Force Her Horizon 5: Star Wars Eclipse Trailer & Bond Stays British

[Music] welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy another year and the game awards are over did anyone actually watch them no did I win I tried did I win anything I watched a lot of trailers I forgot to nominate you again um I'm sorry about that and you know what we got to make a game again there's also that I don't think we forgot we just are too lazy we just didn't yeah yeah it's not too lazy it's just life gets in the way of us doing stuff we do have a game planned out and and actually we we do have a little demo that's true yeah and it had audio and

every time I click on that demo and play it I'm like why aren't we making a game we made this well Matt Matt made this all on his own to prove he could make a game yes we were just here and part of the not the proc you guys said could we make one and I said hereo I did and then yeah no we definitely can even if we make a game that's only as good as that 5c demo you made sure that's still good enough for me you know what2 game awards here we come yeah least time put into a game I I honestly I did sit down and try to watch it but it's like watching the Oscars it's just while it's being in the industry it's probably amazing you get that award for me I just there's a lot of people talking at

me yeah yeah and doesn't like to listen anymore he doesn't read but now he's escalated he doesn't like to be talked to well no it's more so you know some of the presenters that they get on and they feel like they're talking down to you that's cuz they're up on the stage yeah yeah no but I don't know there's just this whole thing that I just know it's because they're our social betters Luke they're they're at an awards ceremony we're watching it at home from our bedrooms they're better than you and they know it so I tried gave up and then I just watched some trailers well there'll be some trailers we can talk about there'll never be a better moment at the game awards than there was a few years ago when disco aliia won even though no one in the audience even had

played it or knew what it was and the developers got up and thanked marks and angles for political education mhm that or um when they mck Gordon performed the Doom soundtrack live that was also very good so who won anything do we even know I don't know oh I forgot to pay attention to that part I was I was blinded by trailers for Horizon 5 won a fair few things I know they won Innovation inaccessibility and who did music a forer did you say y okay Forza Forza Forza or Forza where's that t coming from it's it's how it's pronounced it's foreign is it yes I've been saying force her all these years oh it's different different game different game now oh I'm sorry I'm thinking of something not that one from high school yeah it's forer Horizon in

meico yeah mine takes place in Mexico is that how that's pronounced okay meic is it it I thought it was technically you're correct yeah yeah I don't think you're allowed to pronounce it that way but that's what it's called see this I get upset when people go this is what my name is in this language no it's not your name is your name I would love it if we just decided one day all countries in the world are pronounced the way the people in those countries say it that's how it should work like we still say Germany because that's what the Romans called deand you know what I mean like the ancient Roman well my Italian teacher told me my name in Italian was Mato mhm and I even back then I was skeptical because I was like well hang on how does that work all

languages their own pronunciation yeah exactly which one came first yeah yeah I always come first I have heard that I have heard that I'm assuming that uh doesn't make any sense either that that like because those are they are quite similar but anyway oh one probably did lead to the other but they didn't go I'm naming you mat because you're in Australia but if we're over there yeah that's right for example if somebody named Mato came to Australia and said hi my name's Mato I wouldn't be like oh hi Matthew please to meet you yeah speak English sorry it's just this little pet peeve I've got when people for all my name is this and your name is your name no that's a different name in a

different country yeah yes yeah back on track games games so possibly the most exciting one was that Star Wars one for me oh my God Star Wars Eclipse people are poo pooing it a little bit cuz it's I'm not they just uh I'm going to wait a little bit no I'm all in well there's two things people poo pooing one is that it was well it was cinematic right the there's no indication of what this game is like what is the game we don't know if it's it could be an animated film for all we know it could be like not the old nights Republic it could be like uh the Fallen order it's it's Quantic dream so it's probably an interactive movie and so people are like well okay like Detroit I'll watch that and play that

but if it's an indic if the trailer is an indication of tone then this is the exact right tone I want my Star Wars content to be the one I sort of didn't like about it cuz it was sort of talking about like the Old Republic like it wasn't set in high Republic High Republic and then there's Yoda you know yeah actually that that now that you mention it that doesn't make any sense I didn't see yod did how did I [ __ ] miss that I've watched this twice Republic was like a couple of thousand years only 800 900 900 yeah I he's dead 900 year old you reach look great you will not I don't know maybe he was just referring to his old head shots when he said

that maybe he just me 900 years in the beiz they remain a baby for over 50 years yeah maybe it was a different uh one of whatever he is there's no I'm calling it Yodas yeah gr and that's and that's the only thing that's sort of annoying in this when they try and cram stuff in to go hey still we still got stuff from The Originals you don't need stuff from The Originals seriously where was he I didn't I never saw him a shot of the Jedi Council and there's it looks like Yoda looking out the window cuz it's you know one of whatever he is from behind but it could easily it could just easily not be him I don't usually look at him from behind I know what yod looks like from behind yeah like you guys honestly I'm going to look at it again because I'm sure this was so

obvious that I'm going to feel embarrassed for not noticing him but I was just I actually thought it was Yoda too and then Luke said that and I'm like oh yeah that doesn't make sense so so it may not be we know nothing about the game that's true apart from it's in the high Republic well it actually it I think it said it the high Republic with the more recent Series so maybe it is Yoda young Yoda yeah up is literally baby Yoda they were like people loved [ __ ] the not baby he's the actual baby Yoda yeah yeah oh that' be great but anyway yeah it's it's beautiful tones great okay sure yeah I mean that's Yoda isn't it I did sort of like the fact there was no coming soon there was not even a date on it year or anything

it was just a we're making this yeah now wait the way the title resolves at the end where you because all the way through for those who haven't seen it it's just keeps cutting back to this eclipse in progression and then right at the end and it finally eclipses it just kind of reveals in like this kind of glint of light the Star Wars logo it's they rarely are allowed to play around with their logos like that and that kind of tone is not something we've seen which makes me think that maybe someone has been told yeah do this however you want yeah I think with the games they're they're trying to give them a little bit more freedom M it seems like a more serious kind of story just based on that like it looks very um

artsy I guess maybe it's a very let's just sit back and wait the three to four years for that's a yeah that's a good word yeah yeah that's a good word adult yeah I like adults so yeah Star Wars Eclipse uh there's an expanse game from Telltale one actually concerned me a little bit two surprises two surprises one is an expanse game and the other is that Telltale still exists I thought that was well yeah I mean I mean they're really poking their head out they're doing it they they were purchased by um the walking Dead game company um that's Telltale cuz remember when sorry The Telltale is The Walking Dead company isn't it no no no so Telltale went out of business when they

were making the last Walking Dead game right The Walking Dead guys had started a game shudio and they brought out Telltale to finish that game and get that out now what's concern me is the reason why Telltale sort of went under the first time was they started buying all these big licenses m and weren't making enough money from all the money I spending on licenses now they still got The Wolf Among Us season 2 that's in the works coming out I actually really like The Wolf Among Us oh I'm really looking forward to it and a lot of people are going Hey where's the announcement for that they're going sorry it just didn't line up and then they've gone out and named another big license it's like maybe you should focus on the one game before you start jumping ahead again cuz

we don't want you to do what it looks like you I don't know if you play as drun in this game I mean she's clearly in it it looks like you play as her you play as her yeah see that's [ __ ] dope so all right mhm cool yeah like I I really want to play it bring it on it means I'll go back and watch the expanse a bit more cuz I still haven't gone back to it since season 2 I actually have to go back and watch it as well season two is yeah season six is just about to come out so yep I finished Foundation this week uh which was excellent and it made me want more science fiction television so I'm going back to the expans as soon as I can want old school science fiction television you mean yeah this is not that Luke but honestly please watch the foundation I think you'll like it I will

I I promise I will get around to it it's more like it's tonally more like Raised by Wolves but with the scope of Star Wars or Dune or or one of those kind of big well it's the original Galactic Empire that everyone stole their Galactic Empires from going to I'm going to no no cuz Foundation set in the future sit in the past collecting Empire so Trump he's got you yeah yeah speaking of Dune there's a new Dune game there is a new Dune game I mean there's a hint both of you were going to love it what's that it's I need that both of you were going to like it because it looks like Civilization yeah civilization but it's June well I mean it's like the old the old June games right yeah June 2 yeah well not the the

first one was more of an adventure game the second one was an RTS they like completely changed it for some reason this one doesn't actually say really what it is except it's a full forx exploration I think the press release said it was an RTS so I know I need to actually go through cuz I've got all the press releases the key image the key image was oracus in a hand so I'm assuming that's symbolically trying to tell me that I will control and the spice they said Aus a lot in that trailer this is a press release four times RTS I guess four player RTS no I thought that four times was that exploration tyly type stuff oh is it I believe so all right because I doubt they turn

this into a co-op Oh you mean like North guard is that forex's are abbreviations for explore expand exploit and exterminate see now I'm very excited okay yeah yeah it's it's it's like it's civilization I mean that's that's that's how I describe my dating habits you know expand exploit and then exterminate use the Dennis method I I think yeah look the other game that sort of came out that I was sort of looking forward to was a bit of a shock was the new Star Trek one yeah made from the old developers from Telltale yeah did they show anything I saw a screenshot of what looked like Spock there yeah yeah yeah there's a trailer yeah it's it's going

to be like a story game like the old til Tale games they look very cartoony yeah it's Telltale they just look fun yeah I like those episodic games those story ones where you basically you can't do anything wrong like canot get the you can't really die got click on things until you click on the right thing yeah you might get a good or bad ending but just make choices I enjoy it yeah no I'm uh I'm excited about a lot of those I'm surprised by the Alan Wake announcement Alan Wake too means I'm going to have to go back and force myself to finish Alan wag one game that I love the story of and just hate the actual repetive combat of the game Throw Down the easiest difficulty and go I did

but it doesn't make it more interesting it makes it easier but it doesn't make it more interesting yeah but makes you can speed through some of that stuff and Luke this will make you happy I saw a tweet from one of the developers or one of the team yeah they've been working on this for 10 years huh have they though just been working on it in on the on the side like I guess hiding it from the bosses see he's still not happy he's still not happy no I meant like they've been working on they didn't announce it which although it's this the the release dat is 2023 so it's not quite what you were after you wanted it to be like here it is Allan W you played it already it's we installed it on your Xbox while downloaded yeah

but you just finished it I I've got no problem announcing stuff but that ramp up to like that release time when they start advertising you don't need to do that you you wait till the game's gone gold and you know it's going to ship and then go hey we're releasing this game now it's not how the world works I'm sick of games just excited for a game and then it gets delayed for 6 months and well I think it's because 6 months before the end where they haven't finished it they have run out of money and then they go back to their Finance years and go can we get some more money and they're like does anyone even know about this do you know anyone's going to buy this yeah trust me just ask Luke let's

put up some posters and see no no just get tell them tell the investors to get in contact with me it's buses now I'll let every bus that goes past my house has oh yeah like a complete rap witha title I don't think like GTA 5 mate GTA 5 still Skyrim again yeah but but they have actually Sky yeah Skyrim's back in the news and you both give them money again have you seen that somebody's done a speed run Skyrim in like a ridiculously small amount of time does it include the really terrible part at the start where you have to sit there you just got to sit there in the C oh

yeah I think that's the worst part of starting a new play through and SC is you have to go through all of that again where just just let wait for your turn to be decapitated mhm a dragon I watch that guy run away and get shot in the back like a coward over and over again it's my favorite part of the game no no no I'm going he's not the coward he took a chance Mass Effect the worst for that stuff though now that thinking about it right cuz Mass Effect you go the first one cuz you go you start and then you're like I'll make a custom character and then you make you go that looks pretty good you start the game and then oh that's hideous you go [ __ ] what's wrong with his face and then you have to start all over again yeah that's

why I tend to stay away from any adjustments to the face or maybe just very minor maybe some makeup stay away from color from face and actually follow a tutorial to how to create attractive Shepherds yeah go defaults attractiv shepherds. there is that actually I don't know if it's called that but definitely there's definitely dedicated to how people made their F the Character Creator in that is just and if you are not paying attention you go from front on it looks great and then you get in the game turns aside they've got the huge nose or their cheek down here or yeah or just it looks okay when you're playing but then when you see it in a cut scene you're just like that is that

is mong I don't know what's you spend a hell of a lot of time for something that you don't really see too often or you do with Mass Effect but like in um cyber Punk oh sure didn't really see your character unless you were making an effort to go see your character and change your outfit well it's important something like Fallout cuz you look at them all the time but then the first thing you do is go and put on a helmet yep yes yeah and in Fallout 4 all the clothes looked like crap so yeah Fallout 4 dropped the ball with with clothes didn't it and tried to make it too interesting in of ofid you go look I do want to wear this but then I got want to put this armor

which you think goes over the top but it doesn't but that's what I'd love to have seen at the game WS like here's Fallout 5 you're already playing it look down but we are a long way from Fallout 5 cuz s got Fallout 76 making the money we've got Starfield and Skyrim 6 I don't think they've even announced Fallout I mean we say this a lot but we we could give Fallout 76 AO okay I've been through this with you both the idea is there but we need to be able to fight about 6 to seven hours a week just for gameplay I I can tell you right now I do not play 6 to S hours of gaming a week anymore but if we're going to play like this huge multiplayer like

building our base and working together and going we need to dedicate time yeah yeah don't have it which we I don't even have that and if we were to do that I would yeah I wouldn't be able to play any of the games the other games that I want to play like I already into the Galaxy which I'm still enjoying play and uh I want to finish fall in order that's what I want to do that was I finished that that was good no full offing of um oh Dishonored oh yeah I want to play the Dishonored games because they're great games I've played through the little bit of the first one and there's two more games you know what got announced this week stalker 2 will be on Game Pass day one that's oh perfect been the case for a very long time oh okay

well the [ __ ] definitive list came out this week and I was excited no I think you talking about it's it's always been coming to game pass on Xbox I think for they've renamed PC uh Xbox for PC oh is that right Xbox game pass for PC PC game pass for PC and yeah that's easy to remember except for me but yeah and now they've listed all the day one ties coming to that as well got it so that's probably where that came from but no what I'm Halo came out this week yeah well the the single player and I am loving it really MH because it's not like other Halo games okay go on positive it's yeah no no they' they've changed it so it's hasn't gone back to the same format as

you just play everything's in a mission you go you are in an open world and it's sort of I love that open World stuff where you want me to go that way and do this Mission I'm going to go over here and just liberate this base or take out rescue these marines and really that was open world interesting so it is yeah it's a little bit different and so you could you unlock like bases and that's where you can go and get change your AR change your weapons and get vehicles and vehicles and stuff but to get better vehicles and stuff you have to unlock Valor which means you go through and liberate a base or you help some Marines out and you get things unlock I don't know it just it's speaks to me I like this type of stuff that sounds interesting I'll say that and that's I

mean it's I was going to say free it's not free because I pay for Game Pass but it's on Game Pass right it's on Game Pass yes so but that leads us into the next thing which is yes we saw a trailer yes yeah um I'm a little nervous by what I saw we talked about tone before when we talked about the Star Wars Eclipse trailer it's it's hard to judge the tone of this series by this trailer yeah cuz it was like the trailer for the HALO Series I don't think we said that yeah we didn't say it we hinted at it and then all just yeah cuz it was like shots of space and then just shots of the actors looking into the distance but no act not really anything happening and is it me or did Master Chief just look like a

cosplayer oh I it looks I think he always will great he always will that's the that's the tricky part about doing fantasy and sci-fi on in TV shows it's the same thing especially with I have to watch Wheel of Time uh which is just like why does foundation work but Wheel of Time doesn't you know what I mean like how what is it that makes one look like cosplayers out out in the woods and the other one look like a fully fully realized Universe I think the Master Chief suit I mean we've seen so many cosplayers it's it's I think it's always going to look like that cuz that's what you used to seeing that's the context you used to seeing I don't know I just for me it just it looked

plastic okay what is it supposed to be made of like metal okay I I yeah maybe it's future plastic look I'm hoping that ends up being a bit more like forward onto Dawn where it's not the story of Master Chief just running around killing everything and being awesome that more about the The Human Side of it the people who aren't great and I also go back to remember Master Chief the Spartan program and master chief they weren't created to fight aliens so created to fight humans to put down insurrectionists yeah oh you want to rebel against this we're going to kill you i' that's real life yeah mhm so I don't know I'm I'm still going to watch the hell out of it because I

love Halo but yeah I'm just hoping I I think mattch brought this up for yeah like when you listening to the remember they had the podcast yes that was good and you you started listening to it and it was just talking about how great he was as a kid and stuff and you were sort of like eh but then like if you kept listening it wasn't it wasn't that it was about this whole investigation about how these kids were stole yeah I'm glad I persisted with it because yeah in fact in fact I wouldn't mind listening to that again yeah so the conceit of it is that it starts out like this fan cast of like in the world of Halo this guy's making a podcast about how great Master Chief is but then he starts getting contacted by these people who are like it's not what you think you

know the span program is not what you think and then this podcast in World podcast he gets caught up in they call call it a podcast though do they I can't remember I I just remember like I'm glad I persisted with it cuz just at one point it it CH it just changed completely and I was like oh this is very good oh that's czy I think they yeah hunt the truth I think it was you do highlight something though that I think is I mean there's no way around it cuz this is just the nature of games but you always play the one the chosen one the best you know what I mean like cuz you have to but I also gets sick of just hearing people other players tell me how good I am you know what I mean like it would be funny to do a game where you didn't but then also it wouldn't be as

good exactly like imagine you playing Skyrim and they were like oh you you you just missed the dragon born he was here 5 minutes ago just a bunch of dead bodies everywhere for me and they're like for you no any treasure left no he took everything wheels of cheese yeah that's right he dumped some old weapons down here that he thought were useless a there's a rusty Broad Sword you could pick through this yeah ancient bow I actually think that's why my favorite Halo games aren't the master chief ones yeah are there other reach T where you're not playing the main character no you play Odus T the rapper I think orbital drop shock trooper I think

they are right drop shock yeah yeah I'm about to drop some Shock and then they get turned into Spartans later spoilers they found out you don't need to steal children and train them from then you can just we don't need and theor hey stealing children and training them is a Trope of Science Fiction and I will not have you say a word against it I bet they don't show that in the television show speaking of Science Fiction uh did you guys see the galactic star Cruiser uh trailer last week when it dropped I hope you saw it last because it has since been deleted I did what what trailer there was a trailer with uh some guy from some TV show that I didn't know what it was was it okay now I'm not going to be funny Matt you saw this

right I did yes were they implying that he was like a special needs child I don't think so I think it was just his performance I I was oh that's is this in the picture is that him cuz that's just the guy from The Goldbergs that's him yes yes I don't know what that is but he plays this like a sweet little [ __ ] boy it's yeah the the so this video was quite bad I got to say it wasn't as bad as I was expecting based on the backlash but it it is quite I mean I saw it before there was backlash and I was like what am I watching and the Highlight seemed to be there'll be a singer yeah it was not I mean when the the hallway shots and stuff I was looks cool no it was like a TW singing a a modern sounding pop song about Star Wars

something that's going to cost $4,000 to go to this oh going don't forget this if it was based purely on this video you would not want to go put it I'm not watching any video I am going because so many people went that's awful that Disney went oh that's not it sorry wrong one delete they put another one up where it showed some actual you know interesting space stuff but this one was so only time I'm worried about spoilers don't care for television shows movies but I don't want my experience at a hotel ruined so I'm no one's going to go stay with me at this place no no no we will but hopefully they'll make it better between well this video don't care about what the video looks like I'm hearing good people saying it's

enjoyable to go there so a YouTuber I I like Jenny Nicholson has booked a stay there and she's going to do a exhaustive review of it so I'll get to find out is she going to take a little special needs boy with her maybe maybe yeah the video is so odd cuz he's like the yeah the only thing they showed they showed the the the corridors of the hotel which I was like oh that's cool cuz it looks like a St looks great and then he wanders into a bar but I didn't show much of it and then a tweet came out and sang a song and I was like what is this yeah and they like hold on it for a long time then they discuss it yeah and then people rightly were like wait is that it like that's your ad for the [ __ ] Star Wars Hotel a

special needs boy goes to a bar and and and watch as a singer songwriter yeah very odd uh yeah they pulled it so yeah it wasn't it didn't they put up new ones with the lightsaber training and and the uh some other stuff I don't want to spoil for L am I allowed to do the lightsaber training why would it is lightsaber training I've seen only kids in the video but no no no no no no I've seen a grown man doing it okay yeah out they tackled it pretty quick but he was doing for a bit can I just say though if the security were dressed like Stormtroopers that would be totally worth it yeah and as as we discovered at the PowerHouse Museum Luke and I will

happily shove children out of the way if they're picking up too much they were they were pushing in yeah it's our turn when did you two go to the Powerhouse I love the power house it was um it was a while back oh not Powerhouse it was in CRA it was um Quest oh yeah love quest too yeah there was a it was it was like a see how fast you can throw the baseball thing and this kid just kept pushing in and run to the front of the liner so we told him off yeah yeah kids suck we were a lot bigger than him so he left yeah about 30 years [Laughter] bigger should learn some manners yeah just because we're old and look like parents that don't really want to and your parents don't want to really be

there it doesn't mean that we don't want to be there yeah it's like you you wanted you wanted to go in the helicopter where you can pretend to fly a helicopter those kids would not let me look got bullied out of a helicopter by piss off old man yeah this is our helicopter yeah I went back another time and there was no one there and I got in it this is not 100 me so much fun well look once we are all allowed to travel and oh how how old are how old are your kids going to be before you take them to Disneyland I don't know cuz here's what I've been thinking cuz Hannah doesn't really want to stay at the Star Wars Hotel so oh she's not maybe the boys stay

there the girls go somewhere else yeah I don't think that's going to play I'll be honest no I don't no I I I know Jenna's going to want to stay there oh is not going to allow us to do something Star Wars without her exactly Jenner as well so it looks like Hannah's having a week person SP day yeah y yeah and looking after the kids [Laughter] sure cuz I I I I don't want to have cuz I I want to go but then there nothing worse than so taking kids that are too small to go on anything it's you rais a good point though like it's so expensive that it's almost seems silly to take the kids right yeah like Disneyland in general I think until they're old enough

to appreciate otherwise you're literally you're just hamstringing yourself for no good reason you're not going to have asks you to take them to Disneyland right don't take them CU When you see you you go to Disneyland and you see the sort of the the family there that all their kids are sort of five and under and it's sort of like you've spent hundreds of dollars to come here and you can't go in anym they're all hot you can't whoa oh right I see temperature they're so hot yeah they not going to remember it anyway now you can't do anything fun and neither can they yep was have fun cuz and everyone's going to be tired and cranky yeah can't even get

drunk watch me why it's fun being the uncle the drunk uncle Dr no responsibilities the drunkle drunkle Luke so I'm going to tell my daughter your name is drun drun we are going to have to stay at the hotel for I think 3 days okay that's scientifically determined yes I I I want they say at you need at least two days I want the three days okay so what what are the do you know what you want to experience there or you just you cuz I know you're reing spoilers is that just you're what do you mean what I just go there and I just experience it all and then I want to go on the malim Falcon and cry okay I know that's going to happen come and cry one at a time you go in and

cry oh the the crying will be happening it's just I know it yeah and so do they and I'll be taking a lot of money from me cuz I need the lightsaber I need to try all the cocktails mhm mhm I need a Droid you went to the the bar there right Dan I did stuff I did did cuz the bartend to told you is not to yeah why would you say that why would you hand someone a drink with like puffy space foam on it they you go enjoy your drink and then go oh by the way don't snort this why would you say that if you didn't want me to snort it in in a in a in a scenario like that where it's like it's like you're in the Star Wars

universe and the people are playing along yeah that that is if someone says that that means definitely snort that and I definitely did and I got a insane headache yeah cuz what is it it's um cuz it's something that they starting to play around with in cocktails it's um what's really C stuff cocaine nitrogen oh right yeah some of it's in my brain mhm don't snow that all right mate you Dr then you walk away you had not said that snorted your lightsaber sir don't snort it don't snort it here's your hot dog do I need to say

it there was an incident so I guess we should be clear that goes in your mouth can I get some salt and pepper for this you can but and I'm sorry to point it out you've got to promise me you've got to promise I think the reason why they're being overly cautious with that is I think I think there have been reports of people dying getting seriously ill from liquid nitrogen in cocktails then the best thing they can do other than not using it is to just not tell you yeah don't snort it or don't incept the idea into there a better way is you know good the best way to enjoy this drink drink it slowly or drink it fast like get give that sort of bartender positive reinforcement the best way to enjoy this

I I mean well this new story is going to be going on and on we don't have to talk about what happened anymore because I think I think everything that's come out has come out and we've discussed it and I kind of feel sorry for everyone involved one of the things that was on here that was like the charges reporter and it's just a reporter that's hounding him yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah no one will leave him alone heiring pictures of him like yeah I I like the article annoys me and cuz this is even just an ad bman thing like these types of reports they do just follow and Hound and just just going to pick up some milk yeah or this in this particular instance standing in the doorway of his house yeah saying please don't f photograph me when I'm in my

house yeah oh what are you going to do shoot me um but I love this he'd gone back to New York he was up your way Matt B's down in New York now um because he wanted to he wanted to visit and get advice from the one man that could possibly assist him in this uh Woody Allen of all [ __ ] people so he's been at Woody Allen's house he still alive Allen yeah he is yeah haven't heard much of him in a while I because he are you joking he's been cancelled and I think there's probably a huge Bigg year for him other yeah oh I I may have missed that no it's be it's one of those things

though it's like 20 years ago there was a kafuffle over the incident then nothing for 20 years and then 20 21 happened and everyone was like hey remember that guy that got away with that thing that we accused him of call him again this seems to be a trend that's sort of happening lately cuz it's all this stuff that like even you you look at um Crosby Crosby he B Crosby he said he yeah he Crosby he said he'd done stuff and agreed to like people qu back in the day and everyone was just haha and then now it's gone hold on yeah M no I mean shit's catching up with people it's good yeah just a shame in most cases it's good in Woody Allen's case we don't know because actually there was two separate criminal investigations that found him innocent

of of any crimes yeah so it's a it's a crazy person accusing him and it's hard to tell this one feels more like a Witch Hunt than um delayed justice but I mean but also just because it was it's meia Pharaoh correct that was saying that he that he did it well and and the the daughter of the time but no but child psychologists multiple at the time said she the child is regurgitating a story taught to her yes right and so it's it's and me and Farah has not been well mentally and so it's kind of like he [ __ ] knows and it's been recorded saying I'll get you somehow yes yeah yeah um one thing I did want to just bring up cuz we you know weal and and we don't exactly know what happened on the rust set because everyone's got a different story um a terrible accident

happened but that's the thing right so 30 [ __ ] years ago this exact same thing happened on the set of The Crow and everyone immediately went here's exactly what happened we put a dumy round in the gun fired it then put a blank in fired it that and that's why somebody was killed here is the name of the guy who put it in there he admits it here is the guy who fired it he admits it here is the guy who handed in the gun he admits it there was a full investigation not one single person was charged because they just ruled it as a tragic accident right with no one at thought honestly I think part of the problem is now is the internet with this yeah you see like we've been caught up watching like you see a clickbait title like when like

when we first saw the article talking about how oh he didn't pull the trigger and it was just like that was what on there and then when you actually see all in context no that wasn't what he said he was saying this he still admits he was the one holding the gun yeah he wasn't saying that the yeah that he well they make it sound like there was like a second gunman on the grassy n or something it's like there nobody saying yeah yeah yeah yeah and it's just all these articles and people and people hounding him and but that's what I mean I I think you could have gotten ahead of this by complete transparency like if if they had had a united front as like in the crow that the the crew came out and said in a way all of us are responsible because we were in overtime we were

rushed we were trying to the armor had already gone home and we grabbed the gun ourselves like we know we shouldn't have done it but obviously we didn't mean for anyone to get hurt and they did and and we're [ __ ] I think his interview was a mistake honestly cuz it's just created more of this stuff because now there's all these videos I mean we talked last week about you know the the what his version of events and now people saying oh that's not how the guns work I don't know any guns seen some convincing videos of people showing you how the Gun Works that I'm I mean yeah okay I guess the way that he's saying it happened might not be possible that's fine but the the point is there shouldn't be a bullet in there anyway yeah so it actually doesn't matter so but then

they're like oh he was lying it's like but but what why is he lying he's not lying because he purposely killed someone and he's trying to get away with it he's ly because everyone keeps saying you did and he's trying to say mate I didn't [ __ ] mean to yeah exactly you got to from what happened to him he was on set blocking a scene something terrible happened and he's not immediately going to go yeah what oh my God like what was exactly doing at the time he's going to be go oh my God that person's dead yeah and when he said I'm I'm I I didn't pull the trigger I was just pulling the hammer back I think he doesn't mean that literally what he means was in the scene I wasn't even firing the gun yeah he didn't shoot the gun the scene is just me doing cool

cowboy cockback and and during that process the gun fired by mistake and cuz people are like oh well to put the hammer back you've got to pull the trigger and that well maybe he did do it then I guess then he did guess was on the trigger should it doesn't matter it shouldn't have been a bullet on set that's the important thing and now Pit's picking up that's why I think evidently in order to safely pull the hammer back down to its original position you do have to put pressure on the trigger anyway to unlock the mechanism yeah his finger would have had to have been on the trigger but that doesn't mean he was going [ __ ] yeah exactly right that's why that's why I think the interview is a

mistake because he's probably he must mising or discredited him yeah yeah they're focusing on the fact that he he's mistaken but again it doesn't it's not important that's not the important part but now everyone's focusing on that yeah people are looking for blame and who's at fault and all this where it's it's just a terrible accident Let's help look at how we can try and stop this happening again let the police do their investigation to make sure it was just a terrible accident and it wasn't yeah yeah man imagine like I mean I don't he's not my favorite actor but I've always enjoyed his films and I I loved 30 Rock right I thought he was the best thing about 30 Rock and to think that all that might be ruined now is it's disappointing you know what I there's

something there's something sad about that if if he can't recover from this and he must wake up every morning and have that like like 1 second feeling before you remember that your life is ruined you know what I mean like and then and then every day you remember oh that's right a [ __ ] shot a woman to death and everyone in the world knows about it yeah and then I thought I've got to clear I've got to try and clear this up and then you did an interview and then everyone was like he's [ __ ] lying he murdered her it's like oh God that didn't go well he snuck a bullet into that gun and he [ __ ] yeah yeah like what are people trying to say something else I've been thinking about though slightly unrelated but not really something that you brought up a couple

of weeks ago Matt when we talked about his wife Hilaria pretending to be Spanish so weird do we know if she also pretended to be Spanish to him like when it came out that she wasn't a Spaniard did he go what or did he go no no no that was a public Persona that she put on and at home she spoke to me in a Boston accent he did do um I he I remember this from when I was looking into it he did do an interview where someone asked him about it and he and he said ah don't worry about it kind of like let's just not talk about that so I think he I think he knew but and basically just didn't want to talk about it yeah so yeah but I don't know if if when he met her she was like hello yeah I I I really want to know and

then at a certain point she was like by the way this I just I'd do this for my from inst followers yeah I just this is kind of just my my my character that I kind of put out there no idea well have you guys noticed how um Jullian Anderson now has a British accent have not notic that she doesn't have one she puts on one for the show oh you think she's an actor Luke in interviews she now just speaks with that accent yeah yeah but when she wasn't accepting an award for it recently she spoke into a normal American accent oh okay so she won an award for sex education and then everyone over in the UK was going what she's American yeah but that's because on talk shows and stuff she just puts on a British accent

now cuz it's probably just easier because people get shocked she a method actor maybe it could be that too I just remember thinking cuz I saw her interviewed and I was like [ __ ] she is she British this entire time I thought she was like American or Canadian or something and then looked it up and it's like no no no she's just starts started to she pretty much exclusively Works in Britain now cuz she did the crown and then she did that other thing um yeah right she's married to an English and she just has kind of adopted an English accent and maybe just be easy that when she's doing so those interviews it's just easy to stay with the accent than to try and flick backwards and forwards tries to buy [ __ ] potting mix and stuff that it's unless you put

on an American accident I don't know what you're talking about yeah you can always tell when I've um when something is written by me over here cuz it's got s's instead of Z's and there's Us in words where they shouldn't be used and I talk about aluminium instead of aluminum that one I'll give you it was aluminum first the the British decided to change it to aluminium so that it red with lithium and brillium and other elements so yeah and America was like [ __ ] off the rest of them America changed they color without the u and stuff that was a that was a specific decision to simplify words simplify them no we're not going to say any when the first American Dictionary was published they were like what are all these extra letters here

yeah get rid of them I got an idea we could save on printing costs do we get paid by the letter no then boys we finish it rip them out of there what Els can we get rid of um I was uh uh reading the other day the first dictionary published in Poland right and I hope this is true and I don't want to look it up in case it's not right so um apparently the uh the entry for horse right the definition of horse said everyone knows what a horse is that's amazing I so hope that I'm just going to leave that there because the world's a more magical place
