funny everyone was obsessed with this when was this show on I think on I not it matters but yeah yeah oh yeah I'm late to the party I'm not like a guys check out this new show I'm just like this thing that I was always aware of I've just started finally watching 2013 oh okay [ __ ] looking at this cast I'm like I recognize some of these people cast is incredible it's got what's her name from Scrubs in it s yeah yeah she's a she's a main character she's an every y yeah really also from Rosanne yes oh yes they swwa over the daughter for a little while just that one one season of Rosanne right or a couple of Seasons couple of Seasons oh

and then her too interesting oh yeah that guy cool it's it's like future armor in that it's clearly written by people that love science fiction and it just lets every sci-fi thought experiment play out in its absurd entirety sure all right I might watch it I promise nothing I'm probably not going to I'll be honest yeah if any if either of you going to watch it I'd say you should watch it Luke yeah yeah and we can just be Rick and Morty buddies without Matt because he's he's never going to jump on this bandwagon that's what looks like it's oh Luke

Luke Rick and Morty cosplay you and me [Laughter] buddy okay this is sort of weird so I'm trying to look at like how many seasons there are mhm the number yeah I yeah I amdb says there's 12 but there's only seven seasons of episodes oh I think there's some specials that they count no no it's sort of like season 12 episode what I think it's just the fact that they've they've been signed on to create more right so it's already listed yeah I thought they were only seven seven available to me anyway the high seas yeah that's right look I'm not saying everyone has to rush out and watch this I'm just I'm just happily living my life reading books of the new son by Jee wolf during the day I'm up to book five now and at night just [ __ ]

watching Rick and Morty look I'm a middle-aged man I watch Jack Ryan Reacher the new seasons I haven't watched it yet but uh oh you know what I'll be watching some more of both of those shows are on Amazon you know who else is on Amazon now oh yeah who [ __ ] James Bond Mr Mr Jimmy Bond jimothy bond has been uh well they already owned yeah he's already own Amazon but now they can make their own yeah the broccolis have said you know what [ __ ] it yeah yeah well they've said yeah we'll take the billion dollarars yeah take the billion so for a long time James Bond has been creatively controlled by the broccoli family right uh who are relatives of fan Fleming is that correct I don't know if

they're how they get no no I think Albert Bry was the producer of Dr no I think he just was smart back in the 60s and and and then just had it and it's always been his and now his daughter's taken over oh so it's just in film and yeah I believe interesting unless they unless it was like a complete buyout when they bought the it so they okay James Bond Jr presume they must have not just the show but also the the Master System game yes yeah so every time something comes up with there's going to be a new Bond there's going to be a new Bond film they had complete creative control over everything so they could yes they could veto a decision to on an actor or or anything like that was their thing and now they've said you know what fine Amazon can do

it Amazon will do it everyone is leaking their James Bond auditions on online now did we talk about some of we just do going to leak mine now yeah yeah cuz it was the famous one of Sam Neil cuz Sam Neil read for it and didn't get it over I think Timothy Dalton it must have been back in the day that would been that time yeah oh would have been [ __ ] fantastic fantastic and he even said he goes I didn't really oh yeah he was excellent but it wasn't Timothy Dalton's fault that he got canned after two but Cav's popped up popped up um well the same week that Cav's popped up [ __ ] Sam worthington's popped up from the same era did it right yes not even trying not even trying which which is his style of

acting I will say I'm bonded they're people who I would not see as Bond Cav you can't see caval no God no it's a movie what if it was a TV series TV series we could talk well I'll probably do some now yeah they probably will yeah they will pump out some James Bond content for sure oh and uh Anthony star his audition in that same round has come out as well and he's not bad yeah he's not bad yeah I mean I like him as homelander and we probably wouldn't have got it yeah otherwise so R the other one who's come out the same time so there's just a little bunch of leaked they so who knows what's going to happen with Bondo now um well we can assume we'll be getting a lot more of him yeah lots is going to happen we can

also assume it'll happen sooner rather than later because you're not going to spend a billion dollars on a property and then not rush straight into it and you know I know there's a there mixed feelings about Amazon at times but I got to say the shows they've done are pretty good oh yeah just Just Jack Reacher Jack Reacher Jack Ryan uh just Jack Jack Jill Jack it's James Bond it's Jack Bond have to change his name but yeah I believe no they've done well rings of power is doing it right I haven't I haven't watched rings of power Mr Robot tried twice wasn't it Mr robot's certainly on Amazon maybe it wasn't originally uh man in the High Castle was Amazon mhm yes it was yeah yeah because Amazon got in a

lot of trouble from putting SW stickers on the subway that's right was for art [ __ ] good show yeah so at first I was like oh God and then I thought well they seem to have some good people over there yeah someone's going to do it yeah exactly someone has to oh it's going to be one of these big companies yeah you see my version some yeah I watch Luke's version what would your version be did you did you pitch the broccolis to give no no maybe that's my problem he pitched them less than a billion dollars I think it was was why he yeah there would be no money attached with me what's your pitch yeah so there's no money what's creatively what are you going to do see what

happens we're going we're going back to the the more funny version not the silly there's going to be comedy again get back to the gadgets and stuff and then I don't know some villain tries to kill the world or something M and Bon stops him well what do you need you should write that down yeah yeah yeah what about Jeff Bezos tries to take over the James Bond franchise and only Rahul can stop it I'd watch that yeah who would not want to watch that movie Just pitched it there you go off feel in the rest later what I love is that every time you hear that an English actor is considered for bond that it turns out to be a rumor they're suddenly in some other spy or secret agent show you know sure

yeah was that was remember not long ago there was like it was absolutely certain that that guy from kickass and NOS was going to be it was him was Bond and then it just was him he was on the rise up and then I don't just stopped maybe they heard that he had already SED a craving the Hunter and they were like oh that's right that's the other one he's in no but I think that's on his way down yeah I think he took that because he didn't get bonded yeah well he must have shot that a while before the rumors right you would think yeah cuz it was around the same time maybe they saw CRA the hunter yeah I've seen Craven the Hunter and I can say it didn't look like they put a lot of time into it no no didn't re- shoots no need we've got a

photo have you seen Molly [Laughter] grubs oh God saw with mly nobody has uh um in other big movie news there's a picture of Matt Damon in Christ 's Odyssey and I mean it's not that exciting but looks good does he look B looks like a guy in uh in a hoplight helmet yes right what is what I yeah yeah that's right so yeah I'm down for that not um not particularly stylistic or anything just as in like let look like it's it looks realistic it doesn't look like it's it doesn't look like Matt Damon to

me I'm trying to put my finger on who I think it looks like H don't know just um take a Le out of Neil gamon's book if you're going to put your finger on someone just make sure you have their enthusiastic [Laughter] consent who does it look like I don't know have we seen him with a beard is that why it might be you beard never seen him with a beard but it [ __ ] looks great that's a good point I don't know I've seen him with a with gray hair too I think I mean I mean you could only see it in the bed but I mean he probably had a beard in one of the born movies at some point when he was when he was uh depressed or whatever I've got to say those were really good I liked those oh yeah and Matt if you didn't like them before

you're you're right right in the spotlight for them now I did like no I did like them yeah yeah well guy wakes up with no memory of who he is discovers as he goes along as his secret agent I I actually I watched a really good uh like YouTube essay on how that movie would be better like it's it's still a great movie but this guy's like humble opinion is that it would be better if they didn't intercut with the with the agency stuff early on and you just found out not know who he was you just saw him figure out why can I [ __ ] disarm people and dismantle the gun and and have you seen the long kiss good night that's kind of is with uh I know it's got Samu Gina Davis yeah same thing she just housewife and then she's like

chopping carrots one day and she's like [ __ ] flipping the knife around she's like why can't I do that when did I learn that that's cuz cuz the way the born just the born identity the first one is right now is that every time he does something they cut to them and they go yeah he's a secret AG he's really good at doing that thing that he just did like we didn't need that like just cut that out and later on in the movie Reveal and then you go oh that's what he's doing yeah I wonder if cuz that certainly sounds like the kind of thing that a director would put in their first cut that they would show a studio that the studio would say but no one's going to know a secret agent [ __ ] tell us right at the start just put a scroll up saying by the way he a secret agent lost

at se cuz that's they pull him out and they get him on the boat and they're like who is he and then why is he kicking everybody's butt and then it cuts like where that Secret Agent Man that we lost in the ocean he's been retrieved on a boat and he doesn't know who he is oh okay were there more than three I think I've seen three of those I think there's there's more than three I think there might even be more than that cuz I think there's there's ones without Jeremy Rena I've seen that but I I it's been a while but I still hold that right up until the third one they're all just as good as one another like I really thought they didn't lose steam as went along there's five five born identity the born

Supremacy the born ultimatum the born legacy which is the one with Rena and then Jason Bourne yep who's in that back to back Matt Damon oh D there is a Damon one I haven't seen okay that's from 2016 I was like it's a recent one it's not recent I'm old almost 10 years old I might watch these oh it's got Vincent Castle in it oh well I look forward to your review of all five movies next week cuz next week I don't think that's going to happen I've got three two two more seasons of Jack Ryan and uh and the new season of reach um evidently the guy from Reacher is quite a hardcore chistian in real life um but apparently he's getting a

lot of flack from the Christian right because uh of the stuff he gets up to on screen sure and uh I don't think they realize that um that that's just acting right yeah saw inter's just getting up to that they're like all that unmarried sex he seems like a pretty cool dude to be honest I watched his I think we talked about this before he did cuz he's [ __ ] enormous you've seen youve seen what he looks like he did a men you know that Men's Health what's in my fridge thing and all that kind of stuff and he was like you guys are going to hate me cuz I just eat [ __ ] whatever I want um this is cookie dough I just eat the cookie dough and like he's he's like I don't know because he just works out so much I just put food in and then lift

Waits and then I look and this happens and it's like [ __ ] you it was really funny yeah he was like very just casual and he seems Seems cool but yeah so interview he addressed that and he said um yeah I'm an actor I don't really do that stuff like yeah but I think I think the other side is they're not no I don't think they believe it's real I think they they're upset because glorifying it yeah yeah and I did I think I've mentioned before the tone of that show is a little weird like yeah in a in a fun way but it but it is it's like a serious uh I guess you know crime ESPN type show but it's got some like goofy zany bits in it too that kind of when I watched the first season I was like wasn't expecting that that kind of

jokey right thing to happen okay now you just let it wash over mhm I've gotten yeah I've gotten the hang of the they take it away you'll be upset yes yeah it's it's over the top but in a in a good way it's eny Jack Ryan's very serious whereas re goes a little bit goofy as well have a bit of fun with it well he's a bit of a comedian as well so who is the guy in rro oh the guy the actor the act the actor yes m like I think the first thing I saw was um Blue State or something it's a football television show and it's just about the football is just having sex all the time with women and drugs and Drug women and drugs I'd have sex with [Laughter] drugs maybe that old saying sex drugs and rock and roll there's only one comma

and it's between drugs and rock and roll you know it's just like sex drugs and rock and roll um you guys I think have both been playing something that I haven't had a chance to but I want to hear about it I don't want to hear too much about the plot or anything but don't worry I can't tell you a thing about the plot yeah okay I was talking to cuz I was like oh I might have to do some reading oh it's one of those maybe I need to play pillars before I understand this but no it's it's is it avowed or unavowed avow avow avowed why don't I think it was unavowed what's is a game too is a game yeah but no this one it's unrelated this is not the sequel or prequel but like I is the point and click adventure game that's right okay but yeah when I'm saying like

that I couldn't tell really tell you the story the story is pretty straightforward there's this mysterial mysterious disease coming over the land and mysterial you right mysterial write that down and you're sent out to investigate oh okay and then you run in and yeah you kill lots of things that's pretty much it right it's and the story of it is your story of you just doing things because it's like Skyrim and you just it's not quite um it's a little bit more on the rails than Skyrim okay well that's not a bad thing necessarily no yeah yeah yeah yeah like out of Worlds was yeah it's exactly like that yes that's a good a good comparison um it's

[ __ ] beautiful really like it's just beautifully designed cuz when I first saw the visuals for this I was like oh I don't know about that the multicolors yeah yeah same I feel like the trailers didn't sell that but it works in the game yeah yeah right honestly it's like if somebody it's like it's like a little kid saw Skyrim and said oh no one's colored in this coloring and their crayons like when Cliffy be saw quake and was like you know what this needs colored lights yeah uh yeah it's it's very well it's more like what I thought maybe um bolers gate might be but not that I've played it but you know that it's just it's just more kind of your typical fantasy your kind of Tolen esque fantasy sure um rather than just

you know snowy north right and and like diverse landscape well I'm not so diverse yet but I'm only in the first or second it does change a littleit but yeah I haven't gotten too far I think I'm in the second third map really more diverse characters than Skyrim and I don't mean like that there's a trans I to say person of color I mean like you'll be govern not going to shut down this game yeah you'll just start talking to this like w wiggly worm guy or whatever you know like Wily wor full fantasy I'm just you know spe the name of the species in the game but yeah it's like when you're playing like there are sort of characters Side characters but you're not getting sidetracked as much as you would in Skyrim like you're not wandering off

it's the very much go here do that go here do that it's you get all your missions basically from the town and then you go out you kill everything you come back then you eventually progress forward to another area maybe it's a bit more like Witcher in that way oh yeah you know there's yeah I don't know it's uh it's good I like it it's not you know how Skyrim has that Ambiance the music and just the pace of it just you can just get hypnotized by it and you can just [ __ ] it doesn't have that so it's not similar in that way but it's just you know if you love Fantasy games and you can't wait six more years for ilder Scrolls six then just play this it's very good yeah this this will be over until Elder Scroll 6 and I'm

looking that long this is making me look forward to Elder Scroll 6 more because I'm thinking it's going to look better well I bet they've throwing in the bin now I bet they've gone oh oh this looks great [ __ ] start again Ask is the inventory revolutionary in this game why were people talking about the inventry ab it's fine perfectly fine it's a whole article written about it mate it's the same as just about any other game yeah that's whe to grab things go into your menu to to like swap out your armor and stuff I honestly think they were just struggling to find something to write about yeah it could be yeah you know what I've noticed a weird thing on um Kotaku and I'm sure I know why they do it cuz they want people to click on things but Kotaku is like

game news and stuff and then occasionally film news if it's nerdy adjacent you know like if they'll do Star Wars thing or whatever and they talked about the the bond thing but then every now and then just a random I this are my RSS feed to be fair maybe they do this all the time I just don't see them just every now and then I'll scroll by and it'll be like how to solve the [ __ ] egg puzzle in this game or whatever oh and it's like what's that doing in there like how to get the you know like some there was a couple for um the uh great circle there just how to solve this puzzle in the great circle but just some random puzzle in yeah Indiana Jones and the Circle I don't know why kak does yeah no no content today it's a slow news day

somebody just in we've AI has detected people are having trouble with this puzzle let's write an article about it so we can get some clicks I'm assuming that's what it is speaking of Indiana Jones though they finally released a patch and I can jump across that Gap I I jumped across just to see if it worked and then I started playing AOW again yeah okay it's got to take me a little while to get back into Indiana Jones cuz while I was loving it beenin months I got to go back and I guess a it wait I'm just lucky that it came out during the week I had of holidays from work like I just played it every day it was amazing yeah something that's happened to me before where it was just a period where just because of what I cuz Jenna went away to

Vermont or whatever and I was here and I just just had like time to play it was like very fortuitous Fortune Glory yeah cuz I tried to Pop um to pop a vow on my absolute and I'm like I'm wasting the visuals looking on a 7 in screen like I'll just wait till now one's time and play it on the TV again yeah that's why I don't know we talked about this briefly you know with Indiana Jones you could put it in the widecreen mode yeah but playing it on my oh g-cloud I was like I've got there's a screen at the top and the bottom that I'm not utilizing and the screen so small that I turn that mode off I turned it off anyway because I found the WID screen looks great this the the cut scenes the

cinematics but just turning in that huge wide it just felt like I was had way too wide a lens on my camera or something you know it just wasn't wasn't right even though I understand why it was there and my my heart said I should be playing it in in scope but I just couldn't do it it just doesn't work it's it looks great appropriate but confusing y yeah cuz the film isn't shot in first person if you if anybody doesn't doesn't know that yeah well you know what's funny AOW you can play in first person or third person third person oh sticking it to city project red well even though like my character looks so [ __ ] awesome I'm playing this in first person Luke are you or are you yeah it just works better just feels better yeah it feels right to do it to do it that way

what reason why I think it it feels better that way is cuz your attacks are slow I feel when you're playing a third person game you feel you're used to attacking faster yeah yeah I'm going to try to use magic in this too I'm going to try cuz I always end up playing Fantasy games just [ __ ] with the biggest sword I can and just slashing through things so I'm going to really try but I love it like you have to have a book like you have to you know you cast spells so you like literally got a sword in your right hand and your left hand you're holding a book Going H hold on one thing one thing you need to do is you need to make sure to upgrade your weapons and spells cuz that the the monsters the things that you're fighting they don't level up with you it's they

are just that level so if you're not leveling up your armor things it's very hard and that way when you go back if you go go back to clean up a mission in past world map it becomes super easy because you'll that's the thing people always say they want and and I think um Bethesda is often like you actually don't I don't think you do want that so now I guess proof is in the proof is in AOW we'll see yeah cuz you you you basically you can upgrade the same weapon like two or three times like you upgrade it from standard to to the next level there's always a limit to how yeah yeah okay it makes difference the last Elder Scrolls that had set level creatures was morrowwind right in Oblivion they they scaled them and people were like what what are you

doing cuz part of the fun of morrowwind was that you could wander off to a place with [ __ ] monsters that would just kill you but you could try and maybe you could pull it off like yeah yeah if you ran just right maybe they would fan out enough that you could just fight them one at a time yeah I get this sword instant kills everything yeah yeah oh cool oh I have to check it out maybe well the good thing played Oblivion enough oh okay and I wish that I I never I finished Oblivion never finished Skyrim play Skyrim [ __ ] hour for weeks probably total day total game time Skyrim I've accidentally finished Skyrim a couple of times yeah SK the main story just just

ends if you if you do enough of the main mission suddenly they go congratulations on yeah sorry I wasn't me I wasn't trying to do that I was trying to do this other thing and oh okay but there's so much like as far as I know scym never ends like people are still finding stuff in it yeah is there anybody who's like I have exhausted it don't know I know there's people still playing it that yeah like that Granny play as I can't keep doing this guy something or it's getting boring yeah yeah yeah yeah I still got to finish Phantom Liberty uh I do want to do that it's good I might just um try and focus on the story line just cuz I do want to experience it but yeah it's so

hard to get so easy to get distracted yeah cuz cyber Punk again is huge and also because I started a new game and I I did the yes I want to level up but it basically it skips you to it's done the the highest bit right at the start of cyber Punk so you basically you begin in um and and it it's completed the heist and it's completed a bunch of the voodo boys stuff too so you start like it's I was quite pleased with where it put me CU like oh I don't have to do that stuff again but the whole rest of the game is still there yeah like right so calling to you like I think you the next thing for the original main storyline of the game you have to go talk to um you know takimura the the Japanese guy who ends up helping you oh it's been so long I

don't remember okay there's still [ __ ] infinite game available to me so I just got to not get distracted I wish they had released it better so I could have had the DLC earlier so I would have still remembered the game I tried uh twice to play it as you well know and something else that I've now tried three times to play and I think I'm just going to officially give up on control I it's [ __ ] oh really it's it's so tedious it's so tedious it's essentially a maze game with a great backstory you just trying to find your way through this [ __ ] map and the thing and that's why I keep saying like you need to sit down and honestly just that's the only game you play Just bores me it bores me the second once you

learn you want from a game once you learn the map and where to go it's actually quite simple but if you stop playing and you come back how the hell do I get there again and cuz it's the map's not useful the signs sometimes help but yeah I've I've actually found out paying attention to the science is much more useful than opening the map the map can be [ __ ] confusing um you just treat it like you were just in a building and you'd like where's the suck sign for the toilets um it helps and I like the setting I like the kind of corporate setting but for so long I was doing the [ __ ] janitor Mission so I was down in the [ __ ] with the the furnace and all that I'm like oh this is so it's awful it's awful maybe wait for the

sequel I want to know what happens though but I'm like how much more game have I got so much probably probably a lot can watch a video Yeah y I think I'm going to do that there are solutions for those problems I was thinking of watching One For the Rest of quantum break I just don't know that I'm going to have time to finish it but I was I did find the story quite interesting so I watched the opening cinematic to Quantum break this week because I considered playing it when I was bard of control but I was still on a remedy kick yeah and [ __ ] they they just [ __ ] go by the way here's the [ __ ] story yeah [ __ ] yeah all the stuff's happening okay now now you play

Go time machine yeah yeah definitely throws you in there um speaking of Elder SC six we have not heard of Elders not heard of heard about it much in the past few years there was an E3 a long time ago where they announced it went quiet they showed a little a little graphic but they have now um it's been it's come up again and you can uh there a charity auction pre uh there a charity auction to um and you get to be an NPC in the game if you win so if you want to be in Elder Scroll six give some money to charity it take an arrow to the knee it does make me feel like they're getting maybe closer to it if they're

looking at putting in random stuff now I mean I've back running out of money that said they put me in the game and then there's just no game so cuz they took that money and did something else with it I find it hard to believe that they're running out of money oh I'm yeah yeah yeah oh okay so the top bid what was okay what is the top bid currently let's have a look uh oh is it already finished do we have May already finished never mind uh I found out how far away you are from finishing control Dan it's a long way isn't it it's a very long way you have completed mission three oh yeah yeah I'm going to 10 YouTube okay so the the the top bid at

the moment for for for this is uh is $48,750 okay so if you have 50 Grand to spare and you want to be in the Elder scr six and the thing is the crazy thing that sounds like a real bid I I mean it is yeah but you know how like whether they'll actually pay it yeah sounds like you're not making this up man no no no what I mean is that sounds like a sense will be that someone is actually going to pay a lot of times stuff gets run up to hundreds of thousand oh pledging and giving are the same to [Laughter] me they're not did you actually give them the money I pledged the money yeah but did you actually give anyone the money I've said it I've said 10 times now that I pledged it yeah we know

yeah at the time of this article it was 11,000 and I was like oh okay no it's 50 now uh yeah I mean I'll be playing it as myself anyway so you that's a good point always me when I play it yeah and game counted myself maybe it be like in Conan Exiles when you finally find and you're like oh there he is he's just at a bar oh oh that's right he's in it isn't he yeah he is yeah can't do anything with I mean you can interact with him but only on a very minial level he just says hello yeah yeah he wants nothing to do with you he just want to sit and drink his drink in peace I've done my I've done my stuff y go back to your set punched a camel today um speaking of con and Exiles it's

good segue uh Dune awak ing made by the same people uh comes out in May but only the PC version unfortunately okay which I cannot not run on my PC I'll tell you that um but that means we're closer to the Xbox version coming out presumably and we get to find out if it's actually any good before we have to commit to it yeah that's true that's true I did play that quick sand or what there somebody somebody made like a dunesque um oh yes I told you that looked terrible it was okay yeah it was all right I played it for an hour I think I played it for an hour yeah on the switch it's pretty pretty sparse on content but I mean that's the point of

yeah um when you talk about Conan I just automatically think of Minecraft which is essentially the same game uh I I mentioned a couple of weeks ago uh slav in Minecraft though depends how you play it yeah I've always got my slave with me when I play it so um that I saw Minecraft Lego at a friend's house right and Luke your question was is it regular pieces layer bricks I'm sorry to say they're just regular pieces and in fact since you put that in my head I saw it again and I was like I'm really disappointed now like it just looks like something's made with Lego but just not very well you know to have it be all all blocky but I must say I had a look I went into my so this is listen to Grant it's his it's his

this point I really don't think they can but CU didn't they was Xbox the first platform to have them and then steam added them later yeah it's kind of their thing yep 360 once loved at my achievements on Steam no even every now and then I think I'll be playing a game and say you got to collect a trading card card I was at one stage I was just giving all my cards to Luke anyway that's yeah I was going to say that's and I accepted them cuz I collect them for some reason then also with they because they're there and you just that's your personality y I have an addictive personality for stuff like that except I don't like trophies Sony's trophies oh yeah just because they call it a trophy no because well I'm not getting

achievements when I'm getting them but then also if I now look if I was to play Sony game and I get a trophy so yeah but I've got crap all trophies it doesn't really matter oh least my a gamer score and right up there with the best in the world yeah yeah well I was telling somebody uh about your gamer score M and the lengths you go to to maintain it and they're like I that means nothing to know like I don't know I said I don't even know that he en I was actually yes I was and I said yeah I don't know that he actually even enjoys video games at this point currently 153 in the world yeah you don't get to 153 for enjoying video games man yeah that's

like that you can and you can swim and you know so we go down there we sit on the the grass and eat the picnic and then she splashed around and stuff and we came home had a great time didn't say word about anything then we get home and then like literally just like five minutes before bed she's like you know I'm really angry we didn't have that picnic and we're like what and we're like we had a picnic today we went down to the beach she's like we didn't put a rug down mhm and we're like what she's like so it wasn't a picnic like we like to be fair we've got a rug in the car we have a picnic blanket that just stay didn't get it out we didn't get it out because we didn't [ __ ] need it but she could have just said at the time this is not a picnic and I would have gone back to the car

yeah anyway not the point point of the story is saw a dude there I'm just [ __ ] I just look at dudes now at the beach and compare myself to them and I get just can't help I become obsessed um obsessed of looking at dudes just [ __ ] whenever they've got their clothes off I just can't but it's true though and um but I saw this dude like our age and just as chubby as me but more muscular and I was like oh yeah I could I could kind of settle for that you know what I mean like if I just couldn't lose this gut I could just keep building the shoulders until proportionately they were bigger than the gut and then at least I'd have that old timey Muscle Man physique well you got to remember like you look at the

coms you look at the strongest men in the world competitions they're not musles no that's true they're B that's true yeah I watch this YouTube video about how you know everyone says they're like physique goal is Brad Pit in fight yeah and they're like it wouldn't cut it anymore if you were an actor these days like if you were us sure but they showed him and they're like this guy is way too small like he doesn't have bulging out pectorals and you know yeah yeah like Chris Hemsworth like he's just huge or even like um what's that guy who's not the rock who was in Baywatch and he's a Disney kid oh Zack Efron yeah like he's got [ __ ] enormous yeah but he he said uh he had a lot of trouble after that because to get like that was very difficult and uh he apparently has

ongoing health issues as a result of what he had to do to get like that and also Tom Hardy said the same thing when he bued up for Bane he said he he not that he regrets it cuz you know he did it for the movie and that kind of stuff but he it has affected his health like I don't think actors it's it's not healthy to what they're doing because it's not a lifestyle for them it's you're going to do it for this so and you need to do it very quickly yeah and it's so funny too because when did becoming a bodybuilder be a prerequisite for being an actor sure when we were kid they don't all do it but yeah I know what you mean what but if you wanted to do it now if you wanted to become an actor the first thing you do is start going to the gym

um and they were talking about how cuz what's a I forget the name of the girl is also on that show um mon she said girls like what Toto looks like and then cuz then Toto was like oh Dax you obviously I don't do what you do you're quite big and and Dax is like yeah but this is for guys like I do this so guys will look at me and then I've heard uh I think Rob melin said that before too it's like guys don't get that jacked cuz girls like it cuz girls don't like it no they get they get that jacked so that men will be jealous of them well it's the same reason guys get sports cars and Rolexes no girl goes up to a that's a nice watch but other dud con like yeah you sucking me

to save save your world and plan your life and you say take a picture and you could tell it you know or just hold something up and go what's this and it would sometimes tell you what it was sometimes just say I don't than not don't know I have no reference well yeah it was 700 bucks plus a monthly subscription for it to work uh HP has bought the company okay and uh they will become yeah they'll become bricks very soon and uh I thought one thing that made me laugh people so people are pissed about it right because these things were very expensive and uh and they're just not going to work anymore but they did say some things will work for example it will still be able to tell you the battery level if you ask it's like oh good that's actually the only thing I

use it for I can do nothing all day yeah yeah so because all the servers are going to be shut down so it's going to yeah it's a bummer you bought one I mean no one did right no one listened to the show bought one of these things but fact I think they did a big price drop at some point too when they realized that they'd priced it way too high for something that most people's phones do most the functionality that's the thing I think this kind of product could be cool but really what they should do and I know they can't because because Android or Google and apple won't let them do it is that it should just use the phone as the brains but but neither of those companies want to let them do that no cuz they're working on their own yes y yeah there's no way

everyone's tried to do peripherals you know like like the Google Glass and and even the even the Snapchat glasses and you know and the headsets and stuff like this everyone's got ideas of what like things that aren't your phone could be the general really deci I'm give me Google Glasses I just think it would be great if the phone companies or the phone platforms did let them do this stuff I understand why they don't but come on like I this could be could be a cool product if they could just work with the phone it would be good yeah right exactly well I'm interested what um HP is going to do with it though like why would they buy them out they bought the patents and they

staff yeah and they're not going to do anything with the tech I don't think yeah not specifically right they'll get to do something else yeah or some some feature from it will just be in some other device now cuz that really that's what HP does now HP doesn't make anything they buy stuff it could literally just be they thought the patents that this company had will be valuable because someone else will want to make something and they can just collect money yeah m that could be all it could be as simple as that yeah yeah um you I've mentioned I've mentioned on the past because there's a guy at my work who's just whose wife's family in China are just super rich and just bought their house over here PID for their kids private school and stuff like

oh okay h of that yeah don't ask that deep seek Ai No the Chinese AI oh yeah oh man we had the funniest thing the other day so we had um we had these guys like these AI experts just brought in to do a talk to to our staff right yep and they showed us all these [ __ ] amazing things right that they had done just text to video and all that stuff like this they basically showed how you can do an entire production Pipeline with only AI with no shoot no human being just all of the stuff so they did storyboards and then they animated the storyboards and then they put them full rendered and all this stuff and it was pretty impressive and then question time at the end and for some reason my staff

just [ __ ] ripped them to [ __ ] like everyone was just like um oh it's not very diverse didn't see any Australian Aborigines in there and you know and I didn't see any obese people and like just but did you just go you were here when we were making it we didn't ask to put that in we'll go back and we'll just put that in like throw a sentence in there and it'll add one yeah twoo whatever you want mhm no I'm looking forward to it I get to start looking at how to create an agent in it so sort of a chatbot using C spawn style agent mhm nice so I'm looking forward to that play around with that yeah interesting play with the video I sent you guys that's right yeah I probably sent you an annoying number of them because I was just playing around but

yeah man I use it I I use it cuz I'm for writing this [ __ ] book and I use it as an editor like so I'll write I'll do like three different drafts of a chapter and be like oh [ __ ] what have I done and I've changed tenses here and stuff and I just [ __ ] copy and paste them into chat gbt and I'll be like can you please just compile and yeah and then just fix all the tenses and the grammar and it and it will and and then I'll just P it back into the manuscript but then you still have to read it because I've had some times where I'll put something in and it'll come up with something very wrong like it told me um put in something and I went oh give me all everything for for this period and then it came up with thing I'm on this date and I went that's the wrong date and I went no it's not

and went no no no February 14th is Thursday not the Friday or whatever it was and it went oh yeah thanks for pointing that out and I went no you said it with such confidence yeah that's the thing yeah yeah yeah I told you I use it for to ask it code questions sometimes and it's just like aggressively incorrect about things and you go that's not right and then it's like oh yeah sorry and it just says the same thing again and I'm like and then and then I start argu I'm like I'm like I told you that's not correct what what are you doing mate and it's like oh I'm why am I talking to it like this yeah that's right yeah but when it's funny when it says things like oh that sounds interesting like are you interested in it very ego strokey yeah what about this

amazing idea yeah but it started trying to write characters for me and I'm like no no don't do that don't add to the pr don't be creative yeah that's not what I need I just need to make sure that the commas are in the right place I can't be certain you haven't stolen that from somewhere yeah that's right yeah that's what it's good to help but yeah you can't trust it no God no that's what I mean though you could say because someone said oh you can make a whole app with it I wouldn't [ __ ] trust it to do that I can't trust it to answer a simple question sometimes when I've got doing code stuff like I wouldn't like do not copy and paste code from chat GPT and run anywhere like you need to what it's doing I think the one that's the most polished is the the songwriting one

which is um oh yeah the one that generates the music or just yeah yeah the one where you give it some vague talking points a genre and it makes a song and like not necessarily a song that you'd listen to on the radio but like this these like if if you were doing an ad and you just needed music in the background and you didn't want to pay anyone money for it yeah like unfortunately that's one that you get away with that's the point though right is yeah like the the text to video stuff still looks like AI at at a glance whereas the music you'd really have to think about it I was yeah stuff like a YouTube video right I was watching a YouTube video and it was a guy a guy from Queensland who goes out on boats to like remote islands and that

stuff and I just I know I find it stuff interesting to have on in the background sometimes and uh I think because I wasn't watching it and I just had it on that I could hear you know YouTube essays and videos always have just background music and it's kind of like you know lowii yeah there's like a certain genre of music that is but the music I was like hang on minute and I I went back and I was like I don't think a human wrote this because it actually it doesn't follow any I unless somebody was trying to be very um different it doesn't follow any particular you know like structure that you would be used to as a mus so unless it's some kind of avangard artist who was writing very standard you know um like lowii four 44 music for a YouTube video and just

decided to go really weird with the timings I think was AI oh that's interesting yeah yeah because it just I was like what the [ __ ] is going on with that music just like it would just change like key at a point where I was just like what is that happening yeah okay okay but yeah but you're right it's pretty impressive it's the most it's yeah it's not perfect but it's the most impressive and mean if you didn't listen to music as active as I do you probably wouldn't notice care cuz you you you should have been watching the video I just wasn't paying attention to it and so the music my attention yeah oh you'd be hyper aware of that stuff anyway I would think at the best of times like when I was in

Film Production I just couldn't watch a movie without thinking about the editing yeah yeah now yeah well I do I notice the music in stuff a so um speak of thinks the music is good in uh Severance new episode oh I haven't watch the new episode then I won't say anything yes it is music is good in that it's good it's good very minimalist but but like memorable it's quite difficult to do sometimes definitely oh I had a great quote the other day um uh and it was just about music and but somebody was saying that another word for catchy is predictable it's like oh that's so true it's like when you something's catchy is because you your brain knows what's

going to you know what's coming next come next and they were talking about how when you write a song You Have To Tread that fine line between making it like original and unpredictable which is what you think you should make it but then you risk not having that catchiness sure that predictability brings yeah interesting the opposite end of the scale is stuff like like muga where it's it's not that at all and that's the appeal is that if you're only musicians like that stuff because yeah you go see them and you're like what the [ __ ] are they going to do next yeah and how are they going to do that how is he doing that on the drums how is how are his legs doing that yeah well this dream theater's new album which is just like somebody told

AI to make a dream theer oh no that's a shame but I just listened to it and I was like oh yeah I've heard this it's like this is there's two kinds of bands I feel like there's a band like Lincoln Park which I feel like I mean they they have a genre but they move around it and they do different things and then there's other bands arguably maybe Dream Theater is one of them where you know what you're going to get yeah yeah yeah yeah well sometimes B it's bands sometimes have a hard time some bands can grow and change where other times they'll try and go no just go back and do what you're doing yeah Lincoln Park were funny because I think their second album tried to just mimic their first album and and and and people seem to not like that so

from then on they seem to just try to age up their music as Their audience did which was interesting not a lot of bands do that and they were never as popular again but it certainly kept them kept them going yeah yeah right I think and and like uh n nail is a good example too like he didn't never really did the same thing yeah uh but also never followed any Trends or anything you just kind of did whatever I guess whatever the [ __ ] you wanted [ __ ] instrumental Alum when he wants to and yeah continues to do whatever the [ __ ] he wants arguably with less mainstream success lately yeah yeah but he doesn't have to because he made so much money off of [ __ ] the albs they do are [ __ ] weird now doesn't he have actual
