feel bad cuz like you used to wake up at like a horrible time to get up I me that's true to record but look like at 6: a.m. and I'm struggling to get up at 9:00 you're here it's fine you know no harm no foul just apologize that's all all right I'll make sure it won't happen again all right there's a good chance to yeah I wouldn't promise that Luke just know that if if if it gets to you know 20 minutes late we'll just start without you just know that and don't be upset if it happens I just have to set a reminder on my C for some reason I completely forgot yeah yeah I I should have actually thought today was a work day I got which is really bad cuz I didn't wake up for work either someone at work today was like have a good weekend after a meeting

and I was like what oh it's it's Friday all right I didn't I completely forgot quite a nice surprise what were you playing last night Luke I've been playing not I've been playing Mars Horizon Mars Horizon is is that is that an offshoot of forer horizon but you're on Mars no no it's a it's a game where you sort of pick you're playing at one of the space agencies and you're in a race to get to Mars for a split second did you think he was going to say space Asians I actually did yeah yeah me too did but the problem is with this game is it's very easy for just know that just one more turn sure just I I'll just wait until I do this I'll just wait till I do this cuz not an action based game yeah MH and I lost a lot of time to it yeah far too much time is it good or are you

just achievement hunting um I was enjoying it but it does get a bit sey after about 8 hours okay well i' find that yeah I was going to say I'd probably find that with way more games than you anyway yeah not just games man yeah sure Ed want to thanks for tuning back in this year a couple people did uh did write in to say oh thank God you're back uh we did think that you maybe had you know broken up as friends or something so that has not happened yeah and if we do you'll be the first to hear about it and that'll be one of the most interesting podcast episodes that's right yeah it'll just be me and Luke here going Matt is a [ __ ] and then Jen no just each of our statements into like one episode like three separate

statements right and this is why their [ __ ] and not me yeah these are the reasons that they've pissed me off you be the judge listeners I hope it never comes to that but if it does let's let the listeners be judged we should do it yeah I can't imagine that happening this point it would have happened a long time ago as we discussed the worst the worst ever was maybe it did maybe that's why there's only three of us now the worst ever was over that Batman movie which is ridiculous start honestly being a listed to that it felt like it was going to be over I I remember that well except I cannot remember what we were actually arguing about or The Stance either of us were taking on it it was something stupid oh absolutely

something nonb for some reason we just push the wrong buttons and and it'll be something stupid did you listen to uh to the new the latest Always Sunny podcast where Rob's talking about how he almost got in a fight oh it's just very funny cuz he he almost got into like a punch-up outside a burger place and he said you thinking about it later it was just like it almost got into a physical altercation over who gets to eat the hamburgers first because it was to Ling up at a burger place it's very funny it's a good episode they don't talk about an episode of the show at all their podcast has just become this podcast talking they just they're just talking now that's great so thanks for stealing our ideas come on the show open invitation AB the longest running

podcast with no listeners that should be our tag light I can make that happen we've got to be setting some records you make some listeners happen Matt we've got listeners I know cuz they write to us we don't do this for where are you no we don't do this for the listeners no we do this to keep in touch with each other the listeners are like the icing on the cake yes I've played a couple of games this week that are worth mentioning um the first one that I played the most of this week is a plague tale innocence which was very good God that is such a good game it gets weird though it it it does get very weird um is it the one with the rats where there's like a one yeah I've seen videos of that creepy you you play as a little girl holding the hand of an even little boy

and basically are just creeping around trying not to get seen by rats or human beings cuz they will all just murder you right um set in like 14th century France okay the part that I keep saying gets weird which is a little bit of a spoiler but the game's been out for a while is towards the end of the game you find out the boy can control the rats oh yeah and then there are black rats and white rats and he can control the black rats but the white rats are controlled by the bad people and they fight mhm that's where it gets I mean Luke's making this sound awful but but that is exactly what happens I mean that does sound like somebody should have gone should we maybe not make them black or and white can distinguish them uh Matt it's okay the the black ones are the good

guys oh all right ultimately oh I see so it's kind of like not for not for seven eight sub expectations like Ryan Johnson oh God but it's such a great game cuz it's all about you got to worry about like uh you can't go into the dark because that's when you'll get attacked so you got to make sure that there's lights everywhere you can fight but you not really still fully I was going to say you're a child from what you've said yeah and but Luke's right the rats are in the dark so imagine a stealth game where you're actually trying to creep around in the candle light yeah right it's very interesting it's very unique unque take on a regular it is on Game Pass yeah I think I might actually have it installed I've just not played it so I should check it out definitely it's

not a super long game no it's not I basically played an hour a day for a week super long time play the sequel comes out this year yeah yeah it's actually this year it comes out I was having a look into it so oh we'll see if they've announced it it'll be this year a whole year for it to be this year so yes well I mean even things that we were expecting very soon like stalker 2 pushed back to the very end of this year yeah December still this year though so cheeky when did they announce that was moving a couple of days the other day I think yeah yeah they said well and and to be fair they said they want to make sure it meets expectations which yeah that'd be good yeah i' like that too people H they got to learn from their peers that's the problem trust me it's not going to meet

expectations you think they shouldn't have done this now they've raised the Expectations by saying that they're going to meet the expectations yeah or they should have said he's like look it's not ready yet we need to just work on it a little bit more but it's one this is one of those games that no matter what they do people are going to be upset sure they should just said it's still a bit [ __ ] well uh Rockstar have been sort of good like Red Dead was still a great game but there's still a lot of games that have that thing where people are super excited for it they wait for it and then it gets there and people go no this is what we isn't what we wanted I wonder how many people who are hyped for stalker 2 actually played stalker the

original I'll admit I haven't I've played it but I didn't finish because it I didn't finish it yeah so if if if it was prettier I'd probably play it again I have it on Gog yeah yeah I think I've got it on on Steam I think and I think there is actually a a a mod to make it look nice well that's a shame it's delayed I'm excited but I played something else this week uh that I'm sure every listener has already played millions of hours of I hadn't played any of at all but I decided to give Halo a go that's a good game wait the first Halo no not the first Halo but I didn't play the first or second or third or any of the others so Halo infinite is that the new one Halo inite yeah um it's pretty good so comat infinite quite

satisfying the infinite it's this forever now yeah yeah oh yeah okay so it's good I played the multiplayer a little bit just a couple yeah well I figured if I was going to play any the multiplayer with you guys at some stage I should probably learn how to play the game not much of a game I will say this as Matt knows that when you play it and you don't know how to play it people fun of you oh yeah like especially yeah I know what he's talking about yeah we played you were those guys making fun of people we were at uh Manar in Brisbane when uh Supernova was on I think and there was it was like a a a ranked Halo team right they were like a you know some sports team or something there what they were doing they were just kicking everyone's ass and Luke and

I were like ah yeah we'll [ __ ] take you on and and then uh like I don't know how to play Halo so I got in one of the what it the Banshee is that what thing called yeah and I was just stuck flying it into a building and this guy goes the guy one of the guys in the team goes what are you doing I was like I don't know man I don't know how to fly this thing and he goes well then why'd you get in it yeah I guess that's a fair question yeah yeah yeah so did you like Halo I didn't dislike it but I don't know if I'd go as far as saying I liked it but I I imagine it would be fun if you were playing with people you knew yeah that's been my experience I'm not I'm not going to just

continue playing this campaign though I found Halo campaigns are fun in Co-op I've that's my experience yep because you can get on a cruise around together and have some fun I be happy to play with anyone in the multiplayer I've actually already finished the um battle pass what's that mean um so you know when you're playing the matches had there like little missions for you to do yeah I there's all sorts of stuff that I was like that's incomprehensible to me I'm just going to shoot people now so each time that you complete one of those things you get experience which lets you level up your battle pass there's 100 levels in the ble pass that you unlock armor and things I wonder why I could change my appearance that's cuz

I'm [ __ ] right that's the answer cuz I'm not very good you don't actually even have to be very good you just have to play a lot awful than you have to play a lot it does have one thing that I don't that I don't like that some games do and I hate which is that you don't collect weapons you pick a weapon up and drop the weapon you're holding and [ __ ] hate it's ecially do that and then suddenly realize oh wait this is not the gun I like that I thought I was holding this whole [ __ ] time and then you got to remember where was it I [ __ ] hit X when I walked over something and now I'm carrying something different instead of the thing I liked I think you can have two guns is that right usually in Halo yeah two guns yeah you can but it's one

of the first first actually have that yeah you you accidentally or like uh in uh in Borderlands sometimes if you hold the button down too long it'll pick up a new gun and drop the one you're carrying and yeah because your inventory is full so one you've got throw the one you I why does it throw the one you're holding that's nonsensical that's definitely if there's one I definitely don't want to drop it's the one I've equipped music the one you just thrw off a [Laughter] cliff a border is bad for that because M there aren't many guns you want to use but you pick every one of them up just in case yeah yeah I can sell them to Marcus yeah see I prefer that than just pick one up put one down I actually I

I've been interested in having a look at Borderlands but I'm not going to pay for it if it ever comes on Game Pass I'll give it another go well we've been playing Tiny Tina that's I put that in the spreadsheet here Jenner and I played through the uh the Tiny Tina Assault on Dragon Keep cuz they released it as a standalone game for I think it's like five bucks on the uh on the store and we never played that expansion uh so we just we just played through that and that was a lot of fun enjoy which a good thing cuz it was a great DLC at the time but the problem with it is if that was all you wanted to play you had to go through and actually play Borderlands 2 quite a lot because you had to get to like level 30 before you could even start it yeah this one I

guess they just uh scaled everything down you can you just start at level one and play through that instead it's good and they also make you when you level up you level up two levels at a time and oh I didn't even notice that is that true yep all right that thought he was excellent is two levels at a time or you got two unlock points at a time it was something to make it speed you know what that is true you do get two points yeah that was a good game I had fun yeah I can't wait for the new one that come out yeah exactly uh that's why we want I think that's in April yeah it's not too far away so hoping to see that un canel that hoping to see that at PA East which is happening this year oo uh oh 25th of March 25th of March Tiny Tina what's it called it's tiny

wonderlands there you go I think they had to put wonderlands just so they don't get copyright infringement from Australia's Wonderland I missed that place I think about that a lot if time travel is invented I'm going back to the mid90s and I'm going to spend a day at Wonderland see I wish cuz when it closed down before I was at that stage where I was just going there by myself a lot I think if it had been if I had been a bit older yeah before it closed I think I would have enjoyed it more cuz going with your family it was it was a you might go like once a year at least with my family MH but then you get to that stage where you used to see like groups of friends going and I never really got to experience that I did that once only but yeah I know what you mean you could

also get a season pass right where you could go if I'd love to cuz also if you go with your family I don't know about your family my family would never want to pay anything that cost extra money once you were in there it was basically you want to let it eat there you want to let do anything you pay to get in play any of the game yeah you pay to get in and then you go on anything that's included and anything that costs extra you weren't allowed to do I'd love to go as as as a man who owns his own money and just be like to Disney now and he just buys everything yeah exactly and get the old timey photograph done you know just like all of the silly things I've got a photo my mom sent me a bunch of like actual physical photos which thank God didn't get lost on the

way over but one of them is it's a photo of I don't know how old I am very young uh but in the Tasmanian Devil with my dad it's just a photo of I guess before the ride starts sat in oh that's a great photo yeah have you purchased a scanner yet uh I do have a scanner yes yeah okay good yeah you got one of those photo scanners that you just sort of feed it in and it does it for you no it's just attached to my looking to it they are very cheap yeah right okay and if you do have that like pile of photos you can just buy your in and you just you feed it in it'll scan it and just okay that's a file put the side and feeding and yeah make life a lot easy instead of scanners are hard to use sometimes well not hard but yeah last time I SC a bunch of photos I just put

like six of them on there and then now I just have like it's a JPEG with like six photos and I was like cut them up into separate photos at some point and I've never have they're just in my mean you're not scanning them so you could look at them you're scanning them for posterity yeah just so that you know they're not gone so that you have them yeah yeah yeah this is a a cheap one oh um where do I post it Po in the still even though we've been using Discord for many many years we're still learning it yeah I don't know how to use it oh there we go oh it wants to send me a notification I'll allow it it's asking for permission to send you an alert General there we go oh I can't buy this it's in on kogan but I I point taking

but no yeah just oh kogan I went I went to kogan recently um cuz I bought a new monitor I bought an ultra wide Monitor and I was going to get it from kogan for a certain I had it in my car and then I found it much cheaper somewhere else Office Works and uh so I got from there instead and brought you by office works that's right um kogan are like like like an an ex who desperately wants you back like they just Spam me with emails I've I've unsubscribed every email I get and so I just get them from slightly different email hey it's me like it's it's infuriating for listeners who don't know kogan is like in Australia you can get I

they call it gry Market stuff which is like I mean there's my experience with kogan is you can buy the phones that were meant for like Singapore or you know the Southeast Asian countri so you get where I purchase a lot of my phones from and they're cheaper for I don't know why because I guess they have less like taxes or whatever than Australia I I'm not actually sure why but you can usually get a phone cheaper if it's meant for another country the the only thing that happens is you get it and it will have a different plug oh yeah they will actually but kogan will actually throw in the adapter for you right I've bought a couple phones from them over the years yeah wasn't doing much good now now I just buy directly from Google yeah yeah but yeah that that was just

showing you the type of scanner I was talking about that wasn't a buy this wad no no no that's good I appreciate the uh the hookup and I will check on uh Amazon and the like it even you can even do negatives oo oh like an unscanned photos you mean yes just destroy them no just ruins them speaking of things that have been ruined oh no you go mant oh I just i' I've been playing Metroid dread on the switch I know you guys uh Dan I don't think you have a switch I don't have you have one in the house oh there's one in my house yeah yeah yeah I have access to it sure Luke refuses to play his because he won't get achievements on it so I don't know why he bought it I have I

have been no I I've played a couple of games and I go to play it every now and again I play Minecraft on it every now and again oh yeah okay cuz Metroid wish I was still into Minecraft fantastic Metroid Dre if you like super metroid it's basically the same thing I might have talked about this game before but I'm nearly at the end but I'm now going around and collecting all of the uh Collectibles because it tells you the percentage in each each Zone that you've got uh but I won't be getting any achievements for it so Luke is probably now like wondering why the [ __ ] I bother and it's just cuz we play games for different reasons I guess I no no I I know but I'm just um you love this this much that your be you making sure to dedicate the time to go through and

Super Super Metroid is one of my favorite games of all time and it's basically an updated like super metroid game I mean obviously the map's completely different everything but it's just the same kind of game it's it's really good cuz I know there are games that you like that you sort of just that you can't sort of give the time that you'd like to but for this to go through and just be collecting the Collectibles the good thing about this is right and I've the and the switch in general is that that I can play the switch anywhere meaning that if my daughter is crawling around in on the floor in a room I've got to keep an eye on her so I can't just be in the Liv room you know playing the Xbox or in here playing the Xbox but I can have to switch with me and yeah you can ignore

her anywhere now exactly yeah yeah she can get into all sorts of hij Jinks when I'm not looking so the switch has been uh useful in that regard anyway love it check it out listeners if you're into uh Metroid and or the switch oh in another game I've played a little bit and I think everybody seemingly has been playing on the Internet is Wordle and I don't have a whole lot to say about I've been hearing about this Wordle everywhere what the hell is it it's so you have to be careful with Wordle because some people are taking advantage of this some guy made it's just a website and it's I don't I can't even say what the website is because I don't know it's just his name. co.uk I mean you you'll find it if you Google it but

it's called Wordle it's there'll be a felet word and it's kind of like you remember the the hacking in Fallout 4 where you have to choose the word and it would tell you oh these letters are in it these letters are in it but they're in the wrong spot and all that kind of stuff you basically just have to guess the word okay that's the gist of it uh but it's it's just caught on like wildfire and people are taking advantage of that because it's not on the App Store it's not an app it's just a website right and it works on mobile it works everywhere and it's free but if you go on people don't know that so now there was this whole thing where people Jimmy Fallon was talking about it the New York Times had an article on it and people not knowing how about this stuff

non-technical people would go to the App Store and type Wordle to look for it and all it's on there is a bunch of scammy [ __ ] apps and it's and then so there was all this kafuffle this week about like Apple and Google why aren you doing something about this like it's just these scam artists like the game's free so anyway it's fun little game I know I know some listeners are already playing it because we've discussed it and uh and I recommend you check it out I mean I'll admit it doesn't sound all that fun and it certainly doesn't sound like something I'd play more than once one word day what am I missing every day you go and there's a new word and it and it's it's it's just a little puzzle game you can only play it once a day yeah the word changes every day oh wow and it's

the same word for everybody hm every day there's a new word and you have to figure out what it is so you like for example the other day the word was Abby a b b e y my first guess was table which was a good guess because then it told me there's an A and an e but you've got them in the wrong spot but there's a b and you've got it in the correct spot so that was lucky and then you could from there good game and you only get five guesses interesting Luke's playing it right now I can tell by his face no achievements lukee there's no achievements got one letter right what's the URL Luke if you're looking at it I'm on power language. co.uk yeah that's what I mean it's like

a weird thing I don't think this guy obviously didn't expect it to take off just his own website Well's on this page I hope he's getting something out of this yeah cuz that's what I about to say like there's not an ad there is nothing he's making nothing from this game so I mean unless he's just collecting all the data and selling that maybe kudos to him cuz a bunch of other [ __ ] are making millions of dollars off his hard work on the App Store I give up I'm not good with words well I mean you can't it's not for me exactly and reading is probably game actually I don't like writing [Music] either now Dan you you mentioned something's been ruined for you what

were you oh it's not ruined for me mate it's ruined for everyone it's ruined for you too L all yeah um Galactic star Cruiser right sold out as we disc you know why can't I talk as we discuss on this podcast sold out for yonks um but thanks to that awful promo a lot of people have canceled their bookings so now there's actually a lot of tickets available now that everyone knows how [ __ ] it is I think it was just a poor attempt at advertising yeah I think you're probably right yeah that video was not great let's be honest so is the price reduced now that nobody wants to go ,000 no I think that's the reason I think people saw that promo went I'm not paying thousands of dollars for this actually I don't even think

it's the promo I honestly think that the people who were prepared to pay anything were the ones that ran out brought tickets right away and then cuz remember they only talked about the first 3 months being completely sold out right that probably still remain the same and then other people aren't as quick to go and spend that money and also you probably got a lot of people who aren't prepared to travel still yeah like me I'm I'm not leaving my house let alone 800 to $6,000 plus for two nights and I we are doing it and that's US dollar is it Mt yeah we are doing it I need to do this that plus is like disturbing cuz there will be a plus well

did you hear that in Euro Disney or Disneyland Paris as it's now called the terrible Disney the bad one definitely the worst for sure um but still fun but the the make your own lightsaber is now pay stand and watch a Disney staff member make the lightsaber at your behest oh you don't actually get to touch the pieces now but it's only in the Paris Disneyland apparently the rest of them that have that function sort of I'm actually with everything that's going on in the world at the moment I don't think that's a crazy thing maybe they just don't trust French people to wash their hands I mean it's it's still made to your specs the guys doesn't go like you don't want

go and cry on the Falcon for this guy I sort of you that used to watch me in the distance as a child yeah who we learned has had actually Many Adventures and wasn't just hanging out looking at him we're going to find out and this look we I haven't really spoken about much about the Obi onean TV show that's coming out but I think this is sort of going to be a bit like the Boba Fett one I hope I hope it's nothing like the Boba Fett word they're taking a character that you know and then trying to go oh he also did all this and this is what he's actually like concerned based on what I've seen that's fine because Obi-Wan is a good guy so they're allowed to paint him as a hero Boba Fett is not and the fact that they're now making him all this kind of noble character is like

No you're ruining it that's not why we like him no no I I think the reason why might struggle a bit is in our in our minds we know what happened to Obi-Wan he did all of this stuff and then twins got separated and then Luke went to Tatooine with his family which is a super place to put him if you're trying to keep him away from Skywalker I want to see that scene where they say to Obi-Wan Kenobi like you've got to hide baby Luke Skywalker he's like sure I'm going to hide him with his family and they're like oh okay that seems risky but I can make sure they change their names no no no we'll call them the same name like okay well then make sure you change your name like I'll change my first name but I'm not going to change my last name that's going to be

confusing well according to will my go according to the Han Solo movie last names don't really mean anything people's first names yeah that is true in our heads what do a obiwan Obi-Wan went to the tne and then that was it and then he waited there till Luke grew up but no now he went on all these and he still fighting Darth vad even Luke knows about him enough to be like I wonder if they mean old Ben Kenobi like he knows him fight by first name like if there was an old man who lived like like a dune away from me like like they've obviously hung out he's done a [ __ ] job is what I'm saying have you seen one thing that sort of come out of the Boba Fett uh show hold on and come to think of it the first thing he does when they actually meet the one job he has is keep

this boy away from Darth Vader he's like you want to come with me to the Death [Laughter] Star uh the one thing that did sort of com out B Fett is um they made some of the old original characters Canon again like Camy which was Camy they did but they didn't say who they were I only knew that and not even original characters who were removed from the original back in which is interesting I still remember I still remember Luke Skywalker's nickname wormy yeah cuz he couldn't get it up well there's only one girl all of his friends and and she always doing the worm pretty sure that's right so I've not watched episode three of Boba Fett

yet but well I haven't watched the whole episode because I turned it off again from chase scene it doesn't seem good what's that there's this chase scene in it right which is just apping Bob Fett's now recruited a gang of you that ride around on colorful scooters color coordinated scooters like like mods Matt they're mods okay it's and they're like slick talking like Cockney udes it's awful I mean might watch I don't know I don't know why they did it like this keep going for now I i' I turned it off I went to heavy spoilers on YouTube uh but there's nothing to spoil there's nothing happen

I last last episode last week when we talked I hadn't seen episode two yet I since have and I know that I've already bombarded you guys with complaints about no please I want to hear it all again because I hate this show and I'm happy that other people hate it too because there the worst thing for me is when I hate something and everyone else loves it because then I just feel like I'm missing out I was just I was very confused by plot of the last one the thing with the train I was like why do they even care about the train is this the first time is because they lifted that entire scene from Lawrence of Arabia and there was a train in that so there has to be a train in this I mean the S people in nomadic like so if the train goes through there that's fine

they're not going to be there tomorrow they'll have moved on so who gives a [ __ ] about this train I did also seem a bit weird that like the train just flies through and then it just starts randomly firing at these people in why keep going the thing that evidently I think they Sho at the BS I think they were hunting BS I think it was supposed to be more like how how like [ __ ] [ __ ] on trains in the old west were just shoot at Buffalo out the window and the and the PLS Indians would be like [ __ ] you but then also why is there a train anyway but also there was no track was there wasn't it just a hover train like it was a hover train go wherever the [ __ ] it wants I would let stuff like this slide except I guess cuz I didn't enjoy it that much I I'm I'm being

nitpick it should have been so interesting we can't nitpick this train right it's flying through the desert they get five speeder bikes right they catch up to it they're at high speed there's a big chase they jump onto the train very exciting the train speeds up even further because it gets those big booster things on to try and shoot them off the top right so they're tearing through the desert they're on the other side of the planet by now they finally stopped the train and all the rest of the sand people walk up the [ __ ] did they get there yeah yeah yeah but I I'll will say the the scene where Boba Fett was trying to teach them how to ride a bike and what a bike is was embarrassing to watch I was uncom walks

mean Al faab I like yeah like in 1989 Batman the movie was called Batman the movie it wasn't called Batman the book right and you could argue that you didn't need to call it the movie except there'd been a series of it so they called it Batman colon the movie so that you have the book of Batman the movie he probably behind me Batman the book I think that might have been called The Book of Batman the movie are we going to get to the final episode and it's just going to be Boba Fett sitting at the Desh just finishing offing off his Memoir if that happens fine and I'll take this all back but if that doesn't happen why is this called [ __ ] book of Boba Fett and then she's that the girl's going to go what's what's the book called It's called The

character and I disagree with that I think he's fine and I actually think it's interesting to watch him turn his back on everything and and have to be re inspired again I find that interesting and any I mean if he stopped milking cows I'd be 100% on board every scene he in that whole plotline would have been perfect if at the end he was sort of leading towards there is no Jedi and Sith it's just yeah which is Middle Ground like we need to stop going definite good and definite evil that would have been a great story arc for him to get to that point instead of nope I'm Jedi again also whole point is Right Luke was Luke turned his back on everything right and was they they kind of establish he's sort of responsible for creating kylo renan away right

because he he didn't trust him and he he you know went to kill him and tried to murder him he had a bad dream and then the lesson he learns at the end of it is to just dunk on him again and then die yeah like at the end he's like [ __ ] you I'm dead and it's like wait sorry what like I've made him a bit more Angry um I hope that's okay anyway I'm out of here yeah I live in the force now yeah but honestly any scene kylo Ren was in was magnificent like d he [ __ ] carries that movie but I still like like Luke that's good in Darth Vader still Darth Vader has murdered Millions upon millions of people responsible for millions they

still got him I can bring him back he has a bad dream about his own nephew who is no s if he was born got to kill him still a kid at this point yeah it was a dream but it's best to be sure yeah just in case killing younglings is kind of a thing we do in my family yeah I mean I killed sand people kids I I killed [ __ ] padawans I I might as well kill my nephew as well I mean not he did you know what you know what I'm saying you know what I'm saying yeah another movie that people are disappointed with that um hasn't even come out yet is the Batman because it's um it's it's rated came out this week and it's not rated R and people were like I wanted to be rated R I wanted Batman to [ __ ] murder and [ __ ] people

now it's for kids well they were mad that he murdered people in uh in uh Batman vers Superman now they're not mad that he people were mad but I think people mad for a lot of reasons about that movie yeah so what is this movie rated the Batman it's not PG oh it's I think it's PG-13 which is something different there than it is here so kids can watch it garbage yeah I I only want to watch Batman do things that kids could not possibly witness I think what did this one I think people might have been mad because I were thinking this was going to be more in the same tones as Joker yeah and then I thought they thought it was going to be that comic that came out where he goes down on Catwoman they were like [ __ ]

yeah Heroes don't do that um but the second trailer that came out and I mentioned this last week or the week before the second trailer kind of revealed that it was more of just you kind of classic Batman adventure and less of a yeah less of a joker esque you know character study about a psychopath which is a little bit disappointing I suppose which also makes it very confusing as to what they're doing then if it's just another normal Batman movie It looks interesting in the it I compared to the Christopher Nolan ones it seems like the the villain is more comic Booky like the Riddler is more cartoonish in a way which could be cool oh they all are like actually penguin to me from what I've seen it

still feels like it's the same tone as the Nolan Trilogy though yeah it looks like it looks like kind of in between the Nolan ones and the Tim Burton ones to be honest like cuz the Burton ones I mean I'm okay with that in that I like both of those yeah yeah but that doesn't mean this is going to be good I guess we won't know no we get to find out I think it's what March is it well we'll see I read a interview with third of March Michael Keaton this week that was talking about why he didn't do Batman 3 Batman Forever seen that it was talking to sh about it right yeah because I'd always thought it was because Burton didn't do it he didn't do it he was like no I'll only do it if Burton returns that's not the case he was like yeah great okay new director no problem but

then when schoe marker came in and was like oh I don't understand why this has to be so serious why is Batman always serious yeah and then Michael Keen was like I will not make a movie with you yeah cuz I mean he saw he he said that the he didn't feel like he got that it was not Batman it was Bruce Wayne that was it was about like he kind of missed the core of the story in that sense I was like oh that's interesting Michael K sounds like a smart guy yeah this should let him direct it I can't wait to see him in that costume again I just I cannot wait I might cry in the position when I look at that you've also got to watch what's happening around that part of the movie though Bruce Wayne why are you dressed as Batman [ __ ]

love he is Batman you idiot a great movie what a weird movie such a weird movie I think I saw it at exactly the right time where the weirdness was just like cool with me and then now it's I don't you know what I like yeah it it's it's cemented in there is great you can't change it and that's that's exactly yeah I watch it and I P with rockets on their backs yeah it's [ __ ] stupid I love it I can't help it like when I was a kid I just thought it was great I want to watch it again now because I think I have a new appreciation for Denny DeVito that I never used to have cuz I I thought he was the most disgusting thing in the world and I I still think that but now I

like it so I confused where you going there I was like always study Chang no but now I know it's a it's a it's a craft and he is one of the best people in the world at at doing disgusting episode the other day we we I've been told you we do that always sunny roulette where I just put a random Sunny episode on you know if we've got half an hour please tell me it's Frank naked coming out of the couch it wasn't that one it was the one where they want to have the intervention and he's like cuz he he goes to his his who someone's funeral anyway and he's like so drunk and as a bit where he's talking a Mac and he's like just chugging beers he's burping and like vomiting up beer and stuff like that and then there's

actually a clip of bloopers from that where like Rob mckany can't do the scene because Danny veto is just being so disgusting that he's just like oh Jesus Christ you know what I was thinking about the other day was that [ __ ] season when when um Dennis was in therapy and um basically where he's basically added as being a sociopath and there's that bit where he goes he's like I'm never going to do anything right to hurt anyone but it's it's just nice to know that I can and that I could and that I might and that I probably will we the other one we watched was on that note was the you know the one where you know they have their board game that they play I forget what it's called yeah

oh the one that's just a combination of all their names yeah exactly and then they have to they have to constru uh they have to do art at one bit and you have to make love and Mac does like a dick and then Charlie's like what is that and he's like Cupid's arrow and then it cuts to Dennis and then they're like why have you made a woman's head in a box he like it's not a woman's head in a box it's a woman's head in a freezer and it's symbolized eternal love Frozen in Time the [ __ ] is wrong with you people so good so good so good you know what I started watching this week and I can't even remember why I started watching the first episode but now I've watched most of the first series I started watching cheers okay okay the sitcom from the 80s

now I don't like sitcoms I especially don't like 8s sitcoms cheers is quite good all right it's nice and I often get accused of not liking anything that's nice it's nice oh I see that's true I'm I'm normally the one accusing you of that yeah correct cheers do you know the story line cuz I didn't even know there was a story line um it basically a guy owns a bar and hij jinkx happen so he's an alcoholic is the thing right so it's about oh I didn't know in recover though yeah so the whole thing is he was he was a pro baseball player major league baseball player that got kicked out of the league because of his alcoholism right so he he went sober he's no he had bought the bar when he was still a drunk but that was now his only source of income now that he can't

play professional sports so now it's this ex ball player alcoholic who owns a bar and has to deal with these kind of bar flies every day um and there's this subtext of class difference as well because the the kind of second main character is this waitress who is this like college educated um uh what would you call her she's like an intelligencia right who comes into the bar in the First episodes ends up getting a job so this is kind of discrepancy between like her and this kind of every man characters that are in the bar every day it's quite interesting I mean a lot of it's just lame uh sitcom humor but for some reason I just really like it I want to become a Bly yeah yeah it does make that look pretty good maybe wait for the pandemic to end before you

do that now's not the time yeah but I I don't I think it's hard to find a like a a bar like that now well in Australia at least you don't have bars like that definitely in America I think more often because like um maybe not some of the Cities but in New York bars are often very small and there often is just the bar to sit at so I can't stand that where you have to [ __ ] lean over everybody to order a drink like what that yeah well I also noticed like in England as well there over in Europe like there were a lot of bars but in Australia there's you get clubs they're all turned into clubs and Poké machines out it's not just a place where you can just go in sit at the bar and drink yeah yeah that's the dream you can't take your Xbox or maybe

they'll let you maybe they'll let you hook your Xbox up the TV I'm sure there's an Xbox bar from there enough is that isn't that is that in the theme song place where everybody knows your name and you can hook your hook up the TV and get achievements I think it is they would have set a 2600 at the time though you know you got one of those too Luke haven't you right there classic okay what was that game where you got to swing on ropes over alligators Pitfall Pitfall I have that game it is the best atar game there is yeah it was very fun and that's not that's not just NeverEnding thing but uh that's right oh yeah both of those games were terrible at the time mind-blowing now yeah it's like this is Frogger but side to side

instead of up and down the new Atari the Atari VCS it's in the living room if you how how is that that was the the drunk gift you brought yourself y that's that's right I got an email saying sorry for the delay in shipping and I was like shipping what oh I guess I bought that at some point yeah it's uh I mean it's fine I'm probably going to just put Windows on it or something and use it as a gaming PC cuz it just has Atari games on it and I can play those on anything so I mean sorry they're making new games for it but they're not games that I care about and they're on other you want to play yeah I mean they're going to be on the Xbox and that anyway I don't think they've got any exclusive that I care about so I might just repurpose it as a

gaming PC I like the controller though it's got the old style controllers the joystick with the just the you know the button on the the button I play them like this I miss I miss the joystick I used to have from my Omega 500 uh you could get so good at games on a joystick yeah you know yeah you have the ones where it was just the Basse and the button was on the top those on correct yeah yeah yeah big chunky base you could just hold or it could go on the table y just that top button I often look on eBay or Facebook Marketplace for um commodor 64s and I'm tempted by them and then I go [ __ ] am I going to do with that yeah I could just load up an emulator on any one of these infinitely

more powerful devices that I have and you remember how slowly things would load on the c64 oh my cassette my cassette player yeah when you had to rewind it after you played the game you had to rewind it now our younger listeners might think we're making that up but that is a thing the games were on cassette tape and you could copy games by if you had one of those recorders that had two two two slots you could put your tape the the game in one side and play put a blank tape in the other side hit record and you could copy the game and that's seriously how easy it was y ridiculous wow those were the days what a time did take a long time I used to play Batman the movie The

Game the book Batman the movie the game was a great game yes and in fact Batman Returns the game slightly later on for the PC was excellent point and click adventure game oh you should play it even now yeah excellent excellent Point click adventure with a bit of action as well like a bit of combat huh oh my God all right well worth your time I'm going to look into this but when you say Batman the movie the game you mean the platformer right yes and then every couple of levels you're in the Batmobile yeah yeah that's right great and a level where you're in the Batwing and you have to cut the balloons yes and then the last good

never completed that game but once only cuz this is one of those games where you had to play from the start every time you put it on and you basically just had to play it enough that you just memorized where enemies were at all times so that you could get through level after level after level yeah and finally you get to the last level which is the church and it's the same as every other level just [ __ ] layers and layers of leveling and then as I got to the very top I saw the Joker yeah and then was killed by something else and I never got back up to there again oh it you just get up there and punch him and he falls off and it's like fine I would have been absolutely fine with that yeah just like he does in the movie Just punches him off the does he

pop on the glasses first and say you wouldn't hit a man with glasses no The Joker Goes you missed bman goes bull crap bull crap see that's the thing that's my favorite part of Batman Returns and it never actually happened doesn't happen I love story so funny maybe that's why I hate this movie is cuz you don't remember it all the bits I do remember are not in the movie yeah you missed bull [Laughter] crap Batman's just this crash dude from the western suburbs but also he doesn't even say [ __ ] you know cuz he was 11 they he like toned it down a little bit

Yeah bull crap bull crap [ __ ] wish he said that I wish he said that yeah well it's like that one guy that really thought we had gotten ourselves Parts in um Dark Knight risers yes cuz we and it was like into the trailer even if that had been the case why would they have allowed Matt standing next to Christian Bale in another Batman suit yelling punch me in the dick and then where Joseph Gordon lit's paring through the doors and Dave's jerking off goes don't come in why would that be in the [Laughter] movie yeah they've given us parts and they've actually said if we want we're allowed to ruin the movie in any way we

can yeah when that little boy singing the National Anthem Dave [ __ ] singing next to him off key mind you that scene where Luke you when he goes I SW I protect you and I haven't and then Luke goes it's true he hasn't that's not in the movie that actual line with that delivery at all Michael Kane saying that line is not even in the movie he says something similar but it's not the same it was a it was a contract ended up being a contract dispute that I had with them they they saw our Trail they like we don't want people to think these fuckits are in the movie we got to all of these scenes people already writing letters in going [ __ ] why is there a guy jerking

off why does Batman you'll punch me in the dick dick which one's the real Batman is that guy with a beard you like punch me in the dick or is it Christian Bale I just there's no way to tell I'm going have to go watch that again yeah speaking of uh speaking of Batman Ben affx come out this week and reflected on his awful experience working on the Justice League and how basically um Matt Dam he regrets every moment of it yeah and Matt Damon was like [ __ ] what are you doing mate just quit and he was like yeah I probably will and oh is he still technically part of it I thought he was out no so apparently the flash he's in the Flash and he and he says actually he had a nice time working on the flash which

kind of made it even worse because he he [ __ ] hated it and he quit and everything and then he was like well actually I had a bit of fun this time but it may it was only Jos Weeden who ruined it basically yeah yeah who I I it blows my mind that Jos weden is such a [ __ ] because I grew up yeah I know thinking he was just the most amazing writer and director and like not watching Buffy but like everything else that he did Firefly dollhouse right up until Avengers which is still I think one of the best Marvel movies then he makes a couple of really [ __ ] movies and everyone goes oh also he's a [ __ ] [ __ ] yeah if he's not trying to f he's yelling at you and it sucks watching cuz like we rewatching Buffy and Angel and watching it knowing you

know Cordelia in particular that chrisma Carpenter had such an awful time is a little I know just kind of sucks I mean I yeah I still enjoy the show obviously and Dawn as well like thinking allow to be in the same room yeah that's weird yeah they never elaborated on why but that's that's not good I don't think they needed to I think when a little girl goes I told my mom and then she told the [ __ ] producer and then I wasn't allowed in the same room as him it's like okay it tells me everything I need to know but I do like how that they sort of the actors to come out like don't hate on The Buffy don't boy like that's still something we are proud of and there were 100 people on set every day not just J Weeden they suffered through all that you might as well enjoy

the fruits of it you know like yeah and this goes back to the argument we always have about like separating the artist from the artwork yeah can you watch The Ninth Gate and enjoy it but also it's not it's not to give them a pass and then that they no let them keep creating stuff and you're allowed to no but if you know about it you shut that [ __ ] down I I don't know what's heing how far does that extend if you were in the Lasco caves in France looking at all those the ancient cave art and somebody was like the guy who painted this was a real [ __ ] be like oh well it's ruined now can't look at this bison yeah yeah you got to look at the subtext of the Bison yeah about the subtext he touched a lot of kids a lot of kids in
