eat uh meat on Friday for got eat F that's always been a good have to eat fish you just can't eat meat not like you've got toat you aware that McDonald's only stocks the fillet of fish for Lent what it's available all year round it's on the menu all year that's why they have it but they lose money from well they lose money I don't know they don't make any money on it it's the least ordered item on the menu until lent which it becomes the most ordered item for that I did not know this was such a big deal like how have I not in my life ever been like aware that everybody else was doing this I'm not doing it like did you guys know about lent as children no look I don't know what lent is I'll be honest is it when you've got to well obviously

it's what you got to eat fillet of fish right well they told me I asked at work because they said because we get lunch on Fridays at work we get a work lunch and we've been getting like cuz it's been cold uh we haven't been doing normally they do like a cookout like a barbecue uh so we've been ordering food and so but because of Lent we couldn't get uh well sorry we had to get alternative food for those who weren't eating meat and I was like alternative food well just you know like pizza that doesn't have meat on it basically or uh and we haven't been going to the Chinese places much cuz they don't give a [ __ ] so there's people in your office that legitimately don't eat certain things dur Fridays yeah yeah is it a is it a week long period how long does it go for

it's a month it's 40 days yeah it's 40 days it represents off 40 days of fish now that makes sense yeah no no no only on Friday yeah it's weird every Friday there's a month so it's four days within a certain month that you're not allowed to eat a big M for last month every Friday I to cook salmon for dinner well that's all right I I try to eat salmon once or twice a week anyway I like salmon I'm a big fan I'm I mean I'm not really complaining about that much but it just meant that we couldn't go to uh couldn't go to the Chinese place as much because they don't they just don't give a [ __ ] they put whatever in the food no they wouldn't they would not unless they're Buddhists in which case no beef who don't they have a bee with well nobody really by China

philosophical well no not China as a whole just the Buddhists China are doing okay it's the North Koreans that are trying to launch missiles that blow up as soon as soon as they're shot out yeah I kind of feel sorry for Traer at the moment for China don't feel the slightest bit sorry for them mate we'll all be speaking Chinese in 10 years no no know but because they've got North Korea just making [ __ ] life [ __ ] for them they've got to be on their side but they really got to be sitting go really North you want to do that yeah but the thing is that China just kind of humors its allies anyway seems seems to me if they really wanted to China could just take care of that yeah yeah all those little kind of satellite nations like North Korea

Vietnam it's like that old Looney Tunes cartoon with the big dog and a little dog and the little dog's like you and me as friends aren't we Chester yeah and China's a big dog can I say this this is the first time in a long time we've actually talked about like news news news yeah hey I've got some news today actually in Italy and I mean the country in Europe not the Pirate Bay right uh a woman passed away today who was the last human being born before the 20th century oh really yeah she was 117 years old and she died today she was the last person born in the 19th century what about that guy in in China or wherever who said he was 200 uh I think that was India and is

very very questionable do you have any wisdom to share on her deathbed I should have I should have had a gag ready for this don't put the pineapple on a pizza yeah that was my Italian accent by the way I'm trying to think of something that was only relevant in like the turn of the century you know yep but but where the automatic Carriage don't trust the pitler yeah she probably did see how that panned out though yeah well I mean she would have watched World War I go by and going [ __ ] I'm glad that's over yeah but what'd she get up to during World War II oh so you're saying she well I mean she was Italian that's what I mean yeah you might be related speaking of Wars oh I see where you're going with this you got a jingle to play I do uh and this is

probably what people are expecting to hear first uh this week not [Music] news [Music] quite loud apologize damn right it's loud because it's a [ __ ] great day to be a Star Wars fan it is did you guys watch that uh trailer for uh was it the uh the last judu something like that yeah watched it a couple of times yeah look I'm just happy Luke finally gets to say something guys can I say something something controversial yes please do when is said it why do you you don't usually ask not in not in not in that way there's no racial slurs coming hold hold off on that jingle till later in the

podcast um guys this is not a very good trailer now don't get me wrong don't get me wrong it's going to be a good movie I'm sure of it but this this is a pretty pretty shitty trailer I mean imag a teaser trailer uh yeah I mean it's better than the teaser we got for the force awakens the teaser suck looking at this all they've filmed is that training stuff on that island I thought they finished they finished shooting this all evidence points to the contrary map theya they probably haven't done the special effects for all of it yeah and I thought that the the training sequence they filled in the same time as the force awakens I think yeah I think you might be right but look I mean I started thinking about this right

if the force awakens was kind of a soft reboot of A New Hope right you know I it's kind of the same story the fact that now an old Jedi trains the young Jedi and the next one is kind of setting it this up for a soft reboot of The Empire Strikes Back yeah his attitude seems to be a bit different in this but oh Ian this is spoilers it's not spoilers You' probably watched the trailer so if you haven't watched the trailer no you can though no you can though and I'd like to talk about that at some point today we don't have to do it right now but just the fact that trailers depending what's that now would be the time no no no it's not about this trailer in particular okay fine but there this [ __ ] Trend lately especially with Marvel movies and I was

worried they would do this as well with uh with Star Wars where they just tell you the whole movie like the whole movie like Jen won't watch trailers anymore likeus stopped watching trailers except for things like Star Wars I haven't even watched the trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy oh I I've watched that just don't watch the Spider-Man trailer like have we talked about this it's just the whole movie unless they've been very crafty like I've seen the movie now except I just don't I can't tell you the dialogue but I can tell you exactly what happens the whole thing I was the same I was thinking that better all happen in the first 10 minutes no and then something [ __ ] crazy needs to happen after that like I don't want to say cuz it's it probably is a spoiler but like I can

tell you the plot of Spider-Man homecoming right now I think I can tell you the plot without even seeing the trailer go on it's a Spider-Man movie yeah go on all right he's in high school he's in love with a girl um he's probably got a goofy friend uh there's going to be Birdman is it Birdman yep Birdman as his character from Birdman yeah yep he's going to in a they going to fight um and Peter Parker wins safe stay be over okay yeah no that's fair uh the trailer goes into more DET Spider-Man movie what do you expect no no no but the all right spoilers potential spoilers for the Spider-Man movie even though I haven't seen it

right you want me to do this and then listeners I'm sorry if this ruins the Spider-Man movie for you skip ahead oh actually no cuz now cuz Jenna's going to have to edit this she's going to I'm going to ruin the Spider-Man movie for do it what a under Matt the listeners are your wife all right so Jenner if you're editing this just fast forward two minutes and then just start editing again from there nobody say anything offensive Spider-Man he's going around in a shitty costume uh oh no because he's already been given a good costume by Tony Stark right Tony Stark gave him a good costume in Civil War he's going around in his good costume he's uh he's saving people he gets into a fight with the vulture who tells him you know the

people that's it the vulture yeah people don't care about him and they they're scared of him and then they get into a big fight and Spider-Man gets cocky and causes a big disaster and then Tony Stark comes along and says look if you're not going to be more careful I'm taking the suit back and he takes his suit away and then he wears his [ __ ] costume again and then the vulture and him have to fight and then Spider-Man learns humility and that he doesn't need to be like a big Superstar and then Tony star comes back at the end and says you can have a suit back buddy but the big [Laughter] [Laughter]

do this every month every every year now I think at Celebration we get the trailer for the films coming out in at Christmas they've been doing it for the last two it's probably going to continue cuz I need something to show at Celebration I just wanted to be really excited and I wasn't they also showed that that nice car Fisher tribute which is actually that's a really good video If you haven't could watch watch watch I couldn't watch it I turn it off after about 20 seconds I I was just I can't do it was just too sad it's a really really good video it's really nice it's I still can't let go no it's got some nice clips of like her all the clips of her you know like just casually like behind the scenes and stuff on set are all like

great and uh and yeah there's like a little clip of they're upset cuz they talk about how she still remembers all the lines from from the original films and it's got edited together segment of her with doing the the speech from the message from a new hope I know all her lines as well special but it's like it's just clips of her in interviews Through The Years just uh just going through that whole speech like and she yeah and then finally with her from I guess either behind the scenes on the force awakens or Last Jedi or something doing it as a good video she was tops and I'm glad we got to see her at Supernova need to ask cuz last we heard she was actually still going to be in nine but now I'm reading this saying she won't no she's uh she's she's refused she's

refused she's uh she's not returning any of their calls [Laughter] no no despite her brother coming out and saying yeah yeah yeah you'll definitely see her they've uh they've gotten they've got for each other uh actually Disney and Lucas have come out and gone nope nope nope she died before we'd gotten anywhere close to what we would have needed so she's an eight she's not was he just hoping for a Payday no I think he was just being optimistic I think he was just ill informed it cly didn't seem talking out his ass and then of course because at Star Wars you can't spread a rumor anything that's is a yeah it it it is then widely distributed as a possible fact yeah but guys in unrelated Star

Wars news I uh I picked up Rogue one over the weekend oh how what format may I ask um I wanted to get it on Blu-ray Blu-rays aren't a thing here yeah I uh I ended up getting it on iTunes uh MH uh okay so I just I I did I picked iTunes right okay right some people like pineapple in their Pizza some people don't all right sure I got on iTunes okay it might be my favorite really yeah it's so good it who's unzipping their fly what that was me okay no I was playing with a zipper

sorry sorry go on Dan that's all right I I expect at least some of our listeners jerk off while I talk about Star Wars yeah it just like it might be my favorite zip I was like wait what was that a again no honest to God guys Rogue one finds a truth in the characters in plot that none of the other films have including the originals which I still love I just this movie is so [ __ ] good like I watched it yesterday and already want to watch it again today you know you you guys are wasting my time did you see that interview with uh Trump on I think it was on Air Force One where they interviewed him in the background brog one was on the television like they've all just been they all just been watching Star Wars and then they've

interviewed him that's great yeah it's pretty fun I wonder if they had to pay royalties to uh to Disney for that I think the news pays royalties to anyone do they I don't know but there's yeah Darth Vader in the background fitting I might go watch it after this man do it all right cuz i' I purchased it I've got the on the Xbox but I just haven't watched it again yet you just collect them like like I collect video games yeah uh there's also uh Battlefront 2 the trailer we already saw uh I think we talked about it yet though on the podcast I think we just messaged about it but the about you guys talked about it when I wasn't here just talking about rumors right but um now right there is going to be a single player campaign it is through the

entire Saga yep Darth Maul shows up but does that include Rogue one I'd love to play some of the Rogue one missions even the first Battlefront had Rogue one DLC was just maps and stuff you see I really wanted to play it but I was like I don't know if anyone else yeah exactly play it by myself oh wait I can't play it by myself so that's why I'm looking forward to actually having a single player Mission cuz yeah Battlefront the even the original Battlefront games I had a single player it wasn't a good single player but you can still play it by yourself but it existed yes this one just looks awesome except I don't like Darth Maul stuff just because you don't like him I just don't like Darth Maul that CU he killed Liam n no it's because it's just a very

boring character Darth yeah Darth Mo was one of the characters with the biggest potential that was underutilized yeah he just he did nothing prequel wise did you see this did you see this video of um Hayden Christenson at Star Wars celebration I did it's I am so surprised he went to this thing so am I well he has not been to one in a long time 15 years yeah that they said in this interview and then I mean he's there and he seems to be making a go but he doesn't seem to want to be there no he's like and he doesn't have a lot to say about it either no no how's how's your relationship with Star Wars yeah it's it's uh it exists I swear I heard some mov in that audience though they would have had to it wasn't wasn't

all cheers but guys come on it was not Hayden christensen's fault no everyone knows it was Rick mccallum's fault he was a good sport she asked him how he felt about sand and he he had a go at you know being lighthearted but it just you can see the pain in his eyes yeah what's he doing these days I actually looked that up and he's been he's done a few films uh I think the last big one that he did was that uh jumper which was only big because he was in it and it was around that time uh and I don't think he's done anything huge uh so he also said he's not expect to see more conventions signing autographs soon then no no he doesn't do them that's what he said in this he's like he doesn't do him he like he just doesn't care he's not interested yeah he doesn't even have

social media cuz he doesn't want people asking him [ __ ] about Stu yeah yeah or I mean maybe he just doesn't like it like I don't like social media I wouldn't the only reason I'm on them is for the podcast yeah otherwise I wouldn't bother but he he doesn't have him so he said this was he said that for the fans I bet they just said hey we'll give you a bunch of money if you come along to this thing and he went all right means I don't have to do it again for 15 years you think he occasionally do the whole signing tour cuz that's just free money yeah well that was one of the themes of the uh that documentary about um I forget the the name of that one the one about the all the extras from Star Wars who go and do the conventions and then one of them not didn't outright say [ __ ]

it's just free money but like they did imply that he was like why would anyone do that and he went along and people would just handed him cash and he was like this is [ __ ] all right yeah it's just some some guy who was in the background during the the briefing for the first Death Star attack in you know he's a rebel pilot and now he's like [ __ ] people just handing me money all right sounds good I would say no yeah do you think they're ever going to address the mystery surrounding Anakin's father for a story that's stopped being about what it started being and being about the Skywalker Legacy it just seems like that would be an important part of the story do you know what it was actually planned for in the prequel well actually not in a prequel but for one of the

prequels so not the Phantom Manis but was that team was actually going to say that he was sort of anak's Father sort of through the force sort of through the force he managed to get shimi pregnant with medoran he forced her he forced Shi yes hang on yes all right and and now I know that there was probably not an answer to this but why shme yeah why her why some woman why some slave woman on twiin George Lucas wrote the script yeah okay do when you say he used the for to put medoran inside her does that mean he like jacked off and then Force lifted the sperm and like no no it's not sperm M choran aren't sperm that's how you make a baby though I think they are Luke I think they are isn't that what I don't understand but it's a blood disease yeah but that but

good I mean don't get me started you guys know I'm a I'm a episode 4 purist right and I don't believe anything that was that directly um contradicts anything explained in episode 4 so I don't believe that dartha is Luke sk's father and the whole reason that Luke SK is involved is because random [ __ ] droids shot out of a random [ __ ] ship and landed on a random [ __ ] planet and his dad two random [ __ ] droids right and that was awesome like the fact that he got involved at all was awesome they should have a seen in like another you know one in between with Darth Vader and then some dude shows up and and he's like I'm uh I'm your dad and then B's like but Palpatine told me the force was my dad and the guy's like wait what that's

[ __ ] stupid yeah on what are you an idiot yeah he told you that when you were a K and you just believed it your whole life yeah no I'm your dad and I'm Australian and it's like and then they go out and get lunch and it's really awkward yeah sounds like a dad yep so um how school I run the Galaxy oh how's how's that going you must get that from your mom cuz I I didn't really so um I uh I hate to bring it up but I I need some money son I mean I I wasn't there to look after you but I would have you know F A know your mom never told me she was pregnant y uh we have some followup yeah

inside of himself no his whole plan he had this thing because the uh the adult magazines were right next to the computer magazines right at the back so he'd go all the way up there he just checking out the computer magazines again and then uh he'd grab one and then he'd kind of lean down like he was doing something down there like tiny shoelace or something and then and and just slide it down just slide it in well I've done something a little bit like that oh go on go on um remember when I had to wear my leg brace oh yes yep The Mao set yep so yep well when I used to go to Music Festival you drugs in your leg not drugs alcohol okay oh like a flask so you can quite easily fit hip flasks down yeah right so I had like a

it had a picture on the front of a naked woman and a German Shepherd okay and I I can see why I caught your attention I have never read a book and this is like novel l L 150 Pages I've never read a book that quickly I I read that overnight that night and then I took it in the next day and I gave it to someone and I think every single person in our grade ended up taking that home for a night I know I read that in one night as well it was you couldn't put it down it was a real page Turner and [ __ ] me was it filthy there was her dog her mom school teacher what yeah yeah really at one point I mean guys there's stuff so [ __ ] dirty in this book I don't even

that's all I'm going to say it's such a defining moment of my adolescence though like I learned so much from that book I don't know that you did well there was no going back do you know what they say that there's like there's a moment like a before when when you were a child and then suddenly you're a man like I was not a child anymore after I knew the things that were in that book did you ever play um Cobra Mission it's like an old um game it's kind of like a Final Fantasy game mostly uh except you're like a private detective on some island or something and except it's like in between the missions you rescue these girls and then in between it you get to have graphic sex with them what's it called my friend Cobra Mission okay

already discontinued The Nest Classic this makes no sense no it does if you if you listen to this theory that I read the other day so so they made this Nest classic right sold out immediately and now they're just not making any more of them somebody said they did a tear down of it recently The Nest classic and it's got a bunch of um recently like in the last few years obsolete components in it and they think what they've done is genius they may they made it specifically to be made of old um just obsolete stuff bought it up really cheap made it sold out of it and just there you go they made a [ __ ] ton of money wow that was like nintend that was Nintendo like we need to fill we need to refill the bank account what we got like so yeah

apparently the stuff that's in it is like so the N classic is like the big business version of a yard sale yeah they um they could they could seriously make it more more expensive stuff and sell it for more and people would still buy it it probably would cost a lot more though to start manufacturing this from scratch at the price point that it is yeah well maybe they it was an experiment too I guess because maybe they didn't know how popular it was going to be so but it's I mean and it's late I everyone who brought one is stupid for getting one yeah you could just play it on a Raspberry piie or something for 30 bucks yeah but the average know that yeah I suppose so but no I think if you got this it would be fun for about half

an hour and then you go you wouldn't go back to it remember you certainly wouldn't do what we used to do and that was play a really hard game from the start every time until you finished it until you got until you memorized every little bit of that game to the point where you could start from the beginning and play it to the end like you would never do that now no never um like it the first level of Super Mario Brothers I could probably do with my eyes closed yeah I I worked out recently that I can still I have the muscle memory to complete Rick dangerous right wow R dangerous yeah man I still know not not Indiana Jones no

yeah that's right I still knew and my brain didn't know this but my fingers knew my thumbs knew to hold to the right when you fall down certain certain chasms because there are yeah spikes down at the left like I didn't know that I knew that but I know that yep well in other Nintendo news the switch is the fastest selling Nintendo console ever yeah wow so I guess it's doing right Luke have you touched yours since we last talked I unplugged it so it stopped charging so you have touched it you've turned off the life support yes all right so it won't keep popping up to say hey I'm attached to HDMI I don't care yeah so like not only if you put him in the other room you've shut the door now basically I'm just waiting for a time where I'm going to fly somewhere and

it's coming out all right but guys this is justly very often I just the switch no I want to play Skyrim on it sort of but then do I I guess you know I've played on my Xbox still don't even know when that's coming out Skyrim on a plane would be great uh but this thing's going to run out of batteries before you can get too far into it anyway yeah and plus I've got a bunch of good games on my my laptop that I can play on a plane yeah exactly right and that's going to last roughly the same amount of time yeah maybe even a bit longer on my new Macbook Pro oh yeah Mass Effect Andromeda I loaded it up uh last night to have a quick go and I was like I don't care I don't know if I'm I I hav I think

maybe I haven't played it in a week I think maybe and then yesterday I played a bit of like it that much I got caught up in it at first and I was enjoying it but then last night I loaded up and I looked at the looked at all the stuff I had to do and I looked at the map and I was like I could just do something else man I did the same thing and then I ended up just going back into Skyrim yeah just cuz I wanted to play something but and look I think I like it but I I just I need more time to devote to it hasn't hooked me yet yeah I think if I if I started playing I'd probably get hooked back into it again but it was just really hard to find an in cuz there was so much and and like from from my objective position not being currently

addicted to the game I was like these are all just pointless fetch quests yeah and I actually think maybe if I were to actually give it a good go I'd need to start again maybe now what you can do is you can actually just focus on the main Miss fetch Quest and stuff you can actually complete after I think I'm going to do that I think I'm just going to ignore all the things and I know we've talked about this uh ad nauseum that it but and I'm probably not going to be able to do that but I think that is what I how I need to handle it cuz yeah it's just I was I was back on EOS and it's opened up more of the map and it was like all right drive here and put a thing on a rock and then drive over there put a thing on a rock and I was like why am I why would I do this

yeah Mass Effect it is not no no it's it's a game that you can't stop playing and then come back to well yeah that's right I did I stopped playing it and then just didn't come back to it I was considering um going back to Fallout 4 actually oh man you should cuz I fin that you should um yeah maybe you should finish that as well yeah maybe yeah you got what did I playing oh I played up I played some pillars of Eternity on my laptop instead that's a good game no achievements can't play it don't care it's on uh I've got it on good old games even not even on Steam so no achievements at all don't care it's a good game I uh started playing a bit of the dig the other night you remember that oh wow wow yeah that I've got that on good old games as well that's same and I I was just thinking

you know what it was the day that I was I realized I was bored with mass effect but I still wanted a Sci-Fi kick and in my head the Dig is still the absolute Pinnacle of Science Fiction adventure games yeah I replayed it a little while ago it's got some stupid puzzles in it but overall it is it's amazing did you did you guys know it's written by auson Scott Card I didn't neither did I Spielberg had something to do with that right Spielberg it was Spielberg's original idea um he was going to do it as a film originally uh and then was going to be too expensive so okay Lucas ran with it as a game got card wrote the story I remember my friend had it when I was a kid and I went around to his house and he was like I'll check out this new

game and just you know the intro where it travel up to the the asteroid thing and then it like Zips them away to another planet oh another univer or Galaxy sorry not universe galaxy and then they're on another planet and I was like give me this game that's right h I I just went to Gog to go have a look at it and I've just noticed that um did you ever play Full Throttle yes oh yeah Full Throttle is great the remastered version of that's coming out soon mastered yeah but with I checked did the voice of the main character oh is that right I didn't know that at the time Full Throttle was great one too many cut scenes sure uh a a lot of a lot of you know it was clicking on something and then watch a video basically but the

story was great the setting was great yep um I believe though Luke the remastered version doesn't look like modern it still looks no no no no retro just cleans up the graphics from back there yeah like the day the tentacle exactly remaster came out now that's still a great game another game that came out recently uh is Thimble weed Park which I've yet to play is that out I chipped into that I kickstarted that yes see did you get a key [ __ ] your emails buddy yeah God no I'll to be fair I uh it goes to my really really old sign up for [ __ ] email account so uh maybe you didn't did you log on to backa kit and all that stuff for it [ __ ] me you've got to you got to go on and give them all your details and stuff but I got my steam key for that the other

week uh so I got to play it which is actually quite timely because Twin Peaks is coming out the new Twin Peaks coming out next month and we just finished watching through uh the series and we're halfway through the film we have to take a break CU [ __ ] that film is is tough yeah to get through and uh but yeah thimble weed Park is uh an adventure game an old style Adventure game like Monkey Island where you click on the you know the what you want to do and you click on what you want to do it to uh kind of thing hopefully that makes sense a point and click adventure game and it's about a like a murder in a small town so it's it's kind of a little it's got some Twin Peaks influences and some Monkey Island and day the tentacle

influences and stuff like that [ __ ] yeah should be good it's by Ron Gilbert It Is by Ron Gilbert I will be getting it on the Xbox one oh yeah that's right yeah it is a on Xbox one as well yeah I need those achievements yeah 400,000 by June that that's your goal I can do it that's my goal I've got to get 9,000 more that's easy I could get that this week if I really wanted to is there anything good out in the Xbox not you don't play good games to get a lot of gamer score quickly right you play really crap games to get games score really quickly like there's point and click games out there and whoa whoa yeah WR point and click games yeah Oh you mean hidden object games hidden object

games yeah there a there a trash but they're in a couple hour to give you a th000 gamer score can you uh this okay we're getting refunds on the Xbox yes um that's some news this week can you get one of those games blast through it get the achievements and then get a refund see or will it revoke your achievements it'll you still have the achievements you could save a lot of money Luke uh I wouldn't do it though yeah I know you wouldn't I don't like the idea of I I like the idea of the cheap the refund be being there like if someone goes out and buys a game and it's just not what they thought it's not really what they like I like the idea of getting a refund but then I don't think

it's fair for games that do take an hour or two hours to finish that people can go play it finish it and then get a refund so I think they're going to have to look at that cuz at the moment if you buy I don't think it's all games but you buy a game if you within 14 days if you played less than 2 hours you get a refund oh okay cuz when that with steam when firewatch came out firewatch only takes like 3 hours to play so people were just playing it and then getting a refund yeah and it's just [ __ ] no that's not what it's there for no like it's if you buy Mass Effect and you get for past the first hour or two hours and go no I really not getting into this that's what the refunds for yeah I just want to take it back to thimbleweed park for a sec sure yep I just remembered the

uh the rewards tier that I kicked in on right the certificate the I pired Maniac mansion in Monkey Island when I was a kid and I feel bad and this reward te instantly absolves you of the guilt yep I have a I got a certificate from them [ __ ] me why isn't that I must have gone to my junk what the [ __ ] is going we looking at it right now backer guilt ABS certificate of guilt Absolution Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick hereby absolved the thimbleweed park backer named Matthew ham of any guilt to piring Maniac mansion and or the secret of monky when they were younger signed by Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick that's magnificent where the [ __ ] is mine cuz I definitely pirated those games yeah yeah well that's what everyone did with games back

then yeah remember in the um secret of Monkey Island there was a bit where if you you there was like a maze kind of in the in the forest M and there was a bit where when if you had it on the floppy discs you know it came on like five or six floppy discs yeah and there's a bit where there was a a tree stump in the forest and you click on the tree stump and it said it goes oh it's just a tree stump wait a minute there a there's a there's a hole in it and then you you go investigate a hole and then it's like there's a it looks like there's a some kind of cave in there and I can see something shining like maybe gold and or it's some kind of cave system and then he goes to climb in and then it says insert dis 43 and you're like what and then so you

go what wait what and then you click and it goes insert dis like 67 and then it does that a couple times and then it comes up and goes oh well I guess you'll have to skip that bit that's great very clever I need to play them again as well yeah they're on they're all on good old games I got uh the the actual the Indiana Jones in the Last Crusade Adventure game is on great good old games now I picked that up recently I have that and the fate of Atlant fate of Atlantis man see that's how can't they make a [ __ ] movie of that I no that was a great game yeah it really was like it just it actually felt like Indiana Jones yeah and you could choose different paths like different methods through the game like you uh at at I think at three different points you

could choose uh like fight or you could choose to solve more puzzles or you could choose to team up with the the redheaded girl and like solve puzzles together MH and then you could do that three different points and so you could replay the game like uh math number of times that would be terrible for a movie no do it no I've been thinking you know a movie that they should actually reboot and remake what Logan's Run they were weren't they yeah they keep trying to do it because the book that logo look Logan run is one of my favorite classic Sci-fi films from the 70s but the book is infinitely better I still enjoy the movie but also it's terrible yeah it's it's really

campy but I love it like I really really like it yeah yeah it's a classic it's one of those Classics yeah but yeah I wouldn't be upset if they went hey we're REM making it's coming out next to you I wouldn't be upset with it I think as one as moved I think the story deserves to be retold to make people watch it again you hear that Hollywood Luke would not be upset with that means it's going to happen yeah they were just waiting for that kind of Nod of appreciation from you yeah he would also not be upset if it's St Dwayne The Rock Johnson uh I'd be okay you know what' you know what there is a character he could play because there's an old man that they encounter when they get to the outside that could be the rock CU in the

in the movie right when you got to be 30 you were killed right there this that youth obsessed culture right but in the book it was 21 so it's these dumb kids basically the Society of just dumb kids and when they get onto the outside in the film it was Peter Hof it was an old man but in the book it's just a 40-year old dude and he's ripped and he [ __ ] hunts animals with his [ __ ] bare hands and a knife like the rock could play him and he was a testament to no no no no you don't CU they always thought if you grow old you know you're useless and everything when they meet this guy and he's like no no no you can grow old

and still be [ __ ] badass yeah so actually Luke not like us the rock let's do this man I can't I couldn't start a fire in the wild you know just go up and die in the woods yeah yeah imagine Luke get lost in the woods I think Luke would somehow Luke would befriend a squirrel or something and somehow survive he'd have these animals looking after him yes some someone needs to look after me yeah Raised by Wolves well well as a as a 35y old man hey I turned 36 soon yeah I turned one week I turned old this week oh yeah this there's there's a one we period Matt where you're two years older than Luke yeah yep hey uh listeners if you

is this what what is this what is this it's like it's like [ __ ] is it a Sci-Fi movie is it a [ __ ] 80s [ __ ] comedy is it and then the more I tried to criticize it the more I realized this could be the best movie ever made right yeah it looks it looks pretty awesome right on down to the fact that they've changed the Thor logo to look like a VHS title yeah I wonder people said uh oh it's Hulk I know him from work people said trying to cash in on the the Guardians of the Galaxy kind of they are Nostalgia but like yeah so what yeah and it's it's made by the guy who made [ __ ] what we do in the shadows so I'm I got to say I was skeptical not not

of his ability to make a film but just of like the tone and everything cuz this is an action movie you know like at the end of it all kind of thing or at least you know Thor movies Marvel movies in general they're kind of action you know summer Blockbusters and I hadn't seen anything like that from from him before which is you know that every director I guess same thing but yeah I was just curious to see how he did and from the trailer it looks [ __ ] awesome like it looks like it's got everything including a new haircut for Thor yeah yeah I must say a welcomed one yeah I'm sure the ladies are going to enjoy this for uh for for various reasons I think quite a few men are going to enjoy this okay Luke thanks for the Insight you like you like Chris Hemsworth are you ly no he's no
