[Music] welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy well today I hit a bit of a milestone with my gamer score oh yeah oh yeah I noticed you did man and congratulations in order 600,000 yeah we got a tweet about it and I actually tweeted it as said are you [ __ ] [Laughter] serious yeah so I hit 600,000 um it's I it was really hard cuz I wanted to get it in a Halo game a oh you're okay I love it that you

think you're cheating on Halo when you get achievements in other games so do you think you're cheating if you don't get achievements but play other games is this like it's not cheating if you don't ejaculate well it's one of those things can't play the reason why I big reason I don't like the Nintendo switch is no achievements so no ejaculation yeah I get it yeah so and if you're not ejaculating what's the point all four playay so I think that's the Nintendo switch tagline it's all forplay um so even though I got this like just a few hours ago I've probably already got more gamer score than I think the two of you combined have got this year okay whoa whoa whoa It's not a competition I've gotten I've gotten quite a achievements

recently I got I got a few last night bet you I just got I've got I'm now sitting at 60,4 40 all right so you got 100,000 last night no no just today this all happened today 61,000 no sorry so you got 1,000 okay so what were you playing it was in Halo we know that it wasn't in Halo I just started playing some old games I got my back catalog that were quick and easy to get a Dodge the question just tell us what game you were name the game well there were a few games so what game were you playing when you clocked over to 600,000 oh no that was halo the Master Chief collection in ODST oh okay ODST is the only Halo game that I like uh and by that I mean it's the only game that I've played and by that I mean I

liked the trailer so I gave the game a go and didn't like it it is one of my Halo games one of my favorite video game trailers the my my first favorite Halo game is actually coming out soon this year Halo Reach that's finally getting a PC release and also coming to Xbox One I was going to say it's already out Luke that's how that's how you know it's your favorite yes cuz you played it but no they're re-releasing it with the remaster so the new achievements exactly that was a great game I'm looking forward to playing through that one again we we played some B lands too last night we did did you get some achievements there no you didn't no I've sort of got most of the achievements in Borderlands 2 with your level seven character that you had yeah

that was my level seven character I wasn't going to bring in my like my level 50 character oh all right I was about cuz I was like hang on a minute no you did you can't possibly have okay I get you yeah so I didn't want to come in and be super powerful in your game right so I thought I had this level a bit of the glory yes and so I he will level up pretty fast oh he did he jumped like seven levels I noticed yeah because we were way further in the game than he should have been yep so all it is is as long as we finish like some missions quickly I'll catch up I'll be still behind but I'll catch up pretty quickly MH well our main goal is to get to the Tiny Tina DLC so y the tiny little bit more yeah the tiny teenager no Tiny Tina

have you played Borderlands You' played Borderlands yeah I played the first one yeah I mean it was cute but I wasn't like super impressed with it really I mean it was funish I guess I think it's my favorite shooter like yeah but I don't like Shooters well this this is a shooter which I don't know I think the reason why Matt likes is so the other Shooters is it's a bit more casual so it's not like when you die this is not not not big mean but when you die it's not like you have to go back to a safe checkpoint and try and do it again you still keep your experience and your guns and everything and yeah like a baby yeah no you're right it is like you can jump in and do some stuff and then jump out it's not like yeah yeah cuz it's quite a big game and

botland 3 comes out later in the year so is that why you're playing too yes yeah cuz we we're like we should well we we started doing a play through and then we just stopped for a long time we were like hey we should finish that cuz we I we never played Tiny Tina the DLC Tiny Tina is a character uh Dan you figured that out I'm assuming I mean I assumed but hey thanks for clarifying she's hilarious yes and it's quite a fun DLC it's basically her sort of telling a story and it's in D and D character voiced by Ashley Birch I believe yes that is true I was going to fact check myself that is true yes I so and she's coming back for B is Ashley bir somebody that I should have heard of or are you just throwing out the name of the person who voices only tiny she's she's pretty

popular on the internet oh I see what you mean Luke I see what you don't not like that did you ever see hey Ash what you playing that that YouTube series no does that sound like something I would watch uh yeah I'm surprised now oh qu a gamer chick no no not interesting Fair very well yeah she does a critical role from time to time these days you know what critical role is Dan no no I don't you uh am I still to be on the podcast you can this is actually some interesting news so critical role is a it's it's Dungeons and Dragons It's a bunch of people

playing Dungeons and Dragons but special in a way because they're all voice actors like very well-known ah okay great voice actors um and it's very very [ __ ] popular now and they just did a Kickstarter to make an animated series of The Adventures of their D and D party and they just raised $1 million on Kickstarter what wow they're getting a good paycheck though cuz uh it's not like the cost on that show would be that high uh sure yeah well really think about it's group of people sitting around the table no no no this is a they're making an animated series of the okay of the adventures it's of the of oh so not just them sitting around they're not going to animate them sitting around the table they're like we do this anyway

would it be good if we got paid $1 million to do it oh yeah I wouldn't complain I wouldn't complain how I would I mean they are very good at Dungeons and Dragons uh well they're very good at Dungeons and Dragons as entertainment I feel like they've got that [ __ ] nailed no dag is not that it's hard to watch other people play it it's fun to play and also you like Dungeons and Dragons when everyone takes it super seriously we know this I I've had I've had more than one game of D and D with you where you've gotten the shits because people have not been playing in the spirit of the game and have been trying to make it too funny deny it Matt deny it it's not it's not entirely true I promise next time we play I will be more serious but

I'm I'm going to still try and sleep with NPCs NCS and they will shoot you down cuz it's just it's just sort of me hitting on you Matt so I I I know it's it's it's inevitable I suppose but seriously boys when we play the cthulu game we're going to take that dead [ __ ] seriously I don't want any spelling be I don't want any raping of goblin children while you slit their throat at a free concert we just have to have [ __ ] all I don't remember getting annoyed about the uh about the Goblins spelling be spelling be I don't remember anything about that I was I was very drunk yeah that's why we were allowed to get away with it all yeah don't remember a whole lot about

her I don't know that she's like super super well known I mean she looks like all those girls that are super wellknown so I would be able to tell the difference well she's the reason she's in the news is something that happened and there were only 160 people watching when it happened according to the stats so I don't think she's huge not not before then but this is the Strand effect right sure yeah oh yeah yeah exactly yeah so she's in the news because she was uh she was streaming herself playing what gex Legends Apex Legends uh and well she was doing a cosplay tutorial I guess there's an African-American character in there because she was in blackface at the time

yeah she she was doing a tutorial on how to cosplay as her favorite character who is black and uh I mean the article seems to indicate she doesn't really understand what the problem is so I mean this could just be a thing clearly that is the case I mean in Lithuania does this come up a lot I don't I don't know a whole lot about Lithuania mate it doesn't come up a lot in Singapore either but I know I know you can't do remember blackace only became a problem in Australia a few years ago after an American got upset about it no and by that American you mean Harry conic Jr I know exactly what you're talking about that's the one before that we were okay look Luke is not Incorrect and for those outside Australia um you're not until then we

had a show well I mean in a way you did Matt we had [ __ ] we had [ __ ] biscuits we had uh we we did have that Saturday afternoon TV show called hey hey it's Saturday that had a little Talent Quest skit version on it and they used to get International guests to judge they had Harry conik Jr the kuner on one night and uh a guy came out and did the Jackson 5 with himself in blackace and four black puppets and uh and this was his second time doing that act on the show he done it in the show previous no one blinked an eye except har who got up and said I should not have come on this show you should have told me if there was going to be a [ __ ] show involved in this I do not endorse

blackface it's sorry not sorry and from that day forward blackface was bad in Australia even though it wasn't making fun of and this is the problem like even with this streamer she's not making fun of her race she's just no this is her favorite character character yeah like yeah she's doing this I believe out of a kind of you know love for the character so it's it's a little interesting in that respect and it I mean obviously that's true but you can surely you can I mean there's no faux par against dressing as a character of A different race to you I assume I mean I've seen a lot of Asian Han solos lately right but yeah they

don't go white face while they do it I know it's well I don't know man I'm just I'm happy to be [ __ ] advised on this because I I'm noted dressing if people in Singapore when I dresses Han Solo that doesn't upset me as a white person cuz who I don't give a [ __ ] of course it doesn't upset you as a white person that's what I'm saying though but if if if I was to dress up as [ __ ] Rose from The Last Jedi and and do you know oh please oh my God Matt Matt trans yellow there is a sing there is a sing comic it would be I think you'd get away with that because on so many levels that would work am I have I been offensive by saying yellow face is that offensive no the phrase yellow face

is not offensive okay fine doing it might be doing the voice I'm sure it is might be G Mar trans voice she American accent I know what you're talking about then well she's an American actress so yeah yeah I don't know this I I get where you're coming from Luke I get where Karina is coming from and if she genuinely didn't realize it was bad then I you know it's a shame she's been banned for 30 days from twitch 30 days and then she posted a photo on Instagram of her in the costume would she have necessarily [ __ ] streamed anything else in for 30 days that hardly seems like punishment for [ __ ] like latent racism yeah if you doing this for live in 30 days that basically stops all your income 106 viewers she's not making

an income off this well no that's the thing look twitch just that what people viewing live there people still go back and watch previous streams I could go on and watch this now uh no cuz she's been banned and that would have been taken down Tak it down here oh man yeah I guarantee she's going to have a lot more viewers when she when she comes back now yeah she's now probably not any black viewers though I I wouldn't assume I feel like the I I'm I'm sure there are people out there who agree with Luke black people who agree with Luke who don't see what the problem is yeah yeah there might be six or seven of them it's a wide wide world and I'm sure no no no the this I don't see as even should be even be called blackface

continued to send me Transformers comics for about 20 years oh awesome well that's [ __ ] magnificent there might be exaggeration until I was a teenager um was it like all of them or you just getting like I had from I had I had a pile of them from episode one and to be fair they were not in the best condition and they i' had like cut bits out of them to stick on the wall and and and stuff like that but I had a a very big collection of um Transformers Comics the UK format the larger format with the kind of glossy paper they were nice oh and a friend uh a friend's little brother asked if he could borrow them uh to read and I was like yeah sure whatever because I I was a teenager at the time didn't give a [ __ ] and then right I'm out years

later I I realized hang on they might be worth something and I asked if I could have them back and he said oh my mom threw all that stuff out wow mhm wow I mean nothing about it yeah just look I've had this sitting around forever I don't think your friend's going to ask for it back I'm just getting rid of it yeah oh yeah I mean she probably didn't even know it was mine but I was like a at the time thanks Karen yeah moms are [ __ ] I'm glad I don't have one no I'm just kidding it's my mom's birthday today is it really happy birthday Mom yes it is but we don't have to talk your mom's she still has birthday she just doesn't age

I'm to be fair no you're right back in the day you did have to buy concert tickets very very far in advance oh yeah yeah always concert tickets in a draw somewhere that you were like [ __ ] I hope I remember when radio had actually come out God you remember living in Sydney when when we were kids and it was a [ __ ] miracle of a band ever came out oh I know I know and then sometimes they would come and you would buy tickets and they would like put a big poster up and then they would just not come just like a week before by the way they're canel yeah they're like I'm austr yeah [ __ ] that yeah and then you'd hear like oh they've got this amazing stage show it's going to be great and then they just show up with some guitars

and amps they be like well bringing all that [ __ ] over on the [ __ ] we could not afford to bring our [ __ ] all the way out here absolutely not we have to get it on a boat see in six months Metallica is playing here soon and I sort of want to go yeah I've seen him I've seen Metallica I've never seen Metallica really yeah I never saw my favorite I never saw my favorite lineup of Metallica oh yeah um because Cliff Burton was dead or was that Jason no because Jason had stormed off already um no look I've got a soft spot for Cliff but Jason is my favorite bass player um I mean Robert is certainly the superior base player out of all three of them but uh to me Jason is Metallica yeah don't think I can get Hannah to join

me oh she doesn't like she's like Mexicans yeah I can't believe Hannah's so racist that she won't go on cand just because they replaced the basist with a [ __ ] Mexican no it's also the price yeah when they when I saw them they were 130 bucks and that was the most I'd ever paid for a concert at that time and that was over 10 years ago like the cheap tickets are like 250 [ __ ] me wow you should I mean concert's here are dirt cheap compared to Australia I'll tell you that that that was the other thing about con although I remember I actually now have a bigger understanding of why they're more expensive here well cuz you got to get there for starters in America like when they go on tour they can do like 50 shows you come out to Australia and it's

you got five even when get to Australia like every major City's like hours away and mhm well a lot of B Machine Head now even you know within the us or whatever if if they're a US band like Machine Head for example will pre-sell tickets and they they say like if not if enough of you don't buy them we're not going to play City like it's just we can't they don't make I love that Machine Head in 2019 feel they can make threats like that they're still a big b man they yeah they go to they go to Sydney often enough because like they sell out shows there like and they'll they'll you know they'll not play you know somewhere here because you want to know how much the most expensive ticket is to go see them go on yeah go on $35,000 [ __ ] who does that include like

was a little enamored with it at first however uh I think Early Access has open to everyone now so you guys might be able to check it out um there might only be yeah well on your recommendation I'm dying to play it yeah well look it's it's a work in progress I guess but it is I mean it's a mobile game and it's not at all like Skyrim there's a lot of timers and and and loot boxes and and like you know hints that maybe you should pay real money for things and it's just it's just a little disappointing how did I now like I mean it's beautiful for a mobile game it like when I first launched it I was like oh my God this is going to be [ __ ] amazing and then after a little bit I was like you know what this is a bit

[ __ ] it's just it's not even a game it's like you click on a placee insert money here yeah or insert money or wait 4 hours and come back and then you can click on things again it's it's like that oh yeah that I wasn't expecting that from Elder Scrolls game I thought it might be like uh he you buy the game and then it's a game that's what because they said oh it's you know it's a true Elder Scrolls game it's not it's not yeah but the last hours before I could move yeah what wait which last one the [ __ ] Scrolls Online it's still just shut up with this [ __ ] just [ __ ] make Skyrim 2 give us six scroll six [ __ ] hell yeah well they making what is I don't know what the new one's going to

be there's a elsewhere DLC coming up for um Elder Scrolls Online Elder Scrolls online's all right it's just there are other people there and I don't want them there it's better than Fallout 76 yeah a lot of competition I you said it like this is called Elder Scrolls 76 like just your intonation it was better than Fallout 76 no I I do want to go back and try and play The Fallout bun but I think you can actually play that without having to worry about playing with people yeah I mean there are people to talk to and things you play Elder Scrolls without talking we played a little bit Luke right you we played it and then uh yeah we played it with we had you we had Simon we had uh we had a bit of a team going for a little bit but then yeah I don't know it's just

different time zones yeah it's [ __ ] killer man different time zones I've decid we're going to get rid of time zones one day that'll just be midday here while it's the middle of the night so that we can play video games makes sense anyway SC blad just makes it easier for working out times yeah thumbs down on Scrolls blades for me but check it out and see what you think maybe there's an audience for it out there I just I just installed it very good um yeah I was thought this was going to be a real game it's only like it's less than 100 Meg oh it's one of those annoying ones where you launch it and then it's like I have to install gigabytes of [ __ ] and then you just have to leave it open I hate that oh cuz I thought that was a bit

content so it's just not gonna happen yes but once Luke abolishes time zones maybe we can get some more yeah well just be easier to organize stuff cuz instead of having to try and work out what time is heat you just say hey guys are you free at 11:00 p.m. yeah and we all know what time that is yes well like for example you make it relevant to you for example you didn't know what time we were recording this morning well I mean Matt and I already have that cuz we're 12 hours apart hey Matt I'll see you at 8:30 yeah and I just go I the opposite one to dance one yeah opposite 8:30 and I just got I don't know what day it is well maybe it's not the time zones that's the problem maybe it's the fact that you don't know what day it is that

could possibly be part of and also because it's Easter I've been off work for three days and it is Easter it is uh Easter today do we we you don't get EAS Good Friday or Easter Monday off do you no we don't get religious holidays off here in the US uh generally speaking well I think you can if you want but we don't thought you got the Jewish I thought that was interesting what's up you don't get all the Jewish holidays off I don't think any holiday here are religion based I think they're all we're going to get like secular holidays like the mandatory ones President's Day yes Labor Day that kind of thing yeah which is interesting I I wouldn't have thought you know I know you see America as like a big Christian Nation I

would have thought they'd be all about that but no constitutionally against it austral religious we get all the religious holidays off here but you get one day for each so we get one day at Easter one day at Harry Rya you know what's har r one of the Muslim holidays oh okay yeah cool there one of each just spread it around which I think is pretty fair yeah one day off deeper Valley for India they they get a lot of holidays in uh in Malaysia I know because we had um a team there when I worked in the company I worked from Sydney we had a team in Malaysia and they were always on holiday oh okay sure well I tell you they're not going to have every religious holiday off in Malaysia they're just going to have the

Muslim ones cuz that's the way it works up there oh you know what a curious fact about Malaysia is that no gay people live there according to their prime minister Prime Min of Malaysia was in Germany uh for some kind of I don't know Summit uh this month and um somebody said uh is is Malaysia a you know LGBT friendly destination and he said uh well I mean you could come but you'd be the only gay here no Malaysians are gay right I think uh I think maybe he's he's mist just a guess probably yeah yeah I mean I can't say I know any uh Malaysian gays given

given their attitude they may be scared to say that they are but uh which is which is [ __ ] unfortunate but uh which sucks think he might be wrong maybe mistaken hey it's uh it's it's we've got some birthdays this week it's me Fair Point which day what day is that by the way Tuesday Tuesday right so that would be uh Wednesday for me no Monday for me see I bad at this too uh all right so Luke is going to be uh 38 how old are you don't 39 I just turned 39 then yes I'll be 38 uh the Game Boy turns 30 this year I was about to say wow the Game Boy is older than me and then I remember no

no I'm 38 or 28 yeah you're not you're not younger than the Game Boy but [ __ ] 30 years that's uh yeah I mean made me think back to everyone in high high school everyone in Primary School uh with their game boys and high school as well but uh my first game boy was a Game Boy Advance oh l d no no no it's not l d it means I didn't get the joy of having a game boy or a Game Boy Color yeah see I thought I was smarter than everybody else everybody had a Game Boy and they all sat around and played games together and had fun and I was like I'm going to be smarter than these guys I'm going to get the [ __ ] best console I'm going to get the Atari Links yeah you sat down by yourself and then played one game batteries died the

graphics on the Atari LS were beautiful though if you held it at the exact right angle to your face otherwise you couldn't see a goddamn thing yeah I mean it was California games after I was I was I'll you one better mat I was like [ __ ] you guys on your consoles I'm all about PC gaming and I was like here I am sitting over by myself with my great computer but uh you know couldn't take it outside could I couldn't play it on the bus no but you could play Leisure Suit Larry rest of us certainly could certainly could yeah but did you want to go outside no I wanted to play games yeah the Game Boy I mean I have two game boys now to make up for the fact I didn't have when I was young um I bought them to do music stuff on I was about to say they're not for games

though no you know what I ordered them them uh composing CH Tunes yes and i' yeah I've got Nana Loop and and LS DJ on them um I ordered them when I worked in in neutral Bay it would have been not that long ago maybe five or six years ago um and I ordered them and they showed up and the packaging and the invoice was from the gamesmen remember the gamesman yes they still exist I've actually purched stuff from them couple I got my game Bo from them I didn't even know I bought them off eBay and apparently from the gamesman which was like I don't know if this I think they might still have one or two brick and mortar stores left but they very they got a very big online

presence now there's a danger that no listeners know what the [ __ ] we're talking about no that's fair I just want games Wizards to to reopen because I bought a lifetime membership to their Club um so you know that's still valid I still get chance on the off chance that the the person who worked at the games was in penth is listening the day that I went in with my Atari Links and I said can you please give me an update on eye of the beholder for the Atari Links and he laughed at me and said they're not going to make eye the B of the attir links [ __ ] you mate Google it [ __ ] yeah yeah it never got released but they were [ __ ] working on it [ __ ] you okay well hold on real this inter a bit then I asked I went in and I said can you tell me when it's coming out and he

said they're not making he said it's not coming out he didn't say that he said they're not making they're not making it they W making okay sure didn't say it'll never see the light of day you'll never see it on our shelves I definitely won't ever be able to sell it to you because I'll probably go out of business between now and then yeah you can download it now if you want I I wouldn't recommend it but uh there much better role playing games to play these days but at the time I was excited about it hell yeah the Game Boy is 30 and The Phantom Menace is 20 yeah 20 years since the phantom menace that's making me feel old day 20 years since that happened it's

weird now the more I look on more I look at it stuff online now the more people the more I see that people actually like the Phantom I know a big trend it's a lot of love it's like hipster to [ __ ] like Phantom Menace and all these all these people who went to saw as children they've grown up with it and they love it and now they're sort of old enough to be talking about it and I'm sort of oh yeah there's a lot of everyone hated it yeah see I could criticize but look you're still talking about battle for Endor I love that movie exact see this is the thing whatever movies come out when you're a kid you just [ __ ] it's like Return of the Jedi there are people out there there there are people right there's a camp of people somewhere who are like [ __ ] A New Hope and

nothing else it's the only Star Wars and then there's the ah New Hope and Empire and then after that everything's [ __ ] my C yeah and then there's the oh it's the original trilogy and then you've got now you've got the kids who are like well the orig just the original six for me thanks you know yeah yeah and then you've got new people who are like just The Last Jedi thans yeah then you got people who [ __ ] love the prequels and then watch the you know 70s and early 80s films and go [ __ ] these are boring yeah Pokey special effects weird haircuts lots of mustaches I a lot of mustaches they it's

20 which I guess means uh Jake Lloyd is a man now uh yeah I guess he is I mean he's serving time as an adult in prison so you know is he Star Wars was not good for him it wasn't good for anyone uh we got some other Star Wars news sorry Craig of course we do mate uh the uh the 501st are in the Mandalorian which I guess makes them no longer cosplayers they're just actors now oh wow yeah I mean that's great so but I want to ask okay so number one the 501 are in just about every country in the world and I assume there's not just some big Meetup right it's probably just the the downtown Burbank guys who got to involve is it uh where did they film this uh I guess is the question there probably

would have been a big call out for anyone who wanted to be part of it and then they would have gone through and checked which uniforms and outfits they had because to be a member of the 50 first you have to yeah your you your uniform and armor is meets certain standards yeah that's right so they wouldn't lay in would they luk they wouldn't lay no God indication of the budget of these new Star Wars series that they're putting calls out for cosplayers to fill in the background Stormtroopers well no really if you look for a lot of television shows and movies a lot of the background people don't get paid anyway yeah oh that's not true they're legally required to pay you um I got paid as a child for standing in

the background of stuff okay let's leave what we got paid for as a child aside um yeah but it's not like they're getting paid a fortune and just and if they just could be a background you don't really need great actors for that especially if we're going to be wearing an outfit no but I think that in all the other Star Wars movies all of the costumes were surprised by the costume Department surely it wasn't just like you'll play a stor do you know what they wear can you bring that along on the day go and make that and then come back I mean look if I was a member of the 501st I'd probably be pretty excited about this except I wouldn't I'd be [ __ ] cynical and annoying about it like I am on this show but what do you

mean I would be so excited I probably would I guess you're going to be in Star Wars yeah you're not going to see my face though I I would though I would take my helmet off I'd be like ah Matt I started as a Star Wars cosplayer in a different series once and I was [ __ ] stoked about that oh that's right you did yeah you're were a Jedi wer you yeah and for a day on IMDb if you looked up Darth Vader it had my name there as the actor who played him because Anakin Skywalker links to Darth Vader I was listed to the credits of that show as Anakin Skywalker SC cosplayer and uh it goes by by date so recent no it's not there anymore that's a shame

yeah would you you haven't considered joining the F first now luk cuz I know you you want to be a X-Wing pilot don't you yeah there is the Rebellion version of it around I can't remember the name of it but that's just it's it's a commitment that I'm not prepared to make fair enough you get any achievements for it exactly and you have to leave the house right well uh in other Star Wars news um this is about episode 9 so I mean it's not really spoilers but if you if you're not looking to know anything about episode 9 uh sorry skip ahead actually to me this is a spoiler really well yeah definitely all right well skip ahead if you don't want to hear it but uh this week JJ Abrams was asked about Ray's

parentage and he said there's more to the story yeah which I mean doesn't really surprise me uh this does episode 9 does seem like Recon The Last Jedi yeah just a couple of middle fingers pointing at Ruan Johnson yeah but you watch Ryan is going to come out after this and go on it's always the job of the middle film in a Trilogy to split all the pieces apart and then the last film to put them all back together again it's just it's sounding more and more like The Last Jedi just didn't need to even exist like it didn't go anywhere all it did was kill snoke that's like the only thing they achieved like in the grand scheme of things you know yeah other than that I think this will go down as just a side

quest yeah I mean Luke's gone but he wasn't in the he wasn't in the force awakens anyway so yeah yeah he was just in one he did a cameo in that that was yeah Star Wars Episode 9 the force awakens 2 what I should call it we'll see we could so we could still get a episode 10 and have the JJ [Laughter] Trilogy that would be funny but yeah so any Johnson you're not getting your Trilogy he he is he's working on it he said sorry Ryan yeah it's it's it's it's not going to happen you think they're going to count might be working on it still they haven't told him don't see Disney really saying much about it oh the other and the other news

this week I think got blown out of proportion uh if you actually watch the clip of Kathleen Kennedy talking when they asked her about uh Knights of the Old Republic and it's being spun as Knights of the Old Republic confirmed but what what actually happens in the clip is the guy says the fans love kns Republic do you guys do you ever talk about that and she goes yeah we do talk about it and that's about it like confirmed develop they're developing it which means nothing like no this is I no they they're not unfortunately they're still cuz the Old Republic is still there and that even may be what she's talking about well this is It's Legends now anyway right so none of that stuff no no no there the the video game

The Old Republic still oh that's still Canon that's no I don't know if it's still Canon but that game still exists and people are still playing it and they're working on it still right right yeah okay so it could be just that even she was thinking that they were talking about that oh yeah you know what that's fair yeah yeah who knows what she's talking about lot of credit she even knows what the Old Republic is so I mean come on she [ __ ] what are these she's in charge of Star Wars hope she [ __ ] knows what it is she gets a lot of questions thrown at her and the way people are asking it they're not making it clear what they're asking yeah and so her answers can be twisted any way you want remember there last year or the year before someone was trying to get

out of her are they going to re-release the original trilogy right but they asked in some convoluted way that it wasn't really clear that's what they were talking about Blink twice for yes yeah but yeah no definitely won a night Republic 3 that was a great game [ __ ] yeah man [ __ ] yeah come let let by a way try and do that let him go it's not like they [ __ ] everything else up recently yeah yeah I don't know what to think it's their fault I'm still everyone everyone stopped talking about Anthem but I don't think BioWare is gone they're still going to stick around they've got another at least one more

game in them you granted them but next game flop yeah I uh yeah I'm probably not going to play Anthem anymore I'm thinking I'm going to log back in soon and try and finish the story but the game could just be so much better if just a few minor tweaks yes maybe one day I'll try it again Destiny got a lot better maybe this will too uh right moving away from Star Wars but sort of talking about one of the actors oh yeah have you seen the trailer for the new Chucky yes I have yep I'm liking where this one's going and also the fact that Mark Ham's playing Chucky yeah we're doing the voice of he's awesome I mean I can get behind that for sure yeah but I like the the way that they sort of going with

this new one where it's a whole like Chucky's got access to like all the technology in the house because it's new Twist on it I think it is different I wonder if they'll keep the plot similar to the old one cuz you know the original it's the ghost of a serial killer inside the doll I wonder if that'll still be the thing it seems like maybe not but man movies are kind of coming back around now they got really really soft for a little while but then I don't know movies even kind of like kid and family movies are now starting to get to the point where just kind of shit's happening again I still watching the Umbrella Academy this week have you seen that yeah I liked it a lot yeah it's [ __ ] good but I thought it was like a like a

little kids show and then but like people getting their heads crushed and [ __ ] like you know it's like yeah that little that kid reminds me of you by the way thank you yeah thank you the kid's a [ __ ] great actor yeah he's good he's the best one um yeah the new Child's Play uh it's got Aubrey Plaza in it I don't know if I like her in things I haven't seen her in a lot and I feel like I like or Plaza yeah okay she's all right yeah I don't know why I mean I I shop there but uh I don't know I think I was like oh I think I I think she annoys me but I don't think I've actually even seen her in anything so sorry it doesn't annoy me

and I but I'm not smitten with her either I think usually people fall into either one of the two camp s right he just there that's probably the worst review you can get as an actor he's just there yeah yeah I know we'll see uh she seemed good in the trailer yeah m c I'm so happy he's getting work now yeah and hopefully he's going to be in Guardians 3 now that [ __ ] James guns back hopefully that all comes back around oh man I never thought of that yes we we like it when markets drop work we do before we go there's a show on Netflix uh called black summer that I just wanted to mention briefly I don't know if you guys seen that is that the zombie one yeah it is yeah Hannah started watching that today uh it's good

it's it's a zombie show so it's it's yeah I know these are and these are fast 10 years ago I've been very interested in that before every show was a zombie show I thought the same thing but it's actually it's really good it's like it's more 28 Days Later than than it is yeah I skipped it I skipped over it but uh no it's and it's a it's very um it's a very grounded kind of story about the people uh it's good okay I liked it it does raise some interesting questions about zombies that uh just because of the way they the way they they handle the story and and I guess 28 lat is 28 Days Later in a way if this is an infection right and when you die become a zombie presumably anybody who's in the

infection zone is infected and then you can't you can't rescue them so they all [ __ ] like that's not the plot of this of the show but that's that's where my brain going how the infection spreads like but no if if if you if you're if you die and you come back as a zombie that means you're infected yes yes so that I mean by definition die yeah yeah but if you don't die that means you're still infected and then it just means they're going to resc you but depends on how the infection spread no it doesn't yeah well if if I die and I'm not infected I don't you don't come back just because I'm in the area that everyone's infected doesn't mean I'm infected yeah I suppose it just raises some questions but I guess it's fiction

so whatever yeah I mean my question has always been how do you kill something that's already dead oh he shooting the head Dan yeah no I don't I know how you kill but I mean what level of death are you at at that point and could you get a virus where when you kill a zombie they come back as some kind of other zombie Uber zombie watching it Jenna pointed out she said how is it possible that there could be a zombie apocalypse and there are people who don't know you have to shoot them in the head like how is that possible yeah that's right no you're right in fact I've been watching a show with zombies this week and that same thing is uh is something the characters are guilty of I say zombies they're more like deadites but I have finally caught up on Ash versus Evil

Dead Season 2 and I know there's already a season 3 but I hadn't seen season 2 yet and now I have and great gets stuck in his ass man you guys had told me that there's a there's an episode early on that has something that uh when it happens I'll know it and I was like so every little yeah how Darkness y y y yeah and there's a throwback to that I mean they don't get too specific but uh that happens yeah I thought it was good you now I got to watch season 3 I still haven't watched it yeah me neither oh you got to watch season three it's it's I don't think quite as good as it but it ends strong okay you know what else ends strong the Afterparty ends strong and
