welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy this may surprise you a little but I'm not quite prepared for this week's podcast okay and I know normally I come in I've got everything prepared I'm set up I've got energy I've got stories in the spreadsheet and everything yeah yeah this week just no don't have it this week nothing uh I I have to blame it on the outer worlds cupb is be the outer Worlds the outer worlds is out it is out and yeah it's it's it's it's Fallout right space Fallout space fall

out well you okay sold all right yeah is it is it good is the question I'm enjoying it I'm enjoying it there's a few things um one of the things I quite liked about the Fallout games and Scar games was the wandering the maps and going off and discovering things yes don't have that magic in this game quite as much oh really cuz you know how you'd be wandering around and you'd see like a little arrow points on your map and you go I haven't discovered that and then you I'll just Veer off and go over there yeah yeah well this one's not quite there because you're sort of flying around around planets and stuff the the maps are sort of a little bit smaller so you don't have that yeah right of missing with that but apart from that I'm loving it h all right well it's on

uh Game Pass I discovered so I have it yeah yeah so you should install it and play it yes I will I will if I get time I haven't played any games this week really why not I just don't have time that did sort of hamper me a bit of been on call for work and things so yeah life gets in the way of fun things that's right it does speaking of Dan's not here oh yeah that's right he's off having a life as well y yep he is so so where is he he's list Sri Lanka I believe and Luke's prepared nothing so yeah he prepared to talk about the outer world all right well I'm going to check it out is uh so it's it's in space it's for that it's in space is a character creation fun can I make can I make a good

character there sort of more so preset characters oh you probably you can play around a little bit but honestly I finally learned you don't need to worry about that because you don't look at yourself the entire game I know but what always happens is I you do though in cutscenes I assume is is that still the case or no uh well yeah there are cut yes you do but really CU spend like hours the thing I hate is when I spend ages and ages and ages making a character in The Character Creator Mass Effect was really bad at this and then you make this character and you're like that looks cool and then as soon as you get to the first cut scene and you see your character talking it looks like an idiot like you just look so stupid and it drives me crazy for the rest of the

game and then fall out 4 was the same my character looked like such a fool I don't know what yeah no I finally learn not to worry too much about that I basically go pretty much default face give him green eyes red hair and away I go all right very good but yeah it's sort of does have a lot of similarities to Fallout like there's the perk system oh yeah there's and you got your companions if you want yeah and yeah this is this is the game that people wanted last year for Fallout 76 right right is there Fallout 76 news this week ah there is um well Fallout 76 well Beth decided they want more money right so they've brought out a new

subscription fee which is sort of you know how when we were playing Conan Exiles how we created that server yes well you can now do that in Fallout 76 so you can have a server for you and your friends okay all right except for it's 13 bucks a month okay you if you were to buy it so say you set it up no one else can play unless you're online right oh okay so like the M way Minecraft hosted used to work yeah yeah there's also the other thing of when you when you've hosted it it's not just it's private to anyone on your friends list okay so you might try and go hey I'm going to set this up and just be like we' set up and say it's us three yeah but anyone then someone else sees

you're online they oh they're online I just jump in and join them that's weird yeah I mean I mean it's also I I like sure I would want my friends to play but then also yeah if it was if I wanted it to be more specific than that and I couldn't yeah that's weird yeah you I guess a lot of people add I I do have friends on Xbox that I actually don't know who they are yeah so that happens they could just rock up and join your game and I think it's only for you and like six people or something H so does it run on someone's Xbox uh or is it hosted I believe like why do I have to be online I believe it's sort of you're hosting it so you've got to be playing for anyone else to play yeah well that's dumb it is did they just not think about this that's so

stupid also I'm trying to work out who's still playing what well did they improve the game at all I don't know I haven't played it in over nearly a year yeah right like I've sort of got it played through the sort of main story got up to the bit where it's hey it's time to grind and grind and grind and went I'm going to uninstall you there was a period where I was convinced that I was going to I was going to end up playing this game because it's Fallout and even though everyone's complaining about it I'm GNA end up trying it out no didn't happen well I think it is meant to be getting oh it's getting an update which I think might make it better next year where it's uh going to add NPCs [ __ ] so you got NPCs it doesn't have NPCs now no what yeah no that's that's the whole

thing this game is just so empty there's no NPCs the way you got all your missions was basically you'd log onto a computer or a robot would talk to you you know what I knew that but I didn't realize there just weren't so the is empty yeah except for just players except for things trying to kill you and other players that's so weird yeah why did they release this now for money presumably is the answer for money well I think cuz remember God damn it Elder Scrolls did okay yeah but they had NP NPC yeah that was like you could people living their lives you could talk to people with this one that's not a bad game but yeah fall 76 no one hm yeah no I've played El the Scrolls I still jump in from time to time that's

not a bad game yeah I keep I keep seeing it there and I keep meaning to but yeah for the next sort of few weeks all it's going to be for me the out of Worlds y yeah well I got to finish uh we got to play more Borderlands 3 Jenna and I uh cuz we don't get time to game that much and I assume you finished Borderlands 3 by now oh yes definitely I've already moved on yeah yeah so where we we're still towards the beginning there's still some things I want to do with it but I've sort of finished the main story so I've actually just uninstalled I'm going to wait for the DLC and then I'll go back into it well well hang on but there the seasonal stuff it's happening right now you know about that right oh yeah I don't really go in for that okay no achievements never mind

then oh sure okay well there's some Halloween content for for the listeners yeah in uh in B lands 3 cuz it's Halloween man do they [ __ ] did did they do Halloween properly in Australia yet no and I don't think they ever will man I and I know I'm particularly lucky cuz of where I live here uh cuz we went to Salem yesterday and Man Halloween is just great it's just so great and it's when I was a kid surely surely this kids want Halloween right did you want Halloween when you were a kid I did but yeah never got to experience it and now I don't I think it's something that unless it's ingrained in your culture like it is in America you're not going to get it's not going to get off the ground you might

get why you might get Halloween parties in Australia but you're not going to have the whole Trick and Treat thing I I tried remember trying trick or- treat with my brother when we were kids I don't know how old we were probably early I was probably my early teens and then we tried trick- or- treat and people just told us go away we don't celebrate that here yeah that's an American tradition and I was like just give me some candy dick and then they're like don't call it candy it's lollies but yeah and I think that's the problem like you're not American and I was like [ __ ] you and we egg their house like older people are going to have Halloween parties cuz it's fun to dress up but the whole thing about Halloween which I think makes it such this is coming from

the Halloween expert Halloween is Halloween Australia is for old people you're right this is from the Halloween experts I'm the expert on Halloween in America as well but like people start like carving pumpkins putting up decorations cuz it's leading up to kids coming around and but yeah like the kids never show up yeah no I've never I've never had trick-or-treaters in in Sydney I've had people once or twice I remember once in penth and I think once I've been in CRA I mean we don't get them here either but that's because you leave down a creepy driveway where they'll likely get murdered exactly the kids aren't coming up my driveway yeah unless I I guess I can put up signs like a big neon sign that says free candy this way and

then actually I could make a we really should do this but the problem okay see now I'm talking myself into it but I'm also talking myself out of it at the same time I could make a really cool haunted driveway right put up a bunch of Halloween decorations and stuff but I'm pretty sure it' be wasted cuz kids aren't coming up this way I live in the middle of nowhere for reference yeah listeners this is not the they want to go to well populated areas cuz it's all about going to as many houses as you can yeah yeah you're right but uh yeah Salem's great we went to uh the Salem Night Market it's in the Old Salem Pioneer Village tradition like well yeah and it's like the the Pioneer Village is basically Salem as it was in like the

1600s um and then they had a market in there and it was you know basically the gothest thing uh in the universe it was really great and we drank a bunch of hot apple cider cuz it was [ __ ] freezing now do does it actually happen on like Halloween is it actually still the 31st is that when people are going out or they going on the weekend it is yeah well I think um Thursday is Halloween and Salem will be very busy that night I'm sure uh but I won't be there cuz I have work the next day um but when we were here and we didn't have work cuz when I first moved to the US and um my view you're allowed to you're allowed to sit quietly in the country and do nothing else that's right I was

that exactly that's how it was for 6 months is like y you can come and live here but don't touch anything and so uh so while that was happening we went up there on Halloween and it was huge and that was it would have been a week night so yes it is the 31st but also it was very busy last night and uh because it's the Saturday before and we're actually we were walking around and it was so busy that we were like you know what do you want to come back next week just because we really like Salem uh when all these people I like Salem Salem's a nice place oh it is yes it's a nice little town nice little Seaside ever go go to the witch Museum yeah say tell everybody it's stupid but I've been taught twice and it is it's stupid but oh my God it is fun they have these diaramas that are like

uh it's it's just a bunch of like mannequins set up probably like in 30 years and then you sit in the you sit on the floor in the middle and there like a pentagram on the floor and it lights up a diarama to tell you the story of the Salem wit Tri great really it's it's like it's really dodgy awesome so yeah a good time well I like I like Halloween and uh and then Thursday uh we're going to be uh hopefully we're going to be up in Providence at Jen sister's place and hopefully there will be trick-or-treaters there so that's the plan will you have to identify yourself or will I have to identify myself just the children around oh I get you I get you no I'll be I'll be in oh then that's fine then yeah yeah

exactly oh speaking of things being delayed we did a little while ago you're thinking about going back to Salem again which I'm I'm going to claim it's delaying your trip even though you've already been y I mean this is now become a labor Segway go on how I do it uh did you hear uh Watchdogs is being delayed oh I did yeah Watch Dogs Legion yeah yeah Ubisoft has sort of decided to just write this financial year as off as terrible and push everything back to try and make next year good oh that's why is that really why that's that's actually part of the reason they they really want to really polish their games to make sure they're great for next gen they said that I was going to say okay so that they said they wanted to polish the game I that didn't seem

like something that you want to say like no no no the game's good it's done it's just this year was so [ __ ] for us that we just we just rather like cash in on were hoping that uh evidently Ghost Recon did not do well and it sort of bomb for them so yeah that sort of that's okay that's interesting I mean I was going to say I like those games but then I didn't play it and I'm the same like I I don't mind that game but I'm also yeah I haven't I haven't picked it up and I probably won't for a while cuz wildlands was [ __ ] great and I remember remember the original uh F was it future war fighter or whatever the one on the the one where youi and Dave played of the futuristic ones and Dave was sort of like doing it

right and sneaking around and then just you and me on the other side of the map just to get firefights playing it like it was Doom we did not do well no no and he got [ __ ] that was a really good game uh advanced war fighter is that the what I'm thinking of I don't know oh yeah but uh no cuz I en cuz it had that very cinematic uh cinematic feel and you know with the music and everything was really good that was yeah I enjoyed the last one this one yeah probably just not going to get until it goes on sale maybe I like I like Ubisoft games way more than I than I think some I mean I've acknowledged this now but I realized you know like uh Far Cry 5 sucks me in uh Watch Dogs 2 uh I

enjoy um I enjoy the division even though I I've skipped the division 2 just because of time constraints but I think I like Ubisoft games quite a lot oh yeah and I'm tempted to play you played uh Assassin's Creed Origins right yes um Origins was okay Odyssey I love Odyssey was great I recommend Odyssey well I'm a weirdo this is literally my the driving force behind me playing games a lot lately this is the reason I played Far Cry uh the soundtrack for Assassin's Creed Origins is [ __ ] sick it popped on my Shuffle on Spotify and I was like what is this and man it's [ __ ] rad and it it made me want to play the game okay and I could probably get that one cheap yeah oh yeah definitely but but but I do have the out of Worlds yeah and that's pretty much

sort of nearly kind of free bad worlds game pass but uh do you know I still don't know how my game pass thing you know how so so I have I'm not I'm not sure how much time left on my Xbox Live subscription right probably like I think I might have bought like a 36 Monon thing and then I got that popup that said do you want game pass for a dollar for the rest of your subs destion I think that was the deal right and actually just get just upped you to that so I think I have free game pass for like a year and a bit but I'm not sure I don't know how to check oh okay and I can't really I don't really know what the terms were I was just like yeah that

sounds like something I want very easy to go check on your Xbox you just go to settings and you can che check subscriptions and it'll tell you when you're going to renew and it'll tell me each one yeah okay just cuz I'm curious how long I've got it for but yeah I think I've paid up till next year year as well yeah it's just cuz I think I signed up for a thing that was like if I can renew for like 30 bucks or something you know what you know what I should check this I remember I remember something popping up on my Xbox and me being like doing the maths in my head like like this is really cheap all right and then I completely can't remember what it was but no it's it's so worth at this Subscription Service yeah I noticed uh Observer left

yeah Game Pass which is a shame cuz I actually wanted to play that but I didn't so that's my problem so and that's I I owned it I've purchased it and then it came out and Game Pass it's I left Game Pass I still have not played it must be good then I've heard good things oh yeah I lied I have been playing a game a little what have you been playing Untitled Goose game oh on the switch how is it I've been hearing great things it's [ __ ] fun man it's like weird and and can be frustrating but it's fun it's the and listeners you've probably seen memes of this thing it's a game where you're a goose and you basically have to harass people you have a checklist it's like an O sort of open world you have to unlock

the next area or whatnot but you start out in a like in someone's backyard and then you have a checklist of it's basically you being an [ __ ] to people and then when you finish the list you usually unlock like the next area like to get to more people to harass yeah this game people have been looking forward for for a while and it sort of did take off do you know it was made in Australia I did yeah yeah yeah it's just like a I think I read an article that said that they were surprised by how popular it was cuz it's just like a fun little game but it actually it's a lot of fun and like you can uh you can do some funny stuff so you run around you can like pick things up and people will

chase you to you know you can steal the farmer's rake and he'll chase you to get the rake back and then you can sneak up behind people and honk you're a goose and then scare them and like make them like make him Hammer his finger and stuff like that it's fun I'm holding out until it comes out on Xbox is it coming out on Xbox yes yeah I guess with the success I don't that there was no plan for it originally but yeah after it did so well they've gone we can sell this to more people let's let's do it yeah you know what you know what it be good money so let's do that that's cynical but no it's I don't think yeah I'm not saying this in a bad way they've learned that they've learned that they made a good game and so now

they might as well commit to why not they just ped it over and yeah we can introduce more people to our game yeah I'm not saying this in a bad way I'm sorry I didn't mean to spin it that way I'm just kidding so yeah I've been playing a bit of that and I've been looking at but I haven't done it because just looking because it doesn't make any sense for me to do this but Witch of Three is out on Swit and I know that I said like I wanted it and and they came through with it and I probably should buy it because I mean obviously they did it because I said I wanted it so I kind of owe them but I don't have time to play Wich that's a huge game so I think if I am

one day going away for a very long time yeah traveling and you going to be sitting on a train for 14 hours but I also I mean I still have Skyrim on there which I mean I could play that kind of infinitely so well speaking of The Witcher have you heard one of predictions for uh uh cyber Punk they're talking about selling 20 million copies in the first year 20 million which is huge I know that it's I know it's like trending to be like the biggest thing of all time that's pretty prediction out there which if you look at I think which of three took I think four years to hit 20 million really I think everyone's so hyped for cyber Punk that yeah cuz it looks [ __ ]

amazing and people are still a little bit upset about the whole customization of your character a little bit well what are they upset about well the fact that they're sort of saying that the whole thing even cutcenes are going to be through your eyes like be first person sure sure sure sure people are a little bit upset by that but you can see yourself in the menus menus and stuff yeah exactly so you can see how bad you look and then just experience it yeah I don't know people get annoyed about weird [ __ ] they do I guess I mean although I got annoyed well that's like the opposite problem of what I had before you know that they've actually solved it yeah because when I cuz in the one situation where my character looks good which is just like front on in the

[ __ ] character creator tool perfect yep that's all you have to look at now you don't have to then get into the game go oh my nose is quite big and my eyes you know what it is it's yeah the Character Creator tools they need to let make it so you can hit a button and see what your character talking looks like I think that's the trick because once the mouth moves and you go oh God no what have I done no problem solved just don't have to worry about it don't don't ever show it cyber Punk comes out next year March or something April ah they it's a birthday present yep for both of us thanks thanks C ail project red oh yeah that's right April's a good month yeah so yeah it's coming at end which I don't know I'm still a little shocked it's actually coming out on this

generation of consoles yeah I thought I was going to be buying a new Xbox for it yeah apparently not that surprised me too but that's fine I guess I mean we don't have to wait as long I'm happy I I can't decide if I want to get a 1x that seems stupid uh yeah I don't think there's much point in getting a 1x now I think you're better off just waiting because this time next year we'll be talking about the new Xbox yeah no I know but cyber punk I could play it in 4k and and and it would run faster I assume well just maybe you get lucky in your Xbox will break before then and you'll need to replace it maybe I can drop something on it I do you know what I wish I could do is replace the internal drive on my Xbox with a [ __ ] SSD ah yes I really wish I could I wish

I could do that cuz I can plug in an external one and it helps a bit but I don't know it' be nice to just be able to replace the internal one but you can't they'll get grumpy with me if I do that in future ones you might be able to yeah you can do it on a PlayStation there spoke there has been Rumors in the past about like next console going to be a bit more upgrade friendly huh like just okay well even if you look at the old um the old 360 you're able to change the hard drive yeah yeah the hard drive I can understand I I mean I can see why they don't want you to swap out stuff like the RAM and all that kind of stuff CU then it becomes a variable and they can't it it's harder

to uh test guess games if you know what the hardware is then it's easier to that's why games can be quite a normally would be a lot more buggy on PC over Xbox because yeah software in general we cannot test every configuration out yeah yeah that's why uh I think traditionally Apple had a better reputation software wise CU people used to blame like Windows for problems with drivers and things for the for the PC yeah where's actually it's not not really their fault it's the guy's making the drivers for the your video card or whatever whereas on the Mac there's only one video card so well there's two these days but yeah yes all right well I guess I'll wait cuz I want I want another 1X as

well but I'm going to wait maybe I'll check I'll see what happens on Black Friday maybe I can get one for like cheap when I'm buying another oh was it was Canadian Thanksgiving that just passed hasn't it uh I don't know I remember hearing Thanksgiving so I think it was Canadian we going talk about the we going talk about the Canadians here they're like what an hour drive from you no they're up there who knows what they're up to who knows we keep an eye on them but we don't talk about them we want to scare the kids they just they could be massing at the border for all I know don't want to talk about it all right yeah Thanksgiving is next month

next month okay yeah and then Black Friday that's creepy Black Friday is weird man the the CU of the sales where people will murder each other yeah man it seems crazy where you can just go online yeah I'll just sit online and look for stuff like that even our TV we did we did that you know that classic American thing where you buy a [ __ ] HD TV on um or 4K TV on Black Friday but I just bought it online and went and picked it up and actually even that was a [ __ ] nightmare Best Buy was a like yeah cannot imagine it but yeah isn't it some like that they'll have like like super super good deal but

they'll have like four television for this ridiculous price yeah yeah so you literally have to have to crush someone to death if you want it and hey maybe that's worth it I don't think it is well I don't like hurting people you don't you have to hurt him make it quick yeah I still might pass yeah fair enough I'll pick one up for you okay that'll be great I'll need one in about a year's time oh yeah yep so yeah I'll check maybe maybe if there's a very very good deal on an Xbox One X it have to be a very good deal because yeah I I like I do like my 1X but that's I'm also trying to justify uh switch light is it switch light is that

what it's called why do you you've got a switch though I know that's why I'm trying to justify I I I I I said trying yeah I really don't think it's possible I could not think of any reason like oh it's portable both yeah I'm trying to find yeah know I'm trying to find a jacket that that the current one won't fit in the pocket of but the light will there you go Justified no I know yeah sorry I I can't even it's like oh yeah it's portable but I don't take it anywhere it's always plugged into the TV so unless I travel in which case it doesn't make a huge amount of difference so um there's been some more Marvel movie Shenanigans this week oh they have Happ last week well I think now we talked about last week uh did we

talk about this scy came out and said that Marvel movies aren't Cinema yeah yeah and then and then uh and then since then he said that their theme park rides they're not Cinema and people got upset with him and then I don't know who gives a [ __ ] what he thinks but uh Francis Ford Copa has come out and said that he thinks Marvel movies are despicable which is I think even stronger than sces H and he I don't know and then SC came out and say some more stuff and basically what it boils down to is I think they just they see them as like a different kind of film to what they used to do and that they're right they're right and it's true but yeah that's people have moved away from the films they make but these are the guys who like Copa in particular

right was heavily involved in in creating what was the original summer blockbuster Star Wars yeah like so it's not like this is new like their friends George Lucas and Steven Spielberg invented this [ __ ] I feel like and I don't think Marvel movies are any different to that I think they're just the next iteration on that so I do feel like this is just you know your cranky old grandpa yeah yelling at the kids cuz they don't they don't like what the kids are into but whatever also they don't have to watch him who gives a [ __ ] no like you can still go out and watch whatever you want make whatever you want we're not stopping you from doing that yeah and sc's made the Irishman and you know I'm sure it's probably going

watched it yet but I'd like to and it's getting really good reviews and you know what it's not like a Marvel movie and that's fine cuz not all movies have to be the [ __ ] same no and not everybody has to like every movie so tell you what C I'm not going to like your movie on principle [ __ ] you how dare you say that about it no but yeah I think we've just we've moved away from that time cuz remember we have but not I mean but no but there's still a place for those movies there still is but it's yeah we've it's everything's different now like it used to be you'd have your summer blockbuster and all these movies through the year but that was you had like one shot you get to see a movie and then you wouldn't get to watch it again for a year's time at least yeah where it

might come on television or yeah the the thing I think scori is his concern that he clarified later he thinks that studios are now looking at the bottom line right how much money you can make and when you look at how much something like Avengers endgame pulls in then how can you compete with a small independent kind of a smaller film because the cinemas when they could put Avengers endgame in all of their [ __ ] theaters why would they bother putting any other movie you know what I mean yeah I understand so but then that's that's about what people want like no point getting grumpy about it that's what people want yeah like we could they if Cinema you they go out and just put independent movies on people

aren't really going to go that's what I'm saying like the reason that people are paying money to go see Avengers end games cuz people want to see Avengers end games not because the cinemas are [ __ ] keeping you out oh there's nothing on except this Avengers movie I guess I'll go see that yeah yeah yeah and then well sc's new film is not even in theaters it's in it's on Netflix which I guess probably has something to do with his feelings on this cuz I'm sure and and you know we talked recently again about the thing with Tarantino where he he got edged out by Star Wars y but I'm really thinking like Cinema isn't what it used to be and I'm sort of agreeing with them that's not that's not the be people people consume media a lot

different now they want to go to the movies for well this what I think anyway and I'm always right they want to go for the big Blockbuster the explosion the big fights on the big and you want I think for a movie where you sort of more of a story and you have to pay more attention you're better watching that at home I agree somewhat I still like going to the movies like for example I'm really glad that I went and saw Joker at the movies even though I really I could have watched that at home but I do like the theater experience H and actually had a that that particular experience that joker was a good one but sometimes theater experience is [ __ ] these days Because unless it's a big loud Blockbuster like

Avengers end game the other people there piss me off because they don't there's no stop opening chip packets no it's yeah the the the kind of I don't know what's the word the the reverence people used to have for the uh for the movie theat has gone yeah it used to be that everyone was quiet and you know now yeah you can actually just go in and people yeah they would just be on their phone the entire thing and yeah no and like talking on the phone oh really had that bad yeah who actually uses their phone as a phone I'm like you [ __ ] paid to be in here to watch the movie shut up like what are you doing well I talk to your friends afterwards there's two more movies I know I'll be seeing at the movies this year one's actually this week Gemini man

no no no one's going to see Gemini man I'm talking about the Terminator J oh [ __ ] yeah [ __ ] Linda ham that sort of snuck up on me yeah it apparently it's uh the best one since Terminator 2 which let's be honest it's not that hard to no no you're not really setting the bar super high not that we've made a better Terminator movie I reckon I could we have a podcast so we could say what we like but yeah that comes out this Thursday so on Halloween oh [ __ ] huh yeah no I'd like to see that even just a Linda Hamilton and Anie back together in a movie uh and what's the other one uh Star Wars which I've already got my ticket to to the midnight screening y I bought one hey this the

thing I learned this week uh I was confused because uh I feel like this happened with The Last Jedi but I didn't really think about it too much but this one I was like I want to go midnight screening it's the last of the Skywalker Saga you know blah blah try to justify it cuz it's fun they don't have them here because what uh I can't find an exact reason for this but the it it it the movie releases at 600 p.m. on what is it the 21st whatever the date I think it's the 20th yeah 20th it comes out oh hang on what are my tickets for are you Wednesday the 19th or yes yes it is it is so uh rise of Sky Walker [ __ ] I bought tickets give me my tickets didn't use movie

and it's going to whatever it's 15 minutes lat it's like someone's if someone bursts in and spoils the ending well anyway oh so since we're talking about it the trailer's come out right yep and I feel like the trailer confirms quite a few of the spoilers that I read so uh H I'm not going to say I don't want to say anything I don't want to spoil anything um but I'm actually I'm actually excited to see this movie I'm now just very confused about when this movie is set because at the end of The Last Jedi it was really making out like the resistance is completely destroyed there's like 20 guys left and so I'm getting the impression it's going to be like another 20 years in the future when they've managed to rebuild and they can go back to war but I know they keep

saying that this is not what's happened but it honestly looks it's like you could just pretend The Last Jedi doesn't exist and then just watch the force awakens in this that's what it seems like because it like the trailer literally has Ray gone going back to everyone keeps saying they know who I am which is a thread everybody was waiting for to follow up on and then Last Jedi kind of killed it off and then it's just like no it's back like cuz yeah that's what they like in uh in the force of awakens yeah they go they kept ask like who's the girl and it always be then a cutaway yeah and then that kind of dri up well I mean because in the story she was she was not she was with Luke most of the time in last J so make any sense for people to be there wer wasn't anyone

else around unless the PO were wondering who she is but um yeah it seems like that's that's a thread that's come back y uh this is not a spoiler because everybody knows Palpatine's back okay what is he though I think he is it sounds like he is but yeah they haven't shown him and then it's also weird cuz even the ships that they're showing are all sort of old Star Destroyers not new ones and I know and there's a y wings and stuff it's just like [ __ ] forget all that other stuff we're going back it's back it's it's Return of the Jedi 2 I'm okay with that I think I am too which is I hate saying it because it sounds like I shouldn't be but I think I am yeah I think I am I think it really need get impression that they we just forget Ry

Johnson's movie and have return into Jedi people like that he's ewox again yeah oh God if they're on Ed they're going to have to be Ewoks I don't think well well it's also confusing like is that I want I don't want to accidentally say a spoiler because I'm not sure what I've there's things that I've read that uh that I think are just official things that they've put out but still might be consider to people I'm still trying to decide cuz I'm just going off the trailer so I don't know anything but it looks like they're fighting on the Death Star but then yeah I don't remember there being that much water on indor it is called moon this is just from the trailer Dan remember when the first trailer came out

Dan said something about it looked like they were fighting on a boat and then I can't not see that now so it actually does look like they're fighting on a boat to me yeah so I don't now I don't know what's going on look let's just wait we got what two months and we will know yeah Y and then they can start working on Rogue one two yeah electric Baloo um and then the uh the pre-sales for for this one have broken records well at the time that this article was written it had almost doubled end game which is [ __ ] insane when you think about it how does that work that makes no sense it's crazy right cuz endgame was already like apparently like the most anticipated most [ __ ] pre-booked movie of all time and they've almost doubled it but Cinema's

dead no it's not not though only people only want to see Marvel movies and Star Wars that's the problem remember all other movies are dead you used to see yeah used to see him complain about a lot um years ago where oh pirate pirating is killing cinemar and they're losing money but then every week oh this record's broken this record's broken they've made this much money but it's only these movies I think that's what these guys are complaining about it's only Star Wars in Marvel ex we make a Star Wars I'll give you Mone yeah they don't want to make that kind of movie though um another offering to the uh the the the gods of failed movies is apparently Gemini man this week uh set to lose over 75 million because no one's going to see it

because no one gives a [ __ ] about this High frame rate stuff and other apart from that the movie is not very good um I think Will Smith I don't think he could be a lead actor anymore ooh I'm going to call it cuz if you look at all the stuff that he's been the star in hasn't been that good but then if you look at Suicide Squad he was the best thing in it yeah that's right and it was It was supposed to be everybody else's kind of thing yeah so I think he just needs to maybe step back and just be the side character not the star think he's a sidekick now I think he is damn I'm just putting it out there I may not I may not be right but H well this is uh angle's worst reviewed film of all

Amazon Stan Netflix I think I'm going to have to I have to cut one of them I can't justify for subscription Services I've got Netflix Hulu shutter that might be it right now and then I'm going to add Disney plus to the to the pile Oh and I mean I have Amazon but I have Amazon Prime yeah so just get Amazon I will be doing I'm probably just going to do the yearly subscription for Disney yeah just because I'd probably like to do that with all of them just because ends up being cheaper and it's just easier get it out of the way yeah yeah yeah a lot of them don't off that though no and I don't know why I don't know either take my money now yeah take all my

money yeah I I've thinking about this though I've come up with an idea for the world go on okay so what happens is everyone just gives a percentage of their money to dis I think they do at this point I think they do but yeah so so what there's just a little check box you can put on your job to go entertainment so you check that and then you just get all streaming services and they just take percentage of your pay and it's just the same percentage for everyone so the Richer are paying a bit more the poor are paying a bit less and everyone gets to have a nice time okay and he just come tell you pay you don't even notice it FL just garnish your wages yeah yeah so if that comes starts to happening in

the future I brought it up first so you get royalties for the idea y all right uh there's a brief little article here uh that I thought was funny M uh Kea Sutherland famous famous actor Kea Sutherland yeah uh he seems to be trying to claim Well's he's apologizing for so I guess he's kind of claiming some sort of involvement in the invention of the mullet what because well and this is fair um they became famous uh through the 80s right molets are pretty big in the 80s yeah although they did start earlier than that but basically what what he's saying is in The Lost Boys his character had uh David in the L Bo had a mullet and the reason for it was that Joel Schumaker the

director wanted to have long hair mhm uh and he did uh and so he kind of dyed it very the white you know bleached it y the white color and uh s didn't like it he said he he said I look like a wrestler it was awful but Billy Idol had just on the scene and Billy Idol looked really cool and badass and so he was like well he's got the white hair that I've got so I could look cool like Billy Idol but Joel Schumacher wanted him to have long hair so he went for like a combo the Billy Idol you know kind of spiky look at the front and then the long hair at the back and uh and he thinks he's partially responsible for creating the mullet okay I I don't think C he might be could be a little responsible for making it as

popular as it was especially with with kind of yeah Goths yeah but I could I could not imagine I could not imagine a goth walking around with a mullet these days no maybe ironically I wish I could have a I did have a mullet when I was a kid I'm working on my skullet yeah Deon towns used to the best scet it's it's it's it's coming it is a few more years giving up on my hair I'm giving up on my hair it's if I when I'm wearing my hat people think I actually have quite long hair you take it off and they're like put it back on yeah so I've got one article here that I definitely want to talk to you

about I'm uh I'm interested to hear your opinion on this um there's a man recently uh pull this up I can get the facts straight because we're all about the facts there we go this guy kept getting drunk right right so he he was pulled over one night H and they gave him a a a like a breath Li I guess uh and then a blood test and his blood alcohol level was2 oh what that's that's really that's you should be dead and so they they arrested him and he and then he actually he was in the hospital and he kept telling everybody I don't drink and they didn't believe him because his spot alcohol level was2 uh and he had had issues for years with brain fog and he would feel

depressed after eating right okay so uh his aunt believed him and said now you haven't been drinking but you're drunk that's pretty weird uh so she he he went off to to get some research done and it turns out this guy had this thing they're calling Auto Brewery syn syndrome I can't even pronounce Auto Brewery syndrome I can't say that word h no uh he basically had um yeast in him in his gut like so much of it that if he ate a lot of carbohydrates he would just get [ __ ] wasted that sounds amazing not if you don't know about it yeah but once you know about it and you can plan that's that's great so they think that it started when he took a run

of antibiotics and it kind of [ __ ] up his his kind of internal biome the way he died yeah his his gut bacteria or whatever and so this this stuff grew and it just kind of like infested him and it had I guess presumably very few symptoms other than if he ate like a pizza drunk he would get [ __ ] off his face point two point two is yeah that's that's [ __ ] drunk man yeah like point 05 is the legal limit in Australia which is not which is 05 is not a lot 0.1 is yeah you you you're happy0 Z .15 is you're drunk like very drunk point two is yeah you're dying I think

point three I think if you go to three you're dead 08 or higher is considered legally impaired mhm so that's uh yeah yeah see was right so ree re researchers found uh I'm not going to read the Latin brewers yeast in his poops and uh and they watched his blood alcohol levels rise after eating carbohydrates they diagnosed him with abs and gave him antifungal medication and fixed it for him the drugs originally were not enough and uh he uh he would if he drank some soda or ate like ate some pizza he would uh he would flare up again and he would get drunk uh his blood Al level could Spike as high as4 what yeah that's that's crazy like cuz

that's getting close to half your blood alcohol God that was alcohol no no no point point oh yes not 50 no yeah yeah point4 sorry for some reason that always gets me yeah still too much I'm not drunk I haven't been drunk in ages it's you've been eating pizza well now I noed I'm going to start eating more pizza and see if I can get it to work just eat brewers yeast try and get infected and then it's not my fault like it's not my fault I haven't had a drink in in [ __ ] years drunk all the time but yeah I thought this was fascinating and they think this is underdiagnosed because uh people don't know this is a thing and also probably don't think to checked for it yeah well and yeah and it really depend on how bad

it was cuz yeah so if you eat bread and then find yourself falling over uh this might be why I'll be back in a minute you going to eat some bread no I can't eat bread it tries to kill me wait really yeah I I start uh get my I've got quite bad reflux and bread's a big trigger for it really you can't eat bread well remember when you guys came down to uh cber a long time ago and we went and got hot dogs and I just had that one bite and I just just kept throwing up I do remember that cuz cuz but yeah that was it not because of the hot dog not because of the disgusting meat product it because because of the bread the bread they the bread that got me yeah well as we've learned recently all you

eat is disgusting sausages so I had a craving for it I had not had any in years I'm not the only one out there that does it listeners no you're not your mom does it too there's two of you there's at least two of you your Mom confirmed on Facebook that she does enjoy she says As a treat from time to time it's not part of my regular diet or anything a raw sausage I'm glad it's not because I think it's quite dangerous I've never gotten sick from it that I know of well all right I've had food poisoning once and it was not from a raw sausage it was I was in Thailand I've been eating street food for weeks not a problem it's not what people normally think of street food Luke's street food is literally food he found

on the street the last night I thought I'm going to get a cheeseburger at the hotel I got food poisoning that night and really like I now know I know what food poisoning is like people who say oh the food was bad or I got sick from it no it wasn't it was I wanted to die really I've never had that yeah no food poison it is oh my God like I lived next to that toilet just hugging that toilet cuz it was coming both ends there there were a couple of times where I got very close to having to make a decision oh right I'm going to be covered in [Laughter]

something well I'm glad that's never happened I did get uh here it's things are a little different as far as food preparation goes um because in Australia to my knowledge right if you go out and you order like a say a burger or a steak or something oh actually steak's a bit different but if you go and order a Burg like a you go to a restaurant and say I'll have the hamburger you will get it cooked and it will be cooked yes here they will ask you how you want it cooked and if you say you want it raw they'll [ __ ] give it to you cuz that's your problem if it makes it's okay like remember we were just in Europe and I ate raw beef yeah that's different though that was wonderful we ground beef is has all the

bacteria smooshed into it that's the difference whereas in a you know like a raw steak it's the outside that's exposed yeah so yeah that that that was I I wish that on no one it was terrible I still get flashbacks it was a cheeseburger you no longer eat cheeseburgers no I'm I'm fine again I I understand it was just a that was that particular Burger yeah yeah cuz I can't live without cheeseburgers did they compensate you no did you tell them that you were sick no yeah that's probably why they didn't I don't like the cause a fuss well they cause a fuss inside of you and I caus a fuss in their bathroom you present this is your fault remember there was a period where I kept breaking

the toilets here that's gone that's that's stopped happening you fixed that now I don't know what I was doing wrong but apparently I figured it out now you just reminded me of the time I flooded the toilet at the Hilton and I had to go down to the front desk and tell them there there's been an incident cuz it wasn't just like one one incident it happened no it was not one incident and it was like on the trip where I didn't go to America had the issue and then when we went you still had the isue what doing to them I don't know man whatever was of I I think maybe it's something to do with you know in Australia we have the two buttons yep and you just kind of push the button I think here maybe you got to hold it down a little bit give it a bit of give it a

bit of a yeah but that shouldn't to flush it through no I don't know I don't know yeah I had to go down the front desk at the Hilton and ask him to come up and clean up the bathroom cuz it had overflowed that was when I sh room with Paul too and I like [ __ ] Paul doesn't find out that happened he would have been Furious years um and then the other one the next one was at a gas station in the middle of the Nevada desert and uh I to R to the car until the guys get drive drive drive before someone notices what I've done yeah no idea why yeah hasn't happened for a while I'm happy for you well especially now because now if it was to happen it's sort of your
