ago this month [ __ ] hell stop it what are you why are you doing this cuz I had to experience it so you should all EXP as well so they had the guy who sort of is Max pain like the guy who does the face guy who does The Voice come out and do like a 20y year like thank you to everyone who brought this to life I was when I saw it I was kind of hoping that it was a and here's a remake of it cuz I wouldn't mind playing through the first max painting again oh the second one the second one was great too third one when he just yeah he's working company completely different game he shaved his head yep they just had some Hitman skins left over and a Hawaiian shirt that's right unfortunately it wasn't an announcement

for our here a remake of one and two which would have been amazing I thought one of the devs was the voice and face model in the first game uh one of the devs definitely was the face model sure did the voice actor okay just going back to Fallout I I never played the first Fallout until Fallout 2 came out and then I was over at a friend's house and I saw him boot up Fallout 2 and they had that animated sequence at the start and I was like what the [ __ ] is this and why am I not playing it right now I had a demo of uh Fallout 1 when I was young I remember demos share like you could play up to I don't even remember I think maybe it was just you could play

but the timer was like like an hour or something yeah like instead of however long the actual timer is something like that um yeah I always remember that well the first time you play through it you don't realize it's really time sensitive until the game just stops and says you've run out of time sorry about that but you didn't get your water CH Ste of your skeleton in the desert can I go back to approve your save and continue from there yes but do you have enough time to get the water CH you don't [Music] yeah I've got to go collect some feathers yeah I might just be bored and raiding the river yeah I did see some Bits of Paper with tattoos on them

floating around so I'm going to go get those try to get them then I'll see what they look like on me yeah mhm yeah yeah I am I kind of happy that they did get rid of that time frame for some it is a good game I I was thinking the other day cuz I'm still playing it too and last night when I was playing a bit I was thinking really enjoying it I think think Odyssey is probably still better though oh absolutely I think it's a better game Odyssey is [ __ ] amazing it's excellent one thing that sucks about Odyssey is I went to install all the DLC and everything and I was going to go through and play that but then I remembered I gave the disc which is probably the last game I brought on disc to my sister oh no so that's gone so I mean you could buy it for $10 and then

you wouldn't need the disc anymore well I've gone digital but to buy it online is still 100 bucks no I think there's a sale on your sister your sister needs to get an Express post envelope then and send you back the disc she she's just playing farall is the game sale on right now on uh let me a look and see if it's on sale it's not old enough to you have bought it on disc surely yeah it came out a few years ago You' played the Hitman games right Dan I was looking at those because there's a like I said I think the ultimate game sale is on so I was looking at those they they good yes yes they are got it and origins in a pack for I could buy watch Legion I could buy what dog Watch Dogs Legion and Assassin's Creed Valhalla for 92 bucks Assassin's Creed

Odyssey Gold Edition 25 right now oh so maybe it's just that that base level uh see well even this is an annoying thing like it's for me to get the Gold Edition which is on sale it's $43 ah the Edition comes with all the DLC that I got cuz I brought just a DLC and if it was like 10 to 15 I'd buy it I think I'm going to have to wait cuz it just feels wrong to buy an addition I already own most of Luke this couldn't possibly be the only game you've already owned and then bought again it's definitely not he's bought The Witcher several times yeah yes um okay well no

it hasn't but am I going to play it is the big question I'm know what the game I'm playing a lot at the moment and I don't know why GTA 5 oh really I gave up on the GTA at some stage I don't get excited by them anymore I've not played a lot of five I've played a little bit but I'm enjoying it I'm actually sort of wishing that I played with people online so I can do some of the heists yeah I think I have it like I own it I just hav I never really played it well it's on Game Pass at the moment well then I definitely have it yep but yeah I actually I was playing recently cuz I wanted to get there was an achievement I was close to like get to level 50 yeah I got it and then I just kept playing every day do any listeners want to play GTA 5

with me it's like Luke's like weirded out cuz he's like I'm playing games like a normal person yeah I just started playing it then enjoyed it so I played more played more yeah it's it's weird um there's no like achievement I'm aiming for well if I was playing with people online there are a few Heist achievements I would try and play with people but there's they released a new Heist a little while ago that you can complete single player so I'm actually just going through that and completing all the prep missions and doing everything and at the end of it there's no achievement I'm I'm going to admit something that might shock You Luke but I don't even know what achievements there are when I'm playing a game if I get if I get an achievement it's a

coincidence purely by accident yeah I just play games cuz I like to yeah I I don't understand that anymore like uh this month I've probably got more than the both you combined I've gotten like the last two three years mate you might have more than I've gotten in my entire oh this month yeah no no no definitely I got I think I'm at like 43,000 this month and what games did you have to play to get them I've played a lot of very easy games to get those ones and actually games that I'm getting upset with how easy the achievements are achievement unlocked played the game it's there was there's a company that goes out and they release games with very easy achievements for people like me so I pay seven bucks I go through I

unlock the achievements in minutes right they've been doing title updates to those games well they just change the ti of the game no no no they do a tit update so they're making an update but all the achievements have been is like play the next five levels when we give another th Gamers call and I'm yeah okay I don't mind the games are a bit of fun but one of the recent ones they did they went through and they went doing a title update to get the achievements you have to walk over the help spaces on the first three levels and I even I'm thinking no that's that's wrong it's stop making me play the game more it's making me go back and replay very simple levels and so I think Microsoft's going to step in soon I still went through and unlocked the m and got the gameer call but yeah

because you wanted to make sure you did before Microsoft did step in yes but seriously like there are some games that you can pay seven bucks yeah in 3 minutes you have locked all the achievements and then you want install I'm not going to do that I'll be honest that's that's called buying achievements L I'll just keep playing the game am still playing the game I do want I want to play the DLC for Assassin's Creed Odyssey but I've been playing Vala and now when I switch back to Odyssey I think I've I've talked about this before the frame rate is like painful at first like and I know I'll get used to it cuz I did already once before but it's just like the the difference is just like it's hard to go back and it's so weird because I never had 60 frames a second

for like M the since 2013 when that the uh the the Xbox one came out like 30 frames and then now suddenly I've got 60 and then now I'm like I can't even look at it [ __ ] hurts my eyes like jeez which is crazy cuz the first time you played it you went this game looks amazing it's beautiful all this and now I still think so yeah it's a piece of [ __ ] I still think Odyssey is like environment more beautiful than than valh but I think that's mostly because like that area of the world it's just beautiful is [ __ ] beautiful yeah it's just cheating but I also think I think that because it's England it's just it's very syy everywhere you go yeah just looks more of the same yeah there's

nowhere on that map I can climb on a giant dick you can come here and climb on a giant dick if you want L while exploring the map I do also miss and I know uh Odyssey had a little too much looting and upgrading of armor and weapons but I miss having any kind of upgrade I've got I've upgraded two pieces of armor and I'm using the same axe I've always had yeah yeah I mean you can do the upgrades it's just it's different it's less uh you do it less frequently I guess I don't want to do upgrades I want to find cool [ __ ] I know and I keep thinking can I dismantle some of these weapons no and you have to go and sell them and it's I keep forgetting I've just got like my my little Viking pouch is just full of [ __ ]

weapons yeah that's what I call my SC yeah yeah I didn't like inly I didn't like in fora I don't like the the that whole weapon system cuz obviously you had to up you did have to upgrade well not yeah you had to equip new armor and new weapons all the time to level up but if you didn't like the look of it you could just make it look like the armor you used to wear yeah which I always thought was cheating yeah that's yeah that's the one thing I don't like about it and unfortunately I think with the new way they're aiming Assassin's Creed I think that's the way of the future they're doing online service yeah we are definitely not the audience for these games anymore unless unless that means more content you know like more

content coming out constant updated the content you're going to be getting isn't that single player stuff it's going to be his prettier armor he's a new co-operate you can do with everyone it's not the way we play games and the thing I worry about is you know when you play an MMO and there's an area with enemies like say it's one of the the you know like a fortress in uh Assassin's Creed Odyssey it would be like in an MMO the respawn and then so you like it's just you know like when when you play Odyssey now if you clear out a fortress you go back and the [ __ ] these are the people you killed her there and it's like the the your actions have consequences in a way whereas in an MMO you come back 5 minutes later and they're all just back

yep like literally the the the cult of Cosmos person you just killed is just back again hanging around yeah and there's a Quee that you have to get in to kill him again yeah it's just I don't know not for me that kind of thing no y so I really hope they did stick with that single player content cuz I think yeah it's Assassin's Creed has come great again keep it there they're so good I don't want games as a service I've got Origins to play too but I have a feeling I'm not going to get as hooked on that as I have been I've been told it's very good as well I've been told it's not I've been Luke keeps poo pooing it but I've been told it's very good look honestly you will think foral

and odyssey are a lot better I think uh Origins is a stepping stone that got to there right all right cuz they keep referencing stuff in uh in the other two from oh I pay no attention to the story line anymore yeah yeah well I'm trying I gave up on the Assassin's Creed story a long time ago it is quite convoluted and silly but yes but if you enjoy it I do but yeah yeah Origins I think you will struggle more than you are with Odyssey at the moment we shall see I do like pyramids though to it yeah that was good to walk around and do but there was so many secrets and treasures you had to collect just like real life Luke hates video games yeah like real it does feel

like that sometimes walking around Egypt so many secrets and treasures here sick of it I've got to collect them all well actually that is a change that Ubisoft has made they used to have like achievements linked to like collecting everything now you don't have to collect everything so you get to a stage where I've collected enough I'm just going to play the game now but it's set in ancient Egypt so everything's not as interesting to your character as it would be to you as a modern person you know what I mean it's like the pyramids yeah the pyramid they built those the other day yeah that's the newest pyramid 30 years old build the 70s mate knock it down put a better one up why not well actually they did

actually take a lot of the sides of the pyramids off to build Cairo walls of Cairo all built from the sides of pyramids mhm mm see history mhm mhm that's all I know about Egypt I guess what I didn't realize playing alalla is how much cuz when when is this set like 6th 7th Century ad how many Roman buildings were still in Britain at that time but that makes perfect sense is the Prem medieval right right yeah exactly yeah I mean I've seen the wall the Roman walls in various places but that's all I've seen I've not seen as much as they clearly have in this yeah buildings with columns yeah yeah it's interesting and they actually traveled to a lot of those places to actually view them and when they're developing the game when people could

travel back in the olden days we I I just go back like we were so lucky we went to we met up in France when we did yeah that's true yeah that was just before it all happened cuz it was sort of happening while we were there yeah unrelated let's be clear it's not a 12 monkey situation I have been thinking about our next [Music] trip how about if we just go to Hawai okay I think that'll be the place that opens up soon and let's just do a relaxing holiday together don't go anywhere where you get go into Michelle Rodriguez mode and just get really trashed and drive your car around and crash into things it's where Luke gets

lost in Hawaii and we have to find him that's likely to happen I was thinking about that today like why cuz it's going to be a while before we can all like travel travel again so let's go on a relaxing holiday where we should all meet up you've got your kids with you and we just sit on a beach look can play in the kitty pool with our children yeah that's right I have cuz I'll get to go to the kitty club and I'll have so much fun and then you can go do boring tours boring tours what do I even want to look at in Hawaii I'm sure there's proba there are there ruins in Hawaii surely there was something there that got ruined along the way yeah I think we've ruined Hawaii I think that's the what the take away us what we do you got

a day day trip to volcanoes and I'll stay with the kids problem solved want a holiday I do too mate I've been uh curating myself a little David Tenant Marathon this we I think ition been in apart from Doctor Who lots of things things as it turns out and he's always very good um so I finished all of broad Church which was terrific right up until the very last episode I mean including that I'm not saying it fell apart in the end I just mean it was all very good yeah and then I wanted more and then I I went online and I found that there's another show where he plays a detective hunting down a killer and it's called Grace Point so I I got my hands on that and started watching it only to realize it's broad church but in America and it stars David tend as the same character

doing an American accent I was so disappointed Matt can you explain this why America does this yet no cuz they they've they've done it with like a lot of shows they tried to do it with red dwarf the office the the same show but um the in between is I mean I get I mean I guess they don't they did it with space foreign they they did it with space and and it didn't even make it past the first episode it was so bad yeah I don't know why they do it they did that movie uh what the the funeral movie you know what I'm talking about oh yeah yeah when they did Chris Rock remake right it was Chris Rock and I I don't know I don't know why

they do it they like to hear their own voices yeah yeah people just don't go see foreign films here and then as foreign films no no no I'm saying that counts here what I'm saying for some reason you know what I think we did take it for granted cuz we grow up BBC and all of that stuff and we think that British stuff is just as relevant as Aussie stuff the same yeah I don't even really disting we can consume American Media too but yeah yeah we still got Best of Both Worlds type of thing but yeah like there are something where it's not like it's a where changing it for America they'll do the same jokes Grace Point same director they learned with same director same actor same script the office the first season of the US offic

is just an attempted just reperformance of the same [ __ ] show like same scripts and everything and then they they stopped doing that because it sucked basically did we talk about James gandini in the office James gandini James gandini Tony Soprano from The Sopranos right you didn't know amazing actor and The Sopranos was you know Cutting Edge TV right after The Sopranos had ended 3 years after it had ended when uh what's Michael Scott I can't even remember his name his name Steve Carell Steve Carell when Steve Carell left and they were looking for a replacement and I know they did some funny things with guest to stars and stuff but initially they were looking for repl I put that in

quotes yeah so do why L um they approached gandal and they offered him $4 million to take the role of the manager right HBO then offered him $3 million to turn it down because a show that had already finished they didn't want to taint the memory of Tony Soprano so he just got $3 million yeah so he took the money stay at home yeah yeah he he got paid $3 million not to get a job it's a good deal see that's that's the kind of money you want yeah that's weird I mean he died say yeah but I still find it like it's pretty bad like that's he got $3 million not to do anything whereas that's more money than a lot of people will make in their lifetime imagine that I've been

offered a job 4 million bucks I'll give you 3 million to not do a godamn thing just stay at home like that is a if you were to get paid for a working week five working days you got paid $1,000 a day it would take you still 10 years to make that $3 million mhm how do you know thanks Luke [ __ ] you how do you know that cuz he set the parameters sorry what I'm saying is do you just have that that data stored away those values calculate that somewhere I just I just sort of made it up like if you look at like a year is 36 days if you get paid 300 $1,000 a day for every day that includes weekends and everything that's only 365,000 yes so we got to take away well now I'm depressed like take away weekends and holidays and all that don't take away my

weekends [ __ ] you don't take don't take you paid $1,000 for them thanks Scott Morrison if I can bring this back to David Tenant for a second just to just to add a Sprinkle of sunshine to this uh I did find another show where David Tenant is the serial killer being hunted by police it's called a spoiler it's called Dez no it's not um it's only three episodes and it's excellent de so is it three episodes or it's like a minseries I guess it's a minseries of Three episodes yeah so like three hour long episodes type yeah correct yeah yeah 3our episodes and while I'm throwing stuff out there I'm also watching staged have

you guys seen this staged I know David Tennant as himself and Michael Sheen as himself recording a sitcom in lockdown about them recording something in lockdown huh okay great I like all those people I'm looking at who's in this is it funny yes mhm watch it yeah I think so Luke it's perhaps not quite as clever as the Mythic Quest lockdown episode and it's a whole series right so like they're not trying to be clever but it is very funny I might look into it but I I I seem to be stuck on a loop of watching Fear Street at the moment I haven't seen Fear Street

Goosebumps or whatever thingy it's it's not for children no Jen's been watching Luke you're not necessarily a horror fan I'm surprised that you're watching not just watching it but exclusively watching this I don't know I sort of saw the first one and I enjoyed it and then I was waiting for the next two to be released Jenna watch Jenna apparently read all the books when she was young and so this is like yeah made for her basically yeah I can understand why they're not basically really advertising the Goosebumps side of it because yeah definitely not for kids no from what I've seen it's not well I mean like I said I haven't seen it but she said there's like a weird mix in a way because it's like a little bit PG-13 but then really not in some parts

right yeah so then there'll be a really graphic [ __ ] like and they are rated right yeah like there's there's sex scenes there's very gory murders it's yeah it's definitely not something you would think Goosebumps but no I really recommend them I enjoyed all three of them I don't remember was Goosebumps quite gory no no it's they're not Goosebumps like it's it's it's the same author but it's his like okay think Ariel Stein you think Goosebumps yeah it's like his young adult series I think okay yeah but yeah for some reason always ARL Stein will always just be Goosebumps to me I never knew that he wrote other stuff cuz you got to read them I'll be honest by the time I even was aware of Goosebumps I'd also

discovered Steven King so Goosebumps didn't read I never read Goosebumps no I never but that's the only place I know Ariel Stein from I highly recommend him I enjoyed all you have to watch all three you have to it's legal requirement you going to watch the first one it's like Feast Street 1985 then Fe Street 1978 and then Fe Street 1666 but they're a Trilogy like you watch all three of them and they're all intertwined I assume 1666 is about witches it might be they've up and film they've put them in the wrong order yes it's about witches trust me go and watch it I really enjoyed them okay all right is about sexy witches there are some sexy witches there excellent I don't think I watched any movies this week I definitely didn't watch watched a bit of

Psych I definitely watched psych [ __ ] what a great show can't believe I'd never heard of this [ __ ] show we watched the episode where where do you know the one I'm talking about Luke where uh Gus Gus's boss gets murdered mhm and he it's like a [ __ ] Naked Gun nordberg style sequence where he accidentally just [ __ ] up the crime scene it's so funny and then Sean comes in help him then the same thing happens again oh man I was I was in tears that was very funny Luke is there a way I can legally watch this or do I have to go to Italy prime prime okay yeah that's right I'm watching it so you I'm pretty sure you have access to I have access to Prime yeah yes I do I definitely did not watch snake eyes

and apparently neither did anybody else what Snake Eyes well ask Luke yeah Snake Eyes is the new GI Joe uh installment franchise installment that came out this week to a uh a blockbuster opening of $13.3 million which and what was the budget of the film uh approximately uh $88 million oh that's a loss that's a painful loss that does include the marketing obviously that's just the the budget for the film so oh God cuz marketing is probably the budget for the film as well it's going to be almost $200 million they'd have to make can I just say we uh 40-year-old men who were kids in the'80s if anyone is going to watch a GI Joe movie it's us and we have no interest in this character Snake Eyes favorite GI

character could not care less about this movie no if this had come out when I was a kid I would have been all over it mhm and I think that's the problem because you can't go to the movies anymore and the people who this would have been really marketed to are children this is not the time to release a movie like this I don't think this is a children's movie is it isn't this like a I assume would still be I assume 18 to 24 yeah really yeah this is like a a a have you seen the others maybe maybe 15 I saw one with you in America where they it's not kids there was the things where they were going to fire things from space and that was going to be bad so in they blew them up so I would fall I haven't seen that yeah it was nonsense but it's not a

kid they're all nonsense I've got no interest in this no I mean I don't think it is maybe maybe this is what kids movies are I think it's at early sort of that not quite teen they tween to sort of age I mean this is about ninjas and I could have told them this was not going to make money I mean will you explain it like that it sounds [ __ ] excellent but I just still not going to watch it look I mean look that doesn't maybe it is excellent I have no idea but no one's seeing it so that's it's it's just not good and I don't think this one had like a simultaneous release anywhere I could be wrong about that but if this is just in theaters that might explain some of this wellbody Australia could see it that's for sure right and like black widow had a butt ton of views on um

Disney plus which helped so whereas I don't know that this has that uh and I guess I guess yeah you're going to have to try harder if you want to lure people back into the theater these days yeah uh Jo Jo is not the way to do it like I think Black Widow you had a a market there right there people were frothing for another Marvel movie like it could have been any Marvel movie I think cuz yeah Marvel it's been been a long time since we had a Marvel movie right where this I don't think any it's been a long time since we had a GI Joe but no one's going I want to see the next GI Jo because I didn't even really know this was coming out I'll be honest I knew Black Widow was coming out I didn't know this was coming out I knew

that was coming out but I knew nothing about it other than the fact that it stars the guy from crazy Rich Asians uh that's all and I still won't go see this next next week I'm going to go see oh what's that movie James gun Suicide Squad oh yeah that's out next week I'm going to go see that I'll definitely watch that and that's something I'm interested in seeing I think that'll do a lot better than G Joe I will see it HBO and I hope it's good I think that's coming out I'm going we don't have HBO here M oh I think the suicide squad's going to be on HBO m so I'll probably just watch it at home yeah I'm hoping to go go see the movies and catch up with some people I don't think you will be able to Luke I me c is fine yeah Okay C is fine we are not in

lockdown because no one wants to come here you're lucky everyone's not going there no one goes to C yeah but because everywhere else is in lockdown yep they physically can't like we we C's not had a case in a year H speaking of places to visit we report Ed recently that Steven Spielberg was selling his super yacht yes um we consider it I don't I don't know we don't follow up on articles from the past Luke sometimes not often but if you can't afford the hund what $160 million he wanted for that ridiculous um you could possibly afford Tom hanks's Caravan which is also up for sale right how much is that going for it is

going for no all right forget it it's estim is between 150 Grand and 250 Grand [ __ ] that how how can this Caravan be worth more it's it's an Airstream so I mean they're not they're [ __ ] expensive brand of Caravan yeah like this is a this isn't your normal inside scroll down have a look inside no no I was going to say that so so airstreams are a [ __ ] expensive brand right so you'd be over I think you'd you'd be they made out of stain steel you'd be paying close to 100 grand for one anyway but like looking at this thing it looks like he's got like foldout wooden chairs in there and a little like this is not what I would expect for an my dad has a caravan and it looks like a slightly smaller

version of this yeah like the fold out chairs and that table you wouldn't have that in a caravan because they move that's what I'm saying this seems like like to be fair he doesn't use this to go on holidays he uses this as his star wagon when he's making films yeah I think you so I don't think he's sitting at that table while he's driving around you're not paying for the Airstream cuz this is or maybe this is just what a secondhand Airstream costs ER some of them sure they're up there yeah I mean no this is this is very expensive for I mean I think cuz I I mean I look at Caravans from time I'm thinking about buying one uh this I would not be interested in at all I don't feel like that's good value for money cuz I'm not a big Toms

happened and you know he'd worked with Tim Burton before in a couple movies like bju and PeeWee yeah and Tim Burton was doing pre-production on Batman they're building the sets and he got Danny Alman out to the set and they're walking around the set with like the like the music editor or somebody and then Tim Burton is explaining to Danny Alman that all right so Michael Jackson's going to be doing the Batman theme um someone else is going to be doing another theme and Prince is going to be doing the Joker theme and then you're going to co- compose the score with Prince and then apparently the music editor had to like Shuffle in between them he said he could just see on Daniel apparently Dan got got a bit of a temper and he said he could just see on his

face that this was not going well and then and basically like Elfman was like no absolutely not and he left and went home and fell into depression cuz he was like that's it my career's done like this was my big break this this is what I am now I'm just the guy who strings some pop songs together yeah and then he said luckily for him Prince had a go at it and then the studio saw it and they went can we get can we get Danny on the phone Danny back oh W I mean I can't believe they left as many print songs in the movie as they did h Prince this will never age yeah where where and then you hear that the score is just set the [ __ ] tone

ADV that's my Batman yeah I just finished building the Batwing in Lego form can I just say I've become obsessed with following instagrammers who take old retro classic Lego sets from like when we were kids like the medieval romen Hood space all that and then just make it better oh some of the people are amazing they just go okay here's what the castle looked like here's my version of it like they just take like old castle and they just make the top no they just and they they even do it with like current sets so go like this is what they've released this is what we built and see I did that when I was a kid that mostly CU I used to lose pieces so here's the castle here's what they designed it here's my version here's what I can eyeball on it

in the middle some of these Builders do amazing work so now I'm going to have to look this up afterwards they're great and some of them actually build like 3D models uh so that you can get instructions of them and they tell you what pieces to order they can tell you what pieces and then you can just go to Lego and go I would like these pieces yeah and Lego will sell them to you can you buy any like you could just buy bulk pieces straight from right yeah yeah that's NE didn't have that when we were kids wish would make it a bit easier for some of that older Lego sets the ones that people are online trying to sell for ridiculous amounts of money like I'd love to build like the Superstar Destroyer mhm but to get a copy of that you've ever got to buy knockoff Lego
