writing the next Beatles album now because it was even um Paul McCartney who actually sort of said this so it wasn't like someone else hey I'm doing this so no I want to know is he doing it is he is he going to play on the album I [ __ ] hope so to say this is a Beatles album cuz Ringo's still out there isn't he right the other two yeah no no no ring there oh is he okay the thing the thing that you Ringo's on board with anything yeah Ringo will go along with it the thing you forget about the Beatles is that they had broken up by the time all of them were 30 years old broken up like all of their success was before the age of 30 and then they all went on to have careers after the Beatles that you know various people

channel called adventures with purpose do you know of this I think I may have heard of it I think it's quite well known and I think I'm I'm not 100% sure may have started when you Google Dan you might accidentally see a spoiler about something I'm going to mention because they're in the news they're in the news and not for a good reason I've got spoiler news later but we'll come back to that this YouTube channel is it's basically it's a it's a dive search and Recovery team that I think may maybe they had a TV show or something like that but I'm not quite sure how they got to where they are but currently the way that they function is they have a YouTube channel which pays for everything and they are able to go around the country and help people with

cold cases so people who have a loved one who went missing in a vehicle for example and they will kind of look in a lake or whatever and then and they have a very good success rate with that and it it's they're good and they're interesting they are sometimes very difficult to watch because you you know you're literally watching them find the loved ones of of people who had hope potentially that this person was still out there somewhere so it can be a bit best best case scenario they find their dead bodies I guess like correct and then and there was one that the mom was there and she was like oh you're not going to find him and then they're like we found the car and she's like well he's not going to be in there and then they're like he is in there

cars and just washes them and just watching these beautiful old cars from the 80s and 90s get clean there I've seen one of those with a contach and I was like oh I could find a wash a contach yeah yeah yeah because that's the thing he doesn't keep him or once once or twice you've seen him buy it off the guy and then resell it but mostly he's doing it like he'll see the guy he be like can I clean your can I wash your car can I please wash your car some why did you leave a [ __ ] Ferrari in a [ __ ] Barn in the woods well it's even like there are channels now about just people cutting grass where people just walk up knock on thas door go can I just cut your lawn and just film that and that's quite relaxing oh the case of that one guy I was watching his videos

he shows up and just starts Mowing and then the people come and yell at him CU they think they they think they're going to get an invoice at the end of it and he's like no no no I'll do this for free and they're like don't you try and [ __ ] pull one over on me mate yeah yeah but that's what that's like when the in Australia that I've not seen this for years but there used to be this epidemic of homeless people trying to wash your wind screens at traffic lights yeah still have them in camra do they okay CRA is a little behind Sydney Sydney's gotten rid of him somehow but uh it used to be they like they just come and start doing it you're like right well I've got to pay him now like he'll just come and put his sometimes I was like I'll give you money just to not

do it cuz I've just watched this and your offense but your thing is [ __ ] filthy I think the reason why they're not around as much anymore is especially in Australia is we no one has cash yeah oh man I got asked for cash yesterday first time since Co that I've had to pay for something in cash and I not only did I not have cash didn't have my wallet I had to go home get my wallet go to the mall withdraw money then go back to the [ __ ] alterations place to pay for the jeans mhm I would wouldn't even know where my wallet is if I had to get cash out yeah I had to get it out of a drawer did you get my snap the other day I went to a place where it there wasn't even anybody in there and they just said a sign that said please put the money please write down what you're buying and

put the money in the tin oh yeah I was like all right that's uh well there's a scene in clerks where that happens and she's like aren't you worried about people being dishonest he's like when people see things that they can easily get away with they assume they're being watched I think this is I don't think any was assuming that it's just like this is Small Town Rhode Island like yeah it was a farm basically a farm shop oh sure did you buy anything yeah I did I bought a sasp parella did you pay for it course I did yeah I bought sasp bought a packet of chips for L because she saw and we walked in and she saw him instantly was like chips chips did she eat the chips oh yeah Harper loves chips she just puts them in

her mouth and till all the salt's gone and then takes out the chip Let It Drop to the floor gets a new chip that's like chewing gum to her without chewing l e but she always says it like that when she wants chips she comes up and she goes because she knows you gonna say no so she always goes chimp yeah yeah I was not quite like that yet in the supermarket she demands a piece of fruit um luckily ww Worth's here give you a free piece of fruit on Entry so you can give it to your kid and then you can just kind of push him around but I did see I was I was getting something for myself from the candy aisle and uh CU I don't buy candy for Harper but I certainly do buy it for

myself and um there was this little kid there with his dad and his little kid's like Dad I think I think we're out of chips at home and the dad's like we are and the kids like I think we've got any chips at all at home dad and he's like you're right we don't he's like should I get some chips dad he's like no it was a very polite argument we were at try we were at a friend's daughter's birthday party a couple of weekends ago and um um the it was was all kids right it was like a she's four so kids and there were two kids I guess some of these kids hadn't met each other before and Conversation Over heard I've got two grandmothers I've also got two

grandmothers fu kids man best friends best friend yeah that's great but you have to learn everything everything the things we take for granted like most people have two grandmothers because that's how [ __ ] family trees work yeah like they don't know that that's not a given I was picking L up the other day and we I'm walking out with her and then this woman is walking in to pick up her kid and lra goes that's ronan's Mom and I said oh hi ronan's Mom this woman looked at me like what yeah and then and then I guess figured it out and she was like oh hi I've had a couple like that too yeah cuz we we were at Bondi Pizza

recently oh yeah and um we saw Harper's friend Teddy sitting with his parents at the table and I'm like oh there Teddy's parents and and she's like oh there's Teddy I'd never we' never met the parents sure and then she was I was like oh go and say hello I'm like to Teddy like imagine Tedd imag you're sitting there with your son four-year-old son and a man walks up and says hello Teddy like and then they like who are you yeah be like I know him I know him I've seen him at school I know him very well yeah um I just want to get this out of the way the flash is out it's out in cinemas now people are talking about it people are [ __ ] talking about it I couldn't handle the hype I couldn't see every no I haven't seen it what I did was I went

to Google and I put flash spoilers go and I read down to this and now I feel great because now I'm not overhyping I'm not going to be disappointed when when it comes out I'm not going to tell you guys no I'm not going to say anything I know we we talked about one right that I'm not going to mention we've talked about that before I know of another one fake thing of another one I know that that people are mad about something yes I think but I don't know who it is or what the context is I know what they're mad about I know what they're mad about as well but I don't know why they pick to be mad about that because there's a couple more that they could be mad about if they knew about them too so yeah right I don't know yeah I guess I to either look this up look it's good it

sounds good I've heard very little criticism evidently the visual effects are very very obvious um but that seems to be the trend now like I felt that about the the last Thor movie as well was it was very it seem animated looking the the movies seem to be going a little bit backwards but the television shows seem to be getting better yeah I would agree with that yeah like Mandalorian Andor all look amazing and like they swapped they're like oh movies are oneof you don't have to try that hard but the TV show there's going to be 10 episodes so I did see some quote from the director saying people were criticizing specifically the the visual effect when the flash runs like I I don't I haven't seen it but I saw that people were criticizing that and he said well if you

don't like it that's fine but it's supposed to look like that yeah I meant to do it like that yeah that was intentional so suck it basically yeah and well he's got to make bilon dollar yeah yeah we we'll all suck it and he's uh he's he's been confirmed James gun has picked him to direct the new Batman film coming out yes amazing um but I've got one question that I can't seem to find any answer which Batman will it be a new Batman Braven the bald which I'm happy about but like like this guy's just made a movie with 12 Batman in it what like is he picking one of them or is he making a new one yeah right well do they decide because do they decide at the end of The Flash movie what the timeline is and who yeah did they pick one interesting know

ah actually I think I do know but I'm not going to say it because it's one of the spoilers I read on my list of spoilers um here's this though evidently water brothers are trying their hardest to get um uh Christopher Nolan Christopher Nolan yeah to do another Batman yeah I heard that um okay they're like we want some of that sweet dark night money again yeah cuz he he bailed on them and did Oppenheimer elsewhere I for who it was with par I believe okay uh so yeah they wouldn't give him they wouldn't give him what he wanted for this he they wouldn't make the deal he wanted to make so he went elsewhere yeah well I he's Christopher no and now they want him back yeah now they want him back and not only they want him back they want his biggest franchises back

yeah right oh on that note this this G Del Toro thing it's not a huge amount of news but there's just one quote in here that I [ __ ] love I love G Del Toro he's just such a funny dude he's great he um he said so he's been apparent this is so listeners you probably know who G delor is if you don't he's like he's a [ __ ] award-winning film director he's made a ton of [ __ ] that you've seen he does stuff like Blade 2 which I love but he's kind of schlocky but then he does pants Labyrinth and dare you and and stuff like that um and more recently not Mar but he get he's apparently been knocked back uh five times in the last year in in the last two months apparently oh my God pitching stuff and they just say no to him and the quote from here is in the last two months they

killing it when we when we were young to us but he wasn't because I don't think dark city made any money no I love that movies after dark city he came back to and made Australian movies like that was the last days that's right yeah dark city so good Dark City Garage Days yeah garbage yeah oh while we're on the topic of directors last week I was confused well you were confused also by Christopher Nan this week yes Quinton Tarantino interviews confusing me I don't know what he's trying to say here exactly he doesn't want to kill animals Matt that's what he's saying well okay so what he says is he has a big thing against killing animals in his movies it's a bridge I can't cross and I'm like okay does he mean like just having a scene in aie of his wear an animal

really murdering he said okay what he says is weird he says that's why he go I'd kill a thousand rats in real life but I don't want to show one dying in a movie but not only that he said okay unless I'm paying to see some bizarre documentary I'm not paying to see real death part of the way that this is works is it's all just make Bel he think every time they har an animal in a movie yeah because in the same interview he says like if I'm telling two actors to fight they're fully aware that they're making a movie whereas animals aren't but it's like but he knows don't they animals aren't fighting the death I was going to say yeah he's seen how people make movies right or like I don't know it I was just very confused by like what is he trying to say here his problem's Rel

he says he doesn't he doesn't want to see any violence towards animals in a movie even if it's fake that's what that's what he implies but then he says I don't want to see things really get killed but you're not necessarily talking about the question come from I don't understand the where he this is coming from at all like that's a good point question time I see a turtle I just see that Turtle getting scooped in hand canable Holocaust just can't get that out of my brain I mean I'm I'm I don't want to see that either but but I'd kill a million rats but I don't necessarily want to kill one in a movie or see one killed in a movie because I'm not paying to see real death they're not really killing them most of the time qu yeah so what he's saying is he's fine

with literally murdering thousands of real animals but he doesn't want to see pretend animals pretending to be killed on screen that's what it sounds like he's saying that is Watch Milo otus and you'll be fine oh yeah yeah I very old uh Mexican movie by aleandri Narito called Amore's peros which means life's a [ __ ] which is about um dog fights in Mexico City oh yeah right and it's [ __ ] violent and it's very sad if you don't like animals getting hurt because animals get [ __ ] hurt um but he got criticized for like making a a movie about this he's like the way to get dogs to fight on screen is to just let them play with each other which looks [ __ ] violent and then just dub over really aggressive growling sounds like those

dogs are having the [ __ ] time of their lives yeah and one of them still alive so that's right one of each [Laughter] pair I agree I'm confused by this as well I just don't know what he was trying to say there if he was trying to say that he never will have an animal being harm in one of his movies that's fine wasn't that clear though no and I'm trying to think I don't think there have been any animal armed in his movies no I tried to think as well but I mean I wasn't you know I wasn't looking for that when I'm watching you know what I put on recently I put on in glorious bastards just to watch the first scene I've never seen I should watch it no really yeah I've never seen it it's Tarantino and it's a World War II movie

I know watch it today I can't it's only one hour left in today it's not perfect but there is oh yeah um if the first the first scene is perfect Cinema it goes from minutes it's very very Christoff Walt is interrogating he's a na he's interrogating a French farmer that he suspects of housing Jews right and it's just amazingly done the acting the performance is perfect the dialogue is perfect the direction is perfect it's just perfect I'll watch it I'll watch it not the whole movie is perfect I'll say that fine when David Bowie starts playing they start going you're losing me Fu you [ __ ] hate David Bowie no I love David Bowie but he doesn't belong in a movie about the Nazis yeah and that's why he's dead [ __ ]

hell yeah hey that's a great ending okay no hang on we should do Star Wars news quickly before we go we did because we did we did mention Andor oh so did you guys watch the okay do Andor first um okay Tony what Tony Gilroy is that his first name Tony yeah uh said he's the show runner for Andor he has said that he feels like in the climate now they wouldn't make Andor so don't expect anything else like it yeah which is a real shame because um it was great yeah and and they made this first and then they released the shitty ones like Boba Fett and uh Obi-Wan Kenobi later like after after they made this but before they released it then they released this and now it seems they've gone back cuz now they' done at SOA I don't know who that's for [ __ ] hell

that looks awful that that's for people who grew up Wasing the Clone walls yeah that's for people who say my favorite of them is Attack of the Clones yeah I love the way he words this we got lucky making this during the Gold Rush a few years ago because that is what it feels like there was one point where they were like yeah [ __ ] Star Wars for everybody yeah P Jenkins you have one t just the best Star Wars it was the best show I saw last year like it was the best of anything it was [ __ ] good and and we are still getting two right yeah yeah yeah it's fil it's it's like it'sing I think what he's saying is like don't expect more shows that are as adult and serious as this and and the only reason they got a season 2 is because the reaction to it was very

positive because they almost certainly weren't going to do that you know without some demand for it yeah I mean which makes sense from a business point of view but like like there was a pretty high bar AC cross to get a season two he makes it sound like CU they not making this kind of show yeah which baffles me because it did do well enough to get a second season but it didn't do well enough to get to prompt more shows in the same tone yeah I because I this the tone of this was similar and thematically linked also to um Rogue one which is certainly my favorite of the modern Star Wars movies including almost all of the uh sequels sequel Trilogy and don't don't talk about solo no I I like solo better than I like rise of Skywalker yeah

Ando twice the only one I've seen twice yeah from Rogue one I've seen Rogue one few smart I knew I was GNA run out so B some more Jim Beam and my canic Oak he knew he couldn't trust himself with the bottle though listeners heed out how much he was allowed look I think maybe part of something that comes to this is online you'll see more people talking about Ahsoka and Obi-Wan than you would have SE about Andor just in general even though people probably like Andor more that doesn't get the publicity that the other ones do because everyone knows those names sure I wish I could get into these guys honestly I wish I could because my my brother-in-law is a I mean he he he's a much bigger Star Wars fan

than I am because he loves the Clone Wars you know what I mean like and just loving that means he's got hours and hours and hours more content than than I can't watch it it's unwatchable many times we were just we were too old for it so we didn't get that connection so going back to it tone is all wrong the thing it's funny too though right because if you had said to me even after Rogue one which I enjoyed if you had said TV show about Cassy Andor I would have said no thanks I'm good I know yeah I would have been wrong I'm pretty sure I did say that at the time but we didn't know they were going to make a Boba Fett one that was going to be [ __ ] if you had told me to pick Boba Fett orand or I would said B and I would have been so wrong I still

just that chase scene the slowest chase scene in the world was Robert Rodriguez responsible for that [ __ ] what is going on but let's talk about some really good Star Wars news potentially that people are still complaining about did you guys watch the the gameplay footage of Star Wars Outlaw yes yes yes I did oh it looks good man it looks beautiful yeah looks cool so they're finally getting open world there's no lightsabers where's the other Star Wars open world they teased years ago the Bounty Hunter one got can that looked amazing did it it got cancelled officially cancelled Fu off now with this one have you seen that people online are complaining about it cuz it's a woman yep wait really I was I was joking is that really why I'm not

that people are complaining because it's a woman mhm mhm I uh oh it's just so annoying because like they're complaining like it's a woman and there's no lightsaber and all this all Jedi Survivor just came out with a male protagonist with a light it's already there what are you complaining about I'll play this looks great and it's coming out next year so people really are angry at how many women there are in movies and video games now they they're really angry about it I I really or is it like a meme now I don't understand how you can actually care so much about it it doesn't make any I saw this headline the other day that said um here is the one thing ruining Hollywood movies and when I clicked through the one thing was strong female

leads really but they've got a point and and I don't mean they're right because they're definitely not right but what I mean is like all these gender swapped movies and you know the the I'm doing quotes girl Ghostbusters and stuff sure people didn't go and see it like right people are staying away from these like I can't see I would have thought video game people are is too obsessed to care I'm surprised they care whether they're playing a man or woman you guys are both transverse sites when you play video games anyway not always you'll always choose to be women get a choice I'm a man in Diablo 4 a large Barbarian man oh yeah just like real life be Goldberg is angry at Diablo for oh I I was going to say no but then I remembered I do actually cuz it's not on the Mac yeah no no no yeah

not just cuz it's not on the Mac it's cuz she went in and apparently she's the last person who still buys physical copies of games she went into a [ __ ] game shop bought a copy of diabl 4 came home sat down at her iMac and went how do I load this and then took to Twitter going Games should make it clear that they don't run on everyone's computer they they they do that's very funny abundantly clear that's very funny but also be Goldberg what was that say what what did you say I said [ __ ] whoopy Goldberg I thought you said but also I'd [ __ ] whoopy gold I did not say that yeah I find her an absolutely disgusting human being yeah like she said some awful [ __ ] in

the way that Luke hates um Kristen Stewart for no reason I hate Wy Goldberg and I've always hated her and she's started a horrible racist recently so I don't know what I used to I somehow knew I didn't used to hate her but then she got on TV I hated her in Star talking you know her actual opinions about things and I was like oh you are [ __ ] you're not a nice person I want to play it I really want to play what was that one with the drummers that oh Eclipse that still happen Eclipse that was Eclipse that's uh Quantic dreams doing that one but I'm going to predict this will come out in October next year okay cuz it's coming out in 2024 I don't see it being early 2024 what they would have said so I reckon it would be a October November

release oh we okay I know we have to end the show and I'll just I want to say this really quickly I'm so [ __ ] excited for this cyberp Punk expansion yeah it adds it adds so much stuff to the original game even if you don't buy the expansion you get a whole buch of [ __ ] just in an update with in the game they're not really talking as they're not really talking about it being an extension or DLC they're basically calling it its own thing it's it's I was a bit I was a bit confused whether it was an actual Standalone game or not or if it was an expansion because it wasn't quite clear it unlocks a whole new tree in the in the um in of skills The Relic tree which is that bit down the bottom that everyone keeps saying why is there an

extra one that's blanked out down the bottom it's like fuzzy flashing it's The Relic the chip that you have in your head and it unlocks that and I think that's amongst the things that it just unlocks in the patch for everybody not just you don't have to have the expansion to to get all this extra [ __ ] I am looking forward to going back and playing this game yeah the list of new stuff and fixed stuff is [ __ ] immense and I'm really excited about it I couldn't get into it understand so good I don't understand either I just I don't know just didn't get it just didn't grab me great driving around the city and I'm glad I didn't get too far in my second playthrough because now I'm like well I'm going have to start again with all this new [ __ ]
