In Turtle: The Last Jedi Rewatch, Indiana Jones 5 & Top Gun Maverick

this is the part where I say something isn't it Luke's forgotten how to do a podcast it's really hard because I'm not talking to Dan do is there something going on I just can't bring myself to talk to Dan at the moment so it's going to be Matt I'm going to have to talk to you to pass on to Dan oh that's are we shoting and I don't know about it that Dan just hang on a minute Dan let me figure this out L Luke what's what is this what do you want me to say can you ask Luke why we're feuding yeah okay just one at a time yep just a sec uh Luke y uh is there something going on between you and Dan is there some kind of problem you you angry at Dan about something is there a problem h Dan I am very angry at Dan and he knows exactly what he's done uh all

yesterday it's uh it's pretty nice having a dog it has a name I believe his name is Charli with me now yeah that's right Charlie I just Saye I go I go straight to Charlie the wonderdog and hearing the piss week K singing Charlie we love you yeah Charlie the Wonder doog starring Charlie the Wonder is not named after that he is definitely not named after a character from The Late Show is he named after Charlie from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia oh [ __ ] I didn't think of that either he is let's just Nam after my friend Charlie yeah he's named after your mate Charlie he's named after after um the cute little name that I like to call cocaine you know what I mean oh that makes sense yeah yeah what I'm like hey guys uh I'm coming to the

party should I should I bring Charlie and then I'm going to know if I'm asking if I can bring my dog or whether I'm really going to make a party out of it and then no and you being you it will go hilariously wrong yeah that's right things will spiral quickly out of control in fact earlier this evening as I was setting up for this podcast uh he spilled beer all over myself and Charlie um so that now he's drunk it's passed out of my lap so you could be right he's still that puppy atro just passing out everywhere yeah yeah is that a thing cuz I he's are you are you in your puppy age is that what that is Luke yes puppies will sort of I've had puppies before that will run around run around and then you'll call them and they'll walk across the floor and then

sort of stop in the middle of the room and sort of pass out he just flops like a rag doll y this is where I'm going to sleep for a minute yeah well it's good to know that's normal just let me recharge Charlie is more well that's adorable he's very small he's in small at this point yeah I'm hoping he will get quite a bit bigger than this like Great Dane size kind of probably not that they reckon he'll get 12 kg but I have a a hard time estimating things in weights I only do ounces now so because I mean could be small but incredibly dense and weigh 12 kg yeah you know what I mean yeah like that head idle at the start of Raiders of the Lost AR you got to get it just right yeah I started watching that today did you he not play that very well he's

a sack of dirt I'm just going to eyeball it there was no way that thing it was going to weigh the same as that sack of dirt dirt's not that heavy it wasn't ill thought out plan wasn't it yeah well I will say this though has the right plan outside a temple that Indiana Jones is raiding yeah and just wait for him to come out and steal it off him that's just follow Indiana Jones around and then and then sip a pin colada and wait for him to come out I don't remember the pin colada I might have invented that that's what I did yes yeah back in the 30s 30s 20s mhm 30s I'd say 30s last century it's Nazis in it I'd say 30s yeah 30s yeah remember when he met Hitler and he signs the book great Ser ridiculous you know I got sad the other day well actually you know

while we're on the topic there is some Indiana Jones news and uh I was thinking the other day because they they're doing ind5 like it's going to happen apparently as long as Harrison Ford's around I don't think that is Luke thinks he's going to die um H but I was thinking I'm a little sad that he's not going to be able to fight Nazis cuz as old as Harrison Ford is now whenever when Indiana Jes is at all there's not going to be any Nazis around well not not openly anyway unless that's true secret Nazis cuz it was the Russians in in the the the bad one number four na right uh I mean there were still Nazis at large by that point in history uh they could rewrite it so that Indie joins mosad and tries to hunt down former Nazi

war criminals who are also elderly men and they all have Supernatural powers for some reason cuz they have a little Supernatural touch to an Indian movie I guess they do I guess they do oh speaking of which right I met an Indian the other day an Indian person right Indian Jones who um we were just chatting about the different like Indian religions that they are and I you know are you Hindi like oh no no no no I worship um KH and I'm like where have I heard that before and then I realized she's the religion of those [ __ ] freaks in the Temple of Doom the yes kie isn't is that Hindu that's not Hindu I thought that I mean I guess I shouldn't be shocked that I'm not familiar with with

all the religions of the region but um okay did she attempt to remove your heart from your chest um I mean emotionally sure oh yeah all right but true so true then yeah yeah the thuggy cult that uh that worships the the death God khie that's a real thing it's not just something did she show you her Shakra Stones shankra Stones whatever they're called yeah and she she had a lot of slave children with her which I wasn't awward super can on yeah try the brains like how come you get all these do you think that movie you know what I'm just thinking about it now is that movie a bit R racist yeah I think in in hindsight horribly racist yeah just dawned on me that that's probably very racist eating you know that the

especially the scene with all the weird food that's a little yeah it is a little racist bit culture shock isn't it look at the crazy stuff they do in India yeah yeah well there you go time for a rewatch there you go um so the Indiana Jones news uh people have been floating you know for a bit now that they think Chris Pratt would be a good replacement for Harrison for I actually remember saying a few you guys on this very podcast that I would like that and well they they asked Harrison Ford about it and they're playing this off like like Harrison Ford is down on he's not keen on Chris Pratt because what he said was it's him or me but that I mean that seems obvious you could take that a

number of ways he might be saying like well I'll do another one and then if I'm dead by the third one then he can step in yeah but if Chris Pratt's going to play indana Jones well obviously it's Harrison F's not going to be in it unless he like plays sha Conor's character or something like but the funny thing is they can't both play why would he play sha connory because it's his father yeah I could see I could see con is not going to be in it that's what I meant no that's what I meant if Chris Pratt Henry Jones and Chris Bratt plays Indie yes man I'm I'm all over that that's yeah but but they can't both play Indiana Jones people like that might that could very well be all he meant he just he was just young Indiana Jones they do they had two Indiana Joneses in

there they well they had more than two actually uh even the Last Crusade they had two in there yeah but the thing is Steven steber came out this week in response to that and said there will only be one actor to ever play Indiana Jones I promise you that and that is Harrison Fort but he's already incorrect yeah River Phoenix played him in the film two young actors SL him in the series yeah and then also in the series the first series was rated by an old man with an eye patch that was supposed to be elderly Indiana Jones and then by the third season they changed that wrote him out got Harrison Ford to play Old Indie and then edited all those bits out of the show for the DVD release and then there was the young young Indiana drones and then there was Teenage Indiana

drones so yeah's lying to us yeah he just doesn't know he just doesn't know and also he he can't make that promise they'll do what the studios will do what they want yeah and by the studio you mean Disney it is no longer up to uh exactly it's like there will never be any more Star Wars movies never yeah oh yeah actually they will you know I've heard they've made their money back yeah yeah I've read that this week as well $4 billion yeah not bad I've read actually that they made it back just on the marketing sorry that the toys and the and the tie-ins for Force awakens I read that they made it back right real quick yeah I I was surprised at only run reading about now yeah movies billion is a lot of money though sure is like the the movies didn't make what made what

half a billion in Turtle I know about I don't know you say in turtle that mean but that's the licensing is where the real money is yeah seemingly so a lot of toys a lot of toys and such which I don't buy anymore yeah I'm sure you don't sure you don't too many POP vinyls I seem to recall you building a little bit of Star Wars uh Lego this week from the newest of the Star Wars movies solo that's a good point okay okay Lego yes right not a to I don't think Lego is a toys it's Lego is something I do when I'm sick oh well that yeah yeah I mean that's their slogan right it's like Lego something to do when you're sick well works for me speaking of Star Wars news I don't have my little music box to play the live jingle at the moment it's all packed away my house is

in a shambles at the moment because um we're getting the floors done in most of the rooms I'm in the kitchen right now so if it sounds breakfasty in here I apologize I sound like I'm doing a little fry up are you yeah as we're recording yeah yeah I wish um but uh so I don't have my music Bo we've got some Star Wars news just a little bit little bit actually I I lied there's actually there's there's one more thing that I remembered in the [Music] spreadsheet I watched a Star Wars movie this week I forced myself to watch a Star Wars movie that I had seen once before forced yourself yes I rewatched The Last Jedi I forced myself so let's let's just let's just set the scene here all right we all saw it at the cinema y mhm I didn't really

like it Matt you didn't really like it mhm Luke I feel you didn't really like it either but just really wanted to like it no no I was sort of some bits I loved and some bits I didn't yeah look I'm I'm I'm with you on that one there was some bits of it that I that I really got value out of mhm um I did force myself to watch it a little bit later and and got much more out of at the second time Matt drumroll did this movie improve on a second watch no I I actually had blanked out just because I'd been so focused on the negative stuff that I didn't like that I did blank out some things that I did really like in it but overall I just it's not it's not for me I didn't I didn't like the movie he does some clever visual stuff that I enjoyed and I

was like oh I didn't appreciate that at the time because I was you know I was like not enjoying something else that he'd done earlier but there's if there's some clever stuff like just a you know film filmy type stuff like you know when um kylo Ren and Ray uh communicating uh remotely yeah and the first time and she she sees him and like shoots at him and blows a hole in the wall and then and then they both start running around trying to figure out what's going on like she runs outside and he's running around the ship and then wherever they go they they end up seeing each other and then it ends up with she's outside chatting to him and then they talk for a bit and then Luke comes out and looks to where kylo Ren should be and says what

are you doing and then it like the camera whips around and where they're both looking is the nurses are like fixing the hole that she shot in the wall and uh like that just that setup was I was like that's clever that's that's clever uh I enjoyed that and uh I enjoyed the visuals of crate at the end uh it's very very beautiful with the uh the salt over the red clay mhm yeah I really enjoyed you sure it's salt Matt you know that for a fact I I turns out 100% no room for interpretation uh it is salt uh and I really enjoyed the Ray and kylo ren stuff up to a point I really wish I reck it would have turned the movie around for me right if uh after the the fight in the throne room which I

I still don't enjoy that fight too many yeah too many issues with it uh which I'm sure we've gone over so I won't I won't go over it again but um when kylo Ren's like [ __ ] it don't worry about him don't worry about the resistance don't worry forget it all come on like we we could we [ __ ] get rid of all this [ __ ] just burn it down and start from scratch and like he's like come on I just really wish she'd been like yeah all right yeah it go well you got to think she's been with the resistance what 3 days yeah yeah I know and he's like because that's his his argument so compelling like like your parents are nobody You're Nobody except to me you're somebody so let's [ __ ] do this I was like you have a psychic connection to the resistance I was like yeah do it

like I would would change but then that's just me I guess I really I would have loved that look I think the things we like about it we all liked but uh there just the the other stuff in there that there's a sliding scale of how much we'll put up with to me the second time around I didn't even get bothered by space iron you know what I mean this yeah that's just something you can get past the one thing I'm still struggling with is hyperspace now that hyperspace that worked for me original you mean how fast it is now oh yeah it's like instant like in that Star Wars when they were traveling from Tatooine to Alon that had felt like it was taking time yes yeah they were chilling out in the ship while it was happening chilling out relaxing and now

it just seems you can get anywhere in a few minutes yeah you you travel at the speed of plot but the other thing is there's a lot of stuff that I I'd also forgotten about just little on the- nose [ __ ] lines and things like that that seemed like there there's a bunch of stuff you know we talked about how it was subversive and he like trashed a bunch of stuff that JJ set up but he doesn't just do that he also pisses on it a little bit like anytime they they they point out like Luke says at one point um he he says no I shut myself off in the for so that all comes up and he's like what did you think I just hid away on an island so you could come and find me like and then like basically looks down the lens of the camera like [ __ ] off JJ and then like little things like that

and then like every time it's like he he he like shuts down some thing from the force awakens and then they have to comment on it a little bit yeah I was just like what would you do that for and then the other thing was there's a lot of cheesy stuff that I felt was too cheesy like Ray shoots like three [ __ ] Tie fighters that are in one shot and then Klo Ren says send all the Tie fighters after the after her and then like all the Tie fighters leave the battle and it's like oh that's convenient and then and then po comments on it and says huh she lured them away all of them and then Finn Finn goes they hate that ship it's just like GH just that that sequence was bad see that said though I recently watched the original trilogy and I couldn't finish Return of

the Jedi for the same reason yeah you might be right [ __ ] awful I couldn't finish it like it is not as good as the last J it's not because at least that I can get to the end there's enough good stuff in there I turned it off when there's a bit where a stormtrooper a trained soldier wearing full armor is defeated when a little Ewok dks him on the foot and then trips him over it's ridiculous yeah you're you're right maybe Star Wars just isn't that good no it is but just the first and second one yeah no then skip ahead JJ's is good Gareth Edwards is good but that's it so anyway I'm still not a fan of The Last Jedi in general I still think you know who still argue about it with you out like a punk yeah is Ryan Johnson he will he

will argue he will duel you yeah I and I want to go head-to-head with him on what he said you can just get on Twitter because somebody uh somebody put on Twitter um a guy called Curtis Sams this week just wrote on Twitter I would have loved to have seen Luke's actual transformation as opposed to just seeing him be grumpy and then Ryan Johnson instead of just ignoring it because who who is it to anyone just [ __ ] takes it up and just goes Luke is in fact 100% consistent with his character not the way he's described in marketing blurbs but his actual based on his words and actions character I'll be in the bar if you need me okay this is why I think I want to go head to-head with him on this his words and actions in return to Jedi he sees good in his Darth Vader who has

murdered millions of people mhm mhm and he's prepared to go and risk his life to try and convert him back his nephew who he's who is asleep he was planning to murder in Cold Blood yes that's a bit of a change in character if you ask me yeah and cuz one of the things one of the themes of last year I guess Luke's theme is that that he failed right he failed Ben and but Ray may not fail right that's just the same [ __ ] theme as as obiwan and and Luke like it's the whole it's just all over again like you're just rehashing it's not nothing original about it and and it's not it isn't consistent CU he didn't fail like he he

lured Vader back from the Dark Side like it's just a rehash of of of that except I don't know I just I don't really know where he's what he's where he's coming from and also I feel like nerdgasm on Twitter yes he uh he he just needs to shut up because I feel like all his arguments about it kind of undermine how confident he is in his take you know what I'm saying yeah like yeah that's right it's just the same amount of confidence he has that he still got his uh next Trilogy even though no one from Disney is mentioning that anymore I I got to think it's Ryan Johnson as a human being he's fine I don't yeah seems like a cool guy did you ever watch the the documentary on him

making the Last Jedi no not yet it's fascinating it's called I think it's called the director in the Jedi it's it's basically just about him knowing he's got this big weight on his shoulders and just trying to and there's there's bits where he's just sitting down with his head in his hands and like his friend the the producer or whatever comes up and he's like what's what's going on man he's like I think it sucks dude I think I think I'm [ __ ] this up so I guess his confidence now yeah but I think his confidence now is just kind of you know in uh something to kind of counteract it doesn't S the fact that he he did like it's [ __ ] tough like I that's that's why I'm like I hate this all this [ __ ] about people bullying them and and you don't have a go with him

like I didn't like it like [ __ ] whatever who am I like it's he he even though you're saying you don't like it you're not attacking no never I would never like [ __ ] man I I'm sure if I made a Star Wars movie it would be garbage like I would [ __ ] watch this [ __ ] out of your Star Wars movie mine would be good all right let's back it up here Matt turn off your alarm it's off don't forget it's daylight savings keep your look Luke and I have actually both discussed in the past what our St Star Wars movies would be Luke is just going to resurrect old stories from Canon and uh and I'm going to just write a story about people that live in that universe but have lit nothing to do with anything about the Rebellion or the alliance um which Luke not even a planet

with her which Luke would never watch he's he's been made it quite clear uh Matt what would your what would your Star Wars movie be I feel like we do we need to get away from the from the Skywalkers uh I would I would if they would allow me I would go back and maybe do something set around the nights of the Old Republic era do explore something set back then cuz then you can have you can have all the elements of a Star Wars movie without the same characters and you have to worry about people getting upset that you've destroy characters they love or anything because they're not there I made them up so uh yeah I would do that I would do probably not not I wouldn't adapt the games because then you got the same problem like if you did the story of you

know definitely go either before the games or after the games but I would I would do something like that like maybe even Explore the origins of the uh the Sith and the Jedi like that that would be interesting Matt I've just pasted a link to a vimeo video down under the segments is there a way that you can play that so that we can all hear I just realized what it is if I can make a movie uh say main character would have to be uh probably someone just like me um and my friends you know kind of nerdy but cool or thinks he's cool I thought we were cool on some kind of Adventure involving monsters and uh and spaceships and yeah well I mean that still that stands yeah yeah that's fair uh so listen that

was that was me asking Matt this exact question 10 years ago and uh that was his answer and I would watch the [ __ ] out of that movie was I I'm I think it might have been more than 10 years just quietly or I yeah you could be absolutely right I mean I mean I've still got hair in that video Yeah fair fair yep so yeah but imagine that imagine a Star Wars movie right done in the old style of course done in the Retro style yes um about some some nerdy kids [ __ ] going on an adventure in space meeting up with the all the characters from Star Wars and they're just being [ __ ] balls to the wall comedy yeah hey look Disney I'll do

it yeah I I'm prepared to be in it but I don't think I can pass for teenager anymore yeah we would have it'd be like the Indiana Jones thing where we would have to play our own fathers that's a good point no it's him or me oh my God imagine I I play the child or no one [Laughter] does seriously seriously for a sec guys I just want you to think about this right in this movie that Disney are now making 70 SL ' 80s retro style Star Wars movies about teenagers that go into space and meet [ __ ] Luke Skywalker and [ __ ] there's a scene at the start I didn't dad back in this now yeah yeah yeah they're in there there's a scene at the start cuz it's retro man oh yeah there's a scene right at the start where the kids are like getting permission off

rating and assassinated people is like going to be like [ __ ] Game of Thrones presents three Cassie and Andor with his dick out oh yeah yeah so they're making a Cassian movie okay not movie television show sorry that's yeah misspoke but yeah television show yeah I think they it sounds like Disney is starting to go away from the movies a little bit after solo didn't do as well as they thought I think they're still doing every doing all of it but like yeah I know what you mean the only movie we know of now that has like officially announced and he happening is yeah but don't forget they've also officially announced the Disney uh

online portal and they need content for that and series is where it's going to be at for that yeah can I just say though cass's an Choice yeah but I think he's a cool character no I agree it's just for them odd for them I just got to say if you're going to do a cassum movie get Gareth Edwards back yeah oh if if if you let him do it if he's up for it mate he's up for it yeah but then that character is I mean like he's a [ __ ] at the start of that movie at ran he like shoots that guy and like to save his own skin and and like that's the thing the television show is going to have to be about him being a hope they don't make it just like solo where they were like no he wasn't a lovable Rogue he was just

lovable yeah he no no no he doesn't his character is not consistent with with the way you seen they've tried to explain solo now as the name wait what they've tried to in Solo when Han Solo gets his name solo they've actually explained why that happened it was meant to be sort of a bit of a dig at him being alone and that he shouldn't be trusted because he doesn't come from anywhere there's no family he's basically saying like he's gut a trash so he's solo so be careful with this one about giving me any responsibility or anything because he comes from scum no it's just his name I think it was just cuz he was there by himself wasn't it yeah but yeah that's that's what it was but now they're trying to explain it yeah cuz they realized oh that was dumb

and it didn't go over as well as we thought yeah so one of our listeners Kevin um posted a Theory online this week um because he's he's queried why is Princess Leia a princess because no one knows her mom was a queen because that's a secret right yes her parents are just politicians I never even thought of it yeah yeah so what is she the princess of so Kevin's Theory fing you want to hear it yeah okay yeah I do princess is her first name I never even thought of that yeah she's not a princess is she she's not a [ __ ] princess yes well she remembers if you look at the queen of nabo like that's only an elected title as well so REM she a princess so she would known why aren

this further right but what planet highly doubt it what planet gets blown up by Star Killer Bas you see people on a planet get blown up what planet is that corant it's not what that wonderful was cor it's not you're wrong and people on the internet will [ __ ] argue with you about this cuz it's not the planet is hosnian prime that's it's not corusant but there was a bunch of planets wasn't there it was the entire hosnian system none of which were corusant not communicated in the film anywhere right and it it certainly looked like corusant to me and to 90% of the audience I bet and it might as well have been corusant because they didn't say it wasn't but but it wasn't CU that's the only that's what [ __ ] Anno me about Star Wars now mhm that that cuz

cor like people would know that from the prequels and stuff that's what people would be expecting to have been blown up cuz that was n hosan Prime so because the Republic moves every 5 years now so that uh so that there's not I mean that's [ __ ] stupid too but so that there's not uh so that no one's hogging all the power or some I don't know some ridiculous thing you have five years how much would it take to move to entire government of the universe every five years this what Star Wars is now I guess that's the that's wasting taxpayers money and I know I know I've mentioned this to you before but that that that also gets added on to the fact that it's not tne it's jaku even though it it is the same planet thematically and Visually and simar from from a

storytelling perspective like from a from a film perspective if you didn't have the audio it's tne it's the same Planet except that it's actually more like how they treat tne in the first film which is supposed to be you know the farthest point univ people things happen it's along the wa for everyone jaku on the other hand is just some [ __ ] hole it's almost like JJ wanted to do tne and then Caron gets blown up and then at some point early on enough that they actually changed the dialogue they said N I can't be T it's two on the nose yeah and then and then they said later on in post production can't be we can't blow up Carson you blow up people are going to think you just because somebody pointed out that

in some cartoon that set after that cor still there you know I bet it's that yeah but but but I agree like it's it's clearly it's clearly Tata even though it's not and it to be honest to me that's like and I do love this movie as well so I'm not knocking it exactly but in Prometheus right um clearly in the first draft of that movie yeah s it was the same [ __ ] yeah yeah come on yeah and the fact that the fact that it's not now just makes the plot a little bit confusing yeah cuz the ship crashes there and and and all that yeah yeah yeah so yeah that's what Star Wars is now you need to uh you need to read a bunch of extra [ __ ] otherwise you because people now think Caron got blown up when it didn't it's silly yeah but

here's the thing why the [ __ ] is Darth Maul suddenly here now he got cut in oh no he didn't Daniel in fact if you've read a bunch of books and seen a bunch of kids shows you'd know he's got s legs don't enjoy that I don't enjoy being kept in the dark here and just quickly if listeners if you're going to write in and say they do they do point out that it's hosy and Prime in the movie they don't they say I've had arguments come up on the internet with people trust me I've I've been following it intently because I thought it was interesting they don't they say the entire hosnian system was destroyed they don't say oh and corusant not that system it's hosnian Prime that got blown up wink yeah they just and then you see H

looking through a telescope going it looks like coron looks a lot like corusant yeah hos they don't say hosnian Prime they don't say corus and they don't at any point in Star Wars mention that corusant is not in the hosnian system which is the assumption that any normal person would make when they show you a planet that you looks like exactly like a planet you've seen before get blown up with them not mentioning things providing they don't then just go back on it later like look we all know they're called Ewoks even though no one says the word Ewok but it's not like later on they went oh those weren't Ewoks that's right but even visually that shot of the the Star Killer base blowing up hosnian Prime yeah you look there's a bunch of little moves and

stuff like that it just it's just corison it's the [ __ ] same thing it's like visually the same so it's like I said it's almost they just wouldn't let JJ do it well actually it might come down to it wasn't because they had Ryan Johnson wanted to make sure it was different it may have come down to because of what you're saying of the the extra books and stuff yeah no no no I'm not saying Ryan Johnson had anything to do with it okay yeah is just due to some book or cartoon series had already moved them there and so they're stuck with it no no I'm just saying Disney at some point probably wouldn't let but I'm I'm almost certain that he it he wanted to blow up corus like cuz the visual language is just the same well yeah when you when

they've got the scene of the people looking at what's coming at them it looks like car yeah clearly yes if you didn't read a book that most people didn't read you would think it was Carson there's no reason not to think it was Carson anyway so I don't read the books anymore because they can just turn around and say they're not real anymore yeah the story group hgo is our God now that's the head of the story group there you go there you go look at you put me in charge all right you know how we were so we were just talking about uh the end of Rogue one being unsuitable for kids because it's a bunch of people essentially committing suicide right well yeah sort of yeah so uh New Zealand have come out

this week proving that they are the weakest nation of sissies on the planet um what's happened because there is now a trigger warning at the start of A Star is Born the movie where lady gagar and uh Bradley Cooper fall in love and sing songs yeah spoiler warning cuz we're going to have to tell you why there's a trigger warning yeah although I'll say trigger is the fourth remake of this film right right the first one was a silent film the second one was in the 30s the third one was in the 70s and now this one now is always the same ending they fall in love they're doomed he realizes he's holding

her back and he kills himself in the end but apparently new zealanders are [ __ ] falling apart to the point now where actually a spoiler for the end comes up at the start of the movie says Bradley Cooper hangs himself this yeah a dog watches it's very [Laughter] sad who's going to feed the dog yeah oh don't worry he's got something she's still alive he didn't kill her and then kill himself yeah also lady will feed your dog a whole Bradley Cooper for the dog to Feast on yeah is very sad and it's Bradley Cooper's dog in real life so is it yeah it is oh man so they so not only that he traumatized the dog on set he made his actual dog watch him pretend to commit

suicide yeah don't don't well don't tell him don't tell him it's a movie I want his performance to be real yeah the dog's like what's going on no no Bradley Bradley and they're like cut why standing around filming his name's not Bradley in the movie his character's name is Bradley yeah yeah we're going to have to go back and dub it so that his character's name is Bradley now some I always assume if a character in the movie has the same name as the actor it's because someone in the film just couldn't get it right and so they they just said it's just going to be easier if we use their real name well it happens in happens in the first Star Wars movie famously that's true like I

assume I assume the reason Charlie Day's character in O Sunny is called Charlie is because somebody probably Mac just couldn't get it right just couldn't say it hey it's Mac's show Mac writes it no I know I know I know well I Jack Jack Nicholson is always a character called Jack always Jack napia and I assume it's because he doesn't really know what acting is and it's like that episode of of The Simpsons where he's like when I say Mr Sanders and I push down on your foot you say hello yeah they're just saying some other name and he's just not reacting he's just not responding sorry I thought you were talking to someone else my name's Jack we're acting

yeah I know yeah yeah Jack Jack so yeah stars born terrible film no it was that's why I take away from this I haven't seen it I've no no no no it's it's it's a perfectly perfectly good Hollywood Romance movie I got no interest in it but yeah I'm not going to be saying it's probably not your guys kind of movie n um to be fair I thought there was going to be more country music in it was disappointed to find that there wasn't has it got a scene where Bradley Cooper drinks green milk from the tit of some mermaid likee sea creature and then looks directly at the camera and Winks there's a lot there's a lot of shots of Bradley Cooper drinking there there is lady gagar tits that is a no you know

I'm sure of that I I've not seen any of them they hassle Hof rocks in I haven't seen any of them what do you think Luke should we watch these you should don't they're not they're great terrible movies yeah okay that's what I thought look you know how some movies they tried to make a terrible movie but they missed the mark they have they've hit the now right on the head with this one all five of them just get more ridiculous as the movie goes on okay as it goes to sequel like this turns into lava tornadoes and nuclear tornadoes and they all just sharks running around killing everyone running around yeah well flying around but they get like where whichever country they film in they get the equivalent of like Good Morning America or the Today's Show

it he's there okay okay yeah so he was just bluffing with his yeah looks that way so the plot of uh of the film this is just synopsis not I'm not going to spoil anything I don't think uh the characters are reunited after 10 years to celebrate South Dakota's statehood former rivalries are reignited alliances are tested and Old Wounds are reopened as all are left to navigate the inevitable changes that modernity and time have wrought so it doesn't really tell you anything no but I'll watch the [ __ ] out of this listeners a lot of you have probably watched Edward and and you probably love it if you haven't watched it because you think you don't like westons imagine if William Shakespeare wrote a TV series where he was just

going to be focusing on and then when you don't get it back cuz there's a lot of games on there yeah oh yeah tons tons and tons like you could yeah not buy a game forever s ridiculous but one of my favorite things about Game Pass is that I don't have to put the Fallout 4 disc in anymore because it's part of Game Pass so I'm paying $10 a month to just not have to put the disc for a game I already own in the Xbox that's perfectly and honestly that's the reason and I went digital yeah cuz I don't want to have to get up to change discs absolutely yeah well uh you know where we don't have to change discs and that's over in the Afterparty because we changed a lot of [ __ ] in there but yeah cuz we just downloaded a bunch of mp3s and that's what we listen to when we're having our
