The Return of The Last Jedi: Ready Player One Review & Bill and Ted 3

I've made a terrible mistake just before sitting down for this podcast go on agreeing to do this podcast welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy no no no I made that mistake years ago we all did this is a recent mistake mhm my was a bit sore today right is that cuz you were doing the Gladiator uh audition it might be related to that yeah by Gladiator Challenge do you mean the children's playground that Luke was playing in earlier today yeah it was fun I had to push some kids out the way to have a go but that's that was my favorite thing about that video was like

Luke's struggling to get across this thing and then when he gets to the other side there's just a line of [ __ ] kids staring at him like hurry up you old [ __ ] but yeah so just before we started I decided to put some Tiger Bomb on my leg which that's all fine but the slight problem is is how do I record the podcast um naked oh so I've got tiger bom on the leg rubbing up against my gentleman's area right that is burning you often have a cat in your lap while we record and I don't know that we've ever put these two things together I'm just I'm just going to say that and then walk away don't question that okay wow I know where she is at the

moment no well you'd know if she was on your lap wouldn't you oh yeah I think she she doesn't like the Tiger Bomb that's why she's not here that's what she doesn't like so how are you guys good been up to anything we lose Dan I think we have we lost in oh I was on mute man I Wasing out with gold all through that you guys were just not picking up what I was putting down oh well let's just make sure the listeners know that that whatever you said was [ __ ] hilarious man Luke was out for I was like so luk blah blah blah blah blah and he was like 2way what do you guys been doing welcome back to the show thanks guys what's been happening this week got some news hi just got back from the

movies did you oh I know what you saw I know what you saw too and Luke I'm very very interested to hear what you thought yeah I got to make a prediction Luke thinks it was all right I went with some friends uhuh and I can tell you exactly what I told them once the movie finished can I guess yeah you can guess if it's your kind of thing go and see it if it's not give it a well no because they'd already been there and they'd seen it with me okay what I told him was what I said was that was terrible okay wow okay so I like I want to go into that more but I just also want to point out that this is one of the few times where Luke actually does weigh in on a movie especially when one's bad because the worst of review

usually gets from you Luke is it's not my thing but if it's your thing go and see it oh I still think people should go and see it and make a decision for themselves you still wait wait okay you still think people should go and see it and they should make a decision for themselves well I plan to this week um but what will I expect Luke lots of Pop Culture references with no story yeah ah I was afraid of that I think we were all a little bit afraid of that yeah I won't give anyway any spoilers because it's only just come out so you've got two weeks but aren't the spoilers just all the pop culture references they yeah yeah they're all in the ads and everything like everyone knows that's there what they've kept secret was the story and I think it's because

they kept it very secret they kept it secret from Step Spielberg I mean that's a challenge as a director when you don't even know what the story is or if it even is one there was a couple of things I found quite weird and this is something that's seen in the trailers as well that they've got like Halo and they've got Tracer from OverWatch but then everything else sort of goes back to the 80s M and it just seems like they went what did kids like are they like OverWatch throw Tracer in that'll get the people in video games and the 80s also did we actually say that this is ready player one that we're talking about probably not because we're [ __ ] did we okay good I pop culture references and Steven Spielberg so I think people could hopefully figure it

out maybe not though although if you not if you listen to this show and you weren't able to figure it out okay um it's a it's a very pretty movie see is it because I I look at the tril and I'm like the the I don't know the look of movies Now does not appeal to me like the they just look very fake that shiny look that they've got now yeah I don't like them I don't like have that but I think where they sort of missed is because the book I'm guessing would have gone into a lot of detail about things and this have just had to try and rush through the story quite quickly to get people up to speed and I think it just it misses the mark for me look at me reviewing a movie I know this is great wait wait oh [ __ ] we missed an

opportunity here let me let me correct that oh we did look revs now there you go he doesn't riew often but when he does he does when he does he gets a jingle I don't half ass everything so so I watched a movie this week too that I'd like to have a quick chat about and then just move on to something else um I mean I don't want to freak you guys out but I I gave a movie that I'd seen before a second viewing sometimes I think you need that this is a movie I never thought I'd watch twice Baywatch yeah the Last Jedi yeah interesting I watched The Last Jedi again m guys and I [ __ ] loved

it without the hype and the expectations when I just watched it it's just a great little Adventure movie and all of those things that I'd been obsessing about for months were just little moments in this big film I mean all the silly things right that I thought made up most of the film were just relieving pressure after some really dark scenes when I watched it again it all made sense it wasn't what I was expecting and I wasn't prepared for a movie that strayed this far from the classic Star Wars archetype but this really allows it to Branch off into all sorts of new directions and I'm kind of kind of digging

it I can sort of see that because like as I said like some of the my favorite scenes in this movie like best thing I've seen in any moves I've ever seen like the stuff with Ray and um kylo when they're talking to each other but they can see each other but they can't and they're together that that's just I just love that yeah and then it's broken up by the nuns yeah right and those nuns are stupid but they're only there for like 5 Seconds of screen time and it's just it's basically every time the movie starts taking itself too seriously it does something to undermine the seriousness and yeah I don't mind that actually on a second viewing cuz now you know you're expecting it you can sort of like you know you can sort of tune out for half a second maybe or yeah

and the whole thing is basically every weird thing that happened on that island was there to show Ry that everything she thought was going to happen is not going to happen the expectation she had was she would get there and there'd be this old Noble Jedi Master who would been praying this whole time and working on the force and he would take her under his wing and train her everything about that was wrong you know yeah he's just a [ __ ] old man living any way he can on this little island and everything went to just undermining her expectations of that did you enjoy the blue milk the green milk sorry yeah Green milk yeah Green milk um that was one of the moments you just

tuned out for for a second yeah look I got to say can't tune that out come on so after seeing this I have a question go for it the casino Planet yeah guess what a lot happens on that casino Planet a lot of World building happens on that planet because For the First Time In what is it eight movies right for the first time we see that this whole thing is not about the Empire versus the Rebellion there's everyday people out there who don't give a [ __ ] either way who are profiting from the fact that there's a war here life is going on as normal for everyone who doesn't have a dog in this race and that is the one area of stubs that they've never ever tapped into it's always either been us or them yep politics

behind it yeah yeah sure yeah but there's also people sort of like that don't give a [ __ ] about sort of like even War now like there's war happening everywhere but we just live our lives yeah yeah yeah yeah for sure well hey man I'm not trying to convince you I'm just saying I uh I rewatched it I was on a plane I was on a plane and uh I had three hours and I thought [ __ ] it I'm going to do it and if I hate it still then that's it I'll never watch it again and uh when I talk about loving Star Wars I'll have to be really specific the first two the first of the third Trilogy and one of the spin-offs but I think uh yeah I'm back in the flock

guys see I told you it was a good movie you did and we convinced you it wasn't I my [ __ ] own over here no you g Rogue Matt yeah Rogue one that's me a man look look my sign would you would you prefer to love it or you prefer to hate it cuz I tell you it's so nice over this side um it doesn't matter to me look qu thinks I've lowered my expectations so low that's I'll be honest that's what I'm thinking but I don't care because I'm happier now I'll watch it again I I yeah it's out and I'll I'll watch it again yeah it is I actually intended to but uh and you know what's actually really worth watching there's a documentary film that's on the Blu-ray but that actually premiered at Sundance

this year called the director and the Jedi about Ry Johnson's process and I watched that straight after and that's fascinating not least of the which is that he insisted that those cows be practical props and they had to helicopter them into place H impressive for what is at best a throwaway gag and at worst yeah almost enough to ruin the film ruin that one scene did ruin it for people shout out and then they just filmed his first draft we don't know that we don't know that well that that's what he said yeah fair I mean if we believe him that's what he said

happened I mean not in those words obviously yeah look it's it's not a not a and they filmed [ __ ] idiot yeah unbelievable they want me to make three more of them I don't even like Star Wars CU if that wasn't obvious no all right fine watch it again fine hey there's a bit of Ready Player One related news in here oh go for it it's about uh it's actually Ready Player one and hamburger news you talking about the Spiel Burgers yeah I am actually which uh I thought I look I was looking at this article and I'm like oh come on this isn't going on anywhere and then [ __ ] Steven Spielberg posted a video yeah took so long as well it took so long um

so it paid off for it yeah in tribute uh to Ready Player One um Carl's Jr which is a uh which is a burger joint in the states they have it here actually but I don't think they back home yeah um it's a West Coast thing like a Hollywood kind of thing oh really yeah we don't really have them over here I don't think well the uh the logo is a is a star in a circle so um that's a little bit Hollywood yeah there you go oh yeah um so they tweeted in honor of Steven Spielberg's Ready Player one we're changing the name of our Charro sliders to spiel Burgers Spielberg hasn't signed off yet but we assume he's cool with it um so they kept checking in every day with another little uh another little post I'm not going to go through them all but after a

couple of weeks Spielberg finally chimed in and uh told them to cease and desist because Steven doesn't have a sense of humor it's like could it just be that because they were doing it every day he just got the shits with it well it says leave me alone they showed up at the premiere of Ready Player one with them they sent a guy down with a plate of them to try hoping to I guess present them to him uh didn't get to see him I think and then they've made this joke post I guess they said they left a note on his car which St fieldb didn't drive to the premiere so uh no so that's obviously just a little joke but uh yeah yeah so they they put in a bit of effort to get this in front of him and then yeah he just said nah well actually I don't know if

you can hear my audio he said he said uh they're pretty good but I'm going to have to take a pass that's a ceas and assist you can't do it guys for memory yeah close enough that's a shame and you think they maybe already spent a lot of money on this they have but it doesn't matter because the publicity is really all they give a [ __ ] about yeah because let's face it we wouldn't be talking about Carl's Jr on this podcast tonight if it wasn't for that no exactly we' we've been to Carl's junr Luke we have yeah I just remember yeah they're they're not bad they're not great I'm not like I don't ever just sit at home and be like you know what I feel like [ __ ] Spiel

Burger I would go they had a SP Burg though 100% I would go there for a Spiel Burg yeah and well you could still go there it's just not called a Spiel Burger now yeah but I could go to any restaurant and eat a burger that's not called a Spiel Burger had a good burger last night did you what' you have it's a it was just a b like a hamburger or cheeseburger at SI Place N laur's Grill it's like a place in Smithfield here see you know what you you would never have heard of it but you if you're in [ __ ] Smith Field Road Island you should go there it's good well Laura from Laura's Grill we've given you quite the plug so yeah no I just I just thought of it I'm like man that burger last night was really good I'm going to get one it's good when you

find a good burger so there's a burger joint right on the corner of my apartment building that has recently closed down and I cry into my pillow at night every night because I were the best burgers in Singapore and now they're gone the best and closest Burgers well that's a factor what what happened not a burger city um no it's probably more of a burger city than you think actually um and they opened up one at the airport from the same franchise so I don't know I don't know maybe it just wasn't McDonald's is that the one Donald's McDonald's is that the franchise no no hey speaking of um delicious things to sink your teeth into um do we have any

BS tonight yeah we do this article the last couple of weeks we've uh we've had some uh some Katy Perry news which has proved uh to be you know a bit of a bit of a turnaround from our usual uh nerd news um but in that vein we've got some Beyonce news this week because apparently someone bit Beyonce and everyone's trying to figure out who it is but I [ __ ] love the headline of this article yes so at some Afterparty in December apparently some some called Tiffany hadish who I don't I don't know who that is she's a celebrity never heard of that person but she said in an interview in GQ that an actress high on drugs bit Beyonce during the Afterparty and I've heard I realized it actually

doesn't say in this article but I'm pretty sure she said on the face I think I read another article that said Beyonce got bitten on the face so I read on the face too no no no I heard on the face all right the headline of this article is Jennifer Aniston denies biting Beyonce because they just called everybody and were like did you buy did you buy Beyonce but I love this they called literally [ __ ] everyone and everyone's publicist has uh has responded Jennifer Anderson's people said quote what I have no idea what this means why would you think that Jennifer Aniston would do such a thing that's absurd end quote next on the list Julie Andrews now I'm assuming this list is alphabetic

order but seriously is Julie Andrew still alive and suspecting of biting people her spokesperson said quote I've got no idea what you're talking about [ __ ] Kathy bits she's on there spokesperson said I have no clue which which is not a denial no ml's people uh denied it though yeah no Shirley did not bite anything she's 83 old 83 years old for God's sake Amy Adams's spokesperson had a little bit of a sense of humor she said no so funny that you would ask if Amy Adams did this why why is it funny that's almost anion of guilt she hasn't buil Beyonce but she has bitten somebody I love this one this is Jody Foster's uh spokes people because there was an

article that accused Sarah Foster of of being the person that bit uh Beyonce fer on on that journalist I have no idea who Sarah Foster is so if I just read Foster I probably think Jody Foster as well yeah I don't know is it like a relative or something I don't know maybe she's another singer but but Jody Foster's representative said that article says Sarah Foster not jod Foster that's not a denial either no and you know what's especially not a denial Queen Latifa whose spokesperson no comment now I don't know so this is something that Tiffany hadish said and then I've asked all the St has anyone spoken to Beyonce I don't think you're allowed to just speak to Beyonce she's like the queen man Tiffany no the queen Latif is the queen herish it's cuz you call

yourself the queen doesn't mean you are the queen oh Tiffany hadish is an American comedian and actress from girls trip Keanu the last OG I don't think these movies come out here I think she's got a very specific target audience that's the one with the little kitten Kean is the one with ke and Peele okay yeah and a little kitten and a little kitten I focus on the kitten [ __ ] love K Peele so glad Jordan Peele won the [ __ ] Academy Award yeah man I'm glad too got tops and I'm glad that his friend is so happy for him I know that photo of him up on the [ __ ] chair yeah yeah those guys are [ __ ] tops they are man they are I don't always get on board their comedy but uh they're good BLS yeah I find them

hilarious good sketches I watched actually one the other day where they texting each other about how misinterpret the tone of the T that's a great sketch I'd say that's their absolute best yeah whatever and he's [ __ ] whatever whatever I just have to go back for a second to the Foster sure cuz they've got the email that they sent Jody and this is what it says the cut has suggested that Siri Foster may have been the person Tiffany hadish was referring to in GQ when she said the actress beit Beyonce do you have a comment they've just sent that to Jody Foster MH I that oh right so they literally in one breath said Sarah Foster and then asked her to weigh in on it yes yeah and she was like I don't have an opinion because the person you're literally just

asking me out now is literally not me yeah exactly I wonder if anyone emailed Steven Spielberg and asked him about it just you know while we're emailing random people it's weird or Fosters Brewery Cartland United Brewers yeah maybe or somebody's foster child people here actually do think we drink Fosters in Australia everyone thinks that a strange drink Fosters because Fosters who don't give a [ __ ] about the Australian Market have absolutely [ __ ] cornered the Australian Beer Market in every other country in the world I know yep we were at at a restaurant on Friday night and uh we were looking at the the drink menu and I was like oh what do you got and then my friend uh Doug actually L you know Doug he made a joke saying you got

to he he doesn't know a lot so I guess uh he's a Target now yes but he's also hated by the other side because he came out and said um the sexual Predator epidemic in Hollywood Must Be Stopped um and if someone gives me $1 million I'll name names Aha and everyone was like you [ __ ] serious no no you just do what everyone's doing at the moment and you just come forward cuz that's the only way to stop it you don't do it for money exactly so it could have been someone he was going to name or it could have been someone who just thinks he's a [ __ ] but somebody stabbed him somebody stabbed him yeah he's fine he's fine so unfortunately Cory Filman you're not our

geek of the week yeah I do want to watch Lost Boys now oh yeah oh I want to watch meatballs four that's the water skiing one I've never [ __ ] seen any of the Meatballs movies I they are all just completely different movies hold on I'm Googling meatballs oh we watched a movie last week actually there's some news related to this oh okay we watched well I forced Jenna to watch Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure she's never seen them she's never seen them I haven't seen that in a very long time and then so I was like no no we're going to watch this you're going to love it and then it started and then you know it goes at the start like the the 80s like base comes in I don't remember that

specifically but sure and then but no if you if you um watch guarantee the music at the start you would recognize it and as soon as it started so 80s and I was like she's not gonna like this movie She you have to watch this when you're a kid and I'm this is going to be one of those things where I'm going to be like you were right weren you no well at the time yeah we watching the movie every literally every five minutes she was like this is [ __ ] stupid I'm like yeah yeah yeah bear with me and yeah then we got to you know Napoleon at the waterl water park and uh eating the ice cream sunday you know all of the historical figures going crazy zy piggy zigy

piggy so good it's so good yeah and then it got to the the bit where you know they have to steal Ted's Dad's keys from the police station and then they go they figure out we'll come back and we'll come back hide a tape recorder with Ted going Dad Dad come over here trash can must remember a trash can yeah and uh so I was like oh man and I got to the end and she was like all right fine and then a couple of days later she said to me I've been thinking about it and the more I think about it the more I like it oh my God yes so Bogus Journey next that's amazing yeah Bogus Journey for sure Jour was actually quite good and then Bill anded 3 Bill anded 3 it's the closest ever

years the closest ever been but they've got them both in a room now and that's more than they ever had before and they've lock the door and and unless you got a movie the Grim Reaper is up for coming back oh I'm kind of sad now that Rufus has passed on I know I know just also because George Carin was [ __ ] awesome but yeah so yeah they've uh they've got a producer a director and apparently I don't know if they have a script but they have you know an outline didn't they say they had a script like years ago I'd be surprised if they don't have a script by now [ __ ] if that's all they're waiting for I can whip them up a script just run it past me first just get Ryan Johnson to [ __ ] one out yeah that's right Luke would Ryan Johnson's uh pitch of uh Star Wars episode 8 have

have passed your test um okay let me uh let me let me summize then it would be um y the rebels are being chased by the Empire sorry the first order um they both are going the same speed so nobody catches up to each other and Luke doesn't want to train Ray there's the one thing that I would change out of that entire movie which I think would make it a million times better and that's when Luke's talking about the force okay and about how they're still going at the end of the movie there's still going to be a light side and a dark side and I liked where Luke was going where there's a dark and and then there's that gray and I think that's what they should have been aiming for that there's no good and bad it's just

Shades of Gray 50 of them I think that could have made a huge difference in the movie so that's the only thing I probably would have forced him to change spaner a 50 Shades of Gray joke I apologize I have we're GNA have to have a special podcast where you explain that to us one week when it's just a slow news week we'll just go Matt will sit on the carpet you can pull up a little stool and uh and your copy of I didn't make it through the book guys I couldn't make it through the book it was [ __ ] awful and it didn't have vampires which made like Twilight had vampires would at some stage she had to take him out yeah that's right I'll try again maybe oh can I just say I was right sure with Han Solo and

the dice oh yes yeah you were been confirmed you were and I think it is stupid but uh I'd like to Al so that video sorry I was at work when you sent that and so I actually didn't hear the audio did they confirm that that's how he won the Millennium Falcon it's yes correct the props guy who made those dice casually in the uh the director in the Jedi says uh yeah these are the dice the dice on solo one Millennium Falcon with and he keeps him on his dashboard ever since right which I do have a slight problem with that with them being on the ship that they they found in the force awakens cuz it's been stolen and taken through that many people and upgraded and then they still got the dice there I just find that a little hard to believe

you find that hard to believe yes yeah nonsense yeah there is some uh oh hang on got some Star Wars news I'm going to play the jingle uhar warar just a short version well there's a couple of bits of Star Wars news today yes that's true so well solo news specifically uh even though people are going to be sick of us talking about solo even though it's going to be great no they're not going to be sick of it yet they're going to be sick of it next month it's going be so good can't believe how good this movie is going to be um apparently Lord Miller the directors who were fired uh I think we already we already kind of knew this more people are conf confirming it they

were taking too many doing too many takes of scenes they were doing like 30 takes of a scene and all the actors and and everybody on the set was like the [ __ ] are they doing this is like we can't keep doing this and uh and that's why they got fired so they just did not have any experience on working on such a big film with so many moving pieces and they were trying to do it the way they would do like a little indie film and it just was not working and weren't they just trying to get like people to ad Le a lot and just have fun with it y and then they never have fun with it they should have got Jared Leto in he would have had fun God you would have given him options mailed everyone a [ __ ] condom mailed everyone some

Dice Man a freak yeah yeah I also read one Hollywood Reporter story that um one of the crew had leaked uh that Ron Howard was only filming closeups interesting yeah so I mean I guess I guess everything worked in the wide and he's just going in and uh oh like the dialogue and stuff maybe yeah yeah he's just going and fixing little specific details yeah that would fit with that kind of narrative where they were having people just make [ __ ] up yeah so essentially it's the same movie he's just making sure everyone says the dialogue that's in the script right so it'll all cut together yeah uh oh yeah and the um the quote from this this is somebody who apparently worked on the film regarding uh

Alden ER Erin Reich Erin Eric his acting coach they hir an acting coach for the guy who was playing Han he said uh alden's not a bad actor he's just not good enough wait the acting coach said that no no no no so this is this is some other actor right some [ __ ] some extra on the [ __ ] movie was like he's not bad he's just not good enough should have got yeah I was about to say there's a subtext to that yeah I still find it crazy they got that the acting coaching like only once um Ron Howard started so yeah itate it also does point out that um good point he was like [ __ ] off I'm done yeah I'm the guy from witness

next they do point out that uh a lot of actors and actors and actresses use acting coaches even very good ones and they give Amy Adams as an example as a good actor who also always uses an stop you there yeah I know give me give me an example of a good actor who does it then I'm not having Amy Adams as the tent pole for good actor well they do research and they get people to help him with accents and like I bet Christian Bale has an acting coach who teaches him all these bloody accents what he does yeah well that wouldn't I wouldn't say that would be an acting coach I mean it is if they're teaching accents that's was part of the ACT isn't it uh I don't know I find that a little bit difference teaching someone an act an accent is a bit different to teaching

finances and all sorts of stuff so he he says he's hopeful but he doesn't think it's going to happen cuz uh [ __ ] what's his name I msh Ian McShan yeah Ian mcshan's big star now yeah a man he is he's not that big a star just got to watch I have no idea who he is yes you you watch Deadwood he's the [ __ ] best character mate he is so [ __ ] amazing in Deadwood there's one episode where he's in he's in a pair of those old timey like overall unies is this the kidney stones oh [ __ ] man that whole thing the kidney stones the fact that he's got that [ __ ] dude's head on his desk there's this one bit where he goes on this huge monologue this amazing Shakespearean monologue about the changing face of America and the annexation of the you know the satellite

States into the United States and all of this stuff while this [ __ ] disgusting toothless [ __ ] is sucking him off yeah it's a great show it really is so good you should watch it Luke don't watch it on a plane add it to my list Paul made that mistake when we were flying oh that's right he put an episode of death wood on and I looked over so many tits yeah and it was yeah it was some some large woman lying naked on a bed and like and then he he was like oh [ __ ] like cuz he just some woman sat next to him on the plane and I was like what were you thinking don't put wood on wor was when I was on a plane to New York City and was watching that documentary Zeitgeist which contains in it a montage that goes for

rampage that is a adaptation of that old game yeah yes and U ball is suing them but just because he he thinks it's going to take away from his movies that he stopped making or um I'm not sure uh he came out and put a post on Twitter that had the poster for Rampage with a circle around the title a circle around Dwayne Johnson and a circle around the white gorilla and said um this is plagiarism what so the title that he stole from them he's complaining and somehow he thinks that his movie also contained The Rock and a white gorilla he's funny he's so funny oh he I

think he sort of lost it a little bit more than b [ __ ] a little bit he's got this picture of them all crossed out and he's written in just in [ __ ] Ms paint and over the top it says fake and then Rampage [ __ ] yeah see here's the thing it used to be it used to be funny that U Bor would would have these outbursts I mean he he famously had this like very outspoken Feud with um Michael B because he thought that Michael Bay was everything wrong with Cinema and every day he would post an update on it and then when somebody said to Michael Bay what's going on with you in U ball he went who can I play this clip I don't know hopefully you guys can hear this I'm want to play this video of him [ __ ]

get some raving reviews and it looks like I'm all in in it no but they're not all in it it's all about the [ __ ] money they're [ __ ] [ __ ] and retards and they're not even able anymore to create a piece of art or a movie because they spaced away in talk shows they sitting there and saying I'm one of you you know I'm Jenny From the Block and then she what is Jennifer Lopez like a [ __ ] demanding Mexican [ __ ] nothing else who wants to fly with a private airplane but at the same time she oh we have to take care of the environment in a talk show right and then they're demanding private airplanes it's so fake and absurd that I really really uh wish they wouldn't get [ __ ] wiped out you know because that is why I did Rampage and that is what the guy

says we have to [ __ ] kill the rich yeah okay kill the rich I had to say com but it's also he's just seems a bit upset that no one's going to see his movies yes defin know how to see a u ball movie honest to God like I remember I used to hire out the like the movies like um postal and stuff from the local video store but postore God I love that mie of the Dead House of the Dead funny version blood rain and uh alone in the dark so many Classics I haven't seen his um aitz film were his comedy one or his serious one because he made two aitz movies back to back you mean blubberella was laella was first yeah where OB yeah he made a serious one where he

played the guard yeah well the the uh the gas chamber he was outside the gas chamber people banging on the door in the trailer [ __ ] hell yep yep he takes risks I'll give him that he does well not anymore CU he quit we'll see we'll see ball so Luke I see here that you've completed Far Cry 5 two times um now correct me if I'm wrong but that game came out day before yesterday um it came out on when was it Tuesday so where Saturday Sunday so days ago 5 days ago yep and I finished it twice the first playthrough was about 10

minutes though right um like what I mean I played through completely like got the credits and everything it's the same thing happened in like Far Cry 4 if you just sit there at the start of beginning that game oh the game finishes the game finishes and so it's sort of the same thing in Far Cry 5 if you just sort of sit there and just sort of do what you told or in this case not what you told the game just ends right and then I played through properly so you actually did manage to play through the game properly yes played through completed it not 100% I've still got a few other achievements to go through and clean up but nah yeah I had a bit more higher hopes for this game it's what you're into check it out exactly it is if you

liked other Far Cry games this game will right up your Alle well I led Primal but uh but that's the only Far Cry game I've really gotten into other than blood dragon no I think if you liked um like Far Cry 3 or four this one you I did like three what I played of it well they're re-releasing three oh again it comes out in May you go because they already did that they're doing it again did they yeah if people keep buying it they'll just keep releasing it yeah yeah they did a HD version I'm quite happy I thought didn't oh they're doing a now a new like Xbox One version PlayStation 4 version hey look I actually quite like that cuz it gives me excuse to go back and play games I quite liked on prettier Graphics interesting but yeah I've played it I finished it I heard there's

a lot of bugs in it I've seen some funny videos oh I didn't get any so that might be PC then oh could be apparently there's a bug where if you um open the back of a truck like the loading ramp for a truck drive the truck around and then stop and it sort of there's a bug where it kind of saves the kinetic energy of the truck bouncing around somewhere like in the code and then if you go run around and shut the back of the truck the truck will fly off into the distance all right I need to try that I'm going to try that once we finish from what I understand what you've got to do is yeah open the back of the truck like the so the little loading ramp comes down drive it around a bit stop get out and then close the back of the truck and it will just fly

off into into the sky and you can do that while people are still in it if you're playing Co-op oh Co-op yeah sorry yeah I was trying why would people be in it but yeah Co-op I forgot yeah this is one of those games where you can play completely in Co-op I never will no yeah I play with you but you know we don't not the same time time zone no should try and do that otherwise we' be playing sea of Thieves now [ __ ] we should do that we need to do that we need to play SE of Thieves together I have it installed I have it installed on my computer and Xbox so even Hannah could play with us can we can we do that can we do it you guys up for it yeah in I

mean I'm up for it I'm up for saying that I'm up for it put it that way h i get up we have gotten to this stage before I'll get up early in the morning to do it I'll make J will too I'm sure it does look very well even if if you don't get up early if you just stay up a bit later and then we record we play in the day like we did for Star Wars yeah all right [ __ ] all right let's let's for reals try and do it cuz you can actually play it for free if not $10 there are your options or you can buy the game for $100 if you want but if you just get the Xbox game pass oh you get it you can download the game and play it and everyone gets like a two we free trial with the game pass or you can just buy it for 10 bucks for a month but you

do I keep the game once X pass Xbox pass expires no no you'd have to keep paying for the pass to keep the game probably going to be cheaper for me to just buy the game overall cuz I'm not going to yeah correct yeah well for me for us are you planning on playing it for 10 months well I'm not it depends I don't know yet I guess cuz yeah like if you're planning on playing it for 10 months definitely but if you're only going to play it for maybe a couple of months tell now 10 months exactly but I'm also not going to play any of the other games but I guess H yeah all right I need to do some uh some soul searching on uh trust me you would you would be

better off doing this in the long run all right sounds like such a pain in the ass that's got get seconds got to get my head around a whole new thing okay what happens is you get the game pass right so you just got like an Xbox life description it then pops up so when you go to your games Hub there's a little option that says Game Pass and you can go down to that and it just shows you games that you have that you can just install here's my problem with it right so I get this game pass right it's $10 a month right Y which means I got to keep paying $10 a month on to play the game every now and then right what happens if but they they cycle games in and out of that right they're not going to do that for the Xbox exclusives they've come out and said

that Xbox exclusives are just going to be part of the game pass you promise yes all right maybe that's why day one sea of thieves was on The Game Pass all right I did see I saw there was a funny Penny icade about how you know they they're um putting in measures to stop people cheating and and stealing [ __ ] off each other and then they're like it's a [ __ ] Pirate [Laughter] game yeah there have been quite a few um hacks going on that but the hacks sort of ruin it a little bit well that's that's what they do like auto aim and stuff right all right here's a deal I'll get

Xbox game pass and then we're going to we're going to have to try and and tea up and play together we'll set up a Saturday or we'll probably do a Saturday okay or maybe we should do a Sunday I don't know we'll do one of those days yeah so Saturday will be a Friday night for me yeah that works yep so if we do the Saturday we do Saturday day you do Friday night and we play and we go plunder some [ __ ] all right I'm down [ __ ] do it [ __ ] do it all right and then I'm captain well uh can we we got that group thing on [ __ ] Xbox right can the listeners participate in this somehow or do we not want to do that I have I have no idea I can stream it and they can participate that way if they want yeah all right I don't know if we want to let these losers on the [ __ ] in
