whatever happened with Segways you mean this transitioning from one conversation to another or we do those all the time just not very well welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy the actual segue that was going to replace walk the guy who invented them rode his off a cliff that's that's actually true that's not a joke on purpose well avoiding maybe a pedestrian maybe it was a suicide well I'll tell you they've evolved beyond the segue but walking replacement devices are alive and well here cuz I know in Australia

there's nothing I saw Segways and I Yep they're cool I want one they're really expensive now but in a few years I'll be a bit cheaper and they just disappeared well they disappeared cuz they're too big but there's plenty of uh little two-wheeler ones and even one wheelers that hoverboard things right yeah that everyone hovers I know they're not and you know they're not apparently the manufacturers don't know they're not pretty sure they know manufacturers are gone it's 2015 people want hoverboards slap hoverboard on that and sell it yeah have you guys noticed that uh the people that are using these uh War Alternatives look like they are the kind of people that could do with a bit of exercise not in all cases some of them

are like sporty looking people doing tricks on them but yeah most of the time I have yet to see that and I probably wouldn't be impressed with that I must admit uh mostly young kids trying to look cool right or overweight people that have decided no walking's for Chums walking is the Chums well you've got not that overweight people that legitimately need a wheelchair accepted yeah you've got a dud leg so no I just I was just thinking about it today I really want one you can do segue tours I've seen those yeah like they that's still a thing yeah I was looking forward to the day where I could just own one and just cuz I'd probably go to the shops more often you could switch careers and become a mall cop and you may uh you may

allocated one I think a m cop would be a terrible job to start your career in now malls are disappearing Ms are disappearing it used to be a good reputable job now to Asia me Ms are disappearing I just buy everything online right even with that man Mo culture is huge over here so you're saying if they wanted to arrest you they'd have to ride the segue all the way to your house they'd have to ride it through the internet yeah from uh from the Amazon warehouse from the in South America W cops kind arrest anyone they could just ask you to leave well they could at least former citizens arrest and sorry we've already discussed

they've been replaced with robots yeah that's right suicidal robots who wake up one morning realize [ __ ] I'm a m even robots know how pointless that job is and they're just killing themselves cuz the robot saw a picture of a segue looked at its body and was just like oh [ __ ] it I'll never be able to Rite that I had actually booked a uh a segue tour for a shoot that I was doing in intramuros Manila uh and then on the day the guy told me that even though it wasn't raining now because it had rained earlier in the day and the ground was still slightly damp he was not allowed to rent me the Segways oh what yeah that's a shame I argued I stood and argued but to no the most pointless thing I apparently they are quite dangerous I don't work work in water

well I mean to be fair they're land land transport true and uh he he rented me a bunch of golf cars instead which I must admit were pretty fun to drive around this guy has just got like whatever you need mate but just not the Segways yeah M you want a tank I'll get you in a tank today but I can not in good conscious put you on a segue in this damp ground Blackhawk helicopter got you covered you they can get all kinds of vehicles over in those countries though right from what I understand what evidence are you basing that on well I've heard Tales of uh of I mean vehicles and and also Weaponry with people being able to fire rocket launchers and things yeah that's a thing not not so much there but there are there are places not too far from here where you can uh where you can rent

guns and shoot them I mean you can shoot at a Target here if you want with a variety of legal weapons but not with a rocket launcher no if you go up to Cambodia uh then there's there's these little businesses run by like these little army outposts that kind of run it themselves and you can you can pay to shoot any weapon that they've got at any animal that you can find I have heard bad stories about those ones where people have gone in fired lots of guns and they've gone yep you now owe us more money huh give us more money now well I know people that have done it and haven't had that but it doesn't surprise me that that happens too a friend of mine was in Cambodia and uh wanted to shoot a it wasn't a rocket launcher but I think they wanted to shoot a like an

AK-47 or something and the guys are like what do you want to shoot it at he's like I don't know a Target they're like no no I mean what animal like pig cow he's like no no I just want to shoot at the Target I'm going to kill an animal yeah I just want to fire it off somewhere I don't want to kill something and they're like all right we'll just attach the target to this cow and you can go nice I've never shot a gun I I I I enjoy shooting I just don't want to shoot at living things I've never fight a gun I'm I'm I'm gonna have to do that since I'm in America but uh I mean you're going to have to it's your it's your right as America I'm surprised they gave you my green card before I had I'm looking forward to going back to America just so I can shoot guns okay well next time

we're all there let's go shooting yes yes yeah I want to go up in the Light plane I'm putting my [ __ ] name down for that keeps happening when I'm there and I want to shoot a gun okay get your asses over here I want to shoot the gun from The Light plane if that wasn't clear to be fair I think it's probably our turn to come and visit you uh at some point coming over I I will be going back over once Star Wars land has been open for a year tell you what come to Southeast Asia we'll go up to Cambodia and we'll shoot rocket launchers at cows do we have to shoot them at cows only live once well tell you what Luke I'm G to give the cows rocket launchers too so it's a matter of us or them okay so you can choose not to shoot the cow okay with that basically like Quake death match with

cows that should be a thing gos with gun uh do you guys remember Vanilla Ice Ice Ice Baby MH MH we actually uh we have talked about vanilla ice on the podcast before this is from memory uh but I know that we have and I believe the last time we talked about Vanilla Ice the last update we gave he had been arrested for stealing lawn furniture do you remember that how the mighty have fallen this was this was many years ago do you don't remember that yeah I kind of do remember he's famous for two things one is uh telling white people that it's okay to steal musical styles from the black community and for stealing that lawn furniture out of a house that he was showing right yes he not now now he's famous for three

things he has his own home renovation show on the DIY Network we discovered last night is he showing how to steal people's furniture and then install it into your place it's basically each season from what we can gather he finds an old house in Florida and then the season each episode is him and his team renovating an aspect of it like he he renovates houses that's what he does now no but that's that's his business that's why he got caught stealing the lawn furniture yeah yeah and now he stealing it out of a show home wow now he has a reality TV show about it and and I'm wondering I can't remember how long ago this update was maybe maybe it happened as part of the show so I'm have to go back to season one and check it out because that does

sound familiar you know what yeah that does sound familiar wow L furniture and now his own show it's not the best show but it is interesting just because it's him speaking of people that now have their own shows on the [ __ ] homes Network I uh I was in Georgetown Malaysia last weekend uh just chillaxin and uh the hotel had um TV channels and I've I've not had TV channels for years right so so I was you know I was having a fun novelty of just looking at what was on at that exact moment which is how TV used to work uh which i' forgotten but um there was a show called unreal estate

which uh Stars my mate [ __ ] cam Knight right oh yeah um who just goes around to really rich people's houses and kind of sarcastically talks about all the overindulgent stuff they've got wa and that was on where were you at the time Malaysia his shows on in Malaysia yeah yeah that's cool that's pretty yeah I know so this filmed in Sydney yeah it's filmed all around Australia right right you some of these their manions on the Gold Coast and things like that oh good on him yeah I know you can see him in uh in the tail drop available on Amazon $2.99 to rent $9.99 to buy buy it why not you're going to want to watch it over and over again I don't understand why you'd rent renting's over and done

with I think just buy it but I get like if you delete it do you still own it is it like uh you know what I mean because I don't want a bunch of files clogging up my computer of movies I've watched once that I may or may not want to watch again but the second G of the days as long as the sight's still there it's still there for you I kind of know what you mean Luke when I moved I had an entire crate full of DVDs that I had we've talked about this before I moved them out of the cases into sleeves cuz I didn't have room for them all uh they were in a crate there was like a thousand or more of them and how as I was going through them to determine what I would keep and what I would get rid of I got rid of most of them I I was like

did I watch this at least once when I after i' bought it on DVD and in most cases the answer was no I bought it because I liked when I saw it yeah and then never watched the DVD it's pointless but you're still supporting them more than what renting just buy it well no cuz rentals get uh buy Dan's movie rentals get subsidized for buy it actually I don't know if that works digital I don't know it doesn't right cuz uh it used to be that if you rented a DVD from from Blockbuster or some other place that doesn't exist anymore they paid extra for that copy right yeah in some cases hundreds of dollars right to sub multiple people would be watching it yeah y so I wonder how that works with rentals although I guess you do you get the do you get any money from the

sales of the tail can we talk about this on the show or not yeah we can um and yeah I do uh I get a percentage of okay oh so it's kind of like uh you know like cuz I got music on iTunes is it does it work like that it's exactly like that yeah okay there you go yeah makes sense now the more people watch it and buy it the more money you get everyone go buy it yeah do it and then let us know I got Amazon Prime so I don't have to buy it but yeah I don't know how it works with the subsidy from Amazon Prime probably like Spotify or something perhaps when you get uh cut per stream that's how Spotify works well we finally have Amazon here in Singapore oh really there yeah they were holding out since they started like the tail job went on they actually what's on Amazon Prime is

actually gotten a lot better yeah cuz Amazon had an Australian site like do you use Amazon Australia Luke for the video yeah do they have that Prim video.com yeah we have it okay and it was terrible like last right months ago it was terrible there was nothing on it but now it's got the tail job yeah now it's got the tail job and got one movie that's worth watching saes are through the I just watched The Tick oh yeah so sorry you watch The Tick you watch the tail job and then you watch The Tick right yeah watch the tail job first yes we'll go with that then the tick yeah we'll go with that yep I've watched the tail job okay I haven't watched on Amazon Prime I've just watched the video you gave me and then I flew to New York to

see it all right no one's criticizing you no one's accusing you of not having seen it with their mouth full sorry someone just brought me in a pie all right just had funny let me just finish the last bite a pie an apple pie oh man I mean you haven't had breakfast yet but I'm jealous yeah I know and you're the one in America and I'm the one eating an apple pie actually I don't think it is on Prime right the tail job yeah for some reason I can't get it on Prime here well you can definitely get it here in the US and I have encouraged people to do that yeah actually know about Australia but you can in the US you can in Europe you can in um Japan really yeah I think you can't watch it in Australia we do have a TV an

upcoming TV date really in Australia so it's going to be screened on the special Broadcasting Service SBS there you go yeah yeah so maybe once maybe once that's over ah that cuz that is a thing where it has to be able to watch on television first and stuff like that so yeah that might be it cuz I can I can search for it and I can find it to rent and buy but when I'm on Prime video and I go the tail job just comes up with the tick oh that's interesting and I guess I guess that's cuz uh Peter sarap finix is in both I guess are you saying that that when that's the the only other movie with the word the in the title no that's just the most prominent one on there because they're really pushing for people to watch the ti cuz they just

released a new series on there so they'll just show it no matter what you search for cuz they're desperate for people to watch it everything comes it comes up we couldn't find the tail job but here's the tick he's The Grand Tour he's American Gods so just all the stuff that they have made oh okay all right yeah it's not putting stuff that's close to stuff starting with the just anything that they put money into is this the same The Tick as like 10 plus years ago no it's a new one with Batman well Batman Well's not in it oh Batman well was the best thing about the tick here is the strangest thing cuz I've been talking about we sat there and watched with Hannah and then cuz I love the television show back in the day yeah

um and you know and I was talking about the live action one it was a cartoon first right yes I didn't know about the cartoon oh no I knew I do you know I've never seen it but I knew about I knew it was a cartoon but Hannah's experience of it was from the cartoon and mine was from the television show right I because it was a comic book first as well right or not I've actually yeah I believe was absolutely I'm just terribly interested in this version because it's Peter sarapin Peter S I mean it was putty in the old one and he was [ __ ] great but I do adore Peter sah finits AKA Darth ma because we talking about Batman well Hannah had no idea because he's not in the cartoon right what's that guy that eats all the food Mr Butterworth bton J the Hut no Peter

sarap shut up the guy that eats all the food Peter S come on people at home are going [ __ ] come on from what from from from the pet sarap show oh you know what I don't know hold on Butterfield speaking of TV mhm Twin Peaks is over oh forever right I thought they were talking about having another series we finally we finally know who killed Laura Palmer well we knew that in season one of the old Twin Peaks you find you found that out and then it and then it got weirder from there but the uh they were talking about well

people had said are you going to do more after this cuz this is this is going off people are loving this and at the time I think Showtime had said well I haven't really spoken to him about it and then he never come up and then well no that's true because apparently David Lynch had said no we're not going to talk about it wait till the end and then maybe we can talk about okay that and then it got to the end and they were like okay no that was the end that's why we didn't want to talk about it oh so apparently this is that's it and uh I don't want to give any spoilers cuz I don't know that I could because it's Twin Peaks and I don't know that I even really know what happened but but I did enjoy it a lot I there were times I'm sure the listeners will remember over

this past season where I've been frustrated at Mr Lynch and where I've said I was confused about whether I even was enjoying it as I was watching it no I did you still don't know no no I itely I thoroughly enjoyed it so so you did enjoy it then absolutely yeah the season cuz there were some stages where you yeah you weren't enjoying it but you're still forcing yourself yeah but that's that's part of watching something David Lynch made I think yeah which is why I didn't watch it week to week because now if I'm watching one of those episodes I can go okay on to the next one get that out of my head yeah oh there's one episode this season that I was just like [ __ ] in hell like come on man and you'll know it when you see it I'm sure because it it was just like like what am I

watching and and then even just there are scenes where this is not a spoiler there's a scene where a guy sweeps up for 10 minutes and then and then it just cuts to something else like wow was it a main character sweeping up or just an extra sweeping I thought it was like is this important and then and then it just no it's just David Lynch he's just a I saw a play like that once have I ever told you guys about this so you seeing a play once or twice yeah no so I've seen you in a play yeah not for a while no when and I when and I years ago we went to this play called edus schmus right Yep this is at the Belvoir Street Theater in Sydney and um that's a [ __ ] awesome name yeah yeah the awesomeness ended there um or either that or the whole

thing was brilliant and we just didn't understand it it's one of those right yeah so we go in and these two women come out onto the stage whole stage is just painted white white floor white walls white backdrop and they're wearing these white like lab coats and they come out and they bow you know everyone claps politely and then they say we will now proceed to act out every death scene from every play in the history of drama and then they they just okay they do all the deaths back back right super compressed it takes about 5 6 minutes right and it's pretty cool okay so they're going through like Greek tragedies Roman melodramas right they're going through like all of

Shakespeare and they're doing it with these props that are spurting blood everywhere right so there's [ __ ] blood going everywhere okay like front row getting splattered with blood kind of thing right and then so it takes about five minutes right then they they leave the stage and the place is covered in blood [ __ ] covered the walls are floor and we're like okay interesting this person comes in with a mop right and starts mopping mopping up right and we're like okay where's this going right starts mopping mopping about [ __ ] 5 minutes in more 10 minutes in maybe they realize that everyone's still just sitting there looking at him looks up and says this is not part of this show I'm just mopping up between

scenes and everyone goes oh okay and then slowly people start getting up and going to the bar and the the concession stand um during what we've now realized is interval five minutes into the show maybe that's that's where maybe that's what happened in David Lynch is too old and he was like he's like this is fantastic and then this guy's like um all right yeah like don't tell David Lynch that this is not part of his script he can't even remember what he wrote script no I love David Lynch I really do oh and uh kyl mcin is just [ __ ] awesome like it's worth it just to watch him as because he he plays a few characters in this car mlin plays a few characters yeah wow and and he's so good because he's completely different well

he is good I mean KL mclen is arguably the best thing about Twin Peaks other than the David Lynch isness of it yes yeah yeah this one this season is more David Lynch kind of Lost Highway M Holland Drive David Lynch the early Twin Peaks the first two seasons of Twin Peaks are a different in tone to that stuff if you know I'm sure you know what I mean they're like yeah goofy in 80s where this the uh the sense of humor is slightly different yeah this is more like Lost Highway that's great I [ __ ] love lost [ __ ] dark it's violent and dark and like uh it's funny it's still funny in fact it's [ __ ] hilarious in parts and uh and and he's in It Again David Lynch is in it as of course he is

Jason baitman from I mean you know everyone knows Jason baitman from uh Arrested Development from Teen Wolf 2 or from Teen Wolf 2 uh or from Valerie the sitcom in the80s uh that they fired Valerie from and then uh renamed it Valerie's family for the next season anyway way uh this is not a comedy this is a like a real dark serious movie about family on the Run uh it's [ __ ] tense it's really told uh yeah yeah yeah yeah I was told about this recently by by Brendan our trivia host Brendan if you're listening how you doing buddy uh did Brendon recommend it to you he did I think can't remember if he recommended it or if he just said he was watching it probably didn't bother mentioning it if it was something he casually watched and didn't enjoy well

exactly exactly why would no it was great I like Jason bitman it's just not a comedy interesting knew it is not no no I don't know that he he might be a little cuz he's a straight guy in uh Arrested Development yeah it might be a little bit like Charlie Sheen having watched top Hot Shots whereas I just think he's always being funny yeah yeah uh he is the straight guy in this too in a way he's kind of this every man that all this horrible [ __ ] happens to hm yeah all right if if I had to pin a genre on this I'd say this is Redneck Noir geez all right yeah you have my attention yeah that's that's all we're asking for season two of riverdale's on soon Dan I know I know God I'm to sit through that

9021 he doesn't play Dylan from Beverly Hills 90210 in this you sure I mean he's Dylan like I'll give you that I mean it could it could be Dylan growing up with a kid yeah so I maybe he's on something actually I didn't understand well she's going out with Jug Head and yeah you know they're dating in real life so you're wrong no no no I'm not wrong it's meant to be Archie with Betty and Veronica there is an Archie Betty and Veronica love triangle and but he's also got the hots for the teacher and she's in love with Jug Head and it's just too confusing teacher is not in love with juge head the actor who plays juge head has an Instagram account where he posts photos of Paparazzi trying to take photos of

him it's called is it photography Wars camera Jewels Instagram account camera Jewels it's there like thousands and thousands of photos with funny captions uh and it's co spr Tak phot camera jeels I'm looking at it right now he it's literally anyone trying to get a picture of him right even subtly on a train in a restaurant yeah pretty funny wow it's a good hobby you got to do something in your downt I guess I just got really confused and now I've remembered that he's an identical twin oh yeah that's right yeah I was like so just reading under Star Wars news this title that's been highlighted and I was like the [ __ ] I didn't see this article in here yet do we want to do Star Wars news oh yeah first of all yeah I think we are before

to going to hurt somebody maybe they were worri that people going think it was a Bigfoot yeah or a Sasquatch yeah or sorry Abominable Snowman that's the one I'm looking for yeah well he didn't deny it um straight away he came out and uh he made this statement got banned from thread Bow by CEO Jordan Rogers for riding in the chewbaca costume so I dropped him he lost Consciousness and some teeth this guy sounds like a [ __ ] withit yeah actually as I look through it I think is a bad name I think he's I think he is a [ __ ] withit this guy yeah I mean this guy definitely sounds like a right [ __ ] withit yeah so is this guy is the is the general manager all right no no he's not he got his [ __ ] head smashed in so he's not he's not good he's not good and

everyone's really unhappy about this I bet yeah fredb are refusing to give a statement yet uh but charges have been pressed um yeah good so the guy's currently detained um I'm assuming that you've got to do more than just wear a Chewbacca costume uh to get banned from threadb do you know what I mean it sounds like he almost certainly wearing a checa costume comma and being a [ __ ] in some way I think I actually have feeling that this guy does have a bit of a problem with authority and fitting in a little bit because um he's also the second person he won this year he won the right and he's the second person to be able to wear a colander on his head for his driver's license photo yeah you kid so I think he's always just trying to find

ways to sort of subvert the system and cause problems or he'd probably see it as being unique and fighting the system cuz there's an argument there and I bet I know what his argument was but I also I don't looking at this this his behavior I also not sure I believe that he actually cares about yeah the reason people want to wear a colander is because you're allowed to wear religious attire in a license photo and then and then there's a question of whether that's fair cuz you know if if you can wear it for that reason why can't you wear it just cuz you feel like like it uh and so pastafarians wear a color on their head uh and said that they P pastafarians so that they can wear you know yeah but the whole making fun of

the whole thing where you can wear religious things he actually reading this article he does actually wear that around a lot not just for the photo the thing with pastan it's an atheist movement you're not supposed to believe in pastafarianism right it's just [ __ ] yeah it it it's it's it's scientists yeah it was a yeah it's a joke exactly right and it's saying well if if if you think that your God arbitrarily uh created the universe then why can't my God the pastor monster arbitrarily have spaghetti monster Flying Spaghetti Monster yeah yes yeah it's not actually a religion so if a guy's going around believing in pastafarianism he's already missed the point right of this sarcastic

thing presumably hopefully he doesn't actually believe it because that he's he definitely a [ __ ] with no I don't think he actually believes I think but he likes to go around and be confrontational about it which I you know that's it seems clear from uh from some of this [ __ ] on the in the Articles which was the idea of Pastor fum it was it was in Conflict but it was within context as well exactly yeah yeah but it's sort of very weird like you don't come out if you do get that and you get arrested if you do punch someone and knock them out and make them lose teeth and then you're arrested you don't break about it on Facebook unless you're a [ __ ] which case I think if you're a [ __ ] you do I I think we've just nailed

truth not too upset about that yeah yeah I mean Jurassic world was not my favorite film sh film and everyone knows it yeah I didn't see Henry which is the other film he did that apparently was really [ __ ] now he has done a film before that called Safety Not Guaranteed uh which was quite good I'll say that quite good just a little presumably he must have cuz that's otherwise it wouldn't let him do Jurassic world but yeah uh well evidently Spielberg saw that and liked it so much he said bam you want Jurassic Park [ __ ] hell all right but apparently it went to his head we need to get the tail job in front of Spielberg sounds like yeah yeah St if

you're listening uh $299 to rent and $999 to buy bu even going to com him a coffee faor Spielberg you can afford it you know how you know how [ __ ] out of pocket I am in this goddamn movie he can afford it yeah there's mixed headlines know why he was fired well was he fired or did he quit I've seen mixed headlines well yeah they he split with Disney because of uh creative differences which is exactly what they said when uh the hand solo guys left yeah yeah and I did uh there's an article I've put in here that insiders have said uh they think he got a bit of a bit of an ego after he did Jurassic World and he was basically bossing everyone around telling everyone what to do and and thinking he was the best because

he'd been hired by Steven Spielberg to make a Jurassic Park film uh but he ruined it and apparently yeah he pissed a lot of people off and then he uh and then he made that Henry movie which wasn't very good and he uh he was particularly arrogant when he was making that and they said now he's trying to work with Kathleen Kennedy with that attitude and right and finally someone's been like yeah we don't don't cover that [ __ ] here so I don't know that's true that's you know well look it makes more sense than the alternative because earlier in the week we just heard that there were creative differences which is exactly what we got told about Han Solo and so everyone's like [ __ ] man Kathy Kennedy must have like a pretty strict idea in her head and if you deviate from

that then you just get fired um but Ryan Ryan Gosling who the [ __ ] Ryan Johnson Ryan Johnson yeah Ryan Johnson Ryan Johnson came out and was like no I could do what I wanted you know I just told him was doing they like yeah that's cool and I went and did it I maybe he's just not a [ __ ] being a dick yeah gets you fired Al sorry it's book of Henry is is is Trevor's other film I haven't seen it I do like the Henry portra seral killer starring which is a great it's better that they've done it now than not when they're weeks into filming well apparently they have already shot some stuff for it but only because um Trevor o uh asked Ryan Johnson shoot some specific scenes for it while he was doing his film which I believe is

exactly what Ryan Johnson asked JJ ABS to do yeah they' sort of already filmed parts of episode 8 before we'd even seen seven CU they kept filming after Ray and Luke meet they kept filming there yeah right yeah so of course now everyone's speculating about who it's going to be to replace him me yeah it might be You Luke going to announce it now Luke what's your vision what's your vision as a director you You' always got to kind of sell your vision before they hire your job this ready ready what I'm going in with there's going to be a war mhm in the Stars okay all right in the stars giant balls of that's not as original as it was in the in the 60s just uh just putting that out there barely any stars in it and they're just in the background there's going to be stars now right okay

the stars are front and center now in your Version Y yep yeah they get a few people from the tail drob in oh oh okay mhm go on come on you can't leave me hanging like that Luke who who who you picking from the tail job it's cam KN isn't it I'm sorry you didn't make it [ __ ] cam KN again I'm sorry you were close Matt but it's got to be cam not quite there maybe do a little bit more acting few things under your belt and we can look at nine okay no that's fine we do a series of shorts in between how many how many things do you have to act in how many separate things probably another four things okay we can make four short films in a year all right yep if this is how Steven Spielberg picks people I think that's many things he

done I think that's what Kathy Kennedy said to those uh that guy that she said wasn't doing a good enough job of young hand solo yeah you know maybe and then she was like she's like Trevor has directed four things and he was like actually I've only directed three things she was like [ __ ] off are people worried about it being bad because he's left I don't think no I'm not worried about it being bad you know what I'm worried about I'm worried about the next one being bad because while I loved brick his little indie film I [ __ ] hated everything else Ryan Johnson has made everything else Brothers Bloom awful Looper awful those two episodes he did of Breaking Bad a show that I loved [ __ ] awful okay I'm

not looking forward to this I mean I I'm concerned take a Time on sale yet and it's annoying me while we're talking about it uh I went to hascon yesterday which is a I saw lots of photos I saw lots of photos from both of you is that the hasin convention yeah well James gun was there a that's a that's a come on you know we all know I love James gun now I just thought I didn't but actually worked out who he was and yeah oh yeah I like literally all of his films yeah I just got him confused with someone else but uh James knife it's uh Hasbro is based here in in Providence and they put on their own convention now this was the first one oh that's focused around toys obviously uh

for obvious reasons but uh they do Marvel and Star Wars and Dungeons and Dragons uh apparently Wizards of the Coast is owned by Hasbro I didn't know that Wizards of the Coast sounds like a surfing version of Dungeons and Dragons I think cuz their Wizards is in Seattle and so they're on the coast I think that's why they called that oh yeah but I I mean that might not be true that's I just know that they're from I've been to Seattle there is a coast that's absolutely true man there you go in fact you were there with me the coast yeah we ate a lot of seafood didn't we just so they had uh they had a bunch of stuff there including new Star Wars toys some of which I think might have been spoilers I didn't send you all of them

for that reason there was some things in particular that I was like I think that's a spoiler so I mean maybe it's not maybe they just wanted to make some interesting toys but there's some stuff in there that you have to be careful with the toys cuz remember that's gave the soundtrack for episode one gave a huge spoiler you have to be careful with all that stuff well we uh we had a chat with the they had a kind of setup that showed you how they make toys now and and it was really really interesting they they instead of hand modeling things now they model them up in zbrush on a computer 3D model them 3D print them and then that goes in to to be made into a mold and that's how excuse me that's how they make I bet with Star Wars you never know

who's the one up the chain and then after the 3D artist scans it the 3D printer shoots him and then after he 3D prints it the painter shoots that guy we thought that and then we we got chatting to one of the painters um this girl went to she went to Art School found out you could get a job as uh action figure painter at Hasbro and was like a [ __ ] that's my job so she Paints the prototypes for Star Wars um mostly she yeah mostly does the Star Wars ones and that's whenever you look at the back of the box that's the Prototype and that's the one that she did like that's the oh right the the one that they show uh that's the one that they before they start Mass producing exactly she does the painting and I said do you get spoilers and she's like [ __ ] Yeah I get

spoilers I love it she goes I know I've I've seen like they get the script because they they go well because you know they they propose some ideas for toys and stuff like that and then they go uh I said I want to be careful because I don't I don't want to say anything and I don't even know what's a spoiler and what isn't because one of the other guys there was getting really excited as well because apparently he's he's getting spoilers left right and Center as well and he was saying you know like they'll they'll be asked to make something and he's like why why are we making that why is why is that missing what's why why is that person got that what's going on and I was like whoa whoa H and uh interesting yeah so apparently they they know all sorts of

[ __ ] and uh and I did send you some some potential spoilers yes there was one where a certain character was wearing a certain outfit that one would have been a spoiler yep yep and uh and then is that Finn in the [ __ ] in the [ __ ] outfit yeah suit so Finn's out of the coma into the [ __ ] suit yeah coma I posted one on uh I posted one on Instagram already and then I'm I'm sh mean hopefully this is not a spoiler but have you did you see snoke's [ __ ] Grandpa robes yeah it's great it really does look like he's in his dressing gown yeah it looks like uh Hugh Hefner like evil Hugh Hefner bad day but uh but yeah the convention was good uh we saw some of the new toys we

saw James gun talk about Guardians of the Galaxy which is uh was really good he's actually very good uh he's very interesting person to to watch talk about his process and all that kind of stuff and a very funny guy to put in front of what is mostly an audience of kids or supposed to be an audience of kids at a toy convention that is geared towards kids because he uh he clearly doesn't have a filter so nice that was fun but yeah that was uh good con I would go again and I will go again next year yeah nice mhm so where was that that was in Rhode Island yeah just at the convention center here in Rhode Island wow awesome yeah got a bunch of freebies oh yeah what'd you

get uh we got uh big big fluffy D20 dice we got uh what else we got another bag full of stuff we got oh yeah we got uh Magic the Gathering cards and like a deck holder and some other stuff I'm being handed the free things that we got oh yeah Norwegian air water bottles uh I don't know some Tonka merchandise bu Tonka okay yeah trucks ton around yeah y I mean those things are tough man they're probably just selling the same ones just re repackaging them could be just give them a little bit of a touchup oh they had the Thor's costume from Ragnarok was there so got to see that closeup as well as like Captain America from Civil War and darl Lord's Guardians 2 costume was

there it was good not just for kids in case people were wondering yeah oh great big kids too a it's like him making him a plug yeah I am a bit Yeah well I want him to invite me next year well we had a cont day too we had stgcc which is the sing ComiCon there you go yeah it was great how was that excellent yeah um and man this is Aon I've been to the last three years and uh it's it's bigger this year twice as big as it was last year so it's obviously on the up and up um which was great one thing I noticed at the end though you know what there wasn't there wasn't a comic book stand there like really a place where you could buy comic books like there's

every year at every con there's that and I was thinking I might pick up myself some new books uh no no lots of other stuff [ __ ] tons of toys um tons of toys including the whole new Star Wars range I wonder M if we saw some of the same things wink you may have I saw in a snap that you sent me that they had this is not spoiler because obviously everyone's seen it now but kylo Ren's new TIE fighter I saw you had a huge one of them there yeah God that's a nice one yeah that's pretty cool yeah yeah I just saw the little little toy versions of it but yeah pretty cool and and I I I went to the war memorial I saw that and I was actually jealous because I [ __ ] love the war memorial and when I went there

helicop there wasn't yeah when I went there wasn't [ __ ] you could get in okay and [ __ ] you could dress up as the last three times I've been there there have been kids in that helicopter and I've not been able to get in this time I was there and I had fun speaking of getting in flict the switches that's cool that's cool what kind of Chopper was it uh a military one okay never mind what what era would you say you think are we talking like a like a Korean War era whirly bird or we talking like a Black Hawk yes we're talking whirly birdly bird got you cool yeah I uh I rode on Ray's Speeder bike today uh that I saw that as well that was supposed to just for kids and I convinced the guy to let me on it

um I'm come on that kid weighs more than I do just let me that's what I said I said there's there's been fat kids that definitely weigh more than me uh but I think I caused problems because I think everyone behind me in the line was that guy got to ride it oh well yeah yeah so I may have bull not your problem not my problem at all at all was there a long line for it uh yeah I guess it was that's actually something I did wonder yeah I mean there was a line for it for sure um we went quite early uh so Luke wants to know was there a line that he could have pushed in front of with his with his dud leg Yeah fa thing to do they were anybody who was cosplaying as a Star Wars character they pretty much got shoved to the front of the line uh

for photo ops you know so yeah mhm you know maybe next year we should cosplay as a guy in the chewbaca costume beating the [ __ ] out of that guy from threadb there was one other thing I wanted to say I I just remembered during the uh James gun panel right have Q&A at the end M and I was like oh God the number of people who got up and just asked him a spoiler about the next movie like just point blank like is this character going to be in Guardians volume 3 and he was like's gonna tell you he was like huh uh you'll have to wait and see like yeah thanks for wasting everyone's time with that question [ __ ] I couldn't agree with you I hate I hate panels because of that now we've seen some good ones obviously watching uh Shatner was amazing and and

and watching William Shatner is the best panelist ever yeah except for maybe uh Carrie Fisher Carrie Fisher who is also amazing um but I was at a panel today that was just a bunch of um writers and artists from Marvel right so um look and you expect super nerds to be at those because it's just you know it's just people you know where do you get your ideas and [ __ ] like that one guy honest to God said um in 2009 um there was a gap of more than a month uh between episode 37 of whatever the [ __ ] and episode 38 of it uh why why was there why was there such a delay with the next issue and everyone was like H well don't

know nothing to do with us nothing to do with us yeah see that's the one thing I always hate about questions people and the ones I also hate are the ones where people they don't they're trying to show how big a fan they are of someone so they try and ask something really particular that only they will know about and it's sort of like yeah they don't give any context reading like specific question means nothing to anyone else yeah exactly yeah but yeah just the number of people who who like oh is is this exact plot thing gonna happen in three and he was like I'm not telling you CU would he have even have really started to look at volume 3 oh yeah yeah yeah he's written the treat it's not that he knows it and he's just like well no one's asked me I mean as soon as a

nerd at a convention asks me I'll have to tell him right no he just he's just not telling you because it's CU who the [ __ ] are you because it's the movie like you got to watch the movie I think my favorite one is still I mean I've had some funny ones I I was at a a book reading with Neil Gaiman once I've seen him a few times and somebody in the audience was trying to act really smart by going it is said that uh American Gods is a novel without a protagonist blah blah blah blah and Neil just goes yeah how a protagonist Shadow read it again and it was like but I think the best one has got to be uh when we were at PA and we were at the opening keynote and that guy yeah

he was asking for the job no he was asking job he was asking told this 10minute story about a screenplay that he'd been writing since high school yeah yeah it honestly was like a 10-minute long story yeah and then the the only reason he linked it in was because he said if I pass you the script could you give it to Will weaton and ask him to pass it on to Felicia Day and then the answer was no next question yeah that was it yeah I just don't understand how people can do that yeah I'd be mortified [ __ ] taking up people's time like that do you know I thought of a good question for for James G afterwards and then I was like God damn I wish I thought of it at the time because I feel

like that would have been interesting and well now's your chance because he's probably a listener yeah that's true all right uh well now that Michael Rooker is uh spoilers now that yondu is dead is he is going to recast Michael Rooker as a different character in Guardians he's got to he can't do it without Michael Rooker he can't make a movie without him so yeah that's a question I he even brought Michael Rooker into the reality TV series he did scream queens and it was hilarious if you haven't seen scream Queens it's probably still online I watched it on YouTube back in the day um in 10-minute increments but it's it's girls trying to get into the next s movie as the girl who's murdered in the first scene and it's aming and James G is the host and

he takes through different challenges each week different stles of horror movie but one week he's like that sounds awesome it's [ __ ] great they did two seasons of it and it's so good it's so good but uh oh I'm going to see if I can find that I want to watch that with Hannah yeah late 2000s so it's probably about 10 years old now but the uh the episode is got I've got a very special celebrity guest coming in um here he is really built it up and then Michael Rooker walks into the room and the girls they just don't say anything they don't say anything but their expressions say who the [ __ ] is that yeah like a bunch of teenage girls are going to be impressed by Michael Rooker Michael Rooker is great I would be impressed yeah I mean this is before Yu right like

do have a lot of animals living in you so let's talk about uh other things that have been banned in uh in Malaysia steam has been the steam store was banned it's back now it is yeah back now uh but the developers but Malaysia did give them the option first it's not like they just deci they're going to ban steam so so what happened is a developer came out and released a new game it's in Early Access mhm it's basically and I saw a trailer for this a few weeks ago Jes Buddha it looks awesome yeah I don't think it was Jesus or Buddha that they're objecting to just quietly no um yeah Malaysia just went uh absolutely not no way uh no please remove it from the steam store uh or we'll have to just ban steam Y and so that's what it is so and they did they went and they said like

you've got 24 hours to remove it yeah and they just weren't quite fast enough and then they went well we said we were going to do it and they did they banned Steam for the entire country yeah yeah steam was blocked not exactly they they had the isps do it and apparently it was available in some areas and not in others and it was just the store you could still get your games and everything it was just the store itself was blocked through most of the isps in the country but uh I mean it's pretty intense that they can do that yeah they they they do that to a lot of things I mean you can't go on porn hamster here you know why is there a porn site for hamsters is that what it's called porn hamster x hamster I I've I've never heard of it well a we

beings maybe in Malaysia yeah um yeah so they've taken it off the store now now this game uh is obviously made to be provocative um and when I saw the trailer a couple of weeks ago uh well when I heard the name I thought I've definitely got a look at that that sounds like my kind game and when I looked at it I was like oh actually no it doesn't it looks just like a really cheaply made you know fighter looks crappy yeah looks looks [ __ ] but uh you know points of trying and uh yeah if you wanted to piss off uh religious people you have done it my friend didn't even have to bash up the uh he want to piss religious people off he actually came out with a statement saying like he wasn't trying to [ __ ] upset people

he just faced off their gods against one another thinking everyone going to love this argument a lot of wars with well for starters there's quite a lot of gods you're not allowed to depict right oh so he's in there he depict them well I can't see any other reason Malaysia would ban this ah I don't I didn't think he was on there look how we W even saying his name scared even it his name is Voldemort come on I'm going to have to check I want to see if he we're talking talking about Muhammad [ __ ] sake just say his name oh [ __ ] he's here no you got to say it three times that's right no you're thinking of n the B we're going to get banned in Malaysia Luke good work oh God I can't be banned

there's other controversial video the DLC is the D the downloadable Islam I don't think he will do it no I don't think he will either do this game support mods hopefully oh yeah how do we even know what Muhammad would look like though do we know what we don't could be anything maybe we should be talking about this maybe he is in the game maybe and the dev is just [ __ ] giggling to himself cuz he's like see that thing that looks like a [ __ ] pixie that's B that's him uh uh South Park uh have made a game where you uh play the game at a higher difficulty the blacker you are yeah I think that is I think that's a great idea it's amazing

I think it's funny apparently uh Cartman says as you're as you're building your character you got to choose the skin tone and then as you change it as it gets darker kartman says don't worry this doesn't affect combat or anything just every other aspect of your life yeah that's less people are nice to you you've got less opportunities less money you get less money in the game oh god wow so I I don't know if I think maybe it's just a gag I don't know if it actually has an effect on the game but uh it's pretty funny well if it it's going to affect money which will have some bearing on the game cuz remember you do buy armor and weapons and stuff so sure I actually I don't I don't know as I don't normally in those games

no neither do I but you can buy armor and weapons but I just end up finding one using that for most of it until I find another one I like yeah not taking my money I think it' be really good if it you could have like a it'd be funny if you could have like change the color and then like you go black and then go Ultra hard mode you will become female as well oh controversial look I can't wait for this game I love the S of Truth and I'm really really looking forward to this oh great thing not being censored in Australia at all oh yeah I saw that that's awesome I wonder if it hopefully that doesn't I've left Australia now for for a country that's even got even stricter censorship yeah you might have a hard time with them even selling it I had to remove a scene from my Series

where two man two men went to a health SP in case the audiences thought they were gay they were Father and Son whoa oh was was that clear very clear it's a they're the main characters in the show okay well you never know what that that would definitely be wrong then Dan yeah yeah that's right yeah so I think fair enough well yeah yeah but cuz yeah if it wasn't clear then i' you could question that them going to a health bar because that used to be a thing where men go to health spars spars wining it you tell me a a lot about this you and your dad go to the old Health Spar I've never been to a health Spar in my life you think I do anything that has

Health in its name we're not talking about things you do just places you'd go to all right talking about things that got done to you yeah things that might have been bad for your health in the long run if you know what I mean what did you guys think of LA Noir uh I liked it until it got frustrating because he would just yell at people when I didn't want him to you choose an option that just says oh yeah just question him about this and then he's like tell me you were there you were there Y and the other thing was you no matter what you did it made no difference to the game yeah you could still progress even if you completely fail the level

which and I guess was good enoyed it theollywood I hated the fact that the last act swapped characters to someone else like let me finish the game as the character I've been playing the game for like that was odd um so if you told me they were doing a sequel and that they were going to not do all those annoying things in it I'd be psyched but if you tell me that they're just doing a little uh little remastered version probably not that interested Yep they're doing a remaster I reckon you'll buy it again yeah probably will too to be honest yeah I might I might cuz I never finished it so I might but I'm hoping cuz they've been sort of quiet a cuz they remastered later this year I think

it is for the switch PlayStation 4 Xbox One and they're also making a VR one right less with the HTC Vive and I'm still waiting on Xbox to come out and talk about if the Xbox One next is going to have VR or not because I wouldn't mind playing well to be they announced it when it first came out and then they've said nothing since to be clear they're not releasing the whole game for the Vive they're just releasing certain missions as uh playable cases yeah um okay you can't just play the whole game in first person H cuz I just think it'd be really interesting to do like the interviews in VR like to actually be sitting across from them to be shocked at how wrong the respons characters fly off the handle he did really have mental
