see why it's not my fault yeah no I can see why that would be a problem so I have one beer and I will open that now and one be will not get me drunk I wish it would was there ever time when one beer got you drunk Luke oh probably what be maybe 30 odd years ago when you were 10 i' I'd love to be a lightweight like it's so funny when you're in high school you've got all the guys go I I drank this much I drank this much and then they they couldn't cuz I used to watch they drink half a beer and P it down then but then when you get old you go drinking having to drink a lot to get drunk isn't a good thing it just turns into an expensive night no you're right we we should have

just been like you know what I had 3/4 of a beer and was flying had a great night yep sucks to be you guys but no we're Australian we have to drink lots I've really didn't enjoy drinking when I was young because I thought you had to just drink until you vomited which is uh as I learned when I got older not the way to do it no no you just drink and then you get to a certain point and then you just keep you want to be stay at that certain point like you don't want to get drunk yeah yeah you drink more sorry you drink less more often yep you just keep it that nice level maybe you get you have a few to start off with and then you just settle down to just go to one an hour yeah and that's called being a functioning alcoholic mhm I can do it well no binge

figure I'm the youngest of the old person category yes like when you growing up 30 seems old yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah when I was a kid I thought all adults were 35 that was just the age adults seemed to be okay yeah I just assumed yeah people were older yeah stopped being fun so now we're old but we're the young old people like if we complain about our age to old people they always chuckle and say you're so young now we can do that mhm see when my parents were the AGM now they had a 20-year-old me to deal with so yeah I know scary right times were different then then we could say that already

depressing but let's talk about something fun all right what's fun Saturday night lives meant to be fun I don't know I haven't seen it in a very long time yeah I've never found it funny uh but I do like watching old clips with like Dan akroy mhm uh but that's a long long time ago yeah before we were live but I did watch Saturday Night Live this week oh you did I did because I had to see elong musk how was it he was so bad that it was amazing okay because came back around to being good he yeah yeah this is a man who is absolutely not funny reading jokes of of a teleprompter written for him by the Saturday night Saturday Night Live writing stuff about

how he's not funny and it kind of worked but I don't why why did they go with him I don't know I don't know I bet it rated its tits off though the the thing that came out of it that I found strange is Dogecoin went down yeah yeah there was a sketch where somebody asked him what Dogecoin was and he explained to them it's the future of cryptocurrency and they said oh so it's a hustle and he went yeah it's a hustle bam dropped onethird of its value overnight see that's why I'm never going to get in this like that was a joke made on a sketch show made it drop by a third yeah yeah mind elong is one of the few people in the world that can essentially command the markets to move

by just speaking or tweeting yeah like you'll make a tweet and something will go up in price which it's terrible that it's that easy for him cuz he could basically just buy into Dogecoin or Bitcoin or whatever tweet about it watch the price go up then just sell everything he's got and he's just made money for doing nothing yeah but there's another cryptocurrency that's coming out have you seen this I don't know that I have so one thing that happened as part of the world stopping for Co was the little documentary went crazy at the start of it it feels like it's so long ago but it's really not but you remember Joe Exotic I do indeed mhm I remember the good part of Co where we all just stayed at home and and hoped

there wouldn't be a pandemic and watched Joe Exotic mhm Well Carrie Carol Basin Basin M however you pronounce it has uh she's getting into cryptocurrency and has basically come up with big catcoin okay so she's look I really don't know how you start your own cryptocurrency is a thing anyone can do could we start multiple coin gasm we could I don't know very far well we don't want it to we want to be the only ones who have shares in it surely well well the thing is if we're the only ones that H have it then it's worthless yeah I don't know how the stock market Works cuz it's not about owning shares in it no one owns shares in Bitcoin they own Bitcoins right and what they worth is

love are those news sites for the less reputable news sources mhm who know you're not going to read an article and once you clicked onto their site they already get paid for their advertisers so they've got the headline and the article and between five or six bullet points that sums up the entire like the to Long didn't read version of the article that's below cuz they know you just want to know the the facts one thing I went to an article that got me today so it looked like they went the release date for the Lego Saga announced and I went good I'm waiting for this to come out so there's been an announcement I go on and that's what it says like Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga release date announced

I go into the article it doesn't say when it's announced cuz they haven't announced it and like all other times where when um oh watching Falcon and Winter Soldier mhm so when they first brought out like the new Captain America I was like oh who was he and stuff like that so went online directly after that episode and found SS like who is he and and it's just they it was this article writing the same questions that I was asking with no explanation I like they people yeah yeah I encountered today I was reading through my news feed today and I found three separate articles about Joe Rogan not Joe Rogan who's the comedian there I can you narrow it down

months that actually be less cuz it takes takes the money in US dollars so if I won 40 yeah it would be 40 not only that but it counts as uh income so you'd be taxed at 4% yeah exactly over in America it does in Australia lot of winnings don't count as income really interest off the winnings counts interest wi so in America so if you invest it you pay if you don't invest it and you just blow it all you pay the interest you get from the bank is what you would be paying oh so you'd accid accidentally earned some interest I think yeah you you would and it's not like you earning a small amount if you're talking those figes but yeah it's not I'd be putting it straight into an offshore bank account in [ __ ] Switzerland it requires a lot of effort and I don't know how that

works very lazy I think swis banks know you want to do it and they make it very easy for you there's a show on TV here on on HGTV I probably probably have it there called uh my lotto Dreamhouse or something oh no they call it Lotto my lottery dream house like um and it's it's it's a httv you know like real estate show where it's basically somebody's won money somehow it's actually not that specific and then this guy comes in shows him a bunch of houses and I always cuz I'm an old man now who owns a house I'm always like these like for example one the other the week cuz we had it on the hospital was uh they won a million dollars right and so they were looking for a house and they live they give you half a house here in Sydney yeah they won a million dollars they have six kids

right and they were running in living in this rundown little place where they had like four kids in a room and then they're like he's like what's your budget and they're like $650,000 and I was like hang on a minute you won a million dollar you've paid tax on that presumably mhm you couldn't you couldn't maintain the old house cuz you got six kids and you want to spend $650,000 on a house you're going to have to pay probably property taxes on a $650 $650,000 house are going to be over 10 grand a year I was just like I'm so skeptical and I realized I'm no fun anymore why can't I just enjoy why can't I just enjoy this TV show that's clearly not real anyway had was watching a televis show a bit like that it's basically the wedding or the house so

it's about they got couples it's enough money to either have their a show that's real life it's awful it's an awful show to buy the house and it's just like everyone you go buy the house the house Yeah Yeah by buy the house yeah but it's B to be like you got a real estate agent in a wedding cor competing against each other going I'll get you this deal and the flowers and stuff like this why would you ever choose the wedding always the house it's a choice between the two they never do cuz it's fake mhm mhm well that's why my second marriage I didn't have a wedding Lear from were not invited you you were invited to every wedding I had yeah I've had a very small

uh just you know close friends at at a place I'm going to say Garden wedding but it was at a mansion so it was a mansion that owned by a family member that I didn't have to pay anybody mhm mhm actually in in America that is just a house here it's a mansion true yeah true yeah you don't want to we've been looking at the moment cuz we're suddenly going to need more room no not Mansions sadly for the kind of money that I always through my whole life thought would get me a mansion is what I'm looking at spending on just a little house down the road my my brother's looking at uh moving and he's he was like oh checking out this place and I look I click through to it and I was like [ __ ] hell all right Sydney

yeah mhm it's brutal brutal but my questions for you Luke two part number one you do win the $40 million what's the first just extravagant yay I've got money purchase that you make o some you always wanted that you're just like well now I can just waste money on this honestly I probably wouldn't go out and do super big stuff or silly stuff to begin with I want to look at getting a bigger house first so I could store some of the [ __ ] I'm going to be getting yeah yeah cuz we're talking like things like I want a Star Wars pinball machine mhh um I want some Star Wars costumes but like the really really good expensive ones um as he I imagine him him telling Hannah this too like I've been sensible

I've not you know we're going to wait till we have biger house and as he's talking Australia Post pulls up stuff unloading Lego from from the back of the truck yeah yeah yeah full size [ __ ] Imperial Guard costume on a mannequin's coming in where do you want this stuff would it's not going to fit in that house mate I don't know I'd probably get a Tesla or maybe a mini I knew you going say a Tesla well I've got a mini and that's proof that you don't need $40 million cuz I certainly didn't spend that on my mini that's why you can't afford a house Dan that's right oh man I spent that but yeah mat you would actually have to move back to Australia I'm sorry oh okay so I could for multiple nasm yeah right you don't pay to live in the house I buy a house you don't pay

what I'm thinking so million dollar there and then we just yeah try and work out what works for us maybe bring some more people on and just try and turn it into like something that will make me money the business plan is we'll get $40 million from from the lotto and then we'll hire some people and then we'll figure out what we want to do yeah but I love it I love it his plan is to try to make some money yeah by spending the $40 million that he could just retire on and over again or get some insanely good index funds you know what I mean what happen is if I wasn't doing something I would blow it all so I don't need to make money I just don't want to I want to cover cost pretty much you just need to keep things moving yeah M like cuz if if I'm

great Deadpool 2 was derivative and Deadpool 3 is just going to be flogging a dead horse and he added and this is coming from someone who's had 15 seasons of the same show that's funny all right in this article I quite like the the Instagram post they've got from him mhm Bally saying like look to get from to get his body shape now it's not hard at all as long as you just like got all this stuff and people pay for it and yeah on I watch so all you need to do is lift weight 6 days a week stop drinking alcohol don't eat anything after seven don't eat any carbs or sugar at all in fact just don't any eat anything you like get the personal trainer from Magic mik sleep 9 hours a night Run 3 m a day and have a shudio pay for the whole

thing over 6 to 7 months months span I don't know why everyone is not doing this it's super realistic lifestyle and appropriate body image to compare oneself to I started going to the gym about 6 months ago oh yeah and uh started going a lot cuz I was working from home so I could get kind of get out most days and you know I got put on a meal plan I had a trainer and um after about 6 months I took some progress photos looked back between those and on day one and I went I can't tell the difference so I'm not going to do this anymore because this is a waste of my time waste of time and potentially a lot of money too gyms are expensive lot of money yeah and look I'm not saying don't exercise I'm not saying don't go to the gym but uh ask did did you just take

photos of your dick like you nor do or did you take picture it was the MUSC I worked the most yeah I can't tell the difference it just looks like my dick in the second pH I thought I was sure I'd have Rob melin's dick by now that's right cuz I'm sure I'd be so handsome he'd want to [ __ ] me yeah I mean this dick doesn't have Caitlyn Olsson on it he posted for our Mother's Day uh you know like a nice post about her but with a picture of an ostrich and uh and then in the which is an Always Sunny reference in case anyone doesn't know it's I thought it was very funny there was a picture of an ostrich and it said thanks for you know looking after the kids and laying so many eggs

what a watch I watched Godzilla versus Kong how is it yeah it's excellent it is it's excellent cuz I think the only thing I was seeing with negative reviews is people were saying like there's not much story like to it when they try to add the story it falls apart honestly the writers don't know what to do when it's just human beings on the screen I think that I think that they listened because they tried to put more story in the other ones and everyone was like [ __ ] off get rid of it like when they were trying to make you feel for this family that was split up and I don't give a [ __ ] about still there they're still there and they've still got a family split up side plot but it's just every time they cut to it you're okay

let me and this is one of those cases where people some people were like oh we didn't had you know like some questions about this character and this kind of thing and the director was like yeah know we filmed some of that stuff but we cut it out cuz we figured no one was care no one would care and then everyone was like yeah actually you know I didn't really care I just I just kind of noticed it I just notice that didn't go anywhere yeah but then but then you know they started punch ing each other and I just stopped heing Luke there's literally see where King Kong literally just [ __ ] decks Godzilla in the face [ __ ] awesome I want to see [ __ ] punches him it's great the the times they choose to anthropomorphize them and

then not in other times like sometimes they're just wild animals and then sometimes they just big [ __ ] human beings there's a bit where Godzilla goes that's what I mean he's suddenly completely sentient and self aware having a laugh cuz he thre throws King Kong through the city and he's like yeah yeah and then King Kong's like walking around on all fours and then later on he picks up an a he's like yeah yeah and then he goes and plugs it in to charge up so good yeah yeah it's excellent honest to God I I I want to I want to get a time machine just to take this movie back back in time into the 30s where the guys are like building that

big mechanical hand to hold F Ray in in the original King Kong and be like you guys just want to come and have a look at this movie was it did Harry how Harry how do the original in the 30s yeah yeah for sure just show or just show Harry hasn't a modern movie anyway and just [ __ ] mind melt like you started this mate this is what this is what you started this is where it leads have you seen a lot of people have gone back and started like uaing the Harry house and stuff into like high frame rate oh interesting yeah it's really weird I don't know if I necessarily like it but it's it's interesting that people are doing it I wonder have a look cuz I do want to see it so I went on to Prime just to see how much it it be to sort of rent 30 bucks yeah and I but I don't quite

understand so it's 30 bucks to rent it m or if I pay another five I own it yeah but no one wants to own it I don't my my umal li gets quite big be clear on that you don't own it I know but my digital library starting to get quite big yeah yeah if you do say so yourself but as in digital library cuz there's nothing worse than seeing something on a sh service you know it's there but the time you go to watch it it's no longer there yeah yeah I agree I agree so I look out for sales now and if I see mie I know I like I'm going to pick it up for five bucks I grab Stu too but I got to try and make sure you watch it at least once because they do just remove them sometimes like yeah you don't own

that like that's you own this providing that we still have it for available on our platform yeah cuz there was I think an attempt at a court case about that that said people bought a bunch of movies and then suddenly were like he they're not on there anymore and then Apple or whoever were like yeah it's because the the the publisher removed them and they're like but I bought them and they're like well you yeah you bought the the license lied license but they removed the but they've removed them now and like we're going to sue you well you're not going to sue us you're going to sue the publisher it's got nothing to do with us like it's not it's not like a book that you bought and put on your bookshelf and then We snuck into your house and took the book back

exactly yeah yeah you could see the publisher but you won't get anywhere with that either cuz like I said you didn't buy the thing you bought the license you've still got it just not I heard this was something that I think Bruce Willis was actually going to try and take the court he wanted to do something with his iTunes library that he was leaving it to his children when he died and that's [ __ ] awesome that guy is off the [ __ ] charts man Bruce Willis was going to sue for his iTunes library I think I remember hearing about that like a decade ago someing news later oh so good so good the joke itself wasn't the good bit it was the fact that Bruce Willis then had

was like all right Buck a show going forward and everyone was like [ __ ] that he was like [ __ ] you then yeah I won't do it and those of us he paid for it were like no it's it's actually worth it it's [ __ ] hilarious you you pay for every other type of media it's $1 and it's like more laughs than you'll get from an episode of some shitty sitcom definitely no but shy sit C they tell me when to laugh that's true makes it easier that is true yeah so does Ricky he has a good laugh yeah his high pitched squeal mhm um I noticed something uh while watching Godzilla versus Kong and I've Got a Theory right um and I noticed because Godzilla is referred to in this by the American characters as Godzilla but by the Japanese characters as its

original pronunciation Goa goira right and then I started to think about the stereotype of Asian people substituting L's for RS right which in all my experience living and working in Asia I have never once come across not a thing it is not a thing just curious no not there and I was trying to think if there was any instance before goira was translated as Godzilla that that stereotype came about and I think that might be the source of Americans assuming that the Japanese are mispronouncing a word that was mispronounced out of Japanese yeah their word like

yeah well I mean cuz the the reason that these things happen is just because they don't have the same building blocks of language right so they don't have those sounds oh not they don't have them they don't use them so so they're not used to making those noises that's basically you can't speak a remote African language with which would be totally valid if the Japanese were mispronouncing the word godzilla which they were not they invented the word Goa own word and we're pronouncing it our way yeah because because probably because America yeah yeah that's fair but yeah good movie I want to watch some of the old ones not all of the old ones but some of them and I want to rewatch The by old ones do you mean old old you mean like no I mean Skull Island yeah yeah yeah okay all

right yeah yeah yeah but not all of them cuz the other Godzilla was not great but uh king of monsters king of monsters yeah yeah no that wasn't that good that was not good H Mo uh but I also want to go back and watch Peter Jackson's Godzilla oh Peter Jackson Peter Jackson's King Kong yeah yeah I wonder how that's held up I haven't watched it a long time Jack Black yes it's got Jack Black that was a great game to get on the Xbox 360 cuz the achievements were really easy to get them all that was a good game for memory it was a good game I enjoyed it and it was a good ride at Hollywood Universal that was a good ride yeah yeah Matt uh I know you hate I think is a fair way to say

Jack Black's performance in that movie no it's not I wouldn't go that far it's just that ending it's so on the nose and it's not even his it's not his fault it's it's 100% Peter Jackson's fault but but the thing is he's he is impersonating the act of from the original film saying that line cuz that's how the original film ended yeah I know I know but it is it is one of those homages that's just a little too it's just the last thing you see before the credits roll and it's just doesn't fit like it's no one says that who would say that TW beauty Beast he looks in the camera and goes R

RI like 1930s this is set and no one spoke like that in the 1930s twiz Beauty killed the Beast like they spoke like that in movies in 1930s yeah anyway that's that's the thing that IR me about other than that he was fine in the movie I thought you know how there's like fan edits with like you know the no jarar version of phantom menace etc etc I'd love to see Matt's fan edit of King Kong and it's literally just the movie but it ends 3 seconds earlier yeah pans out on Kong dead done sorry spoilers spoilers spoilers from a movie that's a remake of a movie from literally 100 years ago no it's is like Kong Falls and it's sh got to shim and then and then I walk out and I go to Beauty killed the Beast and I said the line correctly yeah he was like I think

Spielberg and they were going to I know should have [ __ ] made it also pay I'll pay for like tit to make that make the Dig I would watch the [ __ ] out of that yes yes in fact just have all the money make that also just go back and do the original game again as it was originally intended which was as a survival game where you had to find things to be able to eat and drink on this alien planet and and trialing that [ __ ] yeah and some of the concept art and and and stuff for the original uh plan for that game was pretty hardcore and I'd love to see that a great game some money give to Sid Meyer and tell him to make his dinosaur game that he stopped making because he saw Jurassic Park he did didn't like it no cuz he was
