we're back [ __ ] welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerd and we did the most multiable nasm thing um we forgot to tell you that we were not going to record for a few weeks yeah we didn't mention that and we just went away yes they probably assumed I think I'm I'm hoping that they knew right cuz they knew I was going to be in Australia I'm hoping they knew that that they figured it out you know we hadn't just all been killed also um after all the bitching about how difficult it is to do this podcast remotely we were finally all in the same place for 3

weeks and didn't record a podcast that's true yeah well turns out now it's even harder to do that so because with schedules and children and whatnot like this full circle way to do this that's right yeah yes but no you we caught up which was great yes and then I went to Pax yeah and I I certainly had pax's Envy which I knew I would right from the I did too I was in the country at the time I was just in the wrong City no no hold on don't be hard on yourself Matt Pax is in the wrong City why would you have a Pax o and then put it in [ __ ] Melbourne well we we we possibly will be getting a pack and Sy it'll be the pack board game one though yeah that's all right unplugged P unplug pack unplugged is great yeah I'm looking forward to that a fair

bit of board game stuff at this pack anyway though was there yeah yeah it's where I spend a lot of my time or normally um no it was great but no it was it was missing something I think it was due to its first time back and that was there was no Xbox I wasn't there you no Xbox no Sony I wonder know what it's like not having an Xbox oh yeah they they were not there in like full presence um yeah that was Boston was like that too that Nintendo wasn't there the biggest game they had there was Sega Sega Sonic the Hedgehog yes it was Sonic fronti wait what wow I do want to have a look at that actually Sonic I do not understand the line and I I caught up with Darcy there which was great and even we were talking about the the line for Sonic was like 4 hours to get up to

it's 1992 all over again wow the game comes out in like 3 weeks because there was nothing else to see there was I no I think there's a lot lot of other stuff to see and I think were there good Indie stuff there that's what I like about pack that was great great Indie stuff yeah I was being factious I'm sure that is that's the most interesting stuff is the Indie stuff I because the the big triaa stuff we've kind of already seen what's going on you know about it yeah so so one of the ones I got to tell one of the developers of a game that I hate them and I told them that three days in a row great great because you hate their game or because you love their game just a little too much it's before we leave um

it's a it's game out of New Zealand um and you just kiwis yeah no it's one of these games that you go I'm going to play play on a game I'll play for a few minutes and then 5 hours later you still it's very much a one more turn just I'll just do this I'll just do that so I've been playing one of them recently you just told this woman I hated her for three days straight was a woman too I know if Luke's going to abuse someone it's going to be a woman I was say that's that's the only only developer Luke felt comfortable having to go out I know the game is before we leave what nationality was she Luke I just want to make sure kiwi yeah right right yeah what's the game do you want to at least give them a plug while we're here I've said it like he did he three times

now like yeah it sound like the name I thought you were saying that before you left you continually went back there to abuse this woman no no the reason I was going back is cuz I'll give at cards and you're getting cards each day to build a picture and they're working on the sequel at the moment yeah before we leave but yeah it's a game that was it's yeah on what platform it's on Game Pass okay it's a game pass doesn't help me right now I haven't turned my Xbox on since we got back oh I've actually I've actually been thinking about something Dan do you know you could have been playing cuz you've got a Surface Pro don't you not with me uh oh why wouldn't you bring that with you because I thought it was going to be 3 weeks Luke I can't stress enough I thought it was

going to be three we that and listen in case you're wondering I've not seen Dan's house no no I've seen I've seen his Airbnb I went to I went to my house the other day and looked at this Sad Little Ghost Town of Eight houses all in a row with no one in them that's so funny yeah I mean it's not funny it's funny to me it's not funny to you I'm sure it's it's it's almost funny now yeah so they've granted the occupation certificate so now it's just up to the lawyers to pull their finger out as well so we're at the last they just need to stamp something yeah they need to call each other and agree what day they get together to stamp something that doesn't sound too hard but then I'm not yeah I mean none of it sounded too hard

Matt that's fair building the house was a hard part and they've done that they did mate I saw the house the finished house in May I saw it at the last the 30th of May I went and insed the house tick the box that said yes I like this house that that does look like that is my that's the house I asked for yes thanks which you're pretty lucky cuz the amount of sort of building companies in that are sort of collapsing at the moment going here's half your house we can't build it anymore by yeah yeah happens all the time and uh no not the problem just bureaucracy was my problem now Matt you said you you haven't used your Xbox Since You Went Away um obviously haven't used mine in 6 months in the aforementioned six months I shouldn't complain I suppose but I did

I did bite the bullet and and buy a console last week I saw and and it's it's notable for a couple of reasons I bought the Nintendo switch listeners um because it's been about 5 years since it's been out and everyone else got it and I like to get into things just after they've stopped being cool oh the switch is still cool it's pretty cool it's pretty cool it's cool it's yeah you could have brought it like 4 and a half years ago yeah might have been more expensive then though what were they worth when they came out I'm actually they're more expensive now okay great better but it is OLED now so there's that yes yeah mine's not so I got when when you got you bought yours you sent a SC a picture of yours and I was like I could buy one of those if if I wanted to

yeah yeah it's pretty good see no reason to but I I still think we can swap if you want cuz mine is one of the ones you can chip what what's the advantage of that you go to Tortuga for games oh yeah you just pirate everything they are very expensive incredibly expensive the games on this I I thought he doesn't condone it he doesn't and he doesn't even want it's not the real reason he just wants yours yeah yeah I'll never play it not play that yeah um I'll say this though I think when I bought this I think I said to you guys this this is just going to be my main console now [ __ ] the Xbox [ __ ] everything it's not it's it's I was very optimistic you've got to really pick games on it that are going to be good for the switch um yes and Matt you said you'd had a little look at Skyrim I

haven't because it's $100 and I've already bought this game at least twice already but um if it runs anything like Ark runs I don't want to play it on this because Ark looks like [ __ ] yeah Diablo 2 however [ __ ] great and I'm obsessed with this game again it's it's 2002 all over again I don't have that on the switch I could be convinced to buy that can you play multiplayer could we play together yes you can absolutely you can on switch yes really yes okay cuz some stuff right so on on that point I purchased no man's sky on the switch just cuz I love that game and I was curious um it does not have multiplayer yet it may in future

but I was just like I just had to know how the [ __ ] does this game Run on the switch and funnily enough the answer is it seems very similar to me sure it's just the same and I'm I don't know I just find that very impressive like I played on the flight back for a few hours and like I don't know I don't I know that playing it handheld the screen on the switch is small so I know that it's not as high rares and I know that it's not it's fine like yeah I know it's probably not as visually impressive as the Xbox version especially on my series X but like I was the same game this is [ __ ] amazing um they've just released a new update to that game which makes me want to go back again to try to play it is it's super easy yeah there's

a super super easy casual I love it this is one thing when I was at packs I went to a panel about being an older gamer so being sort of over 40 and there were a couple of like streamers on there and a couple of people there's a guy who works for Bethesda and they're s like there's nothing wrong with playing a game on easy yeah yeah like play it to enjoy it exclusively play games on easy now I'm glad you've said that yeah I used to feel I'm glad the guys used to feel where was it the guys from Blizzard or guys from what did you say be Bethesda the guys from Bethesda agree that it's okay yeah I felt so dirty for so long like when I go I'll play it easy cuz I just want to experience the story I'll tell people I'm playing it on normal I won't pretend I'm playing it on hard but

I'll at least pretend I'm playing it what difficulty you playing that oh I don't remember yeah whatever the probably just whatever it came up with yeah yeah I still don't understand people who punish themselves with dark souls and Elden ring I was thinking about Dark Souls cuz you can get that on the switch and I was I was thinking about it that's true yeah the remaster you both will hate it you both do not have time to play those games okay this is a game okay I'm going to there's a game you need to play Dan you need to play this Luke you should play this too you've got to play Return to Monkey Island on the switch oh yeah okay yeah okay it's fantastic I don't I'm not going to spoil anything it's it's different to the old ones I can you know people got mad

because it's not whatever different Graphics wise yeah but doesn't matter it's been 30 years I'd want it to be different no it's look I it looks great it's it's it's funny it's Charming it's all of it's just feels like you're back in that world yeah the controls are different if the game works a bit differently it's still an adventure game you still pick things up and interact with it's [ __ ] great yeah okay fantastic I as soon as it comes out on Xbox I will be playing it I I just I I can't play a game without achievement I'm sorry I've tried this just doesn't work such a good game for the switch though and like cuz I you playing it on thewit yeah I've been playing it that's I played it a lot on the plane I was that's basically what I

did on the way back was played that and watch an episode of Pirro we'll talk about that later if you want to oh we don't have to though it's not that interesting oh we can which era poo I know there's there's been a few incarnations right what's his name um David okay sure yeah he was on the plane and I was like oh I'll watch that and then I watched like 3/4 of an episode fell asleep and then now I've purchased a subscription to britbox cuz I need to know yeah what happened at the end of that episode in that and every other episode oh Brit box it's a strange streaming service it's it's missing so much I found that I looked on there and I was like oh my God there's so much have n out of 10 cat does countdown it does

that yes it does oh does but does it does here doesn't he it doesn't have space it doesn't have the fast show it doesn't have just just odd things that I'm like I wonder why does it just have just Channel 4 or just BBC or something or is it supposed to just be licensed from all of all of Britain got do thato it's got uh yeah it's got um what would that's French Matt French not British yeah good point French box yeah French box yeah frog box yeah no eight out of 10 here really that's interesting I don't get hello Alo and all those there was like six episodes it wasn't that funny was there only that got Love Thy Neighbor on there but I am going to have a look and see I'm going to guess it doesn't got

black ad yeah sorry hello Hulu's got black ad I think okay here um we've got black add on the Brit box here there you go so funny with the licensing issues it's so annoying I don't know if I I I was aware of goodies when I was a kid but I don't know if I saw enough of it that I'd be nostalgic for it so if I was to watch goodies now it would literally have to be good wow I honestly think it'll probably be funnier now with the goodies is a great show I mean I think it's funny I I thought it was funny as a kid but yeah I just have a feeling that there's probably a lot of jokes that I missed M yeah yeah I could even tell you one joke I don't remember anything from it I I remember there's one one episode where I think Tim Brook Taylor's on

roller skates but that's all I remember there's a giant cat and now that I think about it I'm actually thinking of some others do have them which means I remember literally nothing from the goodies youen seen that you remember the eeky thump episode of the goodies where he hits people with a black pudding Bill aie hits people I mean see that rings a bell no see again I'm thinking of the Goon show where they're searching for the for the international Christmas pudding he goes e th and he hits him with a black pudding and knocks him out no all right they did a live show at the State Theater in the city used to be oh wow that's great yeah so it was here that you saw the live I thought you meant like when you lived in England

okay wow no no no like I don't know how many years ago but it was in Sydney yeah speaking of live shows that I saw in Sydney and but by Sydney I mean penth Panthers Leagues Club in penth um that I rewatched recently um do you remember hail and Pace yeah of course yes that [ __ ] is just as funny now as it was yeah I mean you couldn't put it on television now but it's fantastic they were very funny they I think we're more famous in Australia than anywhere else and I think specifically Western Sydney yeah probably true yeah man I used to watch that every week I know so good very funny and a lot of people probably have no idea what we're talking about sketch comedy show from the 80s two British guys not popular in

Britain cuz they used to do an Outback sketch too where there were two of them in the outback so they got very light yes they went all in on the like you know what Aussie's like us [ __ ] it yeah they did in fact they they did an Australian episode an entire episode like a special like a like an hourong special that was just Aussie jokes so you're right they must have just somebody must have said you guys are very popular in Australia and they just leaned into it the one Halen Pace joke that always comes to mind is when they did like a James Bond thing where one of them was narrating and always remember this line where he said Bond escaped like a wind out the back passage always makes me laugh yeah suddenly he said a long sentence with

lots of s's in it Ah that's you shling shy piece of ass that's right that's what that's from I suppose there's no chance of a sausage sandwich I suppose there's no chance of a sausage sandwich that's what that's from yeah there you go mhm what an influence on us I know I know he sat down on a toad stool sorry Mr Toad he said good stuff good stuff very good stuff uh also on the plane I watched something finally that Dan's been telling me watched for about 10 years now I don't know when it came out [ __ ] a long time ago man I watched into the spiderverse yeah and how is it you're indifferent to it just just ordinary movie nothing to nothing to

talk about a [ __ ] amazing mov I [ __ ] told you amazing I absolutely adored it I like these movies less than you do so when I say one is very very good you should take me seriously I adored that movie yeah so good all I hear is good things about I've never not heard anyone visuals the story it's it's Spider-Man but it's different cuz miles is is different it's interesting so good I'm going to watch it one though watch it watch that and then watch top secret and you'll have a great afternoon it took me ages though to figure out I'm watching this movie and the the voice actor for the old schlubby Spider-Man so by the way [ __ ] hilarious the

Spider-Man Noir oh my God I was dying laughing in so funny Spider Pig Spider Pig yeah exactly animal's talking his Universe cuz I don't want to freak him out so funny also thereit made me laugh out loud the first bit that made me laugh out loud on the plane is when spoilers at the beginning Peter Parker dies in Miles Mar's universe and then he's at the funeral cuz he's got spider powers now and MJ is given that speech and she's like you know all relying on you now and then he goes they're all relying on me now and the guy next to him goes I don't think she met you specifically so good yeah it's excellent now I would to watched it just for that line it's it's so good it's so good and then

people receive it in different ways too like I was chatting with with somebody at work who's got an Indian background and like there isn't an Indian Spider-Man per se but there is a person of color who become Spider-Man um I eat Mars maradas and they were like this is the greatest thing I've ever seen I I like now I can be Spider-Man like it just means well that the that whole there's a whole thing in it where it's like anybody of any any race Creed whatever could be Spider-Man cuz it's infinite universes and that's yeah it's like yeah so cool and then I mean I don't want to spoil things but the SE sequences at the end so creative and interesting like [ __ ] hell never see anything like it I know right so cool you know what I'm going to go watch

after this into the sperse doctor strange my guess was going to be uh Spies Like Us Spies Like Us no I just want to see zombie doctor strange again I don't know why that conversation just brought me back to that man I still need to watch Thor love and thunder you don't have to I need to watch that too it's not a bad movie but it's not I'm not going to understand I uh I don't want to say too I don't want to say who but IAL I met I bumped into a friend who worked on that and said oh did you see it and I said oh no no yet and they went yeah well don't worry about it too much that's great okay I love it when people who work on I um when I I befriended one of the dudes who was the previous guy on the two Matrix sequels when they were shooting them

here and I was working at Fox and then um I was like what else have you worked on and he's like you've seen the Mortal Kombat movies and I'm like holy [ __ ] yeah which one did you work on and he was like the [ __ ] the second one I'm get yeah look yeah that I didn't mind Love Of Thunder wasn't bad but it was more of a it's it wasn't really a movie on its own it was more setting up future Marvel movies I think sort of stepping stone but that's okay would you start watching Marvel movies again if say Harrison Ford were to join the cast he's not joining he's going to be dead soon uh he's joined Luke is predicting Matt so just not only is he he's replacing somebody who literally died yeah what oh

that's so funny because I I I thought to myself why is William Herz stepping out of this role you're right he passed away yeah so that's that's why he can't do it they couldn't stop it from the grave yeah he broke contract here's some more money and no his estate was like it's not going to help guys yeah we want him back too yeah Harrison Ford is taking over as general Ross the character of General Ross in the Marvel Cinematic Universe so they're just going to recast General Ross they're not just going to go General Ross is out of town and general Smith has arrived General Ford yeah General on his last legs don't let him stand next to any automatic doors yeah yeah no so or fly a plane I mean I would not have I also would have not

expected Harrison Ford to have any interest in doing this I keep getting confused I still think he's like I still think he's just getting ready to retire but I must be wrong he must have debts we don't know about yeah because there's so much negative sentiment around the Marvel stuff at the moment and and like Brewing more and more you know with like you know cuz who uh what's his name sces was bitching about it a while back and people at the time were like blah but then now everybody's like you know what he was right like it's very difficult to make anything else these days well I don't think it's I think it's I still keep saying that people need to adapt and start focusing more on the small screen big screen you want the big explosions and ships flying around and the small

screen is where you want luk saying is L's not interested in your [ __ ] movies I'm not going to watch any of your movies I really could not give two shits about your movies going out of all of us and I mean like collectively Luke's still the only one who actively goes to the cinema regularly to see film that's true like I'll watch any movie but I'll watch it from the comfort of my home so I don't really get a vote here at this box office argument Luke does as evidenced by the fact that we haven't seen L Thunder yet correct we not watch absolutely would have wanted yeah yeah like we would have we would have seen that like in the first week 5 years ago but Luke is voting with his wallet which is the only vote that counts so y yeah well so is everybody else apparently I

did I did I did see a headline the other day that said AMC quoted as saying people who still go to the movies are the real heroes yeah that's a bit on them though I spend too much money when I go to the movies I go there I go to the fancy Cinema so I don't have to sit next to lots of people I order martinis it's a day out for me yeah I like they're just straight genin speaking of I can't do my being back in back in penth M uh I drove to pick up some pizza and it took me to the old Hayden Cinema parking lot which was like honestly maybe the most Nostalgia I've ever felt I was about to say I haven't been there for years and I worked at that Hayden let alone hanging out the

parking lot yeah for some reason in pen we had two Cinemas yes the Hayden was sort of like the smaller one that was the one I preferred to go to oh well that was both haens yeah both but yeah that one only had like two one on High Street yeah just had the the that's where I saw Batman for the first time in ' 89 that one Batman scream scream to and then they made it they made it a theater restaurant and then now I think it's a strip club actually God knows what it is now I haven't been there in years it's I mean I couldn't tell you it's just some kind of business thing it doesn't doesn't look the same the car park looks the same which is why I pulled in and I was like oh my God just a massive wave of nostalgia hit me and

uh and I was looking around like none of this other stuff looks the same though yeah and like this is not going to be interesting to the listeners but you know there was like a multi like a two Lev car park thing at the end that's been knocked down it's all gone it's I think that used to be secondhand book shop is still there oh in that little arcadey thing at the back oh wow still there wow that was a great Bookshop but still in business the Sci-Fi Bookshop around the corner is not still there is it that's no those two those two shops went a long time ago no there was Fantasia and another one there was the big bookst mini cars still there it can't be right cuz I remember it kept moving further and further out of town and listeners if

you're wondering why we're so enamored with a mini car shop at at the very very back corner of this mini car shop was the Star Wars section with with the figures they had a stormtrooper out arm yeah and when I was a little kid wish I had have had I know here's the super thing if we had had money back then they were selling that for like $600 or something ridiculous now to buy an armor like that you're looking at $5,000 yeah it seemed like an insurmountable amount at the time they were selling original unopened Kenna Star Wars action figures from the first run for $100 each and we were going $100 that's way too much imagine if we just bought them all up then I still own one of the most expensive Star Wars figures out there

which one yakface Yak face yeah yeah I'm not lying he's for some reason one of the most expensive Star Wars figures I don't have it in the case or anything like that the best one that I had that my my grandma found when she went overseas for some reason was that she found Luke Skywalker in the Stormtrooper suit with the helmet and when the helmet was on it was just identical to the other Stormtrooper figure but then you took off the helmet take it off boom Mark Ham's head I think the reason why a lot of the Star Wars the the prices vary and it's a lot of the like less known characters are more expensive cuz no one purchased them well they probably made if you're a kid in the80s what are you going to buy you're going to buy Luke or Han or Le or Chu you're not going to buy

burrito yeah that the ones that no one wanted so they just stopped making them they're the ones that are valuable it's like you know when we went to the we all went to the toy you know premieres not the right word but you know when they announced they released the toys for the prequels and we all toys went there and brought lightsabers around the start fighting each other fighting in the car park everything everyone was getting weirded out cuz they're like what are you opening them for like this is worthless [ __ ] yeah that's right and they're like oh we're going to collect these action figures oh good luck with that so is everybody else which means they're worth [ __ ] all that's right and that's exactly what happened and and a lot of those collectors did not

understand that they were no we're going to save them they're not going to be worth anything and if you go now and look at them now you can buy for less than what they were original PR pric back in the '90s yeah yeah except for the weo ones that were like misprints or whatever this isn't there some there's some uh Phantom Menace figurine that's a mistake Matt that whole film was a mistake oh while we're on Star Wars news yes James Jones has just done the most amazing thing and he's conned Disney out of a ton of money for nothing but Disney keep getting to print money in his name I think this is very interesting but though I sort of look at like this is let's not do the thing where we talk about it without saying what the story is I'm saying what so so

James Jones has sold the rights to his voice so Disney going to be able to continue use his voice but USI he's also 91 so it's not like he's going to be doing the voice for the next 20 years already you don't need him he won't do it need him voice he but yeah he's getting paid out for it sure and then just gets to go on his life and he's going to die in the next yeah but if he died before make this deal they wouldn't be able to use his voice yeah they would not not because they wouldn't have just cart blanch on being able to recreate somebody in his estate would sue if they did that yeah they'd have to like you'd get voice Wars is not the same guy it's slightly off where in this case it's it's him forever yeah they I reckon he's just skipped out with a of

M just the sound of his voice I reckon he's just skipped out with a lot of money and he's he come out ahead for doing nothing I mean I agree I don't if somebody said to me I'll give you a huge ton of money to use your voice I don't know why anyone would do that but also I don't think he's rich I don't think he's like rich rich he's probably Doon he's well off like don't get me wrong he's not worried he's not worried about paying rent or anything like that but I'm he's not he's not sitting there with $50 million don't know how I'm going to make rent this month you don't think James L Jones has $50 million I'm going to go on a limit say I think James L Jones probably does have it well I'm going to go on Celebrity networth.com right now

James which is always I really don't think cuz surprised he's was think Conan did a couple of Star Wars movies did a bit of voice acting like really what's he done what did we say was The Benchmark that you thought he would or wouldn't have 50 50 million according to celebrity net worth James L Jones is worth $40 million yes all right fine but wait that's American dollars did you mean Australian dollars no I meant American cuz he's in America but they also on that site they inflate that to make people seem like they're richer than what they are that that is true because I found myself on that site once not only did it say I earned a lot money that I had but also I wasn't sure I qualified as a celebrity

fairly certain I no I was going to say artificially INF fluing one way of looking at it I think more accurately they just have no [ __ ] idea just make it up look but as I'm said like he's not like he's not struggling for rent or pay his F bill or anything like that but yeah he's not buying hold on I'm not struggling to pay my rent what you why'd you bring me into this not you you said he's not like you still your exact word were he's not like you struggling to pay his rent getting his phone bill on time I resent being the [ __ ] foil to James Jones just cuz he's a tall black rich man he's probably living in his house though oh blow blow wait so wait what you're saying is I should go and live in James El Jones's

house you get m m I will remind you of the last time we tried to move into a Hollywood actor's home it didn't work out well no it didn't work out um speaking of voice actors I I just remembered that I got sidetracked I was going to say when I was watching into the spiderverse that the voice of the schlubby older Peter Parker I couldn't place it for a while and cuz I was I was tired on the plane too I think I remember long time I was like I was like is that Charlie Day and then for a little bit I managed to convince myself that it might have been it's not it's Jake Johnson from Jake Johnson oh sh Miller from New Girl and I was when as soon as I saw the credits I was like oh of course it is then I was like oh I can see how my ears got that confused we like oh

Nick Nick Miller is Spider-Man good on him yeah I like that guy he hungs out with Tom Cruz now he's Spiderman he's doing okay and and he was very good in that like as I know voice acting is a different skill but he just ask Chris Pratt every every we can talk about that MH yeah he's very good it we might as well talk about Chris Pratt you guys watched this trailer oh yes um I laughed it looks great I'll 100% I'm I'm going to go see it I won't go see it but I'll wait till it comes out street I'll watch it I to go to the movies to see but yeah I I I got a shock cuz I'm going I'm never going to see this movie this movie is not for me and then I laughed and then Chris out spoke as Mario and you were like I'm sold he has sold me on this movie I like I love all the the

response from nison they're just like it's it's just just it's just his voice it's just him doing his own voice [ __ ] that's what it was what else was he going to what like you're not going to hire him or Charlie Day and go now put on a voice the only reason I I agree with you nobody should have thought this was going to be anything else and the only thing that I that makes me kind of go yeah but is they did come out and say you're making assumptions about what he's going to do what he's done with this character is amazing braah it's like okay it's just his voice that might be true he might have found a truth with this character that you is like you watch it and he he makes this character more human than you've ever seen him but that's but

voice a couple of weeks ago it came out in literally all the news media that our friend Bruce Willis who has we've discussed ad noisy has just rocked up at a studio and shot 10 movies in a day just to roll in the cash has gone the next step further and allowed a deep fakes company to recreate his likeness for indefinite movies into the future um which made complete sense to me and I found very interesting as the the next logical step in in that kind of progression but he has since apparently come out and said that's absolutely not true we didn't do that oh is that so cuz I've read that a bunch of times I thought that was cuz he as we learned he's not well and

he won't be able to acting solution because this one company somehow convinced this like way more broke than anyone considered Bruce Willis to star in a whole bunch of their movies to just feel good about having Bruce Willis in their movies and being able to charge a little bit more because Bruce Willis is in their shitty movie imagine you own the rights to his face you could just make whatever movie you wanted with BR you didn't even have to ask him and it was just us it wasn't like you know Sony or yeah somehow we would we had convinced him yeah apartment 32A part three Bruce Willis's bin room oh I'd be going straight to 32A with a Vengeance

yeah so he said it's not him though but this is why I also think that James Jones L rich like Bruce Willis is broke yeah but he been like one of the biggest stars since buying a country town but yeah he's been like one of the biggest movie stars since we have been alive yeah the the thing about Bruce because I listened to that haleywood documentary is that that Bruce Willis has stuff going on that I don't even I don't even think I can comprehend like the the um his financials mhm must just be like reading you know some ancient script that I've not I yeah I think it's a lot of celebrities that are just complet out of who just buy whatever they see and then not worried over the years he's just gotten his fingers into so many things that it's like I don't

even and he doesn't remember what it is sure yeah well that's he has people to do that presumably but then yeah so well like you know like Johnny Depp Johnny Depp needs to make x million a year to sustain his lifestyle yeah I'm sure Bruce Willis is probably the same of drinking it drinking one bottle of thousy old wine each day yeah and banging his lawyer oh God shock horor but even like after even after that court trial when he went to like an Indian place after he kicked everyone out and then had all his friends there who are mooching off him and spent like $60,000 how did he spend $60,000 on a meal for 12 people it's ridiculous wild wait £60,000

sorry I assume that's because he them a ridiculous amount as well yeah how oh at at one stage he just got up and went into to the manager's office so he could be away from everyone I do that when I'm in a restaurant too I just I just ask everyone to leave so I can just have some alone time yeah I feel yeah but I feel like there's got to be some Shenanigans going on there like he he said I'll give you $60,000 if you let me sit in your office for 10 minutes like you how do you spend you're right how do you spend that much on a meal that seems it's going to be they were all ordering it wouldn't be so much indan food is a bit expensive so maybe it is which it it's ironically expensive if you ask but they they would have been ordering just top shelf drinks and that's

probably where it honestly would have how high is that sh $60,000 worth of drinks there to begin with I going to say I yeah I don't understand just stop at the Bott like and they wouldn't make $60,000 fold out um I just got to check I may have been making this up but I'm pretty sure I read this don't Che it's definitely true I think it is it's definitely true um Johnny Depp racked up a bill of around oh no Johnny Depp racked up a bill of around $60,000 as he booked out an Indian restaurant that's probably the key is that he booked out the restaurant and they went who is it Johnny Deb 50 Grand and someone went yeah all right whatever mhm that's or you can eat for 60 Grand he didn't eat $60,000 worth of Indian

okay the one I keep going back to is go back and watch meat the N the first meatballs and watch a scene in that where yeah there where he's essentially trying to kiss the his sort of um screaming although maybe it is now well who knows is B scene that they Ghostbusters at no point in Ghostbusters does Dana consent to any of Bill Murray's advances and there's even a shot over the end credits where he is trying to kiss her and she is actively pulling away from him like and that's not the character That's the actress you know she does not want to be kissed by

I've stting to think of a lot of the movies I think like all of the movies where his love they all start off going no no no no no that's like it in Stripes there was actually on Gina Davis has come out and written a book not about Bill Murray but just about how she was repeatedly abused by men during the course of her career and she was saying that that stuff happened with Bill Murray all the time there was I saw I haven't watched it I you actually just reminded me that I saw a video essay on uh YouTube about um I forget the wording of it it was about um romance in Harrison Ford movies being mostly non-consensual and how it's a pattern in the movies that he

don't think so I think it's koven my movie want and it's aous mess but the the documentary on the making of is is just a a beautiful portrait of these friendship and and and teamwork and all these it's the kind of thing that you couldn't make if you tried like the I don't know how the [ __ ] they found these guys and made this documentary it's amazing like but Mike sh what this got to do with Mike he's the best friend of the director of the movie and he is he he's basically like the he's his best friend he does whatever he wants every day he's there anything this guy asks him to do he does he's just the nicest guy you watch this documentary he looks like a little puppy he's just the sweetest guy and uh when they finally

released the documentary apparently they put his phone number in the beaut case you could give him a call and he would just chat with you that's great I didn't know that a this makes it makes me feel a little sad that when I say he's not GE it awake yeah I I knew it was a tough sell cuz you didn't you don't know who he is but I just just listeners if you get the chance I don't know way you can see this but watch American movie it's so cool yeah yeah I'm not saying that sound like a good movie but yeah it's not enough to G it awek that's let's be honest he played guitar he played guitar in the movie yeah he play Rock B all the time oh God that scene where they need someone to like do the horrible blood curling screams and then I I can't even do it justice you've just

got to watch this movie just to see this sweet innocent guy gets in there he's like oh give it a go and his screams are terrifying so good I'm I'm going to see now I don't think they ever finished coven but they did make at least one other movie down the track um and he stars in it uh Mike Shank Stars well they all star I think somebody somebody chucked him a bone somewhere along the line and we're like we'll help you make a mov B gold exactly exactly like shark movie they were making I to find out about that yes so um you can rent or buy it on Apple TV how much is it but it's not available for streaming yeah okay what's what's it for it's really fun it be for renting it

would be that it's definitely worth $4.99 I don't rent I rented something this week I don't usually but I've I've stopped I've stopped oh I see what you're saying I was about to say I've stopped pirating and now I now I read but I thought that's what Luke meant as well and it wasn't no no I just my my library is getting quite big even though at any stage they can just go that movie is not in your library anymore I read an article this week that basically convinced me not to buy them anymore just to rent them if I want to watch them because they you're renting them anyway and unless you're going to so if it's $2 to rent or $10 to buy if you're not going to watch it five times don't [ __ ] buy it yeah yeah well the good thing is that on your five times no if
