share my toys either yeah that's true Luke you can't just say to us oh no I can't tell you that secret thing about me come on Y no no I I can't this it's a surprise all right well that's better me eventually we'll find out eventually will now Hannah has been trying to what what's the thing that everyone knows about me um God I don't uh what's what's sort of my thing onesies video games go go you made a movie about it oh yeah the uh I have a tumor yeah you don't have another tumor do you no no no Hannah's trying to go down that path now as well she wants one she's trying to get a tumor yeah she she went and had some tests done and she goes it might be cancer it might be a tumor it's not a

tumor during the whole SWAT neeger thing mhm mhm freaking tumor wasn't it wait Hannah has a tumor it's benign it's not going to cause anything but I'm just pissed off that she has a tumor she's raining on your parade exactly this is this is a really this is a really unique way of telling your closest friends that your wife has cancer but she doesn't like comically on a podcast I mean this is yeah well where is it here A T it's fine where is it um tell me where it is inside her somewhere inside her okay right yeah I won't ask any follow-up questions to that then yeah don't worry it's not going to hurt her it's not going to kill her it'll go away on its own or it'll live there forever I don't know it's not going to kill her okay okay was that is that the secret news

that's not the secret news no that's not the secret news no that's the that's the fckr news I know the secret news is about my tattoo oh oh all right but I haven't got it yet so I can't talk about it I don't want anyone to steal it so something's wait so let me guess something has changed in the universe in which the character exists that you are now going to get tattooed on you and it changes the T no okay fair enough no no nothing like that it's just a it's a really awesome tattoo I've been searching no one has anything like it and so I'm yeah really looking forward to it are you booked in no the guy who I used to get my tattoos done like he did my rootch and Fallout one that tattoo studio got firebombed a while ago and they haven't reopened yet oh yeah bikes

probably it's terrifying that that happens like I know like what's the problem it's just the bad thing is like a lot of the artists working in there have nothing to do with it of course they're just in there just doing their job they like art they're make doing art but yeah but bikes I think it's a good way to funnel cash La cash isn't it yeah if you don't live in Sydney you might not understand this you might be like what the [ __ ] is wrong with the tattoo industry there uh in Australia the tattoo P are owned by the bikes which is our version of the mob say yeah and uh there was one around the corner uh from me in Petersham on Paramount Road actually that got firebombed a little while ago it happens fire bombing is just a thing that

happens occasionally if you piss off somebody in the mob yeah yeah it's a it's a shame cuz I quite like the like my Robotech one he did a fantastic job on yeah great line work on that so I was going to get him to this one but yeah I don't know where he is and I'm having a hard time finding there aren't many tattoos in camera H well there are but ones that'll do color good right cuz I need color they keep five boming them yeah the cops are like we can't do anything about it it's a thing can't P them on it firebombing tattoo parlor is their thing what they do all right well uh the tattoo parlor that Luke used to go to is uh our geek of the week no it's not we do have a geek of the week sadly we do have another hero dead of AES mhm

who I actually this week discovered that the the actually is an alternate pronunciation of his name that that I don't use I call him to Hooper is that not correct is it Toby I've always said to it's t o b e and that's my understanding which of language is but do people say Toby is that yeah is that Toby I've heard someone say Toby this week on a video I'm just going to call him Mr Hooper Mr Hooper yeah Hanging with Mr Hooper although not anymore he's dead so if you don't know to the toester Hooper uh he is most famous hoopin hopus um most famous for a little indie film he made uh called The Texas Chainsaw Massacre uh probably have heard

of yeah you may not have seen it but you've definitely heard of it uh seen it but I can't remember it it's a good movie uh I really like it it's you know it's not without its flaws but I I really appreciate it as a movie and another movie that he's famous for uh more famous for not directing it than for directing it I was going to mention this is the the classic 1982 uh horror film Poltergeist which is also one of my favorite old movies uh although Matt do you want to you want to take us through why why that's kind of Infamous well I I became aware of this fairly recently actually a couple months ago I read an article about it the film Poltergeist was going to be directed it was written by and produced by and was going to be directed by Steven Spielberg

except he apparently had some deal where he wasn't going to direct another film before ET I think is that that the right film yeah it was ET but I think the deal was that they didn't want him associated with another horror film right when he had a family film coming out right okay and and so well [ __ ] that makes sense and so he got he hired I believe to Hooper to direct it but the the rumor is now because if you cuz Poltergeist feels very much like a Steven Spielberg film and if you look at there some behind the scenes footage that they've put out on on DVDs recently and stuff like that and there was way more footage of Steven Spielberg doing things like directing the film than there is footage of Tobe Hooper directing the film and so people are

like well he he just he just put his name on it so that he wouldn't get in trouble but it the rumor is that he Steven Spiel directed and they both deny it to yeah and to Hooper came out recently and said that a lot of people Mis not very recently though no not not in the last couple of days came out and said that uh basically neither is true he he they have a really unique working relationship whereas Steven as the writer and producer of the film obviously had a lot of input and had a a very very strict uh idea of how he wanted his vision to come to life and to was there to uh to bring that Vision to life not so much to put his own creative stamp on it it's not that he didn't direct it it's just that he directed the film that Spielberg wanted him to

whether that's true or whether Spielberg just said go stand in the corner like my dad used to do if I had a project to do if the cops show up tell them it's your movie is that my dad or is that Steven Spielberg both that's why that's I remember anyway yeah uh but well it's a great movie the Remake is garbage so skip that yeah I did skip it actually so yeah good job yeah but yeah to you know if if you're into uh if you're into incessant screaming uh the last half hour of Texas Chainsaw Massacre I could recommend thought you were going to comment on the way you died no I think I believe he went fa peacefully yeah peacefully in his sleep evades yeah what did uh cancer yeah okay for those who don't know

obviously that's a hilarious joke we always make you know I was trying to figure out where that came pun line of that is well where it came from and I realized you know what it is it's when Neil Armstrong died oh you said then that he had died of AIDS and Dave got so angry he got so angry that it was hilarious yeah so all of Dave's Heroes starting dying of AIDS uh and now just now just everyone just a joke so for new listeners that's where that com from so if you're a first time listener um yes we do think dying ofs is funny if you don't tune out because this podcast is not for you yeah it might not be might not be your cup of tea speaking of Heroes who died of AIDS uh sadly Terry pratchet is a a former geek of the week yeah from a while ago though why is he

in the news well he one of his dying wishes was that uh his Unwritten books which he had stored on his computer including anything that he was working on at the time yeah so he he he he basically said take the hard drive out of my computer and run it over with a steamroller please yeah it was for his books that's why we wanted to smash Drive yeah unfinished books Terry all right that's a good that's a good one you know I need to write a book so I can there is so much bonobo porn that's now been destroyed yeah this uh this has happened now yeah they have taken the uh the hard drive from his computer and destroyed it the question I have is he didn't have any backups of this stuff like he wasn't using Dropbox or he wasn't backing that stuff up like this is

he he wouldn't have remembered to do it oh brutal how can this be publicity for uh books that are never going to come out because they probably will one day as they always do get one of his children to finish the book oh we just have we found this copy we found this copy that was at the Publishers this whole time exactly ready to go all spelling mistakes checked well he he sort of wasn't even really writing the last few books he was too busy begging people to kill him and put him out of his misery it might be that he uh he he maybe was worried that they weren't very good because of his mental health so maybe that's why CU I know that he he did have concerns about that I believe CU he started riding with other people towards the end like uh although he

always did that I mean some of his greatest books are uh collaborations I'm thinking mostly good OMS with Neil gimon it's a magnificent book but yeah if you notice actually on his last few books cuz he's with his um the Discord novels they were always jumping around but towards the end it was very much a series of books I think that was to maybe try and help him remember right a brutal possibly I don't know he had Alzheimer's if you haven't gleaned oh yeah yeah he had Alzheimer's and uh the uh rumor is that he cuz he had already said always said that he wanted to and had organized to do so was that he would uh he would visit one of those clinics in Sweden where they can uh knock you off mhm mhm yeah cuz he didn't want to it's a interesting

documentary uh that he did um waiting to die where he was looking into it all and trying to basically get people talking about it and saying it's not a bad thing yeah yeah well I just want to be a burden on everyone for as long as possible don't worry Luke you are yeah as long as I can hold a still play games I want to be around if I can't play games anymore I'm out I just realized we didn't play this jingle yet so um but we can do it for both of them you can can we have a two time geek of the week it's never happened before obviously because you can only die once but uh only one person can have AIDS at a time and unfortunately this means somebody else can get it now I think [ __ ] was that Luke you're going to argue

against it no no no no no though for pret he's definitely got it I'm not going to argue against it to be I don't know maybe yeah we'll give it to him 2 that's a new one that's great I mean makes sense you don't think to be Hooper deserves to be geek of the week after his struggle with AIDS and being told he didn't direct a movie that he did direct yeah but what's he done recently nothing nothing he's done nothing recently he died yeah like he did Texas Chainsaw and that was sort of about it no then Poltergeist don't come down on that side he did a bunch of made for TV stuff in the way he did Salem a lot which I liked

he did masters of horror quite a few things he he crops up every now and then he did a he did some Tales from the Crypt I will say I will say his filmography is a bit of a mixed bag it's a nice way of putting it I like him he makes some good stuff but he also he made he made some [ __ ] yeah but like you know I think he feel operate in the horror genre that's just a given really who didn't well I mean Stanley kurick didn't but yeah no stany curi made some [ __ ] go on eyes wide shut no eyes wide shot is amazing it's not it's a terrible movie no it is no one most people who watch it don't understand what the hell is going on I watch it six more times you need to I think it wasn't

until like my I think I was watching it going what what what the first few times I watched it and then on around the seventh time I watched it I was like oh I get it and now it's amazing so it's one of those ones you just need to watch six more times makes sense makes sense yeah I just might watch Star Wars again that'll be easier yeah well Star Wars is also a great move you know I was thinking about Star Wars uh yesterday uh cuz there's a bunching new toys out yeah yeah well this isn't I'm not even thinking that that literally right so right Apollo 13 was on yep Ron Howard film and I was enjoying watching that and enjoying the fact that he's much like to also has a spieles quality to his film making right and I was thinking that he can't lose here with this Han Solo

spin-off movie he is in such a good position because yeah if he does a good job of this if it's [ __ ] he just blames it on them yeah if it's [ __ ] all he was doing was making something that was really [ __ ] less [ __ ] and it was really those two other guys that had [ __ ] this beyond all repair and if it does if this is good then through no fault of his own it's like this guy's not made a good Star Wars movies but he's turned around a bad Star Wars movie into a good one there's that but then there's also this like if it if it was me I would be like I didn't really do the whole thing yeah I'd put up my hand for a new one as well yeah yeah like episode 10 that's mine have you heard that there are people out there asking for a Princess Leia movie of course there are and I'm

just no cuz like uh what's his name Ryan Johnson right he's doing he did Last Jedi like he wrote and he directed it and everything like if if it's good all right but then again if it's if it's [ __ ] he's he's going to be in big big trouble with Luke well I think that's why they've they haven't touted him as the Director of episode 10 have they no someone else is yeah they don't each one of them have someone else yeah hedging their bet yeah is Irvin kers still alive CU he would make no he died a long time ago God damn he was geek of the week I think oh I'm pretty sure he was a geek leag at one point he lives on in our hearts he does and in my Star Wars DVD collection I kind of wondered what you were going to say and my basement dreams since we're talking

about movies I watched uh the Death Note movie oh this we what's Death Note who's Death Note you mean the newest Death Note movie yeah I've seen the Japanese ones before yeah the older Japanese adaptation great yeah so for those who don't know Death Note is a uh it's a manga a Japanese comic series that got adapted into an anime series MH which is you know like a cartoon very popular you'll always see people cosplaying uh and then that got adapted into two films in Japan which have quite good excellent and then yeah and now it's been adapted into uh an American film by Netflix now I don't know much about this I knew they were doing it I don't even know the cast but you've seen it yeah this the ryuk the demon is Willam defo so instant what

what w we're doomed we're doomed yeah so that's that's that's a win uh everyone else is new I think there's the guy from uh uh L the detective is the guy from get out have you seen get out I have seen get out you know the guy the guy who's survives spoilers no no the young guy who who's the the one that they recognize at he recognizes at the at the house with the hat and he's like oh he's when he real when he realizes something is wrong because this guy's acting like like nothing weird is going on but he recognizes him from like the hood but he's now he's like acting like an aristocrat yes but I don't he takes photo of him and then he has like a seizure that's right yeah okay random

cool Sorry spoilers for get out sort of I don't think that's really a spoiler it's right in the middle of the film and also it's been more than two weeks so yeah yeah so it's fine but yeah so he he's he's the detective in it and then everyone else I don't know that I've seen them in in other stuff I think they I'm sure some of them have been in recent TV shows and things but I haven't a range of TV shows that I watch but okay so the the plot of Death Note in general the basic premise of the whole thing is that there is a book called The Death Note that you write someone's name in it uh and they die and you can also put the way that they die if you want and also you can dictate what they do for the 48 hours before they die I don't know if

that's a new addition in this I don't remember that one uh and the other the other provisor is that you can't you have to write individual people you have to know their name cuz you have to write and then you have to picture their face as you do it so that so that so that the book knows which Matthew ham you mean correct and uh and that's the the the basic premise and then this kid gets the book and he starts to use it for the purpose of doing what he thinks is good like wiping out criminals and things like that and then it all gets a bit out of hand things quickly spiral out of control cuz you start off with bad criminals and then you just go down to people that's called to piss you off little bit yeah yeah well I'm just guessing he kind of makes it into this

thing where makes it like look like as a vigilante basically doing this and so it causes this whole big drama and it it gets kind of like it's it's silly in that there's certain people jump to conclusions about how this is a mystical power and stuff like that no one really questions it but it's a Japanese story and they they jump straight to that stuff more than we would in Western stuff so this has to do that as well otherwise it's not going to work are there any rules with what you can can't make them doing that last 48 hours there are a lot of rules he go there's like a a sequence where he's going through them all there's like I don't know 80 something rules um but they they don't tell you all of them uh and yeah there are rules uh I you know what I don't

remember the specifics but there are like uh it's got to be possible the way that they die has got to be possible like they can't be eaten by a shark on the toilet um and do they say that in the movie is that an example they give yeah yeah riok says that and uh and yeah there's rules like you can uh you can rip a buz I don't have any of this is spoilers you can rip a name out again and destroy it but only once so if you make a mistake you can you can get rid of it but only once um and then the person who has the book is the The Keeper of the book that's the only person who can see ryuk the uh the death God uh no one else can see him or hear him and if you want to get rid of it you just leave it somewhere for 7 days and then and then it'll go away and they'll

find someone else for it or you can give it to someone else God would have so much fun with that book this was it was pretty good it was not as good as I remember the Japanese one being there's a lot less of of ryuk in it in the Japanese one he's just kind of there a lot and just hanging out looking like a [ __ ] heavy metal album cover yeah and the CGI in the Japanese one was pretty bad if I remember but it was still yeah it was awful but was Charming but he was still but he was a good character so it it didn't really matter uh in this one he's a [ __ ] fantastic looking and sounding cuz it's William defo he doesn't show up as much and when he does he's in the shadows so I feel like he almost should have been in it a bit more even though he's kind of one of the

goofier aspects of the of the Japanese one but it works because the story is kind of goofy it gets very goofy as it goes on there's certain things where you're like wait a minute so without that kind of goofy aspect I feel like it doesn't work as well yeah right interesting well they're they're trying to make it all gritty and realistic are they oh yeah exactly it's it's all gritty realistic it does have like some some funny moments but yeah it is it's very dark and gritty and and serious whereas yeah the Japanese one has like a a lighter tone to it so so I thought it was pretty good uh I don't hate it as much as a lot of people seem to it's gotten gotten some bad uh bad reviews I think probably for the reason I just said is that they kind of missed the

tone of it I think but it was good check it out it's on uh it's on Netflix well they gig Tyrant review was awful they yeah right they didn't like it at all yeah the acting in it it's not great like William defo obviously is great the main guy I think is pretty bad in it um and uh I think the girl his girlfriend in it she was pretty good but her character is is like I said it's it's it's get a bit silly and and like melodramatic so you I really think the tone should have matched that better yeah I might watch it I might not I've just added it to my quue so I'll check that out when I can yeah now I was entertained by it and that's the goal of a film so if it had a secondary goal other than that I'd be surprised so

exactly just make me watch it that was it goal and I did so tick y would you watch it again uh I would watch the Japanese one again actually and I I actually might do that there's two Japanese ones the first one uh I think uh probably has the same plot as this one and then there's a second one where there is another death God that show is and the second movie I actually like better than the first and it starts one minute after the first one ends like the the last scene in the first movie is the first scene in the second movie so like continues straight on I remember them being very good so I watched them on a flight uh I I just put I saw the first one I was like oh that sounds interesting and then immediately just watched the second one like one after

the other on a flight to Europe so yeah great so speaking of horror movies uh there's another horror movie that's uh in the news this week uh and it also constitutes as Alamo Draft House news which I'm pretty sure we'll need a jingle for we're getting to the point I think I love that place yeah you do so uh Alamo Draft House were were recently you know they were they were criticized publicly because they had an all female screening of Wonder Woman uh to uh to which [ __ ] all over the world took to the internet to uh to say that that women shouldn't get anything that men don't get as well so uh to which Alam draft said you can [ __ ] right off um and now uh they're uh attempting fate again a second time by uh screening preview of the new Stephen King movie It uh that

only clowns are allowed into so that's [ __ ] awesome yeah are people upset about this um I think you'd have to be next level douchebag to uh to start protesting that clowns are getting too much too many rights I think this is just a a great publicity stunt it's very funny I uh I would dress up as a clown to go to this yeah I think that would be great but I don't even know I mean maybe you can't maybe it's not just for people who dress up as clowns maybe you've got to prove that you are a clown I'm just trying to think how freaky it would be to watch that in a room full of clowns I'd love to see a bunch of clowns freak out we have a friend who doesn't like him and I know a lot of people don't like clowns I think

it would be great to just to to like if you had a friend who was like absolutely not I don't want to see that film I hate clowns just be like oh come on we'll go see the Almo Draft House we get some food couple drinks it's going to be great you know I'll be there it'll be all right and then you turn up dressed as a clown and then everyone else is dressed as a clown as well that would be awesome so I had a I had a similar uh experience to that once actually uh the first time I ever saw A Clockwork Orange which used to screen at midnight on the George Street Cinemas uh when I was a kid and I'd not seen it because it wasn't available anywhere except to watch there and they wouldn't let you in if you're under 18 which at the time I was not uh so for my 18th

birthday my dad took me and not only did I watch this [ __ ] weird movie that nothing can prepare you for the first time you watched it but the entire audience were also dressed up as droes and were yelling things at the scream like rape her rape her and I just I did not know what I'd gotten myself into the I mean this is obviously a little less uh weird than that but the first time we went and saw the room we the first time I saw it in the cinema the first time with a worry he's got a football yeah he's wearing a suit boo oh all right he's got a football and then yeah uh it's like what the [ __ ] is going on and then you see the film and you go all right yeah the [ __ ] is Tommy waso doing

now no he had a movie come out last year remember with that's he did didn't he oh [ __ ] yeah that buddy cop thing with uh with Greg cestro why haven't I seen that yet where is that you know just read his book oh Disaster Artist yeah I want I want to see the I want to see the film have you seen did we talk about the trailer for that by the way we did with yeah James Franco's very good was impression looks excellent I think we've also talked about the the red letter media video where they met him that's very funny as well now that I haven't seen I should really catch up on that yeah no this is it's an old video on the YouTube channel actually but if you search on YouTube red letter media Tommy wasar you'll see it it's pretty funny well speaking of red I I went and watch their uh

Ghostbusters 2016 review oh yeah uh I couldn't get into it the review yeah I mean a it wasn't a great review they weren't really making fun of it so much as pointing out what was wrong with it yeah very even just showing the clips I was like [ __ ] me this looks awful yeah it wasn't it wasn't their best work I was it was you know they had some funny bits but it was mostly just like the comedy was just showing clips of a bad movie like yeah that's right but another another remake of an 80s movie is coming out this time as a series did you guys see that the Karate Kid is coming to Netflix I've heard about this and it isn't it a um sort of a sequel or something yeah what original cast yeah Daniel son has become a

successful man in his life and and Johnny Johny is that the real synopsis yes I can't I can't remember what it was for he might be a martial arts teacher I think he has a martial arts school from memory I think he has a martial arts school Daniel son has become a successful man in his life there's going to be rival martial arts schools yes and Johnny from the Cobra Kai Dojo he was at convention recently well he reopens the Cobra Kai Dojo to Ral Daniel's which we're assuming is a dojo also and there'll be some kid who gets picked on and then learns karate probably no I don't think it's going to be that I think it's going to be like a

classroom full of kids and it's on mass and then every every week there's going to be some new karate move that that they're going to tie into some other thing Dr to work it into the story yeah so okay this week we're going to learn the stapler it's when you [ __ ] fold yourself in in a half and Crush down hard on your opponent you bite them I'm actually looking forward to it I'm going to watch it so I actually caught a little bit of The Karate Kid remake recently one with um little little Smith yeah which didn't bother me as much as I thought it was going to because he's literally a child in it he's not even a teenager he's a little kid and you know you can't before become a douchebag yeah

exactly it's just a little kid um Jackie Chan plays Mr Miyagi except he's not Mr Miagi because this is said in China and everyone's Chinese so and it's Kung Fu it's Kung Fu instead of karate so go figure but anyway Chang the name of the film then they didn't they didn't but uh the interesting thing about it is that because the little Daniel Son character is so young he's about 10 years old but they haven't changed the story so his yeah principles are stupid things yeah yeah just Just Go With It yes do do what you want we have some some genital news this week if you guys if you guys want I know the listeners want actually before we get to gen genital news this is a this a tech we don't use very often yeah exactly tease before we do the little

disguising myself as various people and sneaking into places and then really subtly strangling people from behind that's where I am right now oh I finished mankind divided by the way day sex mankind divided or do sex or however you want to pronounce that I'm not Latin and who is it is it is [ __ ] excellent and I I I looked up cuz it got pretty good reviews but then the there wasn't much you know talk about it after that I think maybe it was kind of a a dud with the fan with well with with the with the public in general but it's [ __ ] excellent It's like honestly one of the better games I've played recently so if you didn't give it a chance listeners you should if you enjoyed any of the older games it's [ __ ] excellent I I will but at the moment I'm

playing LEGO Undercover City and I hate it oh well then tear you away from that I I always love um Lego games this one just I don't know just hasn't grabbed me and I'm just going to go around and get 100% cuz that's what I do in Lego games yeah just yeah just play something else play uh play Wolfenstein or play mankind divided play mankind divided it's very good and we can talk about it I I will get around to it I promise I've got a lot of games to play L the future and people getting augmented and and the the politics and the ethics around it and then there's like anti- terrorism going on and like it's [ __ ] awesome it sounds awesome and I think I might even go back and play the first one as in the very first

one which is still a very good game but you mean you mean Human Revolution I mean the the new generation first one yeah that was a good game too it was a very good game except for the boss fights and throw it an easy I might just enjoy story um this one does not have boss fights like that at all it's got one sort of boss fight except it's not really you think it's going to be one of them but it's it's not it's just like an it's yeah I know that they would not be bringing boss fights in there they learned yeah yeah no it's not it's not like that all they learned their lesson that was yeah like the game is the same uh all the way through as in you know like the the process is the same it doesn't suddenly become a different game that is good so um has anyone uh heard

about the paid mods coming back again yeah you guys still playing Fallout 4 um I need to go back cuz I still I just remembered today I haven't finished it yet oh yeah I don't either oh man well creation Club is live that's Bethesda announced it at E3 and everyone went okay not again it's better than the last time they brought it in yeah apparently it's not much better well this time they're actually policing it I little to interest in this and I [ __ ] love Fallout so so if you don't know creation Club is you know you've got mods for for Fallout 4 and it's going to be for Skyrim it's going to be for actually I think that's it right those two yes y it's yeah basically Bethesda mods except

they're kind of like curated uh premium mods that I guess they pay either they make them or they pay other companies to make these mods and then you you you buy them instead of just getting them for free but PE and and the first one which is obviously a bit of a joke flashback to Oblivion is horse armor because if you recall the very first mod for Oblivion paid mod was armor for your horse that actually didn't do anything but still cost $10 it was just a different skin I brought it yeah of course of course you did I got it when I bought the pack of all of them cuz some of them the later ones were actually pretty good there was some Dungeons and levels and things then my horse died it's cuz the armor didn't do anything it a [ __ ] ridiculous thing to sell but now people are

complaining cuz they've got mods on there uh for example there's a mod that brings a weapon from it's like one of the Brotherhood of Steel no it's it's a power armor right right but there's already a mod for it a community mod that's free that's this is the one thing the mods they can't with the paid ones they can't it has to all be new and that was one of the problems that happened last time that um when they were tried to pay mods is everyone just started stealing everyone else's work right and just so so someone would download someone else's mod and go this is really good upload it and charge $5 for it and then no one could stop it right so now they've got the curators and that's why they've said everything will be new so they can't people can't charge for stuff

just it's not though is it it's they've making stuff that's already out there for free oh yeah but they've made it again oh okay and actually the free one is actually better than the one that's been released to pay for that's what yeah that's that was the thing that that struck me most about it so how much do these things cost um anywhere from a dollar up to got whatever they want to charge really it's like furniture and weird [ __ ] why would you buy this some people enjoy that but some people will also get that stuff to build on to make more of a story cuz I spent maybe a couple of hours at one point trying to fix up my little house in Diamond City in Fallout 4 and then at some point something clicked in my brain I was like

what the [ __ ] are you doing like it's completely pointless oh man I built my own house and it was [ __ ] great and I love my house and I love coming back to my house instead of just going back to one of the it's not real preexisting house none of I'm actually okay I'm actually okay with paid mods I am too I have problem content like game content not just like is a couch you can put in your bedroom no no if people want to do that fine go for it like it's you don't have to buy it but I think it's actually good for some of these people who make mods are making some great mods like they're making actual story content that right is really enjoyable if they want to charge for it and make a little bit of money I say go for it and this is

a way that they can actually make a little bit of money from doing it yeah cuz if they would try to sell this on their own without going through Bethesda then Bethesda is going to shut them down like Bethesda happy for people to go out and play mods but they don't want people to make money off if they're not making money which I also think is fair yeah I agree it's fair go for it but as long as it's looked after and not just do people do whatever you want like as long as they're trying to release quality and they're trying to protect people's work as well yeah I believe in people's right to buy this stuff I just can't imagine I would ever ever buy this like something the story stuff would be good yeah I won't get it because it won't come with achievements but well

you you turn achievements off when you use the mods I put a bunch of mods on Skyrim because I was just like you know what I've played this game I'm going to put some mods on it I won't get achievements but who cares what did you put on having fun put on uh one that lets me have my sword on my back and I one that lets me uh what else did I put on I found a few there's a few that improve the lighting it takes away lights that don't have actual light sources in the game and and replaces them with with actual light sources so it makes everything look a bit more realistic in in general ambient it's great yeah so there's I've got like maybe 10 mods installed now and I at first I was like oh yeah but no achievements but then whatever yeah you

don't care about achievements no I've already like I've already played through the game I'm just I'm yeah I'm not even looking for achievements I have gotten so many achievements in the last couple of weeks though from Wolfenstein and Mankind divid I'm sure you've noticed Luke I did I'm very proud of you thanks man yeah no paid mods go for it charge away make sure they're not [ __ ] I don't understand why people get upset about it I really don't right well yeah okay the Hellfire power armor you don't have to buy it if you don't if you don't want it yep you don't have to they're not forcing you like I would only buy DLC that or paid mods that gave me story content not just I new bed oh hang on but but I'm just reading the description for the power armor right you've got to

do a quest to get it so that's pretty cool so it's not the same as just getting the free one and slapping it on so I think maybe I don't agree with these people now like if it's if they're actually making it's an add-on story like quest in the game well I'm I'm down with that that was my whole point was I just don't want to be buying [ __ ] for no reason yeah I would be if you're going to buy it just have a look at it and very carefully to make sure that what you're buying but there are some people who just do want new armor right to walk around looking cool or a new mailbox yep the people are out there who like that stuff freaks but yeah like for as long as they're protecting people as well so no one's stealing work which happened a lot last time I want to know about has RS what

about Bumblebee Hasbro are suing DC over the name Bumblebee because uh Hasbro obviously own the rights to Transformers and there's a Transformer called Bumblebee but DC also have a character called Bumblebee uh which is a uh Teen Titans character now you may ask didn't Teen Titans come out uh almost 10 years before Transformers uh yes it did and you may ask why there uh why they're doing this now and the answer is because there's a new Transformers movie coming out that's just about Bumblebee evidently huh and uh so they want everything that could distract people from associating bumblebee only with this movie to disappear I was going to say do you think they're going to sue bumblebees but then I realized do you

think they're the ones knocking off all the bumblebees and it's a conspiracy look I mean if there's one thing that I've learned listening to David Ike it's that if you think there's a conspiracy there probably is one there probably is one Dan do se's bumblebee are they doing a lot with that bumblebee character at the moment not that I know of never heard so then I think they should just keep their money and go away the answer is yes in December 2015 DC announced superhero girls a new female focused cross media initiative that reimagined several female DC characters including Bumblebee as teenagers attending high school together sounds awesome okay this is the this is the crazy thing so Hasbro only were able to trademark the name in

2015 and now so this is just stupid I this throw out of court well here's the thing I mean if they were able to tra Mark a name in 2015 that had been in use by DC for the last 30 years then DC should have contested the trademark ruling yeah it's one of those things I guess where no one sued anybody before so now it's kind of like now it's okay which is why why DC are now suing because they're saying sorry Hasbro now suing because they're saying well we trademark this for this reason right blim me no it's they shouldn't have been able to trade market either I'm against it fix it well all right you've been told Luke is against it get your [ __ ] together that's the ruling can we have the Harvey Birdman uh jingle we can where is it uh I can't remember what

don't really care about or want so yeah my LG one's got that if I put a SIM card in but yeah well I don't see the point I connect my phone with me exactly so I don't have I don't have an iPad with data because I just tether it to my phone like yeah it's not like I'm ever going to have my iPad and not my phone with me like it's very unlikely so wonder if it's going to have like the NFC which this is one thing I found weird when in America like in Australia we tap for everything here oh yeah no there's they don't have any of that [ __ ] here I'll go into a place and I I don't know whether I have to swipe or insert my card and it's just completely different every time cuz it's also weird over there it's cuz a lot of places they will also if you're paying with a card
