us there yeah yeah yeah the Jesus Universe the extended Jesus Universe you got the Marvel Universe the DC Universe and the Jesus verse I'll stop you there Luke since they made the New Testament the Old Testament is no longer Canon it's now called Legends Legend yeah so Mel Gibson uh [ __ ] hell all right I think he would be

terrible and I don't think he'll get the job could he possibly do a worse job that's my question because let's be honest the films that Mel Gibson has directed at least the ones I bothered to watch have been pretty good yeah I was going to say it's not like braveart for example Brave heart's for all its criticism I'll say it's [ __ ] excellent yeah I like I like it I like braveart I like uh what else has he done he did apocal what's it called apocalyptic Apocalypto also excellent uh did you guys see that uh the Patriot which I've not seen with wasn't great and I mean he didn't direct Mad Max but he was tops in it um yeah yeah he's usually in the films he directs

actually oh not lately oh yeah The Passion of the Christ he did uh obviously we have mentioned that um he wasn't in that though no um because he couldn't bring himself to be around that many Jews you know yeah that uh he he he almost also directed that train wreck of a uh of a what's it police interaction that's right with officers off H can't even talk officer sugar tits officer sugar tits with staring Sean connory yeah you shling shy piece of ass I suppose there's no chance of a sausage sandwich yeah man I can't believe somebody else remembers that Hal and Pace yeah yeah I love Halen Pace I often ask people have you ever seen Halen pace and they always say no man Hal how did I see it then yeah I don't know either but

I know the exact sketch you're talking about clearly and listeners if you familiar with Halen Pace please write in podcast at multip nerdgasm tocom like were they they're British right but were they only big in Australia yeah they were man and when they toured Australia they played at the penth Panthers Leagues Club you know that I do remember that and at the time thinking that was a bigger deal than it really is so yeah I guess it's all making sense to me now wow they've made it all the way to Panthers yeah I like yeah watch it leave penth you realize that's not an accomplishment yeah that's right no one's even [ __ ] heard of it penth mind you I've never performed a penth Panthers have you you know what I almost did and I been on stage there I

um my band was supposed to play at Panthers and we turned up we turned up with all our gear and [ __ ] and they went oh no sorry uh you cancel cuz killing Heidi's playing so bumped by killing Heidi we went and I met Ella Hooper oh well that's a plus but I didn't get to play at Panthers so did you get technically no I haven't uh well I know I shook a hand I mean so yes but yeah yeah sure she's done a lot with that hand and the guitarist with the long red dreads yeah I cared less about him than I cared about Ella Hooper to be honest yeah I lik killing Harley yeah I go listen to her tomorrow [ __ ] all the any any non Australian non- [ __ ] penth listeners like un let's talk more about local bands from the 90s from Western Sydney one

star so Mel Gibson uh probably heard of him I don't know yeah I don't think he could do worse I don't think he could do better really no you don't think that maybe just maybe Mel Gibson was the missing ingredient to that Suicide Squad abortion of a film Suicide Squad maybe I mean I have a feeling he wouldn't put up with [ __ ] from the studio like at best like sorry well at least we would get Mel Gibson's vision of Suicide Squad if he was doing yeah that's right which at would at least be interesting I think so I I yeah I'd see it look I I may or may not see Suicide Squad to when it comes out and it's gonna take Mel Gibson someone like Mel Gibson to make me curious enough to see this yeah directed by George Miller bring him

back together oh my God imagine George Miller directing Mel Gibson as Batman yeah Luke's head just explode yeah I can't take it they could do it like Kingdom Come and it could be an aging Batman you know [ __ ] I would watch the [ __ ] out of that I I listen to um you know the QA with Jeff gold smith yeah I'm G give a plug out for that's another podcast that yeah shout out to Jeff gold smith I don't know why I halfway through his name gold smith yes as good as gold smith that is a [ __ ] great podcast yeah listen to the the the Mad Max Fury Road episode where we interviewed George Miller and uh [ __ ] so great he's just so good definitely listen to it if you're into film uh at

all it's definitely a good podcast to check out listeners me did they get the facts right yeah no he makes [ __ ] up he just makes it up I also listen to the James gun episode with about I like James gun I know this is [ __ ] sorry for this Rat Hole but uh you may recall Dan that I've often stated in the past that I don't like James gun like in fact I was pretty adamant about it for a long time and then like [ __ ] James gun I hate that guy's films and then I saw Guardians and it came directed by James G and I'm sure I've said this as well and I was like a for [ __ ] sake and and then you loved it [ __ ] loved it and I was like huh and then I'm like I'm now you're going back to Slither and all that [ __ ] see but like like immediately afterwards I

was like what else did he do and then I looked it up and I'm like wait I love Slither wait I love and Juliet it's like wait the only film he's done that I didn't like was super and I didn't dislike it that much so I don't know where it just it just wasn't what we thought it was going to be right I mean hero to uh The Dawn of the Dead remake that was great that's true he did like he wrote and directed trom uh tro and Julet tro and Juliet yeah listeners if you don't know what we're talking about when we say tromeo and Juliet and if you don't know what troma is in general you should you should watch it don't is one star at least watch uh the Toxic Avenger yeah or um poultrygeist night of the chicken dead I remember we watched that one

Halloween yeah no Thanksgiving oh it was Thanksgiving we watched a whole bunch of turkey because we watched thanks killing yeah as well Parts one and three [ __ ] and I had to turn three off because I was like hysterical yeah probably not as funny it's just that I drank a lot of pumpkin flavored beer I press uh so if we're going to go back to talking about weird movies that probably shouldn't happen sure right like M Gibson's vision for Suicide Squad 2 should happen yeah do you guys also know that uh the director of what we do in the shadows that amazing movie that we all love except Matt and he's wrong uhuh and who is also doing Thor Ragnarok yeah is now in the works to direct a

movie based on the life of bubbles Michael Jackson's chimp Dan are you trying to avoid pronouncing his name um I don't know what you're talking about Matt whose name would that be Tao white Titi okay you don't have to be vulgar about it but I had to go I had to go on it y you did ta y Tity yeah that sounds about right yeah yeah probably doesn't sound like a question everything sounds like a question when you say it in an Australian accent guys remember bubbles yeah of course is the life of bubbles that interesting well we're GNA find out this is a chimp I mean that lived at Michael Jackson's house and used to get dressed by Michael Jackson

in matching but much smaller Michael Jackson clothing I don't know how this not be interesting I mean the [ __ ] this guy would have seen I'm hoping that they don't use a real chimp either and that they use the technology they use in Planet of the Apes yeah because then then this chimp can do literally anything man um I bet it's I bet it's like like a it's a real tear jerker as well like yeah this poor little who is going to play Michael Jackson or is it not about that does it just start with like well him being kidnapped from the jungle and in the distance you can hear [Laughter] well last time someone tried to betray Michael Jackson there was a big big uproar about it did you see that t it was a TV show I think uh when there was

a I forget the actor's name but he it was a white guy in a lot of makeup to make him look like Michael Jackson looked towards the end and people were a bit horrified by it they would have preferred a black actor in white face well see yeah that's the thing I mean we don't necessarily have to discuss what what would or wouldn't have been better but I do think it was a little bit of a tough call given the did you guys ever see subject matter did you guys ever see that artist uh composite sketch I guess that they were computer rendering I think it might have been that they did of Michael Jackson of what he would look like not now but you know

plastic surgery you normally no yeah yeah okay I found I'm going to past it oh wow that is like not the same person no no is interesting it's like a human being yeah it's just like a handsome older black man yeah oh it's a shame I mean yeah had a had an odd kind of sad life overall I think yeah I think we can safely say that did you see uh while we we mentioned Thor Ragnarok uh did you see they released just some concept art of something that happens in Thor Ragnarok and it's Thor in like a

gladiator style Arena fighting Hulk who's wearing like what like gladiator armor I'm like [ __ ] yeah so I I it like I don't know I didn't expect the film to be about that yeah evidently that's something that happens in one of the comic book series oh yeah but a lot of stuff happens in the comics that they wouldn't put in a movie cuz it's stupid like you know what I mean there's but that's what I like that they are like it's yeah I'd watch [ __ ] out of this you found it I've found a bunch of [ __ ] and I don't know what's real and not but I kind of don't care at this point yeah it it looks kind of amazing right overall y so I'm yeah I'm pretty pretty Keen to see this and Kate blanchet's in it um

and they showed some concept art of what her character looks like and it looks awesome does he fight her in a gladiator style Arena I don't know because I would watch that also yeah I am have something to say I haven't seen a Thor movie yet you haven't seen any of them no have you seen you should the Avengers I've seen The Avengers so you're aware of Thor haven't seen an Iron Man movie haven't seen you haven't seen any Iron Man movies nope I'm pasting down the bottom the picture that I was talking about and then just imagine how awesome it's going to be to watch this yeah absolutely Hulk's got an also yeah I was about to say I don't quite know why Hulk needs an axe but glad he's got one worry about it it's not that kind of movie dan

yeah I don't know why with the the all the Marvel movies I seem to be skipping like the Standalone ones I've seen the Captain America ones yeah right they're good and then M aveng ones and Guardians I know you you didn't like um Thor as much as I did Dan I know I remember we've had this conversation yeah I I liked Thor but I it was lesser to me than something like Iron Man I really enjoyed Thor 2 like a lot I I saw it in theaters and really enjoyed it now I have to admit I didn't see Thor 2 I thought it was very very good but I will catch up it's got Christopher eckelson in it come on guys okay all right watch anything with a former doctor you haven't see anything iron you know I haven't seen Iron Man 3 I need to watch Iron Man 3 no come on what three was all

right wasn't it I heard I mean two was garbage well not garbage it just wasn't only three was the worst of the three yeah three was by far the worst huh if you thought two was Baden seen it it's just what I've heard really okay we're talking about films do we want to talk I mean I was thinking the other day we could we could just change this to be a Star Wars podcast these days the way things are going like we could do a whole there's just so much news at the moment it's not our fault yeah it's and then because we used to get criticized uh for talking about Star Wars too much and that was before they were making Star Wars movies every year that's before we had this [Music]

jingle um and there's a [ __ ] ton of it this week I've noticed so I mean every week it's a it's a good time to be a Star Wars fan it is who is thandy Newton Tandy Newton why do I care about them possible to okay fine she was also in Westworld yeah she was TOS in West and now she's going to be in the hand Solo movie which okay I'm happy about because um I'm assuming she'll be just as nude in that as she was in Westworld yeah so we've discussed this before I'm sure but I was surprised by how nude she was in West world yeah I think we're all pleasantly surprised only because I mean which is ridiculous for me to say this but because she was a mission impossible too she was a big

starh yeah yeah she made a movie in Sy that's right yeah but no she's uh she's a great actress that movie's shaping up pretty well any idea who she's going to be playing in it or I think they're announcing those kind of details at this point plays Lando's mom I think that's that's feasible I guess yeah don't know Keen to find out I've accidentally popped the same article in here twice so uh I popped it in there once and you popped it in there once but slightly less Star Wars news uh but it's important news that's right they've replaced Kenny Baker I have a theory about this I me to obviously who it's not a theory Luke no no no I have a theory about the

replacement and my theory is that he's looking pretty old and my theor is that uh they get to kill far to deta in the next movie no because the replacement is old yes is that how droids work they're not they're not setting the replacement up to be around for a long time right so R2D2 heard it here first all right R2D2 is going to get killed by his son in uh Last Jedi or you think they were hoping Kenny Baker would wait until Al I just if they were planning that R2-D2 was going to be around for like another few more years they would have got someone younger to play the role okay and who are we really living in a day where they still have someone sitting in R2D2 to make him Shake hang on I I'm I like where you're

going with this because I'm amused by it but I am going to point out it doesn't really matter who's in there as long as they can shake the thing around a bit no but I mean Luke raises a valid point if it doesn't matter who's in there why did they choose another really really old dwarf yeah fair enough but on the other hand it's not like they've replaced him in this one and it's kind of you know when they replaced Pippa on home and away sorry again anybody spoilers no plus spoilers yeah spoilers but like it's not like they're gonna oh like when they replaced um Katie Holmes in the dark night and Dave [ __ ] boycotted the movie yeah that's right it's not like people are going to go see it and be like wait a minute that's not R2-D2 yeah I mean [ __ ] different guy

Anthony Daniels even kept playing 3PO when was no 3B to play you know they like to have it going but Jimmy ve looks like Bizarro Kenny Baker he does let me check this out Jimmy V yeah okay Bizarro Kenny Baker also in this picture it looks like he's just been caught out doing something he's not supposed to yeah playing R2D2 he's playing with something so he's already shot The Last Jedi presumably because he's it and we've learned this week thanks to the Wonder of foreign languages that the Last Jedi is plural that's right and we we speculated but it's uh thanks to the German and Spanish translation of the titles um which have

different words for groupings yeah they're like uh like gender specific kind of uh languages gender specific no groups specific they are they jenda specific as well yeah they are I know but I'm just realized that that's not what I meant ah um but are we sure that that is what it is someone that didn't just have someone who's on Google um translate just type in The Last Jedi to put on posters just type in The Last Jedi and see what it spits out cuz Google knows yes come on Google bust this wide open yeah oh the word Jedi thanks Google Disney did when they were making the posters for the different countries I like to think that they put

more effort in than that to be honest although it does seem strange that they wouldn't have picked up on that themselves like somebody in Germany must have said when sorry when I do this is this is this just one or is it to multiple of them and like they must have asked that question in order to to write the word correctly yeah to write the title you would imagine they would have to jump through a lot of Hoops and that it's not just yeah knock yourself out call whatever you want yeah but I I have just done Google translate and Google translate doesn't go to plural version it doesn't it doesn't okay though there might be some truth behind this now interesting see there are facts we're doing research now yeah

exactly oh we can ruin that yeah exactly I mean this is sort of related it's like Star Wars fans picking up a minutia uh like like that um they updated the the Star Wars the wiki on the Star Wars website you know the the database of all the information and um apparently they added to Ray and kylo Ren's articles just like adjusted them just the tiniest little bit and on both articles added um wording to the effect of there is a strange bond between them like a link between them and and like it's it's nothing it's just that they added a reference to a strange link between them and within days Star Wars fans were like what's that about like this [ __ ] eagle-eyed Star

Wars fans noticed that the words had changed so yeah no indication of what it means it just says uh is this just on Wikipedia cuz I could go do that no no no this is on the actual on the Lucas film like owned Star Wars we site they have like a DAT like a database on there of all the um characters and everything like that and they they updated Ray's page and then kylo Ren's page on the same day to add a little sentence about a strange connection between them with no context or anything like that yeah but to me I think we already knew they had a strange Bond when we do right he sucked all of his knowledge out his head yeah we know that except it's just people have picked up on the fact that they like specifically changed those two articles to say that in

a documentary this week actually today what'd you learn I am your father you learned that all right all right that's a surprise to me but uh all right yeah yeah yeah it's about custody and DNA and uh paternity test it's actually a documentary about David prow it's actually a video that a small child sent to Luke and was like I am you are my [Laughter] father well bodybuilding documentary is it yeah well that's what they said it was about it was actually about the director wait what oh the director he kept throwing himself into this documentary and making it about him oh like a really like a Michael more style documentary see I thought I've seen this on Netflix right and from my from what I

know of it I thought this was about David PR and that you know that you don't know who that is got interviews with him yeah and it even goes through and but the whole thing is to I think the director wanted just wanted to be able to say he's directed David PR cuz he gets him to they recreate oh the ending of returning to Jedi right right right right you can't see it at all oh right they just they assure you that they recreated it yes well they you see them filming it but then they go we can't funny like he sits goes David PR I I would like to would you like to film the ending return J we'll have you in and he goes yes the next thing goes to the director going who do I have to speak to there to be able to get permission to reshoot one of your seeds

from Return of the Jedi the disy said no course they say no did so just to clarify are we talking about the fact that prouse although he played Darth Vader in all three films never showed his face and finally when Darth Vader was unmasked they cast another actor Sebastian Shaw they had one of The Producers on there and he says the reason why this was done was they perhap looked young they someone who looked old enough to be Luke's father yeah mhm mhm I mean it makes sense well that does sound fair yep yep yeah if if Luke is right and in episode 8 they crack R2D2 open there's not going to be a dwarf inside just because there has been

playing it you know that would be an amazing scene though he just rolls out and everyone's like oh my God all the droids are like wait what did you think was inside of us yeah yeah and they just take off their helmets no but I think this movie this Docker was it was actually really disappointing it had it could have been so good that's a shame I was actually planning to watch it uh look I had like Jeremy bulock on there and had but I didn't go into details about his bodybuilding and things like that like he um he was the one who trained Christopher ree to be Superman right Tau him to fly him to

fly didn't go into any of that it's just really disappointing so it's just this dude fing him for an hour and a half was it no it's you don't even meet David PR till half an hour in what's it about before that oh interviewing with some other people and then how David press was hard done by Ander the director just talking about how he's upset and sad it was just having a wank pretty much this is a great review and I love it it's just just a wank well all right I was going to watch it but I don't know I'll I'll see well you can watch it and see what you think all right to hear what you think

all right I'll watch it this week wow you've been put in your place Matthew yeah Bud H all right and um well little bit more Star Wars news John Williams is currently uh I mean probably not right now because it's early in the morning but he is currently uh writing the score for the Last Jedi because uh he wants to do another one and he's not sure he's going to be able to do episode 9 is how that it was worded in an article that I read so that was a bit sad but uh yeah he's getting the Last Jedi done oh and he wanted to spend more time on this one as well because he like the this might be his last one no well the the themes for um for Ray and for kylo Ren and the new characters were kind of um underdeveloped yeah he said there's there's more to them that he

didn't get to get to in the force awakens because they were introducing them uh whereas in this one he wanted to spend more time on it and um and kind of Flesh those out so well that makes sense and I'm glad to hear that because I I did feel that Force awakens didn't necessarily bring anything really new and exciting to the table in terms of themes I think Ray's theme is great in in the force awakens and so I'm really Keen to hear more of that kind of stuff and because I mean honestly his music like even as much as I you know I'm not huge on the prequels we've discussed this but but the music is [ __ ] amazing the music isic yeah exactly right and um across the Stars you know the love theme from

Attack of the Clones like all of those scenes are [ __ ] atrocious except the music is amazing in the [ __ ] scene where Anakin's being a creepy weirdo down by the river and the music's on and then he like she goes no and then there's like a record scratch [ __ ] damn it George Don't one star review I know there's not actually a record scratch I know it just Fades out very suddenly and it's abup and it shits me you know I started to doubt I almost believed you this is probably exactly what that what chilling seven was talking about no but but yeah well [ __ ] you for starters Chiller seven but but the thing is that every time I convince myself that those prequels aren't as bad as I remember

they're worse than I remember yeah it's true [ __ ] awful I don't know what I was thinking at the time all right and speaking of the prequels uh there's a new Star Wars novel out Star Wars aftermath aftermath aftermath [ __ ] no it's after maath it's uh it's about after per I've been hanging out here in America too long um aftermath it's the force awakens prequel right after aftermath the ah [ __ ] I don't know it comes after the destroy it talks about what happens between right yeah right and so the new one that's out uh has Judo minks in it and we get to find out what he's up to he's still alive please brutally murdered no oh almost as good yeah he's a [ __ ] homeless street [Laughter]

performer uh and they call him the clown yeah and uh yeah I [ __ ] still baffles me that this is like I don't know why they had to put this in there there's in the new book apparently there's a scene where uh some people refugees arrive and there's a goofy gungan who entertains them and performs for the kids and does tricks and uh and it says where are he he leaps back up into the air and comes down with a splash Le from compass point to Compass Point back and forth before finally conking his head on the edge and plopping down on his butt shaking his head tongue wagging all the kids laughed and then the gungan laughed too the clown they called him bring the clown we want to see the clown we like it how he juggles glbo shells or

spits fish up in the air and catches them or how he dances around and falls on his butt yeah yeah I'll say this it doesn't sound like the most well-written novel no no and then the kids ask him why does everyone hate him and he says am I not so sure Misa thinks it cuz J making some uh mistakes big mistakens the ganga boss has banished me long time ago Misa and no been to home in forever and they think I help the Empire that's my judge of B impression um no that was good good impression um yeah look I think if you're gonna bring jar back uh I think Luke's right you want you want him choking on a bullet you know like you a bit of closure there you don't want to just know that he never

really made anything of himself but you got to think the people did just screw him over cuz where where did he end up in at the end of Revenge of the Sith Jaa yeah I can't remember where he was uh well he in Revenge of the Sith doesn't he's the one who proposes that they give emergency powers to the Emperor or does that happen in yeah no does that happen in Attack of the Clones that might happen in clones uh tell you padme's no I just don't know I don't know where he sort of just ended up where they decide to hide the the [ __ ] princess or queen on her own Planet cuz no one will think to look there the senator rather she's a senator at that point Sorry podcast multiple nerd g.com feel free to write

or the week before might have been I forget when that you were actually going to go off and give money to I'm talking about Apocalypse Now lucky I didn't lucky I didn't well it wouldn't have mattered you would have just not got charged I think but they would they cuz they did not get close lucky you didn't because you would have got excited and then this would have happened yes they canceled the kickstarter but it's not just cancelled it's deleted you I can't find it on the kickstarter site at all anymore I think they were a little embarrassed yeah I think they were embarrassed uh of their poor result they wanted a million bucks they got 100 Grand 100 Grand is not that you know like I mean that's a it's a decent amount of money but it's it's not a million bucks

no so because they didn't quite get their million what they did was made their own website yeah and then they're asking for 5.9 million yeah they're just um normal crowd sourcing didn't work now they're just begging Cas originally that's this is what they were going to do anyway remember they were going to take the million and then they were going to have another site that this is the amount of money that they were aiming for to begin with look I still hope they do it I'm uh I'm not going to kick in especially now that it's off of Kickstarter because as you as you rightly pointed out you're covered when kickstarters don't make their goals you're not covered when

people just ask for money and you give it to them MH yeah I mean I don't know this is it's not a good sign no yeah I just I worry that uh I want to play this game like it's Apocalypse Now and Fallout New Vegas yeah I mean as this article States if if this is I mean yes it sounds great and if these people you know know pardon me if they know what they're doing and and if it's as awesome as they say why isn't a big publisher giving them the money cu that that sounds like a lot of money to crowdfund but for for a big budget game which this would be obviously well they said they don't want to go through a publisher because all of them have experience freedom to do what they want

I can understand that fair enough all right understand that I don't know it's just but I just don't think there is enough interest yeah in the people who run around and back things I don't think there's enough interest there and look let's be honest I mean this is not going to be a big mainstream game now is it I mean I'm going to play it you're going to play it some other nerds will play it and it's just it's not going to make back the 5 million it costs to develop this game yeah I'm assuming that I want to go to a publish because it's going to be too much violence drug use and all this [ __ ] crazy [ __ ] maybe awesome [ __ ] and and then no one will touch it or they border it right down and they wouldn't get a release in Australia oh or Singapore

either probably yeah I can play it their entry level into this to get a copy of the game is now $25 right and it's they're not going to get close to their and you've got to pay that up front right it's not like it's different now it's not like Kickstarter like the minimum is 25 and you pay it whether or not the game gets made you you're giving them $25 basically like no matter what yeah I just they've already made $200,000 but I just have the feeling that this game isn't going to be made yeah I'll continue to keep an eye on it and if it does get a bit closer I might consider yeah but at the moment I I waste money but I'm not going to waste money on this yet you should put that on the poster
