Schrödinger's Luke: Army of the Dead & Zack Snyder’s Star Wars Movie

in case you were wondering oh that's her okay thought maybe hadn't met her before I probably should have mentioned earlier that's who that was yeah yeah probably shouldn't smoke pot in front of her but then again I don't think you the three of us have ever smoked pot together so there's that I think I mean I have but I didn't like it so I certainly didn't continue doing it and we've we've definitely never sat around and done it together no like I think I'm the same I tried it and then went I don't see the point in this why don't we go out and do something fun yeah Caine like this is really boring like get really drunk all over throw bottles through the back windows of cars we act like we're responsible we we never marij we just got really drunk

and yeah destroyed other people's property I watched this great movie that I'll recommend but Luke you have to read it because it's Danish but I I do recommend it because it's very very good and it does ma Michelson um it's called Another Round And it's about these four guys in their 40s who think to themselves like we have such a good time when we're all together and really drunk so why don't we just stay drunk permanently and that's the movie the movie is just them trying to stay permanently drunk it's wonderful see it's doable but you have to be careful cuz you can't get drunk drunk you got to find that right level y they talk about that they they go up they do too much they bring it back it's they do it scientifically I'm very bad at that I

just you need to be just above Tipsy I just drink and then all of a sudden I'm like I have to go home now that's kind of my uh my party trick mine is to stay up and be the last one drinking yeah but not at that party at someone else's party whom you just met after you left our party and then we get up in the morning and he and Luke's already left he's gone more he's well who knows where he's gone he's not at our house that's where he yeah that's all we know the chances of him being one place are the same as the chances of him being another place yeah Shing just L who knows what I get up to cuz I sure as hell don't yeah I just like meeting new people so marijuana's become uh infinitely more acceptable since we were we were teenagers so we're probably

we're we're certainly not the cool ones anymore uh oh we were never the cool ones mat but uh but we even less cool now now but is it cool to smoke it it's legal in America yeah it's just kind of like boring isn't it I don't know if it's cool to smoke anything now no Vape in Australia it's not I think vaping is cool now isn't it um tell you right see a hell of a lot that in Australia anymore no nobody Vapes here really I tell you who Vapes here old ex smokers mhm yeah CU it's healthier no it's not I'm not sure that it is I don't think they know that I think they just tell you that so that you'll do it I think they've done a very good job nicotine to it yeah I think it's good marketing like you don't need to add the

nicotine to it cuz they're not well they do so you stay addicted and keep buying it but yeah what's the point of it if it's not addictive you look cool you get to taste the weird flavors I wonder I do wonder what they taste like sometimes cuz I can I smell them and I'm like that smells awful but people do seem to like it I assume it's like a hookah right and then you smell others and you go my God that smells delicious I've never I've never tried a hookah or a hooker H I have and they're very good let's just leave it that yeah so our 420 episode is going to be wasted you shouldn't swallow Matt though we still talking about the hooker that's what I've been told you just let

it kind of go into your mouth and then straight back out well that's the same thing with the cigar you don't inhale it all the way down you're s doing it half M mhm mhm a half yeah so you're not into you you ha some into your lungs but not the full draw never got into cigars I tried I've had a couple of nice ones but more often than not I'm just like what am I doing this is like just 10 cigarettes at once yeah this is a gateway back to me smoking cigarettes no I can't afford them well now I smell so that's that's that's got that going for me I like the smell of them but uh and I find actually the the more expensive ones just hit me in the face harder than the cheap on I can do a cafe creme from time to

time creme yeah but a Romeo and Jula no it'll it'll hit me for six can't get those here of course not maybe you can now yeah well you but do you mean what what's what's happened now you've lifted the tragen burer with Cuba I thought they did didn't they they maybe they did yeah I don't know you know what I don't know there's a there's a cigar place just up the road so no have the guy on next week Mr J's Havana cigar bar or whatever the hell is okay well Havana is in Cuba so yeah I but that place isn't there a no it's up here it's in rodon it's just up the road there's a cigar place so I've never been it used to be a pizza place now it's a cigar you probably would have gone there more often if it was a pizza place still

I I went there once and then it closed and became a cigar place and you there zero time so imagine a cigar shop would be more profitable than a pizza shop but I'm not assuming the same guy was like [ __ ] it I'm not selling enough pizzas I'll just sell cigars instead yeah well I'm glad the pandemic's over guys that was uh that was a rough year it is yeah yeah it's uh we're all we're all good now so oh that might just be an American thing that it's over because it's still going on in the rest of the world I don't think so I think I think it's over I think we we' done away with the masks now and we're all good I think Victoria's in lockdown as we speak mhm I think a few other countries are as well right I think what you've happened

remember quite some time ago George Bush was on a carrier and said mission accomplished I do remember that and then you still at War for another 20 years I think it might be a case of that again it's me now he didn't say War accomplished he just said mission accomplished but what was the mission God knows I couldn't tell if you went outside here you'd swear there was no pandemic no one wears a mask we had we had one case in the Eastern suburbs 3 weeks ago and so they said for the next 3 days everyone has to wear a mask so for 3 Days people wore masks and then that was it I don't know how that if that's how it works but that's what happened yeah I think it's because we're just so quicker anything happens we shut it down quickly yeah yeah it certainly

didn't have as much drama here there as we did here with you know with it so I think you're getting up to like 15,000 1500 deaths a day at some stages yeah it was pretty bad it was yeah you guys have rolled out the vaccine a lot quicker than you started admitting there was a virus you really did you really did it it sort of became necessary after after a while yeah and now everyone who wants it already got it and so go back to normal life yeah well they have the masks required uh I I when I walk into a a place now like a store I look around I I put it on before I walk in just because you know I don't want to do I don't want to upset anybody so I walk in

I assess the situation and if no one else is wearing them I'm like okay fine I'm vaccinated and you guys are obviously okay with this so I'll take mine off M like fine the thing I find absolutely amazing is people are so so upset about this one the odds are very good that we will have another pandemic like this again in the next 40 years Again Luke is making threats out you're going to get very sick very soon yeah like we were just we were just lucky that this is the first pandemic we've actually had since the last one that we were overdue for one but we're probably going to have that's the slogan the first pandemic we've had since the last one we're overdue for a pandemic what time is it but

I think we're going to have to sort of start preparing on how to handle it in the future as well I think we've figured that out ignore seems to be working really well yeah yeah H put me in charge I'll sort it out I will have to put the chips in people though chips have you seen that people are putting magnets people are putting magnets on their arms after they've gotten the vaccine to uh I saw that [ __ ] test if there's metal inside it's like well they they wouldn't be made out of [ __ ] magnetic like yeah proof is that yeah but but also you put the magnet there the mag the metal inside won't be enough to hold that up because the magnet would be quite heavy compared to whatever's in there which would also just be floating around your

body already so putting it on your arm is kind of useless put it on the syringe and see if anything setting off the metal detectors at the airport now I do yeah sucks does hey how many times have you've been felt up at an airport well by the no I was on the I was on the no fly list for a while God knows why but I was flying in America and uh I had my penis touched quite a few times yeah but that wasn't by the uh the staff there are we talking about the hookas again don't swallow so what's been happening I've been away for a week um not a lot no and a lot at the same time wow all I've been doing mainly is playing Xbox and trying

to get achievements cuz I'm getting closer and closer to that million gamer score well that's the same thing you say every week so mhm y 15,000 away now have you been playing more Mass Effect I am I'm about half by through Mass Effect 2 ah loving it I have been playing Mass Effect one still annoyed at some of the things mhm and I suddenly I was loving it loving it and then I got up to a part that reminded me why I stopped playing it the first time around I am [ __ ] house at driving around that little car yeah you got to do that a lot I love the make yeah I I love that thing I took that thing around every planet cuz even like I skip the driving scenes in [ __ ] GTA because I suck at driving

the cars and this is worse and you want to know something they've actually improved the controls Jesus do have the the Jets it looks better alth I make that I'll give yeah okay I was trying to remember what the game was where I kept doing that it does but I keep thinking that that's just a boost and I keep preing the a button and then it just jumps and then just throws me off course even more I'm like okay this is not it's not good H I love the only thing I still like it cuz it as it moved along it got more casual in some of the things like it lost a lot of the RPG elements as it went along but the one thing I really hate that it lost is in the first game the guns overheat so you never run out of ammo in two you run out of two and three you run out of ammo which sucks

when you're playing on Insanity because playing inan in the first one you just stay back you've always got Amo but two and three you get to a stage where it's you have to hunt for ammo and it's quite hard and yeah but I'll finish number two probably tomorrow don't know who I'm going to sleep with Kelly first I've not been uh playing anything much I Potter around in Assassin's Creed Odyssey from time to time I around look at the SES take your daughter on a nice tour around Egypt yeah but that's no it's a ancient Greece you mean ancient Greece Sor yes yeah well I mean that's her name sake is is is north of there I don't think you can actually go TOA in the game but uh anyway yeah so I've not I just don't want to play anything change your name

to mikos then that I have to pay attention to yes well something you could play yes is a game called knockout city right Luke is this what you were telling me about last week yes it's uh it's free on Game Pass it is it's like it's dodge ball three on three games games last for about five minutes each okay Matt you were not here last week but Luke has put his foot down and he's told us that we're not allowed to start talking about playing any more open world or RPGs or any games that last more than about half an hour he's kiboshed that and he's saying if we're going to play things it's things like knockout City where we just drop in and drop out y I was going

to suggest we started World the warcraft Guild i' I would love to sit down and play Fallout 76 with you both yeah but for that we would have to set aside like four to 5 hours every week where we would sit down and play for that 76 I love it that as friends now in our 40s we can't spare 4 hours a week to do the thing we love most with the people we love most that's being 40 m oh and I am 40 now yeah I have to think about how old I am now that's how old I am couldn't say I was say I'm late 30s mhm very late 40ish I'm a 40 something extremely late but look this do City I'm actually somehow good at it

it's weird so it's just dodge ball it's dodge ball but it's like one Maps you're on top of a building one map you're that sounds dangerous vacuum it can take you to the other side it's yeah over the top silly and just fun and so that's a game we should look at playing this looks pretty neat yeah you're probably right but I feel like I'll have even less incentive to make time for this than something that I really care about when's Conan Chop Chop coming out did you follow that up with the devs no I I haven't I got distracted I was going to ask about that and well this is some news this week about Conan Exiles that we don't care about anymore they finally put that [ __ ] expansion out that we all wanted to play yeah thanks too little too late we've stopped

playing it now yeah I'm not playing uh sick of it sucks no new achievements I did I did buy it though the expansion did you yeah I did I thought why not it was $25 maybe I'll buy it I'll go in there solo at some have a look around that's not too bad but no I'm sorry if you want me if you want me to buy DLC you give me new achievements so there's no no achievements in the expansion at all is that what you're saying think you have to add achievements for like Xbox content or you not required you don't have to for DLC yeah right it it's wise to do it it seems odd actually cuz there's quite a bit more content yeah yeah I thought it was like a whole other map isn't it yeah with a coast and all

that kind of [ __ ] mhm mhm look neat all right oh look I mean just all the hours I've put into Conan I can't I can't not check out this new I mean every single time I've replayed Conan the only thing I've thought is holding me back is I wish there was new places I hadn't seen yet and that's what this is so yeah it's literally Ian we've given up playing together because they've pretty much told us we can't that's [ __ ] stupid well oh you tried to play the game now you can't do that if you want I know a way we could set up a ser an XBox server by not going through them I've got a friend who's got like a very good setup at home and he could set us up our own private server if we wanted I don't think you can set up an XBox server without going through the G

portal I don't like I don't think there's a a client I know he he could do it if there's a game where he he's you can do that like Minecraft or something like that he can set it up yeah we had a Minecraft server but I think with Conan I think the only way to get an Xbox One is is through the oh and for that no cuz it's not Xbox that does it it's that g portal G portal you got to go through but you can't buy them on the G portal website you have to do it through the Xbox store through the G Portal app on Xbox it's just it's it's so [ __ ] annoying garbage and the portal yeah which just doesn't work because you played the game yeah yeah exactly we talked about this right they told us that because we had THS which is you know part of the game y yeah

corrupted anyway knockout City it is then yeah what but also this North guard on here what the hell is that I have been playing a bit of North guard yeah I was looking for something to just Tinker around and I remembered you said that and yeah it's very good it's actually it's quite challenging too get killed by wolves but uh it's good my God this game's expensive is it it wasn't too expensive when I bought it oh like on Xbox at the moment it's $52 it's on Xbox bought it on Steam it was like 25 bucks I bought it on good old games but I'm still looking like the game 700 Meg no got Xbox tiny wait I don't think oh it is on it's

on I don't think it's on Xbox no it is Xbox series X series X there you go 35 bucks look look it's 1467 on Steam yeah but how do I get the Xbox achievements I don't think I'd want to play this game on the Xbox it's not that kind of game I'd need a mouse and a keyboard to play this can you use a mouse and a keyboard on the Xbox yet when the [ __ ] is it then they kept saying oh you you can you can like like as in I can use a curs now plug it in there oh not not I think you can use it in game like but I don't think you can for example if I was playing Divinity original sin can I use a mouse cursor yes I will say yes I have no idea but I'm just going to go for it with uh Mouse what I'm going to play tomorrow

after I finish Mass Effect 2 is myself pallet cleanser I'm going to play Mech Warrior 5 oh Mech Warrior oh yeah cuz it came out on part of Game Pass for PC months ago but no achievements but they've just announced achievements for it when it came out on Xbox so I'm going to give that a play and go back and remember how frustrated I got at that game five remember playing that where sometimes you just could not I could not really ever get the hang of the controls and I'd be walking this way I'm pointing to the left I'm getting shot out from the right and yeah I'm going to see if I can overcome that and actually play it this time I don't know that I'm I'm looking at the screenshots and I do remember I remember actually

not this particular Mech Warrior I remember playing an earlier one and being very frustrated by by it so I'm not sure which one I played to be completely honest with you honestly might have been Mech Warrior 2 it's been that long mine could have been the first one M Warrior yeah one images it's been a very very long time since I've played a m Warrior game and they all sort of looked the same back then no this one looks okay M Warrior 1 might be a little too early yeah M Warrior 2 looks about right actually yeah I think mcar 2 was the big one yeah I think you're right this looks looks like what I remember but I'm going to give five a try all right after I save the Galaxy well not saved the Galaxy yet I've got to fight

the big human robot thing at the end of two yeah that was cool but a little odd weird yeah they made the big skeleton monster Matt have you been watching uh any late night TV while you've been up feeding L have you been uh you binging on anything right now not really we've been watching psych still uh that show gets better that's great seasons in there is another psych movie coming out I know I saw that I can't believe I'd never heard of this show I remember seeing it long ago but then it was back where before we had like streaming services so you had to watch it on fre a and yeah that doesn't happen it's very good like the first season I thought that's pretty good it's

pretty funny but then the second we're in like the third season now I think and and it's very funny like it it kind of really found its place the only thing I can't stand about it is the [ __ ] theme song and worse than that now I know the theme song was written by the guy who created the show and so it it was like I I can't just imagine him being like oh I've written like that guy from um from Little Britain with the theme tune thing the theme tune well Paul Riser wrote The Mad About You theme song and it's great did he I believe so let me just check that the song yeah you know why tell me why I love you like I do oh like oh yeah well like when you say mad about you I always

remember that Mad TV sketch Mad About You aliens never saw that because you know he was in Aliens and it's just PA Paul Riser was in the sketch I think and it was him going oh honey and then there's alien going and that was the sketch that's great yes r with help but yes yeah right he's not the voice he's just the uh he's just the composer try and understand it so people don't know who John faram is anymore do they I know who John far is Australians would we T so like no point me telling you this story CU you guys would have forgotten who he is yeah remember John faram no fair enough Whispering Jack were you go down to John faram Rat Hole just now Matt cuz I'll allow it

yeah no no no no no I just because you said he was the voice and I said try and understand and so I yeah oh there's a line in um the mat about you theme that's very similar to that that's what I thought you were doing oh no I don't know the I said I don't really know the M about you thing so there you go there you go that was way back that was before Seinfield wasn't it yeah I guess so well maybe around the same that was late 80s back BS um I've got something to recommend Matt I've got a show to recommend what are you recommending I recommend to you too Luke um okay but uh I've mentioned this before because I'd watched season one of homecoming and I've now watched season 2 which I would say is even better than season one so if you just like kind of quirky

off kilter Mysteries then this is pretty interesting yeah yeah I never know what to recommend to Luke because he really really surprises me for example last week Matt I explain I explained the plot of equilibrium to him and uh he said it sounded amazing and then when I told him it was called equilibrium he said well no I don't want to watch it so I don't understand right but so Luke watch this if you want Matt I insist you watch this because I think you'll like it I think he's laughing at me I am all right so I'm read sounds awesome what's it called you know I told him what it was and he legitimately goes wow that sounds

amazing why haven't I heard of this I go it's called equilibrium he goes I have heard of it forget it when I just told you about it and you said it sounded great I don't know how my mind works okay neither do I so forget you Matt watch homecoming no it's not British it's American um the first season has uh oh no no I meant I meant in English cuz like as in will Luke watch it does he have to oh yes it's in English yeah um it stars see here a case worker at a facility that helps soldiers transition back to civilian life leaves to start a new life leave leaving I guess it's about that but that makes it that makes it sound awful just makes it confusing no it's very very the show you're describing Dan yeah for starters see I

don't want to describe too much cuz Luke might just talk himself out of watching it but it's set that is correct but that's the backstory and it's set with a detective trying to find out what happened to make her leave but she has no memory of being there and it's very interesting Luke It's called homecoming you still in at the moment I am I'm trying to see if there's anyone I like in it imagine if the synopsis for equilibrium was a man starts to have doubts about his job yeah that's right we should do that we should rewrite every movie synopsis but about the lamest most basic make sound [ __ ] yeah an arms dealer questions his life choices Iron Man yeah yeah see

arms deer I'm still in teenager moves to new home finds new friends The Wizard of Oz young troll goes to English boarding school Harry Potter yeah I'd watch that I'll give Harry one day I do want to watch Harry Potter honestly I do one day only that's throwing me off homecoming at the moment is the fact that I know nobody in it Julia there lot of show oh apart from Julia Roberts but that's not a draw for me she doesn't count never heard of her she's a gem Luke she has a smile that lights up a room oh no not for me Steven Spielberg thought she was good enough for Jun Davis now there greatest film Gina

Davis there's no Janet Davis if they just recast with J Davis I'm inan at the moment I'll think about Davis Rebecca amazing back in the day Clive Warren I did watch something called homecoming uh this week but it's not what not the one you're talking about it's uh it's a spider wi wink oh have you seen that before you watch that well I've been watching all the all the Marvel movies all the Spiderman yeah so I watched uh what did we I think when we last talked I'd seen Ant-Man and I've now made slight progress I've watched Civil War and uh doctor strange and Spider-Man homecoming and I just wanted to say how does Doctor Strange hold up uh not not as well as I recalled actually I remembered it being

quite good I mean it is it's fine but I was like oh okay it's not it's weaker than I remember but I I Civil War is [ __ ] excellent yeah I like Sil a lot so I just what a great like what a great movie and what a great I guess cuz it builds on just everything about the previous movies and took it in a very you know like some of the we were talking I think about how the Avengers movies were a bit silly you know they all had the same they both basically both had the same plot Avengers one and two where they fight a big army of nothing at the end and and then you know Civil War says okay you've been Avengers have been trashing all these [ __ ] cities how about some consequences and it's just I don't know

it's just really good like and there's no I mean there is a villain sort of but it's mostly just about interal conflict yeah yeah I the only thing about it that I find odd is that I I remember and it's been a while since I've seen it but I remember feeling why is this Captain America Civil War and not the Avengers Civil War oh sure I know he's a central character but yeah I mean it it doesn't feel like his name should be above the title I think it might actually have to do with contracts oh yeah I think it's something to do with contracts like he was contracted that he was going to get so many and Captain America the actual Captain America not it was an Avengers movie cuz it wasn't an Avengers movie it wasn't a Captain America movie oh yeah I mean they're all equally in it obviously

yeah so but that would be my guess but yeah civil War's great Spider-Man's delightful so it was it's it was fun [ __ ] Michael Keaton is so good in Spider-Man homecoming I forgot Michael was in it he's [ __ ] excellent in it I still love him from the first Spider-Man movie his character is just so wait how many Spider-Man movies are there yeah that's what I'm talking about that's what I'm talking about far far from home is the other one that that was garbage yeah with Jak yeah no it's um yeah cuz he's you can understand why he turned yeah so they screwed him over big time yeah yeah and that scene where I I you know cuz they keep it a secret the whole time that it's uh what's her name's father and then when Peter shows up at the house and he opens the door and you're

like oh [ __ ] like that was such a great little twist I forget what that is I forget so I'll enjoy that next time I watch it so oh I won't spoil it then no I mean you can it's fine I have seen it I'm sure I remember Michael Keon's vulture right Keon's vulture you know that stole your Ro that's right yeah but I forgive him because he was so good at it in it but so he's he yeah he's he's supposed to his company he's taking out a bunch of loans to buy equipment to clean up New York City after Avengers for the chitari Army and all that kind of stuff but then Stark comes in and like does this big you know [ __ ] corporate thing and then he gets it's not yeah and it's not like he just did this and was just think it's going to happen like he had contracts he was hired by the city

contracts were signed so he's like well [ __ ] it and he steals a bunch of that alien stuff and starts making weapons out of it and becomes an arms dealer like an alien weapon arms dealer and so you you know all that and it gets halfway through the movie and then you know Peter's dealing with school stuff as well as he does and he's in love with Liz the girl Liz at school and then finally he asks Liz out to prom and then he turns up at her house to pick her up and [ __ ] Michael Keaton knows the door CU that he's lizz's dad M and then there's that [ __ ] amazing scene where they're in the car and it's a bit silly cuz it's like he does figure out a bit easily that Peter is Spider-Man yeah and like and he commits to it pretty quickly and then pulls out a gun it's like he

might not be Spider-Man it is still a child and he might not be Spider-Man you should probably dial it back a bit but anyway it's a great well you know in the in the original Spider-Man you know his best friend's dad was the villain so I I guess in n's girlfriend's dad has to be the villain yeah that's true yeah no Harry Osborne in uh in this one at all yet so I guess although actually I I did read this week as his rumor that you know the new one's got everybody coming back so it's got Toby Maguire in it and it's going to have oh yeah they're doy thing Alfred Molina confirmed he's back as Dr Octopus that's great and um and because he said he was confused CU he was like but I I I died and they're like don't worry about it it'll be good and then uh and apparently will def foe is

coming back as [ __ ] Green Goblin that's great wonder how much of a part they're going to play though I just this is reminding me watch chew up the [ __ ] scenery as Goblin any day yeah but we've got that and then we've got [ __ ] Michael Keaton as Batman in uh in the flash yeah bring bring bring on the Nostalgia I say Batman Birdman vulture what can't he yeah I know Batman Birdman vulture he's on a he's on a trajectory yeah he'll just be a bird next yeah calling it now pterodactyl i' watch Michael ke he should have been Eggman Dr he should have been Dr Eggman in the Sonic movie oh yes missed missed opportunity did you guys watch The Animated Spider-Man

series that was in the kind of mid to late 2000s where him and Harry were slightly older and shared a flat no no it was very very good it's just them banging chicks well I mean it kind of is they're they're at college and they have a a bachelor pad but he's I mean he spends the whole time trying to bang um I was about to say Mara Jade Mara Jade um [Laughter] yeah oh Marvel bought Disney World Marvel and just smooshed it all together they're just like [ __ ] it there a great episode where the emperor shows up yeah he's a substitute teacher of the school hey I'd watch that I [ __ ] your [Laughter]

hand I have a I have a theory about some of the movies what's going to happen with the Marvel movies going forward go on now that they found out that the television shows are working well for them I think they're going to have movies as like the big battles and stuff and but they're going to go more to television shows for sort of driving the story forward and maybe have more story in it there which I think would be amazing thing to do mhm oh I don't disagree no no I think you're right yeah I think you're right I think they're definitely they're going to lean into the TV stuff more because it's been well first of all they were great and it's um I mean they're sinking a lot of money into it so they obviously committed to it m man it must be a lot of money I

mean I don't know what the numbers are but but these like falcon Winter Soldier just looked like eight Marvel movies back to back that I got to watch week to week yeah yeah just a 6our [ __ ] Marvel movie yeah Z Schneider's Marvel movie yeah that's right with there some Zack Schneider news tonight um before we get on to that though we're just talking about Star Wars Marvel crossovers have I told you my theory about why there can never be a Star Wars Marvel crossover aside from the fact that they said they've they've come out and said they'll never be but I don't believe them but sense and hurt my brain more I think I think you have mentioned this before but go on my my theory is that it can't happen because Star Wars as a film

franchise exists in the Marvel Universe because when Captain America has a list of things he missed in the 20th century Star Wars is on that list they don't mention it but you see the list for a moment and Star Wars is on it so even in that Universe Star Wars is a movie if they were going to do a cross over of that scale I don't think they'd care about that little well also there in Civil War when Ant-Man gets big and Spider-Man says Hey guys do you remember that really old movie The Empire Strikes Back and then like forgotten about that's great remember that scene with the with the Walkers and he he wraps up his legs oh really oh okay well my my theory is just one part in a huge web then that's great oh I see what you did

there yes all right so we do have some Zack Snider news now s we watched we watched well I was going to go to Army of the Dead first oh you can go there first for sure cuz I me Hannah sat down and watched it I've got to watch this yeah it's pretty good it's not as gory as I was sort of expecting huh there is some stuff like people getting their sort of head cut off and ripped off and stuff and bit of blood but yeah nowhere near as much as you'd expect from a zombie movie it's not gory people get their heads ripped off and stuff just what you'd I mean I grew up in penth so you know nothing you wouldn't see down at the Tuck Shop well is it interesting it's it's a bit different doesn't explain how it starts or anything like

that but there's a part in the middle of the movie go and watch it and see if you can work out what the hell they're talking about there's one part of the movie I'm a bit confused about will we know it when it comes up or do you want to give us a clue you will know it okay all right we'll know it all right it's it's about the room before the safe okay that's the only hint but watch for that it's say out quite a bit and it's I don't understand it okay like it just seems out of place and it doesn't come back either so oh okay interesting I do want to watch this I almost put it on night before last actually and I hey I'm I'm going to put this out there Zack Snider give up on your DC movies just go back and make more zombie movies he's forced to give up on them yeah yeah he

has given up on it don't worry don't you worry about that this is his second one and it wasn't bad like I enjoyed it okay well I mean the first one was so Zack Zack SN did a you know those wired uh Google interview things where they ask you they have the questions from Google whop it off and I I watched his one and I it was kind of like interesting he seems very not naive but like because he said at the start he goes they they go oh do you ever Google yourself and he goes oh no no no I don't I don't do any of that kind of stuff and like then he's like not on social media he's only on Vero cuz he's a you know that's his preferred thing in that and then even when he was looking at the questions and you know how they worded stupidly like

bad bad with bad grammar he was like he's like oh that's poor wording and he he would rephrase the question go well it's it should be this kind of thing like he just didn't get it and I was like that so telling that he's just [ __ ] a little Biv doesn't give a [ __ ] he's he's just doing his own thing and you can like I don't know that's just so perfectly sums up how I feel about his movies too like he just doesn't give a [ __ ] what you think yeah Luke when you watched Army of the Dead that job that's not something you can just get away with that all the time because apparently it is if you I mean he he gets fired off as many movies as he gets hired for I don't know if you call him successful fight on one hasn't he yeah I guess so um Luke did you notice while you were watching

it that an actor after the fact had been digitally removed and another actor had been digitally replaced no so after they' shot and edited the movie it came out that an actor called Chris deia had been a bit rapy and so they digitally erased him from the film and superimposed Tig Notaro into all of his scenes wow no if you didn't notice then I think they must have done a really great job yeah a lot of people but they they kind of people said afterwards like I thought Chris was in this movie and then they were like oh and I didn't know T was in it and then it's like oh okay apparently no one noticed oh so they didn't they didn't put a they didn't put a little thing up saying um tigar no Chris De will not be came out afterwards off

raping yeah right well cuz he was in all the promo shots back at the you know when they were filming it and stuff and so I guess they just I don't think I know who either of these people is I'll be completely honest with you yeah know never seen was he a comedian think he was a comedian like I KN know I know of him he looks rapy that's for sure I'm trying to work out who who they were yeah I would let my daughter near this guy copy um TIG what's her name is the girl from um she's in oh she yeah mandalorean right yeah uh no no no that's uh Strangers With Candy oh you're right y 's a comedian but oh she was cuz

actually yeah what she St Tre Discovery that's what she's in Star Trek Discovery that's why I've seen her recently cuz she was great in this and yeah I didn't know that that wasn't her she wasn't great in this Luke she wasn't in this and then she was was so liked her character she was probably my favorite character in the in the movie yeah well she prepared for this role by being in a Star Wars movie where you just act to Post-it notes yes well that's the that's what I was about to say she didn't she didn't interact with any other cast they just filmed her stuff separately against the green screen and literally superimposed her in wow great job yeah Zack Snider for the win now there is also some some other

Zack Snider news yes Zack Snider was in talks several years ago now to do a Star Wars movie and uh this was going to be separate from the well it's not a Trilogy what do you call it when it's nine movies uh just the Skywalker Saga yeah the it was going to be separate from the Skywalker Saga it was going to the plot was going to be closer to Seven Samurai which was the film that George Lucas stole a lot of the of the original Star Wars from and it never happened but he's still going to make it it's just not going to be called Star Wars Star Wars he's just going to make a science fiction movie he's right which go for it but I don't know I haven't seen him do well with sci-fi or is that just me what's he done at sci-fi I'm

trying to think yeah that's what I mean like I don't think he has like the closest he's got would be sort of the DC stuff like the Marvel the yeah the DC movies which let's have a look what do we got here trying yeah he's very Superman I mean superhero Watchman 300 yeah yeah I just don't know I mean I would say Sucker Punch is arguably science fiction but I don't remember thinking much of that was Legend of the Guardians the owls of Gul a science fiction movie I would say like his man his Superman and Batman stuff is science fiction not quite but does I think still fit in with that it does suit your narrative where you don't like his science yeah that's true yeah well look so he's doing

just not a Star Wars movie just a science fiction movie that's he's just doing the same like so you know what this is probably going to be great I mean that's kind of what we want isn't it something that's feels like Star Wars but isn't Star Wars because they've they've killed Star Wars now yeah very confusing form yeah so he's just taken he's just taken his script for Star Wars and he's just going to change the names it's kind of the it's like the opposite of what we've talked about Hollywood doing with Highlander and that yes exactly yeah I don't know we'll wait and see which Matt is exactly what I think they should do with Highlander too is that I think they should unbrand it I think they should yeah right just make make it go back to its original

name whatever that might have been yeah lowlander blow Lander yeah yeah we we'll see the I'm not holding out a lot of Hope the Quest for the ozone layer yes now that's gone that is gone 2 was originally called I imagine but it rebuilt itself behind theide and the Quest for the ozone layer watch it if it was called that yeah yeah M what are that would be great you go through and you re-edit all of Michael movies rire I'd like to see that change so that Michael iide was the hero you know Michael iide was good in uh what the [ __ ] was that movie I watched they talked about I can't remember the name of it turbo kid oh yeah I actually just

watched turbo kid this week as well did you like it oh and I didn't mind it it's it's strange yeah it's fun though it's very gory forgotten that uh that I wanted to watch that so I should put that back on the list it's Charming I think in a gory way yes I like charming and gory then this might be the movie for you some neat actually had some neat little twists in it too like yeah it it was good given how simple the plot was it did there were a couple things where I was like oh that's clever like Okay I uh didn't mean to but I accidentally watched a whole bunch of Roman palansky movies this week um because I to make excuses

Denny I didn't mean to now I know it's not cool to watch Roman palansky movies but boy the man can make a [ __ ] film and um his horror movies are great there two things he's good at that's one of them that's one yeah yeah um three things if you want to include eluding responsibility um so I watched I started off by watching good point good point I started off by watching The Ninth Gate which is fantastic I've seen it a bunch of times but it's just so enjoyable it's just so fun so I watched that and then I watched frantic cuz I realized it been a while since I'd seen that and that's the one where Harrison Ford literally only says my wife um as pretty much all of

his dialogue but ludin seure plays the EXA see yeah very frantically she plays the exact same character in frantic as she does in The Ninth Gate mysterious French girl who shows up halfway along helps the protagonist but you're never really sure if she's a hero or a villain it's exactly the same role and she also play stairs yeah no she didn't do that but she did play the role of Roman Palin's wife in both of those as well uh as she has done every day for the last 30 odd years huh but I don't know why he just made it the same character let stick with what works for yeah but I'm going to keep going I watch take that advice for everything though yeah especially from palansky yeah if you did it once and got away with it keep doing it yeah yeah

maybe not no but I want to I want to watch that next and there's some of the old ones repulsion and the Tenant and I want to watch want to keep going cuz uh they're good they're good while you still well you can still watch them yeah before they've just I to by wokeness I want to watch Chinatown again just because I read something about it this week and I don't even remember what it was but it just made me I should watch that again yeah I want to watch Chinatown again and then uh Who Framed Roger Rabbit which is the same storyline as Chinatown yeah movies yeah they are I mean Roger Rebel was one of those kids movies back in the day where you can make kids movies quite dark I remember at that

part where he comes home and rog's in his house he's like how'd you find out where I live [ __ ] out of me yeah or the [ __ ] um judge doom and the [ __ ] tunes and yeah it's creepy as [ __ ] but even just the part where he says oh I asked the um guy at the grocery shop where you lived he didn't know and then I asked the mailman where you lived he didn't know and then I asked guy at the liquor store he knew like you know like you just wouldn't put a joke like that in a kid show anymore yeah see watch that too great movie I don't remember it like at all Dumbo's in it yeah he is yeah I went and read the book that it's based on briefly oh yeah Roger Rabbit or Dumbo Roger

Rabbit the book though was called who killed Roger Rabbit which I find kind of ironic because the movie is called Who Framed Roger Rabbit right but everyone used to call it who killed Roger Rabbit and it's like no no no no one kills Roger Rabbit he gets framed yeah for murder yeah yeah you know what so is that where the confusion comes from from the book no I don't think it is and actually I think I've got that wrong Roger Rabbit book I think it's called something else now that I've said it now that I've said it now that I've put it out there the book is called who censored Roger Rabbit so forget it but that is a terrible title and also doesn't make sense yeah no he oh kind of does not really he was on Twitter M than

joking I we were actually you'd wanted off we were trying to figure out which one of us offended you oh we know we knew oh you wait till the after party there's been a lot of talk about uh Russian hackers and and whatnot in the news these days and this was a neat little thing that if you're concerned about it it might be worth trying apparently because they want to avoid prosecution from from the government where they are say Russia they all their little hacking tools have a fail safe where if you've got a Russian language keyboard installed on Windows you won't be affected H so it's such a simple little thing isn't it like well we don't want to scam other Russian apparently all their little Mal their malware I

mean this is not a guarantee that you'll be okay but but apparently the mware only Russia no but the malware it gets on computer does a check and it says has this person got a Russian keyboard installed and if it does it's like well no I we don't want to get prosecuted in Russia we're out yeah that's sort of funny cuz I know I've seen stuff um with the Indian CT Center scams oh yeah um the Indian government it's sort of hard for them well to actually even care because it's not affecting anyone there them to care guys we would step in but it is just hard for us to Care yeah we've try really hard don't give a sh no crimes being committed against someone from India so yeah no they go after all the well they yeah they think they're rich Americans but if

you watch any of the uh the Youtube videos where they scam the scam the scammers they don't get [ __ ] who they're scamming no they they they prefer people who yeah who will just the elderly elderly yeah mhm yes I'll run down and buy you these gift cards so yeah I don't know how people still fall for it yeah listeners no one gets paid in gift cards there was an article this in the news.com this week about a woman who went to call get gift cards and then they management pulled her up and went have you read this and yeah she was getting done by a boss scam like her boss had contacted her by email and going hey can you go buy some gift cards for a SC thing yep so for the work and

then just send me the codes but she knows who it is it's her boss like is she going to be like when are you going to pay me back for the so you're saying I should start a company hire a bunch of people and then scam them damn yeah well no I think that's called capitalism and every boss does it but like get work credit card she she's got the work credit card so she can charge it she gets an email from the boss going hey can you just run down pick up these gift cards yeah s me to codes this is for a little competition we're running at work I don't not his problem no no no what I'm saying is it wasn't her BS oh it was a scammer had emailed her sent her down to guess you you did leave that essential part of the story out it's a minor

detail in fact you said her boss emailed her yeah hey Matt here's my credit card run down and buy me the things I want cuz you called it a boss scam as well the boss is scamming her that's thought I'm like what it's yeah so essentially what you're saying is you could do that to anyone who has a company credit card and go hi this is your boss right use that credit card yeah okay people are out there uh stupid that the reason why all these core sensors and scams still exist is because they're making money yeah oh yeah of course yeah if it wasn't working they wouldn't be doing it exactly which is sort of scary cuz you see some of these call centers that have like 20 30

people in them and they're making enough money to pay them yeah while hiring the officers yeah but I don't think they pay them a lot you don't have to do that where they where they are no it's still profitable for someone yeah but I was uh you know we talked about Ponzi schemes a few weeks ago scamming them through capitalism um the we talked about Ponzi schames you scam is where they hire you and then they don't pay you yeah well they hire you and they just they make you do that their work for them and then they pay you a wage but you have to keep going back and doing more work if you want to get paid more it's a [ __ ] scam bastards Ponzi schemes about how like how does a Ponzi scheme even work in the favor of the person who's scamming right because

eventually it's just going to spiral out of control but I was reading about always get caught yeah yeah right but I was reading about this kind of there were a lot of Ponzi schemes going in the early days of cryptocurrency right um but apparently these guys who were into crypto were kind of they knew these were Ponzi schemes but the the kind of gamble was could you get in make money and get out before the scammer like reached the Tipping Point of the Ponzi scheme like that's some next level [ __ ] ballsy [ __ ] like get scammed you're getting scammed yeah but yeah try and scam someone else on the way through yeah yeah scam I saw some message I forget where I saw it but someone was um decided that

we're going to buy like Bitcoin or one of the coins went look I've just invested 5,000 as now saying I've only got $3,000 worth how do I get that sorted and I you don't understand how this works yeah you probably shouldn't have done that yeah you've just lost $2,000 but keep it cuz tomorrow you might have made 10,000 cuz who the [ __ ] knows yeah depends what Elon mus decides to tweet yeah it's down about $30,000 I think at the moment Bitcoin took a real dive it's supposed to be a currency like it's not but is just so silly this whole thing this this could not work as a currency no like with the fluctuation has it's not even being treated as one anymore now it's like it's like it's a like a stock yeah like it's an investment but it's not supposed to be

it's supposed to be a currency we're supposed to be using it was going to replace it was going to replace fiat currency but like because like yes the the dollar changes every day but when that changes it's changing by of% type of thing not $30,000 yeah and and it fluctuates with the market like this is completely separate from everything yeah yeah except Elon Musk South African prick I don't know about you guys but I'm thinking about heading over to the Afterparty mhm oh yeah what do you guys think do you think will alyia get in she's underage a bit young I mean but look she's not going to drink well she's goingon to she'll drink milk I don't mind the occasional milk
