RIP QE2: Queen Elizabeth II Death & Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

likes uppers she definitely likes other she likes cows from what I've seen of videos of her that does she she certainly likes horses is that very sweet video of her and they bring some cows in when she's at some sort of festival and she goes cows she does seem like a lovely lady and I think it it's just because I think most people don't really give a [ __ ] whether or not there's a king or a queen but she was likable enough that people tolerated having a monarchy in the 21st century I mean I've seen I've seen a lot of conflicting opinions about all that on on Twitter this week with people ranging from people outright saying [ __ ] her I hope she suffered which is okay that's intense no I'm serious what um because because she's a

colonizer and she the monarchy destroy she's largely responsible for decolonizing and for changing the British Empire into the Commonwealth here's the thing I don't know enough about what they mean to even bother trying to talk to them fair enough and you know middleaged white men defending the monchy is probably not going to S quite well under her majesty the Queen the rest of you I don't know um ranging from that to people being like over the top like don't say horrible things about the queen yeah like she was the most beautiful creature and some guy in the news talking about how there's like a there's like a very extreme issue with poverty and and whatnot in the UK right now that's been in the news and

they've got some new bill coming in that's um supposed to try to combat that I don't know the specifics but there was just a clip of him saying that obviously this that'll all have to go on hold now given the gravity of the situation with the queen and people were like [ __ ] off why Thee the Queen's sick there is a 10day morning period where you're not allowed to do a whole bunch of random and unusual things but yeah I go into sort of like like a caretaker mode but after that now I watched his Majesty's his majesty the king can we can we just talk quickly about the fact that we have a king now I've never had I'm in shocked that it's Charles I am as well I'm in shocked because I knew it was going to be but no no no but there was a lot of

speculation that he was just going to sued completely and pass it on to his son immediately he's the oldest he's the oldest monarch to ever take the throne he's been waiting a long time he's he has been waiting a very long time yeah that's what I reckon too yeah I I don't think he's going to I don't think he's going to keep it for long I think he will pass it on cuz I think also that people like his son better as well yeah and I think he's probably going to slim down the active monarchy as well I think I think it costs something like 80 billion a year um to the British taxpayer to have all of these representatives from the monarchy and and and you really just need a figure head if if that if you're going to do it but ien Flo is the expense of

the funeral and the coronation that are about to happen the issues they're having right now it's like come on guys yeah well even if you look like the amount of money that they're spending on Harry who's left who's like I don't want nothing to do with it they're still paying him millions of dollars a year for security and stuff yeah right um yeah Charles did mention Charles his majesty his majesty the King King Charles theii change our coins are going to change did mention that in his speech today um that I watched live um and much like the comments that you saw Matt there was a very wide range of live text coming up on the um yeah from everything to um return the relics you stole from us oh yeah I've seen a lot of that too yeah and and I don't think it

and listen and talk to people who are geeky because when you're meeting the queen you have to talk to her and she will engage with you you have to have people ready to talk mhm so I'm guessing she would have met a lot of I'm guessing she would have met a lot of people who were bit geeky and she would have sat there and engaged with them and talked with them so I've heard that she was good with people there's a story that was a video clip that was going around of when she bumped into some American tourists who didn't know who she was and they were asking her oh you live around here and she said oh no I live in London but I have a holiday house over there and it's like oh wow that's so oh yeah that's but yeah like it was always

tell me what's happening with cyber Punk there's one thing I do know is they finally took our advice and [ __ ] off the old generation of consoles so I can focus on PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X which should have done day one yes so uh version 1.6 The Edge Runners update Edge Runners is the anime series set cyp Punk world uh that comes out soon so this is The Edge Runners update it's got some tie-ins to that some new gear in it we don't really care about that stuff right that's not that's not what's particularly interesting to us what we care about is yes this will be the last um performance-based update for the old gen consoles right they think they work fine now [ __ ]

offy shut up yeah um that's all you're going to get unfortunately um although it I mean I I say I don't I haven't played it on one but the footage they showed looked fine but Y and your mileage may vary so yeah so they're not going to worry about that they're looking forward to the future now improving things on next gen um we have got in this update uh new Miss Also let's but by Next Gen you mean current gen you mean just like not all gen let's be really clear here a few years but no no but in in that offense for some of the people who are still stuck it has been hard to get the new console true I don't know if it still is well the pandemic didn't help with all the chip shortage getting a series X is still hard I think you can get like a series s

but getting exit so if they're waiting out for that it's yeah it may not be their fault that they have an upgrade one of the things they they pointed out was that the significant performance updates for the series s so there you go so that's good uh new quests uh from the fixes you know cool um yep some Quest tie in stuff to the anime um one of the biggest things that I'm interested in is you now have the Wardrobe system which is transmog as everyone calls it transmog ification you can look you can wear whatever you want and look a certain way but put new stuff on and get the attributes of it and it won't change what you look like I'm saying so you can wear the stuff that looks cool but actually be using the stuff that is functional

that's almost like uh Assassin's Creed Odyssey yeah yeah exactly uh cuz yeah it was annoying when like I I like how I look but I I need this to because especially early in the game you had to dress like ridiculously to get the best stats and it was kind of stupid like so but now yes if you find if you find a jacket you like you can basically just lock it on and like no matter what you and then there's disco alium which is if you want want to do the karaoke well you have to be wearing the kimono and the mesh top and that ridiculous hat God that game so good I need to finish it oh did they talk about DLC yes there is a DLC coming in 2023 it's called Phantom Liberty did they say

early 2023 Liberty they did not just said 2023 they did Keanu was back right Keanu Reeves is in it oh okay so pres so I'm thinking that means it takes place earlier in before the final Miss CU depending on you do get that save before the final mission so that that's actually a good way of doing it having that save there yeah cuz he might not be around anymore um and then uh oh God someone says it's the only planned expansion that's not good do you remember when they did the Fallout 3 expansions which had to give you a whole new ending to Fallout 3 yes cuz you died in the original one and then they come out with the DLC and like you survived we got you out of there just in time yeah I'm assuming this just takes

place earlier in the game um so yeah so that that's coming out 20 it does say what time or date which is probably for the best just get it right but uh I mean it looked really cool it's got uh you know you it seems like you work for the government it's a bit sad but it is a bit sad that they're saying that it's the only one cuz originally they had a couple PL that's on um polygon I don't know why see only YouTube user Jon Dragneel glad to hear we the future Phantom oh huh all right wait wait who said this okay the a PR director from city project red apparently replied to somebody on a

YouTube comment and said glad to hear we sparked your interest as for the future Phantom Liberty is the only planned expansion for cyberpunk 2077 well how I mean it's a YouTube yeah and maybe that's them just saying focus on this it's not even them yeah I I could also see it though because they did have to postpone everything and prob they're proba better focusing resources on the next game to keep doing this but they still want to give back to people not just cancel out right I really it bums me out people don't like it it's so good it's not even that people don't like it I feel like a lot of people didn't give it a chance because of all the drama with the you know the yeah which but that's understandable you can't really blame

them when suppose the game was playable for a lot of people yeah like completely unplayable you're right you're right that's just a shame I thought it was fine but I didn't I didn't give it a good enough go either it came out at the exactly wrong time for me and now now my Xbox is in storage so oh yeah good point well anyway long I think that's hopefully not for long and I had to delete all the games off my Mac and I got a call from the IT department saying you um only meant to have work stuff on your work computer and I said no no no I play these games at work and then he was like what no delete them yeah that that that's not that wasn't a good argument So speaking of um PR Departments of game studios having

different opinions on games then this is a really bad segue but do you want to talk about prey sure I do so pray not the movie no before anyone gets confused the game and not the old game called prey necessarily either cuz yeah so this caused a bit of confusion so Bethesda put out a game called prey or or who was the [ __ ] developer the original there was a game called prey years and years and years ago and it was a good game it was a great game yeah and they'd always been talk about a sequel to it yeah uh human head Studios made a game called prey back in 2006 and then Bethesda owned the IP rights to it and then Arcane Studios were working on the game that was prey the one that came out a couple years ago in 2017 which is a

[ __ ] amazing game if you guys haven't played it which was not called prey during the development no it didn't have a name until quite close to the end and then Bethesda apparently said to them it's called prey by the way and then the the director of it said I prefer it wasn't please don't call it that yeah yeah why are we calling it prey and they said well that's an existing IP that we own so we're just going to call your game that and hopefully get some people to buy it based on the fact that there was a game called prey before yeah thinking it's a it isn't I mean it makes it it makes sense in that it doesn't matter like it's just the name of the game it's not it in no way had anything to do with the previous game and they didn't even pretend that it did yeah like

no just stupid bizarre cuz yeah they had talked for ages about making a s pray and one of the ones sounded really cool is like it sounded also like the Star Wars game that was canned as well you're going to be a bounty hunter on alien worlds but you're going to play that same Native American character that was in the first prey you're going to play him but he's now cuz he ended up going to space and you're going to play that same character who's turned into a bounty hunter going around yeah prey was fantastic I'm I'm sad that they didn't want to call it prey but I mean also it doesn't really matter the game's still great it's just it's just kind of a bummer that that you know that's how it ended up with a name that they didn't even want that does happen a lot I know it happens

in the film World a lot I don't know yeah for example Die Hard 2 yeah Highlander 2 the unrelated yeah that was [ __ ] bizarre yeah that movies even as a kid I was like what yeah yeah it was great I loved it they're aliens now yeah but well I remember watching on the Q&A podcast um the writer of uh Die Hard with Avengers when he like yeah I wrote a scpt once called with a vengance and then they called me up and they were like oh we going to make you a script he's like great and they're like oh it's now called Die Hard with a Vengeance and it's about the guy from die hard he's like what Oho they did they do that with like all the Die Hard sequels just grab any scrip Dr M I think they do that quite a lot to be

honest well it works I like the Die Hard series sometimes it works I liked it to a point I like the first three yeah yeah didn't have um Justin Long Justin Long Kevin Smith as as his son or something yeah no boyfriend oh okay right and Kevin Smith is in it as well before they had their falling out he's the it nerdy guy that hacks for him oh they had a falling out cuz of that movie he was in cop cop cop out yeah that's right I forgot about that yeah when uh but and that's when he started just I think that that was because that's when he started phoning it in yes for films yes yeah when Bruth Willis doesn't like your movie you know your movie is

garbage I love it though there are so many of those um schlock ones that he made 10 in a day um still yet to come out you know and they're just going to be rolling them out I saw a trailer for one the other day and I was like this looks awful yeah I can't wait to see it some of them are awful and some of them are awful in a good way they are a bit hit and miss yeah sometimes n of them are good it's like you know like the room is funny like it's so bad that it's good but then sometimes that doesn't work sometimes it's just bad yeah or like um something like um Sam cop which is like you couldn't make that if you tried you have to have failed to make a movie to make a good movie like that right like it's just so bad that it's

good yeah [ __ ] I watched our time cop yesterday with Mark hell van van oh what's the wrong with my Hamill where he travels back in time time I thought it was I don't know oh never mind is Mark haml in time to no I got to see what this is I don't remember going back for memory time cop is about in the future somebody invents time travel but somebody uses it to basically go back and Rob people in the past and vanam cuz he wants to become president yeah vanam is a Time cop which means he goes back in time to catch future criminals in the past I remember watching this at the cinema when it came out it's ridiculous okay the movie I'm thinking of is time runner which is an action movie that I watched when I was a kid hang on let me paste it in the show

notes down the bottom it's now I'm not I don't remember it very well I remember that I liked it at the time except there was one bit that always used to piss me off with it or just annoyed me he's a bit where he's in a shootout and he just blindly turns around and jumps out the window as the truck that his friend is driving goes past the window and even as a kid I was like how the [ __ ] did he know that truck was going to be there mhm yeah anyway great great is is it that yeah during the Unstoppable alien invasion of 2022 one man flees through a wormhole to 1992 in hopes of changing the future but attempt after attempt is made by someone there to catch and kill him oh it's the director of possession which I didn't

mind back in the day is that the Sam Neil one cuz like nothing happens in except a woman slowly goes insane and Sam Neil's like [ __ ] what is happening so do you know that I I found out this week that Sam Neil considers himself a farmer and a wine maker as his profession who does a couple of Acres as a hobby yeah right yeah he owns a farm in New Zealand and he Farms there most of the time and occasionally if there's a script he likes he goes either to Australia or America and makes a film and then goes back to his farm right well that's that's it for Mark Hamill news you know who I really liked back in the day um and then didn't really like but feel I might start liking again is Brendan

Frasier yeah yeah this is this a heartwarming story I lik him then he just went away but then did find out had a terrible time unfortunately he didn't just go away he was driven away yeah yeah like that's the thing like we didn't know at the time it's just sort of and then he when he came out and explained why oh he literally got sexually assaulted and driven out of Hollywood when he tried to complain about it but he as a man was like I can't [ __ ] tell anyone that happened no one what are they going to do just laugh at me so which is awful so I'm happy that he is coming back now he got a six minute standing ovation well the film he's in got a six-minute standing ovation and you know why 6 minutes sounds like a

long time but the French love to stand and ovate at the end of their [ __ ] movies an armus apparently got a 14-minute standing ovation after blonde this week and I really think if you're standing up there accepting a clap at at the 14 minute Mark you're like please this is just really awkward for me now it's like happy birthday on repeat well there's a there very uh very wholesome video of you know everybody stands up he's clapping and he's not standing up cuz he's like well I'm in the movie so for me yeah yeah and then he just kind of you see he's sobbing and getting emotional and it's just nice cuz it's you he was a big star and then he got basically [ __ ] and he was he was a big star because I thought I mean he was kind of a teen heart throb when he was

doing movies like enom man man and uh in that era and then he sort of went on to like The Mummy Trilogy that really appealed to our generation where I mean the mommy was the ultimate action movie of the '90s yeah I mean now I look back and I'm like oh God but at the time no I think the first mummy movie is still pretty good I liked the second one too though D yeah I think I thought the second I loved it when that like Arab gu is like I call shotgun like it it's just a a silly it's a serious it's sort of serious and jokey it's sort of it's that combination that's just quite fun sort of makes fun of itself yeah also the best ride at Universal Studios is The Mummy ride and the best thing about it is him on the uh on the video screens throughout he's

very funny he's a I'm gonna ask am I gonna like his new movie though the whale probably not it doesn't sound I don't even know if I'll like it I watch the trailer and it doesn't look great but then again it's aronovsky he has never let me down yet so I just I forgot it was aronowski and I can definitively state that Luke will not like it no in fact did you watch mother I was say Luke would be like oh mother what's mother which mother with Jennifer Lawrence and uh he's asked what Mother's about would you give him a little bit of a synopsis mother is the um the story of the Bible as if but as told at a really awkward house party yes oh no I've seen a different

mother DIN and I saw mother and we literally by the end were the only people left in the theater I it and it not only got up and left and made a comment about it too like [ __ ] the [ __ ] is happening like this garbage got up and left yeah it's an old movie it's a very and the baby obviously d drove the final few away be with the baby MH mhm but aronowski likes to do that he made some pretty like uh oh no it wasn't mother I watched I watched I am mother oh okay that's certainly seems more up your I was about to say I bet it's about a robot yeah yeah this is robot no but even his Noah which I wasn't going to see cuz I didn't really give a [ __ ] about movies about Noah and then one day Matt when we still lived in

Orbin we had that cinema around the corner I just went in the middle of the day and I was the only one in the cinema and I watched it and like he gets these you told me he got Giants and stuff in it yeah he gets these giant rock monsters to build the ark for him and I'm like huh I don't remember this yeah cuz I remember you you said that and I was like maybe I should see it and you were like well now yeah and the the reason that God um kills humanity is because they're eating all the animals but nowhere in his family of vegetarians so he's like you guys are fine you guys are okay I didn't know that either yeah I maybe I should watch this movie it sounds it's pretty interesting it's pretty interesting it's Russell Crow right it's Russell crow in a trench coat

like a prehistoric trench coat and Emma Watson right she's in it yeah yeah she is herione and Anthony is in there and uh the main antagonist other than God is um uh what's that real Geer from London uh who's in all the VIN British movies not Vinnie Jon the other one who's not Vinnie Jones oh not Bob Hoskins the guy who looks like a large Bob Hoskins I know who you mean I know you know who I mean right yeah [ __ ] not one of the hold on corbits the big Corbit looks like him as well you know what I mean yeah they've got that look that Geer look um yeah yeah Noah what's his name

Florence Pew I like her so the the movie Chris Pine's in that movie with Florence Pew Florence Pew's mad Olivia wild Olivia wild directed it sorry I'm skipping around directed by and this is also the movie is it that Shila Buff got fired from correct replaced with Harry Styles okay so Olivia Wild fired shy La buff allegedly MH then Chris Pine dick no Harry Styles got brought on board Chris Pine was in it Florence Pew was in it apparently Florence Pew and Olivia wild had a falling out turns out maybe that's because uh Olivia wall is now with Chris Pine and was with Harry Styles oh and and during production just kind of ditched Harry Styles and correct me if I'm I don't I don't know this is this is what I think I've

too because you're literally in the [ __ ] desert right like I don't see how can this happen but then again I was then I was remembering like when we drove when we were in the desert and we drove through Nevada yeah and it was just single Lane yeah you know or sorry double lane you know like I me it's not like Direction traffic it's not a desert where you could just yeah drive like Mad Max next exactly yeah but then no matter where they're going though they will end up cuz they got 15 Lanes leaving but it doesn't matter how many lanes you have they all have to end up filtering into something one or two lanes sort of like like Paramount Road in Sydney exactly you can add as many lanes to that [ __ ] M4 as you want guys yeah but you're going to get to those two lanes

and it's going to stop and yeah and that's what's happened here so yeah if I was that burning me I probably plan to stay an extra day or two cuz it's the desert who cares well even if you tried to leave you technically would have stayed an extra day because some people waited 14 hours in traffic just to get out of there this this just reminds me of people who stand up in Planes oh when the plane the second the plane lands and people jump up it's like getting ready and then they stand at why not just sit you're not going anywhere I felt the same about that until I got older and now sometimes I'm like I just want to stand please let me stand especially I told you guys had that rough flight into um oh yeah into New Jersey and I felt really ill and then once the as soon as

made they've made their own Wolfenstein story in the Doom engine and it looks great and it's free and I really want to play dostein it's not actually called dostein it's called wolf Doom wolf and doom no no no it's it's hold on hold on oh no I I saved it oh no no hold on I saved it hold on I'll tell you what it's called it's called no I am looking forward I because the headset that I got was one of the original ones and it wasn't it didn't it was slightly off and you had the setup was a lot different like you had to have the sensors set up around the room if they weren't in exactly the right position but now I don't think you need the Sens it's all just a headset no you just put the you put the headset on you you got the two little controllers in your hands like a

um the first time you use it if you're going to use it in the same room you map out where the furniture is and then it just removes those from the game so that you don't wander off um and then it's just full emergent it's really cool I mean I like I I it I can't imagine playing like [ __ ] s beat saber was good enough like what if they do Skyrim like you'll never see me you will never see again you can already play Scar well I'll see you guys I'm I'm I'm off I'm off to buy yeah there's already Skyrim and Fallout in VR then here we go farewell it's all over forever um it's called blade of Agony by the way um the Wolfenstein Doom mashup and it looks excellent and it's for free online so you should play it um PC get one yeah I guess I'm going to have to
